This restaurant has the potential to become my number one favourite restaurant of all time. The quality of the service never mind the stunning variety of exquisite Indian cuisine is second to none. On our most recent visit we had the mixed tandoori and lamb sheek starter them a mixed balti and king prawn Vindaloo with onion and pilau rice and saag aloo and peshwari naan along with the obligatory papadoms and sauces. As a kfc lover you’re expecting decent quality chicken and for the food to be hot. Unfortunately all of our meals came out practically ice cold. It’s definitely the kind of spot you’d want to linger in for a relaxed meal or coffee catch-up. We ordered the chicken goujons and fries for our little one, the beef & bird bagel with sweet potato fries, and the sweet chili chicken goujon wrap which came with a fresh side salad. For drinks, we had a lemonade (super refreshing!) and an oat cappuccino that was really good as well. Overall, the food was really nice. The sweet chili wrap was tasty and satisfying. The chicken goujons for the child, though, were a little on the dry and chewy side. Bright and clean, welcoming atmosphere immediately obvious. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Menu presented all the classic old favourites. I went for my own all-time favourite "comfort food" -breast of chicken and chips. From a choice between one or two pieces of chicken, I asked for two pieces and,of course, chips. Got breast and drumstick, with very generous portion of chips. Went back for same again, so haven't tried the rest of the menu yet! The chips were extremely good, tasted very fresh and well drained. The chicken was really tasty and succulent. The prices, in my opinion, were very reasonable. If I can tear myself away from the chicken, I intend to try some of the other old favourites (fish, chips'n'sausages, chips with curry sauce/gravy etc) in the future! I expect they will be just as good. Really recommend this wee place if you're at the garage, passing by or just want a really nice, basic takeaway!

I heard this place was dog friendly so convinced my autisic teenager to give it a wee try. When we walked in and looked out to the courtyard it was quite busy so wasnt hopeful we would be staying as my teenager isnt comfortable in busy places. I quietly approached a server asking was there any chance they would have a quiet table available as i had an autistic teenager and a nervous dog with me. The lovely lady replied that it would be no problem at all if we didnt mind waiting a few minutes along with a big reassuring smile. We were led to a table right in the corner. It felt private and isolated enough for the teenager to agree to stay. It also provided our nervous dog a safe place under the table to hide but able to see all around her and guard her humans lol. When ordering our food i ordered an omelette and the teenager ordered a sausage bap with tea. The lady serving us asked did we need anything plated certain ways which gave me the impression she is SEN aware. We both enjoyed our food greatly and the dog enjoyed her sausage. The teenager has said he would like to return some other time so well done cosy corner. Not many establishments we visit get a return visit. Thanks so much again.
