Since it's only a short walk from our daughter's apartment we booked with only shirt notice but early enough to easily get a table for three. The kids and husband loved their pizzas, and I ordered the risotto, which was delicious (the goat cheese was an incredible touch). I was told they have gluten free pizzas bases and the risotto is gluten free. The turimasu was also very, very good, the custard was creamy and cold which I loved and couldn't get enough. We didn't order any wines since we were so tired from traveling but they had an extensive drink collection to compliment your meal. Lots of specials written on black boards above the tables. Take out was a great option, we were able to get a table for 4 at around 8pm on a Saturday (lots of tables available). The waiters were all very friendly and helpful to give advice on ordering and the food came out fast and hot! We had a great experience here and I would definitely go back.

Ok, let me prefix this review by saying im notnthe biggest fan of Italian food. My wife makes amazing Italian so id rather go out and enjoy Asian or Indian Cuisine. This though was AMAZING!!!! Wed come to Bath for our wedding anniversary and thought wed have Italian for a change. Firstly, the restaurant is set on the river and the views are stunning and restaurant is beautiful. Secondly the staff are fantastic, so so friendly and knowledgeable. Really 5 star service. Honestly the welcome is probably more than youd get visiting your favourite Auntie! Now onto the food. As I previously stated, im not a massive Italin fave but this nissan in my top 5 meals ever: Calamonki: stunningly presented and absolutely fantastic. Best Calamari ever ever had. Tagliere Del Ponte: faultless selection of meats and cheese and the blue cheese was a show stopper. Taglioni Al Nero Di Seppia: black squid ink pasta, with Argentinian prawns and Nduja!!! Breathtakingly good and best pasta dish ive ever had. Worss do not do justice to how amazing this was. I dont want to eat pasta again after this as it wont compare!!! Ragu D'Agnello: mouth watering and gorgeously rich! Dark Chocolate Cheesecake: outrageously good! Hazelnut Espresso Martini: better than at most cocktail bars!!! All in all.an extraordinary good experience that ticked every box and then times'd it by 10000000x Seriously if I ever want an Italian meal id be tempted to get a 2 hr train ride there and back as it'd be worth it! Still, a solid choice for Italian food in Bath in a nice location with charming service.

You feel like you are sat in a 17th century inn but with all the mod cons.. The staff are personable, professional and you can even have a giggle with them. My wife’s Fondant was perfect unfortunately my Affogato was initially served without the espresso and returned to me with cold coffee already poured, shocked and surprised that the servers in a restaurant of this reputation do not know how Affogato is served, (hence my 4 star review) nevertheless well worth the trip across from Cardiff.

Once for our birthdays and then last week first our wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. Our room was pleasant with a very comfortable bed, however the two arm chairs were not and were more "form over function". The radiators in our room and ensuite were not working and a room heater was installed on our second day following a couple of reminders to staff. When I mentioned this to hotel staff they were promptly replaced. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but the hotel clearly needs more of them because the service was very very slow. At breakfast it took 15 minutes for our tea to arrive and 30 minutes for our meals. Not good enough for a hotel of this type and needs to be sorted. In summary, we enjoyed our stay but the whole experience was let down by a lack of staff and overall attention to detail. Needs a bit of a shake up.

We had such an amazing stay from the moment we got there to the moment we left. Timbrell's Yard is in a brilliant location right in the centre of Bradford On Avon but its set back from the road so is really quiet. A lot of the rooms overlooking the river Avon so are peaceful with lovely views. We had a mezzanine room and it was like being in a posh tree house. Scandi type furniture, soft furnishings, comfortable bed. It was actually a bit magical. Bathroom was a good size with a nice rainfall shower. The staff at Timbrell's Yard are outstanding the three receptionists we saw were friendly, genuine, funny, and helpful. It was the same with the front of house team, bar staff, chefs, managers. They were genuine upbeat and really knowledgeable about the menu and food they served. Breakfast was delicious I had mushrooms and poached eggs on smashed avocado. It had an amazing dressing. I liked it so much I would have had it for dinner if I could have. My husband had poached eggs and hash Browns. It was a!shame as he reported his eggs to be a bit cold. The conversion that the pub made was really sympathetic with the history of the building and the area and just made you feel relaxed. If I had a criticism it was breakfast service was a bit slow and we had to change our menu choices as we had booked a tour. On reflection we should have got up earlier. We both loved every minute of our stay and cannot recommend it highly enough.

The burgers are lovely and homemade and both my teenagers enjoyed these options. Food was definitely a 5 out of 5. Great menu and absolutely delicious. The service, however, is terrible, and they have the cheek to add a compulsory 10% service charge. Tuti was very, very accommodating organising tables and moving other customers around to seat our party of 5 as we didn't have a reservation. What an amazing experience. Tuti is the friendliest, most welcoming, open, humble, honest and generous man. The food and service was exceptional and I would go as far to say the best Indian I have ever eaten and we have had many! Afternoon tea was sublime. Their pastry chef really knows what she’s doing, and it was a real treat. The venue itself is quite dated, but honestly in quite a charming way. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly and advised we could use the spa facilities (sauna, steam room and pool) before our treatments. Both my wife and I had a 55 minute massage from Josh. My wife went first and when she re-entered the spa reception, her smile said it all! I then went through myself. The treatment room is cosy, clean and warm. Josh took the time to ask about any ailments or niggles in your body where you may want some extra attention. I must say, his massage was outstanding and absolutely first class. As a massage therapist myself I always enjoy having massage, but it’s rarely do I find a masseuse that works as fluidly and seamless as Josh, it was a perfect start to our stay here and we’d both recommend a visit to Josh for his massage. We were given an upgrade to our room which was a nice surprise and the room we are in is the Grooms, garden room. It’s a lovely and cosy room that is well appointed, with a small sun room to the rear, although not sunny today, an absolutely lovely place to sit and have coffee with a read. So, my take on Woolley Grange Hotel and Spa, both absolutely top notch. Beautiful hotel, superb setting and amazing massage at the spa. The entrance is a bit hidden away from the main road, but easy to find and accessibility doesn't appear to be an issue. We were shown to our table and were sat directly by the River Avon as it ambled its way through Bradford. We ordered deep fried mozzarella and the breaded mushrooms, both of which were superb - nothing like the pub versions you might think of. Mains were a couple of pizzas. I went for the Milanese - goats cheese, onion chutney and rocket - whilst the hubbie went for the Pescatore - prawns, anchovies, clams & tuna. Both were flavourful and bright. My only tiny downside is that they felt a little floppy - another couple of minutes in the oven. I'm being really picky as we devoured both of them with vigour! Dessert was a tiramisu for him and a brownie for me. Both were excellent. I will definitely be returning in the near future, if you are looking for somewhere to eat in Bradford on Avon then this place is well worth a try. They also have an outdoor area, which I didn't feel like braving!

We held a wake here in the Vendange suite for more than 50 guests and were impressed from the moment we contacted the hotel. The views from the function room were amazing, there was direct access from the car park to the suite and double doors from the room to the garden. The event team provided sound advice, providing guidance on the food and were happy to accommodate our modifications to the suggested menu. On the day, all the staff worked well together to ensure everything went smoothly. Kind, respectful and professional, thank you! It was a difficult day given the circumstances (funeral wake) but made so much easier by the location and service. I have not added photos due to the nature of the event but tables, and chairs had been dressed and arranged as requested and access provided to us early to allow the setup of a tribute table at the head of the room. BUT..on arrival at 4pm on the Saturday the room was cold - the radiator would not come on and that is how it stayed until we left on Sunday morning! The staff said they would sort it but never did - have us a 3 legged electric fire with minimal heat which had to be leant against wall. Ate there Friday night - both steak pie, crisp top but inevitable 'soggy bottom' mash ok but veg way undercooked. Saturday morning no hot water to wash or shower - boiler broken down - fixed by evening. Back from 'do' Saturday night went to bar for nightcap - suddenly at 10.30 we were told to leave the bar and go into conservatory, they were locking up!! - no sign, no warning, no 'last orders' - just 'go'. Nine of us had to move. Back to bedroom, cold, a standard creaky double bed. Very disappointing, won't be going back. They need to sort a few things!@
