They deserve 6 stars in every category- but the food is where they truly shine. Everything we tried was exceptional and well-crafted, served at appropriate temperatures (what was meant to be hot was served HOT), and it was easy to see the chef really takes pride in their work. We sat at the bar, and Joey the bartender was wonderful. He is a total foodie and made me the best mocktail I've ever had (dealer's choice). Hayley (a guess on the spelling) was also incredible and recommended the truffle amberjack, which is a must. In addition to that, we got udon carbonara, the oxtail uni waygu brioche appetizer, brussels sprouts, a variety of rolls, and sake cheesecake. Each was incredible in their own right. This spot seems like it is a hot spot for birthday & similar celebrations. They have an assortment of regular menu items to order such as appetizers and sushi, or you can order teppanyaki and have it made on the grill right in front of you. Every teppanyaki plate comes with rice, some veggies, two shrimp plus your choice of meats along with a small salad and soup. I am not a huge fan of the dressing they use, so I didn't eat the salad but the soup was good despite being just a broth with two small mushrooms floating in it. My teppanyaki dish was delicious, the meat was cooked just right and I enjoy the sauce they serve with it. I do wish that the veggies had been cooked slightly more and they could use slightly bigger portions for the meats with how much each dish is. While I do understand that part of the cost of the meal is the entertainment from watching the chef cook, a bigger protein portion I think would help balance out the cost. Especially since most parties will typically type the chef as well before he leaves the table. Our table also had some of their sushi, spicy edamame and dumpling. All three dishes were enjoyable and I didn't have any issue with them. A family member of ours treated us to a dinner here for my husbands birthday & had mentioned to the staff that it was his birthday. At the end of our meal they brought over some small cakes, a big candle & a fun mask for my husband to wear while they played some loud drums and a happy birthday song. You'll frequently hear this through out your dinner as almost every table there had someone celebrating either a birthday or another event. The chef who did our teppanyaki had also made my husband a balloon headband to wear because it was his birthday & the chef liked his hair style. This spot is a little pricey per person for a meal, but to visit for a celebration or a once in a while thing I think it is worth it for the experience! Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation, depending on the time and day you visit it will be packed.

We happen to be in the area looking for something to eat. The inside was nice. It had some some Japanese decor. They also had different types of seating indoor as well as outdoor. We took her advice and we were hopeful that the food was going to be really good as she described. We ordered the Thai Noodle bowl. Here you place your order and they bring the food to you. They had fountain drinks and other beverages. After we placed our order we sat outside, but some of those tables were not cleaned. We made the best and sat at the one that seemed the cleanest. It was really a nice day and we just wanted to enjoy the food outside. They brought our food over along with napkins, sauces and silverware and seasoning. Chopsticks are available inside if you prefer to eat with them. The staff that brought our food and the person that took our order were amazing and nice and sweet. They do have a bathroom inside which I did not use but the person with me did. In my opinion, the food was just okay. I don't think I would return but it is a place that I can see other people enjoying. Like I said the food is not terrible but it's not what we were expecting. But you should give it a try as it wasn't a bad option as fast food. Because this is a Japanese spot. I was hoping they had ramen noodle soup but they didn't. They do have a lot of options for sushi. I would have tried it had I not wanted something hot to eat.

It was a clear disappointment. What they failed to mention is that you can only use their equipment if you know how to read Korean because all of the equipment was in Korean. The room also still had decorations up from Christmas which shows how much the staff care about details. The speakers connected to the karaoke system were loud but one sounded like a blown out speaker that was in an old busted up car. One of the ledges on a sofa was broken like someone deflated the cushion however that's possible. The only saving grace was the food which I can't say was the best I ever had but for a few hungry women we made the most of it. We couldn't stop laughing at the whole situation because it's not like we had time to really pick something last minute. A day later though both my sister and I were sick and I just felt dizzy and nauseous where she unfortunately had diarrhea and nausea. Needless to say I will thankfully never return to this restaurant and I'm actually quite surprised that they are still in business at this point. After asking the server if that was normal or on the menu she said it was, but offered to take it off and put in one without honey mustard. I’m thinking to myself that everything is fixed. Until I get my replacement roll which was essentially a brick of cream cheese with the top of the roll being normal without the honey mustard this time. As you can see in the photo the piece laying on its side is what it was supposed to be, no cream cheese. This was some weird filler they did to cut cost I assume? I couldn’t tell you how we got from honey mustard to a brick of cream cheese but we did it. After plucking out all that, I ate the scraps of the roll and got out of there. As I head out I check the menus again to make sure I’m not crazy to find out my server lied to me I couldn’t find anything on the menu saying the roll was going to come with any sauce on it. I really don’t like that I’m leaving such a poor review of my favorite sushi bar but I am hoping this will help them rectify quality issues as I’ve been more tolerant up to this point. If someone’s first impression was this I guarantee they would never come back. I’m sorry for having to do this, and there are some extremely talented chefs there who have done this for 14+ years. It’s just been such an inconsistent experience this past year and it’s a bummer.

We got everything to go. Got a few sushi rolls (they were incredibly bland and the rice was dry) breakfast burrito (which didnt have everything the menu said it would and honeslty looked like a quesadilla when it came out.). They only had bottled and canned drinks available. Got pretty sick from the food. We know it was the food as it was gotten for breakfast and became unable to eat anything else the rest of the day.

Sadly disappointed.. I stuck with a Cali roll because I knew it wasn't going to be what I was use to. Huge portion which was nice, but nowhere on the menu did it say it was a friend Cali roll.. I hate those! So I opened them and ate the middle, it was pretty good. I don't know why they make carne asada nachos and fries but not tacos.. so I ordered the nachos. It was good at first and then got really peppery, so I couldn't eat anymore. It was very mediocre.. won't come back. Service was a decent pace and staff was very nice.
