Regardless, the Coffee Donut was very appetising. The Iced Latte that helped wash it down was also very good. I've knocked down one star due to the fact that the indoor seating area isn't very welcoming, featuring fairly uncomfortable and weird looking seating. They do have an outdoor seating area which is a lot nicer. Prices are very high for what you get and they have the gall to ask for tips when you're paying an already steep price. Tips should be based on the overall service, not before you've even tried the food.

The coffee good . The patisseries delightful pretty looking and tasteful. However the service was abhorrent, hence the 1 star. On arrival we ordered coffees and a few delicious looking treats, there were 6 of us. When the young man brought the drinks to our table he didn’t place them gently down onto the glass surface of the tables, instead they were placed so hard that the sound could be heard 3 or 4 tables away. Paul showed us all around the distillery and explained the process and how much time and effort goes into the whole gin making for them, it’s such a labour of love and you can really tell this is everything for them both and that it means so much, which is a really wonderful thing. Then we went up to the gin school, were everything regarding us making our own gin was explained, Paul went through everything step by step and made sure we all understood everything that was going to be happening, Paul was on hand to help us with everything, giving advice and tips to help enhance our gin distilling process, we got to pick all our own botanicals, we bottled, named and labelled all our own gins and that was such a brilliant experience. We went for a very citrus forward gin, we hand picked 6 botanicals to go in our gin, we chose the following: lime peel, orange peel, lemon peel, liquorice root, pink peppercorn and kaffir lime leaves and let me tell you this gin was a absolute WINNER 🍸 Overall this was a such a great way for us to spend a Friday evening together.
