I ordered the Crab Rangoons, Mongolian Beef, and the Playboy Roll. The Crab Rangoons and the Mongolian Beef was an improvement on the General Tsos Chicken from the day before. I ate lunch in the hotel lobby and a couple people commented on how good the food smelled.

The egg roll were flat. No decernable flavor profile. It did come with a decent sauce. We try Pad Thai often. Some are wet, some are dryer. Some a lot of peanut. Some a little peanut. Well this lacked the peanuts, lacked bean sprouts, lacked any flavor in the sauce. If you like the generic flavor profile you will like the large portion size. Our server was excellent. And the speed and pacing of the meal were fine.

It was so yummy. My husband had the same opinion about his. Even my 2 year old liked some of the curry sauce on her rice, which they brought us an extra bowl of for free. We were seated in a booth when the restaurant opened for dinner. Our service started out attentive and my only gripe about food is that the pork in my soup was very fatty and the duck buns were very bland but we asked for soy sauce and it was delivered fairly quickly to our table. The Thai iced tea was delicious. One of my coworkers ordered another dish to go after we paid for our checks so we waited and talked while she waited for that order. The entire dinner with the four of us lasted about an hour & half and we were asked to leave by a separate server to make room for a reservation. Some of us weren’t finished with refills on our drinks and felt a little singled out- there were other booths filled with people that had less than ours and seemed to also be finished with their meal. Both were ordered with chicken and both were ordered mild. I thought the Lo Mein noodles were the best part of that dish. They had good flavor but unfortunately I didn't think that flavor transferred over to the vegetables. I did enjoy the amount of vegetables that came in the dish. It was just unfortunate that the vegetables didn't seem to pick up the flavor. The Pad Thai Me Up was very good. The flavor was excellent and everything on the dish worked well together. The sauce made the dish I think but squeeze a little lime and sprinkle on some peanut and the dish became amazing. Overall, this was a great dining experience. The wait staff was excellent and the table setting was elegant. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back and trying another dish or two. One note about about our seat was that we were next to a foldable area divider with a nice corner light that you see in some of the pictures. Unfortunately, we were right next to the restrooms and while it did not smell at all, sometimes the flush of the toilet ruined a bit of the experience. It's unfortunate that restaurants feel like they have to add that extra table right next to the hallway where the restrooms are. It was nicely hidden with the room divider and again it didn't smell. But still unfortunate that a table has to be placed there.

I met them last night when I went in for the first time to order take out. They both talked to me and made me feel welcome and even helped me pick out food for my picky eaters (children). They were quick and efficient and had my order packed up/sealed and ready to go within 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't look into my bag because they had it all sealed/stapled up. So, when I got home (which was across town on the north east side of fort wayne), I was missing a whole side of white rice. Now thats the best part of the meal to my kids. Lol. They LOVE their white rice. So because I couldn't just drive back there and tell them about my missed food item, I had to spilt the one side of rice between them two. Now onto the chicken. I thought I asked for grilled chicken and to make it spicy. I got breaded chicken that wasnt spicy. The Kung pao chicken was full of peanuts, veggies and LOTS of sauce, not much chicken at all! All of the food that I had on my first visit to this restaurant was just bursting with flavor, served piping hot and made with fresh ingredients. The owner even came out of the kitchen to check on us. You couldn't ask for a better server, spot on perfect! One word of caution though is that if you order spicy, you will get spicy. I like hot and ordered the "medium" spicy which was probably just a tad too spicy for my tastes. I was warned beforehand though. Ordered Crab Rangoons as a guilty pleasure to start. They were made in house and above average as far as they go. Next we got Cashew Chicken and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. This dish came highly recommended to me by someone who frequents this store quite a bit. I have to say that she was not wrong in her recommendation. This dish was amazing! It's basically a beef stew with bulgogi beef, glass noodles, and vegetables served with white rice. Initially, it's a bit of a challenge to figure out how to eat the soup/stew out of the bowl with either your fork, chopsticks, or rather large spoon. But no matter how you get it to your mouth, you will be glad you did. The broth/sauce is fantastic complimented by the beef and veggies. Add some rice to the mix and it's yummy time. This is something I recommend would to everyone. I also tried one of their Honey Teas. I tried the iced honey Quince tea. It's a graphic 3 mile tea similar to an Apple or Pear in weight and sweetness. I will definitely be trying to get back here to check out a couple more of their dishes.

The sushi rolls including the caterpillar roll and the crunch Munch were good but not outstanding. The salmon entree was tasty, well cooked, and flavorful. The lady handed me my bag and I was shocked at how small it was. When I got home I couldn’t believe how disappointing this $8+ order was. The dumplings were totally deep fried and all of them fit in the palm of my hand. The rice was flavorless. At most Chinese places you can get an entire meal for lunch for that price that includes an entree, rice, soup, and egg roll. Complete rip off and I am still hungry.
