The playlist was banger, the cocktails delicious but it was the food that was amazing. We had the chicken, lamb and calamari. Wow! What a flavour bomb. The three of us couldn’t stop thinking or talking about that meal, so the next day, we headed back to work our way through the tapas menu and some different cocktails. The focaccia was the surprise hit and the perfect accompaniment with the other dishes. They questioned if we ordered too much focaccia- no way. The Barramundi fish curry was exceptional. Chinese 5 spice chicken was lacking a bit in flavour and was a bit dry. Peking duck spring rolls were nice. The Moreton bay bugs really let the whole experience down. As well as being a little underwhelming in size they didn’t taste fresh at all and smelt like a late night trip to the toilet was on the cards. Gave the staff feedback on it which they said they would pass on to the kitchen. After looking at previous reviews i see this isn’t a new thing and they need to source a new supplier. Cocktails were amazing but along with the beer and wine were overpriced. $300 for 2 people is a bit of a stretch. Unfortunately won’t be returning.
