The decor is fine, nothing special but it's a nice enough place to sit, the booths are nice and there is a decent amount of space and comfort. We just needed a quick stop over before the ferry the next morning. We just wanted a quick dinner and a few drinks. We headed down and just from the second we stepped in the atmosphere was lovely. Ben the barman served us and told us about the drinks options, we then ordered food and noticed how lovely the staff. Ben, Rachel and Lauren had been not only to us but to everyone else. They are true assets to the industry, I have 12 years in hospitality and gosh do I know the hard gig that it can truly be for pretty much minimum wage but they reminded us of how it should be. Really authentic and just a delight to see. My mum got a wee treat when Lauren found out it was her birthday. Honestly can't say how friendly and delightful the three of them were. We had steak and a vegan burger and that was exactly what we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to come back, just a two hour ferry! This is hands down, genuinely one of the best beef burgers I’ve ever had. It was so well seasoned and prepared. The bacon was absolutely amazing, the cheese was great. From start to finish, everything about the evening was faultless. I started with the breads and curry butter along with some chorizo – both were absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service for sit-in is the worst I've experienced in the whole of Northern Ireland.
