Our son who has sensitivities to foods due to additional support needs will only have the skin on fries so we asked for a portion of these (again this is what he has at our local beef eater) they served a tiny dish with a small handful of fries which again had sat on the pass for sometime and we're not exactly warm. The waitress didn't once come back to check how our meal was or anything. It's really disappointing that we're £60 down yet still hungry after a meal, we then had to call on another staff member for the bill as we sat with plates and empty glasses for sometime, we didn't dare stay for dessert after the time and disappointment of the meals. We definitely wouldn't recommend this particular beef eater after today, and we'll definitely not be returning to the particular one, we'll stick to our local one.

Sylvie/Sylvia was our waitress and was super helpful when visiting prior to our booking to decorate table, then during our visit, was very accommodating, with nothing too big of an ask. Table had mixed grills, fillet steak and the chicken & rib combo - all of which were cooked to perfection and would defo recommend! Staff then sang happy birthday to my son, whilst bringing out his cake and although he was rather embarrassed - loved that the staff did this extra bit! Overall, staff & food were amazing, so would recommend a visit and we will definitely be back 🥰

The Saku Saku Duck Soba was crispy, had a nice level of heat and depth of flavour, the Chicken Firecracker lived up to its name with a proper kick and had nice crunchy veg to complement the tender chicken. On arrival we were warming greeted and shown to our table. We were seated beside other couples without children although we had a toddler with us. Drinks ordered and arrived quickly. Our starters consisted of garlic breads and bruchettas which were very good, empty plates removed in a timely manner. Our mains arrived which were pretty much thrown on the table and the waiter rushed off, we had no cutlery, I had to ask for fresh cutlery, then spoons for the spaghetti then parmasan to accompany the pastas then chase the guy for more drinks. I had king prawn spaghetti which was very sweet, the veg in it was undercooked and 5 prawns in the whole dish was somewhat disappointing. My daughter said her spaghetti bol was nice and the pizzas had no complaints either. Deserts were ok although blackberry and prosecco cheesecake is a bit tart. Prezzo used to be one if my favorites but again it was a let down. In all honesty I'd say the place is hugely understaffed as our waiter was lovely but absolutely rushed off his feet. I don't think I will be giving prezzo another go unfortunately.

The menu changes every week as it's primarily a training restaurant. They also book up really quick are are only open for short amounts of times but they are it is so worth going out of your way for. We visited for lunch and it was an Indian inspired meal (I was initially skeptical being Indian myself). However, I was blown away by all the flavours and the skill that every element was cooked with. The food is fresh and everything was homemade since the students are learning to make everything from scratch. The dishes were all incredible and were the perfect portion sizes. We were really impressed. It's a cosy resteraunt just what we like. We arrived at 4.30 so were the first to arrive. The ribs were just falling off the bone. For mains we had weeping tiger & the pork special which were both good especially the pork as it was slow cooked & just melt in the mouth delicious. I had the crispy cajun halloumi salad and my friend had the garlic and chilli mushrooms. Sadly though as we progressed onto the mains, mine which was the peri peri halloumi burger arrived and it was stone cold, the chips though were piping hot so I said don't worry about them just redo the burger. It went back to the kitchen and when it came back out it was hot and they had made fresh chips - which was good- but had that weird slug looking thing one of them whether this had just landed on them or what I dont know but it just put me right off them and it was discarded to the side of the plate. The bun on the second burger though was burnt and I'm pretty sure that the peri peri sauce wasn't peri peri as there was no spice to it. My friend had the Steakanoff but he said it was swimming in sauce and he didn't feel it was the advertised cut of meat. I wouldn't recommend here nor would I go back, though I do hope they improve so that no one else has to have such a dissatisfied visit.

However last night's meal was the kicker that made sure I won't be back. Ordered the Pork in black pepper sauce with chow me in noodles. When I had been previously the snack box's had been okay and solid value for money. However any proper meals haven't been the best. Thus we ended up here. We were seated quickly and everything was explained about how it's all online now and payments are online also. So no cash. Was a little tricky to get our attendants attention at some points but understandably busy doing other things. There's always something to be done. App is a little dodgy. We ordered drinks and I saw it being added to the list but then when it came to final order, some things had just disappeared, so be a little wary about it and double check before you put everything through. There was one girl who had just stated that day (12th October) which we would have been none the wiser if she hadn’t said. We had ordered two steak baguettes and some kids meals. We opted to have no honey mustard sauce in the steak baguette, another lady come over also lovely and asked if we were allergic to mustard or just didn’t like it and insisted we tried it first, she come over with a small pot and let us try it.. it was beautiful, thank you for giving us that option as we wouldn’t have bothered if not. All the food was very nice. I particularly liked the salt and chilli squid starter. If I had to be critical at all, it does irk me that it’s cash only. That’s questionable to me just from a tax obligation process and if you don’t know and only have a card for contactless payment you can forget it. That’s not good, especially post the worst of Covid. I’m taking one star off for that. But the food is nice. Not great but perfectly acceptable.
