We were staying nearby by and so looking for nice places to eat in the area. When we read about the fact they serve American style food I have to say this really appealed. So on the Tuesday morning we made contact and a table was booked for that evening. The pub is set at the beginning of the high street on the left as you turn off the A355. When we arrived we found there was a friendly local welcome waiting for us. We sanitized our hands before being escorted to our table in the front part of the restaurant. I don't know how many tables they had in this area but the one's left were very well spaced out and they had screens up in between. Personally I was glad once again to see the staff without face shields or masks this really needs to catch on. It was also great to see the place very busy on a Tuesday evening with everyone supporting the hospitality industry and the #EATOUTTOHELPOUT scheme. We ordered a drink while we looked at the lip smacking menu. This consisted of burgers , wings , mac & cheese , sides , salads , nachos , sandwiches and of course desserts. We decided to start with some Mozzarella Logs with a chilli jam and half a dozen Buffalo Wings. These were both amazing and you would have to go a long way to find anything better. Now it was burger time and these were absolutely delicious. The Texan burger had a Pretzel Bun , bbq & ranch sauces , cheese , bacon and an onion ring. The Beautiful South burger is definitely one of the best I've had the pleasure of eating. A Brioche Bun filled with a fantastic piece of Buttermilk Fried Chicken , smoked cheese , hash brown , chilli jam & jalapeños. With this I had some amazing sweet potato fries. We accompanied these with the absolute heavenly Buffalo Mac & Cheese. Now it was time for dessert and there was no disappointed here either as I enjoyed a truly delicious Oreo Sundae with oreo & vanilla ice cream , oreo biscuits & chocolate sauce. This was a fantastic way to round of the evening. This was a fantastic first visit to the Swan and I would love to return some day. I would highly recommend a visit here especially if your a fan of American style food something as I said you would find it hard to beat once you've been here. As a South African traveling around the UK, it was kind of ironic that I stumbled into this small little restaurant. It did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing or should I say lekker. I had a cup of English breakfast tea and the vegan club sandwich. The artwork in the front of the restaurant is absolutely stunning and is a definite reminder of home. The restaurant was very busy. They have an all day breakfast every Saturday and Sunday. We went there for the Sunday buffet on the August bank holiday weekend. Got there about 1pm. It wasn’t busy at all, but as we were eating a number of people turned up. Talking to the waitress, we were told that Sundays, and the whole weekend in general, is usually very busy. So booking a table in advance is recommended. If you do it through the website you’ll be directed to a third party site. This site ‘warns’ you that that the Sunday buffet ends at 1.30pm. Ignore that! It’s not true. The buffet is served all day Sunday. How it works, is that you’re offered a mixed platter of Peking ribs, spring rolls, deep fried vegetables, crispy seaweed, chicken satay skewers, and prawn toast according to the number of people at the table. Then you get a “tick list” (see photo) where you mark which dishes you’d like to order. So it’s a kind of “a la carte buffet”. We chose Chicken with ginger and spring onion, Crispy chilli beef, Szechuan beef, and Twice cooked pork. What’s our thoughts? Definitely much better than your usual Chinese fast food from ‘down the road’. Yet, perhaps not as good as I had expected. From the mixed platter the giant spring rolls, seaweed, deep fried vegetables ,and the peking ribs were the best. The prawn toast didn’t really taste of prawns, the satay sauce didn’t even have a hint of peanut flavour. From main courses: the Chicken with ginger and spring onion tasted of ordinary chicken soup. The Crispy chilli beef was crispy and tasty but I couldn’t tell if there actually was any beef! There was no “chewiness” in the crispy bites. The Szechuan beef was tender and flavoursome, not overly spicy. I couldn’t see any Szechuan peppers… The Twice cooked pork was also tender and tasty. Dessert is also included - deep fried apple and banana with caramel drizzle and ice cream. Pretty bland, to be honest. Disappointing, as I was looking forward to it. Overall, all the dishes had flavour but there was just that “little something” missing to make it stand out. Also, typical of many buffet meals, it left us both rather thirsty. I think the idea is to make the dishes a bit saltier (or use MSG?) to make you order more drinks and eat less food = more pofit.

Can't believe I haven't been here before and it certainly won't be the last. The pizza is some of the best I've tasted, not greasy, thin base and the best crust! The only thing I personally would of wanted is some sort of dip for the crust (I like to save the crust until the end). Not sure if sauces or even just a tomato based one is available? Like the one used for the pizza base. I had the due forni pizza and it was incredible, a lovely truffle base and the cheese was to die for. Highly recommend a visit. A lovely little restaurant too.

It is a quick and easy process to order from the kiosk and the workers are fast paced ensuring you get your meal ASAP this is what fast food is about!! I have noticed the little details such as the burgers being stacked correctly not like other places such as mcd where they don’t take pride in how they put together a burger. Fries have always been fresh never once been soggy/cold. I had spoken to the workers on couple occasions whom are very friendly and make you feel welcomed, a bit of small conversation really connects you with the customers.
