It’s a good location, right off the QEW. We dined in. The service was prompt, they weren’t too busy. Shani was great. The espresso machine wasn’t working so he upsized the original medium regular latte order to an XL coffee. One of our party was vegetarian so he was very accommodating and let us order a custom veggie sandwich with burger buns. We ordered double double coffees and they tasted great. We also ordered the new McCrispy Spicy Chicken Burger and it was good, not too spicy though. We had a big order and it was prepared in a timely manner. Shani even gave us donuts at a discount. Even though they close at 11 they didn’t rush us as we cut it quite close to closing. The washrooms were clean and so was the restaurant. They have a great sitting space with lots of tables. We used our breakfast vouchers from our inclusive hotel booking and had a delicious late breakfast at the restaurant. Our kind waitress provided a menu with extensive options and everyone was able to order a dish to their preference. The main things that I want to highlight are the incredible woodfired pizzas, the excellent live music which made the atmosphere incredible, and the excellent service, including Winston the Cat and the sheeps. They added enormous vibes to the evening - they were playing super chill tunes, nothing too major or loud which was lovely. Where they weren't playing, the background music was nice as well. The vibe of this location was incredible as well - very quiet little farm/patio vibe. Rustic, but nice. Finally the service. Our server was quick and polite. She also gave us some history on the place, and introduced us to what was arguably the best part of the evening - Winston. Winston is a cat, and he was a total vibe - patiently guarding the door where the servers were coming in and out of. They also had sheep and alpacas - i learned later on that they are actually the ones responsible for ground maintenance, which is excellent. They seemed to do a good job. Sadly, the chickens were all asleep. But I am sure they would have been good too. All in all, good times, good food. Will be returning to HOUSE a pep pizza soon.

Service and server was not the best. 5 people in the restaurant and bar and the server took awhile to get our drink order. Every time we would ask for something it would take her awhile to come back. Service Definitely needs improvement. The meal made up for the lack of service. The food was fresh and hot with a large portions. We ordered the Spinach & goat chesse dip. Ordered extra flatbread ran out and still had dip, mozza sticks, buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and the blondie brownie. We got a platter so we could sample what they have to offer. It consisted of ribs, wings, poutine, Mac n Cheese, beans, cornbread and some pickled onions and cucumber. The platter was $53. The wings were great...a dry rub we would definitely eat these again and enjoyed them. The ribs were fall-off the bone...so cooked tenderly and I would eat them again (my guy wasn't fussy on them or the sauce). The beans were just ok. The poutine came ...but it was just fries, so we had to ask to get the poutine it was supposed to come with. It came to us fairly speedily so the service is great....but the fries....no bueno. They were aggressively seasoned with something I did not care for at all. The seasoning did not pair well with cheese curds and gravy 🤢 and the fries on their own were not enjoyable due to whatever heavy seasoning they put on there. The Mac n cheese had real cheese on top...so that was a win. The cornbread... definitely not recommended. First of all, it was teeny tiny. Secondly, it wasn't flavorful. Third, it had the texture of a brick house. Dense, dense, dense and not at all enjoyable. Our waitress was fun and interactive and the poutine error was fixed quickly so service is a 4. The atmosphere was great and they do things like trivia on Mondays which I thought was fun so that gets a 4* too. We ordered drinks from the bar...the mixed berry sangria was refreshing and beer was beer! All in all, the experience was okay but I'm not sure it was great value for your dollars.

Now this sounds ok, however I havent relayed the attitude. I left the interaction feeling totally unvalued as a customer. I understand young labour is cheap labour, but I did not get the feeling that these two ladies had any connection to this restaurant, they could not care less about my asks. You can take a look at my many reviews on here, I rarely give low scores and do not rant on restaurants. With that said onto the food. The sandwich was great, lots of fish, lots of meat in those two generous pieces, I didnt feel too bad about paying 19 for a sandwich. The fish was freshly fried, not too oily. The "tartar" sauce could use some work its more mayo'y than normal tartar and didnt have any of the chunks of stuff that a normal tartar would have. Also they use a piece of leaf lettuce. Just a tip, with the heat of freshly fried fish it makes the lettuce gummy and disgusting by the time your halfway into the sandwich. The fries looked good, I did have one just to try and it was good, no complaints there. I didnt like that they rest the sandwich on the fries as that adds oil to the bun. The bun was good, the cheese (american) was good too I like american so wasnt an issue for me. Overall I would not return because of the experience with the staff. I would for the food maybe in a couple years when natural turnover happens and theres better staff. and I will be very clear before paying on what I would like.

The storefront is unassuming, but it is a magnificent restaurant. Our server was very kind (young lady who told another table about winning tickets to a concert, sorry I forget your name) was very pleasant and friendly. The only downside is that I wish we could have tried more food but we were so full after splitting a few appetizers (not a bad thing at all).
