You 100% need reservations. I ordered the salmon with crispy quinoa patty and my husband ordered the lamb steak. Both were very good but I was disappointed in the menu description. The crispy quinoa patty wasn't crispy and it resembled more of a vegetarian burger patty with corn and peas in it. I didn't really like it but everything else was good. My husband's came with "potatoes" and it ended up being scalloped potatoes which I would have preferred had I known. We also ordered the antipasti platter which was yummy as was the complimentary baguette. We'll be back but I'll make sure to ask the server to describe the menu in more detail before I order!

Location isn't super obvious and feels tucked away. Neighbours to a tattoo parlour. Kid's menu is top notch, and my boys loved the grilled cheese and burger. I split the mini sampler with my partner to experience as many options as possible. Hot wings were that slow burn, sweet sauce. Hotter than Frank's red hot sauce, not too hot for me. I recommend choosing the dark chicken option, the white breast was on the dry side, but good paired with the pulled pork or extra sauce from the wings or baked beans. Ribs are fall off the bone and easy to split with a butter knife. The beef brisket was a little disappointing - served in too much water. Would have been better on the grilled bun with beans. Pulled pork was the star, I recommend anything with it. Oh, and the mixed green salad was a great light side with lots of dried fruit. Lots of leftovers to take home! The fries were fresh and thick cut.

They meat falls off the bone nicely and the bbq sauce is tasty. The chicken lacks smoke and tastes like regular rotisserie chicken. The overall presentation of the platter is good and there is a lot of food.The wings were good with a nice honey garlic flavor. The caesar salad is fresh and delicious and the fries and bread were very nice. Fat wedges and generous buttery portions respectively. The service is attentive and friendly. The dill potato salad is excellent! But speaks to how everything is nontraditional. If I were to come back, I'd have the ribs with potato salad again with caesar salad and fries. The restaurant was very clean as well. Embers is not a traditional bbq house. So don't expect a Memphis, Texas or Carolina style bbq restaurant.

Many of our dishes came put cold and the bread was solid. We ordered a sirloin steak and asked for it to be medium rare but when It came it it was rock hard but the inside was still some how pinkish. We even confirmed it with the waiter just in case but when we got the food the side was grapes. We didnt even get the dessert we ordered for the kids. I like the cultural design of the establishment. Visiting Corona's was not the worst experience, yet it is not the best either. I hope that next time I come I will have a better time.

It does not have the best sushi, but the food was still great. I had the Unagi Roll and the Tofu Teriyaki. The roll was good with all the ingredients in it complimenting the overall food. This location is part of the Best Western complex, and since we were lodging there we ate at Ricky’s twice. Lots of street parking out front. Was busy-ish, no reservation, seated promptly. Server was courteous and consistently popped by to see to our needs. The restaurant hasn’t changed much over the years but still looks good and is a comfortable place to eat. We ordered the seafood linguini with a Greek salad to start. The salad was fresh, crunchy and so delicious, as well as a really good portion. The linguini came with two pieces of fresh but crispy garlic toast and a mountain of shrimp, prawn and scallops. Lovely creamy sauce and the pasta was just right. Neither one of us finished it as it was a large portion, so leftovers for lunch tomorrow, yum. The only thing I will say, is the prices seem to have really crept up. While I didn’t feel taken advantage of, I didn’t feel like “what a great deal”. Having said that, we did take both entree leftovers home. It’s delicious food, it’s good service and a decent value. The Greek side of the menu is small, and they do serve everything from burgers to bbq. They have a kids and seniors section too. A great family restaurant that still won’t break the bank.

Providing options for everyone in the family. The breakfast was super delicious right down to the cubed hash browns (available on weekends only, otherwise it's shredded style). Good grief! & there was ZERO chicken in mine. The only way she'd replace it is if I drove back to restaurant with rice.... We live in a world where u better do right by your customers, especially returning ones. This restaurant's owner (female especially) do not like being told they have made mistake. They get VERY defensive & that is NOT good business manners at all, especially in this day & age when there's so much competition out there & so many choices. 🙄 Ordered chicken chow mein & there was literally maybe 5-6 small pieces throughout whole order. Also VERY oily. When I called to address issue, the cook came on phone & was very aggressive with me. Not exactly how u should be treating paying customers. We ordered the seafood combo with cod as well as the clam chowder bowl. Since they ran out of oysters for the seafood combo, we received a shrimp and a scallop instead. The chowder bowl was a bit thin and would’ve enjoyed it more if there were more seafood inside, but it did come with a roll and two butter. At the end, eating this felt like it was too oily and I can really taste the oil flavour, but overall, it was good and worth a visit if you’re looking for English style fish and chips. Their takeout specials are very reasonably priced. I don’t think the eight pieces scallop and chips would be enough to fill up a person because the scallops were the size of a quarter and you’d be eating mostly chips.
