Ordered shakshuka baked eggs as it’s recommended by the waiter, nothing fancy, eggs in a traditional middle eastern tomato stew, has mushroom, eggplant and zucchini (I think), crumbled feta, mozzarella and Turkish bread. We love Thai food and like the food here better than in Thailand! It’s our favourite Thai in the area (and also like the Laverton one). The service and the atmosphere is great. Feels fancy enough for a celebration dinner in the local area but isn’t overpriced like most city joints. The food is always very filling and we seem to accidentally over order as the servings are very calorically dense. We usually enjoy the Pad Thai, Green Chicken Curry, Massaman Curry and Pad See Ew. Last time we went we tried the Set Menu as we were told this was great value… and it certainly was! It was so cheap for the amount of food you get, with great variety and quality. At a quick glance I couldn’t see what was causing it and thought it was just a bad tasting avocado or something. There were some pieces of half brown lettuce which I was willing to pick out and overlook, but as I removed them from the wrap I found completely brown, disintegrating rotten pieces wrapped up inside. I also believe I ate the majority of the rotten lettuce in the first half of the wrap while trying to figure out why it tasted like slimy seaweedy spinach. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with Schnitz serving old, browning lettuce, but this is definitely the first time I’ve ever been sold something that should not be consumed at all. Food was ok but I have massive issues with the lack of service. Front of house staff are all very young kids with no idea how to serve customers. The manager/owner of this place really needs to train staff on what to do to look after customers. Even the simple fact of clearing the table of glasses and empty plates and bowls. They also have no clue how to make a mixed drink (vodka, Soda & lime). Omg, it’s not difficult! Also they don’t have some beers in stock or some soft drinks. Last time we were in Werribee, we walked past and made a mental note to come back and try the food. It was pretty much tastless seafood, noodles and sprouts in hot water. That summed it up. Some of the best Pho I've tasted was served in a flavoursome "broth". Not plain old hot water like on this occassion. The Pad Thai was nice enough. Not great, but not bad either, just average. The coffee was nice enough and I would recommend trying Vietnamese ice and hot coffee to anyone who's looking for something different. We left around 1pm and there was only four other diners in the place. Maybe that says something? They need to improve their Pho, as well as decide what clientele they're targeting. If it's the older generation with money, then they're way off the mark.

I watched her as she served each table with so much enthusiasm and genuine happiness. Her hospitality let me leave the restaurant feeling happy. No matter the ethnicity of anyone she served she gave everyone the same amount of attention, same smile and just seemed like she genuinely genuinely cared! You rarely ever see service like this these days. I know not many people care to leave reviews but I feel confident enough to speak on everyone that has had the honour of having her present during their visit to say they were satisfied with the service. Food was amazing too but sam was just better! I ordered a beef slider and zucchini fries Tuesday 1pm :) hope sam sees this. You’re aura and vibe are unmatched.
