Saw a deer on two occasions. Unfortunately two days ago walked with a friend and she found seven ticks on her after we left. I hadn’t read the reviews before and didn’t realize the amount of tick warnings in the reviews. The ticks are deer ticks, the kind that carry Lyme so be aware. We had walked through the meadows loop and the grass trail was long so we think she picked them up there because she had a few on her sneakers. I’m not sure if I’ll go through the trail again. There should be prominent warnings like the signs for aggressive coyotes. I think the ticks are a much worse risk and the park should look into some sort of natural assistance to reduce the risk. Its ruined the experience for me and I don’t think I’ll return. Which is a shame because it’s a beautiful unique trail system.

Thought I made it out scott-free until I got home and found two on my socks and one bit me on its way out. The coyotes were cool though. I didn't see them, but when I was near the exit I heard them reacting to a siren like wolves and dogs do in movies so there's at least 1 family there. It is a very beautiful trail with very unique geography and wildlife so I'm sad I didn't get to explore more of it but it's gonna be a couple years before I even think about coming back here.

It's quite a flat calm trail making it very family friendly, such that you could take your young kids with you and maybe even a stroller with large wheels. Lots of steep climbs at some points and because it rained, parts of the trail were quite slippery but overall it was a lovely hike which took us about 2 hours out and back. As well as a couple other nice waterfalls id recommend you checking out especially if you love them as much as I do. This one didn't have no big heavy flow but still was a nice quick stop. If I had more time in the area I for sure would have looked for other areas to get better pictures but this was just a pit stop on our way to Niagara Falls.

I really like this waterfall just wish it was a little easier to get down to the bottom of the falls being we were just stopping here on our way Niagara Falls so we didn't have a ton of time for a big detour. Still was worth the quick stop to see things from the upper part of the falls though.

Such a nice area in Dundas and this area seems to be forgotten. Perfect views of the falls from the viewing platform and idea area for photographs. We enjoyed walking the trails and fall colors. Our pup followed along and the area was very quiet with only a dozen or so people along the trails. Parking lot is kind of small but we only waited 5 minutes for a spot. The cost for parking was three dollars for an hour and plenty of time to walk around but really no worries of ticketing. Would definitely recommend this area to anyone that enjoys hiking, walking, views of fall colors and water falls.

Great for runners, biking, long walks & birdwatching! Took the Go Train to go here and the transit was smooth. The trail starts right near the Go Train parking lot and you pass the park, which leads to the paved trail. The paved trail is pretty damn long, around 3ish kms? It then leads to the rugged trail paths and wetlands. It was a pretty peaceful place especially when you hit the rugged trails. The only downside to it is that the tracker ride is not organized and even if you wait 20mins and right at the front there’s a huge chance you will not get on unless you push you’re way through witch of course is not the answer.
