Heritage Square, situated in downtown Oxnard, is a meticulously preserved historic area showcasing Victorian-era buildings dating back to 1876-1912. Saved from demolition and restored, the square now houses boutique shops, art galleries, and various dining options. Despite its name, Heritage Square isn't exactly a square but rather a cluster of historical buildings offering docent-led tours where visitors can immerse themselves in the area's rich history while admiring the period costumes worn by guides.
We attended the Emerald Soiree, a really fun event hosted by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. The beautiful buildings at the square set the perfect scene for the Regency era themed gala.

Many historic houses moved to this one area. All are being rented to businesses so you can only see the exteriors. Tours are available if you email then ahead to set it up. Free parking.

I had the opportunity to shoot a beautiful August wedding at Heritage Square, and it was an absolute dream. The little chapel was a gorgeous setting for the ceremony, the square itself was a perfect backdrop for the reception, and the garden surroundings created some stunning portraits! The style of the buildings in the square make it feel like you're living your own fairytale wedding day! I would highly recommend this venue, especially for summer brides looking for a outstanding experience!

This is a beautiful spot to spend an hour or a day exploring Victorian architecture and interesting local and national history. A comfy coffee shop with sandwiches and pastries, as well as a beautiful restaurant with a warm, inviting speakeasy in the basement, provide the perfect additions to the tour. Very artistic and high quality tees, puzzles, pins, etc at graphic artist shop I cannot find the name of online. Thanks for an amazing tour Gary!

We didn't take a guided tour, just picked up a bus and get there. It's great to find such a small, climatic place in the middle of the town, where you can sit down next to the fountain and take nice pictures.

Specialty Museums
Located in the Channel Islands Harbor, the Channel Islands Maritime Museum is a cultural and scenic gem that focuses on maritime history, culture, and art. Visitors can explore world-class maritime art dating back to 1622, antique sailing ship models from the 18th and 19th centuries, and the extensive works of master modeler Ed Marple. The museum also offers an ever-changing calendar of exhibits.
Incredibly impressive maritime museum with some of the most detailed sailing ships in the world along with original portraits from the Dutch masters of the 17th and 18th centuries. If you love museums, maritime history, or a gorgeous location on the water with sea lions galore, this museum is worth your day. Great gift shop as well!
Paul F — Google review
A really fantastic museum. Klaus provided a really interesting and informative tour! If you have an hour or so, please give this your time. It was well worth the visit!
Tanner P — Google review
I visited Channel Islands Maritime Museum on 9/27/25 and had a great experience. There is a ton of amazing artwork and models of ships from our history. We were given a free tour from Earl and he is what made this experience so great, he is full of knowledge on every display he showed us as well had a few personal stories that related to the displays. I would recommend Channel Islands Maritime Museum to everyone, you do not need to be into sailing and ships to enjoy this museum. Shoutout to Earl! 😁
Jack S — Google review
The staff and the place are both incredibly nice! It's a wonderful location to delve deeper into the fascinating world of sailing history and to cultivate an appreciation for the arts. And to top it all off, there's even a breathtaking view of sea lions at the back of the building, and they are simply adorable!

Mr. Kushner a museum volunteer gave us a personal tour of the museum. He was careful to explain the model ships and paintings with such detail and nuance. My 6 year old son Jake later said Mr. Kushners tour was a highlight of the California trip.
David G — Google review
Wow! What a gem of a place! Make the time to get into see this amazing collection of paintings and ship models. Such an extraordinary opportunity to see this history with a knowledgeable staff. Vivian walked us through the tour and made it so engaging and loved seeing her favorite pieces along with a fun hunt to answer the questions on pieces. The details on these models will take your breath away. The paintings are striking. Just a wonderful place!
Steph S — Google review
Loved our experience at the Maritime Museum! The staff are friendly and welcoming, they offer to tour you around or let you peruse on your own. When we had a question about the model ships, Mary was very knowledgeable and informative. Downstairs is various paintings and models, upstairs is more informative and hosts art exhibits. I highly recommend this cute spot to know more of the history and appreciate the artwork from the past! (And do ask the staff questions, they love sharing facts and history!)
Lianna D — Google review
Some of the best volunteers, friendly, very knowledgeable. Vast knowledge on the beautiful exhibits they have there. Lots of beautiful paintings. Was pleasantly surprised at how much beautiful art they have. Went for my birthday and was very happy and it made my birthday great and my week even better. A great place I'll be back enjoying again soon

Oxnard State Beach Park is a beloved destination in Oxnard, offering a wide stretch of sandy beach lined with picturesque palm trees and rolling dunes. The park features picnic areas, grassy lawns, and paved trails that lead to the Oxnard State Park. Families with children can enjoy the playful sea-themed playgrounds adorned with giant sculptures of marine creatures. This vibrant coastal area attracts surfers, sunbathers, and those seeking breathtaking sunset views.
Oxnard Beach State Park is truly a slice of coastal paradise. Nestled between Ventura and Malibu, this park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, with its wide sandy beaches, lush greenery, and tranquil ocean views. From the moment you arrive, you feel a sense of calm as the cool sea breeze greets you and the sound of waves gently crashing fills the air. The park is perfect for a relaxing day outdoors, whether you’re strolling along the well-maintained pathways, enjoying a picnic with friends and family, or simply sitting on one of the benches to take in the breathtaking views of the Pacific. The sand dunes and ice plant-covered landscapes create a beautiful, natural backdrop that makes every moment feel like a postcard. What makes Oxnard Beach truly special is how uncrowded and peaceful it is. You can walk for miles along the beach, with palm trees swaying overhead, and not feel overwhelmed by crowds. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or solo adventurers looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The sunsets here are magical—watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting hues of gold and orange over the water, is an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re biking, jogging, flying kites, or just enjoying a peaceful walk, Oxnard Beach State Park offers something for everyone. It’s a hidden gem along the coast, where the beauty of California’s beaches can be enjoyed in a quiet and relaxed setting. I highly recommend visiting this magical place—you’ll leave feeling refreshed, recharged, and connected to the natural world.

This beach was not bad at all, very wide and lots of space in the shore. they have a big parking lot as well as parking on the street, only thing that sucked was they didn’t have any restrooms or showers to rinse off, other than that it was cool 😎

We followed a small walking trail to the beach. It Has a nice parking lot. No one was here. Ocean wave is calming. First time got and learn about beach tar..

This place is always so chill and love it! Not really a place to collect big sea shells and there's a lot of wood debris. Other then that this place once you find a set spot you can fall asleep all day here.

Its a nice beach with strong waves,i went to this beach Saturday morning. i noticed if you walk up and down the beach you will find dead seals, and dolphins. Be careful when you walk over the sand because there is dry oil.
Geovanni R — Google review
Lovely beach with sand dunes, year round great weather and the amazing California coast water. Check local news for any do not swim hazards, and water quality. Enjoy the beach, for those with melanin deficiencies, remember that the sun is a deadly laser and you are advised to bring sunblock. Please choose an SPF rating that is suitable for your individual melanin deficiency. Handy tip; Red hair = low melanin levels so higher SPF ratings.

Great beach. Came here on a Sunday morning to have a picnic with family. Not too busy in the morning and afternoon. Played some volleyball as they provide the net at the beach. The restroom was hard to find but the restaurant next to the beach has public restrooms you can use and they are clean. No lifeguard on duty. Nice place to also walk by the seashore.

Harbor

Piers & Boardwalks
Channel Islands Harbor is situated on the picturesque coast of Oxnard, California and offers a variety of activities for visitors seeking both relaxation and adventure. It's a popular destination in Oxnard, with opportunities for kayaking, paddle boarding, diving, fishing charters, and whale-watching during migration seasons. The harbor boasts stunning views and a pleasant pathway along the water's edge. Additionally, there are several good restaurants nearby where visitors can enjoy delicious meals after their waterfront adventures.
Addictive outlet to disconnect and relish the fresh air. There are multiple channels to traverse by water or land. Popular destination for all vessels, especially paddling through the channel. Pleasurable walks or bike riding is a welcoming pastime for those that enjoy the outdoors. There is a weekly Sunday Farmers Market, and other activities throughout the year (4th of July Parade with Fireworks, Christmas Parade of Lights with Fireworks, multiple cars shows, music Concerts by the Sea, Steph’s Rockin Roadshow playing on the water for Labor Day, etc.). It still has that relatively small feeling, which hopefully never becomes commercialized. There are a couple really good restaurants and bars to take in the scenery. Back in the day, it was a place for celebs to retreat from society and the studios for a mini vacay, but fortunately now, it’s just a place for all to enjoy.

Great restaurants, places to walk and bike, local food trucks and more!

This is a perfect place to walk, run, or bike. The pathways along the harbor have you engaged with boats and great looking landscapes along the way...occasionally you'll see some sea animals.

Marcia C — Google review
This is the access point to a 20,000,000 acre backyard. Paddle board, kayak, fish, swim, surf, hike, or anything you like to do around water. The crowds are very manageable in spite of the awesome location. On Sunday they have a farmers market that can get busy but the incredible local strawberries are worth it. The ocean is filled with sea life as well. the pic is of a harbor seal that couldn't stay off of my SUP . I'd scare him off and a minute later he'd hop right back up and in a few seconds back to sleep he went. Great place to visit for sure. Hotels, restaurants are plenty and it is a great break from the LA crowd and heat.

One of my favorite places in Ventura county. Plenty of parking, good restaurants and cafes. It's an excellent option for walking or hanging out with kids (riding a scooter or walking). Additionally, the farmers market on Sundays mornings are amazing and highly recommend.

Event venue
The Mullin Automotive Museum, founded by car enthusiast Peter W. Mullin, is a must-visit for any car lover. The museum showcases classic cars from the early 20th century with a focus on French Art Deco models from the 1920s and 1930s. Visitors can explore static and revolving exhibits of these culturally significant vehicles as well as supporting memorabilia such as photographs and antiques.
Stunning, gorgeous collection celebrating the beauty of the French automobile. Save this museum for last. It's beautiful! The collection is also surprisingly large. Though the admission is $40, it includes a semiprivate tour, and is very much worth it! The docents were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a lot of very interesting information. They were able to answer some pretty obscure questions with very competent knowledge. The only other museum I saw that can compare was a private collection that's not available to the general public. If you enjoy art and beauty, it doesn't get any better than this!

Exquisite Museum showcasing Elegant cars with curves. The shine & finish on these art deco styled cars is like fine jewelry. Beautiful Bugatti Automobiles & Lalique crystal hood ornaments. Art objects & furniture in the room upstairs. Our docent Jackson was a great guide to give us the history of the cars & Mr Mullin, the collector. It was an exceptional afternoon filled with eye candy. Much Thanks to the museum for the collection & hospitality.
Zeda S — Google review
If your thing is classic Bugattis this is the place to go for everything about the manufacturer, furniture, backyard finds, models cars and more. Other manufacturer models are displayed but not the main focus. Learned a few things, especially since the curators were so friendly and helpful.
Mario M — Google review
Awesome one of a kind collection presented in a perfect environment. No lines, one on one background stories of each vehicle by experienced personnel. Extraordinary collection gifting people a step back into an era of automotive art history not to be rivaled. Mr Mullins' passion lives on even after his passing.
Robert — Google review
Easily in the top three best automotive museums in all of Los Angeles or even Southern California. The Peterson on Miracle Mile, Nethercutt in Santa Paula, and The Mullin are by far the best automotive museums you can go to. They specialize in Bugatti but also have a ton of other historical and unique cars you got to see. It is extremely well organized and very clean and you can tell there was a lot of effort and time spent on the design and layout. Also the staff was very polite and it is not nearly as crowded as the other two museums I mentioned. If you’re a fan of anything automotive, engineering, engines, or history you have to check this place out. I drove from West LA for it and I was glad I did so.
Zan L — Google review
Wonderful museum with beautiful cars and friendly, well informed volunteers. We spent a decent amount of time speaking with Mr. Murphy who was well informed and very nice. And funny enough they had the prettiest bathrooms I've ever seen!
Amy M — Google review
Truly an amazing collection of automobiles. One of the finest I've ever visited. Plenty of staff with specific knowledge to share the many individual stories that go with each car in the collection.
Larry B — Google review
A wonderful hidden gem. Beautiful French automobiles from PreWWII and gorgeous Art Deco furnishings. A well appointed museum that was a joy to wander through. Will definitely be back. This should be added to everyone’s ‘must-do’ list when visiting Ventura!

The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and Mexican cuisine, offering a diverse menu that includes shrimp and octopus cocktails, garlic shrimp with beans and rice, whole fried red snapper, enchiladas suizas, fish tacos, and chocolate flan.
e been coming to this place for many years , this is my favorite spot ! There Micheladas are amazing, food is great, I usually get the quezo fundido , my husband gets the shrimp cocktail . All the food & drinks there is amazing , you can’t go wrong . There are days when mariachi comes by and they play music . It’s a fun atmosphere!!

Pretty authentic. Gush tacos were very good. Clean, good menu, good service, worth a visit.
Bruce R — Google review
I visited this restaurant in the evening of 11/2/25. It was my first time visiting and its going to be my last. I ordered the breaded shrimp plate ($21 for 6 small breaded shrimp, a spoonful of white rice, some 3/4 of the way steamed vegetables, lettuce and dices tomatoes). My order apparently was forgotten and was finally served when my party was half way thru their meal. The food wasn't really good. Most of it was bland, not too much flavor. Even the horchata I got to drink wasnt really good as well as the flan my family ordered. Somebody in my party ordered fish tacos and ended feeling bad and almost fainted afterwards. 911 had to be called and was driven to the hospital. The staff were helpful with calling 911 and helping in what they could with the person who wasn't feeling well. But other than that, I wouldn't recommend this place or return.

This is my go to spot for menudo. Great service, clean restaurant and a great way to start a Sunday!
Sandra B — Google review
We were here with a bunch of friends and I was full from the chips and salsas that they keep replenishing. I got the combination plate - got one chile relleno, one chicken enchilada and one taco al pastor which came with rice and beans. Everything was flavorful and yummy but couldn't finish because I loaded up on chips and salsas! The guac made table side was good too but oh so pricey!

We had a great time at Cabo's on our Anniversary Day. We both wanted to try it after a few recommendations and the fact that I used to work in that building in the late 70s when it was a Sizzler Steak House Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was awesome. We had appetizers as well as our meal and ended it with dessert. They all came out in a timely manner. I would go again!

Kosher restaurant
Tierra Sur at Herzog Wine Cellars offers an elegant dining experience with a terrace, serving kosher New American cuisine. The restaurant's prix fixe menu allows diners to create a delightful four-course meal featuring farm-to-table dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients from local purveyors. The chef's attention to detail and presentation is evident in each course, making for a stunning culinary experience.
Location very nice. Our host, Sam, was very friendly and explained everything, gave us good recommendations and was there when needed. The Food was perfection. The kitchen crew lead by Chef Austin did an amazing job. It probably the best kosher restaurant i've been to.
Samuel F — Google review
Amazing place in Middle Oxnard in the winery itself. Very nice building and place with parking. Right off the freeway. After a nice refreshing salad to start the meal. We ordered the 40 oz. Prime rib which was amazing but too salty, but still we ate it all. They were so nice that they gave us dessert and coffee on the house and a peak into the winery. Definitely coming there again. Staff is great and very accommodating and nice.
Tzvika G — Google review
This isn’t our first time dining at Tierra Sur, and it definitely won’t be our last. The food and service are consistently excellent. We started with the potato soup, which was rich and flavorful. For the second course, we tried the seabass tostada and the stuffed carpaccio—both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. For the third course, we had the ribeye, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Every dish feels carefully crafted, with fresh ingredients and a lot of attention to detail. The staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Tierra Sur is one of those rare places where you know you’ll always get a great meal.
David G — Google review
The wine tasting was a great start to the evening with a variety of wine options. We purchased multiple bottles of delicious wine. Moving on to the Tierra Sur restaurant provided delicious meals supporting multiple dietary restrictions. The wine pairings with each dish were thoughtful and highlighted the flavors of each dish.
Jonell S — Google review
We visited today and unfortunately a lot of the menu items weren’t available, and due to my peanut allergy I was even more limited since most of what was left was fried in peanut oil. While that was disappointing, our experience was saved by our server, Kayly, who went above and beyond to make sure we still had a great time. She was friendly, attentive, and even treated us to some wonderful wine tastings, which really elevated our visit. Kayly is a true asset to the restaurant, and we greatly appreciated her outstanding service.
Shlomo J — Google review
The restaurant is beautiful, and it’s nice to have such a lovely kosher place. However, unlike most of the reviews I read, our experience was disappointing. The prices are extremely high and do not justify the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the food itself was not enjoyable. I went with my three children, and not only did they not like the dishes, but there were even some items we couldn’t eat at all. Despite the long drive, the kids were hoping for a special experience, but it turned out to be simply terrible. The presentation was not particularly impressive either the same cherry sauce was used to decorate almost everything. At this price point, I would have expected something far more refined and memorable.
Talia — Google review
Traveling around the world and eating in many amazing restaurants rarely has me as surprised by how good Tierra Sur is! As a restaurant in a uncommon place for kosher restaurants it stands out in more than just exclusivity. From the 5 star service to the Exquisite taste ,everything was impeccable. Although the pictures attached are quite amazing, they do not do it justice of what it feels like to experience it in person. I cannot wait for my next trip back to Oxnard!

Brazilian restaurant
Moqueca Brazilian Cuisine is a delightful traditional eatery that brings the vibrant flavors of Brazil to Oxnard, California. Renowned for its signature dish, moqueca Capixaba, this restaurant serves up an authentic experience with seafood prepared in a charming clay pot. Guests can indulge in a variety of delectable seafood options, including fish and lobster, all complemented by their famous Brazilian fish gravy.
We had a nice dinner here during our stay in 0xnard. The food was flavorful & our server was very nice! For appetizers, the beef empanadas were really great! We also got the Coxinhas which are a potato puff stuffed with a chicken mixture. I thought they were just ok, not as flavorful as the empanadas. For dinner, we got the Bolagnase which was pretty good and the large shrimp Moquacas. The Moquacas were delicious, hot and a bit spicy and very flavorful. My only complaint is not enough rice was served with it. Rice is super cheap, give more as there is so much sauce, it needs more rice please! We got the flan as desert. It was perfectly caramelized and great flavor. For $14 though it was too small. Definitely check this place out if you're visiting Oxnard.
Vanessa S — Google review
The food was pretty dang decent, but like others pointed out, the drinks were watery at best. We tried two different cocktail and while the flavor was good, they were definitely weak. It might be good to return and sample some of the other foods, but skip the drinks next time.

The best seafood restaurant I’ve ever been to! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was amazing, with great live music that made the evening even more special. The appetizers were authentic and full of the true flavors of Brazil. So fresh and tasty!! Moqueca really brings the taste of Brazil to life, and I can’t wait to come back!
ELS — Google review
Nice view. Very good food, . . . except. The drinks were very weak or watered down and flavorless, and there was not enough pasta in the seafood linguini (maybe that’s a good thing???). I quite literally ran out of pasta before the seafood by a long shot. I had an espresso martini that didn’t taste like coffee at all, and there was very weak or little vodka. It tasted more like a cold hot chocolate. The other specialty drink from the menu (I don’t know which one was ordered ) was also weak and watered down. We didn’t complain because our server was very nice. Needless to say, our next drinks were beer and wine. The music was nice and came from some Yamaha speakers that I have other experience with. A good sounding system. Our server was very thorough and on top of her game. Subtleties in her performance were noted by me as being rather refined. I don’t remember her name, but she was very good. Yes, the hot chili oil is outstanding. Dicks

Wife loved the feijoada, meat skewers were delicious . The location was great and we enjoyed being able to watch the harbor. The only downside is maybe it was a little pricey for what we got. But again it was delicious and reminded my wife of her time in Brazil.

We had a wonderful dinner at Moqueca! The view is a perfect 10, the environment is warm and inviting, and the caipirinhas were spot on. The food was absolutely delicious: full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I came specifically for the sea bass and shrimp moqueca, but our order came out with just the sea bass. Even though it wasn’t exactly what I had asked for, it was so tasty that I didn’t mind. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, although she did mix up the flavor of my caipirinha as well. Despite those small details, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely come back!
Nathielle R — Google review
Moqueca was amazing. The food was on point and service was great. Would highly recommend the Brazilian beef stroganoff. We also got the fish moqueca and that was delicious. As someone with shellfish allergies, I was able to find delicious food and I believe there was no cross contamination since each dish is made individually.
Rebecca J — Google review
We came to this restaurant with a simple goal: to celebrate a family member’s birthday with a nice meal. Unfortunately, what we experienced instead was one of the most disappointing and frustrating dining experiences we’ve ever had. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty—with only two or three other tables seated—our food never arrived. We waited for over two hours, politely checking in with staff multiple times, only to eventually be told that our order had never been put in. No explanation, no urgency—just repeated reassurances that turned out to mean nothing. We had informed the staff early on that we were on a schedule due to a boat tour later that evening. As the time passed and our plans fell apart, it became clear that no one was taking our concerns seriously. When we asked for the food to be packed to-go, the restaurant initially agreed and offered to comp the meals as an apology for the delay and oversight. But after another 15-minute wait, someone returned to inform us they had changed their minds and we would now need to pay for the food that we had never received. The complete lack of accountability was shocking. When we calmly expressed our frustration, we were told that we “needed to be more patient.” This was not a case of a busy kitchen or unexpected crowd—it was a nearly empty restaurant, and the issue was entirely due to disorganization and poor communication. This experience ruined what was supposed to be a meaningful celebration. The staff appeared unprepared, overwhelmed, and out of touch with even the most basic standards of service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
Dominick's Italian Restaurant is a family-owned establishment that has been serving Oxnard since 1949. It offers a variety of classic Italian dishes such as penne in creamy tomato sauce, ravioli, chicken cacciatore, manicotti, pizza, and calzones. The menu caters to both meat lovers and vegetarians with its diverse selection. In addition to the delicious food, customers can also purchase homemade bread to take home.
As someone whose least favorite food is Italian, let me tell you this place is the exception! It's the only Italian place you'll ever see me at (and I've tried others in Ventura county) and the only place I ever suggest or recommend for Italian. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the manicotti is my favorite! The atmosphere is versatile; we can come here and feel comfortable in casual clothing for a fun night out or for date night and special occasions. Pictured is their cheesy bread, manicotti, and eggplant parmigiana (which comes with a side of spaghetti apparently!) and Mudd pie (which is giant)

First time visit on a Sunday around 5pm and it was a nice time to arrive. There’s parking behind the building & plenty of seating inside. The food was delicious! Mood lighting for a romantic dinner if you would like to take a date there. My husband and I got two appetizers, one entrée to share, the dessert cheesecake, a side salad and two club sodas- We spent around $80. It was a nice, clean restaurant.

Dinner was awful. My lasagna was dry barley red sauceno flavor . What was crazy our server never came to out table once only to bring our food at that wasn't friendly. I noticed on our recipient we were charged 59.00 for tip 😳. Keep in my my waitress didn't come back to our table. I will not recommend this place. Olive garden was much better!

We got salads, pizza, manicotti and shrimp scampi. Everything was good. Nice wine selection. The area was not the nicest and kinda hard to park but was a good meal. Will return.

The antipasto salad and meatballs were fantastic. We were a little disappointed with our Shrimp Scampi. The shrimp was way overcooked and rubbery, and the entire dish was cool. Plates they brought for us to share the Scampi on were also cold. Our 2 previous Scampi dinners were excellent. I didn't get our server's name tonight, but she was excellent.

This review is best told by copying the text messages my husband and I were constantly sending to our family chat all throughout our meal.🤩😆 "Can't help myself from repeatedly texting you guys. It's sooo good. Best bleu cheese dressing I've ever had." "Unintentionally hip, the best kind. 🥰" "The pizza! Perfectly thin w crisp edges. The sauce is perfect, not to tart, a wee-bit sweet, thick but not overly saucy. The ingredients are so fresh and delicious." "And now, le pièce de résistance ... the cannoli ... just omg." "We'll have to do a bday dinner here some time." "I swear I thought I was going to see Lady and Tramp sharing a plate of spaghetti in the alley when we walked out 🤣"

Excellent old school Italian food in an interesting setting. Very industrial decor, but comfortable and homey at the same time. The tomato sauce is a primary criteria for any Italian restaurant, and Dominick's does not disappoint. The sauce has a delicious homemade taste, with no trace of bitterness. Wonderful. The eggplant parmesan was done with both mozzarella and ricotta, which was delicious, and the meatballs were excellent as well. We'll definitely go back again to try other dishes. Parking is in the back.

Anaba Sushi delivers a fresh, flavorful sushi experience with a cozy, laid-back vibe that keeps you coming back. The sushi is consistently well-made—rice seasoned just right, and the fish is always fresh. I especially enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and their salmon nigiri; each bite felt elevated without being over the top. The atmosphere is intimate and unpretentious, with warm lighting and a friendly buzz. Service was attentive and knowledgeable—I appreciated that the staff took time to explain specials and recommend pairings. Why not a perfect five? A few menu items felt a bit predictable, and prices were on the upper side—though not outrageous for the quality. Also, it got a touch noisy toward the end of dinner, so it’s better for early evenings or a mellow catch-up. Overall, Anaba is a dependable choice for sushi lovers who want quality and comfort in one place. I’ll definitely return for those standout rolls.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time, we have only ever gotten to-go before. It was a wonderful dining experience. The sushi was incredible, so tender and fresh. The service was great and so attentive. We felt really welcomed by the staff. We split the Crabby Heart Attack and I ordered Sushi Combo C. The Crabby Heart Attack was an explosion of flavor and so filling. The salad and miso soup that came with Sushi Combo C were great and all of the nigiri was unbelievably tasty. We also ordered the Fresh Wasabi which was such a wonderful addition to every bite. I will definitely be ordering the fresh wasabi everytime from now on. The vibe was great, lots of people for a Thursday night, lots of regulars who were chatting at the bar and being super familiar with the staff. Parking is easy, there is a big shared lot. When you are waiting for a table there are about 3 chairs outside.

Some of the best sushi I have ever had! Fresh and nice slices. Beautifully arranged. We were there for lunch and they didn't have the lights on inside. Even on a sunny day, we could've used some lighting to read the menu!

Stopped in and right off the bat it had a really nice atmosphere, the also have a view of the water by the end of the restaurant but tables there are always picked first so I sat somewhere else, has a pretty chill vibe, service was really great! Checked on us a few times, and the food selection was huge, so I got a spicy ahi tempura roll, and it was a great portion and very delicious, I’ll definitely come back to try other rolls
