I visited this restaurant in the evening of 11/2/25. It was my first time visiting and its going to be my last. I ordered the breaded shrimp plate ($21 for 6 small breaded shrimp, a spoonful of white rice, some 3/4 of the way steamed vegetables, lettuce and dices tomatoes). My order apparently was forgotten and was finally served when my party was half way thru their meal. The food wasn't really good. Most of it was bland, not too much flavor. Even the horchata I got to drink wasnt really good as well as the flan my family ordered. Somebody in my party ordered fish tacos and ended feeling bad and almost fainted afterwards. 911 had to be called and was driven to the hospital. The staff were helpful with calling 911 and helping in what they could with the person who wasn't feeling well. But other than that, I wouldn't recommend this place or return.

This is my go to spot for menudo. Great service, clean restaurant and a great way to start a Sunday!

We were here with a bunch of friends and I was full from the chips and salsas that they keep replenishing. I got the combination plate - got one chile relleno, one chicken enchilada and one taco al pastor which came with rice and beans. Everything was flavorful and yummy but couldn't finish because I loaded up on chips and salsas! The guac made table side was good too but oh so pricey!

We had a great time at Cabo's on our Anniversary Day. We both wanted to try it after a few recommendations and the fact that I used to work in that building in the late 70s when it was a Sizzler Steak House Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was awesome. We had appetizers as well as our meal and ended it with dessert. They all came out in a timely manner. I would go again!

Esmeralda is the best server, My Mom and I love coming here. My Mom loves her chicken taco, and I like exploring the menu Everytime I go in. Esmeralda always treats us great. Definitely recommend this place.

I dined at Cabo 20 years ago. While visiting the area, recently, I went back. The food and drinks were every bit as good as it was 20 years ago. You can't go wrong going here.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time, we have only ever gotten to-go before. It was a wonderful dining experience. The sushi was incredible, so tender and fresh. The service was great and so attentive. We felt really welcomed by the staff. We split the Crabby Heart Attack and I ordered Sushi Combo C. The Crabby Heart Attack was an explosion of flavor and so filling. The salad and miso soup that came with Sushi Combo C were great and all of the nigiri was unbelievably tasty. We also ordered the Fresh Wasabi which was such a wonderful addition to every bite. I will definitely be ordering the fresh wasabi everytime from now on. The vibe was great, lots of people for a Thursday night, lots of regulars who were chatting at the bar and being super familiar with the staff. Parking is easy, there is a big shared lot. When you are waiting for a table there are about 3 chairs outside.

Some of the best sushi I have ever had! Fresh and nice slices. Beautifully arranged. We were there for lunch and they didn't have the lights on inside. Even on a sunny day, we could've used some lighting to read the menu!

Stopped in and right off the bat it had a really nice atmosphere, the also have a view of the water by the end of the restaurant but tables there are always picked first so I sat somewhere else, has a pretty chill vibe, service was really great! Checked on us a few times, and the food selection was huge, so I got a spicy ahi tempura roll, and it was a great portion and very delicious, I’ll definitely come back to try other rolls

Dominick’s Italian Restaurant is fantastic! The pizza was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Sean was great to work with—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality Italian food and excellent service. Will definitely be back!

First time visit on a Sunday around 5pm and it was a nice time to arrive. There’s parking behind the building & plenty of seating inside. The food was delicious! Mood lighting for a romantic dinner if you would like to take a date there. My husband and I got two appetizers, one entrée to share, the dessert cheesecake, a side salad and two club sodas- We spent around $80. It was a nice, clean restaurant.

Dinner was awful. My lasagna was dry barley red sauceno flavor . What was crazy our server never came to out table once only to bring our food at that wasn't friendly. I noticed on our recipient we were charged 59.00 for tip 😳. Keep in my my waitress didn't come back to our table. I will not recommend this place. Olive garden was much better!

Great food. Hidden gem. Went with family. Reasonably priced. Decent portions. Great homemade bread. You can buy the bread to take home. The food was hot and good. We got salads, pizza, manicotti and shrimp scampi. Everything was good. Nice wine selection. The area was not the nicest and kinda hard to park but was a good meal. Will return.

The antipasto salad and meatballs were fantastic. We were a little disappointed with our Shrimp Scampi. The shrimp was way overcooked and rubbery, and the entire dish was cool. Plates they brought for us to share the Scampi on were also cold. Our 2 previous Scampi dinners were excellent. I didn't get our server's name tonight, but she was excellent.

Excellent old school Italian food in an interesting setting. Very industrial decor, but comfortable and homey at the same time. The tomato sauce is a primary criteria for any Italian restaurant, and Dominick's does not disappoint. The sauce has a delicious homemade taste, with no trace of bitterness. Wonderful. The eggplant parmesan was done with both mozzarella and ricotta, which was delicious, and the meatballs were excellent as well. We'll definitely go back again to try other dishes. Parking is in the back.

We had a large group of 11. We checked in at the front desk, and they said it could take 25-30 minutes for a table. It is understandable for a large group. However, a few minutes later, they said our table was ready! The staff was quick to give us water, and the menus were already on the table. The waiter asked if we wanted separate checks, and we said that would be great. We needed 4 checks, and he said no problem 😊. Our orders were taken per separate checks. Everything arrived just as ordered. The food was good and had some unique items like the taco quesadilla. We had a nice time sitting outside with a nice view of the sunset. When we were all done, the checks arrived. Everything was correct, and we all paid. The waiter made sure he told us the tip was included based on the size of our group. This place has it all dialed in! Great job!

Delightful atmosphere, the marina makes you feel as if you are eating at a fancy restaurant. As fancy as it may seem… it’s shadowed by uncooked vegetables and flimsy patio chairs.. as I pray for my chair not to fail, please oh please good sir hold it together. Or I’ll become the bunt of EVErY fat joke around. I must say, the water.. it was delicious, hee-ha I Kidd, the complimentary beans and chips were a plus.

Oh Yolanda's Yummy!! I've been here quite a few times. Great Food Great Staff and you're right at the Harbor so right after you eat a Great meal you can take a much needed walk! I highly recommend Yolanda's!

The food is delicious. The manager Frank has great attitude. The staff are very friendly and kind. You can't complain about the prices at all you have the patio looking outside towards the ocean. The restaurant it's never empty. I love my Cheese enchiladas. I am very picky about that dish and this restaurant has it.

We visited Yolanda's which is one of the best places to enjoy Mexican food, drinks and happy hour. We had the Daily Taco Special 3 Street tacos and the Sampler Plate. The complimentary chips and the Salsa Bar was an Awesome Start. The food was fresh and hot and a good portion for the cost. Good value for su re.our server Jose did a great job, quick service and drinks came quickly. We are regulars so like the Terminator, we WILL be back. My only disappointment was that I left my sunglasses 🕶 on the table later in the evening and called this morning when the restaurant opened. The person that answered was not very helpful and said they did not find them. Bummer.

We had a large party, including my disabled mother. The staff was friendly, seated us promptly, and kept us in chips and salsa while we waited for our entrees. The food was great and the overall experience was great for my family.

The food was pretty dang decent, but like others pointed out, the drinks were watery at best. We tried two different cocktail and while the flavor was good, they were definitely weak. It might be good to return and sample some of the other foods, but skip the drinks next time.

The best seafood restaurant I’ve ever been to! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was amazing, with great live music that made the evening even more special. The appetizers were authentic and full of the true flavors of Brazil. So fresh and tasty!! Moqueca really brings the taste of Brazil to life, and I can’t wait to come back!

Nice view. Very good food, . . . except. The drinks were very weak or watered down and flavorless, and there was not enough pasta in the seafood linguini (maybe that’s a good thing???). I quite literally ran out of pasta before the seafood by a long shot. I had an espresso martini that didn’t taste like coffee at all, and there was very weak or little vodka. It tasted more like a cold hot chocolate. The other specialty drink from the menu (I don’t know which one was ordered ) was also weak and watered down. We didn’t complain because our server was very nice. Needless to say, our next drinks were beer and wine. The music was nice and came from some Yamaha speakers that I have other experience with. A good sounding system. Our server was very thorough and on top of her game. Subtleties in her performance were noted by me as being rather refined. I don’t remember her name, but she was very good. Yes, the hot chili oil is outstanding. Dicks

Wife loved the feijoada, meat skewers were delicious . The location was great and we enjoyed being able to watch the harbor. The only downside is maybe it was a little pricey for what we got. But again it was delicious and reminded my wife of her time in Brazil.

We had a wonderful dinner at Moqueca! The view is a perfect 10, the environment is warm and inviting, and the caipirinhas were spot on. The food was absolutely delicious: full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I came specifically for the sea bass and shrimp moqueca, but our order came out with just the sea bass. Even though it wasn’t exactly what I had asked for, it was so tasty that I didn’t mind. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, although she did mix up the flavor of my caipirinha as well. Despite those small details, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely come back!

Moqueca was amazing. The food was on point and service was great. Would highly recommend the Brazilian beef stroganoff. We also got the fish moqueca and that was delicious. As someone with shellfish allergies, I was able to find delicious food and I believe there was no cross contamination since each dish is made individually.

We came to this restaurant with a simple goal: to celebrate a family member’s birthday with a nice meal. Unfortunately, what we experienced instead was one of the most disappointing and frustrating dining experiences we’ve ever had. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty—with only two or three other tables seated—our food never arrived. We waited for over two hours, politely checking in with staff multiple times, only to eventually be told that our order had never been put in. No explanation, no urgency—just repeated reassurances that turned out to mean nothing. We had informed the staff early on that we were on a schedule due to a boat tour later that evening. As the time passed and our plans fell apart, it became clear that no one was taking our concerns seriously. When we asked for the food to be packed to-go, the restaurant initially agreed and offered to comp the meals as an apology for the delay and oversight. But after another 15-minute wait, someone returned to inform us they had changed their minds and we would now need to pay for the food that we had never received. The complete lack of accountability was shocking. When we calmly expressed our frustration, we were told that we “needed to be more patient.” This was not a case of a busy kitchen or unexpected crowd—it was a nearly empty restaurant, and the issue was entirely due to disorganization and poor communication. This experience ruined what was supposed to be a meaningful celebration. The staff appeared unprepared, overwhelmed, and out of touch with even the most basic standards of service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Surprised I haven't reviewed here yet. Hidden gem restaurant, they just remodeled and now have large tv. The food was incredible and the staff are as sweet as pie. Atmosphere was perfect. 5/5

First of all, seeing the plates pass me through the kitchen maid me want everything I seen.. I got the Mermaid plate I wasn't disappointed.. The cod was flaky, and the shrimp was perfect 👌 Clam chowder is wholesome chunky and steaming ♨️ hot !! The cream Brielle 😋 hit the spot.. What a great lunch ... Next time we are in town we will come back !!

My lunch today involved the Fisherman Combo Basket! But this wasn't just a basket; it was a tiny, deep-fried treasure chest. The fish was so flaky, it practically dissolved in my mouth And the shrimp? They were plump little flavor bombs, each one a tiny explosion of joy from the ocean. My only regrets were that the basket wasn't bottomless and I didn't order the strawberry shortcake for dessert. Will definitely be back !

Came in and got seated, the atmosphere was very nice and the music playing was awesome as well, laid back tunes and cool decor all over the walls as well as flatscreens, they also have a great happy hour menu with lots of good options Got the mahi mahi tacos and they hit the spot! Very tender and definitely worth a try. Got the calamari and it was also very good! Services was great as well, they also have a super nice outdoor patio as well, highly recommend this spot for good seafood

Been a while since we were last here, my husband got the shrimp poor boy and I got the fried seafood, the calamari were drenched in oil, for shrimp and fish the batter was really thick, food tasted just ok to me

Visiting from out of town. This place has the best selection of fresh seafood I have seen in Oxnard! They also have the best clam chowder. Prices were fair and the the portions were generous.

I\nHad a Chipotle vinaigrette dressing on a wonderful grilled chicken salad that had a nice variety of veggies, some veggies did not expect anywhere.Nice treat staff , extremely energetic , motivated and friendly facility is extremely clean.

Saturday 26th of April. Hook burger is a solid choice for mid-tier burgers. Being related to the Habit it’s not a surprise. I was particularly impressed with the customer service. In an atmosphere of declining service with minimum effort being given by most staff, it is surprising to see such attention to customer experience. The staff were very attentive and happy to help with anything. It was also sincere and not begrudging. Keep these staff well paid, the good is good, but the people here make it that much more enjoyable.

Stopped in to try the food for the first time. It was pretty good. The onion rings were pretty good. Next time we will try thier chopped salads, I saw plenty coming out of the kitchen and they looked delicious. We tried the burgers, fries and onion rings. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. 2nd visit we did try the chopped salads amd they were not a disappointment.

I've been to many Casual dining, where there lobby and bathrooms are dirty, bad service and wrong orders. Hook burger, you guys made me want to come back. Food was delicious, courteous service and the place was spotless clean!!! I love it, it was my first time but I'm coming back.

It's a place where you go to have a restaurant style burger with your co-workers. It's all just ok. If you are a burger connoisseur go else where. What is good is the price, beer, burger, sides are all very good value. The people are great and attentive.

Would recommend! Enjoyed 2 good meals here. The first night was a Hook Burger. The melted cheese and onions added to the flavor or the very delicious burger. The Oreo shake a fries were a great compliment. The second meal was the Chicken Caesar salad. Nice size salad. Could have had less croutons but overall it was excellent. Great dining area.

I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with eggs, sausage, and three other dishes for takeout, and unfortunately, everything was a huge letdown. The French toast looked and tasted terrible—like it was cooked on a dirty stovetop, with grease or fat visibly coating it. It tasted like someone just threw cinnamon on top with no real effort. On top of that, I only received one sausage with the meal. Nothing was appetizing, and I couldn’t even finish it. Definitely not worth the money.

Was passing through the area on my way back home to West LA and had heard amazing things about this little diner so tried it for my first time this past weekend and can say I was honestly really impressed. Service was fantastic, our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast and for a very fair price. I loved how fresh all the ingredients were and the produce was especially delicious. I would call this a local country diner that was absolutely packed when we visited on Saturday morning. They don’t have outdoor seating but plenty of indoor options. There’s also a large free parking lot attached so finding a space was really easy. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of classic American and Mexican breakfast options. For this visit, I chose the Chilaquiles Verdes and thought it was really good. I added some of their homemade salsa with it, which was a great combo and I would highly recommend this dish. I also got a biscuit on the side, which was very fluffy and really hit the spot. It’s really lively on the inside and had a really great atmosphere so I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or to anyone in the area.

We were on our way home from Los Angeles heading north and decided to take a chance on this place. It was a little off the beaten path, but well worth the excursion. The food and service were top-notch!

The moment we walked in we were seated and attended too, even thought it gets busy your waiter/ waitress are walking around to see if you need anything. Everything is good there the best dishes are the chile Verde and the Chilaquiles plate sooo good. My husband and I had the chile verde plate, our son had a sandwich I dont remember the name It was delishes, avocado, bacon I remember lol 😆 🤣 The early bird ends at 9a.m. The dinner does close at 2 and the prices are decent. If you are ever in Oxnard I recommend you stoping by to enjoy this yummy cuisine you won't be disappointed 😋 😉 we were in oxnard for 3 days after our first morning haven eaten at Best breakfast we went back for a second day there and the staff is super friendly aswell as attentive to your needs. Great Food & Great Service. We have eaten here three times while in town for a week. This restaurant doesn't disappoint! Manager was great to speak with. All 3 servers were kind & bubbly. Country Fry (enough for 2 ppl)... Chilaquiles (bravo)... Ribeye Steak (great flavor)... ...Cubed potatoes, eggs, pancakes Best Mimosas!

The breakfast was really good. Quick service, but the best part there was our waitress Abby, she is the best. This was our first time in this place, right away she suggested different options for food, she was making sure that our cups or glasses were full (we never have to ask for refills 🩷), checking on us often if everything was good, friendly and always an smile on her face. Definitely coming back. Thank you Abby for your excellent customer service 🤩

Came early in the morning on a Sunday. Plenty of parking, easy to find. Wonderful, fast service. Accidentally spilled water and someone immediately came to wipe it up and give us more water. Portions and pricing are very reasonable. Very accommodating. Chicken in the sandwich tasted great, wasn’t hard in texture at all like some other sandwich places. All the food tasted great and was perfect after a long hike in the mountains!

One of the better Korean lunches I’ve had. And what I didn’t order that went out looked even better. Great flavors, friendly staff. A little pricy but the potions warrant paying a little extra.

Kura is amazing! I lived here 5 years and never tried it! Authentically Korean- per my Korean boyfriend haha- we had the stone bowls and they came out sizzling! So delicious and the rice got that crispy bottom. Yum! And the banchan and soup was divine. They even gave us more when we ran low. The servers were very attentive. It's a little on the pricier side but it is worth it!

I used to love coming here. The portions were great. I always ordered the soft tofu with seafood and it was always delicious and well ratioed with seafood. Well today I ordered it and it was really disappointing. I barely had any seafood. It was mainly tofu. Its a pricey soup and its definitely not worth it because of the lack of seafood. I told the server about it, she was nice enough to talk to the chef. She then took my bowl to the chef and the chef said he put the same amount as he always does. I told the waitress that I have gotten this before several times and I have been coming here for years and it used to have more seafood. The waitress then talks to the owner. The waitress said the owner said the portions are the same as always. I told the waitress there is no way this has always been the same portion. I have always been happy to get this soup and I have never complained before until now. This is ridiculous. And I even showed her that every time I spooned my soup all I kept getting was only tofu. There was sadly nothing she can do. 3 tiny pieces of squid legs, 3 tiny clams and one shrimp is a joke and a total rip off!! Don't lie to me and say the portions never changed. You can't BS a now former loyal customer. I will never return here. Thanks for nothing!

If you’re looking for tasty traditional Korean food in the VC area than look no further! Sura never disappoints when it comes to authentic Korean dishes that tastes like home cooked meals. My regular go to dishes are the bibimbap, bulgogi, and chicken plate. You cannot go wrong with the tofu soup as well. I believe what sets this place apart is the quality of the side dishes that they specialize in since they are the perfect addition to balance out the rich foods and the welcoming atmosphere ran by local owners who are always so sweet when I stop by. It is also located in a beautiful shopping center overlooking water and has plenty of parking spaces.

THE BEST KOREAN FOOD I’VE TRIED. I even went to some LA ones but this place is my favorite. My favorite order is the bulgogi stone bowl and the jajangmyeon!

Me and my partner went to this restaurant we traveled from Santa Barbara so it was about a half hour drive and to start things off I guess maybe this is a thing at other restaurants but I’ve never been to a Korean barbecue restaurant where you don’t get to cook yourself with a grill at the table I wanted to leave immediately but my partner did not so I did not say anything and we stayed already on this point I would not come back because I’m coming for the experience of cooking myself and enjoying Korean food which is not an option. We started with the calamari It was very thick, cut almost seemed a little dry, and I kind of like that. It was less chewy than normal probably overcooked however, I’m not a big calamari fan. I only had a few pieces while my partner had the rest. I wanted to order the bigger plate Bulgogi And I wanted to add a soup that comes with the dinner combo. However, they said I cannot order the soup. It only comes with the dinner combo. How ridiculous is that? I can’t order a soup at an increase price because it’s not on the dinner combo. Anyhow, the amount of food that came in the combo was barely enough for two which is what me and my partner shared because by this time she didn’t even want to order Her own meal since they did not have any sweet-and-sour, hot and sour soup I forget what kind she wanted, but they did not have it. It was OK. I really enjoyed the texture and stickiness of the black bean rice however, no flavor at all the Bulgogi was tasty, but compared to other places lacking in flavor the soup that came with our meal Which is what I was most excited for also seemed subpar at best. There was kimchi on the side that was all Fishcakes I believe they were OK radish and potatoes and cube like shapes that were sweet I like them, but never had something like that before. It was interesting. The atmosphere was all right but the service was not minimal at best, and I did not like the way the server stood in the hallway behind us the whole time it was very awkward. My partner believes that she got sick from the calamari, which again she had most to herself I only had three pieces And later on for the next couple days, she was complaining about stomach problems that she believes was from the calamari. My biggest problem with this place Again is the fact that we don’t get to grill our own food I’ve never been to another Korean barbecue restaurant that did not have the grills at the table. I do not know if this is common but I do not like it one little bit. The next biggest issue is the fact that the food is not flavorfule enough and possibly not of high enough quality For them to be asking for this ridiculous prices a meal for one person comes out to the price of two meals almost anywhere else Besides steakhouses and Gordon Ramsay‘s restaurant hahaha.

This place has good Korean food. The side dishes are really good as well. Good service with friendly staff . Plenty of seating . It's inexpensive. I would definitely go here again especially for a casual meal. It's a good place to go on a small couple romantic meal for a No-Frills dinner. Also good for larger groups. Portions are good. Healthy wholesome food.

Great food, great service. The water with a lemon slice was a nice touch. Ask for Mitch he'll really take care of you. Didn't have the stomach for the pancake roll. Nice music. We'll have to come back. But, the bathroom floors need cleaning.

Highly recommend coming here! Local or just passing, by like we were. The food was great! Nothing left us unsatisfied. They even took the time to guide us through the menu and gave us info regarding menu options. A great restaurant all around! The customer service was exceptional—not only for my family, but for everyone dining there. You can really tell they care about every guest’s experience. The walls were entertaining as well 😆. When we lived in Ventura, we went to Pete's just about every weekend. And for good reason - Pete's is just about the perfect breakfast diner. The menu is large, from baked goods and pancakes to eggs and bacon, along with Mexican food, everything is homemade and delicious. The coffee is great too. The staff are all so friendly, the interior is cozy, it's just so happy at Pete's. It's awesome. Just be prepared to wait a little bit almost any time you go, because this is where locals eat. Because it's awesome. Pro tip: try the habanero salsa!

This was interesting for us . This place had people waiting to get a seat and lots good reviews about the food The staff was very friendly and they are very dog friendly. Which was awesome. Our waitress was very nice. So it was weird when our food was so underwhelming. When I took a bite of my eggs it had egg shells in it. And zero seasoning. I didn't care for the style of breakfast sausage that they use. The French toast was just ok. My husband had the huevos rancheros. The eggs were good but the canned beans over the breakfast potatoes were not tasty at all. The breakfast potatoes would have been so much tastier without the beans. The little salsa it came with tasted like raw tomatoes. Lastly the coffee wasn't fresh. It didn't taste good.As we looked around it seemed as though maybe we had just ordered the wrong food. Maybe the other options are much better. For us it was just meh. We spent over $50 for 2 egg breakfast meals and coffee. All that being said, because everyone was so nice and it had a lovely atmosphere. I would try it again

My Spanish omelet was excellent. I added avocado and it was worth it. The service was friendly and my coffee never reached less than half a cup (and I drink a lot of coffee) 😆 This is a great stop if you're in the area.

Pete's is a gem. I highly recommend the Chile Verde Burrito, it was huge and delicious. The atmosphere was also delightful. Service was on point and everything one could ask for.

The reviews speak for themselves. Seriously, the food was insanely good! The potatoes au gratin were maybe the best I’ve ever had? We went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and didn’t even wait for a table. The service was great. The prices are expensive, you can expect to pay at least $20 per person. But that’s to be expected with high quality food. I don’t regret the money spent at all! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I are relatively new to the area and have been trying to find a good breakfast/brunch spot.Cafe Nouveau stands alone as the best place that we’ve eaten at for breakfast so far. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. There is great outdoor seating and eating inside is nice as well. You have to try the bacon beignets – it might be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

Wow! I seldom go out for breakfast, but we went in after having this recommended to us. Its well worth it! Carlos the owner has a we oiled highly trained service and culinary staff, we had Maple Bacon Beignets, Eggs Benedict, and the Breakfast Nachos, all were excellent! The service staff are all quietly communicating and work as a great team. Drop a napkin? It will be taken before you can take action and another one, clean and folded returned in moments. The coffee, ever refilled. Treat yourself and don't miss this place.

I'm glad we went here. Pizza and the salad bar were great. The line at the counter was quick as they had 3 people taking orders quickly. The music they had while we were there was all from the eighties, so it was karaoke for me! The others at our table also had to sing along. Thanks for a good time! Music really makes a difference.

Food is great !! Stop by for a small birthday party , we managed to grab a couple tables , ordered lots of pizza sandwiches beer and sodas ! As a stranger to the area, I asked a few colleagues for a dinner recommendation. Without hesitation they all said toppers. So that’s why I’m here, but pizza seems wayyy to norm. I ordered a chicken & bacon sandwich with a carbonated beverage. As a plus it came with chips. This establishment is way more than a greasy pizza hut. it has subs, salads and what?…I presume bottle service. Vino, my dear… oh yum. Don’t forget sports on the Telly and a blah blah arcade. Overall, the scenery is its greatest asset. Unfortunately not enough money went into a proper patio seating and canopy. Tisk, tisk, tisk, but regardless I’ll be back for more.

I recently visited the Toppers Pizza location at 2701 Peninsula Rd in Oxnard for the first time with my girlfriend on Wednesday, August 7th, between 9:00 and 10:00 PM. I had heard great things from friends and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, what happened during our visit left us feeling disrespected and disappointed. I went to the salad bar using one of the small plates we were given, not realizing the salad wasn’t included without payment. A manager came up, told me I had to pay, and took my plate of food without giving me a chance to pay. She pointed at the counter and walked off with the food, which she later threw away. When I asked why she did that, she said it was so I could get a fresh batch—though I had just gotten it. She never gave me the option to pay for what I had already taken. It became more uncomfortable when my girlfriend overheard her telling another worker to “keep an eye on us,” and we noticed we were being watched the rest of the time. I politely asked the manager for her name, but she refused and covered her name tag. She just kept asking “Why?” over and over. I explained it was our first time and that the experience wasn’t good because of how she treated us, but instead of apologizing or showing any concern, she just kept defending herself. Since she refused to give her name, all I can say is that she was the only Asian woman working at the time. Toward closing time, while we were still eating, an employee gave us boxes and asked us to pack our food and leave. Two other customers were also asked to leave at that time. While we understand closing procedures, it felt rushed and dismissive—especially after the way we had been treated. We weren’t trying to get free food—I simply didn’t know how the salad bar worked. The whole situation could have been handled with more respect and better communication. This was our first time trying Toppers, and after that experience, I don’t think we’ll return to that location—or any Toppers at all. I hope this is taken seriously and addressed by corporate.

I had a great night enjoying a meal here. My server was Jojo, who by the way, is very funny very kind and knows how to engage with customers very well. Definitely deserving of a raise no doubt. The night was busy but it was calming and not so loud which was therapeutic after a long week. I had the Crispy Chicken sandwhich with chips and Artichoke Dip. And it was absolutely delicious and would easily stop by and get it again. Prices are a little high here so I do recommend coming here on a special night. But you will love the service and the ambiance. Great for a date!

Our server Riley was great! Gave us extra hot fries since we waited a bit for our food. Pizookie was excellent and for the most part everyone liked their food. My friends ordered a cheeseburger, full rack of ribs and tri tip. Only issue was that the chicken for the chicken club sandwich was dry and the broccoli was over cooked.

Normally BJs is one of my favorite places to eat, but this location fell way short of my expectations solely due to poor service. We were greeted and seated quickly with and with a smile. We had to wait a while to be seen by the server initially, but as the restaurant was full, we understood the wait. After she took our order she disappeared. Other people brought out our drinks and food, but they didn't get the message that we were sharing our meal so didn't bring an n extra plate. What we got when we asked for an extra plate was a small salad plate which was just barely big enough to hold my half of the meal. We were never offered refills on our drinks. After finishing our meal we waited and waited while our server was visiting with another guest. Despite trying to wave down anyone we finally caught the manager's attention, and she interrupted our server's conversation to come help us. We asked the waitress to bring out our pazookie (which came with our meal). When it finally arrived (2 baseball innings later) it was not hot having apparently sat in the kitchen too long. Training is definitely needed at this location.

I placed an order online at BJ’s and came in to pick it up. No one greeted me, and multiple people who arrived after me were helped first. I had to call the store just to find out where to go—only then was I told to go to the second desk. When I asked for help, the employee had a terrible attitude. This was some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. To top it off, when placing the order, the first prompt was to leave a 18% tip—for what? Absolutely ridiculous. BJ’s is a rip-off with horrible service.

We ordered a BJ’s favorite pizza - LARGE. $35+ dollars. $40 if you order it on DoorDash which is what we did. The pizza was not fresh. It looked like a day old pizza that was reheated in a cheap oven. Ridiculous. I wish I could get my money back. Bad quality. HORRIBLE.

I'm giving Lazy Dog a solid 5 stars. Not because its the best food ever, but for the price and selection of menu items it is incredibly.consistemt and great value for money in today's climate. We ordered the chicken meatball tika masala appetizer, which was delicious. It would however be greatly improved with some mini nan bread bites to mop up the delicious, perfectly spiced sauce. My hubby ordered the Mediterranean Bowl that looked really fabulous. This too would have been greatly enhanced with a little pitta bread to scoop up the hummus that was seasoned deliciously. The Lemon Chicken plate with the cauliflower mash and green beans was top notch too. No complaints whatsoever on this except the probably served too much chicken for me 😉 Overall great value and great food all deserving of my 5 stars!

The most disgusting service in Oxnard is here! There was a very rude and slow waitress Sarah who didn't even standard her work! She brought dirty cutlery with leftovers on a fork and a knife and dirty glass! It's outrageous!! Bringing dirty forks and knives after previous customers for this place is the norm!!!! It's happened several times already! More than once!! The question is, why is the management so swine towards customers?! Next, after dinner, we ordered dessert and a drink. They brought the dessert right away, and the drink in 20 minutes because she forgot about it!!! This is unacceptable! And the most disgusting thing, asking for the bill, this impulent person wanted to calculate us and cheat us for money! She added an extra drink and an extra dish to the bill!!! Where is the management of this place looking??!!! Since we have visited this institution many times and repeatedly brought me dirty dishes, I think it is necessary to complain to the Health Department. Or is the norm here treating customers like pigs??? I think it is necessary to invite inspections from all departments to this restaurant to put things in order! I don't recommend this terrible place to anyone!

Overall the food and atmosphere are really good, but the volume makes it a bit hard to have conversations if you're looking for a place to catch up with someone and can make ordering a little difficult at times. Will say that it is very family-friendly, so if you need a place to go with little ones, this could be a good option. I highly recommend the 5 cheese grilled cheese and will definitely be coming back here again later with family and friends.

My friends and I decided to enjoy a nice night out at Waterside, and it turned out to be a great choice. To our pleasant surprise, there was a live band playing—The Goleta Sound—and they definitely made the evening special. We opted to sit outside, and even though it was chilly, the heaters provided just enough warmth, allowing us to enjoy the music comfortably. Our server was patient and friendly, even though it took some time for us to decide on drinks. Once we settled in, it took a little longer to choose our meals, as we were busy catching up and socializing, but our waitress was exceptionally accommodating throughout. For the table, everyone except my partner ordered the burger with fries, which was delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My partner chose the pork chop, which was seasoned well and juicy, making for a satisfying meal. Overall, a fantastic night with good food, great live music, and attentive service. We’ll definitely be returning!

The patio backs up to the harbor and all the boats. Great view. All the food was fabulous. My son had the pork chop and eggs. It was excellent. My wife had the crab cake burger it was amazing. I had the belgium waffle with berries The drinks were perfect.(code for strong) The service was impeccable. Everyone there is nice. We'll be going again soon. So this is the second time we visited within a couple of months, we use to eat brunch there a couple times a month. The service is good, atmosphere is good, but the food has been a disappointment on both our recent visits. Eggs over cooked, potatoes cold, and sausage was tough and overcooked. I love ventiki. I've been frequenting for years. I came September 14th for my birthday and it was AMAZING, omg. The bartender. The waitress. Perfection. The best birthday i could ask for and it made me want to come back even more. So I came back today. October 17th. The waitress wasnt great. She refused multiple cards. There was 4. Thats semi fine. But she lost almost 100$ + tip in just one person alone because he always gets a lot but he only got one bc thats all I could afford. So we all lost out because of that. Which is really sucky but not terrible. For the drinks, most people would be happy they were REALLLY strong. Im not a drinker, so it was super strong and not really that good. The bartender did remake it ♡♡♡ but she was not happy about it. Which I'm sorry about on her end. My best advice, because I love ventiki, go Sundays. The waitress is amazing. Idk if the same bartender will be there as sept 14th, but thats okay bc the waitress is a godsend.

My friends, this place is great for breakfast. They have menudo on the weekend, your traditional Mexican and American dishes, just like moms cooking. They know how to cook here. The food was great, almost perfect across the board; The cook understood how to cook a burger patty to the correct level upon request (within regulations of course) & the fries are out of this world. Ample portions and relatively low to average cost for a surplus of good food. Atmosphere is a bit generic and there is an odd insistence about seating in the establishment but it wasn't overly busy so seating flexed a little for us. Overall, 4/5, would recommend.

Ordered a wet burrito and it came out amazing! The salsa verde’s flavor was amazing and the cheese pull when I went to take a bite was so satisfying. I noticed on the menu they also have bottomless mimosas here and looked around and saw people brought a friend for that which makes me want to come back with a group next time to enjoy the full experience. The atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely planning a return visit for brunch and mimosas!

Went in for a table of one. They had a section for two people and one side being a booth seat. Ordered the bottomless mimosas, had refills before I set the glass down. The ribeye steak and eggs was delicious. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly and was even better than some steak houses I've been too. My server was attentive and checked to make sure my food was cooked properly right when it came out which I am not used to. Kudos to this place for being amazing. Also, it was packed which leads me to believe others feel the same.

In an environment of uber this and dasher that, Toppers is tops in my opinion. For a stand out dinner in, you won’t be disappointed by Toppers.

Delicious fresh oysters! Enjoyed the Cajun grilled oysters, the scallop ceviche and shucked a dozen of the raw oysters. Sat outside and enjoyed the chill vibes and music and took a nice little beach stroll after.

Cool outdoor spot conveniently located across from the Marriot at the park. Fresh! With options to shuck your own, take them to go or enjoy the ocean views and breeze while dining there. Dog friendly, and you are able to bring outside items. Park will voucher an hour of parking for you as well. Will definitely make it a point to come here when I pass through in the future.

This place is so good. The food is amazing and the service is super friendly. Can’t beat the beachside location, right by the sand and water. I’m happy a place like this exists and I hope they continue to be a part of what makes Ventura great. You get a free 60 minute parking pass when you go through the gate.

Great when you want to shuck your own oysters. You’re in for a fun time no doubt. Bring your own shuckers, buy one from the shop, or just ask to borrow one. Whatever which way, you’ll have some fun. Shuck shuck away. Their smaller ones are usually better, in a sweeter way. We love getting the Kumamoto variety mainly. Open air seating at the beach and you can have open containers. Good deal!

Awesome place, got this recommendation from a friend. Oysters are so fresh, and nothing like an original glass coke bottle to wash it down. I do think there was way more and excessive salt on the bottom of the plate, but nothing to the point where I wouldn’t have enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back in the summer when it’s less windy.

The combination of great drinks and sweet treats makes it a perfect place to stop by any time of the day. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always ready to make recommendations, which makes the experience even better. Closest thing to a cute cafe since being in korea. Staff was super friendly and the concept cute although I would have liked more of the theme bit again I lived in cafe drenched korea. I ordered a lavender latte and an espresso chocolate cookie. I wish they were open later. Might be a good date spot with the right atmosphere.

This place has no customer service. Tried to call but no one picks up. Ordered pistachio butter croissant but got a regular one. Ordered a turkey sandwich no bacon no mayo. But got one with no cheese instead. They also dont put real avocados. Just some green spread....lol

Authentic homemade Mexican food. The chicken flautas plate with beans and rice was the best of what we ordered. Rice abs beans are full of flavor. Potatoe tacos took 2nd place, and carne asada tacos took 3rd. Red and green salsas were flavorful. Outdoor parking lot in the back of the restaurant.

Solid Comida Mexicana! My wife and I were craving asada nachos and these were very good. My one critique is I wish we got more asada but overall everything was very good!

Good food. I had not been here since I was a kid (since before taco trucks on every corner was a thing)and decided to give it a try. I got the asada burrito and my mom got the Buche burrito. They give you two salsa cups per burrito and two burritos was about 20 bucks. My asada burrito was good my mom mentioned the buche wwas a bit greasy and made her tortilla soggy. Very busy so the meat moves quickly so it's not sitting for too long. They get through the orders quick.

Food is always been amazing at this particular place, food is always made to order, is hot and fresh, the flavor is great and it never disappoints! Although We always get the same menu items, which include, Lengua burrito and salsa verde nachos, I'm in no doubt the other menu items are amazing as well! The place is always clean, however the tables make the place look dirty since they are in poor condition, one has the seats broken, and most of them have the paint vanished, some even have carved graffiti in them, also they never replaced the broken window, which makes it darker inside. Just a few flaws, but I really go there for the food not the looks !!

Hands down the best bagel shop in the county! I've been coming here for years and they never fail me, everything is perfection. Try the bagel sandwich - so fricking delicious - roast beef is my personal favorite. Everyone here is so friendly.

The service is really kind and efficient. The bagels are so tasty and nicely loaded with cream cheese. I got the four cheese jalapeno with the works (includes onion and tomatoes) and that is satisfying. I also had their mini chocolate chip cookies and they taste home made. I've gone twice this week. 😂

I frequently visit BRC to eat freshly baked Bagels with my family and today thought to write my review, and I must say, eating Bagels at BRC is a delightful experience. The moment you walk in, you can feel the aroma of freshly baked bagels in the air. The menu offers a wide variety of bagels, from classic plain to unique flavors like blueberry and Crazy bagels. Crazy is my favorite Bagel with the latest hidden menu entry Philly Steaks, All the menu and meat options are halal. Bagels have a crispy exterior with a soft, chewy inside, and the cream cheese was generously spread. The toppings were abundant and gave a burst of flavor in every bite. The shop had a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff who were quick to take my order and answer any questions. I also appreciated the option to customize my bagel with various spreads, meats, and veggies. At times you meet the owner too who is friendly and always open to chat. Overall, this bagel shop always exceed my expectations. And by far the best Bagel shop in the town. The quality of their bagels and the friendly service make it a must-visit for any bagel lover. I'll definitely be returning for more bagel bliss.

Such an amazing pastry and coffee stop right next to the hospital. I visited most mornings during my partner's recent stay and they were always so kind to me and had great food/coffee that lifted my spirits up each morning. Thank you so much for being here, Bagel Rock!

Got the garlic bagel with cream cheese and the crazy bagel (4 cheese, onion, sesame seed, poppy seed, jalapeño and mushroom) with cream cheese. I really wasn't impressed. It way pretty. But mediocre at best. Went because of the reviews and was disappointed actually. Expensive and not worth it. Almost 12 bucks for 2 bagels. Hardly any cream cheese (paid 1.75 to add it on the garlic and 2.00 on the crazy bagel) The flavor was okay, but I've definitely had much better. The staff was friendly. But overall, you don't purchase friendly, you purchase a product. And for that they only get 3 stars. Won't be going back.

The works were nice but I paid 64.14 for 5 bagels, 3 of which didn't have cream cheese, which were supposed to and all were made wrong. They were also ether all really oddly flat or dry, This place used to be really good but it's NOT worth the price

The tacos were really good, the fish tacos took the show. The fish seemed fresh, they were very big tacos, and the sauce was amazing. The area is not that great, nothing the store owners can do except run a great restaurant which they do well.

Wow very disappointed with the food here. I think they are operating on reputation. The cocktail of shrimp and pulpo was tomato juice and shrimp no pulpo. The shrimp cevichewas the same bland flavor. The tacos were good but not up to past reputation.

At first glance the prices are a wee bit expensive ($4 a taco for fish or shrimp), but you get unlimited tortilla chips and salsa which are both made FRESH. Best seafood tacos in SoCal, I dare say. Personally I like the shrimp tacos more than the fish tacos, but both are good and let's face it, you're not just getting one so it's not like you gotta choose.

This is one of Oxnard's hidden spots downtown for good fish tacos. I haven't tried anything but the fish tacos because they are sooooooo good. They make everything fresh in house and they have serve yourself salsa and chip bar. You should also try their horchata. It's very sweet and has a good flavor. They have a wide variety of menu options, so everyone in your party can pick and choose. Give this place a shot and see what you think.

We love this place. It’s the best Indian place in Ventura County. We’ve been to others and the flavors are the best here. They have the best flavored meat, and vegetarian and vegan options. It’s right by the beach and it cozy inside. Always super clean and friendly in this place. Highly recommend. They also have efficient take out, which we’ve done numerous times. It’s not even a question if we’re having Indian this week!

All around phenomenal experience. The food is obviously incredible but the service also goes above and beyond. It’s my best friends birthday and we ordered all the things. We were traveling and staying in Oxnard. We found masala twist on google and decided to give it a try. It was such a jem. Very authentic Punjabi Indian food, we are so glad we stopped by. The service was very warm too. The stuffed paratha and garlic nan was one of the best we’ve had. Highly recommend.

I heard a lot about this restaurant. As it was way far from my place at least one hour drive. But some how i was able to go there yesterday (08/16/2025) . I ordered vegan Tandoori and that was awesome as it was not chicken but kind of Tofu style. Then i ordered Saag Paneer/ Lamb Curry and Daal makhani with 2 garlic naans and one Roti (tortilla). All the items were thoroughly cooked and the combination of Spices and salt was great. Then i ordered Mango Lassi oh wow that taste amazing. The owner is a young guy and he is the main cook also. But he and his staff greets you like they know you for some time. Overall my experience was great and i would love to go back again. Not to forget the view behind the restaurant was great.

What a great stop on our Christmas vacation to the beach. Looked up a highly rated spot that was open and found this one. I really enjoyed the chicken and the tri-tip very tasty and just seasoned enough to have the natural taste of the beef and chicken to stand out. It is worth the stop. I thought the weak area of the meal was the chips. I could just skip those. Both corn and flour tortillas where solid. My girlfriend had just a chicken and cheese burrito and she loved it. Thanks El Pollo Norteno for having a great restaurant and a very clean one as well.

I live here in town. I was told this is the best place for Chicken.. I got there @ 10am, everyone friendly. I got home & just the look & smell, took one bite & I was in a Happy Place😊😋

Wasn't too happy when I got home and found my burrito soggy & wet, normally I have no complaints at all in the 30 years I have been going here never once has this happened, but! The taste was still amazing even if I had to eat it with a fork. Gave it a 3 star for the taste definitely not the presentation.

The best grilled chicken and tri tip plate in the 805! This place never disappoints. The grilled chicken is fresh to order and the tri tip is served with au jus! The salsa is made fresh daily and the frijoles de la Hoya are just like my mama makes them, simply awesome. Two people can eat for about $22 and it’s definitely worth the stop in.

Update 06/04/21-price hike of $5 for family meal and portion on the steak definitely have shrunk. Got the family meal, love the portion of protein they give you but weirded out by the small sides and everything is in cups!? Don't need to be cheap with your sides, your keep your patrons full that way!

Delicious food. Service at Tomas Cafe in Oxnard was even better. A cafe that has that down home feeling. Hospitality is the word I’m looking for. Speaking for myself, the food is just as important as the service. This place does it for me. I recommend the eggs Benedict with ham steak: it really is ham steak! 😊

It was my first time and I'd definitely come back! The food was delicious. Here you order and the counter and seat yourself. We all shared a cinnamon roll, it was 4 of us, so to share was perfect, especially while we waited for our food. I ordered the chiliquiles burrito, which was delicious. It was big, I had to save half to take home. The salsas were delicious as well. Ambiance was vibrant and the service was kind.

The worst breakfast ever! We went this morning and ordered 2 Jesus’ Chilaquiles with red sauce, it literally tasted like chile guajillo, no other flavor, not even salt/pepper. The rice was old, I’m sure it had been reheated at least twice. The chocolate chip pancakes had just chocolate chips as topping not even inside. There’s nothing less disappointing than wasting your money on horrible food. Definitely not going back.

I ordered through DoorDash. The smoothie was amazing! The most ripe banana I’ve ever had! The biscuits and gravy were only OK. I’m sure the Mexican food is good, but I didn’t order it this time

Tomas Cafe is the place to be! Had one of the most memorable brunches with my lady on Sunday. Service was top notch, food was very good (in big portions!) and the atmosphere was very family friendly. You HAVE TO try the Mexican breakfast, the Cinnamon roll (best I ever had!) and the Spanish Omelet. Great coffee, best orange juice I had in a while, fresh fruits & vegetables and amazing thick cut bacon. Need I say more?

Very good chilaqulas. The food is always delicious. The service is not very good. We asked to substitute fries with hash browns and was told no. They should have more flexibility even if they charge for it. Don't go for the service. Get it to go!

The only reason I'm giving Otani's only two stars is that a friend of mine told me how amazingly wonderful it was. Perhaps the seafood salad isn't the best thing on the menu. That's what I had and it was very underwhelming. My friend and I went there hoping to find something like a Seven Seas salad which of course has all kinds of seafood in it not just crab and shrimp with lettuce. We did not opt to have it smothered in mayonnaise which of course is the way most people get it. I intend to return to try something else on the menu. The place was about half-full and there was a steady stream of people coming in getting to go orders. I suspect my experience is a unique one. I must add this; the people who work there are very accommodating I did not expect the wonderful service that we got. 😁

I love Otani's. Have been coming here since I was a kid. The food is delicious and staff is always friendly and helpful. It gets REALLY busy during lent. Other than that It truly is an iconic Oxnard restaurant.

Haven't eaten there in almost 50 years, but it had the best seafood I ever tasted. My friend and I would drive all the way from Agoura just for the fish!

Fish is fresh rice is good but the salad wasn't fresh that was too bad because It was like eating by a dirty trash can. Some how the salad messed up the whole plate, I wish they wouldn't have placed it there. The place was clean but they scale and gut the fish right in front of you so you get the smell coming off the stainless steel. The food is brought to the table for you and the condiment are on a small table by the front door.

This is a landmark! Just came to relive. Must try their clam chowder ( was warm, ok, not great). Food was ok.... can get teriyaki Chinese here. But why? Had their calamari steak charbroiled. Grilled flavored. Actually very very good texture! Would recommend that! The red snapper teriyaki was good. Would not consider anything else worth getting.

Thought to be an authentic, historic Japanese food (sushi, tempura, etc.) establishment but instead, the food and the atmosphere turned out to be more of a Latino-flavored one. I tried grilled salmon bowl and it was surprisingly delicious and satisfying to my taste. Salmon was grilled with light seasoning, steamed vegetables were not heavily salted (not as your typical Japanese seasoning style), and rice cooked just right. Not a place I would return for "Japanese" food, but it's a nice, casual place for a quick bite.

Misleading menu ( ordered fajita mixta plate not a onion plate, plus you get only half of the food displayed in menu unless you complain, food tastes ok, service could improve. No i do not recommend no i will not come back.

Came on 10:00am no waiting for seats. 15 minutes pass by to order our drinks to order drinks and to top it off drinks were brought over no straw or napkins. We noticed that there was only 1 waitress on the floor. 10 minutes to place order. Restaurant is really busy. She's walking the floor fast as she can to attend customers .

I so badly want to give a five star review due to the friendly and fast service, ambience of the whole restaurant and the delicious drinks we ordered. The chelada menu is very creative but most importantly, DELICIOUS with the added ingredients they use to make them unique (vegetables and protein-ours had shrimp). The reason for the three stars is the food, although very fresh, was not seasoned enough during the process of “cooking” the shrimp with lemon. The shrimp were also large and whole. There was plenty of protein, a big plus on that. But the size of them, and of the cucumbers, as well as the seasoning (particularly pepper) would have made a big difference in the ceviche botana. For raw shrimp aguachiles, whole shrimp and and chunky veggies go well, but for traditional shrimp ceviche cooked in lemon juice, it’s different as there is no spicy liquid to offset the taste of the raw shrimp and if there’s not enough time to cook the raw shrimp in lemon juice or not enough juice, the dish’s taste is compromised. Now I’m wondering, had I chosen a “tostada” of shrimp ceviche, would the protein and cucumbers been cut smaller? The dish my friend ordered, similar situation with the seasoning. But also, the restroom was not kept up at all. In writing this review, I did consider location, but I also considered comparison to several other places with same cuisine and also considered the dishes as comes-as-is, without having to add anything myself. But guess what? I’m going back! The drinks were bomb. And I’ll ask if they could accommodate ceviche to my liking perhaps, if I feel like it. Excellent customer service. Great vibes (beautiful lights, dj music and I think live too). Clean inside restaurant (tables, booths). And I ordered a bean and cheese burrito to take home to my son, he said it was great.

The Shrimp taco platter is delicious $13.95. The Shrimp and Carne asada platter tastes amazing as well $18.95. All there beverages are in bottles, you can ask for a cup of ice on the side. Sodas are reasonably priced at about $1.99 for a half liter bottle. All in all great place to eat.

We had a fantastic meal. The choices are outstanding. The food cooked to perfection. The wait staff attentive and friendly. Next time we come through Oxnard we are definetly stopping here again. We had Caldo Costa Brava, Fajita Mixta, Campechana Mixta and Tacos Gobernador. Fantastic.

Very tasty jerk. Solid menu includes vegan options along with tri tip tacos, traditional jerk chicken with rice n peas and spicy coleslaw. Jerk Burgers with fries etc. Go for a bowl or a plate or roti wrap. Sweet Plantains, corn on the cob and Mixed greens round out the menu along with a few Filipino faves. Busy Thursday - Sunday but open 7 days. Atmosphere gets 3 stars for no music. Otherwise very clean and wood tables/seats. Decent decor.

The four stars is my norm for first time visiting. The Rasta Pasta with jerk chicken was really good and flavorful! I had a beef empanada on the side as well with jerk sauce that was super tasty! Hopefully s repeat visit will yield the same results and get that fifth star! Overall the service and food was really good.

This is my favorite restaurant in Ventura County! I love the staff and the FOOD reminds me of my grandmother's Sunday dinner. Oxtail is a must order along with a curry goat roti 🤤 Do not forget a patty and you have Jamaican food as close as you can get in Ventura County plus Filipino and other Caribbean influences. First time diner at Caribbean Haven and I can promise you it was the first of many more future visits. This place has flavor dripping from every plate crossing the kitchen counter. I tried the Jerk Tri-tip sandwich and was blown away from the master piece presented to me. Next visit I'll be ordering the Oxtail for sure. Great service, friendly folks, and outstanding food. A must for anyone wanting quality food for a good price. Kudos....

Walked in and was greeted by the sweetest person on the planet who also asked what we liked and gave many options to help us decide. first was the beef Pattie’s. Something I try every time they are available…This was the Best beef pattie Crust I’ve ever had.. The beef inside was sorta dry for my taste but still very flavorful. I’m from NY so I’m used to Jamaicans making fresh patties. Maybe moisten the mixture and you’ll have a hit with me. I also had the pork kebabs with white rice, pretty plain and basic, but was very well seasoned and tasty. My kid had the tofu curry and didn’t like it that much they complained the the curry was not flavorful enough. We both loved the Jerk Chicken but thought the peas and rice were too dry for our tastes the plantains were great . Personally overall with the great menu size and the mixed variety I’d like to go back and try a couple of more items however, I don’t think I’ll be able to get anybody to come back with me as everyone I ate with had disappointing meals. Definitely worth a visit.

Food is okay, $3 for a small $1.50 taco. Small bag of chips is also $3 dollars. They used to have the tortilla chips self serve but now they're charging even if you dine in. I understand the changes to maximize earnings but you would expect the food to be really worth it. Food is passable and the meat has no seasoning except the al pastor, that's still pretty decent. Fries are also bland no seasoning. If you want to get the most bag for your buck get a fat asada burrito for $12 or asada fries for $13, that's about it honestly nothing else really catches the eye. Menu is outdated, no prices and it seems like at times they're just making up prices on the fly if you make adjustments to the order. They have a good selection of fountain drinks and glass bottle drinks, sadly 3 large drinks is $12? Yeah I'm not sure who's approving the botched pricing but they need to get checked again. Horchata is not fresh and is from a package, sad to see a "authentic" Mexican spot with is signature hits. The salsa is ok but seems watered down as the day ends. The servers and service was perfect but they did have issues bringing out the the food when the party exceeds 6 people. They eventually got it right after a few back and forth trips. The place is nice, clean, simple and cooled with AC so that's 5 stars right there. If you're near by give it a shot, you might like what I didn't. Just keep an eye on the receipt. Overall, a passable place to go, hope to see improvements in the future.

Came here for the very first time today and had the carne asada burrito…it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! They also had great customer service, brought my food to the table and they keep the place clean! And they had real napkins! (Not the super thin ones that places to give) I am out of town but next I’m in the area, I am stopping here again!! Definitely recommend!

It’s okay but there are many other options out there for Mexican that I prefer. Prices are way higher than the photos of the menu would indicate - like double - since most of those are so old.

Can't beat a 2.00 carne asada beef tacos. Plus many more varieties for 2 bucks. Burritos, full plates with rice and beans. There is a nice salsa bar with salsa and Pico de gallo and delicious homemade chips that are free! The staff is friendly and there is plenty of easy access parking and seating. The tacos have a generous portion of meat and are very good.

Tacos are very good. The salsa bar has lost of goodies. The red bright salsa is spicy & tasty. I wanted to have caldo de res, but I found out they only have that on Fridays. Every day of the week, they have a different Mexican sopas. I will be back again to give it a try on the soups. This place is clean, and the people are very kind and helpful. Places like this are hard to find. Keep cooking away. Buen trabajo!

I purchased two burritos and they were subpar at best. The contents of the burritos were cold and the quality of the ingredients was low. I recommend going elsewhere for a burrito.

The sushi at this restaurant is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious—probably one of the best sushi spots in Oxnard. Our server, Lindsey, was outstanding; she had a fantastic attitude, was very personable, and made our experience even more enjoyable. We ordered five rolls along with the regular sashimi platter, which was beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning again!

Nothing good to say about this place. We were a big group - ordered everything and excited to try after seeing good reviews. The ramen is some kind of liquid broth. Fish is not fresh and the rice from the cucumber rolls doesn't even taste good. Do not go.

Came here for a lunch date with friends and had a great time. Our waiter was awesome! He was friendly and very funny. The ramen was pretty good, and you get a lot of it! The rolls were pretty good, my only complaint is that they were all very soft. I like my rolls to have a little better structure, but I have no complaints about the flavor. We will definitely come back.

We went for dinner. It was small and not fancy, but the food was great, and our server (Lyndsay) was the best. They have several or if the ordinary sushi rolls. They had one that blew me away. It's the Jalapeño bomb, which is the right name, because It was the bomb Once again, Lyndsay was the best server. Great suggestions and such a nice personality.

Good fast service ramen and sushi restaurant. Service was friendly and the place was clean. Many options on the ramen and the food came out very fast. The egg was properly cooked as well as the ramen. The Chasu was a bit overcooked however. The soup base could been more complex but the price at about $13 was very reasonable. Came back 3 days later to try the menudo, and YUM!! My whole family enjoyed what they ordered. The only difference between 3 days ago and now is that there was free refills on the horchata then and now, it was $1.50 for a refill. I will ask before hand next time. This little place packed a lot of flavor. I absolutely loved my Portobello Chicken Sandwich! I went with my colleagues, and they loved their meals as well. The Horchata was delicious, free refills and was only $2.99! I checked the menu and they have Menudo on Saturdays. I asked if it comes with harmony, and they said yes, it is optional. I am definitely coming back! Will take pictures of the menu next time.

Stopped in here while waiting for my daughter to test at the phlebotomy school next door. Service was very friendly and very fast. Food was amazing, my wife and I both got chilaquilles, I got the red, she got the green. Our eggs were cooked perfectly. Can't wait to find a reason to have breakfast here again!

This was a great experience. The staff were absolutely lovely and our food was filling and delicious. The cafe is cozy and probablt cant accomodate a huge crowd, but it is very clean and well decorated. There is an outside dining area as well, part of the parking lot actually. The menu looks small but is actually a great variety, something for everyone. The entrance to get in is a little tricky. It's in an industrial area so I passed by it w/o noticing at first. If you're just passing thru or getting brunch before a road trip I would highly recommend Pacific Cafe.

There service was ok, but by far not a very good club sandwich really American cheese gross. They really don't know how to make a club sandwich. Definitely not worth the money. Don't order the club.

Food was authentic and very good! The owner/waitress was awesome. We will definitely go back. We had to carne asada and pastor tacos excellent with their spicy salsa. Peruvian corn was addicting.

I try to get something different every time I come here, I can attest to the arroz con pollo, the birria chimichanga are my constant “go to” dishes. My friend always gets the sopas and he says they’re great as well.

We came in to watch a movie on July 4th so we walked around oxnard having a hard time finding a place that was open. Luckily we found El Dorado. Immediately when we were sat we had homemade chips. Staff was very attentive. They had full bar and all the food we got was top notch. Important to support local businesses and was happy to during the holiday.

We stopped here for dinner after taking the train. The food was pretty good, but the music was way too loud!!! We measured it at over 100 decibels! We couldn’t even hear each other very well when yelling, let alone trying to ask the waitress questions or give our order. It was ridiculous to say the least! I have been to concerts that were not this loud! It isn’t a club or a dance hall, it’s a restaurant. Our drinks were never refilled and we asked for chips and a container of salsa to go and never received it. When I walked out my ears were ringing and I had a headache. I will definitely not be going back to dine in. Maybe take out because the food was decent.

I stopped by Bagelicious Bagels on a Saturday morning, and let me tell you, this place is special. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredible. Even though it was my first time, it felt like I was visiting an old friend who just so happens to make some of the best bagels around. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything five-cheese bagel, along with an iced caramel macchiato, both were absolutely amazing. The bagel had the perfect balance of crunch and chew, with that extra indulgent touch from the cheese. And the coffee? The perfect pick-me-up to start the day. Now, as a Native New Yorker, I know bagels. While these aren’t your classic NYC-style bagels, they stand out in their own way, delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. If you’re in Ventura, I highly recommend stopping by, and honestly, once won’t be enough. Bagelicious Bagels is worth a few visits!

Fresh bagels! Lots of 🥪 options. Ingredients are fresh. Super generous with their toppings. Sandwiches are very hearty. I got the vegano sandwich on jalapeño bagel and the egg breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious!! Picked up a couple of sandwiches before going on our hike. Great local spot to check out if and around the Ventura County area.

Stopped in this morning for a breakfast bagel sandwich (everything bagel, egg, cheese and turkey sausage). They were very warm and welcoming. Appeared to be a family run business and they were working hard to make my fresh bagel sando. The bagel and egg were tasty and fluffy and there was a nice amount of turkey sausage. I ordered to go, but noticed their cute outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend this cute place! Muchas gracias! 🙏

Feel better after taking myself or a loved one to the doctor’s office next door. The bagels are unique with a soft texture and not as dense as a typical bagel. Think opposite of a Montreal bagel. Flavors are original too. A peanut butter bagel!

Best bagels in town. Unpretentious. Just quality bagels and down to earth local shop owners. It’s basically a hole in the wall. They make the bagels onsite. The specialty bagel sandwiches are delicious.

Hello, my brothers and sisters, La Central has been here of a very long, long time. When Oxnard was in its infancy, yet it is still here making authentic pan dulce Mexicano.. I am extremely disappointed with this bakery. This is my second visit here. During my first visit, I purchased a Mexican bread that tasted stale. I decided to give it another try this morning, but while eating my bread, I discovered a hair in it. I feel utterly disgusting for having paid for such an expensive item only to be unable to enjoy it. I will never purchase anything from this bakery again. Still bread and surrounded by homeless individual.

I can't get over how expensive masa is to make tamales but I have to say my tamales came out delicious 🤤

I was looking for homemade flour tortillas, but I decided to try the donuts and the muffins too. Number one tortillas around and a great place to buy your masa for your tamales and your sweet bread. This place has been around for years and years ever since the 80s from what I can remember and still going strong. Support your local tortilla company and buy the freshest flour and corn tortillas around. These are packages of tortillas you cannot find in the store and better than any of them around.

We just moved to Oxnard and the tortillas are CrAzY GOOD and homemade.

3) 2/17/2020: After my review on the wings, Mr. Del gave me a free order of wings. Let me tell you, they were delicious! Crispy and the sauce was good. You can tell by the photos which ones were good and which ones weren't. And as always, great pizza! 2) I went back and ordered wings (5 reg.& 5 hot), breadsticks, lg. pizza and a 2 liter (A special for $20.99). Pizza was delicious again, BUT the wings were not good. They were very chewy, I bit one and gave it to the dog. The breadsticks were okay, pretty plain. Will ONLY go back for pizza. 1) Ordered the El Gigante and it was delicious and great price: $15.99. First delivery is free. The other specials are good prices as well. Overall, it was big enough and tasty. Will go back.

The pizza and wings were really good and I will reorder. Delivery was prompt and the delivery guy was very nice. My low score comes from the salad. The salad looked great on top but the lettuce underneath was welted and slimy.

I thought I was ordering from poppa John’s but then my pizza showed up and it was from del’s, I don’t normally eat pizza but it was my sisters dinner treat, they got my order a little wrong I called and the guy who made my pizza totally apologized and was really nice he didn’t hesitate to make my order right and have it redelivered ☺️ first time trying pizza from this spot as well. I love finding those small gems of a restaurant and Del's is definitely one of those. My first time there: it was easy to order online and I had the meat pizza. I walked there from the office. The crust absolutely amazed me. I love a thick crust and theirs was exactly to my liking: thick but soft. I enjoyed the toppings but felt the sauce could have had a bit more oompf to it.

Tonight at in and out in Oxnard blvd, the female representative handed away my fries to a older gentleman that walked out of the restaurant and then walked back in with the order and she swapped the fries from his grasp for my order which I come to In-N-Out all the time and by the time I get home, the fries are still warm because I package it tightly. This time the fries were extra cold, and she was a bigger woman of Hispanic heritage and her eyes looked as if she was intoxicated on marijuana or some substance and she proceeded to apologize for making the mistake.,anyways I love in and out and the fact that they’re always on top of things and have high moral in general. If I felt like good time to talk with the team to wait until after work if they’re going to utilize marijuana unless it’s a medical issue. It seemed to take awhile for the order as well. It didn’t seem that busy either. It was order number 18. Anyways still love you guys, maybe next time I can get free fries

I want to recognize an outstanding employee at your drive-thru named Genesis. She truly deserves special recognition for the way she helped us during our visit. Genesis was extremely polite, patient, and respectful throughout the entire interaction. She went above and beyond by answering our questions about how the burgers were made, and the way she explained things was so clear and helpful. After Genesis kindly explained what we were wondering, a manager came out to add more detail. Unfortunately, the manager did not speak to Genesis or acknowledge her properly after that exchange, which came across as dismissive and rude. As customers we notice everything, most people just don’t say anything. That did not go unnoticed. What impressed me most, though, was how Genesis handled it. She remained completely calm, composed, and professional, keeping her focus on us as customers and continuing to be so polite and friendly. Employees like Genesis make a huge difference in customer experiences. She showed genuine care, patience, and excellent service that reflects the best of what In-N-Out stands for. I hope she can be recognized by the company for the outstanding job she does.

After a couple of hours at the driving range my twin grandkids wanted In n Out burgers, their favorite, they said.

My husband had to get In-N-out while we were visiting family in California. It was good, I hadn't had it in years since I lived on the West Coast so it was a fun treat. It was busy but didn't take too long to get our food. The staff was nice and accommodating to us and kept the place very clean. We will always grab it at least once every time we come to visit!

In-N-Out is the best hamburger joint ever. Not only do they serve great food but the employees are super friendly and polite. You may have a little bit of a wait but it's worth the freshness. In All In and Out always have plenty of parking.

The service was great, a totally helpful gentleman explained the menu in the drive through, we got the #1 which was two meats, two cheese and we got it and the fries Animal Style, which was awesome. Good tasty burger, not overdone, and delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

This place looked like it was closing down - the vibe is like so depressing and sad. Seriously- there was low lighting; it wasn’t inviting and the tables looked dingy. One person working that seemed so overwhelmed since there was a little line. Grant the ice cream was amazing and it was cool to bring the kids to experience the joy of Ben & Jerry’s but whoa 😳😭

We went, middle of the day, they only had 4-5 flavors, none of our first or second choices. We couldn't do Shakes. Most of the toppings were unavailable. Waffle cones were unavailable. When we finally settled on 3 Brownie sundaes with Chunky Monkey ice cream, we received brownies that were burnt and too solid and hard to break apart. We were only able to eat our 5th choice ice cream. The young guy working was pretty unhelpful, didn't offer any suggestions, and it took us a while to realize they offer free samples because he never offered. Seemed either generally unprofessional, or just uninterested in helping us. Mind you, we were the only customers there. Very underwhelming trip. Won't be going back, but if they have the flavors you want, then I suppose it's worth the trip for the novelty of getting your flavor in a shake or sundae.

Not only were they put of most ice cream but was so busy saying hi to his friends that he didn't even ask if we wanted another ice cream, and we did. And giving it free to friends was talking to his friends and people were leaving. I was here Sunday June 22 at 3:53pm

Really disappointed. Waited in line for 30 minutes on free cone day, only to be told that they don’t give out any non dairy flavors. Waste of time, and very sad. Not posted anywhere either wasn’t notified until I was at the front one the line, trying to order. I am unable to have dairy, so this location excludes people with allergies/dietary restrictions. Only caters to people who can have dairy. Very very disappointed.

Disappointing. The store seems run down, the ice cream display case was disorganized, one flavor we ordered was too melted for the employee to scoop so we couldn’t get that flavor and they were out of waffle cones (which we later noticed was mentioned in other reviews). The place just seems like the owner hasn’t put any effort into it in a long time. For how busy downtown is, it’s curious why the only ice cream place isn’t in better shape. Obviously the ice cream we could order tasted good but that’s the only good thing about this place.

I mean, it's Ben and Jerry's, it is delicious and high quality. And when you are used to frozen yogurt place prices, it is surprisingly inexpensive. The small size of ice cream is about $2.50 if memory serves. A good place to get chocolate peanut butter ice cream - not as common a flavor anymore it seems. It is a joy to stop by here on occasion. Not sure if we just always have good luck but I've never seen it with a wait.

I’ve been to many Five Guys locations, and this one is absolutely in my top three. The store is spacious and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy your meal. What stood out the most was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely happy. You can clearly see they enjoy working here, and that positive vibe really enhances the whole experience.

2 years later and food is still as expensive if not more. Got 2x grilled cheese and shake this time, came up to $21.71! . . . First time setting foot in Five Guys and wow the burgers and hotdogs are expensive! Only decided to check this place out because we have 40% cash back. What's nice is the free peanuts and the crazy amount of fries!! The burgers and hotdogs are decent

Cajon fries were awesome. My burger was wrong first but they remade it and then made up for it with a gift. Great food and will definitely come back.

I just found out that you can eat peanuts while you wait for your food for FREE! Food is amazing! The fries are delicious and they really give you extra! My daughter said she would rate their food a 100 out of 10. The staff is very nice and helpful. Food is pricey and maybe that is why people don’t come here as often. I will definitely be back!

Everything was okay. However the standard cheeseburger just fell apart and didn’t fit in my mouth. There were also 1-2 flies where I sat. One landed on the side of my milkshake. Other than that, they got my food out fast. The atmosphere is just about what you’d expect. It’s alright.

This time the food was prepared perfectly. The hot dog was very small and pricey. Finally! I received crispy fries. The drink came out of a self served soda machine. Which I liked. The restaurant was extremely clean. The Staff was quick at making my order.

Five guys is really expensive, the burger (patties) wasn't seasoned enough, too expensive, and the bread was soggy. When we ordered a cheese burger we asked for green peppers but they forgot it they also forgot to add whipped cream on my milkshake. This place may be good for other people but it certainly doesn't live up to its hype and it's TOO EXPENSIVE 😭✌️💔🥀.

Super disappointed. My first time trying chick fil a, food wasn’t even good, mac and cheese was super bland. They didn't even give me a fork so we had to tear our fry box to make something to eat it with. No napkins. Absolutely terrible experience….but the people were nice. Still not worth the money.

The best fast food chain anywhere in the country. First they have the best customer service anywhere, that is the biggest difference for me. The food is amazing, I love the Market Salad with Warm Grilled Chicken. I love the online curbside pickup I use it every time now. Update: Their breakfast is delicious as well. They do a great job with providing sauces that you ask for when ordering via mobile. Very surprised how good their Strawberry Jam was with the Bagel sandwiches.

This is my go to Chick Fil A ! I tried to go to the one in Camarillo as it's closer but I will keep driving to this location. The service is always great, the food is always hot and fresh! And if you use your app you get a random surprise reward sometimes, makes me feel valued for sure. Thank you to this location !!

Great location and everything was quick and good. Erica at the register was nice and helpful and Adriana was super friendly, and enjoying setting up an artwork table for kids and interacting with them. This restaurant is always very clean, excellent spot to go with your family.

Adriana in drive thru has horrible customer service. Looked annoyed the whole time. Was also rude when asked a simple question, that’s totally not okay because I wasn’t being rude to her whatsoever . Do better ! I always come here and it’s the first time this has happened to me.

I mean it’s jersey Mikes what are we expecting here? The service at this particular location is extremely slow. They’re VERY busy during lunch and dinner time. You won’t get your food for at least 30mins if go order online/mobile app. It’s usually kinda dirty inside. Stuff on the floor. Tables usually not cleaned etc. But again what are we all expecting here? It’s a fast food sub place. You get what you’re expecting it’s nothing special or amazing. I mean I’d go here for a quick bite. Enjoy your sandwich!

I realize things get busy… especially on a holiday weekend, but when someone pays $4-$6 for bacon and there’s non on the giant sub it’s very disappointing. The total price of 2 subs, one large and one mini was $33. Please pay attention to people’s orders. Especially when they pay extra for something and expect it to be on the sandwich. Do better please

Absolutely appalling we requested no jalapeños, we got jalapeños, they couldn’t be bothered to cut the sandwich. Not the first time but this will be the last. I Do not enjoy having to come home and dig through my food to remove food I am allergic to after paying Good money and to top it off all the insides are all over the inner bag upon opening … !!! DO BETTER !!!

Be careful at this location. I have tried them three times in recent times and all three times they messed up my order. They get you because it is not worth the gas money to go back over a missed ingredient, however this time they forgot something I paid extra for. My wife checked the food but didn't realize I added a topping. So stinking frustrating and I think three for three means I am to blame if I go back. Buyer beware!

Staff are kind of rude, they get food wrong a lot, and if you have allergies good luck! I watched them take gluten free bread that are sealed in packaging (designed not to be contaminated) and basically drag it through all sorts of contaminates. From the gloves not being changed, not putting any barriers in between to prevent contamination to pretty much anything else.

Needlessly slow service. Looks like the sloths in Zootopia in there. On multiple separate occasions, we’ve waited for the entire line to order before being told they were out of key ingredients (like bread). They’ve also been known to ask what toppings I want, and add the wrong ones even when I clearly stated just one topping. Regardless of the service, they have great subs. Tldr: great food, consistently poor staff

We ordered the veggie sub which is cheese and green peppers and they told us in the end when we asked about them that they didn’t have green peppers. We had to point out they didn’t put the green peppers on it seems like they weren’t going to tell us and just make it a cheese sandwich.

Food wasn’t horrible, wasn’t good either. I paid $18 for a small 10” pizza. 😳 I said wow out loud when the total came out. They charge for EVERY SINGLE TOPPING that goes in your pizza. $1.75 for the first one and $2 for the subsequent ones.. I had 3 toppings, Pepperoni, Onions and Green Bellpepper. The pepperoni had no kick, the peppers were cut up in small bits along with the onions which came out wet and soggy. I probably wouldn’t complain about the price if the food was top notch, but it’s not. Onions would’ve been better if it was cut up thin and longways along with the green bell peppers. Also, red onions would’ve been better so it’s a stronger taste which complements the sauce and pepperoni. Oh well, I had my expectations too high for what I was thinking as a hole in the wall. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

The Pizza Co is a no thrill takeout restaurant. The owners are very nice. You order at a window and there isn't a place for you to sit while you wait except next door at the micro brewery enjoyinga epic beer. Beer goes great with Italian food. I noticed the local Customers have patients waiting outside, because they like the food. The menu consist of hot and cold sandwiches, pastas, pizzas and salads. I ordered a 16 inch combo pizza and it was packed with tons of ingredients. Even with all the ingredients the middle of the pizza was cooked perfectly. Many local residents order from the Pizza Co.

The mark of a good pizza place besides the food (to me) is consistency. My pizza comes out the same way every time and it's within walking distance! They are about 10-20% less expensive than other pizzerias nearby too. Very friendly owners.

Finally tried this place. The owner of the bakery in the same shopping center had been telling me to try it and it was pretty good. You will love their pizza if you love cheese. Very gooey cheese and delicious. The sauce was great too. The pepperoni was okay but if you're looking for something other than big chain pizza give this place a try. I'll be coming back for sure.

Very delicious! I ordered the turkey sandwich. Online menu says only turkey and cheese, I called in to go, and they very kindly added lettuce, tomatoes and pepperoncinis to the sub, I don't think they even charged me for the extras. Great service and great food. I'll definitely return. The sandwich was so big, I had to save half for tomorrow.

I don't normally like leaving bad reviews like this but I spent nearly $30 on a 12" pizza that not only tasted and smelled cheap (including very 'plastic' cheese and cheap ready-made dough) but also very undercooked. Probably wouldn't complain if it was like $10, although still couldn't get myself to finish the pizza, first time I've ever thrown one out. Especially for the amount charged, it's out-right poor quality.

Ordered two double chars with cheese for take-out. Was eating my burger at home and chewed on something that was not edible. Took out a piece of some sort of packaging paper from the inside of my burger that was blackened. At first I thought it was an onion but I know it was not food because two of its edges were perfectly cut to a corner. Imagine eating your burger happily then come to find such a thing in your food. It ruined my experience. Will not be returning to this establishment for a long while. I don’t know what else might have been inside that thing. Bleh.

Ordered a plain cheeseburger, no ketchup for my kid and it showed up with ketchup. She took it from me and threw it directly in the trash which just seems so wasteful rather than just letting us keep it in case someone wanted to eat it. Trust that I did not fiendishly plan for the burger to be made with ketchup just to scam the store out of a free burger... why toss it in the garbage rather than seeing if one of us would eat it? We had spent more than $50 total for 3 adults and 2 kids, so it's not like we only ordered one thing secretly hoping it would be wrong so we could get a free second thing. When we finally got a remade burger, it came out looking like this with a very unappetizing bun. My own burger was also made incorrectly but I didn't bother sending it back, and the other food was not up to taste standards of other Habit locations we've been to.

Habit, Burger and grill was a unique place for my wife and I to stop at. We are over the road truck drivers waiting to pick up a load and we were craving a burger. We thought about going to In-N-Out but we also know that is traditional fast food. We decided to go to habit Burger due to good reviews on their food. The food that we received was fresh and moderately hot. It really wasn't much difference compared to your other Burger chains except for the fact of the avocado fries. Now those were something special. The service was lackluster for someone who just takes your order and then throws your food on the counter and calls your name. The restaurant itself was moderately clean with limited noise. The restaurant was set in a strange area. Near office buildings and next to a noodle place. The only complaint we have is the bathroom was absolutely disgusting in the restroom. My wife went in there and was absolutely appalled by the mess that was on the floor and elsewhere in the bathroom. Habit Burger that's one thing that you need to address and keep up with because that's a huge turn off to a customer. It makes you wonder what your kitchen looks like.

The food & service is always great at this location but unfortunately today I received my order incorrectly. I ordered a double char burger meal with no mayo & no pickles and paid extra for bacon & avocado (keep in mind it is pretty pricey for the add ons) when I received my order I only received the burger with a single patty with pickles & a large amount of mayo, with no pickles or avocado, it seemed like they didn’t read my order and just made it to their liking, I mentioned it to their team and they said they would fix it unfortunately it took about another 15 minutes to receive it and my other food had already gotten cold and my shake was melted. I had also requested a bbq sauce when I first got my order and they said I can only have 1 sauce and I would have to pay extra if I wanted 1 more so I said never mind it was fine since there was already a line of customers, when they brought me my corrected burger she then proceeds to bring me a free bbq sauce for the inconvenience which I didn’t need it anymore if my food had already gotten cold for waiting, I hope this doesn’t happen next time.

Ive been going here for a long time and this past month the new owner raised the price by ~25% for the whole menu. The food was the same quality and size, the price was just a lot more expensive with no warning. They already knickle and dime you for everything (have to pay for soda refills and limit on salsa bar and toppings). It looks like they are going to redo the whole place and maybe become a sitdown which would make sense for the price spike, but it just really sucks they increased the price before the upgrades. This was my go to affordable place for good Mexican Food but its no longer that. I didn't want to tank the ratings because a business does have to make money, but I feel like they took advantage of my loyalty. I probably won't be coming back.

This place has amazing value!! You can get the giant El Rey burrito for only $14 that is enough to fill 3 people up! Splitting this big burrito makes it so cheap and worth the price! I'd say their meats and flavors are mediocre but the price and amount of food you get makes this place a worth it location to try. Not to mention if you dine in, you get to add as much sauces as you want and make your own wet burrito.

One of my favorite taqueria style Mexican restaurants. I've been eating here since I was in high school in 2006. Loved the giant El-Rey burrito. Many great memories here with my dad, my brother and grandfather. You'll will be missed Burrito Express!

Very delicious! Salsa is on point as well. We ordered a chile verde burrito and an asada burrito and added a chile relleno for an addt'l $3

Love this place an they updated their open time to start at 7 makes me very happy. Also there juices are amazing if you get a chance go check this place out

Burrito is 10$ online but i went in store and i had to pay 15$. Prices are stated on the board and the prices you can see arent the same you receive. Burrito was cold

I went this last Sunday with a friend to eat the worst menudo ever, old dark menudo mixed with the new one! If you are an expert on how the pancita looks like when is fresh, you must know how it is when it’s old and here is an example, the clear ones are new, the others maybe frozen from last year. Never Come back again
