Sights & Landmarks
Dinh Cau, also known as Cau Temple, is a small shrine located on a natural rock at Bach Dang Street in Duong Dong Town. Built in 1937 to honor Thien Hau, the goddess of the sea, it is believed to protect fishermen venturing into the open sea.
Very beautiful place of worship here. I’m not religious but I found it peaceful even though there were a lot of people there (mostly tourists) including myself. The view up top was nice even if the sun was hidden in the clouds. Highly recommended

Visited Dinh Cậu, Phu Quoc, and it was such a peaceful spot to spend some quiet time by the sea. The place has a calming vibe, and the strong breeze makes it feel refreshingly alive. The beach nearby is absolutely beautiful, perfect for just sitting back and soaking in the views. The unique architecture and the lighthouse add a special charm to the place, making it even more picturesque. Although the rain made it a bit difficult to explore fully, the serene beauty of Dinh Cậu still stood out. Definitely worth a visit on a clearer day! 🌊💨✨

Small beautiful temple with great view. Dedicated to the sea. And with a cute small lighthouse. Many local people love to visit and then you can walk to the end of the pier. Very lovely atmosphere in the square in front.

Beautiful temple to visit. Right next to the duong dong harbour so perfect for a quick stop

Temple with a beautiful sea view when the weather is good. Free entrance and not so crowded. Many local people are chilling by the sea before sunset after a day’s work.

Beautiful little Temple in the heart of Duon Dong next to the river estuary and marina where the fishing boats bring in the early morning catch for the nearby market.
Moyra S — Google review
There are no restrooms near the temple, and the path leading to it has an unpleasant mix of food waste and urine odors. However, the area around the temple is clean, and the ocean is beautiful. I donated money while wishing for luck and success in gambling at the two gods enshrined in this temple. Please help me out! -BOFF

I really enjoyed visiting the local market to see what is available and what the locals really eat. I had a chance to talk to this old couple at their broken rice shop inside the run-down Duong Dong market. (They are located in the corner) The nicest people in Phu Quoc and so genuine. They reminded of my own grandparents. Food are fresh. Fruits are also fresh and seasonal. Hustle and bustle. I actually enjoyed it so much I went into the market 3 timeswhile I was at Phu Quoc. The only thing I didn't give it 5 stars because it was wet and dirty. Which is expected in the wet market.

Dương Đông Night Market is a lively and bustling destination located in the center of Duong Dong town on Phu Quoc Island. The market is known for its vibrant atmosphere, colorful stalls, and enticing aromas that fill the air. Nice little night market. Lots of pearl shops, small bars and streetfood BBQ. Didn't actually take photos of the market itself. Google, they're all there 😆

A lot of food options! A lot of inexpensive stuff around. Just I dont like the typical vietnamese vendor who are so grumpy and one didnt even allow me to take video of just the fruit 🙄 not as crowded as other night markets I‘ve been to in SEA. There are shops here selling surplus from famous brands like crocs, northface etc. I bought a pair of crocs for 300k dong. If there are not so many people they can give it as low as 250k dong! Around 10usd
Being B — Google review
Not a great market. 90% of stalls were seafood, peanuts, ice cream, crocs or pearls. Food we had was average and more expensive than outside market area.
Tam C — Google review
A great night market with lots of food choices, mostly focused on seafood. It is hectic and crowded and some of the larger seating restaurants are just okay with food being average. Make sure you check the menus at the front of the restaurant before committing.
Russell S — Google review
Just not my type of market. Felt a little hesitant to try the seafood. Just played safe and had some standard dishes, but it wasn’t that good. As a traveller and had been to many night markets in the world. This is one of the worst I’ve been.
Nancy C — Google review
I’d give this a miss unless you’ve never experienced a night market before. Maybe. But this one doesn’t feel at all authentic. I expected great and affordable seafood being on an island filled with fishers, but the prices were very steep. It’s clear this market exists only for tourists. I can’t imagine locals having any reason to go here. Best part of our visit was the rolled ice cream - pick your own fruits and watch it all come together with all natural ingredients! Highly recommend!
Sarah B — Google review
Stayed nearby just to visit the market. It’s overrated and overpriced. The same stuff is sold in most of the stalls in the market. So if you visit 1 staff no need to visit the rest. The seafood restaurants are terrible and not fresh seafood, be careful. You don’t want to get sick. I don’t recommend and would not come back

Seafood restaurant
Crab House is a popular seafood restaurant located in Duong Dong, Phu Quoc Island. It offers a great selection of seafood dishes and has received positive reviews for its delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant's prime location near the beach makes it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings. With its inviting atmosphere and delectable cuisine, Crab House is a must-visit dining destination for seafood enthusiasts visiting the area.
Before visiting the restaurant, I checked out some reviews on Google and TripAdvisor. There were plenty of good ones, but also a few not-so-great comments. Still, when I saw some of the photos, I decided to give it a try because I really love seafood dishes covered in rich sauces—and honestly, I think I made the right choice. The food was delicious! The prices were a little higher compared to other restaurants in the area, but the portions were generous and the quality was excellent. They served bread along with the seafood combo, which also came with lots of veggies. I ordered some steamed rice on the side to enjoy with their special sauce, and it paired so well with everything. I left feeling very full and satisfied. Afterwards, I grabbed some pastries from the coffee counter downstairs to take home since I couldn’t eat any more at the table. The service was also wonderful—friendly and professional. The staff kept the atmosphere calm and private, without any unnecessary noise, and everything was done quickly and smoothly. I was really happy with the experience. Maybe some of the negative reviews I read earlier were just unlucky experiences, or perhaps the style of the restaurant simply didn’t match those guests’ tastes. But for me, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try—not only for the food, but also for the lovely little souvenirs you can pick up here.
Việt N — Google review
The portions here are really generous. We ordered a set meal meant for four to five people, but it was easily enough to feed six. The seafood sauce was absolutely delicious — perfect for dipping French bread. The staff were very attentive and happily helped separate all the crab shells from the meat. After dinner, you can even stop by the gift shop to pick up some of your favorite local products.
Rico L — Google review
Food was okay. Seafood might not be of the best quality in town, but they have their unique sauce that we love. So if you want something different, try this! Service is top notch. Kudos to Phuc for his very tentative and great serving to our table.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place is just a few steps from the night market — super convenient! Yes, prices are a bit on the higher side, but trust me, it’s worth every bite. The flavors are absolutely Thai-approved ❤️ and the Crab House Sauce is a must-try! Such a comforting and satisfying meal — totally worth it for a heart-healing dinner!

The seafood boil was fresh and flavorful, the fried crab was crispy and rich, and the spring rolls were light and refreshing. A perfect mix of texture and taste!

We started with fresh, flavorful oysters a perfect way to open the meal. The main highlight was the fresh seafood paired with Crabhouse’s signature sauce, beautifully complemented by warm bread. Every bite was rich and satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, the space was stylish and comfortable, complete with air-con for a truly relaxing dining experience.

Ra Khoi Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Duong Dong, Phu Quoc Island. Located in the heart of the town, it offers a variety of seafood dishes and has garnered positive reviews from travelers. The restaurant is part of the vibrant culinary scene in Duong Dong, which features a mix of local eateries and international dining options. Visitors to this area can explore the diverse range of flavors and cuisines while enjoying the picturesque surroundings.
Amazing and fresh seafood at Ra khoi, This spot has a nice mix of locals and tourists, and the food is fresh and delicious. We ordered the seafood fried rice, which had a great crisp from being perfectly charred in the wok. The calamari was very fresh, the oysters were flavorful, and the morning glory—always a favorite in Vietnam—did not disappoint. Service was a little on the slower side, but still attentive and friendly. A big plus is the secure scooter parking available with someone watching over it. Overall, a great dining experience with quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Disappointing food, over rated stars and suspect no truth in the reviews. Cockles became bloody scallops in their menu and these are totally not fresh at all. Fortunately the staff are attentive enough to take the cockles back and cancel the orders. Kudos for the honesty. Then the oyster omelette have no oysters at all. While the sweet n sour pork rib are tough to chew. If you have to go then order the simplest stuff that cannot go wrong. Forget about seafood choices as you will be sorely disappointed

This restaurant has a relaxed and spacious setting, perfect for a casual meal with family or a group of friends. The atmosphere is comfortable with fans but could be improved if there was AC. Service was excellent – the staff were friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including the Canh Chua with Fish, Stir Fry Greens, and Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour profiles were generally well-balanced, though a little on the lighter side. This could easily adjusted with salt, pepper or soy sauce condiments on the table. The fish in the Canh Chua was slightly overcooked. The Stir Fry Greens, on the other hand, were cooked perfectly with a nice bite. My personal favourite dish was the Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour combination was well balanced and fragrant. The menu is extensive and can be overwhelming to read and pick. I recommend looking at pictures of the dishes online beforehand to ensure you know what you're ordering and will be happy with your choices. Overall enjoyable meal, value for money.

One of my go-to places on the island and will keep coming back here any next time I’m back to the island. Fresh seafoods as always, exceptional hygiene for a local Vietnamese restaurant (especially the toilets), very friendly and enthusiastic staffs, fast service, good atmosphere. The only comment to improve your foods is that for those garlic fried dishes or butter garlic fried dishes should you put less flour because the flour will make the food taste. Thats all, everything else there is almost perfect for me
Nguyễn A — Google review
Good lunch, we were taken here by our brother who works locally. Seafood is fresh and plentiful, prices mid-range. We thoroughly enjoyed Flower crabs, ca trinh salad and mushroom Tram soup with seafood, which apparently is a local delicacy. Oyster was big but not impressed. Lots of seating options, fast service, clean toilets. We had 1.8mil VND among 5 of us. Would recommend.
Loran A — Google review
The staff were friendly and always served us promptly with our orders. There was a large TV in the main hall, but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud, and the food was also quite good. There were perhaps a few too many ice cubes in the orange juice, but other than that, we enjoyed our visit and can recommend this restaurant.

Xin Chao Seafood Restaurant stands out as a top choice for seafood dining by the sea. Despite its reputation as a tourist spot, it's actually popular among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers stunning views of the sea and sunset from its spacious terrace, creating a romantic setting for diners to enjoy their meal. With an array of live seafood options to choose from, friendly English-speaking staff, and clean cozy interiors, Xin Chao provides good value for money.
I had a really great experience at Xin Chao Seafood Restaurant. I visited twice during my trip, each time sitting in a different area. If you want the most romantic sea view, I recommend sitting on the ground floor. The portions are generous, prices are quite reasonable, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. I even got a complimentary appetizer, which was a nice touch. One thing to note: the prices on the menu don’t include VAT, but the staff made sure to inform us clearly before ordering. Also, if you’d like your dishes to be served one after another instead of all at once, just let them know. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and will definitely come back on my next trip to Phu Quoc.

Really good fresh seafood. They have live tanks and you order what you want and they’ll bring you the bucket full of your live order to check which was cool. Everything was great, especially the mud crab in green pepper sauce. Was on the expensive side though. For two people we went overboard and got mantis shrimp, abalone, mud crab, snails and herring salad and drinks it cost just over 2 million đồng. Worth it though and we definitely ordered too much

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Fresh, Delicious, and Memorable Seafood Experience in Phú Quốc We had such an amazing dining experience at Xin Chào Seafood during our trip to Phú Quốc. From start to finish, everything was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. One of the highlights for us was the manta. We ordered a lot of it, and every single plate was spot-on — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. You could really taste the freshness of the seafood, which is exactly what you want when eating by the ocean. The cobia was another standout. It had a beautiful texture and a clean, rich taste that really showcased how good Vietnamese seafood can be. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right — simple, so the natural flavor could shine. We didn’t just stick to seafood, though — the chicken was also excellent. Moist, flavorful, and well-seasoned, it balanced out the meal perfectly and showed that the kitchen handles more than just seafood exceptionally well. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the setting was relaxing, with a nice local feel and a view that really reminds you you’re on an island. Everything felt fresh, from the ingredients to the atmosphere. Overall, Xin Chào Seafood is the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished your meal. If you’re in Phú Quốc and want truly fresh seafood (and great chicken too), this is absolutely a must-visit.

We came without reservation we were sitead without problem. The restuarant is big, hiwever if you want specific table its better to reserve as most tables with food views were reserved. The seafood was fresh and very well prepared, it was amazing. However the service could be better, they were not attentive and it was difficult to get their atrention. Also since its a touristy place, they should explain how to eat or prepare certain dishes.

Recommended by a local as must try for seafood so we went for dinner since it's walking distance from our hotel. Huge place with seaview, too bad was raining when we were there. The rice took a long time to come but other than that the food and service were efficient and friendly considering how busy they were. Bonus points for the free spring rolls which other places are charging 80-100k VND. All the seafood we ordered was fresh and tasty, prices are very reasonable compared to the other seafood restaurants we been on the island. They were even nice enough to lend us umbrella to go back to the hotel as it was still raining by time we finished dinner. You won't go wrong here judging by the number of locals around you.

Somebody feels that they were scammed, but the final price depends on the amount of food you took and maybe different dishes have different costs, didn't you think? The food was definitely a highlight of the trip! They excel at both Vietnamese and Western food. Rec the goi ca trich if you wanna try authentic Viet food. I was so happy that they have live music too. The singer is Sovi, a Hong Kong singer, quite lowkey but great original songs! The view is amazing, i can watch the waves for hours!

The food is average. I couldn’t taste the four cheeses in the pizza and crust is normal. The rice cracker below the coconut chicken was very hard but the chicken was nice. Pork belly was tough but tasty. Basically just come here for the views (request to sit on the deck. We spent $1.6m for three of us.

We had a good lunch there. Would have stayed for dinner but its fully booked for the day. It was quite a pricey place but understand its for the view.

Location is great, service is very good, quite pricy though. We had several things to eat: the tuna tataki as appetizer was very good and fresh, the signature dish “Coconut Black King fish” was delicious and the signature dessert as well. However, I would not recommend the linguine Silk clams… so much pepper and other spices (even though I explicitly asked no spicy) that the dish had no other taste than that.

This place is just heavenly. The staff are lovely and clearly keen on providing you with the best experience. It’s on the pricier side compared to most places but you’re paying for the beautiful view and ambiance. And it’s worth it. Everything is beautiful and pristine. The food has decent portions and is well flavoured.
