My only complaints are there is a sign that states no driving off course on holes 1,5,17 and 18 but our cart automatically went to crawl speed anyway(They have electronic screens and GPS units in each cart that will slow your cart if you try to take it where its not suppose to be.) on at least 7 other holes (not all but most) when we tried to leave the cart path to get our golf balls. Also this is the first place I've seen that had screens in the carts that you can interact with that tell you how far from the hole you are, how far you hit the ball, the hole layout, and you can even order food before getting to the club house if you want. Pretty ingenious and nifty i think. Anyhow there was a duck that looked like it got ran over by the lawn mower on the 16th hole and just left there by the grounds crew. Lastly most professional style courses I've been to have a drink/cart person that goes around selling drinks and this is a huge course that could use one. Other than those small things we were very pleased and we even had a beginner who had her first time on a course today and she had a blast. (They also have special tee boxes set up on each hole for beginners to use so it makes the course way less challenging for them.) Which is a great thing because there are a ton of houses on the sides of almost every hole. We are thinking of getting memberships here so if you are looking for a club/course to call home that won't burn your wallet up check this place out. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Lots of unique features and the sand trap architecture is a welcomed.chamge from everything else in north Florida. The course is going to be even better when trees and native grass mature. The course will also look fantastic in the warmer months. Staff was friendly and helpful. I can't understand why the developer chose gas carts as I find them to be laggy and loud, but they do have GPS. The course layout is cool because it brings you back to the clubhouse after hole 6 and at different intervals to allow you to play more options than just 9 or 18. The greens, tee boxes and fairways are all in great shape and the greens have differing levels of difficulty and topography which makes the course fun and challenging. We've been wanting to play this course for a while, although it wasn't in superb condition given we just had a very chilly cold spell for North Florida but overall we were very happy with the course. Long term I can't see this course making due with $100+/round. If I'm going to pay $120-150 for a round (which is not the norm for us/me) I'd probably opt for WGV courses as they are always pristine and fun courses. Look the course is fun, exciting and well kept for now but it's not a $100+/round level course on the regular. Locals should make it out and give this course a go. With Cimmarone, South Hampton and St. Johns GCC, World Golf Village all nearby there are options.
