Pick up was 9:30 at Eastern Passage and where on the island by 10 hiked almost 10 miles (9.7 by cellphone tracker). Room - we had Rhubarb room #2 which is over the kitchen end of the restaurant so we knew when booking that it would be noisier so just be aware that it is - the hours of operation are 11:30 to 8 however they need to prep in the morning so they are there early at 6:30-7 am so no sleeping in unless you have ear plugs this is not a criticism just an awareness. We were good with it as we got up early to get about our day. The view from the deck on our room was spectacular and a great place to sit as long as the weather is good. The room does not have a chair to sit in which I did make the suggestion to add even a couple of good folding chairs in the closet that could be used. The shower was heavily impacted by the kitchen as well which I also let the resort know about. Overall the room was fine it could just be better with a couple of little tweaks. The common areas are lovely and allow you to enjoy different areas of the resort. The breakfast is bar none the best included breakfast we have had. It is a buffet style, but they take the extra step to make your eggs and bagels fresh to order. The breakfast staff were very welcoming. We would recommend a stay at this resort and we will return.

May I say ALL staff were EXCEPTIONAL from check in to check out - the smiles, the welcomes. From Anita, who served us at their restaurant, the Drift (great food) to breakfast at the same place in the morning. To the gentleman who offered me warm milk for my tea (apologies, I didn't get his name) at breakfast. And ... to the amazing housekeeping team who kept our room immaculately clean. A quick story - my husband and I ordered some quick treats for our flight back the night before our flight through Skip The Dishes. Needless to say Skip didn't show up. We briefly mentioned our story to the front staff and the fact that I didn't get my Bounty chocolate bars :-( - yes, I was being a baby :)!! The next morning before our checkout, Anna (Guest Experience) came to our room with Bounty chocolates that were presented to us in a beautiful gift bag accompanied with a touching letter. She said this was from the team. We were in shock yet touched and incredibly grateful to how thoughtful and generous they were to think of us - that they actually remembered our chat with them in passing as my husband and I went for dinner the night before. To the AMAZING staff at the front desk - Tajee, Julia, Joshua who went above and beyond in being so kind and gracious. My husband is currently a Titanium member (nearing Ambassador) with Marriott and we have truly never experienced this type of service before whereby we were not only treated as guests but as ... family.
