My best friend asked politely if she could swap the contents of her full English (egg/tomato/mushroom) for extra bacon, hash brown and sausage etc and was told this was against the “rules” by a poor young waiter who had basically been thrown to the wolves- and seemed to be running the whole restaurant alone- we have never had an issue with this at any other cafe/ restaurant. After the poor service and food, we went to pay and explained to the waiter that we were severely disappointed with the service we had received, no reprimands were made by the restaurant to rectify their mistakes and we were charged full price for the full English that had half the contents removed. The staff couldn’t organise a p*ss up in a brewery and I wouldn’t bother unless you want waste you day.
