I surprised my husband to a fantastic Chinese dinner, He and I had never been there before, and we were really interested in the menu because they have foods that other restaurants don't carry including duck and fish. When you walk into the restaurant the first thing you notice is how clean it is, then you just see the yellow tablecloths and how nice everything is inside the tables are too close together so that you feel like you're dining alone when you're not. I ordered the general tsos chicken in my husband got the sweet and sour chicken and then we both got wonton soups. When they presented the meal they said it on a rack with little tea light candles underneath so not only is your plates getting warmed but your food is also being warmed while you're eating it. It's just a great idea. And then to top it off we had a great waitress her name was Rebecca and she was great since I hadn't been there before I asked her for recommendations and her recommendations were very good. They have a piano a grand piano and she informed us that on Fridays and Saturday nights they play piano on those nights. We are definitely coming back and I'm going to bring my parents next time because I thoroughly think they will enjoy it. Especially if we go in the evening on a Friday or Saturday. Its hard to find a good chinese restaurant around Saginaw. I found panda house by chance and was very surprised on the food and atmosphere. I like how they put your food over burners to keep your food warm while you eat. Plus as a bonus they do have some one playing the piano which is actually nice. An unexpected treasure! Myself and my friends came here during a bachelorette weekend, and were surprised! The neighborhood was a bit sketchy, so we had some low expectations. But wow! Peter & Chia’s often sell out because the product they deliver is SO outstanding. Their generous menu offers dishes that have been perfected, with items for every palate & diet. (Even offering an entirely separate vegan menu!) Every dish is made-to-order, and the quality is evident! I’ve personally really loved their Thai basil fried rice & Panang curry, but I’d recommend anything on the menu— each meal is loaded with fresh vegetables and herbs to pack powerful flavor, and the owner has said they specially keep the meals low sugar and free from unnecessary additions. The meals are prepared as if for family, and guests are treated like friends— owner Chia is so friendly and personable, and has gained many regulars.
The restaurant itself is small, with much personality, and offers a couple tables for eating in, but all meals are prepared to-go.
Please be mindful to order in advance, as wait times can be lengthy due to the fresh, individual preparation of each meal. I promise, it’s SO worth it.

Awful location, store skimped me in fried rice, filling it only half way when the other customers bowls have more, staff refused to put more food in my bowl saying thats the most they can put in when other locations fill their bowls to the top. On top of that, my last visit there, they gave me broccoli beef with what i assume is a grub in my food. Used to come here at least every 3 weeks to a month 5 years back. Portions were great, food was great, and prices weren't bad at all. Nowadays they have small containers, higher prices, and as others have mentioned the dough balls and over breaded small bits. 2022 update: Decided to give this place another try after a year of avoiding it, and the food was great! The bourbon chicken and lomain noodles combo tasted amazing. I got the sesame chicken lunch which was absolutely delicious and the teriyaki chicken which was not great like it usually is. What I was served was incredibly charred to the point that the majority of the chicken on the stick was hard and crunchy. So happy to have found this restaurant. My family was passing through Saginaw and found this gem of an eatery. The menu has authentic dishes as well as familiar American favorites. The mapo tofu was delicious, the tofu was very creamy. The portions were huge, easily lasting 3 meals. The owners were sweet and they clearly care about what they serve. The waitress was well spoken and informed about the menu. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. Don't miss this place!

Egg drop soup was good. Hot sour soup seemed to be missing something. Spring rolls were greasy and mushy. Hunan chicken was decent. I legit read reviews before ordering and based off of most of them I chose Hunans. Bad mistake. I places a pick up order on the phone. First off, I could hardly understand the lady who answered (not due to language barriers, she was Caucasian), I thought she said my total was $25 for 2 meals and a side of crab cheese. I arrived to be surprised it was actually $35. Okay, whatever, I paid obviously. $35 for 2 meals seems like a lot to me. Especially when I got home to see the portion size. Unbelievable. The pictures speak for themselves. My sweet & sour chicken was 75% burned. I mean literally burned. The other 25% tasted like month old frying oil. Horrible. The crab cheese had almost no crab or cheese. Look at the picture. I did not alter my order in any way. I just broke it in half. I'm probably not even going to call because I'm sure they won't care. We will see. $35 for this?! Unreal.

I was already skeptical on ordering from here due to the location and not ever having it before. Service was nice, there was only one man working. The kitchen looked dirty.. but i tried to look past that due to the good reviews on google. Everything looked good and for the most part tasted good until i opened my sweet n sour sauce and I noticed a fly in there. I am very upset because that pretty much ruined my whole appetite. Our new Favorite Chinese take-out place!! The Menu's have coupons on the bottom. We bought a General Tso's Chicken dinner, an Orange Chicken combo plate that included shrimp fried rice and an egg roll, and I ordered the large size Egg Drop Soup with 2 bags of crispy fried noodles... all that food for $30!!!
