Buffet restaurant
Experience a vibrant night out at Rafain Churrascaria Show in Foz do Iguacu, where you can immerse yourself in Latin American culture and folklore. This popular tourist attraction offers a Dinner with Latin American Show featuring performances from eight countries, including Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
The Rafain Show in Foz do Iguaçu is a lively and entertaining cultural experience. Combining a buffet-style dinner with a colorful musical performance, the show highlights the rich diversity of Latin American culture. The performers showcase traditional music and dance from countries like Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and others, making it a vibrant celebration of the region’s heritage. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including Brazilian barbecue and international options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. While the food is decent, the real highlight is the energy and skill of the performers. The costumes, live music, and dance routines create a festive and immersive atmosphere. Though it can feel a bit touristy, the Rafain Show is a fun way to spend an evening, especially for those looking to experience the cultural richness of South America in one place. It’s a perfect complement to a trip to Iguaçu Falls.
Jenny N — Google review
The restaurant offers a wide buffet with plenty of food options and good steaks. However, the dancing show was too long and ended up feeling boring. The cultural performance didn’t make much sense—it felt out of place, especially since you’re already in Brazil and can experience authentic culture elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend the dinner-and-show package. It’s only worth visiting for the food.
Providential M — Google review
Unfortunately, the dinner was not very good – the combination of shrimp with charcuterie felt strange and didn’t work well. The show itself was nothing special, quite repetitive and at times even boring. You could clearly see that many guests were not engaged and looked rather uninterested. It would have been nice if the performers had interacted more with the audience, for example by encouraging people to dance. The samba part, which many were looking forward to, came only at the very end, was very short, and honestly not well executed. The service itself was good and the staff were friendly, but the tables, chairs, and overall setting were uncomfortable and not very pleasant. Overall, a disappointing experience that has a lot of potential but needs much improvement.
Naila C — Google review
Nice touristic place with a great variety of food and drinks. During nightime there‘s a show with Central American dances.
Ralph S — Google review
Rafain Churrascaria Show was amazing! The live performance featured traditional dances and songs from many South American countries. The buffet was also impressive, offering a wide variety of grilled meats, salads, and much more. A great experience overall!
Suciu I — Google review
Came here as a stop from Argentina to eat, meats here are good, tastes wonderful, it’s a good Buffett if you’re not picky with food. Service is good and fast and the Buffett is always full, they don’t serve coke/pepsi here incase you are looking that.
Jasz G — Google review
I recently visited a Brazilian BBQ buffet restaurant, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was lively, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The highlight, of course, was the endless selection of perfectly grilled meats. From juicy picanha to tender lamb and flavorful sausages, every bite was delicious. The servers constantly brought fresh cuts to our table, ensuring we never had an empty plate. The buffet also had a great variety of salads, side dishes, and traditional Brazilian flavors like pão de queijo. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. If you love BBQ, this place is a must-visit!

Empório com Arte is not your typical restaurant; it's more of an art gallery, bistro, and café all rolled into one charming blue wooden house. The establishment is located in one of the city's oldest houses from the 1940s, which has been restored to preserve its original features. The menu features fresh food, including produce from their own garden, as well as traditional Brazilian dishes, delightful drinks, and desserts.
What a wonderful experience here! Luiz greeted us, even though we didn't have a reservation, and kindly translated the menu into English for us. The entire staff was very helpful and made sure we felt right at home. We enjoyed browsing through works by local artists while sipping on a refreshing mixed fruit caipirinha. It was such a warm and welcoming experience in Foz do Iguaçu. With delicious food, great company, and a beautiful atmosphere, what more could anyone ask for?

More than any words able to comments. Super friendly service, super tasty dishes, and super nice restaurant. The must visited place part from Iguaçu Fall.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We loved the food, the atmosphere was amazing! If you want to try local food and see local artists this is definitely the place to go! 10/10!!!
Jasmina O — Google review
Amazing from the get-go. The host gave us the full translation of the menu including recommendations. My partner was able to customize her meal for her onion and garlic intolerance. All the food is cooked fresh.
Mr W — Google review
One of the best dining experiences we had in Iguazu. The food was incredible, and our server Maria Luiza was outstanding — she shared the history of the place, walked us through the menu, and gave us fantastic recommendations.
Nishal S — Google review
Absolutely amazing food. A lot of vegan options too. Menu is in Portugese but the staff is more than happy to translate in very good English with a lot of passion, heart and enthusiasm. Highly recommend the duck, roasted beetroot, mash potatoes and caramelized onion main. The vegan potato croquette with banana peel and hummus filling is delicious. Really enjoyed the vegan banana pancake for dessert, which was warm, soft and tasty.
Wai-yee P — Google review
I loved everything about this restaurant and can’t say enough about how wonderful it is. It is by far the most interesting and unique place to eat in Iguacu and definitely throughout all my travels in Brazil. The artwork that surrounds you is by various artists from the area. I wanted to buy everything. The food and service was exceptional. Luis explained the entire menu to us in perfect English and made our evening a delight. We’re planning on coming back again in two nights to have another great experience. Do not miss going to this restaurant. It wins in all categories. We absolutely adored it!!!!
Lucinda C — Google review
Wow!! This place is incredible! Such cute art, very attentive staff , and as a celiac and grgan, they had delicious vegan croquettes, pão de queijo, and banana crepes for dessert ! So many options and my husband who eats meat was very happy too! Would definitely go back!

The Ecomuseum of Itaipu is a fascinating destination that delves into the story of the Itaipu Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric plants in the world. Visitors can explore exhibits that highlight not only the technology behind hydroelectric power but also its environmental implications. The museum features impressive models and artifacts from the dam's construction, providing a comprehensive look at how this monumental project has influenced local flora and fauna.
Absolutely perfect place.I loved the first part with globe and projection system from NASA.That was awesome experience! Also rest of exhibition was impressive.Go and visit.Tickets are for R$17 for adults.

Very interested museum, a mix of many themes, including the history of construction of the Itaipu dam with models of Dam and objects used in its construction. The place is organized and the facilities have all the support for the visitors.

One of the best museum tour I ever did. Really amazing to talk with someone that actually work in the dam construction. Also, the virtual reality visualization of the turbines is very interesting.
Fabiano S — Google review
It's a really cool and intresting museum! Went on holidays to Brazil with my boyfriend and we went to Foz do Iguaçu with his mom.. Really enjoyed the visit on this museum with the staff being really Nice, friendly and helpful.
Rafael V — Google review
Ok, I travel a LOT. Museums have all kinds of regulations. So I'm very careful to keep my most precious belongings, which I need to carry as an international traveler, in one TINY bag. Not a backpack. Not a messenger bag. Not a purse. But a bag JUST big enough for my passport, wallet and phone. It has never over years of traveling in multiple countries been an issue. So we pay the admission fee, and only then are told that NO bags are allowed. None. I am supposed to put my passport and wallet and phone and cash in a locker, or stuff it in my pockets, in a damp tropical climate where it is prone to downpours, in this complex which involves walking outdoors. Craziest thing I ever heard. Fabulous little museum ruined by this insane rule. I went along with it, against my every instinct as a traveler, only for the sake of the person I was with. This extreme, restrictive rule should be prominently displayed BEFORE customers purchase their tickets.
Beth C — Google review
Very cool. It's interesting to know about the Itaipu and Parana's history. Mr. Faustino was the high point of the visit, so much passion to told us the history of Itaipu was contagious.

Marco das Três Fronteiras in Brazil is a significant landmark that marks the meeting point of the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Situated near the convergence of the Iguacu and Parana rivers, it offers breathtaking panoramic views and a rich cultural experience. Visitors can explore an obelisk, Jesuit museum, restaurant, fountain, and playground on-site.
We thought it was pretty cool! The culture show is roughly 2-2.5 hours long starting at around 6:30. I would recommend getting here around 6 in order to get a good spot. The best spot is going to be directly facing the river and the monument. There was a great variety of styles of dance from all three countries throughout their histories, and several times where audience participation was encouraged!
Patrick C — Google review
Beautiful location overlooking the rivers, where the 3 countries border. Had to pay 60 Brazilian R to enter. There are various food and drinks stalls and a restaurant. At 6:30pm there was a show with dancing and talking about the history of the 3 countries, however it was all in Portuguese so we couldn't understand it! There's a big gift shop, toilets and there were a load of taxis out front.
Suzie G — Google review
Great experience. We went there around 4pm and took some pictures with the famous sign and then sat to see the cool show. It was fun. The weather was great and the sunset was beautiful
Saba S — Google review
A very cool thing to see, but unless there is a show, this is your basic tourist trap. The process to buy food is complicated and expensive. The photos cost money. They do have high quality apparel and merch.
Chelsea T — Google review
Quite a cool attraction. Other than the views and the restaurant/bar, there's not too much to do. But I would still recommend visiting.
Gavin H — Google review
Beautiful place to see the intersection of three countries. They also have an evening cultural show with performances and music. Great place to visit with family.
Abhijit S — Google review
You can view paraguay from the Brazil side. Also you can go on a ferris wheel for a fee and see Argentina and Brazil and Paraguay. Stayed for the free evening dance performances, which was fantastic. Lots of vendors to choose from for a variety of foods.

Hito Tres Fronteras, also known as the Three Borders Landmark, is a significant park located at the meeting point of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. This landmark features an obelisk painted in the colors of the Paraguayan flag and offers stunning views of the Iguazu and Parana rivers. Recently renovated, it now includes a lookout point and green spaces for visitors to admire the beauty of the trinational region.
FREE! Nice and quiet! Not crazy like in Brazilian side where you pay 55 reals (£8)… So yes.. Argentina side had nice little market where you could buy souvenirs and peacefully look at the river where three countries meet!
Nadira Y — Google review
Very interesting observation point. The view is impressive too. There is a nice souvenir shop nearby with decent variety. Also there is a taxi service as well which is very convenient if you want to return to your hotel quicker.
AK — Google review
A nice scenic view. There are a couple restaurants nearby and a row of vendors selling mostly souvenirs. There's a taxi stand and bus stop a few meters away if you're too tire to walk. There's a clean bathroom (ARS 200) behind the vendors area. Unfortunately, no one in this area speaks English. Don't visit in the middle of the afternoon. There's very little shades.
Amie K — Google review
Lovely place to see the sunset and there is often music and other things in the background around this time. Also lots of stores and vendors to check out if interested.
Steven L — Google review
Welcome to the Argentine side of the Three Borders—where Argentina politely waves at Brazil and Paraguay across two majestic rivers, and everyone agrees to disagree on who has the best view. This scenic spot is like a geopolitical group hug with a view! You stand on a peaceful riverbank, sip a cold drink, and say things like “Wow, that’s Brazil over there, and hey, that’s Paraguay! And here I am… still in Argentina… paying for empanadas with a 1,000 peso note and getting 25 pesos in change.” There are three big stone markers, each one proudly painted with a national flag. Or at least they were—right now they look like they’ve been through one too many rainy seasons and a political debate. A little touch-up and they’d be selfie-ready again. Think of them as the tired but lovable uncles at a family reunion. The restaurant nearby lets you dine right by the river, so you can argue with your travel companion about which country has the better cuisine while enjoying a plate of milanesa. Souvenir shops abound, selling everything from keychains to the kind of wooden parrots that only make sense on vacation. Also, the walk along the river is surprisingly serene. You might even find your inner philosopher while watching two mighty rivers merge… before remembering you forgot bug spray. (Seriously. Pack it. The mosquitoes here are tri-national and seem to have visa-free access.) The real highlight is the bridge between Brazil and Paraguay off in the distance. It’s beautiful, symbolic, and looks like it knows it's in a postcard.
Ulf D — Google review
Decent place to see the 3 different countries, some shopping around too, it's a quick stop if you're nearby.
Jozef W — Google review
Scenic viewpoint overlooking the meeting point of the Paraná and Iguazú rivers, where Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil converge. The area features several souvenir shops and a restaurant offering picturesque riverfront dining. Three distinct stone markers, each bearing the flag of one of the bordering countries, mark the tri-border location—though they could use a fresh coat of paint. Visitors can also enjoy a peaceful riverside walk, making it a great spot for both sightseeing and relaxing.
MJ “ — Google review
A great place to go at night. Lots of people there. There was a light show from each country that you could see and there was a large pedestrian market. The bathroom cost 50 peos.

(Translated by Google) I had the opportunity to visit the Trapiche restaurant in Foz do Iguaçu and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with incredible service. The staff were attentive and helpful, always with a smile on their face and ready to help with any questions or recommendations. The food at Trapiche is simply spectacular. The menu offers a variety of options to suit all tastes, but the highlights are definitely the seafood and high-quality Japanese food. The ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality, and the dishes were carefully prepared and presented. I can assure you that every bite was an explosion of flavor, and it is clear that the team at Trapiche really cares about providing an exceptional culinary experience. I was particularly impressed with the sushi and sashimi selection, which included fresh and succulent fish as well as creative and delicious options for those who enjoy Japanese cuisine. In addition, the seafood dishes, such as shrimp, lobster and fish, were mouth-watering and very well prepared. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a nautical-themed decor, and the river views provide a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable meal. In short, my visit to Trapiche was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it. The combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant one of the best in Foz do Iguaçu. If you are a fan of seafood and Japanese food, you cannot miss the opportunity to enjoy a meal at Trapiche. I look forward to returning and experiencing even more of what this establishment has to offer. A comida no Trapiche é simplesmente espetacular.

Madero Tango Iguazu is not just a restaurant, but one of the most traditional show venues in Argentina, known for its exceptional Tango Show. To provide tourists with a deeper immersion into Argentine culture, they now offer a Dinner Show option featuring a 6-course tasting menu. The performers' presence from the moment the curtain rises is breathtaking, with passionate support from a 5-piece folk band and incredible dancers on stage.
Absolutely stellar show for 35 USD. I walked there around 5 pm and got my tickets on the spot with cash. They also give free tokens for the casino so if you want to hit the slot machine some time, that’s also an option.
Saikhnaa — Google review
The show was excellent. There are options for dinner or just the show. The show is located in the casino so you can walk around the casino before or after the show or try your luck at the games. Less than a 10 minute ride from the bus terminal by taxi
Sergio G — Google review
The worst experience ever! Whilst the orchestra, dancers and singers are very talented the show itself coupled with the abrasive, condescending and unpleasant wait staff makes this experience very unenjoyable. We saw one couple leave early on and I wish that I had joined them. The audience was sparce with more empty tables than occupied ones, and they sat us right at the back where we had trouble seeing the show. We were told that it was because we only bought tickets to the show and didn’t pay for a dinner where we would have a VIP view. Further to this the waiters were constantly walking past and standing in front of us with no consideration to our view of the show. The commentary is all in Spanish with no English sub titles so it was wasted on us. The 1hr show started at 9:30pm which was a bit late for us after 2 full days at the falls. Don’t waste your money.

I would like to start my review with a huge thank you to the staff here! I made a mistake by ordering tickets on the wrong Madero Tango website accidentally and bought tickets to the Buenos Aires location. The staff honored my purchase even though the ticket offering I purchased wasn't available at this location. The food, show, and staff were all absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend going to the show if you are planning on being in the area.
Jerome J — Google review
Show advertised as 2 hours barely lasted an hour. The performance was mediocre if that. The food was bad. I ordered vegetable empanadas that were extremely salty. I asked for sangria wine and was told they have it only to get less than a half an glass of bad red wine. Didn't drink the wine but was still charged for it. Scamming people from beginning till end.
Paula M — Google review
Loved the show, the dancers and singers were amazing! We went for the show only, no dinner. Had an awesome time!

This was my first time at a Madero Tango show and I was thoroughly impressed! We booked the VIP reservation which included dinner, drinks (alcohol as well), 6 courses (4 dinner, 2 dessert), and great service. My glass was almost never empty. The doors open at 8pm, and you don't need to arrive exactly on time, the courses are paced to when you are seated individually. Of course the show itself is incredible with a live ensemble band including 2 violinists, a contra bass, an accordion, and piano; a wonderful singer, and 10+ tango athletes. All together, it has the feel of a Vegas show drawing the audience in with clapping, familiar stories (to a south America crowd), and lights, video, and dancing among the audience! My friend and I paid $90 per person and I would say the experience was well worth the price. The suggested gratuity is 10%. I highly recommend you check out their show!

Iguassu Secret Falls is a hidden gem nestled in the Foz do Iguacu region, offering an enchanting escape into pristine nature. Accessible only through ecological trails, this private reserve ensures that visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquility of untouched landscapes. Here, you can discover stunning waterfalls and natural pools surrounded by lush rainforests, providing a serene retreat from bustling tourist spots.
We had a great time today with our tour guide, Nick. 🫶🏻 We went down several different trails and saw a great variety of waterfalls. And the best part, we could go into every single one 😎 If you're looking for some wild water fun during your stay in Foz, this is definitely a recommendation for you. + the BBQ ribs at the lunch spot were godly 😋 ++ Very English friendly
Mariska M — Google review
This was a magical tour. Jeferson, the tour guide, provided abundant local knowledge with many opportunities to ask questions and pause to enjoy the natural beauty of the environment. There were lots of opportunities to enjoy nature, swim in the abundant secret waterfalls, and enjoy the beauty of the forest and the waterfalls without feeling rushed — we even got the chance to do some cliff diving near one of the waterfalls. I would strongly recommend this to anyone. The guide was so knowledgeable also about local plants and animals — particularly mushrooms! — and was so professional and engaging. I had a great time and can’t wait to go back. Definitely remember to bring shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet (and make sure they don’t slide!).
Ryan S — Google review
The mixture of the natural beauty and exercise was fabulous. Nick was not just an only excellent and knowledgeable guide in 3 languages (!), he also made sure that he met different needs of all the participants ( including age and fitness level). Thank you for an amazing day!

Wow this was a wonderful fully immersive experience of the Secret falls (lower falls NOT the Cataratas). Camily took us through hidden trails along the tributaries including crossing at various points & literally holding my hand to stop me falling in 🤭 she was knowledgeable about the surroundings and the plants and trees very much on her natural environment. We had the opportunity to swim but we weren’t brave enough!
Claire V — Google review
Camily and Nico were fantastic guides to an unforgettable day in the rainforest. This locally owned business is a show case for sustainable and eco friendly tourism. Safety first and knowledgeable guides, great lunch and plenty of waterfalls with opportunities to swim, take pictures and experience the flora and fauna (we saw wild monkeys!). Trail wasn’t strenuous, very comfortable pace. Absolute recommend!
Joetta B — Google review
Camila and Andrés made our experience incredibly special! They speak really great English, know tons of facts about the flora and fauna of the area, and take so many pictures/videos that you capture every magical moment. Below I share one! (And, for context, we did the full day)
Natalia R — Google review
Too expensive for what they offer $60 USD I will give 2 starts because Roberto the tour guide was really nice and very competent in his job. I did the full day tour and I regret it. They’re a few trails and for each one you need to drive. They offer one tour in the morning and another one in the afternoon. If you are doing the full day; after you finish in the morning you need to drive to the hotel the people that are only doing the tour in the morning and go to pick up people that are going to join the tour in the afternoon…. I wish I knew that information before join this tour. The trails are nice. Keep in mind to take enough water with you and hiking shoes.

Camily was awesome! She was very knowledgeable of the trails and super conscious of our safety throughout the day. ❣️ she also took cool pictures of us and was a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend this excursion with Camily 💯

(Translated by Google) Good idea, beautiful, but lacking structure. The fundamental premise of a view of the dam at night, illuminated and with music, is very interesting. In fact, it provides a different angle of the construction, as well as a multi-sensory experience. The highlight was the musical performance, in good taste. However, First, upon arriving at the central viewpoint, we were disappointed to find that the snack shop was closed. Therefore, even in the particularly challenging heat of late spring in Foz, there was no beer, juices, soft drinks, ice cream, or even water. And, with so many support staff, it is strange that there was no one to open the shop and offer the minimum to visitors. Snacks, no way... Second, there were not enough seats for everyone. Many were forced to watch the spectacle sitting on the floor. Some elderly people, many special children, without the minimum comfort. It is not strange to sit in the stands in an event space. However, this should be made known so that people can prepare themselves adequately. Third, despite the scheduled time, guests arrived at the last minute, disrupting the presentation and fragmenting the experience. Fourth, the lighting of the dam is interesting, but it could be invested in transforming it into a real light show. What we see is the mere turning on of spotlights, without any dynamics or cadence, without experimenting with colors. Fifth, the integration with the music is poor, a fanfare progression is played and that's it. Classical and regional music could be explored, with an integrated light and sound system. Yes, the dam is huge and planning a show like this, for the best sound and light engineer, will be a challenge. But it is possible and it would be simply amazing. Sixth, the sound quality is poor. It is clear that the equipment was not designed and adapted for music. The volume was too high, poorly equalized, with poor outputs and returns. The bass peaks are unpleasant, the mids are muted, in short, all new equipment is needed. All of this demonstrates successful planning, it's true, because the event took place. But with perfectly avoidable flaws. Suggestions: (1) greater investment in sound and lighting infrastructure; (2) more time for the musical show; (3) food options (or, dinner with a menu); (4) better accommodation infrastructure. Sexto, a qualidade do som é ruim.

(Translated by Google) Disappointing!! It's really not worth it. We arrived around 6:20 PM, waited in line until 7 PM (when boarding opens), but the buses only leave together. We ended up leaving around 7:45 PM. We arrived at the central lookout point where there was a musical show, which was actually good (the singer and musicians were good), but the show itself was completely out of keeping with the atmosphere and context of the tour. The concert venue is terrible... it's just wooden benches or cushions on the floor... in the end, what you really get is a massive backache! 😩 And to top it all off, the mosquitoes are having a field day; it's impossible to escape. When the musical show ends, they "light up" the dam, but honestly, it's nothing special. I and everyone else there were expecting something more elaborate, like a light show, but they literally just light it up and that's it. We took some pictures and got back on the bus. At 8:50 p.m., we were already on our way back. Honestly, the highlight was the family of capybaras along the way and the bus on the way back that passes right next to the dam!! It's absolutely not worth it! (Original) Decepcionante!!
