Food was delicious, but def had some trouble with its arrival. I ordered an appetizer and entree. I waited quite a while but expected that based on other reviews. My steak entree was brought to the table never having seen my appetizer. My server told me it was OK bc they come out at the same time. Why order an appetizer for it to be delivered with your meal?? The appetizer is supposed to be the kickoff. And even if they were accidentally intended to come together, where was it. The server apologized and took my steak back. I thought we had an understanding that they would bring my appetizer THEN my steak. About 10-15 min later, out come both. I was annoyed, but took them. I cut open my steak that I ordered as medium, and it was totally well done. So basically they sat my steak in the back while waited for my appetizer to cook and then brought both out. I was really annoyed now. So I sent the steak back. About 5 min later they brought me a new steak. Since they only cooked it for like 5 min it was rare rare rare. I could not eat that. So I sent it back again. It came back about 5 min later, this time medium rare. They serve it on a hot cast iron flat plate so I knew if I let it sit fit a min it'd cook. So I did and it was fine. The steak (i ordered the Ribeye) was very tasty. The appetizer (chicken nuggets that you dip in marinara with cheese was also good. Good food. The server was really nice and always tried to fix the problem with a smile, but I was very annoyed with the way the food came out and how they let my steak just sit and cook. I also thought they should have offered something for all the trouble it was but I guess not. It is a bar so was kind of loud and very busy but was fun for watching a game

A lively sports bar with both indoor and outdoor seating, large screens showing football, and even a live band. We arrived early when it was still quiet, but the place really picked up around 9pm with a great atmosphere. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We ordered the Capitão Burger (R$45) — brioche bun with double 120g burgers, cheddar, crispy bacon, mayo, tomato, lettuce, and caramelized onions, served with fries — and the Flank Steak Sandwich (R$35), with slow-roasted flank steak and mozzarella in a baguette. All of the meat dishes we saw coming out looked fantastic — definitely a spot I’d recommend.

Wow!! The steak here is absolutely amazing!! By far the best. The staff are so friendly and spoke English too. There is a Big range of different alcohol and soft drinks. Highly recommend

I had such a mixed experience dining here. I will say that the location is great with a large open plan layout. I was taken to a corner table that I had requested and was able to watch the football on the large screen whilst I waited for my order. The food was divine and so delicious, the chefs were great the baristas made incredible drinks and overall from a food, service and drinks perspective this should be a 5 star review. The issue I had sadly was due to the environment. There was flies repeatedly looking to come and get the food. Every 2 minutes I would have to be waving flies away from getting to my food. I spent as much time protecting my food as trying to enjoy it. I was sat inside so didn’t think this would be an issue. In the end I was able to ‘enjoy’ my meal but it definitely took away from the experience and impacted it as I was never able to fully relax and enjoy it whilst repeatedly having to protect the food.

Visiting Sushi Hokkai was an amazing experience. Every dish we tried was incredibly delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The sushi and other Japanese specialties exceeded all expectations, bursting with authentic flavors. The staff were attentive and welcoming, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. Outstanding food, one of the best sushi places to go (but keep in mind that it's Western style sushi). Service was a bit slow and confused but it's still a great choice do dine. Prices are fair for the quality and the portions are well served

This was so delicious! One of the best examples of Japanese cuisine I’ve ever tried – and I’ve tried it in many places. Juicy, tender, incredibly fresh. The sashimi in oyster sauce… your eyes just close automatically when you taste it. Baked rolls are usually a bit tough, but here they melted in the mouth, so soft and delicate. And the miso – definitely not from a packet! The green tea was slightly over-brewed, but still good. Special thanks to our waiter, Gilermo – he was so polite, spoke excellent English, offered us Wi-Fi right away, gave me great recommendations for the order, and even brought plain rice for my child. The place also has an English menu and a children’s playroom. ❤️ 12/10 – absolutely mind-blowing!

Was a decent restaurant where sushi was nice but I’m not use to having cream cheese in sushi. However it seems like this is how Brazilian’s eat their sushi. The tempura was lovely. Dumplings were lovely. The sashimi was cut a bit too thick but still was okay. Overall a pleasant experience.

We were starving after arriving in Iguazu. When this place had so many great stars, we just had to give it a try. The atmosphere is top par, but that's where it stopped. We ordered the premium sushi boat. They gave us 5 disappointing salmon rolls. Why didn't they provide different types of fish like the picture in the menu shows? We also ordered the shrimp spring rolls. Again, it was so bad that we didn't eat most of them, and I had to drink most of my tea just to get one down. Also, why cream cheese with the spring rolls? I'm not expecting Japan's quality, but this is just plain awful. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Tempura shrimp in the roll was so chewy it was inedible. It definitely was not cooked that day. The miso was great but not on the menu. Might be 4.5 stars for those who have never had sushi. I guess we are spoiled :(

Absolutely amazing food. A lot of vegan options too. Menu is in Portugese but the staff is more than happy to translate in very good English with a lot of passion, heart and enthusiasm. Highly recommend the duck, roasted beetroot, mash potatoes and caramelized onion main. The vegan potato croquette with banana peel and hummus filling is delicious. Really enjoyed the vegan banana pancake for dessert, which was warm, soft and tasty.

I loved everything about this restaurant and can’t say enough about how wonderful it is. It is by far the most interesting and unique place to eat in Iguacu and definitely throughout all my travels in Brazil. The artwork that surrounds you is by various artists from the area. I wanted to buy everything. The food and service was exceptional. Luis explained the entire menu to us in perfect English and made our evening a delight. Wow!! This place is incredible! Such cute art, very attentive staff , and as a celiac and grgan, they had delicious vegan croquettes, pão de queijo, and banana crepes for dessert ! So many options and my husband who eats meat was very happy too! Would definitely go back!

A friend local to Iguassu brought us here for lunch. As it was almost closing time, the place wasn't packed and the buffet line was still filled with so much food! An amazing place to dine if you're looking for authentic home cooked Brazilian food. We also ordered a jug of maracuja (passion fruit) juice which was refreshing, kinda sweet but I still loved it! Do try a dessert called Sagu. It's little balls in wine. Reminded me of the German gluhwein with cinammon and clove. Beware of bees though! Just enjoy your food and don't let them bother you.

I went for lunch on a Friday during the summer and it was quite busy around 12h-12h30. There is plenty of space to sit but the line for the buffet was long. The salad options are very limited but the hot bar has several tasty options. There was a big fly in one of the bean pots but the staff noticed it rapidly and change the pot. Good price for simple food. Would go back.

This restaurant is a gold mine, the cost is amazing for the amount of hot fresh delicious food, plus deserts. Well worth going out of your way to eat here. Make sure to go to the back of the restaurant for the buffet, and eat outside if you can, under the trees is the best breeze, beautiful wooden tables, fun places to take pictures, the kids have plenty of play areas as well. A real find in Iguacu. The buffet food is cheapest during on a weekday at R$38, R$50 on saturday, and R$52 on Sunday. The price is fantastic value for money. There is a great selection of meats, rice dishes, fried vegetables, salad etc. Desserts are included, there was a lot of sweet Brazilian style puddings and fruit. We had a bit of trouble communicating with the staff relying on an English translation software to determine that it was all you can eat (rather than just fill your plate once only).

She greets and shakes the hand of every person that walks in there! I have eaten at A LOT of places and have never had that happen. If you only have 1 dinner/lunch in Foz Do Iguaçu, eat here!

I went there with my sister, and we tried polenta with vegan ragù, spinach fettuccine with ragù and spinach fettuccine amatriciana (All vegan - the cheese too),and the Petit gateau as dessert (vegetarian).So so good.As Italians ourselves, both the polenta and the two pastas were amazing. The waiter also was really kind, attentive and could recommend us.They have an English menu,and they can speak some English. Totally recommended.

Back again to re-review, gave one more star because now there's options for celiac and vegetarian people, it still is deeply saddening that they've traded the originality of their ambiance for the generic industrial fast-food place appearance, but well they had their reasons, probably, at least the food keeps just as good as the first time I ate there.

It used to be better quality all around, but they've changed it up a bit and it seems the quality of the meat/burgers has suffered.

Super affordable Cafe with delicious all vegetarian menu. Pao rechardo and the chickpea burger were delicious. We went there twice during our stay in iguaçu. The best part was trying their vegan brigaderio, which we were dying to try since we are vegetarians and didn't have the courage to try it anywhere else and when the staff took my custom order for a glass of hot milk which was not on the menu☺️

Solid vegan spot in Iguazu! We had the Tofu baguettes twice and they did not disappoint. Very well priced and absolutely delicious. Vibe could be a bit better IMO, but they are friendly enough.

Food is good - came out within five minutes of ordering, which tells me it's made ahead of time. Coffee was good as well - milk is heated in the microwave rather than steamed, but still good.

Many vegan options and reasonable prices. Had the daily plate which was delicious and came with some veggies and salad - which I've found to be rare in Brazil so far. Vegan Brownie and chocolate ice cream was a little on the sweet side but that's normal for Brazil. ;)

Beautiful and cozy place, they have 2 floors. The coffee was strong and tasty, the cinnamon roll was OK. The prices really comfortable and the wifi is really strong!

Great vegan sandwiches, as there are limited/no vegan options on the argentina side of the falls, we took them to take away, kept them in the fridge and took them the next day and they were delicious.
