We ordered eggs on toast, shashuka eggs, mince on toast. Scrambled eggs. Tbh, not the best experience the eggs are a bit runny and soggy. My friend ordered shashuka. She said it’s 👍 with good seasoning. Also, mince on toast is well-seasoned with a nice depth of flavor. It hit the comfort food spot, but it was a bit too oily. Overall, the food are decent and I would recommend to visit.

A decent spot in Rotorua with promise! Not a bad option, and one that seemed less busy on the day. A good range of options available! The open steak sandwich, despite not being “open” (just an observation), was well executed. The onion rings were a fun addition. The sauce I’d wanted from the menu wasn’t available, and staff didn’t ask what alternative I’d like — not a big deal, but it would’ve been nice if they had. It was also a little tricky eating from a high-rimmed plate; maybe serving the fries separately would help. At least everything was tasty! The chicken and bacon waffles were phenomenal — neatly presented, perfectly cooked, and needed nothing fancy. I ordered a white chocolate mocha but received a regular one, still delicious, and not worth the hassle of changing after waiting. Still, a quick order check with customers could help avoid small mix-ups, especially when it’s not too busy. Maybe it was just a one-off error, but it would be good to check this with customers in the future.

We enjoyed hearty, tasty food here and came back twice as the coffee and breakfast was so good. The Mini Beni was just perfect.

Food as very well presented and very flavorful... Vegan meals and options were great. We had the vege stack and it was AMAZING our 4yr and 1yr old smashed them and I had to order another for me! Chicken burger and Mince on toast was also yum! Coffee and food came out fast and the service was great. Serving size could have been slightly bigger for the Burger and Mince on toast but we will be back next time.

Food here was pretty good. Venison burger was lovely and moist with a beautiful gamey venison flavour. I liked that there weren't too many extra toppings and seasonings to take away from the flavour of the patty. The patty was quite small so a bigger patty would have been great. The lentil and kumara soup was a hearty and warming delicious soup. The only thing holding it back from a 5 star was just a few inconsistencies. The baked goods weren't quite as tasty. The frittata lacked flavour, and the snickers slice didn't have any peanut flavour. Plus, it had a very odd sandy texture that was off-putting. The service could be improved. 2 different waiters brought us a portion of the frittata, and some drinks arrived at the table quite late on in our meal. Our table felt very sticky and probably hadn't been cleaned in a while

Wow!. Been coming here every time we visit. There's a reason. Huge delicious plates of yummy food. Happy ,helpful staff and great coffee. Just met a family from Wellington. They make this a must visit. Creative space. Love it. Come in hungry. Leave full!

Food here is quite good, although some dishes are a bit lacking in flavor. There are a few favorites dishes though (see photos) and we will definitely return. The service is friendly but a bit slow to get food, even when they aren't busy.

Fat Dog Café is usually one of my go-to spots in Rotorua – the service is consistently friendly and fast, and I’ve had great experiences here in the past. But this visit left me a little underwhelmed. I waited around 25 minutes for my food to arrive, and when it did, the chips were cold and the steak was overcooked (well done rather than the medium I’d ordered). The seasoning was a bit off too – didn’t quite hit the mark. On a more positive note, the Kiwi Sāmoan Shake was great – creamy, refreshing, and exactly what you’d want from a smoothie. Still love the vibe and energy of the place, but overall the food was pretty average this time. Hopefully just a one-off.

Hubby and I stopped in for breakfast, awesome, fast service and whānau friendly vibe. We ordered The Woofer to share between the both of us, you could definately taste the love in our kai. Hubby struggled to finish the plate and he loves his kai. Great value for money! We will be back 🫶

the atmosphere was great just walking into the cafe, very warm and inviting. the same can be said about the kind staff :) I had the creamy mushroom dish, with warm toasted ciabatta, and creamy mushrooms in a rich sauce and parmesan. the side of bacon is a nice touch; definitely a lot of rich, hearty flavours. the price is quite high for the meals but understandable in the current economy. definitely a nice place to visit while staying in rotorua with your family!

Great food, quick service. It has a cute little store inside as well. I got the eggs benedict which claimed to be the best in the city. It was great but, that's a bold claim as I've had 5 others around Rotoura and they were all eggcellent. We also ordered Avacado Bagel. It was great but difficult to eat, it was just huge. Tangy with a slight kick.

I came here with my family and ordered three servings of the “fish of the day,” but the fish was extremely fishy and almost inedible. We gave feedback the first time and were completely ignored. After asking again, a tall man finally came over, and we even offered him an untouched portion to taste. However, after he took the plate away, we waited for over 20 minutes and no one came back to explain or follow up. Right before we left, we had to approach them again, and the man just coldly said, “The fish isn’t fishy — it’s fresh,” completely dismissing our experience. The whole situation was extremely disappointing — the staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and showed no respect for customer feedback. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We will never come back and definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Just popped down to Rotorua from Auckland as I do every year and Capers is a must for a hearty breakfast ,lunch or dinner. The food is always spectacular and the staff and service make you feel like you are on holiday . Great people and the eggs Benedict with Pork bellies are to die for. It's kinda just worth the trip from Auckland for Brunch !

I only had a coffee today but the selection of cakes, eats etc.was fantastic. Coffee was Delicious. I had a cuppa into. Vibe was lovely!

One of our favourite cafe in the North Island. The vegetarian/vegan options were incredibly flavourful. The staff was super nice. Even though it is a big place, it feels cosy.

Great place to go for breakfast. The customer service was absolutely awesome. Such kind and friendly staff who will actually have a chat with you. Food is delicious and it's a cute little place.

My Favourite Husband was running the Rotovegas marathon today. Which meant I had many hours to kill, alone, on one of the busiest days for the town. Picnic was on the sunny side of the street and right next to the finish line for the event so I assumed it was going to be packed and consequently slow. I was mistaken. Mistaken, because I am never wrong. Ask my Favourite Husband. I don’t generally like eating alone, but I didn’t fancy a generic hotel breakfast where we had stayed the night before. So I channeled my inner brave grown up, and ventured in. Friendly staff, plenty of tables and very reasonable prices. I sat outside in the sun. And within minutes my almond milk chai latte came in a decent sized mug. Not long after, my eggs Benedict arrived. I’d thrown all caution and dietary requirements to the wind, I was part of a marathon by default after all, and I ordered it as it came. Bread and all. Look, I’ll be honest, my expectations were not high. Dammit, I’ll admit it, I actually was wrong. This was perfect. Very generous on the bacon and cooked to crispy, yet succulent perfection. Perfect eggs. Delicious hollandaise. But people, the piece de resistance … the little side of garlicky, basil pesto. Perfection. Next time my Favourite Husband does something silly in Vegas, I’ll be back. Great work. Great value. Great service.

Eating out / ordering takeout meals seemed to be a challenge for my 2-week trip to NZ (Nth Is) - never quite getting what we hoped would be the best version of what we had ordered. But Picnic Cafe in Rotorua was one of a tiny group of exceptions. Breakfast is usually governed by the "soft, warm and savory" rule and what we got was this and more (as hashbrowns are the crunchy exception to the above guidance!!). Tasty and generous, served quickly despite being reasonably busy with friendly/polite service. The prices were also reasonable if even a fracture better than most others. We were lucky to get a parking spot directly out front however being in the central city area parking may be more challenging at other times. This is one that I have saved to my favourites for future trips.

We all agreed on a 5 but I’d give a six if I could - delicious Shakshouka.

picnic breakfast was excellent, amazing hash browns. they also have cut out the puzzles from the papers so there’s lots to choose from which is great!

Had a lovely breakfast for a group of 8 here. They were very accommodating for our large group and straight away ensured that we were seated. Coffee came very quickly and tasted great. Food was slightly smaller portioned for the price but it’s expected at a tourist town. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely loved my experience at Le Cafe de Paris in Rotorua! The food was fantastic, especially the crepe — generously portioned and absolutely delicious. The crepe has a touch of sweetness, so if you're not big on sweet treats, I’d recommend letting them know your preference. The cafe exudes a charming French vibe that truly made me feel like I was transported straight to France. The staff were polite and friendly, and service was impressively quick. Overall, a wonderful spot for a taste of France in Rotorua — I’ll definitely be returning!

Absolutely loved the experience of dining at Le Cafe De Paris in Rotorua. What a beautiful atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home as soon as you walked in the door. I loved all of the Paris memorabilia, it took me back to when I visited Paris and now I want to go back. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered toasties and French crepes… superb! The crepes were incredible, and melted in the mouth. Food came out so quickly! I cannot wait until my next visit, I will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Merci

I have never been to Paris but I am guessing that when you enter Le Cafe De Paris that is what a cafe might feel like in Paris France. The atmosphere is amazing. The pictures all over the walls. The smell of fresh baked goods and food being prepared takes you far away yet you are here in this little fantastic cafe. Watching the owner make the crepes was great. She was so skilful. The food was amazing and the everyday breakfast was so with the value. It’s a shame I have never been to this place before even after coming to Rotorua since 2002. We had the everyday breakfast, crepes suzettes, almond croissants, pot of tea and a Latte. Lovely service and great food.

The owner is French - very authentic food. She is also very nice and friendly. The food is excellent and so is the coffee. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Rotorua. The only complaint I have is that it is rather pricey; we mostly go on special occasions. If it were less expensive, we would definitely go more often. Note that the restaurant itself is not very large so it does tend to fill up during normal meal times.

Absolutely love this cafe and the food served here. Watching the galettes in the making is pretty special, and the omelettes are outstanding. Great coffee too, and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

Le Café de Paris is a real gem in Rotorua — it feels like you’ve stepped straight into a Parisian café. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented; fresh pastries, perfect coffee, and generous portions at very reasonable prices. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The café itself is spotless, with a lovely French ambience and plenty of seating. It’s rare to find this level of quality and value together. Highly recommended for breakfast, brunch, or just a great coffee and croissant. Will definitely be back!

This place was so good we came back twice!!!! You feel like you’re in France, and the staff are so friendly. But the food - oh my goodness is it good!! The crepes are some of the best I have ever had (even better than crepes I have eaten in France!). And the baguette is such fantastic quality. I cannot recommend highly enough!!

Hands down the best place to grab bakery treats and coffee in town! I love that it’s pet-friendly too, perfect for stopping by when I’m out walking my pup. The vibe is just awesome, super welcoming, and makes you want to stay longer.

We came in as a big group of 20+ and the team at Ciabatta Rotorua looked after us really well. The long dog is next level, the bread is mean – fresh and crunchy – and the cronuts were a good size and pretty tasty too. Awesome vibe, great food, and they handled a big crew with no hassle. Highly recommend!

Super good cafe. The ciabatta bread was the best I've eaten in NZ, so fluffy and flavoursome. The lamb was tender, and sauce matched well. Tried some of the salmon sandwich and croissant too, both of which were delicious also. Better than any cafe in Auckland, and will definitely come back when I visit Rotorua again :)

Tried the brekkie and the lammie sandwiches on 2 consecutive days.. both times were great..dine-in has lots of seats and privacy .. limited parking is available at the premises; gotta wait sometimes or drive further down the road.

Fantastic place hidden in the industrial area, but does not disappoint and worth the drive! Really good coffee and the ciabatta sandwiches are next level! Will be back for sure! Also plenty of space to sit and enjoy!

The Moroccan chicken salad was exceptional. We bought two to go after trying it in house. We would have preferred our coffee a bit hotter especially on a rainy day though.

I came here for breakfast and unfortunately left underwhelmed. The interior feels more like a school canteen than a cosy café, and the only good spot is the outdoor seating where you can at least enjoy the view. From the entrance through to the inside, the place looked visibly dirty, which really put me off. The staff taking orders seemed too serious and didn’t even offer a greeting, which set the tone for the visit. The food itself was just okay – nothing to complain about but nothing memorable either. Overall, I’d only consider this café as a last option.

Order a chicken wrap..was served with the paper sticking on the wrap.ordered salmon steak..was dry and salmon wasn't fresh. The place was not so clean and the kids place was utterly disgusting.i will NEVER patronise again. And staffs was unfriendly..serving with an arrogant attitude..

Came here after a terrible hotel breakfast just to get the taste out of our mouth, did not think we’d be eating / maybe just a coffee and a snack, but ended up enjoying the friendly service and taste of the food so much we cancelled our hotel breakfast the next day and just came here instead. The food is actually so flavorful and muffins are naturally sweet. All in all we are sad that we are not staying a 3rd day so that we can eat here again.

This wasn’t up to the reviews expectations. My eggs were overcooked, I asked for poached and there was no ooze happening whatsoever. My butter did not melt on my toast although it was whipped butter and spread easily, the cheese kranskys are the size of cocktail sausages, there was about one button mushroom in my mushrooms, and my wife’s avocado was underripe so she didn’t finish it. The coffee was good and the lady that served us was nice though.

Lime Cafe was exceptionally good. Located on Whakaue Street, Rotorua, we were greeted with smiles all around. The menu was limited but everything we ordered was immaculate. Toast & Preserves, I got ciabatta with apricot & raspberry jam. Exceptional. Got a blueberry muffin. Fresh and soft and fruity. Got fried eggs 🍳 too. The cappuccino was good too.

Amazing service. Superfast service and getting your coffee. I ordered the tank mango and found it to be quite sour so I couldn't drink it. Pancakes were lovely however the Bananas would of probably been more nice if they were cooked with the pancakes rather than raw.

This place has the best French toast I’ve had in a very long time!! Everything was absolutely delicious including the coffee. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Hope to have the opportunity to come back.

Fairly small place, limited space though they have some tables outside. Very popular with the locals it seems, staff friendly and efficient. Pricing was fair. Food very good in the snacks, didn't have a meal, but what I could see from other customers, looked very nice indeed. Go check it out when your in Rotorua next time

We spent the weekend in Rotorua and had breakfast here three mornings in a row. The food was fantastic, very generous portions and brought to our table quickly. Our little 3-year old foodie was thrilled with the mini-bene option. Coffee was great and always friendly staff. We’ll be back for sure!

A beautiful hidden gem outer Rotovegas. Being local for many years but you guys were in my to do list. Finally ticked off 😁 Wow, that smash burger so mouthwatering and money worth. And your customer service is fantastic. The atmosphere gives the relaxing vibe. Also, the wee store sells local stuffs like locally made honey (I bought one already), hand made air freshners etc. And we brought some muffins and slices of cakes on our way. They were so yum. Quality of food at its best! Highly recommended as a local ❤️

Stopped in today for lunch and my wife and I loved our lunch (Kimchi toastie and savoury muffin) with a great NZ craft beer. I have also been trying ginger slice every lunch time stop on the North and South Island. Big call here this little cafe had the best one yet!!!

Finally stopped by this café we always pass on the way to Tauranga , and so glad we did! It’s a cozy little spot by Okere falls. The whole experience was awesome. The food was delicious with big portions and good prices. Coffee was perfect, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. Such a nice, peaceful vibe.

Heard about this little gem from a few locals and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and great value for money. I added salmon to my chilli scrambled eggs, some places charge $6 and give you barely anything, but here the portion was generous and totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Unexpectedly the best ham and cheese toasties ! Toasted sourdough with fresh mozzarella was divine. Delightful experience for our weekend trip. Dr Bucha was so nice too.

Dinner at Zippy Central Bar and Café Had a fantastic dinner at Zippy Central Bar and Café! I ordered the Pork Belly and the Southern Chicken Burger—both were absolutely delicious. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, while the burger was crispy, juicy, and packed with Southern-style goodness. Great food, relaxed atmosphere—definitely worth a visit!

Delicious!! So much beautiful flavours!! Lamb shank and pork belly with creamy mushrooms 💯 My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary dinner and she and I both loved the food so much 🙌 definitely adding to our list for when we return to rotorua again x thank you to the lovely guy that served us and also the waiter very polite

We had the most stunning steak and chicken wings here tonight. The steaks were cooked to perfection its been a really long time since weve had one so good. The vibe is cute and cosy and the service was really attentive. Cant wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu 😋

Unfortunately we weren't to happy with our experience here. The open chicken sandwich was delish, but the fish tacos were a real let down. The fish was so overcooked and dry it just wasn't enjoyable at all. Service and staff were lovely though. Hopefully next time itll be better.

The Zippy steak meal is a MUST! Perfectly cooked, delectable butter mushroom sauce and the service is not pretentious like the bigger cities

If you have coeliacs disease I would not recommend this place. 1 they didn't have anything labeled with diertry on their menu so had to ask them what was safe. Then after explaining I had coeliacs disease and had to be strick I ordered a salad only to find corn fritter in my salad. I wentto them and showed it and said I was not happy but was still charged for meal.

Me and my partner had such an amazing time at Zippy cafe today, we were served by Jorja, she was so kind and patient. She made the best coffee we’ve ever had. Awesome prices and service, we are definitely coming back!! 10/10

Beautiful setting and delicious food! We visited multiple times during our mountain biking trip to Rotorua. Definitely recommend the dill pizza, hummus flatbread, and smoothies

Came here with a group for brunch and it was pretty good. I opted for the bacon eggs bene and loved the potato croquette with it - hollandaise was a little lemony for me but not a big deal! The filo seemed like a hit - we wanted to grab the last one but it was gone! Architecture of building is pretty unique and cafe has a nice modern feel

We came here for lunch and it was delicious. I had the shakshuka and others in my group got pizzas. The coffee and iced strawberry matcha were also good. This venue is lovely with heaps of potted plants and natural light. It is also in a nice location being right next to the redwoods.

Service and ambiance are exceptional. It is so nice being here. However the cafe food and the coffee could make an improvement. The Cappuccino was not much flavour and just felt very average. The tiramisu mousse cake was also not that great. If I ever come back, I would try their savoury items to see if my ratings would change.

We tried visiting Eastwood Café in Rotorua for the first time. Since we’re not from the area, it was a little tricky for us to find it—we even ended up at Biker’s Way before getting there! But once we finally found the café and parked, it was definitely worth it. The food was lovely—we ordered a sandwich,sausgae roll and a cheesecake. The cheesecake was a bit soft for my liking, but the flavor was delicious. Definitely planning to come back when we visit Rotorua again!

Came here on a sunday and got lost following the google maps directions. Better cafe access when you enter through the Redwoods Forest park than following Google maps after phoning in to ask for better directions. Ambiance is great, service is fast. Coffee was delicious. Lots of food selection from the cabinet + their menu. Cinnamon roll has soft dough but too sweet for our personal taste. Oh, they're dog friendly too!

Great Coffee and amazing breakfast! Was impressed when my eggs on toast was upgraded with relish and spinach. Beautiful atmosphere in the amazing Te Whare Nui o Tuteata building, and we followed it up with a lovely stroll among the Redwoods outside. Well worth a visit on our trip over from Australia!

Had a lovely dinner and breakfast here while staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was really nice with wonderful flavors and everything was very fresh. I had a pumpkin vegetarian dish that tasted great! The continental breakfast was lovely as well with fruit, bread, pastries, cereals and juices and coffee and tea - just right for our check out morning. Overall very nice. I’d visit again.

We had the degustation with wine matching and couldn't have been more disappointed. The food was all average at best other than the mushroom croquette which was the only item with any real flavour. The wine matching seemed to get smaller and smaller with each course until there was barely a taste of Pinot with the main course. The service was poor never clearing any glasses or plates until the next course came out, and as soon as the last course was put on the table they told us the bar and kitchen was now closed at 8:45pm. I would not go back or suggest anyone does until The Regent decides they actually want to try and provide an experience to be proud of.

A group of six attended the regent for a Christmas high tea. We were very disappointed on the service and food. No one came to give us water or offer us drinks for over 20mins and we had to ask if someone could come and offer us drinks, we were never offered another drink. Our food came and looked like it had been made the day before, and someone went to the local bakery chose three square cut them up and the same with the sandwiches. The bread in one side was dry and the other soggy, it was not worth $45 per person . Extremely disappointed and will not be back.

Thanks to a Chuffed Gifts gift, we had High Tea at The Regent and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great service, nice finger food and tea. Very elegant - thanks, Team.

This Restaurant does not deserve any rating. I'm not one to give reviews but I'm forced to write this review so people can save their buck and probably find a better place to eat out in Rotorua. I ordered a Dry Martini which was basically water with a hint of gin/vodka. Entrée and Mains were appalling with no taste or seasoning and lack of effort for the price they charge in the name of a fine dining restaurant. Pics in the review are of my mains - Venison loin with a blob of potato mash and boiled veges with no seasoning at all and My wife's Entrée - Scallops, which was basically a plate full of boiled scallops with Baileys sauce again with no seasoning or flavour. Really disappointed with this place not recommended for sure.

Had a lovely girls early Christmas lunch last Wednesday. A glass of bubbly, dipping breads, choice of 4 mains, dessert, coffee and Xmas pies, all for $50. Always a good experience.

Rather underwhelmed with our recent visit to the coffee club. We make this a weekly visit with the kids after a bike ride in the forest. We usually order a coffee, smoothie and iced chocolate which they were to normal standards. However the hot chips were almost a side portion. Extremely disappointed with the amount we paid of $14.50 for a ‘Large bowl of Seasoned fries’. You used to get the whole plate with the sauces stacked on top. Hopefully management/chefs reconsider the amount they are serving their patrons

My daily coffee addiction started here! While staying at a lake house in Rotorua, I decided to order delivery from The Coffee Club. Big mistake... I got completely hooked on their cappuccinos! What started as a one off order turned into my essential morning ritual. I really wanted the Giant, Fluffy Blueberry pancake with Mascarpone, but was looking for a healthier option and their Mushroom, Feta, & Spinach Open Omelette was delicious. The portion was massive, way more than I expected. Plus the wholegrain ciabatta was perfectly crisp, just the way it should be. Every morning I found myself reaching for my phone to order another cappuccino. The quality was so consistent that it became the best part of waking up during my stay. The Coffee Club knows how to do breakfast right. Great coffee, generous portions, and food that actually tastes amazing when it arrives. Already planning my next Rotorua trip and you can bet I'll be ordering from them again. If you're in Rotorua and want proper coffee and a hearty breakfast, this is your spot. Just don't blame me when you get as addicted to their cappuccinos as I did! Also, their cup designs are adorable and fun!

Really nice brunch. Friendly service, efficient and good prices too. Liked this one, would go back again. Place was clean and pretty busy but no delays between ordering and food and drinks arriving.

I came to this place for a Friday brunch, and overall it was a very disappointing experience—made worse by the shocking sight of a rat running around inside the café. To start with the food: I ordered the smashed avocado and the vegan ciabatta sandwich, but unfortunately, neither dish was enjoyable. Both were served cold, lacked seasoning, and tasted bland. The smashed avocado dish was especially underwhelming—the pumpkin and mushrooms were soggy and cold, which really impacted the overall texture and flavor. My wife and I ended up leaving half our meals untouched simply because they weren’t appetizing. On a more positive note, the vanilla latte I ordered was actually quite good and was the only part I finished. However, just as we were leaving after using the bathroom, a rat suddenly appeared inside the café. Staff and customers scrambled to catch it, creating an unsettling and chaotic scene. Eventually, it was caught and placed in a box by a staff member, which only raised further concerns about the hygiene and cleanliness of the establishment. Given the poor food quality, high prices, and serious hygiene issues, this is not a place I would return to or recommend for brunch.

Delicious food, great service, and a calm atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday, so it appeared quiet and calm inside. Parking available, toilets, and there is enough room to navigate through the tables. Staff were friendly, courteous, and polite.

Food was yum, got the club sandwich and chorizo and chicken loaded fries. Serving size was good, club sandwich could do with a bit more sauce. Service was good and didn’t have to wait long, I also got the white chocolate thick shake which was pretty legit.

Our favourite spot for food in Seminyak hands down. Atmosphere, food and service spot on. Two wait staff (both named Ari) were particularly great. Can’t wait to come back!

A very rustic European atmosphere, one of the best coffee spots in Rotorua. Good quality food is available however seating is limited and one should be aware that this isn't a working coffee shop, rather a place to chat and relax. It is located in the same building as a European import grocery store so you can do some shopping too. A must try if you're visiting Rotorua. Edit: "Working coffee" means a place where you can go to do work (study, online work and reading) and have a coffee.

I loved this place! Good coffee, nice selection of food. There are several tables that seat 4-6 and a large table to share. The big table is covered with interesting cookbooks and mags. I may just pop in for coffee and culinary inspiration again soon.

We went for the hāngī lunch buffet for $60pp and it was well worth it. The Hāngī selection was super tasty, meats not overcooked, and native ingredients like kawakawa and horopito were incorporated. Their selection of non-hāngī food was also good and tasty, eg buttermilk fried chicken, prawns. I commend their creativity when it came to the green ice cream, which was kawakawa flavoured. The desserts were nothing special though. Service was prompt and friendly. Views of the geyser were great.

The lunch buffet is not bad, although everything is lukewarm at best, but it's definitely not worth $60. Loved the ham, though. And the view from my table, it's rare that I get one of the best rather than one of the worst table as a single traveler but here the tables with a view are for 1-3 people and the larger tables are further back. Well, it helped that not much was going on today, so plenty of tables were empty.

Kia ora, I want to say I have been visiting many restaurants in NZ, This is the best buffet in Aotearoa NZ. I try most things. Food is extremely high quality, tasty, and cooked prefectly. Especially, Hangi and raw fish is wonderful tastes, like home cooked as same as aunty cook at Marae. Service is great and staff are so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. However, I don't like to sit in a communal table. Prefer more room but Ka pai, that's a personal preference. Overall, Highly recommend. Well done, Chefs.

Stopped after our Te Puia tour for some drinks and pananis which were excellent and very fresh. Lots of seating in the cafe area or there is the main restaurant too. A nice place.

Best lunch we have had during our trip so far, great buffet selection of hāngi meats, seafood, salads and desserts. The prawns were so fresh! We had an incredible view overlooking the geyser. The staff were all absolutely fantastic too, very kind and professional. Well worth the price. Would highly recommend!

We had our wedding reception here and what amazing time it was. Kaylee and the team really did the most amazing job with our special day. The way they catered to our every need and made us and our guests feel most welcome. The new design of the premises was loved by us and all of our guests. The food was delicious with so many options and a beautiful wide selection of drinks on offer for us and the guests, we just want to thank Kaylee and the team for making our day so effortless. Stopped here by chance - it is fantastic. Great food and coffee and a beautiful environment with an amazing children’s play area tucked off to one side with plenty of quiet spots for adults. Good to see local art on the walls. Friendly helpful staff. A must if you are looking for a great breakfast/lunch in Rotorua. Noticed it is a bar in the evening - wish we had known yesterday.

I've been to a couple of events at Terrance kitchen. It is such a cool vibe and the staff are so lovely! The indoor/outdoor flow is perfect, the kai is yummy, and did I mention the staff are amazing! Highly recommend considering Terrance Kitchen for your next event.

I had brunch here and it was excellent. The interior design, food, atmosphere, staffs..everything is very satisfying. The weather wasn't great but I will definitely be here for sunny day again. The portion of the food was just right maybe a bit a lot for me. It would be better if you eat them when it's served. Waffle was great but I ate it a bit late so it was a bit cooler. Still I like the sauce and dressing. Good place for brunch =)

Great services and atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor. Both chicken salad and vegan skillets had great flavours. The fried chicken tasted crispy and fresh, wasn't greasy at all; the beans in the vegan skillets added extra texture to the dish. Definitely coming back another time!

Absolutely loved the vibe at this cafe/restaurant. Clean, sophisticated, beautiful outdoor area... the staff were friendly and attentive. The food DELICIOUS! A good mix of vegetarian options and great brunch lineup. This was my second visit and I was just as satisfied as the first. Highly recommend this if you have a day or two in Rotorua 😊 The mushroom bruschetta (with GF bread) and Eggs Benni were $22 each just to give you an idea of price. 🤑

Went here for breakfast and ordered their bush tukka mince on toast (?) with a side of curly fries and it was sooo delicious! The staff were also really friendly and kind, witnessed them do a kind act and help someone out. The atmosphere was nice actually, there was alot of people but it didnt feel crowded. Travelling from Canada, my partner and I have been trying to find a good breakfast place. We spotted this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The food was a little pricy compared to our usual diner food, but it was so worth it! Delicious, we had the Bacon Eggs Benedict and the staff were so nice and accommodating when we also wanted to share a single waffle with syrup! I would recommend to anyone travelling through if you wanted just good quality food. Eggs Benedict: creamy, savoury, filling! By far the best bene i’ve had since living here for the past 6 months. Waffle: sweet almost like a cinnamon roll without the cinnamon (if you know what Cinnabon tastes like- thats what it was- so good! Coffee: served with a caramel fudge cube-super sweet! Coffee was delicious (Mochaccino & Cappuccino).

I ordered the dragon smoothie which was nice but also didn’t have much taste to it. I got the bene with salmon and it was perfect the eggs were nice and running perfectly poached. It came with hash on the side which was nice and crunchy as well as a decent amount of salmon on the bene. I had a look at the food in the cabinet and the sweets and savouries looked very nice. Service was great and the lady was very nice and friendly. the cafe itself was quite nice would come back & definitely recommend!

Visited 3 days in a row during a short stay in Rotorua. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the coffee was delicious and the food was cooked on point every time. Poached eggs and bacon were bang-on each morning and the granola was incredibly tasty as an alternative to an egg breakky.. Will definitely return if I come back to Rotorua. 5 stars!

My wife and I came here for breakfast today as one of our last stops in the area before moving on to napier, we ordered two keto-gouten free breakfast stacks, delicious and filling, our server was wonderful and funny, 10/10 would recommend!

A great café that almost gets 5 stars from us. Their coffee was very nice, and the chai latte (cinnamon) was a little on the sweet side. Also had an almond croissant, which they warmed up, and though tasty, was slightly dry. There is a great selection of food here, and without a little more care in the preparation, would lead to being an excellent café 😃

Great Acai bowl for breakfast. Had to stop myself from eating it to take a photo!! Delicious coffee too. Will definitely be back again for the bowl!! Lovey staff, definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely excellent food. Many vegetarian, gluten, and dairy free options. Vegan was a bit harder to decipher but there were a few good options. I had the sequoia granola and it was absolutely wonderful. The nuts combined with the raspberry and coconut yogurt was an amazing combination that was sophisticated and flavorful. My girlfriend loved the coffee (she’s a better judge of coffee than I am). She had the açaí bowl and loved it. I also had the berry slice which was very chocolaty but also great and vegan to boot. The atmosphere was so-so and it could use a little tidying up if I’m completely honest, but the food was on point and that’s what really matters to me.

Coming here for breakfast was totally unplanned for, but it was the best decision we made after checking out from a nearby hotel! Food, ambience and service were all good - Friendly staff, beautiful plating and unexpectedly delicious food! Loved everything we ordered especially the savoury scone and tortilla stack! Went there for lunch and got the corn fritters and an oat matcha latte. Both was delicious. Never had corn fritters before and got this recommend by the waitress and it didn’t disappoint. Portion was just enough, didn’t need any more or less!

Aroma Cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a hug. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and welcoming . We ordered the Aroma Big Breakfast, and it definitely lived up to it's name. A hearty plate of bacon, kransky sausage, ciabata bread, free range eggs, stunning, but the highlight was the homemade beans and portobello mushrooms. This meal definitely set me up for a physically intensive day. I would happily recommend Aroma Cafe to those wanting a quality experience at a fair price.

I used to be a regular at Aroma Cafe, but my recent experience left me disappointed. I ordered an omelet, but it was overcooked, and the onions had a bitter taste. I mentioned this to an older server, but she didn’t seem to care or offer any solution, so I just let it go. I’m not sure if this was related to the service attitude, but as an Asian customer, I couldn’t help but feel a bit ignored. I hope Aroma Cafe doesn’t have any issues with racial discrimination, as I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere here. However, the decline in food quality was really disappointing. If this continues, I might have to consider other options. I hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and improves both the food and service.

Spent our first breakfast in Rotorua and google said BTW is open on good friday, despite the 15% surcharge it was super worth it! The mocchacino was abs delish and I love their eggs bene and mushroom! Will for sure dine in again! Staff was so fun and amazing too!

Very bad experience, I asked for hot water the staff said yes but didn’t service me for the first time, after meals , my friend wanted to have medicine,I asked for hot water again , but staff said : sorry , I am busy now. very impatient and not friendly, the service really shocked me, and then the other young girl gave me hot water. Very disappointing experience. I dont have a problem with paying for good food, but i thought this was daylight robbery after spending almost 100 bucks on breakfast. I ordered a couple of their small vege breakfasts. It cost me almost $18 each. But what i got for that was shocking. A piece of cheap supermarket (cooked from frozen), a tablespoon of cheap canned mexican beans, a quarter slice of avocado, 2 dried up fried mushroom, couple of spinach leaves and a poached egg that was hard like ut was almost boulied. All of this ion a quarter plate. I honestly feel ripped off. So not going there again. Probably the only saviour was the coffee.

Bought latte which was superb. Also got all the works breakfast, which was cooked to excellent standard. Poached eggs were spot on and nice crispy bacon. A hash brown would have been perfect with it, but no complaints. Partner got pancakes and orange juice. Will be coming back if I'm around Rotorua again just for the coffee alone

Posting this on the here and now, which is not usually the norm for me. If you are in Rotorua and wanting a breakfast or lunch. INTERVAL is your place, food is amazing I had the big breakfast. The caramelized onions divine and great delivery/presentation of them and the mash instead of a deep fried hash browns is a smash😉. Also had the toasted tortilla and was just as amazing. Again well presented and taste. Coffee and food was nice and hot. Great job INTERVAL

Ate at the cafe this morning. Ordered scrambled eggs and coffee. Service was excellent, the premises was very clean and tidy and the food was exceptional with a reasonable cost. If you like your scrambled eggs creamy and not dry, then this is the place to go! Will definately come back.

Stopped for lunch before my drive home. I wanted something with fresh salad. I had the hawker role filled with grilled chicken and coleslaw topped with a small amount mayonnaise and a sweet chilli vinaigrette. Served cold. Very tasty hit the spot reminded me of a Vietnamese salad served in a roti. I had oat flat white. Made well and hot which is often hard to com by. Staff friendly and place is clean. Music in the background so does not take over cost $$

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, delicious food. It is a popular, busy little place. We had the keto snickers slice (YUM!), the keto utter nutter slice (double YUM!), and a huge slice of creamy oreo cheesecake. Well worth a visit for keto and non-keto peeps.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by their super friendly staff. The atmosphere of the cafe is amazing. Knowledgeable with food intolerances which makes for a stress free experience. Food was outstanding. Not just make do gluten free options, truely mastered recipes. The staff checked in with us in a timely manner to ensure everything was to our liking. I highly recommend this cafe. Will definitely be recommending to everyone and whenever I’m back in Rotorua this will be my first choice ☺️

Absolutely love this spot, the food is amazing with a great variety of Coeliac safe options. We ordered the GF Fish & chips, GF eggs Benedict with fried chicken and a GF white choc, cashew & macadamia slice. The service was superb and I felt completely safe eating there. Would whole heartedly recommend to anyone but especially people on a coeliac / GF or keto diet.

We walked into this establishment and were greeted by a young woman by the name Shakyrah, she was well presented, well mannered, and brightened up our day from our first interaction, the food was amazing. As always, atmosphere was great, but I really feel like the best part of our experience was having such amazing service from this young lady, especially considering we go to alot of places and dont always have the best experience with staff. Fantastic dinning experience. The bar manager Wai was friendly, warm and welcoming. Our meals were cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was lovely and chilled. Just what you want on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend and definitely will be back.

Sorry for this 1 star rating, but the ribs weren’t warm inside , i know the ribs will take long time to cook thats why you cook it earlier but at-least give enough time to make it warm or hot , taste was okay not so perfect as compared to price. I would love to recommend the best ribs in nz is jimmy jacks. The tables need to be cleaned and wiped. The table was so sticky, anything i put on the table was like glue …..

Great place to come across, quiet when walked in but got a good friendly greeting from our man on the bar. We liked the atmosphere and decor. Food came out fairly quickly and tasted great. Also some $10 cocktails before 6pm we tried a few... we enjoyed it so much we went back the next night for more food and cocktails. It was busier with the sports on screen No issues finding parking and is away from the main centre. Give it a try

This place was a huge disappointment. Would not recommend eating here. Started with my husband and I being seated incorrectly so we had to move. Entree took over 30mins (not exaggerating) after placing order. Working in hospo we know that it doesn't take that long to cook a small plate of calamari and some fried chicken bites. When Entrees finally came out my husband was informed that the main he had ordered wasn't available. This was 40mins after he placed it. When mains came out the lamb was piping hot but the mash potato and broccoli was cold. Looked like mush on a plate. Husbands burger was just on average, but food very over priced for what you got. No water on table so we had to ask for it. Only good thing was the cocktails which were amazing. If your looking for amazing cocktails then you've got the right place but you could find better food and service somewhere else. Oh but there were also little bugs everywhere and dead ones on window where we were.

The medium rare beef scotch fillet with garlic butter sauce was a flavor explosion, perfectly cooked and juicy. The tender pork ribs were a true delight, falling off the bone with each bite. The meatballs taco had a perfect blend of spices, creating a burst of flavors in every mouthful. The seasonal vegetables with herb butter were a fresh and vibrant addition to the meal, beautifully complementing the rich flavors of the meats. The garden salad was crisp and refreshing, providing a lovely contrast to the savory dishes. We ordered take away. The owner was accommodating whereby she gave us extra containers to help us eat in the car. The inside is so cozy and welcoming, but unfortunately we had to order take away as we're on the move. Pie - delicious, crunchy and flaky on the outside, tender beef on the inside Scone - one of the best scones I've ever had. Not too sweet and the combination of scone with dates/raisin is just right (i think I ordered date/raisins scone. It was that good that I've forgotten what I ordered) Coffee - Oh my goodness!!!! This is the highlight of our breakfast. I don't know what type of coffee beans they used though. It is slightly on the bitter side, which makes the coffee taste so so so good. I wish we've come to this cafe earlier in our trip, instead of the last day. Orange poppyseed muffin - woah! So good.

The highlight, however, was the pancake stack – it's sweet on just the right level and simply delightful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax. A unique touch was the warmed blueberries muffin served with butter. Definitely recommend stopping by!

It's a bakery rather than a cafe, if you want bread based food it's great. Salads or gluten free, this is not the cafe for you. GF selection was hot chips or nachos only. Nice place, nice staff but not for me.

Had a delicious breakfast here while we were staying in Rotorua. The food was great, service was great, and a lovely atmosphere too. The kids menu is perfect and the activity packs were so great too.

Three tables of people. Two with meals. Five empty tables but too busy to make a salad sandwich. Even though there is a big sign saying - salad rolls. Would make two (not great) coffees though

Incredible little place tucked away in Rotorua. Must visit for a beautiful breakfast.

Stayed the night at Pullman but missed their breakfast. Googled some options and found this which happened to be right next door. Ordered Veg breakfast, and Vegan warmed porridge. Both meals were absolutely delicious and over exceeded our expectations. Both my girls aged 4 and 6, enjoyed both meals. Also ordered Hot chocolate in Almond milk for both my girls and they absolutely loved it. Husband ordered the coconut milk latte. Coffee was good - Found the coffee slightly on the bitter side. Would recommend the cafe to consider getting Supreme coffee brand or better yet Allpress coffee beans as they have a better flavour profile. The cafe is spacious with plenty of seating. They could improve the decor/ambience with a bit more colour/decor. Overall would highly recommend and would come again.

Fantastic space, great hot coffee, acoustically pleasing. Great with a toddler with good high chairs, colouring pictures and crayons, and a play match with toys. Food was delicious.

As someone who frequents as many coffee shops as I can when traveling to different places & searches reviews for the best ones, Fix Cafe was an absolute GEM during our 3 days in Rotorua. Amazing coffee! The couple that owns the shop are so lovely & friendly from the moment you walk up to order. On top of that, the Latte is perfectly made and delicious. We came here each morning during our time in Rotorua for coffee, smoothies & a friendly conversation with the owners. They gave us a ton of recommendations for our trip and it felt like a small piece of home away from home while we were there. 10/10 would recommend you swing by this shop during your time in Rotorua. Try the coffee + there are some gluten free snacks (perfect for myself) that are delicious and homemade as well. You won’t be disappointed. So glad we came across this place!

Fantastic experience. Delicious espresso drinks. Great family owned business. I’ve been on a hunt for solid espresso since traveling in New Zealand and this is it! Drinks aren’t too sweet (which is what I prefer) and the homemade baked goods are delicious and beautiful. A++ experience

I ordered the pāua pie which I enjoyed, however the addition of some garlic woukd take it to next level. Ray the baker is passionate about his pies and the pastry is great. I would revisit when next in Rotorua.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, especially for our local Māori businesses, but I feel I need to be honest about my experience today at Kai Cafe. I was really craving a hāngī and spent $23 expecting a decent meal—but I was left disappointed. The portion was tiny, the stuffing was gluey, flavourless and water logged, the meat was almost nonexistent and full of bones. The fry bread was almost larger than the hāngī itself and wasn’t very nice either. With the cost of living so high, every dollar matters. I was treating myself with my last bit of money, and this just felt disheartening. Please consider putting more aroha into the kai you serve.

I stumbled across this place while attempting to pass the time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The owner was great to talk to, she was freely willing to share her stories of living in NZ. The food is equally amazing, and they have a unique seafood pie. This place was so much better than I could have ever expected.

Chowder pocket an paua pocket was so good! The big breakfast on the other hand was horrible can't believe I paid $21 for that the sausage was the worst the eggs were not cooked I asked for the to be cooked more they said yup an they came back looking more raw. We got a frappe an it was pretty much water an chocolate flavour. The customer service was so bad wasn't a welcoming place neither was the girl who served us. Do not recommend.

Went here for the paua pies, first time trying today and they were onnnnn 🔥 worth every cent. My new fave pie!! 🥧 take my money man. Will be back for more pies but this time with the whaanau. Can’t believe a place that actually makes them properly. The pastry, the filling was perfect.

We stopped in at the Ranolf street shop. Because there are two stores. I had been to the other one twice before. And it was amazing. This third time, I had taken my colleague to get a pie. Which I had talked up. But the pies which seemed to appear as possibly the previous days pies. Because at 630am in the morning, only two of each pies were in the warmer. Pastry, felt stale. And inside of pie just didn’t seem to feel hot enough. It’s sad, because I talked it up so much. Before our trip back to Taupo after our long night shift. I hope you guys improve this. Because I had a great experience the previous two times. But usually, when a customer has an experience like that. They will go somewhere else. People talk, referrals don’t get passed on.

Visiting Rotovagas and recommended here. Not disappointed, quality of the pie and freshness of the roll was great. Pie needed to be hotter but that’s just my preference.

The mince & cheese pie had a strange taste, it lacked flavour & seasoning. Coffee was decent though. Wouldn’t go back

This is a great restaurant! The seafood dishes were absolutely delicious, especially the WAIRARAPA white wine mussels. I was also happy to be able to eat lots of fresh vegetable salads. The staff were all friendly and kind! I'm so happy to have come to Rotorua from Japan and found such a delicious restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant isn't particularly eye-catching, so I think if they posted pictures of the food outside it would appeal more to customers. I wish there was a course dinner menu!

Excellent food, service, and ambience! I’ll definitely be back! My husband and I started with the mussels for an appetiser - absolutely divine! For mains, the truffle pasta and pork ribs were both satisfying and generously portioned. Love, love, love this place!

Scrumptious - highly recommend the mussels! Delicious sauce that we dipped the bread into. The coastal pasta was also nice and creamy. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection, coming off the bone. We booked just half an hour before and got a confirmation a few minutes before. It was a bit of wait for the meal but well worth it! Lovely hospitality and the chef even came out to check everyone was ok. We were seated just at the bright signage which was a bit too bright. Otherwise a great stop for dinner! We also spied some delicious looking cakes but didn’t have the room for it.

Difficult decision here, the lavender shake was perfect and light 🔥 the waffles were nice and not super heavy 5 stars so far. However the keto salad was very weak, quite dry w/ very little dressing, had a tough tomato stem, the tomato itself was actually quite gross. Overall not my favorite, I’ve had some amazing food recently for cheaper so I may be biased. 3 or 4 stars depending on what you order

We had the Harvest Avocado, added 2 poached eggs, and the chicken pie. And of coarse 2 long black coffees each with coconut creamer. All were outstanding! It takes a bit for everything to come out, but we came in right during the busy time. Would definitely return! (Forgot to take a photo before we devoured ut all)

Only went in because I've never had a bubble tea before, so hubby and kids wanted a donut. So obviously I got a bubble tea with a donut on top! It's called a nut-tea and comes with your choice of drink, your choice of donut, 2 wafer biscuits, a chocolate finger, 2 pretzels and some rainbow rope. I got a brown sugar milk tea, the bubbles are extra. First sip, I thought I'd made a terrible mistake, such an odd taste more like a traditional iced bun from ab, but by the end I loved it!! Donuts we're more like an iced bun from the bakery. The place is clean and inviting, lady was helpful. I'm a sucker for something that looks pretty and it does. Give it a try if you like a bread-like donut as opposed to a deep fried lump of goodness. Reviews are a mixed bag, mostly about bad customer service so perhaps there are different staff that don't do so well in this dept. It's so important for a business. I had no problems.

Donuts were the worst we have ever had! Asked if they had fillings and the lady said yes. The blueberry “filled” donut had nothing inside but gluggy dough. Thin layer of chocolate on top of the crème choc one and the smallest amount of filling like 1tsp. Not worth it for what they charge. Also google shows breakfast options but it’s not available. Better off getting donuts from the supermarket.

Visited the Epiphany Cafe when staying in Rotorua, it was a very vibrant looking cafe! Lots of colour and the cabinet food looked incredible. One staff member showed a lot of warmth and the other lacked customer service skills. Coffee was good, and donuts were divine 👍🏻❤️

I had doffle waffle. It is so dry. Should have more mapple syrup. Franutte came with a donut which is more like a bun not donut. The pink oink salmon was okay. Franutte shake was full of whipped cream. Its not quite a shake. Total waste for a breakfast

We only went in for coffee but kind of regret not getting a donut now because they looked so good. Coffee was yummy, will definitely stop by again when I’m in the area. Edit: Popped in today to try the donuts, got a raspberry and custard one. There’s no filling it’s just the blob on top that you get. The custard was fine but it was a slightly unpleasant tasting raspberry sauce on top - kind of like cheap sauce for ice cream? Would recommend a coffee but not suggest buying the donuts

This morning I went in to grab donuts for my son as it is his birthday tomorrow and these donuts have become his favourite 😁 I was so blown away with the amazing service, I let the ladies know I was last minute grabbing donuts for my sons birthday tomorrow and they chucked in a little present for him and an extra donut with a candle and note on the box ! You guys are amazing thank yous .

We were greeted by a friendly waiter. We got to pick where we wanted to sit. The restaurant was warm with outdoor heating. The service was excellent. The food was tender and delicious with a a nice spice taste. The atmosphere was great. Awesome music. The dessert was yum 😋

I left with a big, delicious food baby. The service and food were excellent. Servings were generous, flavours were great and staff were very willing to please. I was glad to see a full section of vegan starters & mains on the menu - that's what drew me there in the first place. There was a sticker on the window stating "breastfeeding welcome". We sat outside because the weather was nice, so we can't comment on the acoustics. Very happy with our visit!

Happy to see a vegan section on the menu, it was the reason I went there. The vegan gringos nachos topped with vegan cheese. The savoury mix was quite sweet. Instead of traditional black beans it appeared to be a navy/haricot bean. It was a decent portion, served on a hot cast iron skillet. Overall the flavour profile didn't have come across as traditional - no taste of cumin, chilli, garlic, paprika etc. Hubby had the fish of the day. The fish was overcooked, chips soggy. The waitress was absolutely lovely. The premises is an older building. Cheerfully painted & pretty lights. The bathroom was simply dirty. The toilet pan & sink were both quite grubby. I personally would return

Absolutely loved our evening at The Rusty Bros. The back garden atmosphere was magical, the cocktails were top tier, and the house lager was a total standout. I had the lamb shank which was melt in your mouth perfection, and my husband couldn’t stop raving about the ribs. The service was warm and welcoming, and the heater above our table made the chilly night feel extra cozy. We will definitely be back.

I don’t like mushrooms, the chef’s special had unexpected mushrooms, and it was DELICIOUS. Very high quality food. Clams and fish of the day were also delicious. Not sure if it was Akhil that served us, but it was perfect. Thank you!

We visited rotorua for a holiday and were looking for a good restaurant and we happened to visit rusty bros. They have an elaborate menu. We got to choose from a lot of items. We totally loved the food, ambience and their service. We visited rusty bros all 3 days during our stay because we loved the food so much. The cheese garlic bread and prawns was absolutely delicious. Even the pizza was so good and the bread board was equally good. And the hot mocha was amazing too. We definitely recommend rusty bros. If you are in rotorua it's a must visit for some amazing scrumptious food.

Ordered an extra large mocha - took ages even though I was the 2nd one who ordered a drink. The mocha was a bit too sweet but otherwise good.

Waited 14 minutes for a flat white and came boiling hot temp. Ordered first, nobody seemed interested to make it. After couple of other people ordered more coffee then someone started making coffee. But i was the last one to recieve mine. Dont know how hard it is to make coffee based on who purchased first, i am sure they must have docket printed out with time on it.

I ordered a large mocha with soy milk in my keep cup and it tasted great, wasn't watery at all and had a nice texture on top. 8am - 23rd June 2023

Excellent service from smiling staff. A good range of pastries and sandwiches though a little pricey. A good variety of household needs though again bit dear. Easy access for wheelchairs, an A.T M. Machine, ANZ bank. Coffee and tea to drink there or take away. Over all a pleasant place to shop

Lady showed awesome customer service, with a smile even. Didn't have what I wanted but she improvised. Also treated me to 2 toasted sandwiches free of charge, as a tester, she wanted me give her MY feedback on this awesome stuff 👍 thanks 😊

Brilliant coffee, pies and slices here. - Quite expensive - Usually busy in the mornings around 8am-10am + Can order ahead with BPMe + Always hot and fresh stock going in + They will refill thermo cups

If you read this..to be honest b.p dont care..i worked for them for 10 years. Got no were..in between jobs its fine long term..no way..there's a big gap between head office and the shop floor...they think numbers not people..maybe i have a grasp off the whole operation...there's few that work for b.p do a great job make great coffees...but they never ask them to stay or treat them right...that's my 2 cents worth

Barista need more training, hot chocolates were so milky had no flavour. Temperature was good just no taste.

Very bad customer service. The "smile" was missing. I ordered 2 coffees- one with marshmallow on top and other with none. As the drink comes lid covered, I requested a clarification on which one is what when i got it - the reply was in a rude manner.

Just purchased large coffee 5 december 2020 13:40 I threw it away after one sip..absolutely revolting will never purchase again waste of $5.50
