Zero Gravity Brewery, located in Burlington, Vermont, expanded from its original location at the American Flatbread Burlington Hearth restaurant to establish a 30-barrel brew house on Pine Street in 2015. While brewing still takes place at the restaurant, visitors can enjoy a beer-centric experience at Zero Gravity's tasting room and beer garden.
Great facility, and it's huge. Tons of indoor and outdoor patio seating. Large selection of good beers. Friendly staff. And a great food menu. Awesome vibe overall.

I ahd a delicious Belgian ale bottle. It's price is the same whether you drink in-house or take it to go. I definitely expected an up-charge for on prem consumption. Fries were delicious, steak and cheese was delicious and served on maybe the best roll I've ever had.
Hairy D — Google review
This is the first place we stopped at after a long drive from upstate NY. We were warmly greeted. (I was floored by how polite everyone was in Burlington was!) The menu had a lot of vegan items, but we went for a meaty option, the Cubano burger. We opted for greens, rather than fries. Since it was a brewery, we wanted to imbibe some of the offered beverages. I ordered the Hazy Conehead IPA and my friend got the London Calling. The burgers were delicious and the beers refreshing. Fun vibes, too!
Holly K — Google review
I found Zero Gravity in a 'dog friendly' search. My dog was welcomed onto the palatial deck. Sunny spots and shaded areas. The food was extremely good. My sour beer was OK too.
Sara R — Google review
It's a big brewery, considering Burlington's size, and coming on a weekend often means breweries' bar stool seating areas are full. That was the case here. No problem, because there is plenty of other seating available. Snatched a comfy chair, a hoppy pilsner, a hybrid lager, some fries and dip, and a book and melted through a few chapters of Vonnegut. Good overall experience.
Peter D — Google review
This place is amazing. We found this gem while riding the Burlington greenway bike trail. The matcha, coffee, and waffles were such a treat. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Big time bonus for the vegan and non-alcoholic options on the menu. And it’s dog friendly. This place has it all.
Janelle E — Google review
Small, but incredibly delicious food menu. Excellent selection of craft beers. I'm more of a lager and pilsner drinker, and they had ample options available. Relaxing and inviting seating. Great place to just sit, sip a beer, wine, or mixed drink, and relax or meet up with friends. Parking could be considered a bit limited.

I liked it. Great beers. And good food too. Really meaty BLT with local sourced (yellow) tomatoes! RECOMMEND

Foam Brewers, situated in a charming historic brick building near Waterfront Park and the Burlington Bike Trail, has quickly become a beloved brewery in Burlington, Vermont. The brewery offers locally sourced snacks and an array of delightful brews on tap, including seasonal batches. Founded by three experienced brewers with a background in other renowned Burlington breweries, Foam boasts expertise and quality. Co-founder Samuel Keane emphasizes the strong community ties and the use of local ingredients from Vermont agriculture.
We had a fantastic time at Foam Brewers. The food was delicious - the oysters, cheese and charcuterie platter, and of course, the beer, were all amazing. What surprised us was how family-friendly it was. Located in a beautiful old building near the Lake Champlain waterfront, it's a memorable spot for tourists.

Great spot right off the bike path and close to the bustle of Burlington. Stop in for a cool refreshing beer and hit the shops after. Or stop in from the bike path to cool off. The beer is great, and the vibes are better! I got the blonde which was crisp and tasty. Cheers 🍻
Lauren J — Google review
Good stuff at this Burlington brewery. Easy parking. Well-signed storefront. Outdoor patio, indoor tables, and barstool seating at their bar, which you'll know you're at because you can't miss the neon-colored lit-up spermazoic designs built into the bar top. They do some traditional beers (lagers, pilsners, etc.) but they also mess around with experimental sours like wild ales and such. Their Green Dot is not to be missed, if you like that style. Try it even if that's not your thing. Embrace the spirit of experimentation.
Peter D — Google review
Foam Brewers is a fantastic spot with a creative and ever-changing lineup of craft beers. The location by the lake is hard to beat—relaxing, scenic, and a great place to unwind. The atmosphere is cool and artsy, with a mix of locals and visitors, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the brews. The beers themselves were bold and unique—definitely geared toward those who enjoy experimental and hazy styles. That said, seating can get a bit tight during peak hours, and the food options are limited, so it’s more of a beer-focused stop than a full meal experience. Still, the quality of the beer and the vibe make it very worth the visit. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Burlington.
Did N — Google review
Kind of your standard brewery type experience, but they also had some live music going on. They’re seating inside and outside and despite it being pretty busy, we found a spot to sit right away. Good beer and food. I think it’s worth a stop and there is a really nice view of the lake.
Scott B — Google review
Great Brewery near the water in Burlington. Beer is made locally and tasted awesome. Very friendly staff members as well. This place’s vibe is very fun and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Past Church street and near the lake... Popular. If the weather is nice, it's really pleasant to sit outside or if you're in a group. Went on a Sunday , sat inside at the bar. Friendly staff. I enjoyed their session IPA.

Love their fruity IPA's. My favorite is built to spill, super delicious, their smoked salmon dip is outstanding. Great brewery with an awesome view of the sunset on the lake.

Switchback Brewing Co. is a brewery located in Burlington, Vermont, known for its progressive approach and commitment to its employees. Established in 2002, it was the first 100 percent employee-owned brewery in the state. The brewery offers a select lineup of year-round brews including Switchback Ale, Karsten Premium Lager, and Zaboo Hazy IPA along with rotating specialties and limited runs. Visitors can enjoy tours on Saturdays and special events such as live music and yoga classes.
Couldn’t write a better review if I tried. Staff were so friendly, welcoming, and amazing. If you are ever in Burlington, this is absolutely a must. Beer was delicious. And trust me, we tried a lot. The food was just as delicious. Josh was so kind to us and the one bartender (wish I remembered her name) was more than helpful and amazing.
Justin W — Google review
Context: It's a wintery day, visiting from NY. The bartender was very nice, she offered suggestions and samples for my (limited) beer palate, and she hit a home run with the Switchback EZ (pictured). I ordered the Caesar Salad with chicken, and my dining companion ordered the Brisket Sandwich. Both had great taste and did not disappoint. The lettuce was very fresh (not wilty in the least), and had a light Caesar dressing (it wasn't sopping wet, which I like), and fresh grated parmesan cheese. The brisket was very tender and came in 2 large slices on a bun. A side salad was substituted in place of french fries. The space could have been a couple of degrees warmer, but I didn't *have to put my jacket on inside.
Ken B — Google review
Decent experience here. Parking's a little wonky, so it makes sense there's extra sandwich signs outside directing you to the entrance. They have a fresh, clean brand-new bierhall and patio, too. The Wednesday special with the burger and beer is worth it, but expect an upcharge if you get any other beer than their Switchback Ale. The beers, burger, and fries are all tasty. Their tiny two-inch-tall beer can stickers were overpriced at $3.00 *each*. By the end, it felt like this place was more interested in nickel-and-diming their margins rather than making the best customer experience ever. And, is this review kind of petty and nickel-and-diming them back over something so insignificant as stickers? Yes.
Peter D — Google review
Lovely place friendly people , good beer. I’ve eaten there 4 times and the food needs, something. Corn muffins were very dry, brat sandwich was a bit over cooked , if you work on your menu , your place is just about perfect.

We held our wedding welcome drinks at Switchback Event Space and could not have had a better experience from start to finish. From planning and coordinating to the guest experience & service, everything was incredible and seamless. Beyond incredible beers (Switchback Ale always hits), Switchback makes you feel like your are part of the family. Our guests had the best time and it was the perfect space to kick off our wedding weekend. Special shoutout to Abby, Georgie, and Nick for being the absolute best to work with!!
Hannah R — Google review
First off, we are not drinkers, but we love a good meal. When we arrived to Switchback Brewing Co, we located the door and entered a dining space with good music and good vibes. When you walk to the hostess stand, there is a sign that tells you to seat yourself and order at the bar. Some people would be put off by this, but not us. We found our table, and went to the bar to order. We ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich with fries, brisket sandwhich with Mac and cheese, and a BBQ pulled pork sandwhich with a dressed green salad. We play store order and waited about ten minutes for our food to come. The drinks we ordered were two maple, lemonades and a water. The maple lemonades were described as very interesting but loveable. The sourness of a lemonade really brought out the sweetness of the maple and was just a very interesting but really nice drink. When our food arrived, there was no more talking at our table just eating. The barbecued chicken sandwich was described as tres tres bien and the fries were just right amount of salty and cooked just right. The brisket sandwich was a different style of BBQ that he had ever had before but was amazing! The cucumber horseradish sauce just really brought it all together, and the Mac and cheese was a little drier than he liked but still good. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was breathtaking. The pork was moist and flavorful with the BBQ sauce being sweet and vinegary, along with that buttery bun, seriously, one of the best barbecue pulled pork sandwiches.I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The salad was so good. The dressing was Very spice filled but not overpowering. The three of us agreed. This is definitely added to our return eatery list. Even if you are not a drinker, the food and the maple lemonade are definitely reasons to come check out this brewery. We will be eating here again.

The maple hot chicken sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had had to get one to go the beer is just as good atmosphere is amazing definitely coming back
Vtredneck74 — Google review
It was our first time in the new space. We were excited to eat at the bar on a Friday. The menu is very limited for vegetarians so I ordered the bean burger ( frozen, not made in-house) and my husband ordered the pulled pork platter. My bean burger is $18 and the platter is $22. I didn’t want the bun and they would not give me a lettuce wrap so I chose greens as my side. The platter comes with a plethora of food and 2 sides ( he chose fries and greens). He was full, I was not and orders a $12 pretzel after I finished my meal. The mustard is more mayo than mustard. Not good. Our bill was $100 and we are not going back.

Located near Burlington International Airport, Burlington Beer Company was established in 2014 with a focus on creating a balance between tradition and innovation. Their spacious taproom shares space with fermentation tanks, where they experiment with hops, malts, yeast, fruits, and vegetables to craft their unique beers.
Excellent brewery and dining spot just outside of the downtown core of Burlington. There are a ton of draft, beer options, cider, barrel, aged beers, and flights as well. The food options are fantastic and definitely something for everyone. We had the goat cheese and blueberry salad with chicken on top and the Thai sandwich which we’re both unbelievably tasty. there is ample parking out front, and the way staff are very attentive and fast. Definitely would highly recommend for a quick lunch/dinner/drink when visiting the Burlington area.
Mitchell G — Google review
Went to Burlington Beer Company with some friends and we were excited to try different beers and kombucha. We also ordered snacks to share (wings, fries, and pretzels). Everything was good until we got to the chicken wings. They were clearly pink inside and had that undercooked texture. We asked if they could be cooked a little more, and the server agreed they looked undercooked and took them back. A few minutes later, someone from the register area brought them back and just said, “This is the dark meat,” in a really dismissive tone and walked away. Honestly, if it had just been explained politely, we wouldn’t have minded. But, the way it was handled came off as rude. Drinks and other food were great, but the undercooked wings and the attitude left a bad taste. Definitely an area they could improve on.
Night F — Google review
Great brewery. Food was good, beer was good, atmosphere was chill. Only headache was finding a table but one popped up after a little bit. Overall would recommend
Chris D — Google review
Overall I had a good experience. My food was great, filling and fast. The service was friendly. The atmosphere is unique and perfect for a brewing co. Love the selection of sours and overall variety of beers. You don’t always see this.
Devin G — Google review
They had it all at Burlington Beer Company (BBCO). Wanting a flight and a snack to pair, the Whale Cake sour flight and the hummus plate worked well together. All the sour flavors blended together by the end, so discriminating one from the other was fruitless. Hummus platter was good, but more oily than preferred.
Peter D — Google review
Super variety of beer here. Love this place. Highly recommend. Great food, I would suggest the cheesesteak.
Zachary P — Google review
Very super okay. I miss the old place during the craft beer heyday. I remember making the trip for the first ever release of strawberry whale cake. Anywho, this place looks great. Beers were solid. Food was meh. Sweet Thai chili wings were squishy (I like em crispy) and the sauce is so thin that it didn't stick to the wings so they were pretty flavorless. The sauce did fill the bottom of the bowl and that was good. The taco nachos were tasty. The pulled chicken was good and the crema was the best part of the dish. I saw some sandwiches coming out and they looked amazing but we're expensive. In hindsight, I wish we got sandwiches instead of apps. They have an arcade but zero games actually worked. Some played lightning fast, others had broken joysticks. Was hoping for some good bottles while here but there were only 2 and one was birthday cake flavored, umm, no thanks.

Good food, good drink selection. Free classic video games in the back, lots of seating yet open and bright.

Four Quarters Brewing is a unique and experimental microbrewery located in Winooski, near Burlington, VT. Founded in 2014 by beer enthusiast Brian Eckert, it started as a small-batch specialist and has since grown into a popular weekend tasting room offering house-brewed craft beers and local farm goods.
The family stopped by on a Monday night after traveling all day, so we were hungry and ready to try a couple of beers. The beer selection was good and found they had a nice selection of their stuff in cans to go. They lost a star because they were out of several menu items that 3/4 of us were ordering. We ended up with burgers(both regular and vegan) that were ok and honestly when traveling, burgers are the last thing I want to order. ****UPDATE**** I revisited on May 7th(two weeks later) and I was able to order the Tofu Katsu sandwich and it was very good! My son is leaving the area, so that was likely my last visit and I’m glad I did. Thanks to 4Q for making my visits to the area enjoyable!
Mo A — Google review
Great outdoor space! Good brewery to try out for sure. 4 stars just because of the limited selection that they had vs. other breweries around Burlington area. Other days may be better don’t get me wrong, but no flights were available when we came. They did have small pours to offer though.
Chelsea D — Google review
Great beer and DJs and a food truck and lawn games... On a Sunday night? And kid-friendly?! Sign me up! The beer is delicious and it's not all IPAs like so many other spots. Thanks for hosting such a fun event every week this summer.
Hairy D — Google review
Really good smash burger both spicy with jalapeños or regular in bigger sizes too. Live music at times got a cool laid back vibe and a beer garden in as nice day. Location in the center loop of Winooski. You may also run into an old friend from your past or work colleague who now lives in Vermont.
Kevin M — Google review
My "afternoon office" where I spent the last two hours of my workday. Quiet in the hours between lunch and dinner but they have wifi and there are some power outlets (near the stage). Huge selection of beers on tap and it's a great space. Outside seating also looked comfy but it was too hot this afternoon.
Bruce K — Google review
What a wonderful brewery in the heart of Winooski! Great staff and people, good food, and a chill vibe. Stop in for a pint and support local Vermont beer and people!
Lindsay S — Google review
Since they changed leadership recently they lost all of their pizazz. Signage is bland. The beer selection is limited when one of the reasons we used to come here so often was because of the unique variety. The last time I came I ordered my favorite beer and it was not even available despite being listed on the sign. The food used to be great, but now the menu is smaller, the food is worse, but the prices are 20% more. Unfortunately this just does not seem like the brewery it used to be and it’s not for the better. Millennial burger joint vibes for sure. Amidst the cons with the changes, the space is still welcoming and warm. Great outdoor space and very kind staff. Service is always great.
Ess S — Google review
Was recommended this place on the ferry over from New York and was not disappointed! The vibe of the joint is refined yet relaxed. Great artwork and branding! Staff were super friendly - they highlighted that they had a fresh new menu for food, and I was very happy with my burger. The beer selection was rad - a must try is the Stargazer!! It's also a friendly place for those looking for low alcohol / no alcohol options too. Overall great atmosphere, service and experience. It was also great to see the Pride flag flown outside too!

Queen City Brewery is a laid-back brewery and tasting room housed in a renovated warehouse on Pine Street in Burlington, VT. The brewery offers a variety of traditional beer styles, setting itself apart from the prevalent fruity IPAs. Visitors can enjoy German-style beers such as Munich Dunkel, Vienna Lager, and Yorkshire Porter. The establishment does not serve food but allows patrons to bring their own or order from nearby eateries like Pizza 44.
My husband and I recently threw a party using the event space at Queen City Brewery. It was a great space for our group of around 50 guests with our own bartender in the room and pizza from Pizza 44 next door. The staff at Queen City and Pizza 44 made everything so easy from communication leading up to the event, to the execution of the event the day of. We were so happy with the turnout of our event!

Going strong, ten years plus, in puny little Burlington. Not to besmirch this puny town, but it is a mighty feat to stay open like that considering the thick competition in this, the most enormous city in the city, which is still less than 50K. Enough about the town. The brewery shares a building with a pizza shop. Pizza's up front, and the brewery's in the back. Nice big u-shaped bar with lots of seats. More seats surround the bar, and there's outdoor patio seating, too. Their flagships that have carried them this far are their Hefeweizen and Yorkshire Porter, both of which are very good examples of those styles. Especially the hefe. Tried a swig of their Schwarzbier, which was also nice. Merch area had shirts, hats, glasses, key chains, and stickers.

Visited Sat 23rd August. For me, this is the best brewery in Burlington. I really enjoyed it. It's residential - so you get to meet locals and regulars rather than people holidaying from New Jersey etc if you go out in the Church street/Lakefront area. I liked their Hefe, and they have a quirky beer that smells of bacon! There's a pizza place adjoining where you can get good pizza too. RECOMMEND.
Tarun Y — Google review
We sampled 8 different brews and each one was unique and delicious. Great ambiance and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly love their job! Will definitely be back
Kim B — Google review
We came here for some beers and there is a pizza place upfront that you can bring your pizza to the back. It’s kind of a Detroit style pizza that was 3.5/3 but the beer was five out of five and the people working there were nice enough. Felt like a bit of a local place.
Scott B — Google review
One of the best breweries that I visited in Burlington. Vast selection and amazing quality/flavor. Landlady was my personal favorite but the Hefeweizen was also solid. Staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Best part was having the opportunity to bring my dog inside!

We stopped for just a few quick beers before a concert, and enjoyed it here. The spin on foreign beers was great, and I enjoyed many of them. Bartenders were fast even though it was very busy. The hipster crowd kinda have us weird looks, but didn't stop us from having a good time with some good brews!

If you are a fan of well made beers this is the place for you. This is a brewery that has many delicate and tasty beers that require refinement sophistication and quite a bit of process. They even have a Belgian triple. Highly recommend!

The Vermont Pub & Brewery, established in 1988, is the oldest craft brewery in Vermont and played a pivotal role in legalizing brewpubs in the state. This downtown mainstay offers a variety of unique and award-winning beers alongside classic pub fare. The founder's dedication to legalizing brewpubs kickstarted the craft beer trend in Vermont. The pub's outdoor space provides a great vantage point for people-watching and enjoying occasional live music.
Highly recommend since it's the OG of Vermont breweries. Deb, the bartender, is the sweetest soul and the craft beer is awesome according to my bf. I had a mixed drink which was also delicious. First time here and we will definitely return!

In downtown Burlington, amongst other shops and restaurants. We’re seated pretty quickly. Waitress was a little slow to come around and check in on us but was very nice when we did see her. Have a decent selection of beers that are also local. Burger was good but lacked flavor. Our other food was good! It was a Saturday night so it was pretty busy but they were able to handle people coming and going.

We enjoyed our meals here, although nothing was spectacular. The Toad in the Hole I had was unique, seemed like it was correctly cooked, but didn't have a lot of flavor - maybe this is how it's meant to be? The apple chutney was very interesting, strong, sour, and spiced - I'm still undecided on it lol My colleague's steak was cooked correctly but he said the it was so spicy he couldn't taste anything else afterwards. The others said their meals were good. Our service was nice and pleasant and the restaurant is unique.

Apparently Vermont's oldest brewery! Nice, friendly staff. Good selection of beers and ales (didn't care much for the signature Red). Bar food - Tenders were ok. Standard stuff. If the weather is nice - much better to sit outside. Inside by the bar is a bit dead. Worth a stop for a pint before moving on!

Tenzen was so lovely! I asked him for advice and he gave me greatness! After I placed my takeout order he even brought it to me outside. The garden salad with the chicken was so delicious. Definitely recommend coming here for good vibes and even better people!

Wow, this oldest-in-Vermont brewery really lets you go crazy with DIY flight itineraries, like *all* dozen or so drafts, if you like. So, instead of a sample of their menu, you can do a deep, exhaustive dive. Does that feel like work? Sort of. So, maybe limit yourself to four or five, if you go. Meanwhile, cool backstory about the owner here who also helped shape Vermont beer laws over the past few decades. Every state needs a heroic legend like this.

Recently starting working in Burlington again and have now ordered take out from the pub three times. I have to say the food quality seems to have taken a dive over the last few years because what I have been served recently is not what it used to be. Today for example, I ordered simple chicken tenders and fries. The tenders are nearly burnt to a crisp giving them a bad flavor and the fries are lukewarm. Super bummed out that there seems to have been a change in food prep. These fries used to be one of my favorites in town.

We had the meat and cheese plates, delicious!!!!! Beer brewed right there, we had the Burly Irish Ale, it hit the spot. The service was friendly and on the spot. I will recommend this pub to friends that will be visiting later in the fall.

Citizen Cider is a vibrant and family-friendly pub in South Burlington, Vermont, known for its unique hard and non-alcoholic ciders. The tasting room, owned by three friends who started pressing hard cider in a basement, has grown into a 9,000-square-foot property to meet increasing demand. The cidery offers two flights - The Originals Flight and The Fruit Flight - featuring their popular ciders.
Fantastic cidery! We were there during their soft open, a great range of cider from sweet to incredibly dry. I highly recommend the "dirty mayor", a little bit of Ginger really set this cider apart from the competition. If you like cider they have something for you here.

Nice spot. Atmosphere is pleasant and cool. We didnt see any wheelchair ramps. If you come with a stroller or a wheelchair ♿️ good luck 😅 Wings was nice! Cider was good also, many varieties Burger was one hit and one miss. Smoky smash ✅ classic smash was ok, not our favourite Nice place

Citizen Cider served up some great Hard Cider on our quick, but good visit to this establishment! We dropped by Citizen Cider on a weekend afternoon between 3 and 6pm, the establishment was not busy. We unfortunately did not grab food on this visit as we were on our way to another event where food would be served, so we settled on a flight of hard cider and an order of chips and queso dip for a quick visit. The flight we ordered was of the sweeter variety of ciders on tap and we enjoyed them immensely! We regret that we couldn't dine here, but considering we cannot give an honest recommendation on food, we can definitely recommend the hard cider!

The cider is to die for!!! I absolutely love cider and not being from VT, I was shocked at how amazing the cider was. I ordered the flight (I wanted to try multiple ciders lol) and the apple pie cider was DELICIOUS!!! They also had little games that you could play. This was relatively early in the day so it was pretty empty/quiet but I know it gets packed and busy just based off the vibes inside. 10/10 cider is AMAZING! Didn’t get any food tho so not sure what the food is like but those drinkssssss 😂👏🏾

We did not stay but wanted to share our experience to correct a few of the previous reviews. First, great cider and a good selection with lots of options. We did not stay because this location is not dog friendly. I had checked previous reviews in advance of going and saw that dogs were allowed but apparently this is a new location and they don’t have a patio yet. There was not any outdoor space and no dogs inside due to serving food. Totally understand that, we just weren’t aware because I guess the dog friendly reviews were old. Also we saw another review about it not being handicapped accessible so wanted to correct that too. There is a nice ramp in the front going into the building. They do serve food but the menu was pretty limited. Tons of parking in the area. Just wish there was an outdoor space to enjoy the nice weather (and sit with our dog). We did end up at one of the breweries in the same area that did have patios and got cans from citizen to go and enjoy later.

Ordered the pork belly special and had to ask employee for the sauce that was supposed to be drizzled on. Portion was very small, especially for $9, but the flavor of the pork belly with the sauce was pretty good. Smash burger did not seem very smashed, and came with a pink center rarer than I would have preferred, but I wasn’t asked what temperature I wanted. Was happy with a single patty, didn’t need to get a double. No complains on the maple chicken BLT, thought it was really tasty. Overall, food was decent but portions are small for the price and the food is slow to come out. But, they did seem a little busy.

STOP EVERYTHING. We ran across a fantastic place - what can only be described as liquid enlightenment at Citizen Cider in Burlington, VT—and I am now questioning every beverage decision I've ever made before this moment. The Staff: Angels with a flair for fun. Shoutout to Nicole, who practically radiated joy and made us feel like cider royalty. Now—let’s talk about the cider. If you’re someone who thinks cider is just a sugary sip for people who don’t really like alcohol—prepare to have your worldview shaken, stirred, and served with a twist. I had a Cider Coffee Martini that was so wildly delicious I considered writing it a thank-you note. My husband had a Cider Old Fashioned that made him question his lifelong loyalty to bourbon. These drinks weren’t just beverages—they were art. The flavor combos were so smart and ridiculous, I half expected a Nobel Prize committee to show up. Did we leave with a case of cider? OF COURSE WE DID. We left with this sweet, crisp nectar of the gods packed safely in our trunk - can not wait to share with our St Louis friends and family!

Mule Bar, located in Winooski near Burlington, offers a relaxed atmosphere with its blond-wood decor and a wide selection of local craft beer on tap. The bar features brews from well-known breweries such as Hill Farmstead Brewery, Zero Gravity, Halyard Brewing, and more.
it’s Saturday night, I’m enjoying a draft w a friend, all of a sudden the bartender runs outta the place at lightning speed. He zips through the patio and with the precision of a cat, parkours over the chain to confront some departing patrons climbing into a car. We wonder —whats going on? is he giving them back something left behind? No! these folks are thieves, and he is retrieving several glasses they stole! How did he notice? We may never know. These patrons hid these glasses skillfully, but this bartender was laser focused. I have never seen a bartender act with such urgency. he protected his place of employment from petty theft while simultaneously providing us entertainment. brilliant. thank you for making me laugh

I travel for work and dine out multiple times per week, but never write reviews- I am the guy that says “pick something you would like” and literally never complains. I worked front and back in college. tended, served, managed. Always tip 20%+ and totally respect the hustle. I don’t send things back, I don’t ask for things off the bill, I am as kind as anyone is to me in all facets of my life. I had a shitty enough experience at this place that I will never spend another dime there. Beyond that I will waste my time writing this review, and will rehash this terrible experience to tell other locals about it, over, and over, again. We dined at mandarin with a work group of 20 people. We were all orderly, polite, professionals from all over the country, and I was one of the locals showing them a good time. After a great dinner we dispersed between monkey bar and mule bar, catching up and all mostly sitting at the outside seating of both locations having drinks. I walked from monkey bar with a colleague where I entered mule bar and asked the bartender for suggestions. I let her know I’ll drink whatever she makes and she snapped back “you’ll read the menu and pick a drink”, and pointed to my friend. After he ordered she snapped again “what do you want?” I said I guess I’ll have a Tito’s and soda, and as I handed her my card I said “customer services goes out the window when you are busy, huh ?” She then she kicked me and my colleague out of the bar. I admit it was probably an inflammatory remark to call out her bad customer service, but she was nasty for no reason, and if I treated my clients that way I wouldn’t have any…. Wish this was over….I wouldn't have wanted my time writing the review about that. I then to back monkey, laugh the weird interaction off, and get a drink with my colleague. 15 minutes later I went back up the street to see our colleagues at mule bar’s sidewalk patio, and she ran out of the bar yelling at me saying she was going to call the police. I immediately vacated back to monkey bar. She then called the police in front of all my work colleagues as if I was some line of disorderly drunk.I wasn’t intoxicated, I didn’t raise my voice, I said like 6 words to this lady total. The officer visited Mule bar to deal with her complaint, and visited monkey where I was playing pool after. He talked to the bartender, said nothing to me, and left. I was a good paying, orderly guest that asked for a suggestion and was treated like garbage by this bartender, and then humiliated in front of all of my colleagues. If I ran this bar tonight would be that girls last night. This was totally unacceptable.

My favorite bar in Chittenden County. Lovely atmosphere with pleasant staff, delicious food, great music and 2 single occupant bathrooms that are well kept. The cocktail menu is extensive and the beer selection even more so. Great place to grab Hill Farmstead as they often have it on tap. If I lived closer I would go to this bar several times a week! Cheers!

Great bartender and great little spot to catch a round and talk with friends and family. Seems like the cocktail menu is seasonal in which case my bourbon based drink included ginger beer and classic fall/winter flavors. My partners gin based drink was fruity and delightful. Check this place out when in Winooski VT!

Hands down the best restaurant food I've ever had. Their rosemary fries are the perfect French fry. A combination of the crisp perfect fry you imagine, and the best tasting potato/herb combo you can imagine. The other food was equally exemplary, but a little overshadowed by just how perfect the fries were. The drinks were also phenomenal. Update: went again tonight, and was even more impressed than last time. The regular cheeseburger is the perfect compliment to the rosemary fries. Drinks are amazing as always. If I had to critique something: I wish the wings had more sauce, but the house made blue cheese dressing is amazing.

The Archives in Burlington, VT is a popular spot for those looking to enjoy craft brews, cocktails, and vintage arcade games. This adults-only hangout offers a wide selection of craft beers and cocktails with unique names. The arcade features classic pinball machines and video games like Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga, making it a great place to hang out with friends. Great spot with a very chill vibe and great bartenders and staff. It’s an arcade experience but with some of the best draft beers around along with their true specialty of amazing cocktails. These guys put 100% effort into creating the very best drinks to be found.

So my buddy and I show up from another bar, everybody who is my friend knows that once I have a couple beers, I love doing math. I get distracted watching the pinball machines for a minute, my buddy said he needs to hit the bathroom, so I decided to grab the coins. The coin machine gives you choices. Spend small, get the normal rate. Spend $20, get 88 tokens — eight extra for free. That’s four full free pinball games. The value-to-dollar ratio was unbeatable, so of course I went all in with a twenty. The machine goes off like a slot jackpot, raining tokens endlessly. My friend actually comes back from the bathroom, finds me still standing there in a hailstorm of coins, and casually tells me, “Dude, I already bought us $10 worth.” At this point I now know there is no way we are gonna go through our stash. My pockets are stuffed with what feels like two pounds of brass tokens clanking like I swallowed a cash register. At this point, the only thing holding my pants up is prayers. But anyone who knows me knows I don’t just take the machine’s word for it. I sit down at the bar, have my friend order us drinks, and I begin to count. Stack by stack, pile by pile. When the dust settles, I’ve got 89 tokens. Not 88. I didn’t get shorted. I got an extra one. Nine free tokens in total. That’s half a pinball game more than the math even promised. Profit. Pinball here costs 2 tokens per play. But I was on fire. My games snowballed: every high score triggered extra rounds. So 2 tokens were often giving me 4, 5, even more games(thats 8 coins of value) My fun to cost ratio was insane. My 89 tokens had the effective playtime of 356+. At one point, some stranger commented on how I was crushing the boss fights on the machine. I didn’t even know pinball had boss fights, but I was wiping them out like a man possessed. My buddy and I tried a few other games — including the Budweiser Tapper, where you serve beers down a counter — but I inevitably found myself back at pinball. By closing time, my pockets were still heavy. We hadn’t even burned through half the tokens. So my buddy and I get an Uber home. And I dump all the coins out on the table. Laughing like a madman. My $20 investment had already paid out ridiculous dividends in entertainment, and the leftover tokens mean next time’s already prepaid. We usually take the bus when we go into town so we don’t got to pay parking. So I am going to have to walk half a mile with all those coins in my pocket. And it is so worth it. Epic time, bring a friend. I wish I had a third person to help me spend all those coins. 😂

Love the nostalgia and arcade games, dog the fall/Halloween themed cocktails. Photo is the Double Burst double IPA and The Witching Hour cocktail which is delicious the bourbon mixes well with the vanilla and pumpkin foam. Ian was awesome, super helpful, answered all my ridiculous questions. Definitely go.

This arcade bar in Burlington is such a blast! It’s the perfect mix of nostalgia and good energy — with plenty of arcade games that make you feel like a kid again. From pinball to classics, there’s something for everyone, and the atmosphere is pure fun. The menu is great too — lots of creative drink options with clever names that add to the experience. And if you’re a beer lover, you’ll be impressed by their extensive selection on tap. Whether you’re out with friends or just looking for something different to do in Burlington, this place is a total win. 🎮🍻

I would give this place top marks for the beer selection and games alone, but the service as well is top! My daughter left her wallet when we were up visiting family and it wasn't until we got back to Boston I finally called. They had the wallet and OVERNIGHTED it to us! Super nice staff when were there as well.

Is there food here? I looked around and didn't see anyone eating, and didn't see any menus. I thought it was just a bar and arcade. We got some great drinks, the place was packed so it took a good 20 minutes. Then, we played some old fashioned pin ball! So fun! They have machines for getting tokens. A fun spot for sure and would return.

Farmhouse Tap & Grill in Vermont is a farm-to-table gastropub and seasonal beer garden that has played a significant role in Burlington's foodie movement. It replaced a McDonald's in 2010 and transformed the dining scene with its upscale comfort food featuring locally sourced ingredients. The menu includes gourmet burgers made from high-quality beef, turkey, and pork, as well as vegan and vegetarian options like quinoa dishes and black bean burgers.
Best meatloaf I've had in my life. It was very flavorful with plenty of herbs and spices, and the ingredients were as fresh as could be. The local beers they served were excellent. Definitely will be coming back here every time I visit Burlington.

The drinks and the atmosphere were both excellent; it is Vermont, after all. I always find the atmosphere delightful when visiting Vermont. I enjoyed the fries; they were warm, fresh, and crispy. My burger was cooked perfectly, although the caramelized onions were actually pickled onions, and the cheddar cheese lacked sharpness. My husband's burger was good, and he enjoyed it. He tasted my burger and agreed that it didn't quite meet my expectations.
Vilmarie B — Google review
As many have said, the atmosphere was great. Food was fair, but service is not. Came in at about 2:30 with the lunch rush finishing. We were seated right away with drink and food order taken promptly. And that’s where it stops. We were not checked back upon. The wait for the burgers were longer than it should have been. The burgers itself was just okay. Not bad, but not amazing. I wouldn’t say it was worth the wait. They definitely load up on fries to distract from the burger being on the smaller side for a $22 entree. I understand if the burgers were taking a while, but the server did not once check up on us or update us on our order progress.

We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and our table wasn’t ready, so we went outside for a drink. The bartender was friendly and made good drinks! Started out strong here, but then went down hill quickly. About 20 minutes later our table was ready. We headed inside and sat down. The server came over and gave us water but didn’t say hello or introduce themselves. About 10 minutes or so later, they came back and asked if we were ready to order. No offer to grab us drinks still so my one friend asked for a drink while placing her order. Our food came out about 20 minutes later (with an appetizer in between) and my friend ordered rigatoni and the plate came out with NO pasta on it. Additionally, I got the meatloaf and it was flavorless. Although the food came out quick, the service wasn’t great inside the restaurant and the food is overpriced for what you get. However, would recommend as a good place to go grab drinks in the beer garden in the back.

Service was excellent. Excellent place to enjoy dinner on the patio on a beautiful evening. Some food was excellent, some was fine. Mussels and tomato salad were very good. Burger was undercooked but bun and bacon were burnt. Tasted both charred and raw at the same time - flavor was good but it would have been so much better if cooked correctly. Overall though, a solid dinner and I would try again on a different night.
Lewis L — Google review
We arrived around 2pm and had a short 10 min wait while they cleared some tables. It didn’t seem very busy but we were warned that the kitchen was getting backed up so we should be quick to order. For drinks we had a beer, wine spritzer, rye sparking cocktail, a Negroni, and a special maple lemonade (very refreshing and tasty) - cocktails were fine but not consistent with some were more watered down than others. For the meal we ordered kids grilled cheese with salad and apples; lapatte river burger with cheddar, tuna tartar; and dry rub wings and onion rings as my main. I saw they had oysters and was told those aren’t served until 4… I thought ok, maybe next time. Our server for lack of a better word was grumpy and largely ignored any attempt to get his attention. We had to a very long wait of an hour; I finally asked could they at least bring the kids meal out first and he returned immediately with an excuse about how the kitchen is always backed up due to how they set up service stations. The rest of the food came out shortly after and was (almost) worth the wait. Everything was delicious! Dry-rub wings were amazing! Perfectly crispy skin and savory seasoning; the sauce for wings and onion rings tasted freshly made. Grilled cheese came on some nice toasted artisan bread with white cheddar. The burger was small but tasty and cooked to the right temp. The salad was pretty but nothing special, beets and pumpkin seeds were unexpected and not necessarily kid friendly - I couldn’t even tell that it was dressed. I tried the fries also and they were just ok. I think the appetizers are outstanding but couldn’t see returning because of the bad service/long waits. If you recall we got there for lunch at 2pm and were there long enough to order those oysters that weren’t available until 4pm!

My family and I found this place online while vacationing in Vermont. The service and atmosphere were extremely welcoming. We all enjoyed our meals. However, I need to call out the mussels, which I paired with their delicious fries (see pic). The mussels were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy. The buttery broth included mini golden russet potatoes and cherry tomatoes. The local draft brew I tried was also excellent. I will return next time I am in Burlington.

The Gryphon is a charming restaurant and bar located in a 19th-century brick building in Burlington. It offers an elegant yet laid-back atmosphere, serving eclectic American dishes and specialty cocktails. The menu features creative items such as sweet potato nachos, duck quesadillas, vineyard chowder, and wine country burgers. The establishment is also known for its delicious brews, craft cocktails, and mouth-watering food menu.
This place in Burlington is a real find! It has a cozy yet upscale vibe, making it suitable for any occasion. The menu offers classic American dishes with a modern twist, and each dish is flavorful. I had the braised beef I can't remember the full name, and it was perfectly cooked—smooth outside and tender inside. The cocktail selection is impressive; the Labrador Retriever I ordered was one of the best I've had recently. The staff were attentive and friendly, which made for a great experience. If you're in Burlington and want a memorable meal, The Gryphon should be on your list.

TLDR; great gluten free options My celiac friend and I were in town and stopped by The Gryphon based on some reviews we saw about their gluten free options and we were not disappointed. Although they do not have a dedicated gluten-free menu, most of their menu items are available gluten-free. We also confirmed with the bartender that they use a completely separate fryer for things like french fries which my celiac friend loves! We sat at the bar and I ordered an Apperal spritz. Our bartender was very personable without being overly attentive, even though we arrived pretty much right after they were opening. My drink was delicious, and the staff were very accommodating to some of our more interesting requests. We ordered the bread and maple butter with gluten-free bread. As someone who can eat, gluten, this was definitely one of the better gluten-free breads I’ve ever had. It was crispy and toasted on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside. My celiac friend was definitely pleased with this. I ordered a burger and we got gluten-free fries because those are her favorite! All in all, this was definitely a great experience because she was not sick after which means these were celiac friendly gluten-free not just gluten intolerant gluten-free. If you don’t know the difference, that’s OK! If you have a friend who is celiac, this is a safe and delicious option.

I enjoyed everything I ordered and will consider coming here again in the future.

Had a nice (Canadian) Thanksgiving dinner with the family here tonight. The food and portion size were quite stunning 😍! Started out with the Vinyard Chowder, and it was fabulous. Delicate seafood flavor with loads of seafood in there. Definitely recommend. For main, can't go wrong with big rib eye. The thickness of the steak was beyond my amazement. Worth every penny! For the end, I had a delicate chocolate mouse. It wasn't overly sweet, which is key in this type of dish. All in all, I would be back here when in the area!

Three Needs Tap Room in Burlington is a popular spot known for its cozy interior, laid-back atmosphere, and classy design. Although they don't brew on-site yet, they offer delicious local microbrews like the Chocolate Thunder Porter. The bar features pool tables and draws a friendly crowd of locals and visitors alike. It's a great place to unwind with friends or make new connections. Additionally, it's conveniently located near other attractions such as Pure Pop and Magic Hat Brewery.
Place is very cool. Pool hall in the back. Foosball and board games ready to go. Options for beer is awesome with a wide selection. Lots of character here, you can feel the history. I’d definitely recommend a visit. Pizza is pretty good, not great.

$1 beers! #duffhour 4 pm almost everyday till the keg kicks. Can’t go wrong! Good pizza. Bartenders are nice but not “nice.” I like it that way. Good place

When in Burlington, fill up at Three Needs! The pizza is excellent, crispy well cooked crust, no flop. I got a no cheese vegan pizza and it was delicious, the roasted garlic was a standout. Alex devoured the Sausage and Pepperoni pie and Sam was very into his pizza which had tomatoes, I’m always a little suspicious of that, but then again I had carmelized onions, so who is the suspicious one??? The beer was cold and served with care, on a disgustingly hot and humid day, who wants anything more. Alex raved about the cider, I had the Hazy Conehead (maybe?). This isn’t drunk pizza, this is legit anytime you want to enjoy the good life pizza, am I right?

Kinda wandered in here after after a 7 mile hike around the lake and I'm so glad I did. I was just in time for happy hour "duff hour". $1 beers and $1.50 pizza slices.... I repeat $1 beers and $1.50 pizza slices. I thought the beer would be like natty light or something but it was actually a really decent craft kolsh. And for the pizza... I was expecting cheap chucky cheese kind of pizza, but the pizza was actually really good!! They has a nice crowd of all ages. A nice outdoor patio area with couches to relax and chat with friends. This is Burlington's hidden gem.

Our bartender, Crystal, made this our favorite spot in Burlington! She was so kind, friendly, and welcoming. When we came back the next night, she remembered our names AND our drink orders! Such a great vibe, would come back every weekend!

Super disappointed in the service and treatment here. Worst customer sevice i have ever experienced. Came with a large group of friends and we were not allowed inside- (my husband walked up to the sidewalk while finishing a *non-alcoholic* polar seltzer water) We were told in an extremely rude manner we were not welcomed inside. Pizza is good, tho... The one and only saving grace. Sadly, will not be spending another penny here. You could pry it out of my cold dead hands. Would rather spend money on a 'za at little Caesars...

If u like rude bartenders, bedraggled security/door guys that lack any sense of customer service, disgusting bathrooms, sticky floors & over priced watered down drinks then this is a great place for u. It’s one of those bars that only seems to draw in the obnoxious uvm frat bros that don’t understand the word no…so hide your drinks ladies. I’d avoid this place at all costs!

While the environment and drinks are fine, the service is absolutely horrific. I witnessed a bouncer knock a drink out of a younger woman’s hand. The drink splashed all down her front. He also got in her face and yelled in it. As an older and loyal patron of this establishment, I will not be returning. Do better.

American Flatbread Burlington is a vibrant restaurant located in downtown Burlington, offering a diverse selection of craft beers and creative wood-fired pizzas topped with organic, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's warm brick-walled ambiance adds to the dining experience. Known for their farm-fresh flatbreads like the vegetarian Punctuated Equilibrium and a bar program featuring house-brewed craft beers, American Flatbread is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts.
Really nice atmosphere and pretty neat to see the wood fire oven in action. We ordered a half and half pizza with the local Vermont cheese half and one of the other specialty flatbreads. We also had a salad and both were delicious. This is a great place to take a family. It seems pretty popular and they were on a wait list as we were leaving, so you may want to reserve a table on the weekends.

American Flatbread Burlington: A Taste of Perfection! 🍕👌 I'm obsessed with American Flatbread in Burlington! This place is a game-changer for flatbread lovers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a warm, rustic decor that sets the tone for a delicious meal. The flatbreads? 🤯 TO. DIE. FOR. Each bite is a masterclass in flavor and texture. From classic margherita to creative combinations like fig and prosciutto, every option is expertly crafted. And the ingredients? Fresh, high-quality, and locally sourced whenever possible. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who are happy to offer recommendations or answer questions about the menu. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. If you're a foodie, or just looking for a great spot to grab a meal with friends or family, American Flatbread Burlington is a must-visit. Don't miss their weekend specials and events – they're always buzzing with excitement! - Fig and prosciutto flatbread (trust me on this one!) - Weekend brunch specials - Craft beer selection Can't wait to go back and try more!

We are in Burlington to drop off one of my red headed step children. He had been to this restaurant before so we decided to give it a try. The ambience is great. We were in the room with the oven where they make the pizzas. The step child and I split a pizza. We had over half "power to the people" and the other half the "medicine wheel". Both halves were great! My wife got a gluten free crust and that addition is a bit pricey compared to other places we've gone. But she also really liked her. I don't remember what kind but it had olives and stuff like that she likes. The waitress was also great and friendly.

The flatbread pizza was excellent. I could’ve easily had a few more slices! 🍕 Though there was a bit of a wait, we enjoyed strolling the nearby streets until our table was ready. Service was quick, and we loved sitting where we could watch the pizzas being made. Definitely a must-try!

Stopped here on our road trip from Montreal to Boston. Super cute place with wood burning pizza oven. Service was 5 stars, so attentive and friendly. There is a lunch special for a mini pizza and soup or salad (salad was huge and awesome) for $14.

By the time the pizzas came, I had aged enough to qualify for a senior discount! :) The toppings looked like they were practising social distancing. If you like waiting in real-time for the next ice age and then eating undercooked bread, this is your spot.

We ordered a takeout pizza, and it was delicious. We were delighted that we could order a vegan pizza - they have vegan cheese and plenty of plant based toppings to choose from. Highly recommended.

Hen of the Wood - Burlington is a farm-to-table restaurant located in an 1835 grist mill, offering a changing menu of thoughtfully sourced fare. The restaurant's rustic yet upscale culinary creations are the work of Chef Eric Warnstedt, known as the farm-to-table king of the Green Mountains.
This place is amazing! The cocktails at the bar were wonderful and the bartender was very engaging. We sat at the kitchen bar (chefs table) and got to watch the kitchen staff make the dinners. It was very interesting and fun to watch. The food was fantastic and the menu changes daily with different farm to table foods. I highly recommend it. The Parker House Rolls alone are worth the stop.

We came to celebrate being newly wed, and from the moment we walked in, the team made us feel like royalty. The management went above and beyond with a surprise toast of wine, a sweet handwritten card that said “congratulations,” and even a complimentary dessert that was as thoughtful as it was delicious. Such a personal touch, we were honestly blown away. Every bite of the food was unforgettable. We had everything from a few small plates to desserts. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing because the flavors were rich, fresh, and just perfectly balanced. I’m back home now and I swear, I can still taste it. That’s how good it was. This place has officially earned a special spot in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Vermont. Thank you, Head of the Wood, for making our celebration feel truly magical. INCREDIBLE. Would give 10 out of 5 stars if allowed. The heirloom tomatoes redefine fresh, flavor paired with the in-season corn, making the perfect end of summer bite. My hubs raved about the beef tongue. The mushrooms were ‘sparkling’ with a tempura touch and fall football vibe with the elevated buffalo-esque sauce, bubbling over with flavor. Yum needs an elevated cousin to characterize this beautiful establishment. The warmth of the people, atmosphere & joyful, giddy feeling you get from the food. It’s pure love. 4-5pm oyster hour 5pm the dining room opens

Everything from the staff, to the atmosphere, to the food was great and on point. With a name such as theirs, they did take their mushrooms seriously, as a fun-guy myself, I do enjoy a good mushroom. Their locally sourced Hen of the Woods Mushroom was fantastic and makes for a great dish on its own. I paired it with the mushroom ragu, and it enhanced an already good dish. Sitting at the cook's bar is all you need to not be distracted by your phone; watching them do what they enjoy is like watching an artist make art. The thoughtfully made gin cocktail was a smooth and a warming accompaniment to the meal. Before the main course arrived, I was treated to a blue cheese that had previously won "world's best blue cheese" and it did not disappoint. Now, I should've stopped there because the dessert is the only thing that didn't make this a "wow" experience from a food perspective; everything else was great! Even the display of their cold storage to show off the mushrooms. I should've listened to my heart and gone and got a scoop of B&J's, other than that I would most certainly recommend this place.

Visiting from FL and stumbled upon this place when looking for a place to eat dinner. They were able to seat us at the bar next to the chefs. Wow! What a great experience - service was fantastic, our food was fantastic, drinks were fantastic. It was really neat watching all of the chefs prepare meals. And for dessert we had the pumpkin tart and it was phenomenal. Overall, super impressed - definitely recommend anyone visiting to stop in for great food, drinks, and service!

Dishes are really perfect! Better reserve the seats beforehand as the restaurant is quite busy. The dishes are really perfect! The menus are always updated from time to time depending on the seasonal and fresh market food. A lot of choices of wines for your selection. Environment is decent and comfortable, waiter is very knowledgeable and friendly to introduce the special dishes and recommend the right wines for us. Small plates and big plates are very very delicious and perfect. Only the dessert we ordered is a little bit sweet for myself, maybe next time I will choose some ice cream.

Food was excellent. Had Roasted Beet Salad, Charred Cabbage, and Ribeye for two. All were done extremely well, not over-seasoned, well presented,… We found the atmosphere a bit too loud and difficult to have a conversation but loved the look and feel of the place otherwise - very comfortable and unpretentious

We were fortunate to be seated at the bar by the kitchen to see the magicians at work. Truly the team of artists works like a symphony conducted by the expediter chef who inspects and puts finishing touches on every item leaving the kitchen. Everything about this place is perfection and it was amazing to watch…. The food is exceptional. The waiter is an expert, promoting questions and providing insightful suggestions. Overall like few other places and simply better than the rest.

Coffee - not the best Other than the coffee everything was very good.

It's SO loud! Dirty dishes get thrown into plastic tubs in the dining area and the design is not set up to absorb extra noise. Acoustically it is excessively loud. Service was very good! Food was above average. Diverse breakfast menu oh, good for those who are vegetarians.

Made it just in time on aug1 before they have a short store break from aug2-11. We arrived a little before 9am and the store was packed! There were no available tables and were told to check back in 15mins. True to their word, they had a table left for us when we returned 15mins later. Service staff were friendly and helpful with everything that we needed. Food options were aplenty. Coffee from the jar did not really suit my palate though. I did not get through more than 2-3 mouthfuls of it. The plain pancake taken with butter and maple syrup was a great choice. I liked my griddled egg and cheese sandwich with sourdough bread. The sourdough was really... sour. The potato salad from my friend's portion of, i am not sure what was great. She agreed so too. I could have more of that! A bustling little store. Loved the vibes. Will be back on my next visit to Vermont!

DELICIOUS brunch, but be prepared to wait around an hour or two before having a table because it is always crowded The Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Verdes and the buttermilk pancake were very good plates and everything tasted fresh. Good brunch place in Burlington recommended by our Airbnb host. We really liked the pancakes (we reordered), the savory dishes were good but we were a tad disappointed. If you're into huevos rancheros you'll be happy here, they have a few variations of the dish. They have full liquor license and serve great cocktails for a boozy brunch.

Seafood restaurant
Shanty On The Shore is a classic seafood restaurant and raw bar located by Lake Champlain, offering traditional surf 'n' turf dishes with stunning views. The eatery exudes a coastal New England seafood-shack vibe with its original thick wood beams that have weathered over two centuries of waterfront exposure. The menu predominantly features baked, broiled, raw, and fried seafood dishes to maintain its old-school charm. Visitors praise the delicious food, excellent service, and picturesque views at this establishment.
Our table had a lovely view of Lake Champlain. We had a large lobster and the Captain's fried seafood platter, as well as a shrimp cocktail. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The lobster was sweet, the fried seafood platter had haddock, shrimp, clams, fries and coleslaw. We hardly touched the fries because the portions were generous and the other items were just so tasty, we didn't want to waste the tummy space! Waitresses were college students who are Burlington natives, who gave us great service and tourist advice. Highly recommend!
Gay T — Google review
The food was good overall, everyone in our party seemed to enjoy their meal. I wasn't wow'd by anything, but nothing was really bad. My clam chowder was pretty good, but the first thing I could taste was herbs instead of clams - not bad, but not what I was expecting for clam chowder. Those that ordered the lobster bisque said it was good. My captains platter wasn't terribly impressive, the bread crumbs on top of the fish were soggy in many places and honestly the fish would have been better without them. It also smelled very fishy when my plate was brought out, and I'm not very sensitive to these smells; the fish flavors ended up being fine. The potato was a little dry while the vegetables were sad and soggy. My colleague's wings and shrimp scampi (he ordered it without tomato sauce) looked very good and he said he enjoyed them (making me regret both my choices 😂). Our server was nice and friendly and took care of us pretty quickly. The atmosphere inside is fun with the nautical theme and the views are very nice, although the door to the deck was locked so I wasn't able to go out for pictures.

This place was recommended to us for getting a lobster and we loved it. We have been back four times and always have a great experience. Many tables offer views of the lake, which is extra nice during sunset. The wait staff has always been wonderful, even though they are very busy and young kids for the most part. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy.
Jan H — Google review
Save your hard earned money and pass on this restaurant, simply Not good, edible just edible. The seafood platter bland, the bread crumbs on top added no flavor I had to put salt and pepper on almost all my seafood for it to be palatable. The fried calamari was oily and seeped in oil and the meaty part mushy like it’s been frozen and thawed. If you see my picture, we picked off the bread on the calamari because it was just too drenched in oil. Not worth the money spent on the meal.

Fantastic spot on the water. Our server was so kind and attentive. I also overheard other servers who all seemed to be excited to serve others, which is nice to see. I had two visits in two days. First visit no wait courteous service, about 30 percent occupancy. Staff was attentive and checked in regularly. Had a couple drinks, after ordering food came out quickly and was very good. Second time about 75 percent or so seemed to be a little understaffed. Staff was friendly and polite but clearly in a rush, after ordering didn't talk to the waitress again until checkout. Overall I would absolutely recommend going here. Great drink selection, atmosphere and food.

Fish and chips here is delicious and huge portions. Big filet of fish, lightly battered, you couldn't beat it in many other places. Their fries are also pretty great. Had a Caesar salad as replacement too which was tasty. The server was super chill. He gave some suggestions/advice on what food to get which was helpful.

Really nice Irish pub with a very simple food menu. Starters and mainly burgers. We got the BBQ ones. They were good and the fries also tasty. The service very friendly and the price was good. The tables to sit aren't the best .. it is best for people who want to sit in the bar.

This was our first meal ever in Burlington. First off, our waitress Juliet was amazing! She was gorgeous, friendly to my daughter, gave great service, and professional. We had the nachos which I would give a B+. Chips were fresh but could use more toppings. My daughter had the chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was not fresh, it was frozen, and disgusting for the price I paid. I had the fish and chips which was a huge portion and delicious. The bar was a typical Irish pub with the stale beer and dirty floors feel. Nice place to meet up with friends and watch a game. To say it needs to updating though would be and understatement.

Stopped in for a late dinner. The website said the kitchen was open until 10pm so we figured we had plenty of time since we would be there by around 9pm. When we walked in we were told that they were done with table service but we could sit at the bar to order, which was fine. I asked them what time the kitchen was open until and they said they were closing the kitchen early since it was a slower night. That is the only reason why the rating was brought from a 5 star to a 4 star. We were relying on their website to be accurate as to what time the kitchen was open since we were driving from about a half hour away to go there and it made us feel a bit rushed to order and eat. The staff was very friendly and didn't make us feel like we couldn't order or anything, but I felt bad being that close to the kitchen closing. Food came out very quickly and was delicious! The bartender forgot to put in the appetizers we had ordered (Boxty Beer Rocks & Wings) which was a bit of a bummer since I was excited to try them, but she was apologetic and very nice. I feel like this was a result of the kitchen trying to close early and her rushing to get the order placed. We are looking forward to going back and trying the apps that we missed out on!
Kayla D — Google review
Food was good, we only had the Nachos and they were excellent. The ambiance is nice, but the service ruined everything. We showed up at about 15h30, the place was rather empty yet the two girls at reception made us feel like we could not come in then they finally said ok and led us to the first table in the place. We waited for service for about 20 min but no one came. We told them we were ready, but they said we have to get service from the bar. Strange as they were both just standing around. We went to the bar ordering drinks took 10 min because they served flat beer and got the keg changed. It was taking so long that we asked for a different beer. Nice place, terrible service. I guess they make millions so they don't have to be nice. Or maybe this is one of those specialty restaurants that insult their customers.

El Cortijo Taqueria Y Bar is a popular Mexican restaurant located in the heart of Burlington. It offers a vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu featuring a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant is part of the Farmhouse Restaurants group and is known for its clever margaritas and delicious tacos and burritos. The hip taqueria is housed in a narrow, 1950s diner car, adding to its unique charm.
During my recent trip to Burlington, I was in the mood for some good Mexican food, and El Cortijo Taqueria came highly recommended. The retro ambiance immediately drew me in—it’s such a fun and unique spot that adds a lot of character to the dining experience. Despite the place being fairly busy, we were seated surprisingly quickly, and service throughout was prompt and friendly. I ordered a pollo rice bowl, and my friend went with the pescado. Both dishes were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the sauces—especially the bartender’s special—really elevated everything. I loved how the flavors all came together in a satisfying way. That said, the pricing did feel a little on the high side. Around $20 for a rice bowl or $22 for three tacos is more than I’d normally expect to pay. But in fairness, the service, ambiance, and overall quality helped justify the cost. Portions were decent, and I left feeling full and happy. If you’re looking for a flavorful, vibrant Mexican meal in downtown Burlington and don't mind spending a little extra for quality and convenience, I definitely recommend El Cortijo. I’d go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in town!

We had a lot of fun. It was our first time visiting Burlington and we were craving for some Mexican food. It was one of the top rated restaurants on google and the retro ambience it has was one of the factors of us choosing this place to have some food. Amazing choices of food and the meat was juicy and tender!!
Yash C — Google review
Walking into El Cortijo was a shock to my olfactory system — the strong smell of urine hit me immediately. Luckily, my nose adjusted once they turned on the AC, and the smell faded. The menu was nothing special — your basic tacos and other staples you'd expect at a Mexican restaurant. When I came in, they were playing rap throwbacks, which didn’t really match the vibe of the place. Eventually, the music shifted to artists like Frank Ocean or Tyler, the Creator, and finally to some Hispanic tracks that actually matched the food. The ambiance was average — decor was basic, a casual diner setup. Service was standard nothing bad nothing amazing to praise. Fish Tacos These were very good. They reminded me of a taco spot called Escondite. The fish was delicious, the cabbage added a great crunch, and the sauce was flavorful — though I definitely wanted more of it. 8.4/10 Shrimp Tacos The sauce was very spicy and kind of overpowered everything else. It was still a good taco, but I wish it had a creamy sauce to balance the heat. The one random slice of carrot felt out of place — I wish they added something more thoughtful instead of just pineapple. 7.6/10 Fries Over-salted but well-seasoned. I loved the queso — overall pretty good. 7/10 Side Dishes Rice: Basic Spanish rice, but honestly? Delectable. I loved it. 9.5/10 Side Salad: Surprisingly a 10/10. The dressing was amazing and brought it all together. I genuinely loved it. Final Thoughts All in all, it's a decent spot. Would I go back? Probably not. The area felt a little sketchy — people walking by in the alley next to the restaurant made me grip my purse a little tighter. And while the food was solid, I don’t see myself returning to a place where the bathroom smells better than the dining area.

We came down from Canada to Burlington and ate at some great restaurants there. This was the one place we went back to twice! The staff were very attentive, engaging, and helpful. The food was very very good. We had the huevos rancheros, a chorizo torta, and a chorizo omelette. The winners? The huevos rancheros, and the potatoes. Very flavourful, good balance and portion size. Each element of the huevos rancheros was delicious independently and paired with other elements on the plate. They do potatoes differently here - crunchy, salty, fried. So good! The staff really care about the food, the uniqueness of a diner experience, and the details. While there we saw healthy discussions among the staff about the ideal angle for sign tilting, consistency of the margaritas, outdoor sign art, and the music selection. Every thing went to show how much care goes into this place and the food. Chris was cooking and came to check in on us. He even gave us a sample of the Chilaquiles to try when he heard how far we’d come. We felt so welcomed, taken care of, and full as we left each time. I can’t wait to go back and introduce El Cortijo to my people.

We are here visiting and wanted Mexican so stopped into this little spot. At first I was a little put off by the pricing, but let me tell you, it's worth every penny. We ordered 2 tacos-pollo and pork with black beans and rice on the side and a wet burrito. The beans and rice were so flavorful, I was in love immediately. The tacos were delicious, so much flavor and the fresh, local ingredients really shine. The wet burrito was amazing too. We also tried the Rookies Root Beer and the Mapleade, that were both refreshing and crazy good. Highly recommend you stop by and try this place if you are looking for incredible food with great service and atmosphere.
Barb S — Google review
Our order wound up super delayed for some reason. To their credit they did acknowledge it and offer us the bill at half price. I'm not sure if that kind of put a damper on the meal, but I would say that the food was about average. There was a little bit of a funny smell in the place which was a little off-putting. Overall cozy, and I wonder if maybe I would rate it a little bit differently if we had had a little bit of a different experience with the service. Very nice people.

City Market/Onion River Co-op is a downtown market in Burlington, Vermont that offers locally grown and Vermont-made products, including fruits, vegetables, bulk food items, local cheese and dairy products, bakery items, wellness products, beer and wine. The co-op is owned by 9,000 members but open to everyone. It also features a hot and cold salad bar with fresh meals daily.
The best place to stop in for a quick, affordable lunch! Exceptional customer service. I accidentally grabbed a very melee apple for lunch. They let me switch out for a firm apple, no questions asked. Very human place.
Nicholas F — Google review
We stopped by this market to get some small snacks. It’s giving me whole food market vibes. The store is spacious. Hot food bar at the door but it’s empty. Lots organic merchandise. Variety of grocery items, home supplies, snacks and drinks. Staff were very nice and helpful. They definitely keep the store clean.
Sharon H — Google review
Nice crunchy store with a good selection of a little bit of everything. Good for weekly shopping out to pick up ingredients for a quick meal.
Kevin M — Google review
Love the Co-op. Always has what we need. Clean. Safe. Affordable. Been going here for 30 years, when the store was down by riverside.
William M — Google review
Prices here are moderate I would say although there are some items which are exceedingly expensive such as meat. I also think their prepared foods are priced too highly, especially for the quality which is just good, not great. The staff is nice overall, but there is definitely a problem with drugged out homeless people hanging out outside the store's entrance and exit pretty much anytime I visited
Adam L — Google review
Great Co-op. We got one of the most delicious whole milk we've tried. The to-go meals are delicious, specially the tomato basil soup.

I LOVED this store! Stopped in 1st day of our 5 day stay at nearby hotel for a work conference. My coworker and I wanted to get a bottle of wine, water and snacks for our room over the week. We got nuts, chocolate, and other bits from the bins. I also bought some kombucha right from the tap which is really great, as the only option for me to buy kombucha back home is buy bottles. I also got some soup to bring back too. Great concept to have to run a co-op!
Niamh D — Google review
Subpar experience at the sandwich deli. Ordered a takeout chicken parmesan sandwich, sandwich was not heated through. The precut fried chicken was dry, meat was barely warm in spots, cold in the middle, marinara sauce was bland, mozzarella cheese was barely melted. I expected better quality for the price and reputation of the store.

Located in the heart of the city, The Whiskey Room is a popular spot for whiskey enthusiasts and those looking for a vibrant nightlife experience. Housed in a building that resembles an old bank, this venue opens its doors at 5 pm every night and offers an impressive selection of whiskeys, scotch, and bourbon. The tapas-style food menu complements the drinks perfectly.
Very happy with the experience. Food, while limited, was on point. Drinks is where they excel, bartenders know their stuff. If I'm ever in the area again you'll find me here. This is the spot if you want a chill and welcoming atmosphere.
Shamus S — Google review
Nice owners been there a long time chatting up and friendly. Nice atmosphere of dark wood and place to sip.
Kevin M — Google review
The cocktails are delicious and creative. The friendly bartenders are knowledgeable and make the experience even better.
AJ F — Google review
The exterior of The Whiskey Room is impressive. I think it was a bank in a past life. But I was expecting that feeling to carry on into the inside and it wasn't. Though it's nice inside, I found it too dark and sombre for my taste. I came in principally to get a Scotch and they have a decent selection of bottles on offer. They also offer food but since I'd already eaten I didn't look at what they had. I sat at a very pleasant wood bar that was small and cozy. The bartender was friendly and efficient. There weren't many people there when I was there at around 7pm. midweek but I imagine it fills up later in the evening. All in all it's an okay place for a dram of Whiskey.
Erik S — Google review
Cocktails and whiskey selection are fantastic. The knowledge and experience of staff helps you appreciate your drink, find new favorites, and learn about the nuances of whiskey profiles. Awesome bar.

The moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome & a smile. Mike served us the entire time, he was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. What a wonderful personality he had and gave us some interesting history about the place as well. We can’t wait to go back. They had nice cocktails & whiskeys, food was proper. I recommend trying this place out, it has a laidback vibe to it. They have a fireplace to the left when you come in.

Finnigan's Pub is a classic Irish bar with a convivial atmosphere, offering a sizable beer list and the opportunity to watch sports on TV. It's popular among Vermont locals and provides a dimly lit, cozy setting reminiscent of the Cheers bar from 1980s TV. The pub is often crowded but still maintains its welcoming vibe. While there is no food available, they offer an excellent selection of beverages, including local favorites like Hill Farmstead.
Went to Finnegan’s two nights in a row as out-of-towners. We were met with the friendliest bar staff and even from the other patrons. Everyone was eager to tell us where to check out in town for eats and when we came back the second night they remembered and asked how it was. Very local, unpretentious and overall such a vibe.

Forgive me because I have a hard time remembering names, but Joe and his wife and the rest of the crew that night were absolute superstars. It's been a while since I've talked baseball with anyone aside from my old man. Again. An absolute charm if you're ever in the Burlington area looking for a bevy.

Got pretty smashed 5 out of 5 because I don’t remember much. Would recommend. they don’t cut you off too :) watch out for the cantankerous collage students though they have a hard time walking for some reason.

Great bar with a number of TVs to watch sports. First time there and I watched the USA vs England World Cup match. They had a great beer selection, including Hill Farmstead - my favorite, and were able to make any drink we asked for. It was quite busy and there is no food offered there. The bathrooms are downstairs and can take a little time to be free. I will likely be returning again for the next world cup USA match!!

Deep City Restaurant + Bar is a popular dining spot nestled in Burlington, offering a diverse menu of elevated pub food and ever-changing specials crafted by Executive Chef Christina Scifo. The restaurant prides itself on working closely with local purveyors and farms to showcase the freshest Vermont and New England ingredients. Housed in a renovated lumber mill near the waterfront, Deep City features a craft cocktail bar serving an array of cocktails, ciders, wines, and Foam Beer favorites from the affiliated brewery.
Best brunch in Burlington! The restaurant has a great variety, each dish surpassing in expectations than the previous. Must try their specials: chicken and biscuit stew and pound cake. Made my day!

This place totally rocks! Excellent atmosphere, very clean, lots of light, lovely decor. Our waiter Nathaniel was outstanding, he was chill but attentive, very authentic, and attentive to details that are important to us such as lemons 🍋 for water, coffee refills without having to ask, and food brought to us hot without delay. Also, being very busy, we did not feel rushed at all by our waiter. We always tip well when not rushed. Food was incredible! We highly recommend this place!!!!! Thank You! 🙏🏼 🎉😎

Eating here was such an pleasant experience - food, staff people and setting were all just great. We are vegan and the hostess was very knowledgeable (we didn’t have to explain!), pointing out to us in detail the several vegan options on the menu. We had an absolutely delicious vegan lunch. The wait people were so friendly; we felt like valued guests. And the setting is casual and comfortable. This is just such a nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

Probably the best brunch spot in Burlington! Excellent food, great coffee, friendly service and good brunch cocktails! The biscuits and herb gravy arey favorite, will be back soon!
Nick G — Google review
My second time coming here and I can safely say this is the best brunch spot in the state of Vermont, hands down. The menu is unique but also has a number of classic brunch-style dishes. We were told it would be an hour wait during peak brunch time but we got seated in less than an hour (and it’s worth the wait so we didn’t mind and came prepared). I would come here every week if I could. My only tiny bit of feedback is that I think the cocktails could be a little more elevated for the price they’re charging, but it’s still a 5* experience all around.
Francesca L — Google review
A hip new American restaurant with a hint of southern flavor by the shore, popular location on the weekend with friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, it shared the bathroom with the adjacent brewery and lack of the changing table in both men and women's restroom. They also added a 2% hidden charge of "kitchen service fee" which I was not aware of before ordering. I would be fine if I was informed ahead of time or they charged higher price per dish to increase the pay for the staff but was annoyed to learn this while I received the check. Still a decent dining experience and I would still recommend this place.
Ling C — Google review
I was recommended to dine here by a friend who added that FOAM brewery next door is the best in state! The menu is small so I expect each item to be on point. Their decadent take on poutine was amazing, with hunks of short rib in the gravy and a whipped pimento cheese. The chicken burger and beef burger was completely forgettable. I was hoping the wood fired beets would be showcasing the locally sourced organic beets but maybe it just isn’t the year for beets, as they were watery and flavourless though cooked and dressed well. The service was excellent and their indoor/outdoor spaces were very welcoming.
Alison T — Google review
We stumbled upon this place while taking an exploratory walk when arriving in Burlington for the first time ever. Best place we've happened upon in years by pure accident. The service by Claire what phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The wine and beer selection was fantastic, as was the food. They had everything on the menu, that applied, listed with gluten free, vegetarian or vegan connotations, which made ordering a breeze. We ordered the beets (some of the best we've ever had), the vegan poutine, and a side of fries with the lemon aioli and a side of the beef gravy. All of the food was beyond expectation and if we were staying here for more than one night, we would certainly be back. I can't recommend highly enough!

Hotel Vermont is a modern and stylish hotel located in the heart of Burlington. It offers a range of amenities including a gym, business center, and options for casual and fine dining. The hotel is family-friendly and conveniently situated within walking distance of popular attractions such as Church Street Marketplace and Waterfront Park. Guests can take advantage of recreational facilities like the 24-hour fitness center and rent bicycles to explore the area.
We had a wonderful trip here. My husband had a conference at the college, one that even held a dinner here. I have to say the food was outstanding! We had a Taste of Vermont dinner where each course was better than the next! But even at breakfast each morning...outstanding! Loved the design of the room, the use of wood throughout, the lovely veranda off the restaurant...just everything. It's a great location, close to Church St and the waterfront, a two minute walk either way. All in all, a great spot!

I am obsessed with this property. I LOVED all the local Vermont touches in the room, you can really tell how much they support their local community- it being locally owned makes a huge difference. I loved the communal water/tea station with the reusable (and locally made!) glasses and mugs. Juniper had incredible food, and felt very farm to table. The location is unbeatable. Staff went above and beyond. Their commitment to sustainability is something I think every hotel should strive for.

I have traveled a dozen times to Vermont in the last year, and most of these trips I stayed to Hotel Vermont. It is, in my opinion, the best hotel in Burlington. It is locally owned and operated which makes a world of difference when everything is a chain and a corporation. The staff is always very helpful and the rooms are always clean. The Juniper Bar has great food and ambiance, and the Hen of the Woods (a door over) is my favorite restaurant in BT. The hotel is a short walk from the waterfront, and a couple more minutes to Church Street. I also appreciate that they have a Quebecers discount, which shows they are aware and appreciate their clientele. I am always looking forward to my next stay at Hotel Vermont!

If you’re thinking of booking it- DO IT!!! Excellent on all points- staff was over the top friendly and helpful, the rooms and amenities very clean and cozy features everywhere you look! The unique design throughout hotel was nice, water, teas and coffee bar on each floor and the outdoor terrace with fire pits were so cozy! Juniper for cocktails, apps and the best honey pot espresso was so nice to have without leaving the hotel. I even left behind an expensive jacket and they had it and mailing it back to me- 5 starts all around!
Leah F — Google review
Didn't stay there, but went for the jazz evening, every Wednesday night. Such a wonderful ambiance, nice, cozy, and the music is divine. All the regular band members, and then you get extra these guest players who participate. The seating area with bar and the outside patio is beautiful, creating a wonderful intimate atmosphere where everyone can mingle. It almost gives a vibe of a open plan speak easy kind of thing. Loved it! The bartender, Sarah, and Kate were perfect in every aspect. Huge smiles, great conversation, and absolute perfection with the drinks.
Waleed M — Google review
This hotel is in a great location close to lake and church st marketplace. Juniper restaurant is fantastic- the charcuterie board is amazing! Staff was great. Rooms are a little beat up and noisy. We paid an enormous amount given the time of year (mid September) and it was not worth it. We could hear neighbors showering and every time they opened and closed door the whole wall shook. While I appreciate working with local vendors, I think some of the newer hotels might be cleaner and quieter.
Heidi M — Google review
We couldn't be more happy with our stay. The rooms were spacious, had high-end artisanal soap made in Vermont, and were very clean. Each floor has a centrally located on-demand, freshly ground coffee machine and a sparkling water dispenser. The hotel is well located to many downtown restaurants. I would stay here again without hesitation. Cyclists should note that the hotel staff is super accommodating. We used the hotel as a base for a 5-day cycling trip. They agreed to receive our bike from UPS a day early, allowed us to take the bike to our room, agreed to store the bike case while we rode north for a few days, and agreed to allow UPS to pick up the bike from the hotel after we departed. That made all the difference in trip logistics.

You can’t find a better full service hotel in Burlington Vermont. A must stay…The Hotel Vermont “Rocks”. For a two night couples stay with a romantic foodie getaway from the hustle of life! Request Room 610, it’s a corner King Room that offers fantastic views of Lake Champlain and the Marina and the New York Adiorondak Mountains! With glimpses of Bald Eagles foraging for diner! A must visit in the upper arm of northern Vermont. And Dawson will see that you find the most fantastic dinner spot. He is an amazing front desk representative of this establishment.

Drink is a cozy and laid-back bar with a creative touch, offering an array of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and infused vodka cocktails. It's a popular spot for catching up with friends as it usually has ample seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The bar also features board games for patrons to enjoy while sipping on their drinks. While the venue has undergone some changes, including the removal of couches and board games, it still offers a pleasant ambiance with stylish decor and comfortable seating options.
Drink is exactly that and more. Excellent drink selection. The few servers I've run into there know how to make a plethora of drinks. Limited food menu but then again, the place isn't exactly called Eat. Enjoy your time they're w nice specials and reasonable prices. Attached an updated menu hehe.

The remodel is great and the staff is super friendly. I met a friend here once even though I don’t drink and suggested to the bartender they make a non-alcoholic Old Fashioned. The next week or so I went with my wife for date night and sure enough they had NA Old Fashioned on the menu! Unheard of customer service and responsiveness 🫶🏻

The place has really improved recently with great service and atmosphere, and is our solid go-to place when we want to go out for a drink. We seem to always hit the nights when they have live music, and I appreciate that it's not overly amplified so you can both enjoy the music and have a conversation with your friends. We also like the variety of seating - good for a quick drink after work, or couples, or small parties.
Joe W — Google review
Just went in for an after dinner drink and it was nice. Music playing was like 70s rock and was at the perfect volume. The lighting was nice and dark giving an old time feel. The drinks were good though it took a few minutes to get even though it was pretty empty in there. I do recognize part of that was because these cocktails are all made from scratch and can take some time. Overall I'd say it's a place worth going to.
