Restaurant
Hen of the Wood - Burlington is a farm-to-table restaurant located in an 1835 grist mill, offering a changing menu of thoughtfully sourced fare. The restaurant's rustic yet upscale culinary creations are the work of Chef Eric Warnstedt, known as the farm-to-table king of the Green Mountains.
This place is amazing! The cocktails at the bar were wonderful and the bartender was very engaging. We sat at the kitchen bar (chefs table) and got to watch the kitchen staff make the dinners. It was very interesting and fun to watch. The food was fantastic and the menu changes daily with different farm to table foods. I highly recommend it. The Parker House Rolls alone are worth the stop.

We came to celebrate being newly wed, and from the moment we walked in, the team made us feel like royalty. The management went above and beyond with a surprise toast of wine, a sweet handwritten card that said “congratulations,” and even a complimentary dessert that was as thoughtful as it was delicious. Such a personal touch, we were honestly blown away. Every bite of the food was unforgettable. We had everything from a few small plates to desserts. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing because the flavors were rich, fresh, and just perfectly balanced. I’m back home now and I swear, I can still taste it. That’s how good it was. This place has officially earned a special spot in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Vermont. Thank you, Head of the Wood, for making our celebration feel truly magical. Mr. & Mrs. Posik ❤️

INCREDIBLE. Would give 10 out of 5 stars if allowed. The heirloom tomatoes redefine fresh, flavor paired with the in-season corn, making the perfect end of summer bite. My hubs raved about the beef tongue. The mushrooms were ‘sparkling’ with a tempura touch and fall football vibe with the elevated buffalo-esque sauce, bubbling over with flavor. Yum needs an elevated cousin to characterize this beautiful establishment. The warmth of the people, atmosphere & joyful, giddy feeling you get from the food. It’s pure love. 4-5pm oyster hour 5pm the dining room opens
Grace L — Google review
Everything from the staff, to the atmosphere, to the food was great and on point. With a name such as theirs, they did take their mushrooms seriously, as a fun-guy myself, I do enjoy a good mushroom. Their locally sourced Hen of the Woods Mushroom was fantastic and makes for a great dish on its own. I paired it with the mushroom ragu, and it enhanced an already good dish. Sitting at the cook's bar is all you need to not be distracted by your phone; watching them do what they enjoy is like watching an artist make art. The thoughtfully made gin cocktail was a smooth and a warming accompaniment to the meal. Before the main course arrived, I was treated to a blue cheese that had previously won "world's best blue cheese" and it did not disappoint. Now, I should've stopped there because the dessert is the only thing that didn't make this a "wow" experience from a food perspective; everything else was great! Even the display of their cold storage to show off the mushrooms. I should've listened to my heart and gone and got a scoop of B&J's, other than that I would most certainly recommend this place.

Visiting from FL and stumbled upon this place when looking for a place to eat dinner. They were able to seat us at the bar next to the chefs. Wow! What a great experience - service was fantastic, our food was fantastic, drinks were fantastic. It was really neat watching all of the chefs prepare meals. And for dessert we had the pumpkin tart and it was phenomenal. Overall, super impressed - definitely recommend anyone visiting to stop in for great food, drinks, and service!
Aryn H — Google review
Dishes are really perfect! Better reserve the seats beforehand as the restaurant is quite busy. The dishes are really perfect! The menus are always updated from time to time depending on the seasonal and fresh market food. A lot of choices of wines for your selection. Environment is decent and comfortable, waiter is very knowledgeable and friendly to introduce the special dishes and recommend the right wines for us. Small plates and big plates are very very delicious and perfect. Only the dessert we ordered is a little bit sweet for myself, maybe next time I will choose some ice cream.
Doris C — Google review
Food was excellent. Had Roasted Beet Salad, Charred Cabbage, and Ribeye for two. All were done extremely well, not over-seasoned, well presented,… We found the atmosphere a bit too loud and difficult to have a conversation but loved the look and feel of the place otherwise - very comfortable and unpretentious
Jacob S — Google review
We were fortunate to be seated at the bar by the kitchen to see the magicians at work. Truly the team of artists works like a symphony conducted by the expediter chef who inspects and puts finishing touches on every item leaving the kitchen. Everything about this place is perfection and it was amazing to watch…. The food is exceptional. The waiter is an expert, promoting questions and providing insightful suggestions. Overall like few other places and simply better than the rest.

Chinese restaurant
Asian restaurant
A Single Pebble is a popular Chinese restaurant in Burlington, known for its family-style dining and fresh local ingredients infused with Asian flavors. The chef-owner, Chiuho Sampson, left a career in photojournalism to pursue her love for Chinese cuisine. The menu offers a variety of meatless options and dishes like pork fried rice, scallion pancakes, and pad thai. The Chef Tasting menu allows guests to sample nine different dishes portioned to their party size.
Amazing food, great friendly service! We stop here every time we’re in Burlington for the mock eel! I’m super happy that they added the tasting menus; I was worried going there with just two people that we wouldn’t be able to try a lot of things, but the tasting menus (a meat menu and a vegetarian menu) let us try everything while we were there for our anniversary. Love the atmosphere, and the food and drinks were delicious!
Billy M — Google review
We had the tangerine chicken, chicken pad Thai, potato dumplings & veggie dumplings in chili oil! Everything was very good - huge portions meant for more than one person. Everything comes to you on a lazy Susan type of thing and things just come out as they’re ready. Very fresh! Staff was attentive and helpful, very friendly. The turtle cheesecake is a must! Just a note for fellow wheelchair users - call in advance and ask for a table on the first floor, there are only a few down there and they fill up! The other two sections of the restaurant are only accessible by stairs. Great dinner and a nice night!!
Audrey F — Google review
Had the chefs dinner here last night and, while it was delicious and enough for two, I don’t think it was worth the price. I would go with entrees next time. Especially loved the basil shrimp and the beef dish. The dessert was disappointing.
Patra M — Google review
I recently stayed at a nearby hotel and walked over to check out this restaurant’s menu. Prices were not listed on the menu outside, but I called in an order for pickup. The staff on the phone and at the counter were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the meal itself did not seem to match the price. The pictured to-go order—green beans, white rice, and shrimp—was over $80. I wasn’t informed of the cost beforehand, and since I had just arrived in town, I didn’t think to ask. I assumed prices would be slightly above average given the college-town location, but the total was a surprise when I arrived to pick up my food. The shrimp unfortunately were overcooked and chewy. On the positive side, the green beans were very flavorful. While I appreciate the great service, the food quality and pricing together left me disappointed. Be sure to ask the prices here. I didn’t believe the cost and had to double check on their menu. The shrimp dish was almost $50 and the green beans were $19.

We absolutely love A Single Pebble! The service is always incredible and so is the food! Reservations a must! I love all of the delicious vegan options! Everything is family style with large portions. My favorites are the salt and pepper tofu, the scallion pancakes, the vegan Buddha beef. You can't go wrong with anything you order here!
Marisa S — Google review
I don’t often give low reviews but honestly not sure what all the hype is about. Been a few times now. Food is OK, we got the mock eel, bao buns, and beef special. The bao buns were the best. The mock eel and beef special were both on the saltier side. For how expensive each dish was, I was expecting better. I think the best thing to do is the tasting menu where you get a ton of dishes but for $90 something a person that seemed steep…
Erich S — Google review
Booked a reservation for 3. Hostess was great, waitress was on time. We ordered family style as suggested. Portions were fine but our food didn’t smash it out of the park like I remember this place doing. Our fried rice was over cooked and didn’t have much of a fry to it. One set of meat dumplings came out cool on one side. Then our fried tangerine chicken didn’t have much crisp. Waitress was a sweetheart and knew everything about the food. This place was a world class restaurant when I went to school here something different happened Thursday night.
Brock L — Google review
A Single Pebble has been my favorite for over 5 years. We take family and guests from out of town for elevated Szechuan cuisine and an overall special experience. After a lackluster and nearly inedible meal tonight, I'm so disappointed. Our usual favorite tasted nothing like the dish I've ordered for 5 years. We asked for medium spice - this usually has lip-numbing spice - and got a lukewarm dish that was neither spicy, nor true to the dish we've always gotten. It's like the kitchen forgot to add the key ingredients that impart flavor. I know because I make this dish at home frequently, and I'm always trying to emulate their version. A different vegetable side dish was $25....and was inedible. I actually spat it out. I believe there are new owners here. If so, I hope they can turn things around. We have decided to wait a few months before going back in the hopes that the kitchen was just having an off night. We drive 45 minutes both ways for this special place, but won't take this chance again soon. One entree, two veg sides. One cocktail. $120. Ouch.

Restaurant
Pho Hong is a popular Vietnamese restaurant located on North Winooski Avenue in Burlington, New England. It has been serving authentic Vietnamese dishes since 2008 and recently expanded its space to accommodate more diners. Despite the wait for a table, which can be up to an hour on busy nights due to limited seating, the experience of savoring their traditional Vietnamese noodle soups and other dishes is well worth it.
I have always enjoyed coming here to dine either in the restaurant or take out. My 2 favorite dishes are #25 (curry) and 33 BBQ Pork with Crispy Springrolls and veggies. One of the best places to eat in the area in my opinion. 10/10! They do get busy at times and sometimes the wait to seat can be a 20 minute wait. But it's worth it.
Ryan — Google review
I’m 50/50 about this Vietnamese place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very attentive. Place is clean and many customers. I like the soup from pho but I really don’t like the chicken. Even the chicken from the platter tasted dry. Spring rolls are good tho. Crispy outside and flavorful inside. Small parking lot right next to it. Convenient for parking (free).
Ho S — Google review
Such an amazing place! The Service is so friendly, felt very appreciated and welcome as a costumer. The food was truly amazing, it’s a lot of Pho so be prepared to take some home! Also if they have Creme Brûlée, have it! Trust me! As an Euro who was looking for a replacement for her old Pho/Ramen Place back there, this is a place that hits home! :)
Timea K — Google review
Place was great, the service was super friendly and accommodating for all 4 of us. The place was packed but they didn’t make us wait long, I had the fried chicken and my group had Pho. Everything was so good, loved the egg rolls too. Absolutely loved it.
Engel P — Google review
Perfect as usual! Service was great, our food came out quick and was delicious. Spring roll app was piping hot and the mango salad was cool, sweet and had a spiciness that was just right. Pho was as to be expected: the best. Considering there’s several pho joints in the area, Pho Hong sets itself apart as the original Vietnamese joint in Burlington with their unique and inviting ambience and whatever special spices they use in their soup. Exceptional.
Allison B — Google review
Great food, great service. The mango salad was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend the fried rice with beef, and seafood special was good too.

Chicken Charlie's Rotisserie Grill & BBQ is a popular quick-serve restaurant in Burlington, Vermont, known for its delicious rotisserie chicken, BBQ ribs, and burgers. The warm and casual atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The menu offers a variety of options including brunch items like Veggie Omelet and Prime Rib Hash & Eggs served with generous portions at reasonable prices.
The food here was AMAZING. MASSIVE PORTION SIZES. I got a salad and it could have fed THREE PEOPLE. We got wraps as well, everything was very good. The wraps came out quick, the salad was slower, but overall loved the place. TONs of options.
Doug O — Google review
I couldn’t leave a review on doordash so I’m leaving it here. It is a great restaurant when dining in. Delivery is a whole other story. We waiting an hour and half to get our food, by the time it arrived it was lukewarm, the driver did not notify me upon arrival, the salad was prepared poorly (they didn’t cut up the chicken), and the packaging for the food was falling apart. Now, again, food in person is way better. but I don’t recommend getting take out, if you do, go get it in person.
ZhouLin J — Google review
Another middling Vermont food experience. In a land afraid of spice, this joint fits right in. This joint came highly recommended, and I am becoming increasingly worried about the sanity of VT when it comes to food. Order: Hot chicken sandwich platter with French fries, mac and cheese and a drink Cost: 20.00 The sandwich was fine. I thought it meant to be spicy, but was just shredded chicken on a bun. Gravy was on the side to pour over. Nothing unique or special. Mac and cheese was overcooked mushy noodles and watery cheese sauce. I do not understand, because making a hearty mac that repeats well is easy and should be the backbone of any BBQ place. Fries were pleasant and went well with the gravy. I obviously can't speak to the other items on the menu, but I won't be coming back to try them.
Matthew C — Google review
Chickens we had were very dry and tough, especially the rotisserie chicken. Tenders were rubbery and the salad with chicken was also dry. Overall it was a no for me. Despite the picture looking appetizing all the chickens were tough and dry.
Jessica T — Google review
Decided to come here because my child wanted chicken tenders and fries and we had never been here. Chicken tenders were good, juicy and wasn’t dry. The chicken wings were quite saucy and also juicy, but nothing extraordinary. I also ordered the 12 piece and got quite a bit more, which was nice. Next time will try the rotisserie chicken.
Christopher L — Google review
Always a great place for lunch. Prices are a bit high but portions are large and food is delicious. Everything is good. Salads, soups, sandwiches. I get the grilled tenders with Cajun BBQ sauce, so good. Montreal slaw is a vinegar based slaw, also excellent. Sit down, take out, delivery.
Andrew G — Google review
Chicken Charlie’s Rotisserie Grill & BBQ is a must-try! The meats were tender, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made the meal even better. Great portions at fair prices. Highly recommend for anyone craving hearty, flavorful barbecue and rotisserie dishes done right. We’ll definitely be back!
Michael L — Google review
TLDR: Great food, sharp staff, the dining room is 'smoky' due to the grill. If you have breathing sensitivities I'd advise takeout instead; it's absolutely worth it! I rolled up right after a spontaneous catering order and the staff were kind enough to let me know at outset that the food would take some extra time to be ready. It was absolutely worth the wait. I ordered a Classic chicken sandwich with steamed veggies and fries with gravy.

Zabby & Elf's Stone Soup is a warm and inviting cafeteria-style restaurant in downtown Burlington. The menu features creative, vegetable-focused Jewish cuisine with a rotating selection of dishes. The chefs prepare each meal with love and care, drawing inspiration from New York Jewish cooking and contemporary vegetarian fare. Guests can enjoy everything from fresh challah and macaroons to hot brisket and maple-glazed tofu.
What a great restaurant! Funky and friendly and comfortable, with a wide range of really great food and tons of vegan options. We had a fabulous lunch here. We chose from the buffet, which had several absolutely delicious vegan offerings as well as plenty for omnivores. The walls are covered with such interesting art. And the people here are so nice. Highly recommended

Nice ambianced restaurant located right on a busy street with lots of traffic. Some parking spaces along the street. Staff members very welcoming and friendly. Music was all 60’s music (which I felt right at home). Food was fresh, tasted awesome and price was fair. Highly recommended!

The sandwiches are flavorful and constructed with healthy ingredients. There a variety of baked goods too. The pricing is reasonable and the service friendly. A good place for informal dining and a healthy sandwich and soup.
Neehar A — Google review
First time visit, as a suggested place for lunch. The owner greeted us and sat with us as he explained the options. There's a menu board with a a few sandwiches and soups and a hot bar option. They sandwiches are mostly vegan besides turkey tuna. He suggested the hot bar so that's what we went with. It's not huge and is a pay by weight. The day we were there there was a vegan Mexican pie and and a vegan lasagna, as well as a Red lentil Dal and a tofu curry. There were chicken wings which was the only meat protein besides hard boiled eggs. The wings are always on the hot bar. You can also ask to get some curry tuna from the sandwich person. There were salad items too. They can slice any of their fresh breads too. Everything was delicious. I'd definitely go again and go with the hot bar. There's an option for them to make a hot bar plate for you for a flat fee. Each of our plates were about $20 when we weighed them up. Which I think was the flat fee. The self service style includes using real plates and silverware and you bus your own table. They had several tea options and coffee, as well as some canned and bottled beer. I don't recall the other beverage options. It was busy with people coming and going and some chilling out. The tables are considered communal since there's not a lot of them. There are a few outside tables too. Looked like they can do take out too. I'd recommend if you are up for some home style cooking and are vegan.

Delicious food! They offer a Hot bar & cold bar with the option for Z&E to create your meal for you based on your dietary choice (vegan, vegetarian, etc.) great Vegan options. Seating was a little too intimate for my liking so we sat outside but do not let that deter you! will definitely be back anytime we visit!

Love this place. My only complain is it’s pretty expensive at 15 dollars per pound at the buffet but the food is good and has a lot of diversity. Ask for bread because it’s free.

Sherpa Kitchen is a cozy eatery offering classic Nepalese and Himalayan cuisine. Located just a block-and-a-half away from the bustling Church Street Marketplace, this intimate 20-seat space is perfect for a quick lunch date. The menu features various types of momo (steamed dumplings) with sweet tomato sauce, as well as popular dishes like chicken tikka masala and hearty Sherpa stew.
Delicious food at a very affordable price! We first had a couple of lunch specials. It included one drink, one appetizer, and one main course item. Various options were available for the drinks, the appetizers, and the main course items. The owner was very humble and we enjoyed a nice conversation with him. The restaurant also had a nice ambience. We liked the food so much that we again went back on the same day to order takeout for dinner. This time we ordered chicken chowmein and chicken sherpa stew. Both were delicious!

Had a wonderful quiet dinner on a very, very busy graduation weekend. Made a reservation and was in and out in about an hour. The momo were exceptional and service wasn’t rushed. The prices were very reasonable. Four people with plenty of of food 75.00 excluding tip. Unheard of in Burlington. Thanks for a nice dinner celebrating my daughter’s Honors Graduation.
Steph — Google review
We had an absolutely delicious dinner here. They have many vegan options. The two we had were great (try the eggplant dish - it’s out of this world). Such interesting and scrumptious seasonings - we’re not that familiar with Nepalese food, and this was a great introduction. The waitperson was friendly and very helpful in identifying which menu items were free of animal products. The setting is casual and comfortable; and as I said, the food was so very good. This restaurant is well worth a visit; whether you’re a vegan or an omnivore, you will get a great meal! Highly recommended.

I’m a BHS student, and this is week 5 of my 🍴Student Eateries Series🍴 Today is a very stressful testing day, so I decided to treat myself with some Asian food. This is the only Asian restaurant opened near BHS, so I decided to go here. This restaurant by far might have the most positive and the most kind waiter EVER. He was very kind to me, constantly asking if I needed anything! Overall just a very kind server. The atmosphere was also good, chill music, a bathroom near by, overall very clean. I ordered some beef momos and a daal soup. The daal soup was warm and comforting, just what you could expect in a daal soup. The star of the show is definitely the beef momos. Very flavorful, and the mono sauce is AMAZING, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! Overall, this restaurant performed great in every aspect, but the service might be a 6 star. I definitely think this is the best Nepalese restaurant in Burlington! DOES THIS STORE ACCEPT DIGITAL PAYMENT? Partially. This store accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay, but may not accept PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, etc.

TLDR: Sherpa Kitchen is on the more pricey side but I was paying for quality. Sherpa Kitchen has incredible flavor, a fun atmosphere, and a down home vibe. It is worth a visit. Or 10. The results at Sherpa, from my experience, are always consistent. The momo was made to order and was soft with an elegant roll. They were generously filled and seasoned. Sometimes momo wrappers can get slimy or the wrapper is too thick but not so with these. The wrapper is just the right width and presents the perfect stage to the let the filling and the chutney shine. There is a great crunch with the pakora. The sour and savory notes play nicely. Combination Momo $14.99 Pakora $6.50 Soda: $2.00 Grand total: $23.49 $23.49 seems steep for one person but here’s why I’m convinced it is worth every penny: 1.) Sherpa Kitchen is one of the few places in Burlington with these dishes and flavors. Going is a unique experience, 2.) The food is great and there are many leftovers, 3.) Sometimes they run specials that make the food less expensive. They also sometimes have a buffet that can lower the cost. I also liked the welcoming vibe, as if I was walking into an Auntie’s kitchen. They were sweet and helpful but one of the elder ladies joked about why I needed 3 orders of dumplings. I thought it was funny. It’s one of those special places where you know the employees and the owner are genuine people who truly treat dining in as an experience to be had not just food to serve. The food alone is worth a visit. I was fine paying for quality and I enjoyed dining in. If you like a fun, laid back dining experience with quality food, and great flavor Sherpa Kitchen is a good choice.

Delicious flavors here. The momos are large and meaty. Lamb curry and samosa chaat and mango lassi were very tasty. Everything hit the spot.

This place claims to be an “authentic Nepalese restaurant”, but it’s nowhere close. The food tasted nothing like real Nepalese cuisine — bland, cold, and completely off in flavor. Having eaten at many authentic Nepalese restaurants before, I can confidently say this was a huge disappointment. The restaurant itself was quite unhygienic, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. There was only one server handling all the tables, and he looked very shabby and unprofessional. Service was extremely slow, and to make matters worse, they added an 18% gratuity charge without informing us beforehand. In Vermont, gratuity is not mandatory, so this felt completely unfair and misleading. Overall, a terrible experience — from food to service to cleanliness. Definitely not recommended if you’re looking for real Nepalese food or even basic hospitality.

Great authentic Nepalese restaurant. Good value for money. Service was very friendly. If you are in a rush this is not the place. Food was very good. The lunch special is a great deal. Lunch deal portions are adequate. One of us had the beef chow mein which was amazing and a big portion. The lentil soup and the mango drink were also really good. The restaurant atmosphere is ok, not a cozy place, a little bleak.

Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurant
Honey Road is a cozy tavern-style restaurant located on Church Street, offering a sophisticated Mediterranean dining experience. The ambiance is reminiscent of a chic Turkish cafe, with eclectic lamps and bright glass awnings creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu features creative small plates crafted by James Beard Award-nominated chef-owner Cara Chigazola Tobin, including harissa chicken wings and lamb-stuffed dolma.
Amazing restaurant. The appetizer of hummus and oil was so good it rolled my eyes back in my head. As did the harissa wings. We ended up having 5 or 6 small dishes and everything was outstanding. A few wine and drink options, plus a small selection of amazing VT beers. Reservations are recommended.

Fantastic food. Surprised that every dish was superb. I’m pretty picky and I have literally no complaints. Drinks were also quite good. Make sure you have a reservation or you won’t go in. Recommended!
PaulS — Google review
Gluten free haven- Fellow gluten free travelers, this is a place that serves "small plates" meant for sharing. I mentioned needing a gluten free menu and they brought back the menu with anything that had gluten crossed off. The seared Haloumi could have cross contamination (marked with a cross). There is a handy glossary off to the side that tells you what the Greek food is, very helpful for me as I didn't know what ANYTHING was! I took a picture of what we ordered. I got the Halibut for myself (my husband didn't want the pork chorizo in it) and it was a perfect size for one person, was kind of like a stew with potatoes and a 4 oz Halibut. Very good. My husband got the Grape leaf Dolma, Lamb (the green rolls in the picture.), Muhammara and Baba Ganoush dips that use veggies to dip (local Crudite, sold separately). Both were very tasty. We split the tahini sundae which was delicious.
Kathy S — Google review
We had visited Honey Road once before and thought the food was decent, so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We ordered the pide and the eggplant katayef, and both dishes left a lot to be desired. The pide, which came with minced lamb sausage and cheese that resembled a béchamel sauce, was overwhelmingly salty—so much so that my husband and I couldn’t even finish it. We also ordered two mocktails, but both lacked flavor. One of them tasted like basic fruit punch rather than a thoughtfully crafted drink. The only thing we truly enjoyed was the sesame ice cream, which was unique and delicious. Sadly, given the overall experience this time, we’re not sure we’d return.
Anwaar M — Google review
We got seats at the bar and the bar manager Abby was very helpful with all my allergies. They were able to accommodate me and the food was absolutely delicious. Tonight was my second time here in a year and once again they did not disappoint. I recommend it if you want to try different food and there are vegetarian options.
Debbie D — Google review
Our experience was a 5/5 here. It most definitely is a pricey place, but wow the food is incredibly unique and so fresh and delicious. We tried their eggplant burrata, kale salad (great big portion), chicken wings, and hot pepper labneh. We split between my husband and I and we were perfectly satisfied. The wine selection looked great, but I’m pregnant so would love to return and experience it all with a high quality wine. Would definitely return when back in Burlington. Service is nice, ambiance is nice. Highly recommend!

Our family of 8 visiting from NJ decided to go for dinner, and we were so glad we did. We started with cocktails and a trio of dips—hummus, baba ganoush, and tahini—served with fresh pita. All were delicious. Next came the wings, kale salad, scallops, and corn katayif with burrata. Every dish was full of flavor, and we even ordered extra pita to soak up all the wonderful sauces. It was a true sharing experience, and everyone at the table enjoyed tasting a bit of everything. Our server was attentive and friendly, making the evening even better. We’ll definitely be back

Moe's Southwest Grill is a vibrant counter-service restaurant that specializes in delicious Southwestern cuisine, offering a variety of favorites like burritos, tacos, and nachos. As it rises in popularity, Moe's has become a notable contender against established brands like Chipotle. Known for its fresh ingredients and generous portion sizes, this lively eatery provides quick service without compromising on flavor. The friendly staff work seamlessly together to ensure every visit is enjoyable.
The food is always great, portion size is great and the staff work together as a team. If you're hungry and want quick service and yummy food this is the place for you.
Chris L — Google review
This place has gone way downhill. The food quality, service, cleanliness (especially the bathroom) is pretty poor these days. The burrito was rolled so poorly everything was falling out. The rice is under cooked and hard, the chicken has pockets of un-seasoned and over-seadoned bites, the bathrooms smell and are just very gross. I can only imagine what the back of the kitchen looks like. Their fountain machine also has no ice and warm soda. Seems like they just aren't keeping this place up anymore. I used to come here a lot and it was much better. Probably stick away from this location or just go to Chipotle if you really need a burrito.
Andrew K — Google review
The food was old, dry and no flavor had 2 bites and didn’t eat the rest
Bernie A — Google review
Burrito was good and the location was fine. The managers here were stingy though, we asked for more chips and they told us we had to pay extra, they don't understand what unlimited chips and salsa means. Not only that, they tried to upcharge us for the white meat chicken. Otherwise, it was alright.
Jonah B — Google review
This place is so gross. I stopped eating here after my last burrito. I ate half of it and all the liquid seeped down to the bottom and it felt like a dirty diaper. Made me gag it was so gross. Definitely recommend Chipotle but if you MUST have moes, try the one on williston road in south burlington.
Brandon S — Google review
This place has definite gone downhill. Ordered vegetarian Home wrecker. Looked and tasted stale. Salsa bar is almost empty. Store is dirty, the soda machine has a pool of water in front of it. Never been to a more dirty place.
Farhad K — Google review
What a shame, walked in here and knew this place would be a disappointment. Dirty tables and trash everywhere!! I go to order and they were out of most items. Ordered a steak bowl and it was awful. The meat was not cut and it was not cooked. Felt sick after eating here, and will not be back
Mirnes S — Google review
I got sprite with a water cup (because the drink machine was out of water,) and the employee sprinted at me from behind the counter, grabbed my wrist, and slapped the cup out of my hand so hard that it exploded (literally it was in shreds,) and the sprite got all over the floor and surrounding customers. I then asked for tap water and the guy told me to drink from the bathroom sink. This sounds made up but I swear it happened these employees are crazy. The food was pretty good though.

Kismayo Kitchen is a charming Somali restaurant that offers a variety of affordable and hearty dishes. The establishment has garnered positive reviews for its delicious and filling food, with many patrons praising the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy eclectic Somali dishes such as the "Federation," a unique combination of rice, spaghetti, and choice of protein.

Delicious, large portions and very well-priced. The tea is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great experience, came all the way from Montreal and will come again InshaAllah!

The chicken looks deceiving as you think it will be super spicy due to the reddish color, but it is not. It's very flavorful. I can't give it a full review since by the time I got home it was not war anymore but still super good. The basmati rice it comes with is very good too. I would definitely come here and try another dish and maybe have a samosa or two! Great customer service!

If you want a healthy alternative for food this is the spot. The Somali Chicken & Rice is hands down a go too if you are looking to hit your Macros! It's super hard to find a Halal / Kosher place to get healthy food. This is a 1 of 1. There other options are also great.

We dined in for lunch. Service was great and the food was fantastic. The samosas were delicious - we had a vegan and beef. My beef over spaghetti was one of the best meals that I have had in some time. The Somali tea was also REALLY good, too..! HIGHLY recommended and thank you again!

Amazing food and courteous staff. This is my 2nd time going to this restaurant. And food is delicious as expected, I was in Burlington, I believe in 2021 and met the owner Umar, such a gem of a gentleman. I found out on this trip that he passed away. Beautiful soul and great chef. I had samosa and Philly cheese steak sandwich. Wife had coconut chicken stew with rice, all items are just spot on and delicious. Make sure to try their tea as well. Staff is very helpful in explaining dishes and go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Restaurant
Southeast Asian restaurant
Tiny Thai Restaurant, located at 24 Main Street in Winooski, is a cozy BYOB spot offering a delightful array of homestyle Thai dishes and street food. Despite its small space, the restaurant provides fast and efficient service even during busy times. Guests can savor refreshing Thai Tea and delectable appetizers such as crispy duck and pork dumplings before indulging in flavorful entrees like fried rice and drunken fried noodles.
Tiny Thai has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the county. I can't believe it took me so long to give this spot a try, but after my first dinner there, I was hooked—I even went back the following weekend because it was that incredible. The menu offers an amazing variety with well-labeled dishes, and nearly everything can be modified to accommodate dietary or allergy needs. Although it's BYOB, they provide ice water, which came in handy when I forgot to bring my own. The interior is charming, though it seems many customers opt for takeout. The food is prepared shortly after you order, and the appetizer menu is packed with classics, each paired with a variety of delectable sauces. The vegetables are fresh, the spices and sauces are out of this world, and the proteins are top-notch. For my vegan friends, they offer tofu and vegan duck, while their chicken, shrimp, and duck have all been incredibly impressive. So far, I've tried the ginger duck and the pad prik pao with duck—both were absolutely mind-blowing. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you get. I honestly can't say enough good things about Tiny Thai. You simply have to try it.

My first time there, it's Friday at 6pm and I get the last open table. At 7, there was a 45 min wait time! People love this place here. I sat next to a couple in their 50s who drove 2h to eat here! The atmosphere is great, people are friendly, happy, young clean couples and groups. The server is busy but very nice when he stops at our table. He recommends the spring rolls since we wanted something fast. The service was fast considering the place was packed. The vegetable pad Thai was sweet (maybe too much for me) and there was an after taste I didn't like (maybe an oil). My partner got a Chef's Vegetable Stir Fry. The portion was generous and there were a lot of vegetables.
RoBear — Google review
I wish the lighting was less white, service was good for how many people were there. Food was really spicy, at my limit, but that was on me.
Luna E — Google review
I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food in the US, but never like Tiny Thai. The items on the back page of the menu are worth the experience for something more unique. This time, I tried the Kwit Teo Pad Cha and loved every bite of chili, fresh peppercorn, and basil along with the seafood and wide noodles.
Rabi V — Google review
Rarely eat in, usually get takeout. Meals are packed very securely, I’ve never had any spillage on the way home. The Massaman curry with shrimp is my favorite, the taste is amazing. The Pad Thai is also delicious but heed the warnings and pepper ratings from 1 to 3 onthe menu. I have only tried up to a 2 pepper rating and that was plenty for me
John H — Google review
Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time! This place truly lives up to its reputation. The Tom Yum soup was perfectly spiced, with tender shrimp and plenty of fresh mint and coriander. The shrimp appetizer was full of flavor, and the mains were just as impressive. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
Shailesh — Google review
This is a must-go-to restaurant every time we visit the Burlington area. The food is always fresh and fantastic. This time we grabbed it as take out and I was impressed with how securely everything was packaged so no yummy sauce was allowed to escape in transit. Great menu choices for those who like the traditional spicy Thai and those who go for the milder dishes. There is not a lot of indoor seating so plan carefully if you are counting on dining in.

Oyster bar restaurant
Onion City Chicken & Oyster is a fantastic establishment that offers exceptional service and delectable cuisine. The oysters are fresh and the staff is highly knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations. Their fried chicken is perfectly crispy, accompanied by a delightful honey sauce. The biscuits are a must-try, while the German-style potato salad with mustard seed adds a pleasing tanginess to balance the meal's richness. Additionally, their cocktails are superb.
Loved this spit we found by chance. Started our afternoon with a round of fresh oysters and we’re not disappointed! Then moved on to the lobster roll (over flowing with tender succulent lobster with just the right amount of savory butter) , a chicken sandwich (piled to the ceiling with flash fried chicken breast spiced with just enough heat), collard greens and salads. We toasted our excellent food choices with craft cocktails. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect!

Great restaurant located downtown. Oysters and beignets are awesomely delicious!! Service was also great and the staff was friendly and informative about the restaurant menu and even town events currently happening. I will be back for oysters!! If your looking for a good local place, this is it...
Robert T — Google review
The chicken was to die for- Mine could have been breaded better and less crispy, but the juicy Misty Knoll made up for it. Baked beans were amazing. We got honey butter, ranch, and the gochu mayo. They were $2 each. You would think a $34 chicken meal would come with a dipping sauce or two. Nope. The honey butter was hot honey. Nothing butter about it. The dill in the ranch was overpowering. We had to ask for butter for our biscuits three times and ranch twice- our server seemed a little sidetracked. He suggested using the hot honey instead of butter when we asked for butter. The potato salad says it has leeks and dijonaise, but there are ALSO pickled red onions which completely overpower the other flavors. I asked if there were onions, the server said no, but when it came- there were, so I sent that back. My boyfriend loved the hot honey wings! We will be back for another try. The server Marcelle came back while we were packing up our food and was questioning me on which things I was taking home AFTER bringing us boxes, (Are you taking that? OK, what about the beans, ranch?) He asked about wach item on my place which felt very awkward. I already told him I needed one to go box to put everything in. Of course I was taking it all. I was just relaxing before packing up my food, and he made us feel very rushed. Which was funny after barely checking in with us.
Alexia V — Google review
One of the best places near Burlington I’ve found. We’ve been here four times already and find no reason to stop coming back. The oysters are fresh and delicious. Expect a slightly less expansive spread if you’re going during their 2$ 4-5pm oyster happy hour. Elsewhere you will pay more but sometimes get a wider variety. The drinks and service are top notch. The shellfish is delicious. The fried chicken is mind blowing in the rare event you’re still hungry after the oysters and (very good) sides. For those in the know, this is pretty much all the best parts of Misery Loves Company. Strongly recommended.
Derek R — Google review
Onion City Chicken and Oyster is a fantastic spot! I ordered the Rough Francis, and it was fried to crispy perfection. Unexpected highlight? The tartar sauce! It had a unique twist, tangy and flavorful, that took the meal to another level. Between the great food, great service, and being dog friendly, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back to try more!
Shaun S — Google review
We had their oysters and loved them. Then we had a full chicken. The skin on the fried chicken was very bland. It had no flavor or spices at all. The meat was at least moist. The biscuits were very dry and bland as well. Did not care for the baked beans or the potato salad. Went to this establishment due to such high reviews. I was very disappointed and the chicken is not cheap. I would personally not recommend this place to my friends.
Michelle C — Google review
I ordered fish n chips and clam chowder. The chowder was tasty, but nothing noteworthy. Highly disappointed in the fish n chips. The fish was measley pieces… super thin and merely tossed in flour before frying. Yuk. No color and not much taste. The tartar sauce saved the meal. I guess I should have read the menu closer as the “chips” are actually potato chips, not fries. Very disappointing overall. It was a chilly damp day and the door was open for the breeze to come in and I was sat under a fan. Not a comfortable dining experience.
Tammy C — Google review
Excellent experience all round. Pretty diverse menu although they do seem to focus on their namesakes. Chicken sando was excellent and the oysters were among the best I’ve had. Staff was top notch as well. Highly recommend, one of the best restaurants in Vermont that I have been to.

Nestled in the heart of Seattle, Starbucks has become a beloved coffeehouse chain known for its signature roasts and light bites, making it a go-to spot for caffeine lovers. Whether you're grabbing a grande coffee to kickstart your day or enjoying a mocha cookie crumble while sitting under an umbrella outside, this cozy café offers both comfort and convenience. Many patrons frequent their local Starbucks not just for the delicious drinks but also for the friendly staff who consistently deliver excellent service despite being understaffed at times.
The best drinks I ever had my favourite is mocha cookie crumble. Great staffs I give them 5 star 🌟

All of the employees were disinterested and rude. They were also impatient. The person in charge was very snappy. They need to work on how they serve their customers. I also work in service and I’m surprised they haven’t been reprimanded.
Rae F — Google review
Each and every time I come here it’s as though I’m severely inconveniencing the employees. Absolutely terrible service all around, no “thank you”, nothing but an eye roll, no sense of responsibility and clearly a complete lack of management, nothing but disdain for the customer, and they can’t even repeat your order back without asking 3 times what you said (in this case a double latte with whole milk and light foam) and she forgot the extra shot! like I was asking for the rubix cube of coffee drinks. Is it a generational thing? The inability to listen and retaining information longer than a few seconds?! And I was the only one in line!! I worked at Starbucks back in the early 2000’s and we were held to very high customer service standards which is clearly nonexistent, and we had to grind and adjust our own espresso from beans vs pressing a button on a machine, god forbid these children had to do the same! They’d crumble in an instant. Just wanted simple coffee, instead got a damp rags with of shitty “service” Avoid this tourist trap, they really don’t care if you come anyway, there’s a shell station at the corner for all your needs.
Gp Z — Google review
I just spent $7 on an almond milk latte and the barista making my drink was licking her fingers on multiple occasions when she got whipped cream on them. I was so disgusted I didn’t even know how to explain to them that that was beyond unsanitary. It’s common sense not something you should have to explain to a service worker. Not only did it she contaminate the whipped cream top but then licked her fingers again before putting the lid on my cup

I come here most mornings for my drinks before work since I work in the mall. All of the staff is so so kind. They always make the drinks perfectly. Yeah, sometimes they aren’t open when the web says they are, but that’s not their fault. They’re understaffed. You can tell they work so so hard though to give everyone what they need/want (even if they have rude customers)!! Love this Starbucks. Love the staff. I hope everyone that works there gets paid well. I doubt it because it IS Starbucks. But I always will give tips if I can afford it. Again, lovely people and I will forever be grateful for the few people that do work there❤️❤️

Just went (almost 8:30am) and hours say they open at 7am. Don’t go, it’s unreliable. Bummer when you only have a certain amount of time before work to get a coffee or if you’re on a break. Waste of time and I’m headed to work with no coffee today.
