Night Shift Brewing - Lovejoy Wharf is a popular brewery with locations in Everett and Boston. The brewery is known for its experimental approach to brewing, often requiring custom-built equipment for their creations. They offer a diverse portfolio of beers including lagers, IPAs, stouts, saisons, weisses, porters, limited releases and hard seltzers.
Loved this place. Cute spot for sunset by the water. Beer and pizza are great.

I would come here often if I lived in the area. My friends and I came here prior to going to a concert across the street at TD Garden. The music being played in the restaurant was adjacent to the artists we were about to see, which we all enjoyed. I got their gluten free loaded baked potato pizza and it was amazing. I have never encountered a gluten free crust that even compares to the crust they serve here. Probably the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. I shared with my non-gluten-free friends who also agreed that the pizza was very good. The truffle fries were great as well. This was a perfect spot to hit right before going to the garden and the prices were not as bad as I'd expect for being right on the water in the north end. We were served by Laura who was quick and friendly.
Matt K — Google review
I hosted a work event here on a Thursday night and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our group of 50–60 had half the patio and some inside booths reserved which was the perfect setup to give everyone a place to sit and chat while still being able to enjoy the nice evening air on the patio. The food (pizza, sliders, pretzel bites, etc.) was fresh and delicious and our dedicated servers were attentive and friendly. Huge thanks to Brittany, Brad, and Josh on the event team for making the planning and coordination so easy - communication was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this Night Shift for dinner with friends or hosting an event!

Great bar Some fantastic brews on tap Edwin was very attentive and friendly Good couple of hours spent with family mid evening Great work guys 🍻

We hosted a work event here before going to the Celtics game. Brittany and her team were fantastic! The staff was friendly and the service was great. Food was pretty good! The bread on the sliders were a little stale but the pizza, wings and fries were delicious! I would definitely organize another get together here (and plan to!).
Robin L — Google review
Good beers, good service, great pizza albeit they are basically personal size pies starting at $17.00. I would say they are approximately 12×8. Also the water they serve is basically room temp tap water with no ice. Weird
Jeff G — Google review
I worked with Night Shift Brewing – Lovejoy Wharf to host a young alum social for the school I work for, and it was the perfect location! The event staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. With so much happening this fall, it was a huge relief to have the Night Shift team take the lead in creating a wonderful ambiance—offering a hybrid indoor/outdoor space, a delicious menu, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our alums to reconnect. Huge shoutout to Brittany and Brad for making sure everything ran so smoothly!
Myriam P — Google review
Beer was amazing and service was amazing! We went about 35 min before they were closing at 3pm for a private event and they made sure we still got a drink and felt welcomed the entire time. Bartender spent time talking with my group and really connecting. Looking forward to coming back and trying to food soon!

Harpoon - Airport Brewery is an outpost of Boston's Harpoon Brewery, offering a cozy and relaxed setting for beer and pub fare. It's a favorite among locals, with seasonal events like Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's Day Festival. The taproom offers seasonal brews on draft, freshly-baked pizza, soft pretzels, and brewery tours. Additionally, the brewery opens up a seasonal Harpoon Keg Yard on Saturdays during summer and fall months with live entertainment.
This rating is based solely on VIBES. A+ for dropping a banger right in the middle of the terminals. Genius. Fight all those crappy delay downers with seafood, burgers and sandwiches while watching the game at the bar, booth or other seats available. Menu options look great. Get a classic lobster roll in “Bastan” before you head back to good ole’ Florida freedom 🤘🏼
Austin H — Google review
We sat down immediately with no waiting. There were plenty of open seats both at the bar and the tables. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Food was decent for airport food. It was a good stop for a pre-flight snack.
Catherine P — Google review
Didn’t have to wait and ordered the clam chowder and lobster roll. Both were very good and hit the spot before my flight home to Florida.
Michael J — Google review
We came for lunch before our flight, and was pleasantly surprised to see a Harpoon at the airport. I have been to the main location in the harbor area of Boston. The service was good and it wasn't too busy so everything came out fast. We had sandwiches, soup, pretzels, and Boston creme. Everything was good. Soup and sandwich was great, the pretzel was good, and theBoston cream was ok. The beers were great. The price was also very reasonable for an airport. Recommended.
Joseph S — Google review
Visited Harpoon after receiving rather gruff service from the Bruins Bar across the terminal. Luisa our waitress was more than happy to serve us with a smile and respect. The drink options are better, as there are actual options, and the food I cannot attest to but again, WAY more options. Overall, Harpoon has it down.
Abby R — Google review
Fun spot to have a few beers. When I visited the brewery the place was really crowded and it was hard to find a place to sit. I ended squeezing in at the bar and had a couple of flights and a quick meal. They had good beers on tap along with others from local breweries. I wasn’t impressed with their food, but it wasn’t bad for bar food. Overall I had a good time and it was a fun place to visit.
Roger E — Google review
I enjoy relaxing and indulging myself at airport bars before long flights, and Harpoon is a good choice for that. It's conveniently located at Terminal A, right across from Gate A20, Logan Airport. The venue can get quite crowded at times, but once you're seated, you can savor quick bites, cocktails, and beer at reasonable prices. The staff is also friendly. Don't hesitate to strike up a conversation and make a new friend with your fellow travelers.
Kenneth — Google review
This is a great place to grab a sit-down meal and drink before a flight. The food is of high quality, the servers attentive and the atmosphere hopping. We had a Harpoon lager, mushroom toast and salad with goat cheese, and a kids grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Everything was delicious. You won't be disappointed with this place.

Aeronaut Brewing Company, established in Somerville in 2014, offers a diverse range of craft beers from fruited sours to Double NEIPAs. With three locations, including a summer beer garden in Allston, it's a top spot for experiencing the spirit of Somerville through its liquid creations. The original location is family-friendly with live music, board games, and Venezuelan arepas from on-site restaurant Carolicious.
What a great spot! I’ve been multiple times with friends and it’s a great spot to hangout with plenty of space both inside and outside. Really great beer with tons of options for everyone. Different events all the time, themes for holidays. They really keep people coming back for more. Couple of awesome things: they have a water machine that’s super fancy, you can get flavored water with electrolytes and sparking water… also a really great Venezuelan restaurant inside serving up awesome food. More of a place to hang with friends/family as opposed to catching a game. Friendly staff as well. Also, just be cautious that they are pretty strict when it comes to IDs so have them ready regardless of if you’re drinking or not. Others may complain but it’s MA after all, most places are strict and make no exceptions.
Lucas P — Google review
The only thing better than the beer is the sense of community. Great local brewery. So much going on inside and out. Always adapting to changing times over the years. Beer is great, some unique styles but also some great Neipa Went for 10 year birthday bash. Live music. Free cakes. Good vibes.
Brian L — Google review
This vibrant brewery in Somerville is a hidden gem tucked away in a corner, featuring an impressive outdoor area that's likely a popular hangout during the summer months. The interior is spacious and stylish, with plenty of seating in the main room and additional areas to the left as you walk in. There are also a variety of food vendors on-site, making it a great spot to enjoy a drink and a bite with friends.
Hannah — Google review
Great place on the outskirts of Boston. Good selection of different beers, a fun atmosphere (inside and on the large patio) and Chinese, S American and a few other food options.
Adam P — Google review
This is a great place for beer. Prices aren't cheap but I guess that's just Cambridge MA thing. My favourite beer - Buzz Factory. I haven't tried the food here but I suppose it won't be bad. They have huge space which can be a great place for socialisation and for hanging out with friends.
Giorgi T — Google review
Beer is good, food is great, but trivia is really hit or miss. It’s been fun before, but it’s an open sign up to run trivia, and I don’t believe the brewery checks the questions beforehand. The whole night was outrageously hard, with questions so obscure, and image clues being false. Used to love it here, but such a shame
Emily R — Google review
I always love coming here after work to relax and have a beer and some food. Good vibes, lots of art on the walls. What more could you want?
Matthew G — Google review
I'm here now, with three adults and three children. I wouldn't recommend this place for children at all. We brought Lego sets for the kids to assemble and are watching them closely, but have had employees come over repeatedly to give us feedback on the kids. Once, I'd ventured beyond a sign I didn't see saying not to take drinks past it, with a drink and a toddler, and I completely understand they have a strict rule on staying in bounds. But, it wasn't necessary for a lady to come running out yelling 'There's a sign!' and continue on and on. It was clearly rude -- I get that it's an important issue, but it was a mistake. She went in, and another man began to chime in. It was just completely unnecessary to pile on-- I'd been apologetic and was coming back as fast as I could get my two year old to go. A few minutes later, my son was calmly sitting cross legged on the picnic table working on Legos, and a man came over to tell him to get down. Just now, the kids knocked their bench seat over as they stood up quickly. We were immediately standing it up, but this man is mean mugging us from the front and the bottom line is it's not remotely kid friendly. Bartender was nice! Wouldn't recommend for families.

Dorchester Brewing Company, established in 2016, is Boston's largest neighborhood craft brewery and the city's only state-of-the-art contract brewery. It offers a wide range of housemade beers on its 20 draft lines and provides facilities for outside craft brewers to produce their own beers. The brewery features a rooftop beer garden, a game room, and hosts various events in its taproom.
This place was great! Came here with family while visiting Boston. They are also dog friendly so we were able to sit outside on a beautiful day and enjoy our delicious beers and great BBQ. The food was excellent and so was the service. We got wings that were perfectly crispy. Pulled brisket, pulled pork loaded fries. Everything was so good. I really loved their honey mustard. Our puppy even got a free rib and a bandana. We had a great time. Can't wait to come back and have more brew and BBQ.
Ysmael B — Google review
A interesting endeavor in a refurbished industrial building. Almost a decade old with various distinctive areas. Good varied brews with some limited food options. Does flights. Had games for playing and houses the remnants of the Bad Art Museum. Has parking on the weekends.
Steven S — Google review
Had a great time at Dorchester Brewing. Lots of brews. I only had time to try 3. All were great. Had a sample of the Spa Day seltzer and left with a 4-pack. The BBQ chicken sandwich at M&M BBQ was fab, they share the same space. Arcade games, An old time cigarette machine with candy cigarettes was a hit. It was a dreary day, so didn't sit on the rooftop seating area, but heard great things and saw great pics from my sisters trip there. Definitely will be back to try their house cocktails.
Kim M — Google review
Place is awesome! I went on a Tuesday, so it was pretty chill - I don’t like really loud places. The beers were good and very high quality. And the bratwurst? OMG. Unreal. Lots of space, and I guess they do private events if you want to. Cool rooftop area, games, plenty of seating (especially upstairs) and some neat merchandise as well. Some cool artwork on the walls, nice big clean bathrooms, and cool music. I bought a pint glass for my cross-country collection. They’re gay friendly apparently because of the owner, but it’s not overly themed as such. I’d say everyone is welcome! If I’m in the area again, I’d very much like to revisit. Recommended!
Jesse — Google review
Brought my dog to the upper deck to enjoy the nice fall weather. Staff were super welcoming and friendly! The upstairs deck is a great spot with high tops, picnic tables. Only complaint is the price of a pint is quite high. Beer is tasty though.
Mac K — Google review
Love the atmosphere and the museum of bad art. Good drinks and customer service. The free stickers were also a nice addition as someone who is visiting Boston area.
Donna Y — Google review
Oh my god, was this place AMAZING!! As a queer person, this place made me feel so seen and heard. I personally love that there are nice places like this one that allow queer people to have a space to be themselves. The drinks were incredible, and the staff was somehow even better. I had to snag one of their shirts as well, just look at this art!! Speaking of art, their museum of bad art is hilarious and worth a trip to Dorchester Brewing Company even if you don't drink.
West S — Google review
We hosted our wedding welcome party in the hopservatory space, and it was amazing! We are locals to the brewery and really enjoyed showing off how cool this space is and how great the drinks and food are! We easily accommodated a large group, and had an easy time planning the catering with M&M BBQ. The beers, food, and fun cocktails were all a hit, as was the awesome space! The staff is always helpful, friendly, and fun, but they really went all out and made the night even more special! Highly recommend and will be looking for another excuse to host a party here in the future!

Cambridge Brewing Company, also known as CBC, is a pioneering figure in the Pub Brewery movement since its establishment in 1989. It offers a unique blend of American and experimental beer styles with a New England culinary flair. The brewery was the first to produce Belgian beer commercially and introduced innovations like barrel aging and micro flora for flavor enhancement.
Amazing local brewery in Cambridge conveniently located close to Kendall Square. The local is modern and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Great food is proposed with a large variety of homemade draft beers. Definitely a must go in the area!

If you're visiting the area there are lots of local breweries to find and it's worth putting this one on your list. Plenty of seating outside and in. The food options cover all bases, from appetisers to salads to burgers. It's a family friendly place too so if you're after more of an adult atmosphere then consider when you arrive.
Darren W — Google review
I tried 5 of their beers and not a big fan. And the food menu wasnt impressive. The waiter didnt give an approximate response when I asked how long the pizza take since we were in a hurry. Calamari had yellow bell peppers mixed into it which was strange. Spinach artichoke pizza was too heavy.
Zeynep O — Google review
Friendly staff and very welcoming. They have some great beers. I got the flight and New Zealand IPA was very interesting. I am glad I stopped by here to try the beers. They have outside seating as well for bigger parties.

A Standard Bearer I’ve been a patron for the better part of six years since moving to MA and working in Cambridge. A great haven to sample their brewing creativity, as well as satiate the appetite with an under-the-radar menu. CBC has sustained itself as a landing pad with unique brews, mouth-watering eats, and welcoming staff. First timers quickly become long timers. A Standard in Kendall Square.
Chris T — Google review
Stopped in for a break after visiting some colleges and thought it was an adorable brewery. The unique beers were awesome- I enjoyed the sweetheart at the rodeo. It was relatively quiet at around 4 pm on a Tuesday, but they had a nice patio space and plenty of seating. They allowed me to sample some before buying a pint which is always appreciated.

We were a group of 8 people and we went to Cambridge Brewing Company for Wednesday evening. We started with the Nachos and Shishito Peppers. The appetizers were amazing. We loved it. After that we ordered food as the kitchen was closing. For the dinner we ordered Brussel Sprouts, Eggplant Chips, Greek Chicken Salad, Chicken Wings, Fish and Chips, Chicken Burger, Caesar Salad, Black Bean Burger, Salmon Burger. After the food we decided to order drinks. The drinks that we order varied from IPA, Cambridge Amber. We got our order quickly and the service was also fast. We loved our food and the time at the Brewery. I will recommend everyone to try it.
Nishant N — Google review
This is place is really nice, is in a nice area and the host and waiters were nice. The only 2 not so great things were, we wanted to order beer flights and they didn’t have glasses available and the place was not that full of people, so that was disappointing nevertheless the beers we order were pretty good. The second thing was the food was not that great, a little bland you might say; we order eggplant fries and fish and chips and it was lacking flavor. The flourless chocolate cake was really good, so props to the dessert chef. We will be back, but for sure not to eat.

Democracy Brewing, located in downtown Boston's historic Downtown Crossing area, is a revolutionary craft beer spot that prides itself on being entirely worker-owned. Beyond its admirable business practices, the brewpub offers a cozy and historic vibe with vaulted rooms where patrons can enjoy flights of housemade beers and casual bites. The menu features decadent pub food such as stout-infused pulled pork sandwiches and mac and cheese packed with birria beef.
Food was fine. Not super good, simply fine. The pasta of the Mac and cheese was like a mass, really soft. The burger was okay, not the best meat. Great collection of beers.

Winner of my 'Best Beer Experience' in Boston. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasty food, and eell made beer in a brilliant setting. Even got tips on where else we could dine out. Well done.
Thomas H — Google review
Democracy Brewing has been on my brewery list for years, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The vibe is super cool and distinctly Boston—laid-back but full of character. I tried a flight of lagers along with a hazy IPA, and everything was solid. The IPA, in particular, was a standout—super citrusy in the best way possible. The biggest surprise? The teriyaki bowl. It was killer. Flavor-packed and totally unexpected from a brewery kitchen. Would love to see it served with rice next time, but still a win. Bonus: it’s just steps from Boston Common, so it’s an easy and worthy stop if you’re doing the Freedom Trail. Can’t wait to go back!
John A — Google review
We had an incredible time stopping by on Sunday afternoon August 31st. I’m including the date because I didn’t catch the name of our bartender but she was everything an establishment should want in a bartender. Gave great recommendations, attentive service and engaging conversation about the brewery as well as the area. All the staff we met were welcoming, they even stored our luggage as we were headed to the airport. Would definitely stop by again, especially to try the rabble rouser
Kenneth B — Google review
Arrived mid-afternoon before the after work rush, and there was plenty of seating. Loved that this brewery offered flights so you can try more than one of the wide variety of the beers they offer. They were all solid beers. You can't pick a bad one! We had just eaten, but wished we had waited as so many of their food items sounded delicious. The servers were very helpful in offering suggestions on other places to visit as we were from out of town. It's in a great location, very close to very popular attractions and the subway.

Came here before a show at the Boch Wang Ctr. It was my second time back. The rib eye steak was absolutely to die for!! And I loved the beers !! Our waitress at the bar was so super friendly. Will definitely be back!!!

Food is very expensive for what you get. Took 1 hour to come out. The Fish and Chips was almost inedible. Fell out of the thick batter, small portion of fries, such a small portion of tartar sauce for what you get. But they include a random huge coleslaw esque bowl? The beer is good. Maybe an off day but this was a horrible experiences

Stumbled across this place by chance on our way to a show at the Ortheum Theatre and ended up so glad we did! The atmosphere was great - busy and lively but easily able to talk over it. Our server was great, so friendly and made great recommendations. I highly recommend the shrimp skewers to start - you won’t regret them. Beer was great, we had one IPA and one light ale. Fish and chips were great too!

Lamplighter Brewing Co. - Broadway is a popular taproom in Cambridge, known for its craft beers and cozy atmosphere. Since 2016, it has been a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The brewery offers two venues in the city, each providing a wide selection of craft brews for patrons to savor. The original 10,000-square-foot Broadway location is great for large groups, while the Cambridge Crossing spot is renowned for its curated cheese and charcuterie boards.
A hippie hipster vibe in a good way. Wide selection of brews in varied styles that are interesting and brewed on the premises. Does flights but not food. However you can bring your own and they do occasional pop ups. Frequent events but no music due to “cabaret “ restrictions. Has been around since 2011 and has a large back room that is cozy and open when business warrants. A nice addition to the Cambridge brewpub scene.
Steven S — Google review
This weekend we stumbled upon Lamplighter Brewing Company in Cambridge. It has a welcoming and hipster vibe. Really enjoyed seeing the pride flag at the bar— felt like a safe space for all. The Cambridge location is busy around the time we went, which was around noon on a Saturday. There is lots of seating in the front but also in the back which is a little more quiet. The setup is a little confusing for ordering though. There's one big line for food and coffee, but you don’t need to wait in that line to order beers. I wish we knew that because we didn’t see any signage to indicate where to order what. We also saw a lot of people sitting at the bar eating and drinking coffee, so it took a little bit to find a spot at the bar just to have a drink. I think the bar should be reserved for those looking to have a beer. A positive though is that the beer tasty— light and refreshing. I thought some of the flavors were really creative. For example, I tried the Chrysalis which I believe had notes of jasmine and honey. Overall would definitely come here again and try their food and coffee next time!

Lamplighter Brewing was a must-visit on my recent trip to Boston—and it far exceeded expectations. The vibe is exactly what you want in a brewery: laid-back, stylish, and welcoming. The beers? Phenomenal. Well Spoke is a standout German Pilsner—light and crushable but packed with flavor, not watery at all. Solstice Summer Ale was another highlight—refreshing and easy to drink without being heavy. Bonus points for the attached Pepita café, which offers great food and coffee options. All this in a beautiful part of Cambridge, making it the perfect stop on a relaxed stroll through the neighborhood. Absolutely recommend. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Maybe my favorite coffee shop of all time (and I really love coffee shops). Their drip coffee is phenomenal and their espresso is delicious as well. Breakfast sandwich comes on English muffin with avocado and is 9/10. By night, it becomes a brewing company with excellent beer and excellent hazy IPAs. Given that I moved in around the corner, I have been going at least three times per week. LOVE IT.

Remnant Brewing, nestled in Somerville's vibrant Bow Market, is a delightful destination for craft beer enthusiasts. Renowned for its English-style ales and session brews, this taproom also shines when it comes to innovative collaborations with local eateries and breweries. Past creations have included unique offerings like mushroom beer and a zesty gose brewed with Persian limes alongside Sarma.
Super chill spot! The beer was awesome as expected, but the surprise was the great coffee they’re now serving. Bonus points for the Saturday morning yoga class! Great vibes, good drinks, and a pretty neat way to start the weekend 🧘

Remnant Brewing is a hidden gem in the heart of Somerville! Located at the super cool Bow Market, the vibe here is unbeatable—laid-back, welcoming, and perfect for a sunny day hang. I had their session ale and it totally hit the spot. Light, not too bitter, and super crushable—just a perfect pint for a hot day. The outdoor space, community energy, and great beer made this an instant favorite. Loved it here and definitely want to come back and spend more time. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or planning a day around Bow Market!

It’s the perfect mix of a brewery and coffee shop. They marry both things well. Nice chill vibe. Good beer. Good coffee. It is in the middle of bow market which is a vibe on its own. Fun place to be! They also had decaf coffee!

Set in a large courtyard area with other food businesses. Small selection of different beers, but the Hang Time and Green Eyed Rye IPAs were exceptional. Fun atmosphere (inside and on the large patio) and you can buy food from nearby vendors to eat on the patio.

This place is unique in that it is one of few spots in town where one can order espresso drinks in the evening and sit and hang out. (And this includes espresso martinis!!!) However, lately the espresso machine has been shut off at 7pm, so be sure to place your order well before then.

Castle Island Brewing, located in South Boston, draws inspiration from the area's unique identity. Although its first location is in Norwood, it pays homage to South Shore-style bar pizza with Bardos, its in-house food purveyor specializing in this regional specialty. The brewery offers a great spot to recharge near family attractions like Fort Point Channel and Southie's beaches. Additionally, Castle Island Brewing contributes to the growing community of Boston breweries alongside emerging ones like Roundhead Brewing Co.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception than Castle Island Brewery in South Boston! We live near by and knew it was the perfect place for our August wedding. The brewery’s spacious, airy atmosphere made it feel both relaxed and elevated for our big day. We utilized the indoor and outdoor space for our guests to enjoy. Kevin (event manager) was incredibly communicative and clearly had expertise in carrying out wedding visions. It was catered by the associated company "Off the Vine" and our guests raved about the food. We opted for reception style meals so had a mashed potato bar, pasta bar, carvery station and stationary appetizers. We loved the late night pizza addition and specialized dessert. My favorite part was that we did not have assigned seating but there was still plenty of space for our guests to enjoy their food. This encouraged more mingling, and eventually encouraged an incredible/lively dance floor. The staff at Castle Island Brewery went above and beyond, and are people our guests still talk about even 6 months later. They paid close attention to ensure we (bride and groom) were taken care off, as well as the older guests. I really cannot say enough about how kind, accommodating, caring and genuinely excited/supportive the entire staff was. If you’re looking for a city wedding venue that offers something a little different, with amazing beer and a fantastic team to back it up, we can’t recommend Castle Island Brewery enough!

We had an amazing time celebrating Abby’s Bat Mitzvah at Castle Island Brewing in South Boston! The venue was fantastic—spacious, modern, and full of great energy, making it the perfect place for such a fun and memorable celebration. A huge thank you to Marni for having us and trusting Hello Photo Booth Rental to be part of Abby’s special day. It was a joy to see everyone laughing, celebrating, and creating wonderful memories together. The staff at Castle Island Brewing were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire event. Everything ran so smoothly, and the warm atmosphere made the celebration even more special. Thank you again to Castle Island Brewing and Marni for having us. We were honored to be part of Abby’s Bat Mitzvah and look forward to celebrating with you again in the future!

Winter Hill Brewing Company is a trendy cafe and taproom located in Somerville, just a short walk from the Orange Line Assembly station. The taproom offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy delicious food like fried chicken and barbecue on weekends. In addition to their extensive lineup of IPAs, the brewery also serves small batch beers such as crisp kolsch.
My favorite neighborhood spot! Beer is great, there are usually 6-8 on tap plus additional options in cans. The new food menu is phenomenal, nutritious and bursting with fun fresh Mediterranean flavors. My personal favorites are the chicken wrap, the salads with falafel, and the breakfast burrito with chicken sausage. It's also a cafe, and the coffee is the best around, in my opinion. You can pick up some beans for the home too, they come from an excellent local roaster. Last but certainly not least, the staff here is absolutely wonderful! You'd be hard-pressed to a better bunch of people, always a pleasure. Thanks WHBC for being such a solid neighborhood staple!

We don’t even like beer but we’re here often! The brunch is next level. Pancakes are unique and always hit. Had the egg and cheese for the first time with a kimchi latke (!) and it was bomb. Always good coffee and great service with a smile. Trivia has been fun and the vibes are always good.

Super good place in Winter Hill! The food is phenomenal, like truly better than I expected. I got the reuben and it was absolutely delicious! Staff was super friendly. The place gets pretty busy, so maybe avoid peak times. Deducting one star because they don’t have any cider options 💔

We had the best experience with Winter Hill Brewing Company! After coming in several times for delicious food and drinks, we signed them to cater at our wedding welcome party. They were phenomenal throughout the whole process! Our guests raved about the drinks - beer, wine, and a special cocktail - and their service. Bert and Chris arrived early, were fun and energetic throughout the night, and were a genuine pleasure to have at our event. They crushed our specialty cocktail and our guests are still asking us about their IPA. Would absolutely recommend stopping in for a drink or working with them to cater your next event! The morning coffee is an absolute bonus too.
Sera B — Google review
Can’t speak about the beers because I only came here for brunch. Found it pretty mediocre. I got the breakfast bowl and found that the scrambled eggs were dry and the potatoes were overcooked. The sausage was fine. I may come back to try out the tap but was slightly disappointed considering that people in the reviews raved about the brunch. The menu options were pretty limited too, so I don’t know what else I would have ordered that I would have liked more.

Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in the state of Massachusetts, hands down. Also had a tasty London Fog, not pictured. Vibes here are super chill and the food is fast. I am intrigued by all of the beer offerings and game nights, etc. Will be coming back for sure!

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Roslindale, Distraction Brewing Co. burst onto Boston's craft beer scene in late 2019. Despite facing challenges early on, this charming brewery has quickly become a beloved summer destination for locals and visitors alike. With an impressive lineup of refreshing brews, including rich malty stouts and crisp pale ales, it’s the New England IPAs that truly steal the spotlight here.
Great beer with a wide selection of IPAs and sours! New owners are super friendly and seem to truly want the brewery to be a part of the community. Great outdoor seating and you can bring outside food. Definitely coming back!

I really wanted to like this place… First off I do want to say that the service from the bartender was top notch and she made me feel extremely welcome. The location is also nice although a bit small. The beer left me a bit confused and disappointed. I had the Pineapple IPA and the Vivid Flashback. Both were a bit flat and lacked what you’d expect from a place with such high ratings

When my uncle passed away, he left clear instructions that he did NOT want a traditional memorial service. He wanted his friends to get together and have beers. Joe and the other owners COULD NOT have been more accommodating. They helped every step of the way through this challenging time. They are incredible people, and I could not be happier with how the event turned out. I will be a lifelong supporter of Distraction, as will every single person who attended that evening. I can not thank them enough.

First visit, so we got two of their specialty flights, each containing four small pours of their local beer, chosen especially for summer time. One flight was IPA focused, and had a range of moderate hoppiness, along with one juicy, in-your-face over hopped wonders. The other flight featured a delicious raspberry sour beer, plus an addictive "brewtini" beer cocktail. Service was so friendly and welcoming, and I liked their outdoor beer garden. We brought lunch from a neighborhood restaurant.

Notch Brewery & Tap Room in Brighton is a casual brewhouse with a sprawling beer garden and food trucks offering pizza and samosas. The brewery is known for its session beers, providing an alternative to the prevalent high-alcohol content brews in the industry. Notch offers a variety of traditional European styles alongside popular options like Left of the Dial session IPA. Additionally, the brewery's downtown Salem location features a Skee-Ball machine and a scenic beer garden overlooking the South River.
friendly staff and great outdoor seating. they have bike racks in their parking lot past the entrance. learn from my mistake and don’t walk your bike into the courtyard!
Emily J — Google review
They had all Czech/German style beers with low ABV’s available in 1/2 or full liters, just a heads up if that’s not the style you look for. The beer was decent. The style of the place was cool with all the wood but also kind of plain. Might be better when the outdoor seating is available but it felt cramped inside. When my GF and I walked up to the bar the first bar staff glanced us over and walked away, the bar area was almost empty at that time and had to get the attention of another staff at the other end. We never really got that welcoming and social vibe you get at most other breweries.
Dan R — Google review
Very relaxing atmosphere. Great outdoor area, beer garden style. Beer: good selection of pilsner and other craft bees on tap, roughly 16. Food: you can bring outside food or buy pizza from the 'pizza project' that is next door. Good spot if you want to enjoy a nice beer after work. They close at 10pm but you can stay normally until 10:30 to 11pm.
Chris K — Google review
I stopped by Notch Brewing Brighton just for the beer, and I’m glad I did. I tried The Standard, Dunkel, Salem Lager, and a few others — each one showed off a different side of their lager game. The Standard was crisp and classic, the Dunkel had a nice malty depth without feeling heavy, and the Salem was super clean with a dry finish that I really liked. What stood out to me was the consistency. Every pour was clean, balanced, and precise — which isn’t easy with lagers. There’s no room to mask imperfections, and Notch nails it across the board. The space itself is laid-back with a casual crowd, perfect for focusing on the beer. As someone who works around flavors a lot, I really appreciate when simple things are done this well. I’ll definitely come back — next time I’ll take my time and go through the full lineup properly.

Great staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect summer spot for starters. Had some tacos and a beer with a bunch of actors...
Brian P — Google review
We love Notch, and are always greeted warmly and professionally. The atmosphere is great and the beer is better! I read some reviews that were negative, especially around their "family-friendly" policy. Kids are great, especially your own. When kids are left unattended, causing chaos, parents need to teach them how to behave in public establishments. We have 2 dogs who are "spirited" and because of this we wouldn't consider taking them to a pet friendly place. Common courtesy. Some of those complaining about the staff asking to rein in their kids are probably the same kids we roll our eyes about. Also, if an establishment has a policy of no kids after a certain time, respect that and stop complaining. Notch will always be my place for a good brew and connecting with friends.
Phil L — Google review
Absolutely awesome (though pricey) taproom/bierhall. Some of the best lagers in the country and good vibes plus board games, a tasty although limited food menu, and live music some nights. Not ideal to drive here but it’s a far walk from the closest T station and there’s actually ample parking if you get there early enough. Would be a regular if I lived nearby. Took a 4-pack of their Zwickel home and couldn’t be more impressed with this place. Just need to make it up to Salem now!

The Samuel Adams Brew House is a popular destination for beer enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. Located in a vibrant city, it offers an extensive selection of craft beers that are brewed on-site. The brew house provides a unique and immersive experience where guests can learn about the brewing process while enjoying delicious food pairings. With its inviting atmosphere and knowledgeable staff, it's the perfect place to unwind and savor some exceptional brews.
I had some time before my flight, and I had missed going to the Samuel Adams Brew House in town the day before, so I thought this was my chance. The woman working the bar was super friendly, and the service was excellent. She helped describe the beers, and helped me choose the best one for what I was after. So far so good. However, I also ordered the breakfast tacos. I don’t know how you screw up a breakfast taco, but they were not good. The bacon was pathetic. The eggs tasted like they were made from powered, not fresh, and the cheese was not really noticeable. The tater tots served with the tacos were excellent though. Once I finished the tots and one of the three tacos, I gave up and told the server I was finished. However, no one removed the plate and I had to look at the remnants of my sad tacos for the next 30 minutes while I tried to enjoy my beer. So this is an ok place to have a beer. I’d pass on the food.

The space in terminal B is completely fine but the prices are shocking. I needed to grab a quick breakfast before boarding and saw the breakfast sandwiches at Legal were $15. That seemed pricy to me so I walked to Sam Adams. Their menu didn't have prices, but I figured an egg, a slice of cheese, a biscuit, and a few tots couldn't be more than $15. I was shocked when each sandwich was over $21. Lesson learned to ask for the price before ordering, so learn from my mistakes. Also, my yolk was totally runny (I made a mess) and my husband's was completely hard, so not a lot of consistency.
Kate S — Google review
Food was okay. The nachos were good and the turkey club was good. The fries were good too. However, the crunchwrap was greasy and mediocre. Our waitress took 20 minutes to get our drinks and appetizer out to us. They took about another 30 to get a sandwich and fries to us and we heard them telling the kitchen to finally start the crunch wrap. When it came out, the order was wrong (we ordered fries instead of chips). We barely got served beyond that, and had to wave down waitstaff just to pay our bill. We never got refills, never got any real engagement. And the prices were absolutely atrocious, especially for what we got.
Ryan M — Google review
I made the mistake of getting the smash burger. The meat was gray and had the distinct aroma of having been frozen. There was no sauce on it as advertised. The bun and veggies though were of good quality. All things said if I had gotten the burger for $3 at a youth soccer snack stand I would have thought at least the money goes to a good organization. But for $26 it leaves me scratching my head that for that price we still can’t someone to even remotely try to make something tasty. The beer was good though, I got the Sam IPA. Service was very friendly and quick.
George B — Google review
“Charlie the Mouse” Dropped in for dinner. Service was slow, staff was indifferent — but at least Charlie the mouse was hustling! Yes, a real mouse casually wandered past our table. When we flagged it, the server shrugged and said, “It’s normal.” Apparently Charlie’s on payroll. Honestly, he moved faster than the waitstaff and seemed more invested in the dining experience.

Terrible service, overpriced and small portions. The restaurant has a mice problem and I have serious concerns about the food quality and safety. We raised this with the manager who refused to do anything and failed to even apologize. Avoid at all costs.

The chicken tender was decent, and the beer selection is solid. The coleslaw was awful. However, they were severely understaffed, with the staff rushing around to assist everyone. My order was delivered late and incorrectly. The food quality isn’t bad for airport standards, If you’re in a hurry, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Cool place to hang out and drink beer! ID is checked right at the door starting evening time. We sat at the bar, ground floor, but there’s another bar downstairs and a rooftop area upstairs. I like the ambiance here and they have an open window area so it’s half indoor/half outdoor vibe. They have a little gift shop as well! Lots of beer options—and they let you taste sample. The House Hazy IPA was okay but I liked the Haymarket IPA more. My husband enjoyed both the Key Lime and Acai Boysenberry Sour.

Fantastic experience! On a busy Saturday evening, we visited after a long day of sightseeing. My husband and I, along with our two young children, 2.5 and 11 months, popped in for a bite and beer. I was expecting to be brushed off or made feel like an inconvenience for bringing our kids to a tap room but we had the opposite experience. Staff member (manager?) Sam made us feel welcomed and truly delivered five star customer service. The beers were so good after a long day of touring (and toddler tantrums). We loved the Make my day IPA and the German Pilsner!! The food did not disappoint - we ordered the chicken tenders, loaded waffle fries (10/10 recommend) and the Buffalo chicken pizza. Would order everything again! All in all, will definitely recommend and visit again!
Jessica H — Google review
I was excited to check out a brewery location, but definitely left disappointed. The beer menu was basic and honestly all the beers were disappointing. Nothing special but should have guessed. The food was good and I’d wager that’s why the reviews are high, it’s definitely not because of the quality or flavor of their beer. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Overall just a huge let down as I was expecting a better experience than my group wanted.

Great place to stop in for a quick bite and drinks. Conveniently located on the freedom trail and a short walk from the ferry. The atmosphere is super relaxed but very clean and modern. Lord Hobo Boston is a lively spot with a modern atmosphere and outdoor terrace, offering an array of draft ales and classic pub food. Despite being located in Cambridge, it's often associated with Boston due to its vibrant nightlife and beer culture. The exterior resembles a biker bar from Miami Vice, but inside, it's a bustling craft beer haven attracting hipsters and tech enthusiasts.
We hosted a company event at Lord Hobo - Seaport where we bought out the venue and it was a huge success! The staff was wonderful - super attentive, quick and friendly. The food was delicious as well. From booking the venue, coordinating our menu to execution of the event, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend hosting your next event here!

Tried this spot after my folks and I arrived at Boston. Nice bar atmosphere and good host. We ordered the wings, which wasn't too bad. If you're the type that likes a lot of sauce, order these. I like mine not too saucy. Their chicken sandwich was ok as well. Again, this spot is good for a quick lunch or dinner bar food/American style restaurant.

Lord Hobo Seaport was the perfect venue for my fundraising event! The team was so helpful, clear, and patient. Reserving the space was simple filling out an online form then a few back-and-forth emails. Selecting food and drink packages was simple - and they have a great selection. The food is surprisingly delicious -- elevated from standard bar food! We were blessed with a sunny day so they had their garage doors open to the outdoor seating area. We rented out the entire space for a lower fee than I expected! Our guests were so pleased with Lord Hobo Seaport for the event, as was I! Thank you, Lord Hobo Seaport, for being the backdrop of our fundraiser! Tucked away in between Southie and Seaport, it was perfect. (Best parking options are garage and lot just a block down the road)

Smash burgers were not smash burgers. More like frozen Sysco patties warmed in a microwave! The flavor was gross! Steak salad ordered medium rare and the meat was cooked hard as a hockey puck! Ordered a margarita and they didn’t have any tequila! The flatbread pizza was alright so I’ll give it 1 star!

Just a short ten minute walk from the convention center, and you'll find yourself at the best place for upscale and redefined pub food. Stop going to the small boring places in this area and take your taste buds on a trip! This place was jamming with classic tunes and comfortable tables. The service was one person holding down the fort, but handled it with ease. Food was fast and delicious. Would return here again many times over!

Hosted a work event/dinner here and I cannot say enough good things. The team made it SO easy and they were super accommodating and Tia, our server, was fabulous! Everyone loved the food and the beer and while people had been initially concerned about the location, it really was easy to get to and in a very convenient location. Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable and fun place to get together.

I had a Hopnog. Very tasty and fresh. I ordered a few appetizers: Steak and Cheese Eggrolls and Scorpion Shrimp(spicy). The service was excellent and the food was pretty good and flavorful. Nice atmosphere by the water.

We had the pleasure of partnering with Lord Hobo Brewing Co. for a happy hour during our recent conference, and they truly delivered an outstanding experience for our attendees. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and a joy to work with. The beer selection was a hit — flavorful, well-crafted, and perfectly suited for a crowd looking to unwind and connect. Lord Hobo brought not only great brews but also great energy, helping to create a relaxed and engaging atmosphere that our guests are still talking about. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality made them an ideal partner. We’re grateful for their support and would highly recommend them to any organization looking to elevate their event with a top-tier experience.

Trillium - Fort Point is a popular hangout spot in the bustling Seaport District, offering fresh craft beer and delicious local cuisine. The three-floor establishment includes a ground level taproom serving classic Fort Point pale ale, a second floor dining space with high-end dishes, and an open-air rooftop deck providing ample space for families to relax while enjoying their drinks.
Trillium is a must go to brewery in Boston. They do have multiple locations and I have been to both Fort Point and Fenway. The beer is so good. Their IPA’ and Stouts are a must drink. I brought home some IPA’s because they were so good. The Fenway locations is a nice outdoor space. Fort Point is a nice space inside with a patio and food available. If you like craft beer, this is a must go to. I traveled from Minnesota and this was on my go to and I will be coming back for this beer. They also have cocktails, wines, seltzers, hard teas and lemonades and spirits. So if someone with you doesn’t like beer, not a problem. Go to this place, you will not be sorry!

Terrible buffalo chicken pizza ("bar pie"), $15. Chicken tasted as though it had been in the fridge for a couple of days. Crust was soggy. Cheese was cheddar (as advertised). No discernible blue cheese. Tablemate reports that smashburger (well done only) was good but small. Nice space, with outdoor as well as indoor seating and roof deck as well. Huge selection of own and bottled beers -- Pilsner was OK.
Stavros M — Google review
Cool spot in the Seaport with a great outdoor setup—loved the patios on both the ground and rooftop levels. Definitely a solid place to hang out on a nice day. That said, the beers didn’t quite meet expectations. Tried the Italian lager and it tasted pretty similar to a Peroni—fine, but nothing standout. Was hoping for a bit more given the hype. Not a bad experience overall, just not as memorable as I was expecting.

Absolutely Delicious Beer! Trillium is definitely one of the top 100 breweries in the world their beers are so tasty, even styles I do t typically love I tend to find their version to be quite good still. Staff is always friendly and service is fast and attentive. Overall if you love beer this is a must visit brewery!

Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. is a vibrant destination for beer enthusiasts and families alike, boasting an impressive 24,000 square feet of space in its Waltham taproom. Here, adults can indulge in a diverse selection of craft beers like the refreshing Mango Lassi Sour Ale or the popular Cloud Candy NEIPA. Meanwhile, younger visitors can enjoy activities such as ping pong or board games while savoring delicious snacks from the on-site bar.
While the food on site isn't the kind you'd get at a sit down restaurant by any means, they chose traditional choices to be well paired with a good beer, and have had food trucks outside the business on most occasions I've visited that looks absolutely delicious! The beer is outstanding, and if you arrive before 4 PM, you can order a very satisfying coffee from your choice of over a dozen styles!
Eben B — Google review
Great stop if you are in the area. Everyone is very friendly, beer is great, there's food trucks or some food options on site. They also serve coffee which is actually really good! I'm so glad we made the trip before hopping on a plane!
Jacqueline M — Google review
After having a pint of Cloud Candy at the Summer Shack I had to pay them a visit and see what else they had to offer. I was very disappointed that they don't offer flights, it's the only brewery I've ever been to that doesn't and I've been to many. It is very spacious in there but the atmosphere and decor was bland. I had the Magic Rain IPA which was very good and also the Fluff The Magic Dragon IPA that was great at first but had a spiciness at the end that did not match the description. I left after those two 7 once beers because I couldn't stay long and didn't want to have 7 onces of all the ones I wanted to try. But the Cloud Candy and Double Cloud Candy are phenomenal.
Diesse D — Google review
Went for drinks on a Sunday evening. It was not too crowded and they have a very nice patio. They offer a small taste before you can choose your beer, which is very helpful. Got three of them and they were all different and amazing. The spicy Paloma was like something I never had before. Food is mostly prepackaged but they have a foot truck right outside the patio for anyone still hungry.
Pragadish K — Google review
I don’t even drink beer, but the blood orange IPA knocked my socks off! I wish I could buy their product in Texas! Poutine was excellent, too!
Colt J — Google review
Although the on-site food may not resemble that of a sit-down restaurant, the selection of traditional options is thoughtfully curated to complement a good beer. Additionally, during most of my visits, food trucks have been present outside the establishment, offering an array of enticing dishes. The beer is exceptional, and if you arrive prior to 4 PM, you have the opportunity to order a highly satisfying coffee from a selection of more than a dozen styles!
Bianca S — Google review
Amazing place for a pint. Their patio is sunny, the beer is tasty, and the service was impeccable. Great place to bring a friend or meet some of the locals.
Jean N — Google review
Great beer and great place for social gatherings. So many beer options! They update their menu periodically and recently add non-alcoholic beer. They also have a coffee bar. I like that everyone in a group will be able to find something there. The Cloud Candy IPA is my go-to. The name sounds sweet but it is actually not too fruity. Their new IPA, Mountain Standard Time, is a great addition and my new fav! They have food trucks outside by the parking lot and the Mexican one is yummy. It’s there a few days a week. Great tacos and beef soup. I tried the burrito bowl and liked the tacos more. The brewery posts weekly food truck schedules so you get different food truck options depending the day of a week.

Nestled in Eastern Boston, Downeast Cider House is a renowned cider-making facility and warehouse that offers an impressive array of tasting flights, ciders, and merchandise. The brewery exudes the quintessential New England charm and provides a picturesque view from its patio and balcony. Visitors can savor highly drinkable, crisp ciders with a delightful finish at the beer shop.
I love the set up that makes you feel like a part of the process. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great flavors to choose from. Highly recommend just for the experience alone but if you’re a fan of ciders in general this is a great place to stop.

This beer is amazing. They have a flight tasting for $15 and I highly recommend it if you’ve never had their beer before. The peach mango was some of the best I’ve ever had, but all of them were really good. I actually ordered some to be shipped back home from their website. We haven’t tried their pop-up, which seems to be across the parking lot, but we may soon. It’s also a nice walk from the Hyatt Regency.
Ashlie K — Google review
I swear Downeast has the best cider. I’ve tried a lot of different cider brands (bold rock, porter house, buskey) and nothing beats it for me. Sweet but not too sweet or tart, smooth taste, and flavors are so spot on.
Samantha S — Google review
A Charming, No-Frills Pit Stop for Cider Lovers My partner, affectionately known as "The Queen," and I recently made a stop at the Downeast Cider House on a recent weekend. For any cider enthusiast looking for an authentic, behind-the-scenes experience, this place is a must-visit. The vibe is immediately industrial and unpretentious. You're not walking into a sleek bar; you're stepping directly into the heart of where the magic happens—the actual facility where they craft their famous cider. The space is compact and functional, with just 6-8 high-top tables nestled among the fermentation tanks and production equipment. It’s a unique and cool atmosphere that truly connects you to the product. The process is simple and efficient: taking the wooden token from the greeter's station, find a spot, and then take your token to the counter to order. The Queen opted for the flight, which is always the best way to sample a variety of their offerings. She thoroughly enjoyed her tasting, confirming that Downeast continues to deliver on their signature blend of crisp, unfiltered, and flavorful ciders. This isn't a place for a long, leisurely sit-down meal (the focus is squarely on the cider). It’s the perfect spot for a quick, satisfying, and genuinely interesting pit stop. In fact, it was an ideal pre-game before we headed over to the ICA Modern Museum, just a short distance away. In a nutshell: · Pros: Authentic production facility atmosphere, high-quality and delicious cider, efficient token system, unique experience. · Cons: Limited seating (could be busy on weekends), no food menu. · Perfect For: A quick drink, cider fans, a unique date stop, pre-museum fuel. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area and craving a truly authentic cider taste.

My fiance and I came to Downeast to enjoy the sunset. It was so awesome and they even had a DJ. Thank you to Ethan and Ellen for making our night so special. We heard they are having a Taylor Swift album listen through party and will definitely be back!!

The downeast cider house has a lot of fun flavors available, which some neat exclusive ones! While we were limited to one main flight each, Ellen gave excellent service and made the visit incredibly enjoyable! Especially on a holiday. Would stop by again for a quick treat!

Wanted to go here for years. Everytime I ce to Boston it was either too late to go or just a bad time for me to go. Finally made it!! Everything was Soo good. Inside was small but really cool. Everyone was really nice. I couldn't finishy flight cause I'm lightweight. But I would if I could.
Justin D — Google review
First, I'm surprised an operation as widely known as Downeast is running out of a place as small as this but, what an operation it is! The tasting room is set up in their production warehouse (where every can of their cider comes from) and seats ~40 people or so. It's definitely an industrial feel and due to the space only 1 tasting flight is allowed per person (with 4 samples per flight). The coolest part to me was the opportunity to try experimental flavors and provide feedback about them as well as flavors exclusive to the taproom. While I'm not normally a cider person they had non-cider "cider" options that were really delicious, especially the bomb pop and orange creamsicle flavors. And if you want more than just a flight there is a place across the street that has their beverages available in larger quantities/sizes. Definitely worth a stop in!

Stopped in for a couple beers and some snacks before a Red Sox game on 5/24. Beers were good, and we thought the boneless wings were tasty. The bar was packed, but we were able to sit down after a party left. We poked at the chicken, paid our bill, and prepared to head out when grabbing our last bites we actually cut the remaining wings in half and noticed that the middle was completely uncooked, pink, and still very raw. Outside was fine, coated with plenty of sauce, but the inside couldn't have been more undercooked. Since we were already checking out we didn't make a big deal out of it, but did notify the business afterwards as we were both concerned and completely grossed out. We received an acknowledgment email from Guest Services at the Bowlero Corp informing us that the Corporate Operations team would respond within 2 business days. Over two weeks and one follow up message later we still haven't heard anything. TLDR; beers were great, chicken was raw. Check your food if it's super busy, and don't expect a response from their customer service team. **Follow up to owner comments: I have contacted Guest Services, now three times, with the information you requested and there has only been an acknowledgement but no follow up or response. I have not been contacted "right away".

This place has a fun vibe. My only complaint is it closes early. We were at an event and they stopped serving at 10:30pm without announcing last call. They ran out of ginger beer and then limes. Plenty of booth spaces for conversation and 8 pool tables, with other arcade games.
Mitsi H — Google review
Let me start off with the food was great however the service was pretty bad as there was no hostess when we walked in. This caused us to wait 10 minutes to even be greeted at the door. We then had to go to a table that wasn’t even clean. Also we only saw our server the 3 times. This however wasn’t her fault because she was serving at least 10 tables both inside and outside. One person I was eating with didn’t even get a water glass. The pizza though was excellent and definitely recommend it.

Had a fabulous time trying something new in the area, they had a wonderful special that me and my friends love. Nothing beats getting a pitcher of margaritas and a pizza for $40. Cisco Brewery: Where the Porta-Potties Hold More Secrets Than the Crown Jewels Let me set the scene: The Queen and I descended upon Cisco Brewery in Boston’s Seaport like two sun-starved peasants who’d just discovered that beer and tasty drinks exists. The weather? Gorgeous. The sun? A relentless, fiery orb determined to turn us into human jerky. But did we care? No, because food, tasty cold drinks and beer. This place is basically an adult playground with food trucks slinging everything from fried seafood (delicious) to pizza (also delicious) to chicken fingers (classic, like the Queen’s taste in hats). We snagged a table off to the side, where the shade was as scarce as a polite comment on Twitter. But hey, sweating builds character—or at least that’s what I told myself as I melted into a puddle slight regret. Now, let’s talk about the real adventure: The Great Porta-Potty Speakeasy Scavenger Hunt. Cisco Brewery teased us with whispers of a hidden bar, accessible only through one of those plastic throne rooms we all know and… tolerate. After a quick pit stop (because hydration is key), we found the special porta-potty—marked with a biohazard sign, because nothing says "exclusive lounge" like the threat of chemical warfare. Swing open the door, shuffle past the toilet paper (hopefully unused), and voilà—you’re in a speakeasy the size of a broom closet with all the ambiance of a storage unit. Two tables, some walls, and the lingering question: "Did I just walk into a prank?" If you’re expecting a roaring ‘20s vibe with flapper girls and bathtub gin, you’ll be more disappointed than the Queen realizing her "limey, spicy" canned drink was a fancy adult Capri Sun. But here’s the thing—Cisco Brewery is still a blast. The food? Killer. The live music? Perfect for awkwardly swaying while holding a beer. The people-watching? Top-tier, especially when the guy next to you tries to drunkenly explain cryptocurrency to his golden retriever. Final Verdict: Come for the beer, stay for the food, and maybe—maybe—check out the porta-potty speakeasy if you enjoy the thrill of mild disappointment. Just don’t forget sunscreen, because the sun here has no mercy. 4/5 stars, would sweat again. 👑🍻

Great use of an empty lot in the seaport district. We came on a Friday late afternoon (bring ID they check all on entry and give a wristband). There were plenty of tables at this time, however we drove past later in the evening and it was packed out. Had a festival ground feel. Loads of seating with some undercover from umbrellas and a marquee. Main attraction of course is the craft beers from the state. My husband had a peach flour beer which he really enjoyed. I had a spiked ice tea from a can which was also really tasty, not too sweet just needed some lemon / lime for a garnish. Wide selection of beers, lovers of IPAs and pilsners will be very happy. They also have artisanal spirits. Available. Great way to spend a sunny afternoon. Clearly very popular venue.

Started my Boston trip at Cisco and truly couldn’t have chosen a better spot. Jimmy the bouncer, greeted us warmly and made sure my friends and I were set for a great time. He insisted we try a mudslide before leaving and he was absolutely right, it was a must. The atmosphere was inviting, the energy was great, and the drinks were even better. Highly recommend starting (or ending) your night here.

Family friendly? Could do it Atmosphere: open air life music Parking: city lot style Planning: ID and armband at entrance. Attended conference and happenstance stop along way dinner to this live music progressive open air location, container based bar offering of both distillery and brewery in one. Enjoyed their canned va draft seasonal and staple offerings. Activities included loitering with musicians and eating. Included merchandise shopping. Similar to Boxti Park in my home world of Orlando FL in Lake Nona. Definitely a great asset to area and in easy walking distance to multiple venues. May they prosper and b merry. Go here. Only critique, their bourbon needs some maturity and individualization. It's best for mix drink and not sipping.

Row 34 is a trendy restaurant known for its wide selection of oysters, fish dishes, and craft beers. The name comes from the signature variety grown at Island Creek Oyster Farm in Duxbury Bay. With multiple locations across New England, including Boston's Fort Point, Burlington, Portsmouth, N.H., and Kendall Square in Cambridge, Row 34 has become a seafood staple.
Outside patio is nice - though fully enclosed so can get dark on a really nice day where you truly want al fresco dining. In a city with few outdoor dining options – this is great. On the menu standouts were the warm butter lobster roll, seafood, pasta, crab and artichoke dip. They have a great selection of oysters, though I didn’t see anything from the West Coast all Northeast. The drinks were decent, however,, they don’t have a license to serve hard liquor only beer and wine. They do make cocktails with a version of liquor.
Michelle G — Google review
Came here for dinner Saturday night—good thing we had reservations because it was busy! Got seated in the back right side of the restaurant where it felt more dim lit than the other side by the kitchen. Was a bit too dark for my preference even with a small candle on the table. Food was delicious! For appetizers, Raw Oysters were good and the Shrimp Pimento & Bluefish Pate spreads were excellent. For entrees, enjoyed both the Warm Buttered Lobster Roll and Fish & Chips! Didn’t eat the potato chips, they looked super greasy. Cocktails were great—loved the Dirty Gin Martini and GrandTen Vodka Cordial Freezer Martini! Service was great as well. Overall, the restaurant has a good ambiance. One thing I would flag is that they have these black metal plates sticking out from the wooden pillars in the front area—if you are not careful you can injure yourself, I almost hit the plate on my way to the restroom.

This place blew our minds! We had to come back two nights in a row. We were lucky to find a table since we didn’t have a reservation. Everything we tried from the menu was amazing. The New England Clam Chowder, tuna crudo, calamari, oyster slider, warm lobster roll, and monk fish were all incredible. The desserts were just as delicious! This is a must-try place. Even though the lobster roll is on the higher end of the price range, it’s worth every penny. I wish they have a spot in New York since this would be my go to place.

My husband, brother-in-law, and I stopped into Row 34 for a quick dinner before heading to the airport, and it did not disappoint! I’d heard so many great things about this place and was excited to finally try it. We originally came for the lobster rolls, but since the market price was $50 that night, we decided to mix it up and ordered the salmon poke bowl, the ceviche, the salmon entrée, and of course, a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The chowder was creamy and rich without being heavy, and the seafood dishes tasted incredibly fresh. Service was just as impressive — multiple staff members checked in on us, and everything came out at the perfect pace. Overall, Row 34 absolutely lives up to the hype. Great food, friendly service, and a lively Seaport atmosphere — I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boston.

Right off rip, the Cornbread and Biscuit are out of this world. The atmosphere was good and the food was good as well. One thing I found a little outrageous is 52$ for a lobster roll is ridiculous, they literally put less than a quarter pound of lobster and it mainly claws. Our server was a nice guy but I wish he would’ve told me the price of the lobster roll beforehand.
Crackman J — Google review
We stopped in at Row 34 for cocktails and oysters. The experience overall was exquisite starting with the friendly staff. We ordered the Row 34 and Mookie Blue oysters and they were delicious and paired well with our Martinis. We added fries and they were firm and crispy and rounded out the whole experience perfectly! We had another round of cocktails and am certain all on the menu would be amazing. We went back the next day and the hostess remembered us and was so nice.

For the appetizer, we ordered the clam chowder, which was delicious and creamy. I also ordered Row 34 raw oyster which was something new for me. For the main course, we had the fish and chips and a burger. Unfortunately, both dishes had a noticeably bitter taste that we didn’t enjoy. Additionally, the waitress took the signed receipt before we left, which I felt was inappropriate.

The Publick House in Brookline is a lively beer hall and gastropub that has been setting high standards for beer bars since 2002. Inspired by Belgian beer traditions, it offers an extensive selection of both imported and American craft beers. The menu features refined pub fare including delicious mac and cheese, frites, steak tips, moules frites, and enticing daily specials.
The Publick House offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for hanging out with friends and family or watching a game. The mussels and steak and eggs are standout dishes, though some mussels may still contain sand. The friendly and attentive service enhances the dining experience.

Stayed at the Publik House on a Saturday evening in June 2025, on our way to the Cape for vacation. We were impressed with the historic setting, immediate nostalgia we felt while walking the grounds, the staff were exceptional, kind and pleasant... and the food ... well hands down it was the best meal we have had in a long time! Tender 1/2 chicken roasted slow, savory meatloaf, with the best lemon chiffon cake for dessert! And don't forget their sweet rolls with Pecans on top! Wonderful, wonderful stay, all around!

This place is AWESOME!!! The bartenders and GM are VERY knowledgeable in beers/cocktails. The bar food was most excellent. I cleaned my plate. Great place to have conversations and meet new bar friends!!!

Great selection of Belgian beers. And great food, too! Definitely recommend the Pretzels and Beer Cheese Flight for an appetizer. And the homemade beer Bratwurst was terrific.

June 2025 review: Public House has been DOGEd This wonderful staple restaurant has had someone cut costs to the point where the food that we typically get is just bad/ inedible. DOGE: they no longer offer 1/2 size mussels. The price is 30-40% higher than last year. The amount of mussels is cut in 1/2 at least. The "POT" is no longer a pot - it's a small bowl. The bowl to put the empty mussel shells is gone - DOGEd. We used to fight over the sauce - but it's been DOGEd - no fat, no butter, no flavor EXCEPT bitter rosemary. We didn't finish it. The wonderful slices of side bread are 1/4 as thick -DOGEd! The fries basket is now a little cup with tiny nubs of fries that you have to delicately pick out - DOGEd. The fish and chips was also DOGEd - 1/2 the size of fish and at least 30% more expensive. The breading recipe changed-less flavor/less goodness. The extra tartar sauce found itself as an extra $1.00 - DOGEd. Attached to this review is last year's mussel pot and this year's. DOGEd in full display. Service is still great - however Public House used to be full most of the time - it was 1/3 empty on a Friday night. We all sense the DOGEness. We won't come back - maybe next summer - Public House will have found its sanity again. 2 years ago Review: 5 star all around I love public house. Great burgers and awesome mussels in amazing broth. PLUS amazing selection of beers. I love how covid safe they are being- we ate outside under a heat lamp. Thank you for being an institution for this neighborhood.

Not sure what’s gone wrong, but used to be much better. I used to love the muscles; they’re a classic. Tonight, flavorless and awkwardly served on a tray with no bowl for shells. Fries were greasy and limp instead of crisp and flavorful. Wife ordered a veggie patty that she couldn’t cut through with a fork and knife. Won’t be going back any time soon.

The Trillium Garden is a beer garden located on The Greenway in Boston. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists to drink beers and enjoy the views of the city. There are over 80 different beers available, and the food trucks that frequent the garden often have creative dishes that will satisfy any appetite.
Loved there. Great beer. Friendly staff. Friendly crowd. Grab a delicious beer before heading home.
Richard C — Google review
Trillium is more than just a brewery—it’s where legends are made. We rolled in for some drinks, and my buddy Trevor ended up meeting his future wife. Sparks flew over a couple of double IPAs, and now they’re back home, engaged, and get this—they’re planning to name their future kid after one of the beers they had that night. That’s how hard Trillium hit. The vibe was electric. Great music, killer beer, and an energy that just kept building. Things got wild in the house after—laughs, stories, noise echoing off the walls till the early morning. Safe to say it was one of those nights that gets talked about for years. The beer? Top-tier. The staff? Super friendly. The atmosphere? Perfect mix of cool and chaotic. If you’re in Boston, don’t skip Trillium. You might just meet your soulmate—or at least name your next kid after a pale ale.

Really cool spot with great beer! 🍺 The location is awesome and the vibe is super chill and welcoming. They don’t serve food, but you can easily order something in or grab a bite nearby. Overall, a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink!
Yana Y — Google review
Trillium has amazing beer. I love that they have these pop up locations as it’s really awesome to sit outside and drink their delicious beer. They rotate their beers quite often so it’s worth a couple visits each month as there are probably new options randomly. Everyone in our group was easily able to find something they enjoyed drinking.

Nice to see Trillium still doing well. We got there a bit early after a trip to the aquarium, so I can't speak to how busy it gets. The beer was good...and yes it used to be better...but it's still a great little nook to enjoy a beverage.

Nestled in the vibrant Allston-Brighton neighborhood, Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen made its debut in fall 2019 as the area's first brewery. Beer aficionados were already familiar with this innovative establishment, thanks to over 400 pop-up events that showcased their fermentation-focused approach. Partnering with local breweries like Cambridge Brewing Co.
So I went here a couple months ago and the food was good, but last night the food was GREAT! They must have revamped their menu and kitchen recently but the nachos and burgers we got were 10/10! Seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. And of course, the beer was delicious. Highly recommend the sour if you like them. Sit out on the patio if you can!

Great German inspired beer and food. I enjoyed the sausage platter. Outdoor seating in warmer weather is really nice. Staff was very accommodating of our allergies.

Great service, food, and atmosphere. Exceeded my expectations. Was quiet on a weekday around 7pm, but by the time I left it had picked up. Nice to have indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff were very accommodating to my food preferences, with plant-based options marked and the ability to make dishes gluten-friendly too. Parking was easy to find on the side street, especially if you arrive after 6pm on a weekday.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, got seated quickly and service was friendly and prompt. Specialty things on their menu are their grilled cheeses & sausages. We ordered: - chicken and waffles: highly recommend, moist & tender chicken and a good size portion - breakfast sausage: juicy & flavorful sausage, and included an egg inside the bun! Also recommend. - Buffalo Brussel sprouts and cauliflower: spicy sauce and the pieces of cauliflower & Brussel sprouts were cooked well. - kimchi queso: average queso. Not sure what made them name it “kimchi”. Drinks: no hard liquor from what I saw on the menu, but they had a moderate beer selection. Service: 5 stars Ambiance: simple industrial metal and wood decor. No TVs but one projector. Also kid friendly!

Brato is a great addition to Brighton. Not every brewery can successfully juggle creating the right atmosphere, churning out good food, quality drinks, and friendly service. It sounds like it should be easy—but when you add food, breweries can venture into feeling too much like a restaurant. Brato walks that tightrope excellently with its crowd-pleasing bites. I’ve gone twice already and winning dishes include the grilled cheese sampler (my fave in that is the caramelized onion and gruyere) and the tomato soup. Save some of your soup for dipping your grilled cheese into! If they have the winter vegetable cheese fondue when you go (it was a special on my second visit) then you should absolutely share that with friends! The only food misses for me were the kimchi fritters (lacking in punchy kimchi flavor) and the lobster rangoon grilled cheese (majorly lacking in the actual amount of lobster). Regarding beers, I’ve seen offerings include IPAs, seasonal offerings (I.e. pumpkin), and a grisette. The grisette is super approachable for someone that is not into hoppy IPAs (aka me) and that’s been my go-to on both visits. My only gripe the last time I went during the week was that they only had 3 or so beers on tap. They must have had a busy weekend, but I normally look for at least a fewer more beers to choose from to round out the menu. They’re new though so hopefully they can figure this out in time. In any case, it’s definitely worth popping by if you’re in Brighton!
Rebecca M — Google review
Brato is INCREDIBLE. They have the most delicious twists on everyday bar food, as well as great beer. We got so much takeout from them during the pandemic and we finally got to visit the restaurant today, and it was just all delicious everything, wonderful service, and a great atmosphere. The grilled cheese flight, Brighton hot wings, brats, steak tips, lobster anything, and the nachos are my must-haves but they change the menu seasonally, so you can just go in and order whatever looks good and I’m sure it’d be delicious. Will definitely come back often for the patio!!

My order: -Buffalo Cauliflower -The Stout (Pig in a blanket?) -The Lager (Main street something?) The lager was really f-in good! Totally drinkable. Not too hoppy or too light. Just a solid beer (which is exactly what a lager should be). The stout was very tasty, too. I feel like usually stouts are too bitter or too sweet and this one was smack dab in the middle. I was really impressed with what I saw here. And finally the buffalo cauliflower! Very good sauce and ranch. Not too spicey and the cauliflower was either lightly dusted or not breaded at all. A great app!
Blake P — Google review
Been going to their pop ups and now I'm excited to finally be able to visit their physical location. The food is fantastic, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. I'm not usually a fan of West Coast IPAs but Foam on the Range is phenomenal. Blue Bin is an excellent Hazy IPA as well. This is going to become a regular spot for us to visit.

Located in Shipyard Park at the Navy Yard, The Anchor is a spacious open-air lounge offering cocktails, finger foods, and live performances. With lush grass lawns, swing chairs, cozy seating, and a variety of treats including lobster rolls, it's the perfect spot for community spirit and harbor views. This venue hosts weekly events such as salsa dancing and comedy shows free of charge right on the water during the summer. Additionally, it offers dance classes and parties in its beautiful open-air courtyard.
The Anchor near Charlestown Navy Yard is a fantastic spot! We were unsure about the fireworks view but were thrilled with the clear, stunning display from their waterfront location. No crowds, just a fun, family-friendly vibe. The lobster rolls were loaded with fresh, juicy lobster, and the clam chowder was hands-down the best we had all night—creamy and flavorful. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff making us feel right at home. Skip the traffic chaos and head to The Anchor for great food and a perfect fireworks experience. Highly recommend

Stopped in for the first Notre Dame game of the season! This bar hosts events for the Notre Dame Club of Boston. The atmosphere was perfect and we were treated to complimentary popcorn and a jumbo screen playing the game outside. It was a unique experience, and we wish we lived closer to attend all future games. The specialty drinks are extremely expensive - in my opinion, not worth it. I would stick with the various beers and seltzers they sell. While we didn’t get a chance to try their food menu, we saw their nachos, which had us drooling. We'll be sure to get them next time!

10/10 would recommend sweating with friends in public again. The drinks were cold, the outfits were hotter, and the only thing more consistent than the heat was our group’s inability to take a serious photo. Came for the socializing, stayed for the scenic steps and accidental group cardio. Bonus points for the patio seating and someone’s wildly floral shirt that doubled as event decor. Would I go again? Only if I can bring my emotional support White Claw and this chaotic crew. 💦☀️🍹

Very overrated. The place is not in such cool location to charge what they do. And that would be fine if they'd advertise their prices correctly. I made the mistake of not asking beforehand the cost of a canned beer. I should have. Because no one should pay $14 for a canned beer with no service. They won't even take your order to the table. And they have the audacity to ask for a tip. Everyone is free to run their business as they please and clients can freely decide whether to spend their money on them. But not showing their prices is deception and not fair for the consumer. I am not even sure they're complying with the. Massachusetts General Laws (Chapter 138, Section 15). Nevertheless, I will definitely never go back again. Follow up to the manager response: Prices were not clearly displayed in the menu in the screens. That's call deception. If you actually check my review history you will find it's actually pretty good. You'll find very VERY few poor reviews. And you'll find a huge array of reviews from all over the world. Table service is not really existing when you wait 20+ minutes and no one shows up to your table when you have an occupancy close to 50%. Staff is not what one would consider nice either. Management replies are really the "keyboard warrior" here. No apologies. No taking into account what a customer says. Just check other responses. Just entitlement and condescending tone. I am happy to edit my review to the lowest rating possible 🤭

I went twice on Monday evenings for dancing and enjoyed myself. Both times I got there late and missed the lessons, but got to dance with some wonderful ladies. Some changes I would suggest are: 1: Tell the DJ to not play merengue back to back and limit it to about 5% of the music. A couple weeks ago the DJ played way too much merengue, which exhausted many of the ladies, causing many of them to take more breaks than usual. 2: I know it would be a lot of work, but can we level the dancefloors please? If you want help with getting it done, just ask. I've managed projects like that before. 3: This Monday there were people standing on the dancefloor next to where I was dancing, and getting in the way. I asked them if they could "please give us some more space", and they scowled at me and acted like I was the asshole, saying "Excuse me? Where else are we supposed to stand?" when there was a lot of open blacktop that's not suitable for dancing but perfectly suitable for standing. At other dances, I've seen people get hurt pretty badly when they got too close to dancers who were doing fast spins. I would really appreciate it if you would post signs that say "The dancefloors are for dancing. If you're not dancing, please stay off them." because even without people standing and walking on them, the dancefloors get too crowded to do a lot of the dance moves I enjoy the most. 4: I would suggest increasing the size of the danceable area. One thing I've seen that worked surprisingly well was when a friend of mine created a portable dancefloor by laying down a roll of linoleum on blacktop to make a danceable surface. I noticed some low stage-like platforms that were almost always empty, but look like they might be perfect for dancing on. I suggested to a woman I was about to dance with that we dance on one of the platforms, but she said that she had been yelled at for getting on one. It would be nice if some of us more experienced dancers were allowed to dance on those platforms so that we can do more elaborate dance moves without having to worry about someone getting seriously injured because of a collision. Fortunately Havana Club opens before The Anchor closes, so I was able to go there and lead another skilled dancer in turn sequences that would be risky and virtually impossible on a crowded dancefloor at The Anchor. I'll be back with my fellow Salsaholics for more dancing, but I'll probably leave for Havana Club before 9pm.

Long Live Roxbury has been recognized as the top brewery in Boston, offering a variety of exceptional beers. Despite being located in an unconventional area, the brewery's dedicated parking lot provides convenience and safety for visitors. The spacious and aesthetically pleasing interior, along with friendly staff members, create a welcoming atmosphere. With a diverse selection of beers to choose from, including IPAs and sours that have garnered high praise, Long Live Roxbury is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts in Boston.
LongLive has been one of our favorite spots to relax (and take guests) since moving to Boston two years ago. This place has the friendliest staff, the best ambience, and always has a ton of community partner-sponsored activities (think sushi-making and trivia). In addition, their selection of mocktails and fizzy waters is excellent - so it’s great for drinkers and teetotalers alike. We love this place and are grateful for all it brings to our neighborhood.

My wife and I went to this place on a Sunday. Was unexpectedly quiet--I think that they had had an event finish earlier that day--but were instantly greeted by Brian. Loved the beer and was pleasantly surprised by the Venezuelan food. I especially appreciate that they have great vegetarian and vegan options, more than the basic veggie burger you typically find. We ordered a couple of arepas and a veggie bowl, which was all very flavorful. Also, there is plenty of space for parking. I wanted to like this place so bad. Great venue, some cool pinball machines and arcade boxes, awesome beer, unexpectedly great food. Until the band did a ONE HOUR sound test that blew our eardrums out. DO NOT go to this place if you're looking to have a conversation with people. Constantly interrupted by the hammering of a drum or strumming of a guitar. The STAFF WERE WEARING EAR PLUGS, if that isn't a sign of the state of the acoustics I don't know what is. Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery is a lively upscale brewpub chain that offers imaginative pub food and house beers. The atmosphere is vibrant, with excellent service and fast food delivery. While the turkey club and fries are recommended, the coleslaw falls short in flavor and creativity. Despite this, it's a great spot for a casual night out, especially after catching a show nearby.
An excellent value! Good beer, the black lager is my fav, good service, Kayla was great, some memorable food at reasonable prices. Seriously, if you're lucky enough to be there when the soup of the day is "Chicken Tortilla", DO NOT pass it up!! The southwest egg rolls are also memorable.

We ended up at Rock Bottom by default—it’s one of the only options in a part of Boston surprisingly short on restaurants. That said, it delivered far more than expected. The place had a busy sports bar vibe and looked a bit understaffed, but service was efficient and helpful, especially when it came to accommodating my mobility scooter. Not overly friendly, but they got the job done and didn’t make accessibility an issue. Drinks were great, fish tacos were fresh, fries and wings were excellent, and the steak was well cooked and full of flavour. We shared one dessert to finish and it was a nice touch. For Boston, the value was impressive—$126 for four mains, four drinks, and one dessert. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area again.

I have just been to this restaurant because a friend wanted to check why its reputation was so bad. My friend used to go here quite often and he loved the food and the drinks so he couldn’t understand why it has such few stars and so many bad reviews. So, we wanted to investigate. Honestly everything was pretty great, the atmosphere was very chill and the servers have been super nice. Santiago did a great job, he was super polite and refilled my drink without me asking him. The food is also great for the price. So, I really don’t get why so many bad reviews. The place is amazing. P.S. the food was so good that I couldn’t wait to take a picture of it. The smell grabbed my attention faster than my aesthetic sense.

We walked in and were promptly seated. The artwork on the walls and interior aesthetic was classy and contemporary. We sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us and served us with smile. The beer selection was impressive, with a nice mix of local brews and unique options you don’t find everywhere. We ordered a few small plates to share—everything was tasty, especially the sliders and truffle fries. Service was solid overall, though it did take a little while to get our drinks at first. That said, our server was friendly and checked in often once things picked up. The vibe is definitely more on the energetic side, so maybe not the best for a quiet dinner, but ideal if you’re looking for a fun evening. Would definitely come back!

Best place in Boston to try beers from local breweries! They have an amazing selection of IPAs, from classic West Coast styles to hazy New England favorites. Perfect spot for anyone who loves exploring the local craft beer scene!

Just had an excellent dinner here with B-Side (their supper club)! The tortellini was fantastic and I loved the bolognese. I enjoyed their cannolis as well, which had a hint of lemon but wasn’t over the top. It may have been a special menu, so the items we had might not be regularly offered, but I would definitely go back. The chef was super friendly and we all had a really great time!

I had such a great experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is really nice—cozy, clean, and well-designed. The food was delicious and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. Everything we tried was enjoyable, and the presentation was nice too. The team working there was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s the kind of restaurant you want to come back to, whether for a special night out or just a great meal.

Pizza restaurant
Restaurant
Brewer's Fork is a rustic and atmospheric hangout located in Charlestown, known for its wood-fired pizzas and craft beer selection. The restaurant takes a unique approach to pizza-making, using unconventional toppings and local ingredients to create gourmet pies that stand out from traditional styles. The dough is particularly impressive, with a perfect rise and optimal mouthfeel. Embracing a non-traditional approach to pizza, Brewer's Fork has become a local favorite since its opening in 2015.
Great place on all accounts. Awesome beer selection, and food was really dialed in. Perfect balance of flavors in the turkey sandwich in addition to very high quality ingredients. Smells great too with the wood fired pizza oven.

Liliana was the best server!! We had a great time here at Brewer’s Fork. We ordered the sausage pizza & beets. Albeit expensive, the beets were incredibly delicious with a perfect slightly tangy sauce and layered with pistachios mixed in! The beets themselves were very tender! The sausage pizza came out fast and it was relatively decent sized for the price (6 small pieces). The cheese tasted extremely fresh. I wish there was a bit more sausage on it and the bottom was a bit thicker since the dough was slightly collapsing with the weight of the sauce and cheese/other toppings. The crust though took the prize, it was crispy but also chewy on the inside and tasted slightly of sour dough! The interior is extremely pleasant with large wooden tables, a bar (not 100% full) and nice music! The service was fast and Liliana our server was so amicable and attentive! The only drawback to this place was there is very limited parking in the area and no handicap spots nearby if you are looking to park super close. We will definitely be coming back here for the personable service, fresh food, and wonderful overall atmosphere!

Culinary creativity and strong execution describe the food here. Every dish I tried was 10/10 (only exception was oysters bombs, toppings did not feel harmonious to the oyster flavor + too salty). The beets was a refreshing appetizer. Bright mint, ripe tomatoes and sweet beets contrasted nicely with nuts and a savory sauce. Mussels were tender and sauce were perfect with the croutons. Meatballs were fresh, retained their juices and had a nice blend of herbs and spices. Would definitely return to try other items on their large menu.

Had an early dinner here in a week night after climbing the Bunker Hill monument. Staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional. There was a large selection of wines and beers. I was really happy to see some great Belgian Trappist beers on offer, though these were obviously bottles and not on tap. Food was great, I had a killa bee pizza which was cooked to perfection. The cheese board had some tasty and interesting ingredients such as some pickled carrots and pepper jam. This was an amazing spot. We arrived somewhat early for dinner service and the Dodd arrived surprisingly fast as there were only a few other customers at the time. I would absolutely come back and recommend this spot. There are some high chairs available as well as a changing station for your little ones. There is also a large high top table which could accommodate a party of up to 14 guests and an outdoor seating area with umbrellas.

Brewer’s Fork has been on my list for a while, and I’m so glad I finally made it! The bar service was fast and friendly, the tap list was solid, and the Killa B pizza was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Our favorite pizza spot in Boston! We’ve been going to Brewer’s Fork for years and still make a point to stop by anytime we’re in the city. The wood-fired pizzas are amazing — the OG garlic pizza is our favorite, and their seasonal corn is great too. The meatballs are also amazing, and the burger and turkey sandwich are delicious. Super laid-back, family-friendly vibe with great outdoor seating and the best Aperol spritz in the city!

It was a crisp fall evening and we'd just moved into Charlestown marina. We stumbled upon Michael and Kerry's Dovetail bar and were so happy to find a warmly atmospheric place so close by. Then they told us they had a restaurant just on the other side of the Tobin Bridge, so we ambled over there (actually UNDER the bridge) and were again amazed - warm brick walls, subdued lighting, great selection of music and fabulous pizza! Will come back to do some serious beer tasting!

Bukowski Tavern, located on Dalton Street, is a beloved hangout spot with a vibrant atmosphere and an extensive beer selection. Despite its name and slightly greasy appearance, it's far from being a dive bar, especially with its wide array of craft beers on tap. The menu features classic comfort food staples, including tasty burgers. The relaxed ambiance and attentive service make it a welcoming place to enjoy your chosen drink alongside delicious meals.
Love this pub/tavern! Absolute gem with delicious food, a full bar, including beer tap and wine. The service was excellent! The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable and had a Boston charm. I enjoyed the chicken, Caesar wrap and wine. Next time I’ll definitely come for an ale. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, the perfect combination!

The name says it all. Exit one of Boston’s most expensive areas to shop and live and enter into a World Class level beer/dive bar! The Bartender was also the DJ and kept the place bumping, the food was super tasty and the customers very engaging and approachable! (Hey Johnny!) Ask about the hanging mugs with numbers and dead authors etched on them. If you’re in Boston for a few months, Bukowski’s has a challenge for you.
Ira K — Google review
I've been to this place 60 to 70 times in the 20+ years I've known it. Typically, I'd say I love it - good food, good drink and typically, good people. On 10/18/25, I entered with two friends in tow. We each had two beers and during our time within, we had no contact with any other patrons and limited contact with staff. Despite the above, towards the end of our second beer, we were approached by staff who absurdly asserted that we were ICE Agents and asked us to leave. No further explanation was provided for the fascist position being taken by staff. We left without further incident. Mr. Bukowski would rightfully be ashamed to have his name associated with an establishment that conducts itself in such manner. "What matters most is how well you walk through the fire" - Bukowski. I don't want to impeach this establishment for one incident. I'll likely return and hope for a beer experience next time. But, I will say, to quote Dylan, "the times they are a changing". One would expect that those that view themselves as progressive, and the staff here certainly tries to maintain such an ideal, would investigate a bit further before taking such a fascist stance. Hypocrites!!

Great little indy bar with a slight English pub vibe. Fantastic varied selection of local draught beer, bartender provided great recommendations. Food also excellent - loved the tater tots!

Charming bar with a great vibe and plenty of interesting brews. Bartenders were phenomenal. Don't recommend the mozzarella sticks (way too expensive for five bulk frozen ones) but am told the peanut butter burger is worth dying over.

Really fun spot. Popped in after a concert, just for a nightcap. Was really impressed with the food (simple but tasty) and solid beer selection! Our waitress was great (sorry, I forgot your name, but you were great!) Recommend the joint as a cool dive bar in the Fenway area!
Captain C — Google review
This is a unique place. It's a long, bowling alley of a bar with tons of seating. (Forget the metaphor: it really is right next to a bowling alley.) The food is creative takes on bar fare, such as tots and dips or veggie chili dogs on sourdough "buns." There is a turntable playing records the staff loves. (Blondie is on now.) Try the Wheel of Indecision for your drink order, but accept the consequences. And enjoy the poetry and art on the walls. (No Canada haters in here.) TVs are even non-monotheistic: Red Sox on one, Alladin on the other two. Five stahs.
John G — Google review
An eclectic bar with a decent selection of New England craft beer on draft and in cans/bottles. Solid service and a fun clientele that really bring the place together. A beer mecca and a must visit. The grilled cheese ain't half bad either.

Went on a Friday night at 5:30pm for my 1st visit, this place was DEAD, which is a shocker considering it’s after work gets out in a business district (Seaport) on a Friday. There’s multiple hotels around this venue, a concert venue that is a 10 minute walk away. There’s a TON of potential for this place but it was disheartening to want to try this place for years, and get there and it’s crickets. Free entry which is cool, a good handful of lawn games such as cornhole, chess, checkers, jenga, ping pong. There was a DJ sadly playing to employees only. What I didn’t get was after seeing so many pictures of people enjoying the swings, there were only 2 swings there. Big let down. The venue is operated by Rebel Restaurants, a local chain group who owns Temezcal Tequila Cantina, Jack’s Coal Fired Pizza & Tony C’s. Zero ad space referencing any of their companies. Management should consider a severe marketing campaign aimed at filling the place to portrait to prospective guests what the potential and value the venue offers. Go building to building in the Seaport, Downtown & offer free catered food to businesses for events and get them to tag the venue on social media. Every hotel in that area should have a pamphlet on the desk of every hotel room. Partner with area schools to do sponsored nights and fundraisers to target kids and families. No reason the place should have about 15 people at 5:30 on a Friday when the workday ends at 5. Don’t let the working people in Boston leave Boston at 5. Give them a reason to stay later and fill your venue. I was in the city for a country concert at Leader Bank Pavilion, a 10 minute walk away. Nobody else there appeared to be going to the concert. Maybe match your DJ’s music or have themed events before concert time designed around the clientele attending the concert. Food was mediocre, fast-service food items not exactly justified by the prices, good selection of beers. Overall, just middle of the road with a lot of potential.

Nestled in the historic district of Everett, Short Path Distillery is a captivating destination for those seeking unique craft spirits. This former factory has been transformed into a charming distillery that specializes in small-batch rum and gin, utilizing an innovative pot still technique that enhances flavor concentration. Visitors can enjoy a cozy candlelit tasting room or relax on the year-round patio with their furry friends while sampling creative cocktails made from locally-sourced ingredients.
This place was Amazing! We traveled from Pittsburgh for our kids. We arrived earlier than the Thursday night crowd. It was quiet and just our group, my husband went straight to the stills wanting to know more. All of his questions were answered. Kirsten was behind the bar and answered any and all questions about the drinks. If we didn't like something listed on the menu. She had a quick and delicious alternative. Also, the pizza we ordered was delicious. If we ever make it back to Boston Short Path will be on the list of places to stop! Great job!

Very cool small-batch distillery making a wide array of spirits. Their cocktail menu is delicious, with both classics and original recipes, and takes full advantage of all their house-made spirits. They even make their own bitters and tinctures for their cocktails.

We hosted our wedding welcome party here and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Thank to Alycia and the team, the booking process was so easy and the back space was perfect for our group. Guests loved the atmosphere and were excited by the variety of drinks on the menu—it felt fresh and fun. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and energetic—which really set the celebratory tone for the weekend. We’ll absolutely keep this in mind for future large gatherings and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, welcoming space to host an event.

We had a most enjoyable tour of Short Path distillery. Our host was very friendly and informative. What motivated me to take the tour was their ‘Winter’ gin, which I tried not long after arriving on Boston from Australia for the Boston Marathon. It was so clean and refreshing and just delicious on the rocks. My husband enjoyed it with some Fever Tree tonic. I was able to purchase a ‘seasonal’ sample pack to take home to Australia. Their London Dry style gin is also delicious! Can’t wait to try more! It’s 4.5 stars from me.

I hosted my husband's 40th birthday party in the BarrelRoom Bar and I can't say enough great things about the experience! From start to finish, the team was absolutely phenomenal. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating, making the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. The space itself is warm, stylish, and full of character. Multiple people came up to me to tell me how great their cocktails were. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail truly made the night unforgettable. If you're looking for a fantastic venue with a top-notch team behind it, this is it. Thank you, Alycia, Jeff, and the rest of the Short Path crew for making this celebration so memorable!

I had the pleasure of performing here, solo/acoustic, this afternoon, and this place is awesome! The staff was welcoming, and they actually seemed happy to be there. I was playing out on their patio setup, which is quite nice, and surprisingly spacious. Their selection of booze was tremendous, and very tempting. I don't drink when I have to sing, but I was definitely into their many options of cocktails and whiskeys that I saw. I can definitely see myself hanging out here when I have a night off, and I'll be more than happy to perform here again, anytime. Go check this spot out, for sure!

Small distillery with a ton of variety! I’ve been here quite a few times and each time has been no less than great. I tend to order a Gin & Tonic (changing up from summer, to London Dry, to their flagship), but I gave the myrtle a try recently, and, wow! Although I have nothing to base it on, I was very impressed. The employees are always kind and looking to be as helpful as possible. Absolutely love this spot and I look forward to seeing them stick around and expand. Overall: Excellent spot to get together with some colleagues and have a good time; drinks that’ll make the party that much better. Edit: two years from my first review, and its still great. This place truly exceeded my expectations. Every time we go to a brewery, I usually feel like the food menu is limited or just an afterthought but Mighty Squirrel Fenway completely changed that for me. The food was delicious, way better than I expected from a brewery. Everything was beautifully presented, well-portioned, fairly priced, and there were plenty of options to choose from. They really care about both flavor and quality, which makes the whole experience even better. Of course, the beer was great too, good variety. We especially enjoyed the IPAs and Lager. The vibe is relaxed, and it’s the perfect spot to hang out before a game or just enjoy a laid-back afternoon. My friends and I Shared some of these dishes.

The best brewery premise I've ever seen. Very spacious. Tons of quality & private seating. Great effort into the vibes, live music is always much appreciated. Very large space, most people get takeout so it’s a nice place if you want a quiet area to work! Tried their seasonal spring drink, Honey Lavender Latte. Definitely got the honey flavor, not so much the lavender though and they do make their lattes very milky as a warning. Overall, still a solid drink, would come back just for the really nice and quiet area to do work!

A huge location with a lots of beers on tap as well as food. I think the first part to remark on, is just how massive this place is, 2 stories, lots of seating. This would be a great place for a big group hangout. They have an assortment of board games as well as a shuffleboard table. There are multiple bars so you're not beholden to one location. The kitchen is on the first floor, you order online and pick up at the counter. The food is quite good - the pretzels were delicious and the salad was huge. I personally did not enjoy the beer offerings too much, they don't do flights, but they do small pours. I think it is a solid location if you like Mighty Squirrel beers .

Chattermark Distillers is a must-visit spot in the city for those looking to experience authentic craft whiskey and gin. "Grain-to-bottle" is a fairly new concept for Boston's distilling scene, and if you want to taste authentically MA craft whiskey, this is the place to come. Whiskey fans will feel most welcome here, but don't underestimate their Gin and "White Rye" offerings. They also have a cocktail menu that strives to provide something for everyone. Vasili was our bartender, and showed us a wonderful time. He is personable, knowledgeable, and entertaining, and a great steward of the brand. One pro tip: if you're taking a rideshare to or from here, be sure to note that they are located "under the bridge."

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Russell House Tavern! We sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere—it was lively but still cozy. Our waiter was incredibly nice, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the calamari and the Mushroom & Leek pizza, and both were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Cambridge. Stopped by this restaurant in Harvard Square on a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was lively with a great vibe, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Despite it being busy and us not having a reservation, we were seated right away with no wait. Service was friendly and quick throughout our visit. The food was delicious — especially the calamari, burger, and pizza. The steak was just average, but overall this place is a solid option if you’re in Harvard Square and looking for good food in a fun setting.

Russell House Tavern is perfectly situated right in the middle of Harvard Square. The vibe here is great, with a nice two-story layout that feels welcoming and lively. My friend and I sat at the bar and found it to be the perfect spot for a casual meal and drinks. We were greeted nicely and seated right away. Service was very fast—our menus and drinks came almost immediately. The food menu might be small, but it's well-curated and perfect. We ordered a burger and a pizza; both were cooked nicely, delicious, and had great flavors. We even managed to snag a table by the window, which was lovely for people-watching the busy city go by. I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Cambridge and want to stop for a quality bite.

Solid bar fare right in Harvard Square. Service is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy bar (seemed to have a downstairs area also that wasn’t open). We started with was basically poutine (fries, curds, and gravy). They called Harvard Fries or something. They were scrumptious and bar-salty. We also the grilled cheese, hit chicken sandwich, and a leek and onion pizza. All were prepared solidly. The pizza crust was a bit more hard-crispy than other types of thin crusts I’ve had. The grilled cheese was rich, savory, and definitely heavy on umami. The chicken sandwich was good as well, though the side salad it came with was a bit aggressive on the vinegar. All-in-all, it was a nice meal in a very convenient location.

We had the salmon, a cocktail, and pasta at Russell House Tavern. The salmon was flavorful and the cocktail spot on, though the pasta turned out a bit mushy. Our server was incredibly kind and took it off the bill without hesitation. It was a beautiful night overall—great service, good food, and a warm atmosphere.

From the second I walked up, the hostess was extremely sweet. I sat at the bar and had some of the best service that I have had so far on my Boston/Cambridge trip. The bartender gave me some samples of beers on tap and made great recommendations. And, coming from a southerner, I had an incredible fried green tomato BLT. Such a great stop for my trip and will return if I’m back in the area!

5/5 for the mussels, 4.5/5 for the lobster tail (very fresh) and 4.5/5 for the calamari. We were here at 4pm and this is the seafood before the dinner menu comes out. Always satisfied with all the options!

Best croque monsieur I’ve had in awhile if not in all-time. The sweet and spicy bacon was so succulent, made me want more.

Nestled in the heart of Boston, the Boston Public Market is a vibrant year-round indoor marketplace that showcases the best of local and New England food. With around 40 diverse vendors, visitors can explore an array of offerings from fresh seasonal produce and fish to gourmet treats like artisanal cheeses and locally crafted chocolates. This bustling market is not just about food; it also features unique gift items such as beautifully crafted serving trays made from local granite and salad bowls carved from fallen trees.
What a cute and fun space with great vibes! There are stores to browse offering everything from gifts to plants and more. Interesting food options as well including local ice cream and a bagel shop. Seating isn't plentiful, but I did manage to snag a table. Most of the seating is in an area by the bagel shop. Highly recommend checking it out.

Boston Public Market is a fantastic indoor space filled with local vendors, fresh food, and a great mix of grab-and-go meals, specialty items, and handmade goods. It’s clean, well-organized, and a perfect spot to explore whether you’re a Boston local or just visiting. We love walking through to grab a coffee, a snack, or a fresh meal—there’s always something new to try. You’ll find everything from artisan cheeses and baked goods to farm-fresh produce, flowers, seafood, and unique gifts. It’s a great place to support small, local businesses all under one roof. Tip: It’s right next to Haymarket, so you can stop in after grabbing produce outside, and if you’re looking for a spot to relax, there’s seating inside and public restrooms available. Great in any season, especially on a rainy or cold day!

Boston Public Market was a fun little stop. It’s definitely on the smaller side — we were through it quicker than expected — but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in personality. I grabbed a bagel and a latte and just sat for a bit, taking in the music (they were playing cumbia the whole time — unexpected, but honestly kind of perfect). The vendors were friendly, and there’s a good mix of local treats, snacks, and handmade goods. If you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out — just don’t expect a massive market. It’s more like a cozy, curated indoor food hall. Bonus points for the vibe

We had heard about this on a TV show, and we’re so happy we stopped by. There are many different food options here and we enjoyed walking around and trying a few different food items!

Stopped by Boston Public Market for lunch. There were several vendors indoors but I wasn’t able to check out each one unfortunately. Highly recommend Red Apple Farm, their cider donuts are a must. The hard cider was delicious as well! I also tried the rice & beans with chicken tacos from Mr. Tamole. Overall good experience. Definitely recommend making this one of your stops if you’re visiting Boston!

When I travel around the country and around the world I have always stopped in to the local public market or food hall or farmers market . The Boston Public Market is amongst the top ones I have seen in the USA . A combination of local small businesses retail , a mix of various food oriented shopping and of course a great selection of restaurant stalls with their unique flavors . Lively crowd , happy people and good vibes !

A real neat marketplace full of food and gift stalls. There is even a face painting stall for kids. We came on a Saturday and there was a good size farmers market right outside. Lots of fresh vegetables and seafood were on sale here. A good experience.

This place was solid. The indoor market had a large variety of items from cinnamon sugar donuts, cookies, candles, crafts, other food, and much more. The outdoor market was there on the weekend. It was very good. The fresh fruit and vegetables were excellent. We tried the sugar donuts, blackberries and raspberries. All of them were fresh and very affordable. Don't ask about the combination. A great place to come check out the vendors and other items around the market.

Five Horses Tavern is a great place to go with friends to grab some drinks and dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, but the bartenders are knowledgeable about their cocktails and wines. There's a patio that's perfect for people-watching in Davis Square.
Nice beer tap selection. They have been flights. Clean restrooms. Tasty food. Street parking if you can find any. They also do take out. Friendly staff. Very yummy fries.

Liredi was great and a good sport about recommending things. The host was working his last day and not friendly. He was more concerned with taking calls outside then getting the door for old ladies. The food is OK. I ordered the fish and chips. The cod was good, but the potato wedges were like a fourth of a potato and meh. The worst part of the meal was actually the strawberry shortcake to go. Looks like the kitchen staff started preparing it, then realized it was to go scrape the toppings off and to toss it in a container. They gave me about a tablespoon worth of Strawberries and a bowl of whipped cream out of the can. I very much enjoyed my drink. This is a good place to go if you wanna drink and chitchat with the weight staff, but I’d eat dinner before you go. And expect to get the door by yourself. LOL

I was suprised find this tavern packed on a (random) Tuesday night and to be able to get a table, rather quickly, despite not having a reservation; Thanks to Krystal the hostess at the time. The food was delicious for both me and my husband and we were served by both Lucy and Emma, which were both so nice and thoughtful. Ps. If you are on a diet, like me, try their secret salad.

Great Bar! The staff are lovely. If your in this part of Boston check it out. Me and my folks went through many rounds of beers and some cocktails coming to only $70! And there’s many beers to pick from! Got talking to a couple from Arkansas who were lovely. It’s the type of bar that will lift your spirits.

Very nice neighborhood bar and restaurant with plenty of food options and even better craft beer options. I had the power bowl and that was really good. But getting Maine and Hill Farmstead beer from the tap is special. Also great barkeeper and very friendly service.

Grabbing a semi-late night dinner and my friends wanted a classical American vibe so we went here. Patatas Braves Roasted potatoes, chili seasoning, lime, cotija, chipotle aioli My friends told me this is not quite right because when it is done right it should be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I tasted, and I do agree it is not quite there. Fish N Chips I ordered this and it was revolutionary for me. The fish is sooo good as it is super thinly battered and fried. The internal was flaky and light (I believe it is cod). Great to pair with wedge potato fries and tartare sauce. Sweet Chili Chicken wings Not the best wings but it was good with honey coating. They paired with ranch sauce which I found it to be quite awkward. Chicken Sammy Sandwich with fried chicken, honey, lemon tarragon mayo, lettuce, paired with cheddar jalapeño potato mash. Cannot speak on behave of my friend but I tried the mash, and it was really smooth and cheesy. The melted cheese situation is divine. Honestly without drinking you shouldn’t come here. Beers and draft probably will do this place greater justice. Not so warm service but ample to get things done.

10 Stars!!! Mimi was our server and David was our beer guy. Mimi was quick and efficient. David was super knowledgeable about all the different beers in the area, on their tap, and what we would like according to our tastes. Food was excellent! I had their fish and chips. Fish was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside, moist and tender white flesh fish in the center. My wife also loved her Powerbowl salad and my son enjoyed his asian wings. Between the service and the food, I would tell all my friends in Boston to check out this place.

We came here for dinner and enjoyed our food. There is a good variety of options on the menu but nothing inspiring or very unique. That being said the food is good and if you’re with a group everyone will likely be able to find something they like. I actually prefer this restaurant for breakfast/brunch. The donuts are a delicious way the start, and the mimosa flight obviously. Overall we enjoyed our experience and our waiter was very attentive and polite.

Lulu's Allston is a charming eatery with midcentury-modern decor that has been drawing crowds since its opening in 2014. Known for its comfort food with a unique twist, this hotspot offers a menu filled with high-calorie, high-carb, and highly delicious dishes. The White Trash Hash and Smores Pancakes are among the most popular items on their menu, attracting brunch lovers from all over during weekend brunches.
Great food, great service/staff, and great music - no complains. Definitely a very nice spot for weekend brunch as it's very affordable and tasty. They have different deals throughout the week, ex: $10 burgers on Monday's, $3 tacos & trivia on Tuesday's, etc.

Came here for lunch and enjoyed it. Chicken and waffle- very good. Waffles were fluffy and crunchy on outside. Great caramelized sugar flavor to it. Chicken was nice and crispy and tender on inside. The portion was generous as well. Friendly bartender as well. Great beer list as well. Very solid local spot

Overall pretty good. Interior is cozy and comfy. Belgian waffles were crispy and not too sweet. The pulled pork was just ok. Not nearly enough sauce. Meat was tender though. My omelette was pretty good. I do wish they put some meat in it but still decent overall. Chicken & waffles was overall very good. Lots of chicken. Our server was amazing. I think he was solo for the 4th of July. Kudos to him.

Some friends told me that was a hot spot for brunch, and he wasn't wrong. Food for the price we paid it was outstanding. Our server friendly, I understand we didn't getuch attention, the place was full. We'll be back soon!

I’ve been to Lulu’s twice and the service was slow and inattentive both times. The first time, it was weekend brunch and they were slammed, so I attributed it to that. However, the second time, the restaurant was only 1/3 full. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees: our drinks came out within 5 minutes which was great. However, we waited around 45 minutes for the entrees to come out. We never got our appetizers because our waiter failed to put the order in. We asked about the appetizers and they offered to put them in, but by that time it was too late. Management did try to address the problem by bringing us a free dessert, which is appreciated. However, during both visits the waiters did not refill our waters without us asking. The food tries to be trendy and looks good, but is mostly mediocre in my opinion. I do appreciate the reasonable prices.

The food here was really good, served freshly cooked, really quick, and for being in the city of Boston, relatively cheap. The restaurant itself is very clean and nice, with extremely friendly staff who don't ignore you one bit. Gives you that city feel, perfect place to grab beers with friends to catch up. Just good luck finding parking if you aren't walking there.

SoWa Open Market is an outdoor "farmers market" that has many different local vendors, with a wide variety of goods such as art prints, food, jewelry, and more. The market is only open on Sundays for a few hours of the day, which means the places tend to get crowded. We went a little later in the day and it was still bustling with people, but not overly crowded. We got a few items as well as food from Fuful Bakery and The Fat Cactus. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were good, with the price being a bit steep but overall worth the price. The vendors had a large assortment of goods that look nice and were worth the price, and some vendors were nice to give free items and try things out. Definitely worth a visit once or twice.
Nick S — Google review
Difficult for parking. The market has a mediocre selection of goods and there is only one restroom on the second floor of the building. Gave three stars to the artist studios in the building, they are really excellent.

Great place to look for unique gifts or something for yourself. I took my two teen daughters here and they enjoy looking around. Believe it’s only open on Sunday, so check hours for heading over. Revere Hotel Boston Common is a stylish and unique boutique hotel that pays homage to Boston's history and local culture. The rooms are adorned with minuteman-themed artwork, balconies, and even a presidential suite featuring a library stocked by Brookline Booksmith. The hotel's restaurant, Rebels Guild, features a giant stylized eye room divider and a cannon, adding to its rebellious ambiance.
My family and I were in town for a wedding and stayed here for two nights. We had a great stay. The rooms were comfortable and chic. The front desk staff was super friendly. The gym was small but clean. The location of the hotel was phenomenal, so close to the park. We didn’t get a chance to use the rooftop bar as we were out late at the wedding but it looks like it would have been fun.

Stopped by for a drink with a college friend last night. It was our first time at the hotel. The first thing that we noticed was how nice the lobby is and how good it smelled. We were greeted by Brian. He was so friendly and made great recommendations for drinks . I mentioned we were starving and he recommended the restaurant on site and offered us a drink voucher. The food and espresso martini were delicious . When we came back down, he checked in with us to make sure we were happy and satisfied with everything. We will definitely be back. He even offered to take our photo at the lobby bar. Thanks Brian for your great service!!!

We stayed in Boston for 5 days visiting from the UK. Excellent location if you want to stay quote central to everywhere. We were greeted by Glenn Mace who's the front desk supervisor when we arrived. He was very welcoming and attentive plus gave us a lovely room on the top floor which had great views of the city. Anything we wanted or needed he was always to hand and was super helpful when it came to the area and places to visit. The hotel boasts a rooftop with a bar and a nice indoor lounge/restaurant with a bar too. Great service all round from Housekeeping all the way to management. We will definitely return to this hotel in Boston if we were to revisit the city. 10/10.

We stayed at the Revere for 2 nights on Halloween weekend. I've stayed before, and recall much nicer service. Check in was friendly, no problems. I had requested a room with a bathtub. I was told the room we were given had one. Our first room had a balcony that was open (love that) though there were largely rips in the curtain. It did not have a bathtub, but no sooner did I notice than they called us, apologized, and switched rooms without having to ask. The front desk manager met us at the elevator so we didn't have to go back down. The new room had a deep bathtub, no torn curtains, but no access to the balcony (bummer, but not a deal breaker). We had an overall uneventful and pleasant stay. I would have given higher reviews for service, but when I called to have some glasses brought up to the room, they never came, and I had to go to the front desk to ask, and they referred me to their restaurant a floor above where I had to wait for someone to notice me at the bar. Aside from that, the bathtub had a hard time holding water and drained while using it. The location is amazing, right in the theater district and very close to Chinatown (walking distance). The bed was also very comfortable (just slightly on the firm side, but still a bit plush). While I wouldn't NOT stay here, I don't think it met my expectations of a $400/night room.

The hotel is in the heart of Boston, within walking distance of a lot of amazing restaurants! The rooms are nice, although they all have the same revolutionary theme/pictures within. Every room does have a small balcony space which was nice! Check in seemed a bit confusing for our group of six. They don't have any complimentary breakfast, and coffee service doesn't start until 7am, which is tough for an early riser like myself. They do have a restaurant on the premise which made tasty food, and they do offer room service starting at 7:30am.
Shadedk4 — Google review
Went for our babymoon/anniversary/birthday! The location was perfect for being within a max 30 minute walking distance from everything we wanted to do. Area felt safe. Lobby was nicely decorated to the hotel theme and the rooftop bar was cool looking! Room was definitely tired and old feeling. Ceiling had some pretty bad water stains, worn paint and carpet. Aged/slightly smelly AC unit. Tile/shower looked like it could use some tlc (the grout was very old looking). Flickering light in bathroom, etc. HOWEVER, despite the room feeling very dated, the room felt clean, housekeeping did a good job (and I'm picky about cleanliness) Wanted to highlight some staff too, Abdul who checked us in was very nice and made made a great effort to give us good recommendations for food around us. His customer service was spot on! Glenn so kindly took pictures for my husband and I, and was very personable and we enjoyed chatting with him! Thomas was also very professional on the phone when I called ahead to confirm our hotel. Overall a very good stay, my only complaint is the very aged room and the lack of a concierge for a 4 star hotel. Loved the unique theme, the location, the personable staff, and the public spaces.

Barely a Ritz and barely 5 star. Despite being completely renovated in the last few years, this hotel feels dated And less than five star status. The front of the house is just not trained up, unlike other Ritz hotels e.g., NYC,Atlanta. Certainly not comparable to the two four seasons hotels nearby. Small, easy fixes. For example, the lobby bar appears to have all the right elements, but not the right execution. Too bright, service not professional. Just too bright, very Marriott. Guest rooms appear to be in good condition, but not particularly updated. Also, the presence of mini bars, but not stocked, seems bush league. A lot of easy fixes here for $1000 a night hotel.

Last month, my wife and I stayed at the Ritz for our anniversary weekend. We were given a perfect room overlooking the Boston Public Garden on the club level floor. We have stayed here one other time and it was a lot of fun. The staff is very nice and the location is unmatched. We have stayed at many Ritz properties and the offerings they extend for kids are a big plus. Upon checkout, Alberto was able to find a kid’a backpack and stuffed animal for our two year old son. We appreciated this and our son loved it when we came back home. Overall, this is a great property for a weekend getaway that’s proximal to the nicest parts of Boston.

Beautiful hotel. Well maintained. They took very good care of me. Shoes shined and returned in less than 30 minutes. Room service was fast and delicious. All the things you’ve come to expect from the Ritz. The upgraded suite was pretty big for Boston standards. The one complaint was the Equinox that’s attached to the hotel is trash. Too small. Not well kept. Only ended up going there once my whole stay because it was so underwhelming. But I’m not letting that detract from the fantastic hotel.
Mike T — Google review
This was an unfortunate experience for me. The hotel basically stole my bottle of wine from my room. Not sure if it was house keeping or the security team, but they confirmed they found the correct bottle of wine in my room. Then e-mailed me saying they did not anymore. Basically I brought a bottle from my cousin's vineyard and they stole it. Complete BS. The room does not have blackout curtains, they are some cheap terrible curtains that let light through. The restaurant in the hotel is trash. I found the team dishonest. The only person who actually helped me with a dinner reservation was Alex from the front desk, she was nice. The rest of the experience was a 1 star, only because I cant give zero here... but this is not my only review.
Shawn G — Google review
The staff and amenities are second to none! I always stay here when I visit Boston. They make me feel very welcomed and like I am part of their family. Everyone at the Ritz-Carlton is very nice and very accommodating.
Tony S — Google review
I would give it 3.5 stars. I have stayed at this hotel 4-5x over my lifetime. It’s nice. But it’s lost its fastball over the years. But I think that’s true of the entire Ritz brand. What used to be the “premier” brand in America has really lost its footing from what Herve envisioned when he built this brand. What is “uniquely yours”, isn’t so unique anymore. This hotel needs to modernize and bring itself up to some of its Marriott peers in Boston.

Worden Hall is a racetrack-themed establishment with a bar adorned in pennies, offering a variety of pub food, an extensive selection of whiskeys and craft beers. The ambiance exudes a tavern feel with abundant wooden decor. Customers have enjoyed the delicious food and fast service, particularly praising the White Truffle Pizza and chicken strips as excellent choices. While some found the prices slightly high relative to taste, others appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and great service.
Great food for a great price and wonderful service. The brunch is amazing! Highly recommend the improved chicken and waffles, accompanied with a mimosa flight. I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was lovely! (Tall with dark hair, maybe Hispanic, but I could be wrong). Nonetheless, A1 service!

Worden Hall has a decent menu and a large selection of beer. There's ample seating and they can accommodate a large crowd. It's a good place to go to watch a game with a massive TV above the bar and TVs throughout the pub. The wood decor has a classic pub vibe. It's conveniently located around the corner from the Cambria hotel. The service was a bit slow, but I had a nice meal.

My friend and I came here for a quick meal and drinks. We ordered the wings to snack on and two drinks. The wings were good. A bit too much sauce relative to its size but for something to snack on, it was fine. I orders the spicy drinks and I thought it was a good drink. I think the prices for the food and cocktails were a bit high relative to the taste, atmosphere and aesthetics. The restaurant had a tavern feel to it where there are lots of wood aesthetics from the walls, columns and decorations. If you’re coming for drinks, I feel like the aesthetics really elevates the experience. The bartender was professional and courteous. They were quick to clean the plates after we finished and made sure to check in on us. Overall, a decent place for drinks and get together.

Great place to grab a dinner! Their beer selection is good, the dinners are tasty, atmosphere relaxed, service is great, prices reasonable, and the banana bread pudding is really good! Definitely a 10/10 would recommend place to go!

Great spot! Delicious food and fast service. Only 1 complaint is that all online orders have a $2 service fee applied, but who doesn’t these days. Their brunch is one of my favorites in the area. Their chicken strips are excellent appetizer and their pizzas are amazing.

The restaurant charges and additional 4% fee on top of your bill. This fee increases your subtotal, and therefore, the amount you are taxed and encouraged to tip your server. They offer an explanation on their menu about how devastating the past years have been on restaurants, and say the only way to offset these costs is to increase prices, but they can’t raise menu prices, as if their only ethical option is to deceive their customers. As for food: the margherita pizza is just a cheese pizza with stale basil on top. Our server was nice and attentive. Overall, I regret that we gave this place our business.
Michael M — Google review
Great meal and atmosphere but the server, Sneha, was the best by far. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explaining the different beers to us and checked back often to see how we were doing. They also had free wifi which was great.
