Grand Hotel Don Gregorio is a refined hotel housed in a 15th-century palace, offering an intimate and sophisticated environment. The contemporary decor of its 17 rooms and suites exudes classic elegance. The hotel boasts a restaurant serving top-notch tapas, as well as a neon-lit spa featuring waterfall showers, whirlpool tubs, and bubble beds.
Sublime hotel. It has a really calm vibe to it, which combined with the staff’s amazing service, made for a really relaxing stay. The decor is beautiful, as are the rooms. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. You order from a menu so it arrives perfectly prepared and wonderfully presented. Plus it’s huge! The spa is a little expensive, but we had it to ourselves which made it worth the extra expense. I hope we can return one day!

Coming here is like going home. The “staff” are hosts, personable and human, unlike corporate hotels focused on efficiency and mock hospitality. The property is small, so there is an air of intimacy and trust among guests. The restaurant hustles to provide the best food and service. The location is ideal, close to the action but removed enough to be calm and quiet. In other words, I never wanted to leave.
George S — Google review
An exquisite experience. From check in to check out (we spent there nights here), service was stellar. Room (we had the suite) was the size of a small apartment (minus a kitchen) and was immaculate. The bathroom was huge, and incredible shower, with lots of pressure. The suite also has an en suite jacuzzi and private sauna. Contrary to some other reviews, the sauna works just fine. Just give it some time to warm up, and it gets incredibly hot. You can step out of it into the shower for a "cold plunge." There was a period of about 20 minutes during our last night when the water was cut off to the second floor (where the suite is located), but this was resolved quickly. The bed and linens are clean and comfortable. The hotel also offers valet parking if you drive in (as we did) and there is space available on the street out front so you can unload/load your luggage into your vehicle or transportation. The hotel is ideally situated. Walking distance to everything, and the street out front leads directly into Plaza Mayor. It is wonderfully situated, with plenty of excellent dining options all nearby. The convent bells on the hour are magical feature as well, though the windows closed they are not intrusive. The breakfast offers many options and combinations, and all are good. The restaurant, Ment, is also very good. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. I will gladly stay again if ever in Salamanca.

BUYER BEWARE: I booked this hotel directly after doing my research so they didn't have to pay a consolidator (booking.com, trip advisor etc). Reservation cancelled directly with them as I could not travel to Spain. After receiving credit card statement and no bill, I assumed all was fine..Has even received cancel confirmation. 2 months later I am billed as a no show. Dispute w credit card company to no avail. This is NOT how a highly rated hotel should do business. Knowing this, when I finally got to Spain a few weeks ago we stayed at Hotel Rector which was amazing

Lovely stay. The perfect first night on our trip to Spain and Portugal. The beds were very comfortable, room spacious. Walkable to all the sites in Salamanca, the view from the front door is great.

Beautiful place to stay. Great location to explore the city. Spotless, full of charm. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

The Hotel NH Collection Salamanca Palacio de Castellanos offers upscale rooms and suites with complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as a cozy bar, an outdoor terrace, and meeting rooms. The location is ideal for exploring the old town of Salamanca on foot, with attractions like the Plaza Mayor, cathedrals, University of Salamanca, and more within a short walk. Guests praise the attentive staff who go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome.
Very nice hotel, classic but remodeled with a touch of modern. Great restaurant, breakfast was very good and the terraces is very nice for a drink. The service was good and everyone was very friendly. The rooms even though small, are very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, near the restaurants and right in the historic center. Great valeu for what is offered.
Antonio A — Google review
Well located hotel for exploring the city of Salamanca. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were given a complementary room upgrade and had a large comfortable room with a nice bathroom and a large balcony.
Brian M — Google review
A very nice hotel that we enjoyed a lot. We can't quite give it five stars though. We had a junior suite which is split over two levels, which means you will much less frequently traverse the stairs to use the during area and everything still happens where you sleep. The sitting area also needed pillows as the couch was uncomfortable straight in design. The stairs were narrow with tight corners making it difficult to carry luggage. The sleeping area was very tight, the toilet much more so with a shower that wouldn't allow me to turn around without hitting the sides and a toilet too close to the walls for me to sit. It was clearly retrofitted to the original constraints, but they could have done this better. Staff were lovely and helpful and housekeeping did a generally good job. We would stay again when in the area.
Karl L — Google review
The hotel is located in a beautiful building in the centre of Salamanca. There is a valet parking in the building. At the reception you only have to say when the car is needed and then it is parked in front of the entrance. A few stairs lead up to the hotel entrance, but the staff is helpful with the luggage. The staff was always very friendly. At the breakfast buffet we found a large selection of products in very good quality. The room door is poorly insulated and therefore you can hear noise from the hallway or from the lobby. However, in the night it was very quiet in the room and because of the good quality of the mattresses we could sleep very well.
Juergen Z — Google review
Great hotel. Excellent value for money. Location in the city center is perfect. The building in general, and the rooms in particular, are very nice. Very good breakfast and efficient staff.
Martin — Google review
Location is excellent, building is beautiful, rooms are simple but view. Unfortunately, rooms are hot and loud. There are stairs to get into at both doors and stairs to get to breakfast. There are 2 small elevators to get to rooms. I found out after dragging my bags up the stairs that there is a bell at the street. Someone will help you with bags. I think they need to edit website to mention these things. It is not wheelchair accessible. Staff is friendly. Can't say anything about food because I was saving my knee (stairs) for walking around and seeing the city. If you can get around easily, definitely consider staying here.
Jen N — Google review
Beautiful hotel in the centre of Salamanca. We had a very comfortable room with direct views of the cathedral from the balcony. Easy valet parking, and dog friendly too. A real gem. I will return.

Hotel Hospes Palacio de San Esteban Salamanca is a stylish and modern hotel located in a renovated convent that dates back to the 16th century. The yellow sandstone walls, contemporary furnishings, and romantic ambiance make it an exceptional place to stay. The hotel features an elegant restaurant called El Monje offering contemporary Castilian cuisine, as well as a fitness room and a terrace bar with views of the cathedrals.
Stayed here for 2 weeks in March 2025. The rooms were very nicely furnished and very comfortable and the location was perfect. Walking distance to everything in the downtown area - to Plaza Mayor all the cathedrals and Roman Bridge and right next to my favorite - Convento de San Esteban. Paulina at the front desk provided us incredible service and helped me find a doctor so fast when I had strep throat for a day. Thanks to Paulina I saw the doc and had medication in hand all within 2 hours. This could have killed an entire day. Very nice comfortable hotel. 100% recommend and 100% would stay here again

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and property. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Leo at reception. Housekeeping and breakfast are great as well. Location is great, very close to gran via and la plaza mayor.
Jayden K — Google review
I would not advise visiting with a pet dog- they are not welcome, contrary to what is advertised. Our dog is unable to go anywhere, including outside areas, apart from the room or the restaurant terrace but only when we are eating. Highly restrictive and has effectively confined us to our room given it's 38 degrees outside. We've stayed in many pet friendly hotels around Salamanca and in Spain previously and never before experienced anything like this. It's a beautiful building but there are nicer and friendlier similar hotels in the Salamanca area. We will not return here.
Rowena M — Google review
The location of the hotel was excellent, and the room was clean upon arrival. Housekeeping was consistent—our maid visited daily and was always friendly and helpful. The reception and lounge areas were pleasant, though parking was extremely limited. Unfortunately, the room itself did not meet the expectations of a 5-star property. At best, I’d rate it 2.4 stars. Room & Bathroom Issues The bathroom was particularly underwhelming: The ceiling had visible damage. Tiles around the bath were mismatched. The window area became soaked during showers. The space was cramped, with a poorly placed toilet paper holder and no bidet. The bedroom wasn’t much better. The wooden flooring had large gaps, giving the space an unfinished and neglected feel. Shutters in the bedroom couldn’t be properly closed. No shutter in the bathroom. Lights from the hotel patio were very overpowering until at least 2AM and not necessary. As the bathroom had no shutter and the door is frosted glass, I had to resort to using the hotel robe as a blackout curtain. To make matters worse, a generator under the room ran throughout the night, making sleep impossible. The TV remote was utterly useless. I have never ever seen one that is so bad. Samsung had one task, create a TV remote that works. Not the fault of the hotel, but please pick another remote. The roof tiles were visibly broken—easily fixable, even from the window—but concerning nonetheless. Uniforms & Maintenance Staff uniforms lacked consistency—some team members looked polished and professional, while others appeared careless. This inconsistency gave the overall impression of poor attention to detail. I have to be honest: seeing white trainers paired with a suit is an immediate two-star deduction in my book. It completely undermines the intended formality and polish of the uniform. Outdoors The outdoor areas weren’t much better. The pool was in use but had visible green algae around the edges and needed a thorough clean. The garden was overrun with insects and, as a result, was completely unusable during our stay. No disabled access to pool/garden. Parking was limited. Storage & Amenities Storage space was very limited. There was no place to hang long garments and no drawers at all. A safe, fridge and tea/coffee was provided, which was appreciated, but overall the room felt poorly designed. Breakfast Experience Breakfast was average. The orange juice was fresh, but other juices weren’t great. Staff were very warm and welcoming at the beginning of the service but seemed to disengage completely after seating guests. We ordered from the hot menu one day, and both orders were wrong. I requested a bratwurst with an omelette but received a chopped hotdog on one plate and a basic omelette on another. My wife ordered pancakes with what was perceived as fresh berries, it was instead, small pancakes with a sweet berry syrup. Oddly, staff would completely remove half-full items, (e.g. orange juice, fruit, ham, cheese, cakes etc) and return with them refilled 10 minutes later—why not simply top them up?. You have to wait for them to come back. I would have preferred another tea/coffee after eating breakfast. The staff showed no real interest to serve anything so I did not feel compelled to ask. There was a jug of coffee on the side but the coffee was stone cold. Final Thoughts This hotel has real potential due to its prime location, but it falls far short of the luxury it promises. With better attention to detail, maintenance, and service consistency, it could become something special. For now, though, it’s simply not a 5-star experience. Would I stay again? No. It had charm with the building and location. It just needs some extra oomph.
VH 1 — Google review
Incredibly luxurious and modern, the staff couldn't be more attentive to your every need, Jerico in the front desk is one of the nices and informative person you would find with lots of historical knowledge about the town, very clean and spacious. They also have a beautifull restaurant though the food doesn't match the place (shame). They also have a beautiful bar on the first floor but no one is ever there, unless you climb the stairs to the front desk and have him called, you're out of luck (another shame) I would definitely re visit the place.
Maria M — Google review
Great location and has parking. Room was ok. Very warm and AC didn’t really have an impact. Opening the window did but meant early morning noise. Breakfast selection was good. Nice welcome with explanation of the city. More than two coffee pods per day would have been nice!
Gregg C — Google review
We loved our stay at the Hotel Hospes Palacio San Esteban. The hotel staff is superlative with very helpful and kind reception staff. Upon arrival we were given historic center maps with explanations and recommendation. Our room was a Deluxe room and was perfect. The bed was super comfy with great linens. Spotlessly clean and a bathroom with a tub and a stand alone shower. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices. Small mini-fridge with chargeable drinks and a hot water kettle. At first we were concerned about having room 14 over the lobby and looking over the parking lot but noise was not an issue at all. The AC worked well. There is a safe in the large closet. The location of the hotel is excellent. 5-10 min walk from all the historic center sites. Parking was available for our rental. Tight spots and chargeable to our room. WiFi was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, included in our rate and begins at 7:30 am. We loved Salamanca and would definitely stay here if we come back.

We went here for lunch. It was organised by our cruise. It was part of our day trip to Salamanca. It was a tapas lunch. Very poor quality I thought. I expected so much more from a 5 star hotel.

Sercotel Puerta de la Catedral is a charming hotel located just steps away from Salamanca's famous cathedral. The hotel offers comfortable and bright rooms, some with balconies providing picturesque views of the cathedral. With a relaxed atmosphere, the hotel features a 24/7 bar and a casual restaurant, making it an ideal retreat in the historic quarter for those looking to admire ancient architecture.
This hotel is excellent. The location is magical; close to the sights but away from the noise of the young people in the area closer to Plaza Mayor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I could not have been happier with my stay at this hotel.
Kevin L — Google review
We were so pleased upon arriving at the hotel. First of all, having parking under the hotel was priceless. Inside the hotel was lovely. Spacious lobby, well decorated. Our room was on the fourth floor with a balcony overlooking the cathedral. That was so beautiful. The room was spacious, actually having a wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The bathroom was also well appointed and spacious. And best of all, was the location. To be right by the cathedral was special. We were able to go walking and return to the hotel to either use the restroom or rest. That was very convenient.
Jacqueline W — Google review
We stayed in the hotel for two nights while visiting our daughter who was studying in Salamanca. The location was perfect and our balcony with views of the cathedral unmatched. We paid for the 10€ breakfast during check in and I can say without hesitation that it was the best breakfast we have had in a long time. The variety and quality of what was available was remarkable. We had just come from walking the Camino and this was a welcomed experience for us. The hotel shows some signs of how difficult it is to maintain a property like this, but we are not too picky about perfection. We have stayed in so many places and understand the complexities of managing staff and keeping a place in top shape. Nevertheless, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. I would recommend it!
Javier R — Google review
Great location but can be loud at night. Friday night, there were extremely loud crowds drinking and singing until 1 am. Check in and out was not great. Little dismissive and had me wait while another guest who asked for directions in middle of my check in was helped first. Customer realized that I was there first and suggested that staff finish my check in but the staff said it’s ok and made me wait. Check out staff did not bother to ask how my stay was. Do not recommend for anyone seeking quiet room.
Anna — Google review
We live in Portugal and I decided to book a short trip to Spain to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We started in Salamanca staying at the Secortel Puerta de la Catedral. Our spacious balcony had an amazing view of the cathedral! And the location of the hotel was truly spectacular! The rooms were VERY comfortable and the bed was divine. The only tricky part is their parking garage (€21/day). Make sure you put “Horno 7” in your GPS to get to the parking garage as you cannot drive directly to the hotel. It’s a hill up to the garage down a fairly narrow street, a right into the garage and then down. Coming out I didn’t stay to the right before making the left back down the street and scraped the side of our brand new car. 😳 Salamanca was fabulous and the hotel very nice, we highly recommend both and will be back!!!
Susan W — Google review
Worst hotel experience of my life – and I travel frequently. First of all, when booking online the website added extra taxes even though the checkout price stated they were included. Their own confirmation email said “100% of the stay will be charged 3 days before arrival,” yet the hotel tried to take payment earlier, denying me the chance to update my bank details as I intended. I later paid in full with my new details, but they wrongly kept my old card details and used them to charge me yet again – a clear breach of data protection. Instead of cancelling the pending payment, they instead processed a refund which dragged on for over 2 weeks, and when the money finally arrived it was £16 short. Throughout this whole process, the reception staff were dismissive and arrogant. My concerns about delays were ignored, and although the head receptionist initially suggested they might offer some recompense, I was later told they had already done everything they should. No refund of the shortfall, no credit, no goodwill gesture. Even worse, I had to request an hoja de reclamaciones (official complaints form) four times before it was given to me – which I believe is against the guidance of the relevant Spanish consumer law. This was finally given to me late on our last night, giving me no chance to fill it in. The hotel itself is in desperate need of refurbishment. Despite paying for a “premium” room: - Lampshades and chairs were badly stained - Fridge top damaged - Outdoor furniture dirty and marked - Hairdryer faulty - Wooden floors scratched - Room not properly cleaned (debris under the bed) - Room service inconsistent (bottled water left one day, not the next) - Wallpaper in corridors peeling - Reception often didn’t answer calls from the room The only positive was the central location – everything else fell far below standard. I will never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid it. I simply don't recognise the positive reviews I relied upon when initially booking a room at this hotel. I never need to complain about hotels - I've just left a 9/10 review for the Holiday Inn in Colchester (excellent service). I will update this review once I have heard from senior management at the chain, and if I have to take things further with el Departamento de Turismo de Salamanca and with la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Excellent hotel, very spacious room, and excellent breakfast. Prime position. The only downside was an exceptionally long wait to check out, with the receptionist running around and trying to sort out something, while saying 'just a moment please'. The 'moment' took 15 minutes.

The hotel is lovely. It is tastefully furnished, the atmosphere is calm and quiet, the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional, and the view of the cathedral from our room was superb. Thank you!

Hotel Rector Salamanca is an upscale boutique hotel located in the heart of Salamanca, offering chic and understated rooms with marble bathrooms. Housed in a Neoclassical building dating back to the 18th century, this charming hotel has been recognized for its excellence by Conde Nast Johansens. The rooms and suites are individually decorated with antique furniture and luxurious linens, providing modern comfort while preserving historical charm.
If I could give 1000 stars this hotel would certainly deserve it. Eva, Andrea and Ignacio gave the most outstanding service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel in Europe. It was like having your own personal butler or concierge service. The attention to detail is unparalleled and the one thing I regret is not to have tried the breakfast service. Our food experience in Salamanca wasn’t great. If this hotel had a dining service, it would be even better. I would go back to Salamanca just to stay in this hotel and sleep in their amazing beds. Thank you guys for making us feel like royalty!

Just finished up a magical stay in Salamanca and Hotel Rector was superb. One of the best hotel experiences we've had, and thats saying something. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling here looki g to be pampered. Amazing staff, qauint quarters, quiet intimate setting, and good breakfast. Loved the small notes and touches/surprise gifts during turn down. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Our stay at the Hotel Rector was outstanding. Even before arrival, the hotel messaged me to ensure the temperature of our room would be to our liking. We were immediately greeted by Carlos and Ignacio, who proceeded to care for all our needs and anticipated them even before us. The hotel is pristine and beautifully decorated with both modern and older works of art. Indeed, the art even extends into the garage and gym! The location is superb, the restaurant delicious and the service is impeccable. Indeed it may be the nicest experience I’ve had at a hotel. I highly recommend a stay.

I visited Hotel Rector last night, and whilst it was a brief visit to Salamanca, I’ll definitely be back and will be staying here again. Ignacio and Carlos and Roberto, and the rest of the hotel team, offer an incredible welcome and it’s clear they make every effort to ensure your stay is comfortable. (I received a WhatsApp on the morning of check-in informing me of local weather conditions and the temperature of my room’s air conditioning and whether I’d like it adjust for my arrival.) 😊 Incredible comfort, hospitality and an amazing city! A fantastic team and great people. See you all again soon! Lee

From the moment arrived we were blown away. The personalized service was unmatched by the extremely friendly staff. They assisted with recommendations around the city, making reservations and arranging transportation to the train station. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Salamanca with everything being just a short walk away. Cannot wait to stay with them again soon!

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, marked by the exceptional helpfulness and professionalism of the staff throughout our visit. The hotel provides a range of good facilities and maintains a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at ease. While the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, a few minor renovations would further elevate the overall experience, ensuring an even greater level of comfort and satisfaction. The reception staff were particularly outstanding during our stopover. They went above and beyond, taking the time to listen to our needs and offering thoughtful, personalized solutions to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Their genuine care and commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience truly stood out. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of service, comfort, and location. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Salamanca and look forward to returning in the future.

Full marks for this hotel. Excellent location 2 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor. Friendly, helpful staff, well-appointed rooms with comfy beds, great buffet breakfast with a good variety of fruit, cereals, hot dishes etc. Visited with a group and everyone was happy. Can recommend without reservation.

We were told the room might be small as it was in the city centre but we were pleasantly surprised that it was of a good size. Clean too. We had breakfast which was a reasonable good spread and service was excellent

Great location adjacent to Plaza de Mayor Salamanca and the fabulous historical heritage of Salamanca. Many, many cafes, tabernas and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The only drawback we found was there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the Hotel, otherwise it provides every amenity an international traveller could want.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful- Location, comfort, and friendliness. It is about a minute from the plaza and it’s great restaurants. The staff is helpful and friendly with any request and our room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was delicious with a delicious assortment of food. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Salamanca.
Alisa P — Google review
The room is spacious and bathroom is clean. Has a bathtub which is a plus for us. The gym is tiny but well equipped and spotless. Extremely comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast cost only $10 euro with a number of fresh juices, egg dishes and pastries to choose from. Really a bargain as you will be so full after the breakfast that you don't need to have lunch. The concierge service is speedy and professional. I really recommend this hotel for its central location, excellent service and competitive price. The only reminder is that there is no water boiler in the hotel room. But you can ask the bar to give you hot water.

Parador de Salamanca is an upscale hotel with refined rooms, a spa, gym, and outdoor pool. It offers a large car park for self-driving tours and overlooks the old town of Salamanca. The restaurant serves high-quality breakfast and Spanish sirloin in a local dinner set. The lobby and room cleaning services maintain consistently high standards. The city view rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with free parking available.
Was absolutely spot on fantastic location the whole place was better than expected great big car park had no worries about parking overnight and so close to the town stopped overnight on the way down to Gibraltar

Awful night sleep. Room at 26deg. Aircon system turned off in the complete hotel. No way of cooling the room except leaving the windows open that then let mosquitoes in. Safe unhelpful and positively rude in the cafeteria
Tom P — Google review
Stayed at short notice and they were accommodating with my large vehicle. My issues were with the temperature and the check-in. I arrived from a long drive very exhausted. I had to stand and wait through an extremely long check-in process whilst he tried to upsell me better rooms, meal plans etc. The worst part, however, is that whatever I did with the temperature control in the room, it made it hotter. The air conditioning did not work at all, and I stopped trying to use the climate control once my room hit 34 degrees celsius. I then opened the window the very small amount it would open. Not good for the price paid.
T R — Google review
We stayed here for 2 nights from 23/9/25, we prebooked half board Paradors can be a bit hit and miss, but this one was definitely a hit for us. It’s a modern Parador, but well designed with beautiful views over the city. Check in was simple and our room was large and well equipped, though as with most Paradors now a little dated. The weather had started to get colder so our room was an OK temperature, but the aircon is definitely not very effective. The room was kept very clean though. We had a garden view room, but I wish we had chosen the city view as the views were that good as to justify the extra money. Once we were settled we had lunch in the bar, which was excellent, and then explored the city. Salamanca is definitely a beautiful city, though I think we would have struggled to entertain ourselves had we had more than one full day there. We ended up eating all our meals in the hotel, the quality of the food was very good and the staff were helpful and attentive. All in we thought it was a very good stay, but I would worry that I would be roasted if I went back at a hotter time of year!

It's a modern Parador, but a good one in a great location working distance from the city centre. Excellent rooms, and a great view of the cathedral from the bar

I chose this place as it advertised parking on site. I was a little concerned that we'd be too far out of town. But it was perfect. Hotel was comfortable with big rooms and great beds etc. Walking into the centre of beautiful Salamanca took about 15 minutes and was a lovely walk, especially when the town is all lit up at night. And what a beautiful town it is. Very happy with our choice. My only observation is that @ €20 per person, breakfast is a bit steep, so we just went and found a lovely cafe in Salamanca which cost €7 each.

Hotel Alameda Palace is an upscale accommodation option in Salamanca, offering free Wi-Fi and a range of amenities. Situated conveniently between the bustling tourist areas and quieter parts of the city, this hotel features a seasonal rooftop pool, fitness center, and a soothing spa for relaxation. The rooms cater to various needs including VIP, family, and honeymoon suites. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant.
Elegant hotel a 12 minute level walk from Salamanca railway station. The lobby is welcoming and beautiful with period furniture, as was our spacious room. Everything sparkles and shines and it felt very luxurious. Lots of amenities in the bathroom including shaver, comb and toothbrushes. It is a good 20 minute walk to the main sights but along pedestrianised streets with lots to see on the way.
GG — Google review
This is an Italianate inspired hotel with acres of marble and mirrors. Everywhere you look are reproductions of old masters and in each room and the hallways are pieces of reproduction furniture, chests of drawers and desks. The rooms have a LOT of mirrors , especially the bathroom which can be a little off-putting depending on your body and self esteem! The 9th floor has a terrace restaurant and a pool above which was closed, but the view over Salamanca is beautiful. The big let down was the buffet breakfast. It was pretty average. Only chocolate rice bubbles and cornflakes, badly made scrambled eggs and bacon. Lots of slices meat and cheese. Boxed juice dispenser which was not orange, but was unidentifiable. The coffee machine was good. The pastries poor. The serving staff were not friendly. I’m sure they don’t like yours as they are overwhelming and demanding and you could tell. Such a shame as the old world charm of the property was spoiled and lowered my rating.
G M — Google review
The Alameda Palace was a downhill, 11-minute walk from the station and, generally, offered a great location. Entering the lobby is like stepping into the Ritz Carlton: Lots of gleaming brass, deep red and black tones set the mood of an old-fashioned hotel, accented by chandeliers. The room was astonishing: Long and stately, again picking up the regal red and black colors in the furniture and décor, splitting the sitting area (with a pull-out couch) by sliding doors that formed the room facing the street. The beds were firm and comfortable; bathroom was classy looking, complete with granite floors and sink. WIFI was rock solid. Best of all, the price was very reasonable ... the best overnight stay of my two weeks traveling around Spain and Portugal. If the proprietors read this, I’d suggest adding two inexpensive missing room items: Facial tissue and hair conditioner.
Julie M — Google review
The reason for giving the room a 2 star is because the bed is tiny for two average sized people and terribly uncomfortable, the pillows are bad too! The hotel is really impressive so why not upgrade to new beds and pillows?
Bryan P — Google review
Great location. City center, private parking ( paid ). The rooftop is amazing with a small but very nice and quiet pool.

Great location with easy parking. Our suite was large and very well presented with views over the city. Bathroom was very spacious with good shower, double sinks and jacuzzi bath. The only negative was the air con refused to work!
Ian H — Google review
A very old but renovated hotel in good location. Within walking distance to shopping area. The only less impressive was the buffet breakfast and only a few choices.

Last week we were on a group vacation from the US. We had paella and enjoyed a flamenco show. There was a really unpleasant incident when a young, seemingly inexperienced, and very rude waitress spilled my shot on my clothes. She didn't apologize or even bother to bring me anything to clean it up. She even made some very rude gestures. The tour guide on the bus back told me she was related to the head waitress. A 5-star hotel shouldn't allow that kind of behavior.

We stayed in a great little suite for three nights for my family of 3. Perfect location - central and just outside of Plaza Mayor in its own cute plaza, but not the crazy noise and crowd level of Pl Mayor. The ladies who ran the front desk couldn't have been nicer - even setting my son up with a cute cultural scavenger hunt in the city. The room was spotless, the beds were comfy, and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed taking our own snacks to the shared rooftop area (also snacks available for reasonable purchase). Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something comfortable, walkable, clean, and reasonably priced.

Great apartment, really friendly staff. Perfect central location, plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was great, lovely choice and very friendly woman served us our coffee and orange juice, freshly squeezed. Brilliant Internet, great for people quickly visiting or on business trips. Beautiful city, highly recommend.

Modern comfort at a wonderful location. · At less than 100m from the main plaza, the location is hard to beat. The rooms are super modern; our Studio was pretty spacious; and having a mini kitchen was nice. (We didn't cook, but tea and coffee making facilities were provided.) Super friendly staff, even by Spanish standards. They offered a cheap next-day laundry service, which we took advantage of. Would definitely go back. · We had a room whose windows opened into an interior light well, which was a bit dull - ones that faced the small square at the front might have been nicer, but might have been noisier. We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. We didn't manage to get the safe to work. The parking only took cash (it was about 200m away).

Little boutique hotel in city center, close to the plaza and many restaurants. Easy walk to the Salamanca University. Super friendly staff. Rooms are very small but smartly designed and highly functional. My family of four stayed in the two bathroom unit and I like the bunk beds. Nice top level club room. Breakfast is not bad.

The location is perfect, very close to downtown. The rooms are nice and spacious but it was very cold when we arrived and took long until the room got warm. The hotel wasn’t full but instead of a double bed we had two beds together and they weren’t attached and moved a lot. The service was a bit rude. We came with a gift box that advertised the experience as night plus spa, but the jacuzzi wasn’t working and they didn’t compensate us anyhow. Parking costs 19 euros. Breakfast is very good with great variety of local products
Sara S — Google review
This place is fabulous, I strongly recommend it when visiting Salamanca. The service is really great, they treat you nicely and are proactive to take care of you at all times. The views from the hotel are great because the area is wonderful. The rooms are clean and prepared up to the highest standard. But for me the best bit was, by far, this small corner with local products in the breakfast buffet (see attached photo). They had small pastries, olive oils, cheeses and more food from nearby towns, and it added this magical touch to the whole experience in Salamanca. It is something that I haven’t seen before, at least not that well designed and integrated within the whole breakfast/service. I will come back just for this! Lastly, we mistakenly broke the orange juice machine and they fixed it within minutes for us while being extra nice! I was really worried and they managed everything very calmed, which is also appreciated. Nice and educated staff!

I had a lovely stay at the Abba Fonseca with a larger tour group. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are absolutely lovely and the breakfast is elevated. My only recommendation is when you put a tour group into rooms, do not put some people into premium rooms and other people and standard rooms because they will talk about who has bathrobes and who has coffee machines in their rooms and who doesn’t. I went down to the receptionist to ask for a robe and they said yes, but it never arrived. I went back the next morning to ask for a robe and about the coffee and they said “Your friends are in a premium room and you your room isn’t premium” without answering the obvious question as to why some of us were put in premium rooms.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, yes some of the décor might be a little dated but that adds to the charm, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the secure car park for 11 euros was great as i was on a motorcycle, I stayed in air BNB 2 months ago which cost 300 euros a night and was not a touch on this hotel. So excellent value for money and the breakfast was typical for this region.

An excellent luxury hotel to stay in for exploring the old town of Salamanca. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was very clean, with all essential amenities. The breakfast was very good too. I would stay here again.
Imelda L — Google review
Great location being next to the Roman Bridge, so a 15-20 mins walk into the old town. It's a climb once across the bridge but other than that it's manageable for all. The room was fine (RM 208) although no USB charging points. Shower over bath was good, hot water and strong jet. There is a pool and outside area but that was being refurbished. We found free on street parking outside the hotel but there is paid for parking somewhere. Perfect for a couple of nights to explore Salamanca.
Tim S — Google review
Amazing hotel, wonderful rooms with awesome bathrooms, excellent location right in front of the Puente Romano bridge. Easy free parking available. We didn't buy breakfast but it's available between 8-10:30am for 9euros/person. AC works even outside of summer time, and the beds are very comfortable.

We have stayed here many times and always find the staff welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast waitress, Rosa, is very cheerful and in these Covid times serves breakfast at your table. Underground parking for a charge if needed but plenty street parking near the hotel.

Overall very pleased with this hotel. Rooms were very clean and the front desk was incredibly helpful is helping us order in food (we arrived into town quite late and very hungry.) Armando P — Google review
he hotel is located in the center of the historic district, on a beautiful square surrounded by old buildings. This has its advantages, as all the historical landmarks are within walking distance, but also its downsides—it’s very difficult to access by car. The hotel description mentioned that parking was available, but unfortunately, it was completely full, so we had to leave our car in the nearest covered parking lot. And let’s not forget that this is Spain, where things can easily be stolen from your car. Pros: The room was beautifully decorated in a classic style, with a very nice and clean bathroom. Overall, the room was spotless and had a pleasant scent. Cons: Upon check-in, we were charged an additional fee of €30 for bringing a small dog into the room. Breakfast was not included in the price, so we paid €14 per person—and we were disappointed. The selection was extremely limited: just a couple of types of cheese and salami, barely any vegetables, scrambled eggs, and ice-cold boiled eggs. If you’re planning to stay at this hotel, skip the breakfast—it’s a waste of money. For just €5 more, you can eat somewhere else, where the food will be 100 times tastier, more filling, and healthier. When we went to bed, we noticed a pair of earplugs on the bedside table. At first, I didn’t understand why they were there, since hotels rarely provide them. But by midnight, it became clear. Right below the hotel, there are bars and clubs. People drink, party, and talk loudly until morning, so getting a good night’s sleep is unlikely. Verdict: Is this hotel worth the money, or should you look for something else? Definitely the second option.

I made a confirmed booking in booking site. The guy at reception refused it saying hotel was full. He checked my reservation and cancelled it. Very very rude person. The hotel hall has very bad smell. Don’t go to this hotel.

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Parking is available at 16.5 euro/ day/ night. You can choose to park outside this area for a fee or further down outside of monument area for free. Very central and accessible to the highlights. Rooms can be a bit noisy during the day if you’re sleeping in during housekeeping!
Brenda A — Google review

Great location - in the middle of everything. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. They were extremely spacious, I asked for a blanket at reception and they come all the way up to my room to check if there is one in the closet and there isn’t so they went all the way to get a brand new, fresh one. A lot of noise in the night though. The breakfast was great - very delicious and heaps of healthy/delicious options. Tiny lift though.

Hotel Melibea is a laid-back property housed in a 16th-century building that was once a college for knights of the Order of Santiago. Following a recent restoration, the hotel now boasts streamlined rooms with modern art and minimalist decor. Guests can enjoy the peaceful walled garden or take a short stroll to the town center. The check-in process is convenient, as it's done through your phone, and rooms feature smart TVs with Disney Plus, digital screens in bathroom mirrors, and comfortable mattresses.
Staying at this hotel was a very nice and rewarding surprise. We stayed here last year (Nov. 2024) for my PhD's defense and loved the hotel. -Convenience: you can briefly park your car by the entrance to quickly check-in and/or drop your luggage off, it is very close to all the major places in the are and is very close to a parking garage. The cafeteria/bar/breakfast room downstairs was great! -Design: The hotel has a very modern and streamlined design. Even though we are not into the specific theme displayed, we were able to appreciate the overall design, the good taste, the attention paid to details (and the time necessary to do so), the work and effort put into building and creating the different spaces. -Staff: every person we interacted with, starting with the call center agents, were very pleasant and helpful. We left Melibea knowing that whenever I need to go back to Salamanca, this will be our first choice! Thank you.

A really quirky and modern hotel with great rooms. The on site cafe/bar is great. It's location means you are only 5 to 10 minute walk from all the attractions
Amedo C — Google review
The room was clean, but it is way too small for the price, the whole room is just one bed, the toilet wall is made of glass. The sound proof is very bad, you can hear everything. And the water come out to the floor when you shower. What’s more the room is at the first floor. It’s on the street. So everyone walk by can see you if you open the window, Enhance no natural light. The inner wall is made by wood. So you can hear everything in the hallway, make you wonder if people can hear what’s in the room too. The location is good, staff is friendly. But the privacy part is really not good. So I don’t think I would consider to stay again if i can choose.

This is the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in while in Europe. While the art in the rooms is a little weird, the garden and terrace area is so lovely! Some of the finishing work in the room is cheap, but the beds are comfortable and housekeeping is friendly and does their job well. A nice, tranquil location that is still very close to all the must-see locations in Salamanca!

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in, in Spain so far. First I love that there is no front desk, you checkin with your phone and get to the room with your phone (tap with a QR). It’s simple and easy. The rooms were amazing and clean. The balcony was cozy and a beautiful view. The tv in the room was a smart tv with Disney plus. The mirror in the bathroom had a digital screen that showed the news, time, and weather. Excellent rain shower. The mattresses were very comfortable. I seriously think this should be a five star hotel, it’s very high quality. Would stay here again and I highly recommend it.

in a country with an unemployment rate at 15% you can't have a proper reception? this screen is very slow to use, let alone you have to enter sensitive card details including CVV. also it claims to be 4 stars which is ridiculous for not having the closets, fridge, having a shoebox room and poorly working AC 🥸 1 star for location and 1 for bed, but it constitutes a hostel more than a hotel

Very expensive for what we got, € 282 / 2 nights. Our Deluxe Double (room 100) on ground floor was a very small room with a +/- 1.50 m broad, but good bed and some 0.30 m passage on each side. ABSOLUTELY NO: " • Walk-in closet • Upper floors accessible by elevator • Entire unit wheelchair accessible• Roll-in shower " AT ALL. No safety box, water-kettle or fridge in the room. The breakfast was very poor, old bread and more of a continental style. Nothing like a proper spanish one.

I stayed here 3 nights in early Sept 2024, and it was fantastic! The staff was great and the room was very nice. I recommend staying in a room with a view of the Plaza Mayor. It was nice to open the balcony doors in the morning and at night, but when the doors are closed it was completely sound proof. We stayed for just one night in the Luxury Plaza, but would have liked to have stayed longer. First rate rooms in a cozy spot right on the main square of Salamanca. Perfect touristic location for exploring this very walkable city. Limited facilities outside the very well appointed and comfortable rooms and friendly and efficient reception.

Right on the Plaza Mayor but on the first floor. Easy to walk past it as there is an unassuming sign. Rooms super clean and modern. Very small reception, staff helpful and friendly. This fine, stylish hotel is ensconced in the unified structure of buildings that define the perimeter of the Plaza Mayor. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and well-appointed, with modern lighting and a small balcony overlooking the plaza. Blanca, the front desk person who greeted us, was detailed in her knowledge of the hotel and of Salamanca itself. She answered all our questions, and truly wanted to make our experience special. She mapped some walking routes for us and patiently explained what we could see and how long the walks would be. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful. We were lucky enough to stay in the Plaza Mayor View Suite. The room is sumptuous, and the bed is very comfortable. While there is no breakfast service, there is a great bakery downstairs and coffee in the room, allowing you to enjoy the morning while watching the people on the plaza. Or you can stop at a beautiful cafe less than a minute away on the square. The front desk is not full-time, but they are very sweet and helpful and on call if you need them. It is a perfect place to stay in Salamanca.

The hotel boasts spacious, clean rooms with stunning views, ensuring a restful retreat after exploring the nearby attractions.
Great spacious rooms at great price and good value parking under hotel - a bit tight, but that is normal in Spain Walking distance from center (a little bit up hill on the way back) Great deal at the restaurant: good food, 3 course meal + wine for 18,= pp (!)

Location is good, located at the quiet neighbourhood; also walking distance to Salamanca university and the plaza. There is a decent size of supermarket within 100m walk; just behind the hotel. Room is clean & good size. Managed to capture very nice morning sky after breakfast during my stay. Also, due to the rush we had set dinner within hotel premises - wine, bread, chips, grilled chicken with gravy, tiramisu dessert.

I have no idea where they found 4 stars for this place. Attitude of personal is bad, room itself is good but very tired and requires renovation. If you plan to come with a car better to choose another hotel or just use parking nearby. We had a problem with a key to access hotel parking every entrance we need to call personnel to open the door. We asked to change a key and got an answer that to leave the hotel we don’t need a key. Very friendly isn’t it?
Anatolii G — Google review
The facade looked lovely and lush, but it needs a lot of money spending on it. The room was a good size, but the shower didn't work, the tap was loose and the running water to the bath was a trickle. Half of the lights didn't work and those that did sounded like they were shorting out. Reception staff and breakfast staff were very pleasant, the bar man needed a personality transplant. No kettle in the room for a brew, and they charged me €2 for a small cup of hot water. Breakfast was ok.
Jackie L — Google review
This huge hotel is very tired. The staff unfriendly and tired. The keycard system is failing. Multiple trips to reception required. The rooms are a good size and the air conditioning works well. The bed was old and sloping. The pump soap in the shower was empty. There was no tissues, moisturizer, conditioner or tea/coffee facilities. The buffet breakfast was truly awful. Big tables for all the bus tours which is fine but the food was just terrible. Curled crispy-edged cheese, tasteless pastries, terrible coffee, tinned two fruits and trays of meat. The best part of this hotel is its location which is about 10 minutes outside the old town.
G M — Google review
Stay away from this hotel!! No AC and my group was hot upon arrival. Apparently they turn it off and you can only access heat!! It’s 58F outside and our room is still warm. We left the windows open for 3 hours!! Rooms are dated but location is good. So glad we only have an overnight here. Cosmos gets negative points with this hotel
Cynthia F — Google review
Only good thing about this place is the location, walking distance to all the sights. However the staff (that I encountered) have terrible attitude, rooms are outdated, facilities are at a minimal (no kettle for the room) and wont hold luggage while we had a time limit breakfast.
Philly T — Google review
Hotel is in need of an upgrade. Key cards didn't work for many guests. Rooms dirty and towels were thin and grey. The breakfast was woeful.

The hotel boasts an inviting outdoor pool and a restaurant that serves delicious meals, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. Recently hosting a large group event, the hotel has proven to be an excellent choice for gatherings, offering ample space and friendly service.
Visited in August 2024 Driving on the way back to Barcelona we stayed here for a night. Check in was fast friendly and easy. Room was big and nice, AC was cold, wifi was fast, bed was comfortable, bathroom was large and clean! Perfect night stay!

It is not a good location but the parking is free, the room is clean and okay but dated ( seems like old hotel for the 90's) . The problem was the check in. I'd arrived at about 20:00 and needed to wait 40 minutes to finish my check in. 05 persons to check and only 01 employee. Behind me more 3 persons waiting for the check in. It is not employee fault because the hotel knows the times you need more than 01 employee on the reception.

We've stayed at the hotel 3 times now and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is conveniently located outside the more expensive city centre, yet it's within easy walking distance of the old town. We loved our stay at the Exe Salamanca. The hotel delivers exactly what it promises: clean and quiet rooms not too far from the city center, but far enough to be in a quiet neighbourhood. Great welcome from reception staff. They were helpful with the parking and pointing us in the right direction. All in all, would highly recommend for a great price/quality ratio that is hard to beat. Would come back here. P.S.: please leave a ❤️ of this review was helpful in making your selection, thanks 🙏

I had great experience in staying in this hotel. The bed was so comfy, very very clean. Rooms are very nice. High value of money. The hotel is around 800m from the center but it is hilly and takes longer. The hotel is in quiet area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A great hotel in a great location. Close to all the great places here in Salamanca but not too close! Helen W — Google review
Excellent hotel, the location is good, within a 20-30 minute from the city center and next to a park. The rooms are very nice and big as well as comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent, lots of options and a very friendly staff.
Leonor C — Google review
The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood (the nearby school is not a problem at all), close to a main road with many stores and 5-10 min walking from the old town and the University. It is well decorated, with comfortable rooms and baths. Breakfast is OK for a 4-Star hotel. The problem is noise coming from other rooms. There is no meaning to discuss about soundproofing, simply because the walls do not reach up to the ceiling (i.e. during the night you can see the light coming from the next room if you stand in front of the entrance door). Unfortunately, during all night a noise (folklore music) was coming form the room next to me. I knocked the wall with my hand as a sign, I knocked on the door, I called reception twice (in 01.30 am and 02.00 am), but nothing. I would have expected the hotel staff to have found a way to control this situation.

Beautiful hotel! Located right in the city center, this trendy hotel has the friendliest staff I have met in all of my travels all-over Spain. The beds are super comfortable, best sleep I've had in some time. They offer a breakfast buffet in the mornings. Ordered room service one night, the food was amazing. The convenience definitely worth spending a little more. If you're looking for a great place while touring beautiful Salamanca, look no further; this place is it.

CLEAN and quiet. Walking distance to Roman bridge which is a good starting point to visit historical center. Friendly staff. Paid parking at a reasonable price. There are also free parking option on streets around the hotel. Receptionist Sara helped us with local food suggestions and places. And, there is also a free and very detailed city guide at the hotel for customers.

Need to improve their customer service and attitude toward customers. We arrived July 21st, late afternoon with elderly parents after a long hot day in the Spanish Extremadura and were met with a very cold receptionist, made check in very burdensome and made us wait for a long time while she kept babbling on the phone to a colleague. Tried our best to speak spanish but still got met with a rude persona. Asked her to pass on some feedback but she just kept talking back at us, really upsetting. Made our stay memorable for the wrong reasons. Breakfast could have been better, selection was poor, not like other Extremaduran hotels where we stayed. However two staff kept lingering around so it seems there's a mismanagement of resources. Bedroom AC was broken, you couldn't regulate it yourself, more like one size fits all which was really annoying as some of us felt really hot. Certainly did not feel like a 4 star hotel.
A S — Google review
Very pleasant stay and great value. More of a good three star than four star hotel. A little walk into centre or very cheap taxi. Safe underground parking for extra charge. Doesn't really have a proper restaurant but snack bar better than it sounds. Will return as not enough time here. Salamanca is so beautiful.
Julie S — Google review
Rooms were fairly spacious and service was very kind and helpful. Feels a bit dated and while it said parking was abundant, we ended up a few blocks away. Otherwise- nice walk into the center of town!
Patrick F — Google review
Fantastic location if driving to Spain or Portugal from Santander very close to the main routes. Safe underground parking and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Bar food is reasonably priced and tasty.
Neil H — Google review
Nice hotel - welcoming staff. Great location. Now when we arrived it was unexpectedly 34° so it wasn't that surprising the air conditioning couldn't cope. However there was no excuse for the shower cubicle door being broken. If the bar is shut when you arrive there is a nice cafe directly accros the road. It's an easy stroll to the Cathedral and town. There are two supermarkets just behind the hotel.

Eunice Hotel Gastronomico, located in Salamanca, offers a superb experience with its elegant and cozy ambiance. The hotel features unique corners, a landscaped courtyard, and a delicious tasting breakfast. The attention to detail in the decoration of both the rooms and the rest of the building is remarkable, creating a welcoming atmosphere akin to a small museum. Guests are warmly welcomed by lovely and extremely helpful staff.
Hotel Eunice was an absolute delight. The room was centrally located in old Salamanca, close to many sights, and the room was very nice. But what set this hotel apart were its phenomenal service, and its food which was a foodie's delight. The dinner tasting menu was fabulous, as was the elaborate multi-course breakfast. The head chef came out to visit with the clients at every meal - what a treat. We will return. Cheers, Ann & Robert Hannah

Excellent outdoor seating by a trickling fountain. Superb understated yet perfectly attentive service. A gastronomic journey through a tasting menu of regional dishes crafted with precision, care and an eye for both beauty in presentation and delight for the palate. Chef Jose Manuel Pascua creates a dream of a dining experience where each new dish, presented with its own special cutlery and signature bowl, warm stone platform, or porcelain dish takes your senses on an amazing journey. As overnight guests of the beautiful hotel, we could both appreciate the incredible detail that went into the renovation as well as the complimentary second tasting journey thorough both sweet and savory offerings for breakfast. This was a capstone experience after a month of travel. Yes, you’ll pay for it, but it’s unlikely you’ll ever forget it. I know I won’t, and I’m eager to embrace my inner foodie again for a repeat!

The hotel, service and food was absolutely superlative. We were warmly welcomed. All the staff were thoroughly lovely and extremely helpful. The room was modern and finished to a high standard with a king size bed and double sink in a well proportioned bathroom. We were on the ground floor and had a door that opened onto an outdoor seating area in a landscaped courtyard. We dined in the hotel and had a tasting menu and service befitting a Michelin restaurant but at a far more reasonable price. The breakfast service was to the same standard and no less attentive. We returned to the room to find the bed turned down and a chocolate on each pillow. Small details which are often lacking but a clear hallmark of quality. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning historic core of Salamanca. Will return again for sure and look forward to the restaurant they will be opening.

A Perfect Stay – Especially with Little Ones! We had a truly wonderful experience at Eunice Hotel Gastronómico. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations — especially while traveling with our 1.5-year-old twins! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast — it was exceptional. Every detail, from the fresh ingredients to the beautiful presentation, made it feel like a gourmet experience rather than a typical hotel meal. A special thank you to Vanessa at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. Her warmth and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for, and her kindness toward our twins did not go unnoticed. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone — especially families looking for a relaxing, high-quality experience.

Everything was just brilliant. From the very warm welcome to the facilities, the restaurant, attentions for us and our dog 🐶. In the heart of the very busy city center of Salamanca the atmosphere is just so quiet and refined inside the hotel. We had a room with a mini terrace overlooking the outside patio which was big enough for us and just wished we had booked more nights!

Hotel Eurostars Las Claras is a traditional accommodation located in central Salamanca, just a short walk from the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor Square. It provides convenient access to the railway station and is well-connected to the city. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a cafeteria, bar/lounge, covered parking garage, and a relaxing atmosphere.
We loved our Christmas 2024 stay here. Ideally located for visiting the city in a relatively quiet area with a fountain. The reception is welcoming and the staff are so helpful and professional with friendly manner. Our room was a junior suite, which we appreciated for the extra space and a comfortable lounge to enjoy our shop bought snacks and watch tv on Christmas Eve. The bed is super comfy and housekeeping kept everything immaculately clean. Despite few guests there is some noise transference between the rooms, so light sleepers need ear plugs, but it is not excessive or late at night. The rooms are a little tired in places but at the price we paid it was still luxurious. Showers are over the bath, a little tricky to manage and we hope walk in showers will replace this in the future. This does not detract from the experience if you know in advance. We booked breakfast for Christmas Day, and it was good quality with lots of choice. We'd stay again and wish all the staff a wonderful 2025. Thank you for making our visit so relaxing.
Lighthouse C — Google review
The location is perfect. Very centre of the city, close to everything. The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The private parking is very helpful despite a rather peculiar entrance. What can be improved? 1. Open wifi? In 2025? C'mon, guys. Besides, it's a bit slow and hangs for a minute every now and then. 2. The bathtub is very slippery, and the location of the grab bars is way too far to be useful. That's obvious liability for the hotel, something easily fixable before it creates an expensive crisis.
Eugene N — Google review
Salamanca is amazing. Unfortunately we spent only one day here. This hotel is located near some of the points of interest in a little street. But the rooms are simply spectacular, the size, the bathroom, the furniture. Although it is obviously an old building, everything is well kept and maintained, so it looks like new. The food at breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent.

We stayed at Hotel Eurostars Las Claras recently. Having flown internationally and then driven in from Madrid, this hotel was a pleasant first night stop in Spain. We found the hotel easily and were happy to see a stopping zone in front of the hotel which allowed us to park briefly while checking in. Reception staff were always pleasant and informative with all our questions. The room was clean, warm and of a good size. All the mod-cons worked as expected. We used the hotel’s parking garage. As is typical in Europe (especially if you’re staying in an inner city hotel = converted older building) on-site parking garages are smaller than what might be expected when compared to modern parking structures. Be mindful when hiring your car. We had a late model Citroen C4 and managed to get in the parking lift and around the garage quite well. Access to the old town was easy, a short walk away. Happy to recommend this hotel.

a hotel located near all the tourist attractions that you can visit on foot, with friendly staff who will solve any problem you encounter, with a roomy and welcoming junior suite, a tasty breakfast and the idea of parking cars using the elevator to the garage is great and useful considering that the streets around the hotel are narrow and the parking spaces are for locals. Good job!

The Hotel San Polo overlooks the ruins of the Romanesque San Polo Church in Salamanca, Spain. The hotel offers period touches and terrace dining in a charmingly decorated setting. All rooms come with private bathrooms, Wi-Fi, a mini bar, and a satellite TV.
Good value for money and good location. I had a view to the cathedral and ruins. The rooms are clean, old fashioned in a positive way, no discomfort. Very cozy mattress. A bit shabby and dirty bathroom, not critically. Didn’t try food because their staff seemed not to speak English and the reception lady was rude not wanting to explain me if they have gluten free options and what exactly is served for breakfast usually(in case I could pick up smth and not to search for other options in the early morning). But the reception man was very helpful at night with a taxi. So again, it’s a human factor😁

It could be much better! In general it is ok, the breakfast was a bit disappointing, hair with bread, again hair with the fruits… could improve the higiene…

Terrible wifi, basic breakfast doesn't worth it to include in your stay, you will find a better offer outside in downtown bars. The only plus is the view from the room and location. Unpersonalized service. GIRL AT THE BAR WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND Attentive but food very basic the cost is elevated. IN ADDITION to set old. RECEPTION DIDN'T do anything when I made a comment that internet was down and I was not able to deliver video conference. ROOMS WIDE TOILETRY very basic. EVEN WE GOT AN OFFER it was less than 2 star hotel. Appearance and it's location the only plus.

The building and the location are great, also the price is absolutely fair! Views from the room would also be very very cool if not for some construction going in currently (no note on web page what so ever) Room was ancient, bathroom had many yellow stains. Service was very basic, professional but that's it, no extra thrills. On check out date, the house keeping madamme started asking us at 9:00 when we will be finally leaving the room that we eventually paid until 12:00. Was okay, wouldn't necessarily come back.

Great location overall. The outside and common areas of the hotel where beautiful and full of character, in tune with the city vibe. Wow, what a find. Simply by another hotel's stuff up we headed over to Hotel Rua and could not have been more happy. We arrived on the day of the great European blackout and things everywhere were a little crazy. However, we were greeted with a calm friendly smile and it was a welcome sight. The staff here are absolutely amazing and helped us out with many great tips, from food to bars and sightseeing around the area. It's perfectly located for exploring and quiet and comfy for a good night's rest. We also had an amazing view of a local church and spanning out over the snow capped mountains. Don't miss this one👍👍

Average old hotel with great location, good ac and running water , excellent breakfast but customer service lacks some and does NOT have parking, they send you to park at colon parking which will cost you 20 euros x night. In my opinion pay a little more and get something with parking included.

Excellent, loved my room, comfortable and very well taken care of. Atmosphere was great, staff was very friendly and helpful; they made you feel at home. Rate was very reasonable to be located in a magnificent area of Salamanca (historic/ monumental area ) so close to the different academic buildings and other historic monuments.

Nice hotel in the center of Salamanca. Staff very helpful and polite. Location is top. There is paid parking nearby

The position of the hotel couldn't be better. The room was clean and cozy. Great bed and very nice bath. The best part of the stay (which made all the difference) was certainly the customer service. Mónica went the extra mile and made sure our stay would be the most personalized, easy and pleasant as possible. I totally recommend the hotel for anybody looking for a great experience in a nice city.

Excellent hotel right in the city centre with reasonable, nearby car parking. The location is excellent and everything is a short walk away. Huge, comfortable room with sofa and coffee table. Decor is a little unusual and modern but a very good room and bathroom. Highly recommended.

Furnished apartment building
INÉS LUNA SUITES (Tourist Apartments) offers modern and spacious accommodation in the heart of Salamanca, just a short walk from key attractions like the University of Salamanca and Plaza Mayor. The recently renovated aparthotel provides well-equipped studios and suites with amenities such as free WiFi, kitchen facilities, and family rooms.
Great apartment for a great value! We stayed for 2 days at Ines Luna Suites and ate very happy with our choice. The apartment is centrally located- 2 minutes walk to a big private hospital, 5 min walk to Plaza Mayor. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the small park San Francisco. The apartment is very well insulated and when you close the windows, there is no noise. It is very clean with quality linens, towels and comfortable mattress. The kitchen has the minimum basics. It is not a luxury accommodation but for me the most important is cleanliness. It is in an old building that has been newly renovated. The only drawback is that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Plamen C — Google review
Challenge to stay in Salamanca is to be central while minimizing street noise. This place is great: location, limited noise, super clean, offers space. All digital but in case of need you get a person on the phone immediately.

Excelent acommodation!! Family holidays. Everything have been perfect. Great location, just right in the city centre of the Salamanca. Quiet place, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartments are big enough for a family. My own one had an big living room, bedroom and bathroom. We have been like at home, very clean, and take cared of every single detail. Definitely will recommend it, even for a weekend!

(Translated by Google) I'm giving it a star because I can't leave it blank. We had a reservation for the weekend and due to the weather conditions of recent days, all of Spain on alert for floods, roads closed and rivers overflowing, we cannot travel by road. They DO NOT refund our money nor do they change the dates of the reservation (which would be the most logical thing in this case). On top of that, the attention on the phone has been TERRIBLE. Very bad management. They have preferred to earn a few euros and lose in a bad way some clients who go to Salamanca 10 times a year.

This boutique hotel, just a stone's throw away from Salamanca Cathedral, offers spacious rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hotel is also equipped with designer lamps and a sophisticated feel. Rooms overlooking the Plaza Mayor are also popular at this establishment.
The room overlooked the Plaza and the view was fabulous. The room was well-appointed, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
Stephen B — Google review
After a tremendous attempt to park the car in, we entered the rooms with little to cheer us up. The room had bunk beds with a ladder that looked like it was from the 70’s and a bathroom door with a gap so wide you could see the person inside. My mum showered in the dark in order to feel comfortable……. There was little room to fit our bags and 2 sockets to charge our items. In the morning our lights didn’t work and the tv also never worked. We survived because we stayed here only one night, but do yourself a favour and book somewhere with an overall better standard, the location barely makes up for all the flaws with this place.
Sophia S — Google review
People were great. Price and value for money were great. Location is fantastic. It needs maintenance. I can't fault the local staff. They can only spend money on paint, baseboards, walls in hallway that are bursting at the seams. I would go back. Right bow, it is "good", but it could be "grwat" with more corporate attention and resource allocation.
Alex B — Google review
The location of this hotel is excellent, right on the edge of Plaza Mayor. That's all the good that can be said. Renovated old building resulted in small, uncomfortable and cramped rooms. The bathroom is shameful. The hallways are barely wider than a suitcase. Everything is cramped: stairs, elevators, corridors, toilet, reception. Example of misuse of a space with the potential to be excellent. Now there is nothing left to do to fix it.
Cesar A — Google review
Good hotel in downtown Salamanca, right off plaza mator. Room in general was comfy even though the airco was kinda noisy. Walls and rooms corners needed to be cleaned better. Breakfast was quite tasty. Helpful young lady even though it was obvious she was overloaded, but always with beautiful smile Quality of breakfast was great. Good variety, cleanliness and always stocked
Esteban P — Google review
The room was very dirty. There were questionable hairs on the toilet seat when we arrived. I had to clean those off so I could go the bathroom. There were hairs on the bed, a greasy head stain on the headboard, and, either dog food, or poop on the floor in the bathroom! I let staff know when returning home late one night and they said I could have it cleaned or change rooms. It is obviously very inconvenient to change rooms at that hour, and too late to ‘clean it’, so I said no. He stated he would inform the day staff…next day we come back in the morning, walk up the four flights of stairs to our room and the key doesn’t work. So, back down. I figured maybe this was their way to get me to the desk so they could rectify the dirty room issue. Nope! She just gave me a new key and said nothing about it. She could have said they could give me a better room, free breakfast, credit to my account, something! But nope nobody tried to rectify this situation. Terrible customer service. Besides all this, the room was bad-right next to the elevator and so much noise! Also, adjust the closet door so it will stay open.
Lindsay D — Google review
Great room overlooking plaza mayor with balcony. Large room but furniture/fittings limit movement in room/ensuite slightly. Lack of plug sockets unhelpful. Dog friendly was why we chose this hotel and friendly reception was appreciated given we were arriving with a dog.

The hotel boasts an excellent location just a short stroll from both the train station and the vibrant tourist center, making it easy to immerse yourself in local culture.
Very nice and charming hotel in the town, only 10 minutes walking distance from Plaza Mayor n many beautiful historical attractions of Salamanca. Bathroom is a big surprise compared to the usual old type of European hotels. It's very modern n new facilities here with many amenities. Special appreciation and thanks to Ms Christine who helped our big group with all care in the breakfast this morning. Other staff n manager are also friendly and helpful. We had a very satisfied stay in the hotel. Would love to be here again.

Hotel Artheus is placed in a very good location, close to the city centre. It is slightly expensive and the rooms are small, but the interior of the lobby is very nice. Also, the staff are friendly. This hotel is recommended for couples staying in Salamanca for a weekend or a couple days.

Very amazing service, including housekeeping and room cleaning. Breakfast is so great, always hearty and with good music in the dining area. Location is very accessible by public transport. Close to city center but not chaotic. Very restful environment. Will highly recommend.

Great Hotel, Very Clean, and central AC, which was very important in that it kept the room very comfortable during a heat wave. Everything was great at this hotel, except the bed. It was as hard as a rock. Felt like I was sleeping on a board. It's a shame, as I would give this hotel a 5-star review if it were not for the beds. Its location was also great, many restaurants to choose from all within walking distance, Same for shopping and historical places. I would stay here again, just hope they fix the bed
Jay S — Google review
Pleasant staff at check-in. The hotel is close to a main road, but within walking distance of the centre. Rooms are reasonably good, if a little small, but the mattresses are hard. The shower over the power tub is good. The room safe is complicated to operate. Parking is difficult to access, narrow and steep under the building and expensive, €18.00 per day. Breakfast €12.00. There was a lovely panadaria opposite.

I love this hotel! It's reasonably priced, in the middle of everything, and exactly what I needed. The staff was wonderful and responsive. I was only able to make one night's reservation online but, once I arrived, they figured out how to accommodate me for my entire three-day stay in Salamanca. Truly the best people! I'm attaching photos of the view from my small window to give you a sense of how very central they are located. I hope to stay here again!

Very centrally located. The staff were helpful but our room overlooked a central space of air-conditioning units and not much else. Clean and adequate but the bathroom needed a refurb and please not tinned fruit salad at breakfast.
Marion H — Google review
The rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. However, the bathroom was designed terribly, breakfast wasn't very good(There was nothing with egg and bacon was so badly cooked and cold, I know Spanish people like sweet stuff for breakfast but for us egg is a must at breakfast, also, there were no fruits). Although these weren't very satisfying, the guy at the front desk made up for everything. *Ask Emilio for trip advise, where to visit, what to eat and where to eat, you won't regret it ;)
Jade — Google review
The location is really good might be a bit hard to find with a car because it’s in a pedestrian area, parking situation wasn’t ideal either as the hotel offers parking but it’s so small and probably full. but the main issue in my opinion is that most of the staff didn’t really speak good English and we struggled with that a lot ( i don’t really see why it would be hard to hire a fluent English speaker in a student town). I accidentally forgot my Apple Watch in the room and luckily the hotel found it we were first told that they will send it to us via post but then they refused to do that saying that it would cost too much even though i would’ve bared the costs anyhow The receptionist said it would cost 500€ but when checking the Spanish post the most expensive package was set at around 25€ Anyway we had no other choice but to go there again to get it in person
Nourhan S — Google review
The rooms are good and the location is excellent. I've been bit mean with my rating as the breakfast is poor. The quality of food is average but the coffee is terrible. The coffee machine uses instant coffee granules. I'd stay here again but room only next time

The Location is very close to all the major sights in Salamanca. Rooms are and clean and nice but show some signs of usage. Two fresh sets of towels are provided on a daily basis. Staff is helpful and very friendly but their English is a bit rough at times. Drawback is that you walls are thin and most noises from rooms around are audible.

Hotel Casino del Tormes is an elegant 4-star hotel located in the historical center of Salamanca, right by the Rio Tormes and near the Roman Bridge. The charming riverside building offers a cozy lobby lounge area and is just steps away from Casa Lis, cathedrals, and Plaza Mayor. The hotel provides great facilities and services to its guests, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the city's historic attractions on foot.
On-point rating 9,1 We stayed in room 107 which has a view on the river and small waterfalls. Parking can be done on the street which can be a challenge but you can park with 20% reduction (day price will be around 13,40) in a parking. Reception is super-friendly, when we arrived the breakfast room was open so we too a little cake. Because of this we where “punished” by the maid whom made us feel like we stole a bar of gold. Points to improve: - close breakfast room or do not make a fuss if someone takes a cake (which are dirty anyway) - fresh orange juice with breakfast
Robino V — Google review
It was too expensive, the room didn't have any view, the room didn't have windows, the air conditioning was not working, the room key was not working, and the staff didn't respect guests, Breakfast is not good, No car parking. Thank you.

Amazing location ,perfect spot to explore . The only thing that I was very disappointed with is that there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room . If I had been able to make myself a hot drink then the hotel would be 100% perfect .

The room I got was on ground floor off a side entrance, thus it was a bit bunker-like, not enough natural light. That being said, it WAS a nice room, good sized, and comfy bed. Staff is great at front desk, friendly. Nice spot, location, just a very short walk to cathedrals, Roman Bridge etc. Attractive. NO casino or bar or restaurant open as of this date, September 2022. I'd stay again, but ask for 2nd floor up.

Right in the center of town. Lovely place! The room is large and spacious, very clean. There is parking at the hotel. Lovely hosts. Highly recommend
Michelle B — Google review
Firstly, Javi was a brilliant host. Prior to our stay, we received some very good information - a Google maps link to avoid a closed road, and a list of good restaurants. Situated in the heart of the city, it is a quick walk to the many attractions Salamanca is rightly famous for. The underground car park is a real bonus for the old part of town, and Javi was on hand to guide me down the twisty ramp. The apartment has everything you need for a multi day stay. It is clean, comfortable, and with a couple of supermarkets a couple of hundred metres away, an ideal self-catering location. Thoroughly recommend a stay here and agree totally, with all the other highly rated reviews.

The one bedroom apt was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. And the shower was the BEST! would most definitely stay here again. The host Javi was extremely helpful and very detailed with instructions of how to get to our apt, where and how to maneuver are car in their parking garage and recommendations of what to do in the area. We arrived very late (10:00 pm) and it was extremely helpful to know we can also reach out to him at anytime if we had any trouble or had any questions. Loved

Lovely hotel. A warm welcome and very hospitable throughout my stay. Very clean, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas. I stayed in the loft room. Being 6foot was not a problem. Nice little hotel, perfect location. Beautiful interior. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast - ok. We stayed in the simplest room - it's the one with the slanted ceiling, and there's really not enough height haha, but ok for one-two nights when you don't plan to spend much time in the room. The only downside - the fridge was too loud, maybe get a new silent one.

Loved it, wished we stayed longer. Excellent value for $ (we stayed on a Sunday night in September so got a great rate). Lovely staff, great location (it’s 5 min away from Plaza Mayor, and I’m sure much quieter!). There is no parking on site but they give you close recommendations for closeby paid parking, but we found free nighttime parking about 3 min away (across the street and up the steps). Cathedral view from balcony was magical at night! Hydro massage shower in the room was a surprising and fun detail. Our room wasn’t super large, but I wouldn’t call it “tiny” either. It was adorable and had high ceilings and cool details. Definitely a good choice if you’re looking for something with a bit of personality.

Amazingly kind staff - The hotel is very clean, well located and very reasonable. That alone is enough reason, but I stayed their a week or so ago for a few nights, and had to check out a night earlier due to an emergency. Before I really even asked about a possible refund, the extremely kind member of staff sensed something bad had happened and offered to refund the last night in full, even though they were well within their right not to. It was an extremely kind gesture. Stay here when you go to Salamanca!!

When you look up MIcrotel Placentinos you might imagine that with that name and that price that you are taking a risk. You would be wrong. I was surprised to find it listed in Lonely Planet & Fodors with a star rating. Its on a quiet side street in the beautiful city of Salamanca and its worth its stars. My comfortable quiet room cost me only 70 euros - an absolute bargain! I loved the old brick walls & timbers of my room with enough room for me and my large bags. There was a spa tub in my room though I didn't get to use it because I showered late and didn't want to disturb anyone. The location was an easy walk to everything to see and do and eat. Great little hotel.

Van Dyck Cinemas is a popular spot in Salamanca, especially among students. The area offers a variety of dining options, from traditional eateries serving tapas to more contemporary establishments. The cinema itself may not be the largest in the city, but it's well-loved by locals and university-goers alike. Movie buffs can catch Hollywood and European titles there. While ticket prices range from 4 to 8 euros, Wednesdays offer the best deals.
The staff is great. The lobby has a nice waiting areas with tables and chairs and an instalation with Penelope Cruz on magazines covers. Nice touch. The theatre was comfortable with modern seats. GREAT PRICE!!!!

A little expensive with prices ranging from 4 to 8 euros depending on the day, with Wednesday's being the cheapest. If you're not a Spanish speaker ask about the movies shown in their original language. Halls are not big but they comfortable.

The hotel boasts an outdoor pool, bar, restaurant, and cafeteria along the banks of the Tormes River. This 4-star hotel offers a well-equipped spa and free Wi-Fi throughout.
Lovely place and surroundings. Staff super are so pleasant. Bit dearer than our normal stop off, but if we’d been up to using to the pool it would have more than covered the extra cost. Next time we’ll use the pool!

Dona Brígida is our usual stop over on our way to/from the UK. We have always found the Reception staff very helpful and when we asked for a kettle they duly obliged without fuss or charge. They also stored our Oat milk in the kitchen fridge as they don’t stock it themselves. The staff operating at the bar/restaurant do not speak English but we don’t speak Spanish so we can’t complain and we get by without too much difficulty. The beds are quite firm which does not bother us as we only stop for one night. Overall the hotel offers value for money accommodation together with an adequate range of breakfast choices.

The hotel was beautiful 😍 However, it was humid and hot. The lobby was quite cool, but the hallways and bedrooms were very stuffy and warm. The air conditioning in the room was off when we arrived, and it worked, but it was weak and barely took the edge off the humid and hot air even after being on all night. Luckily, we had a fan with us, so I was able to sleep somewhat comfortably. The beds were quite small and uncomfortable, which is common here in Spain, but these were just on the worse side of good for a twin bed, which wasn't expected at such a nice looking hotel. The front desk attendant was a bit rude when we arrived. She was clearly taking a break in the back room, late in the evening, and when we came to the front desk she began counting money into her drawer and when I asked her about my reservation she sort of snapped back at me to hold on a moment. I just thought it was a bit odd considering the lobby was quiet and it was late, that counting money should come second to greeting a guests arrival. That said, afterward, she was quite helpful sorting out the reservation as there was some confusion. We used booking.com, which offered a room for 2 adults and 1 child on our app, but showed only a room for 2 adults in her reservation system. She was able to get us the room as we had reserved it at no additional cost, which we appreciated. Perhaps considering working on improving the bedroom AC systems or offering cooling fans in the rooms to supplement your guests' comfort. I am from the USA, so I understand that we are more used to strong cooling systems being the norm, but 24 degrees C and humid is really an uncomfortable way to sleep without airflow. At least, that is my two cents! There was lots of parking and easy access to caravan travelers, which I loved. So if you are planning a stop here, maybe just bring a cooling fan along for the trip!

Lovely hotel. Rooms are very spacious. Nice area to go for a walk. Our medium sized dogs where welcome, they even brought a pillow and water and food bowl for our dogs. Our Border Collie preferred the hotelpillow over her own blanket we brought. Diner was nice, a good quality food for a decent price. Definitely a nice hotel. Maybe a little dated, but everything is clean, nothing broken. We loved our stay.

This hotel only provide hot water with a charge of two euro what a joke for a 4 star hotel. The receptionist ask me to change hotel if i want hot water i should bring my own kettle like its my fault. The other lady with proper manner said its because they forgot to switch on the boiler. This is the 4 star service you can get from them ask a customer to get out from their hotel just because they forgot to boil hot water.

Hotel Silken Rona Dalba is a down-to-earth hotel located in the historic center of Salamanca, offering classic rooms with views of the church. Guests have praised the modern and spacious rooms, along with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and generous breakfast. The friendly staff and convenient parking nearby have also been highlighted as positive aspects of this clean and well-located hotel.
Came for a conference a few weeks ago, and this was a great home base. While they are renovating and there's dust on many surfaces, the staff is doing a great job to manage it, and our room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Great location. Very helpful staff at reception. Very good breakfast provided with lots of selections to choose from for a very reasonable price. Wheelchair friendly entrance and room available. Good, secure parking available at a reasonable additional cost. Clean rooms with adequate facilities, comfy beds, soft towels...no complaints.

Ok so price was great, staff were really good on Check in, we had a room overlooking the front plaza and it was quite nice room was larger than I expected, fresh linen great bed. Yes the bathroom had a couple of older handles etc but look it’s a 3.5 star hotel stop been so picky. It was a great location to the plaza mayor and parking is next door for €13 a night secure. The ONLY major issue I had was the sounds from above like people dragging things around, not sure if it’s coming from dining room, but the sounds are loud like dragging tables, maybe first floor issues…can’t hear anything out side but the in hotel sounds can be a bit loud in morning if your a sensitive sleeper, I just put in ear plugs. Other than that I would stay again it was really good location and good service and price . Wifi was great , and we could have more than 2 devices .

I’m staying here right now. It’s a budget hotel. I have a rear sided room. No view. Full on construction happening outside my window. Room has No electric kettle. If you need hot water you go to reception and she gives you a tiny kettle. There appears to be no heating in the rooms. It’s Oct and the rooms are freezing cold. The bathrooms have no hooks to hang clothes.

The rooms are very comfortable, clean and warm in winter. I found the bed to be really comfortable and my wife and I had two pillow each. I slept like a baby. The breakfast is continental with bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages. The coffee machine makes a good coffee. It was our first time in Salamanca as we live in Mijas in Malaga province but I would be happy to come back to stay in this hotel. The staff are very friendly.

You would think that smoking rooms were no longer an option in 2018 but this hotel put us in one. After many hours of open windows it was ok but the next day we still had our pillows changed because waking up to the smell of an ashtray is not very pleasant. The beds are small. No more than 180 long, so your feet can get air. And double beds are just two beds and no queen size. The location was great. Near everything. The amenities were sufficient. The room although a little worn was clean.

Great location. Ask at recepción if parking is available (small garage near hotel @ 12€ 24 hrs). Hotel is not the cleaness: fridge in room dirty, bath had stains, carpet under sink also stained. Ok hotel for a short stay.

This simple, unpretentious hotel offers comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi access. It is situated only a short walk from the city centre, making it perfect for travellers looking to explore Salamanca. Rooms are bright and functional with all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay.
I’ve had an amazing stay in a very unfortunate situation of my car breaking down near Salamanca. My car assistance booked it for me but let me say, Sr. José has helped so much! From amazing restaurant recommendations to what to do in my car situation. He is my hero! If I am ever in the area will gladly book my stay there!

Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper. The walls might as well have been made of paper to the point we had someone in the room next to us coughing and blowing their nose all night and it sounded like they were in the bed with us. The room itself was a good size with a good bathroom and had a nice terrace with views to the town although the AC had no remote so we had the choice of windows open and mosquitoes in or windows closed and mosquitos out. The bed was comfortable and the TV had Netflix etc. Free street parking outside the hotel in a quiet area. Close to town via bus or car. Check In was smooth and rooms use combo lock instead of keys. Main take away for me unfortunately was the noise. I found it very difficult to get any sleep when I could hear everything going on around me.

For a budget hotel, this was a very nice stay. The room was an adequate size, clean and warm. The shower was powerful and hot. We had an overnight stay here en route to our ferry at santander. Our small dog was made welcome for a 9 euro additional charge. We also paid 12 euro for garaged parking - worth it for us as we had expensive electric bikes on the back of our car as well as a top box. There is also free street parking in the vicinity if you don't want to pay. It's a 35-minute walk if you want to go to the city centre. There is breakfast available, but we didn't have any, so I can not comment on the quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant overnight stopover. Thank you, Hotel Eurowest!

The hotel room was perfect and value for money was spot on . The breakfast however was shocking... Also we had traveled up the Algarve and there was no member of staff site. We'd to ring an office in Barcelona who let us in but the carpark was closed so we had to find alternative parking.. we booked through Agoda and the hotel tried to send a check-in link through the site but it was blocked... Agoda and the hotel need to resolve this in future!

For the price this place far exceeds expectations. The rooms are a good size, well kept clean and good bathrooms and air-conditioning. There is a bar but not open when we were there. There's a mini bar in the room with beer/coke at €1.50 a can so not unreasonable. Don't let them charge you for parking. It's free on the street and they don't reserve a space. Only complaint.

Comfortable room. Would have been nice if there were only 3 beds for 3 people instead of 4 as the extra bed took up a lot of space. Good sized bathroom with nice shower. Friendly staff. Good location for visiting Salamanca, about a 20 minute walk into the centre. Ideal for dogs with gravel and grass areas just across the road from the hotel.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast in an intimate setting, ensuring a pleasant start to their day. The friendly staff is always on hand to provide assistance, making check-in smooth and welcoming.
The Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the old town just a few minutes walk from all the sights. On checking in the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had was lovely it was very big with great views over the market square. The room was very clean and tue bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. If I had one complaint it would be that the coffee at breakfast was very weak and not pleasant. However saying this I do like strong coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Salamanca

I definitely dont recommend this hotel. Very poor customer service, with receptionist without any willingness to support you in case of something wrong happens with your reservation We had also a lot of noise once the smoke fire alarm run for long time at 4am waking everyone up, and hotel crew knocking heavily each door to find out who smoke in the room. We had our two children sleeping in a very bad sofa bed. Hotel room needs serious renovation, the bathroom has bad smell and pillows are uncomfortable. The cleaning lady used very smelling mop that left a horrible smell in the room. Location is good but also very noise with fight of drunk people in the mid of night

I don't have the patience to write up a long story about how miserable this has been for us, but we chose this hotel specifically because it offered parking, and we weren't informed until we were on our way that they actually don't have parking. Once we finally found a place for our vehicle and marched across the city with our luggage, we were less than delighted to find our room smells like animal urine, does not match the photos on our booking of a split level room with a seating area, and the tv from the adjoining room is clearly audible here in our room nearing midnight. On top of this, despite the listing saying free breakfast, the receptionist charged us additional fees. I haven't been this disappointed in an accommodation in a long time.

Hotel was beautiful, bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Unfortunately the location was a blessing and a curse. The nightlife was quite noisy with people walking on the street, yelling and throwing away wine bottles at 4am which echoed through our room. I'd recommend ear plugs if you're easily awakened.

Staff is very nice, rooms are a bit small but very clean. Everyone we had any interaction with was very nice, reception was exceptional. Has a small but very cozy terrace on the last floor of the hotel, good for a bit of rest and to catch a bit of sun while sitting down. Breakfast is also good. You just have to book the time you wanna go because it is quite a small room but it did not bother us at all. If breakfast is not included, it has an extra cost of 10€ which I find fair for the breakfast itself.

Hotel perfectly located in center of Salamanca just by the market and offering parking service. Staff is really amazing always offering help. The rooms are nice and quite big despite a bit old to be honnest. The problem is rooms are absolutely not soundproof and at any hour of day or night you would hear any sound coming from the street, the market just in front, or nearby room... Its basically impossible to sleep or to rest!

(Translated by Google) Price quality very good. Quiet area very close to the center, just across the Roman Bridge, it is 10 minutes away. Very kind attention. Somewhat old but clean rooms, very comfortable bed and shower with good pressure and very hot water, just enough to spend the night and see the city. There is enough parking on the street, I parked at the door. Cons and that's why I don't give it a 5, the hot air doesn't work very well, the walls are made of paper, it has its own cafeteria that should be more flexible in schedules but it's fine.

There is no onsite staff. The is very little sound insulation from the other rooms. It's basically a house with the bedrooms converted to 'hotel rooms'. I would recommend staying in a hostal instead of this place, it is overpriced for what you get. I'm a little upset once I entered my room because it is not what I expected, I wanted something more luxury but I got a bedroom in a house. Also the view is not great

Extremely easy and efficient booking service. Paco answered straight away with an excellent price and helped create the perfect booking by recommending restaurants , parking and payment options. Throughout our stay he was attentive and easy to reach with any questions we had. The recommendations were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment (6) had multiple towels and blankets which is always a difficulty of mine so I was thrilled about that. This particular suite had many amenities such as netflix , hangers, fireplace and balconies. Clean tidy and high quality linen. The kitchenette is sufficient for tea coffee and toast with some complimentary coffee capsules and muffins. Location cannot be better. I'd recommend and visit again

(Translated by Google) A TEMPLE OF ALMOST CATHEDRAL SIZE TODAY ISOLATED FROM ITS NEIGHBORHOODS. The church of the Santísima Trinidad Nueva or vulgo "Iglesia Nueva del Arrabal" in Salamanca (Spain) was built for the expanding neighborhoods on the other side of the Tormes when the Barrio de la Vega was being finished, and the old neighborhood still existed around the disappeared slaughterhouse with low houses with corral and other buildings. The growing expansion of the city of Salamanca on the other side of the Tormes, in the Trastormesino suburb, announced a growing population in the area. This large temple was built for this population, although the development of construction roads ended up isolating the temple from the traffic routes of the neighborhoods it had to serve. The temple was planned around 1946 but the construction was prolonged in the following decade due to delays, reaching until 1959. It was directed by the Salamanca architect Genaro de No in two campaigns: from 1947 to 1950 the foundations were laid and the walls were raised to about two or three meters high. After a long break, the final campaign of works began between 1954 and 1959. As we said, at that time the Virgen de la Vega neighborhood and the suburb around the slaughterhouse already existed. Then the San José neighborhood and the Tormes neighborhood would be created. The new church inherited the dedication of the old one from the neighborhood of the suburb of the bridge: Santísima Trinidad vulgar "Iglesia Vieja del Arrabal" until this old church would be reopened for worship on December 23, 2006. Previously, on December 17 of that In 2006, the Brotherhood of the Christ of Love and Peace had transferred its two images, the Holy Christ of Love and Peace, an image of the baroque crucified man dating from the 17th century and which came from this old church, and that of Mary Our Mother , candlestick image from 1987, work of Hipólito Cid Pérez. The image of the Virgin of the Incarnation was also transferred. Temple built in the golden sandstone of Villamayor with three naves finished in a straight apse on the sides and a polygonal apse in the central one and separated by arches decorated with pilasters set on pillars and crowned by flat Corinthian capitals towards the cornice that runs along the main nave, and from where The four transverse arches that delimit the sections of this central nave start. It has been restored in roofs, crownings, cornices... a few years ago by the city council. The façade of the church has quadrangular towers framing it with two superimposed bell tower bodies and covers of hemispherical vaults with lanterns topped by weather vanes, and pinnacles with finishing balls in the upper corners. These bell towers are reminiscent of the great bell tower of the New Cathedral or those of the Clerecía church. In this church the Brotherhood of Christ of Love and Peace was founded on February 2, 1971 and was its canonical headquarters until the old church was reopened for worship. Today the temple houses a large part of the Salamanca Holy Week parades and the Cáritas offices and accommodations in the housing building. In the presbytery, the large mural by Genaro de No Hijo stands out. Genaro de No padre, around similar dates, built the parish church of Guijuelo dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption. Almost twin temples if it weren't for the materials: golden stone from Villamayor in Salamanca and without an altarpiece, since the altarpiece is the fresco. Equipped with two bell towers; granite and plaster in Guijuelo, and with a single tower as well as an interior painted in color, instead of whitewash in Salamanca or the granite in the Guijuelo temple and the stone from Villamayor and Arabic tile in Salamanca. Furthermore, when you see the interior, you can see that the church of the Santísima Trinidad de Salamanca or popular "Nueva del Arrabal" is almost twins with the parish church of Na Sa de la Asúnción in Guijuelo. Below are some old photos from Holy Thursday, April 16, 1987 at the premiere of the great female step of María Nuestra Madre with the stature of the deceased Zamorano imagero professor and professor Hipólito Pérez Calvo.

It is located next to the Tormes River and with views of the Salamanca Cathedral and the Roman Bridge. It is essential to see the Holy Thursday procession that leaves and arrives at this church. In good weather you can take a pleasant walk along the banks of the Tormes. (Original) Iglesia moderna construida en 1952 para sustituir a la vieja que se encontraba en mal estado. It stands next to the Tormes River near the Roman Bridge. The highlight of the interior is the apse, with paintings by the Salamanca painter Genaro de No. In 2006, due to the poor condition of the church, it was deconsecrated. There is a plan for the building to house the Salamanca Museum of Sacred Art and Holy Week, after the necessary renovation. Lo más destacado del interior es el ábside, con pinturas del pintor salmantino Genaro de No. En 2006, debido al mal estado de la iglesia, se desconsagró. Everything was perfect. There were 9 of us. We loved the place, right in the center of the city but at the same time so quiet. Spacious apartments, beautifully decorated. Laura is an excellent hostess. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely TERRIBLE and UNCLAR checkin instructions. No pre-checkin instructions sent and unable to enter building lobby for self checkin. (No lobby door code given and had to call Host.) Made reservation on Airbnb and minimal instructions sent via different communication platform (WhatsApp). Advise other travelers to avoid this accommodation.

The website allows you to make a reservation directly and see the availability of each apartment. They are very well located, on a very quiet street, close to the center, with many amenities nearby: pharmacy, supermarkets, shops, parking, bars and restaurants, a bookstore, hairdressers, etc. The apartments are high-quality and very well maintained. The facilities are well-maintained and new. The beds are comfortable; the sheets and pillows are soft and quality. The towels are pleasant. The heating works perfectly. The kitchen is fully equipped. The appliances are fully functional and new. The furniture and decor are very pleasant and comfortable. The building has been renovated with great care and attention to detail. There are lockers in the basement. The check-in system is simple; everything can be done from your email, which provides you with virtual keys. You can use them to open the entrance and the apartment with a code or with your phone. Once you enter the apartment, you have physical card keys that always work perfectly. Telephone assistance is available 24 hours a day, and they are very friendly and efficient. They resolve everything immediately, as they have all the information and details of your reservation. It's easy to cancel your reservation up until the day before check-in. The property has a large elevator, and I didn't notice any architectural barriers. Everything is clean, and if you wish, you can request additional cleaning of the apartment, as well as ironing, drying, or whatever you need. The owner always showed great desire to please. Due to personal circumstances, our stay in Salamanca was long, so we used different apartments in the Prisma Suites building one after another, and everything was always perfect. The apartments make you feel at home. (Original) Apartamentos de calidad, totalmente recomendables. Hay apartamentos de diversos tamaños, a elegir, y las fotos de su web se ajustan a la realidad. Of the 50 or so photos of the apartments they manage, 3 showed our apartment. Situated in Calle Arco I would give thumbs up for location, good washing machine, general cleanliness and assistance from apartment manager who was great when it came to directing us to this tricky spot to get to. However, I have to give big thumbs down to the heavy smell of cigarettes that permeated the apartment and the bedding. I had to air the apartment thoroughly as well as the pillows, sheets and blanket. The drying rack, as detailed in the list of amenities was in fact a few wires strung across an outdoor cupboard which contained cleaning supplies. Here again the manager was excellent in getting us a proper outdoor rack we could use on the little terrace. The apartment at Calle Arco is ok but its location is excellent.
