The rooms were lovely. The bathrooms reeked of sewage, I think that was coming from the sink. The hallways are dark, dreary. The bar staff was very kind and spoke good English. The receptionist with short hair was very helpful. The other receptionist was not nice. I am an American citizen born and raised, with Hispanic descent and, I'm lesbian. It was obvious this female receptionist did not want to help me. She spoke English..I asked her if the massages were part of the hotel price..she looked at me..bulging eyes, as if I was a fool. I repeated my question, perhaps she didn't understand me. She did. She was obviously bigoted. Many people around this town are. Beware if you are of color or LGBT..this area is not safe. The entire hotel and area has horrible energy. Dark. I never felt safe once there. Except when my room was locked and I barricaded the doors. I've traveled to a few countries..never felt this at any hotel or location.

The hotel is so close to being very nice. It's clean, honestly beautiful, and the spa is gorgeous. However, my experience left a lot to be desired. At the spa, I was only given one small towel for my massage, the saunas, and the hot tub—there were no others available. After my massage, I ended up with a terrible bruise (see picture). The room had its issues too. The air conditioning didn’t work, and when I asked the front desk for help, they rudely offered to send fans, saying that was all they could do. To top it off, the shower didn’t drain properly. This place has the potential to be amazing, but it needs to address these issues to truly offer a great experience.

We went to this hotel for a classtrip and it was over all very nice. We had the room 1 that was pretty spacious even for 3 people. Only the bathroom/shower was a bit small. The food was ok and the breakfast buffet was basic but good. The best part was the hotels cat, named Luschka i believe. Such an affectionate little fluffball. As a warning to my fellow allergic people, she likes to sneak into the room 1 at night. We had the window wide open in the first night and in the morning she slept snuggeled up in one of our beds (this is our fault for leaving the window open and totally avoidable if you close it). But we let her in every night because she was just sooo cute ;)

Perfect stay. I’ve been there for around 5 days. The employees are very kind and helpful. The whole hotel atmosphere was very pleasant and somewhat luxurious. The room was very nice and had everything a person might need. The spa was amazing just like the massage!

The main ground floor lobby is air conditioned but the guest rooms are not. OK I understand this is Europe and not all places are air conditioned, but at least a fan should be in every room. Our room had neither. Breakfast is very limited compared with other hotels in Poland. For example, they serve pancakes covered in thick cream. Why not just have the pancakes available and the cream available seperately and let the guests decide how much cream they want? There is NO fridge in the hotel room. When the room is not air conditioned, keeping some cold water in the room's fridge would be really a great idea. But this hotel doesn't have that either. Restaurant on the ground floor was very good. We did not try the spa facilities so I can't comment on that.

Hotel was not great, the room had air conditioning on a timer, mini bar was locked, small beds, shower drain was clogged, room service skipped us TWICE. But I will admit the breakfast was alright

The hotel is perfectly located near the old town, it’s clean and personnel are very friendly. There are good restaurants nearby as well as many shops. The room was a bit smaller than I expected, but it was clean. The only real issue I had was having no refrigerator in the room. Other than that, everything was fine. Also, the food in the restaurant was outstanding.

That personal touch really stood out. The breakfast buffet is exceptional—the best I’ve ever had at a Hampton. If you’re used to the fast food-style breakfasts in U.S. Hamptons (with paper plates and plastic cutlery), this is on a completely different level. The location is also perfect. It’s just a 5-minute drive to Auschwitz and within walking distance of the charming town square, which offers a refreshing contrast to the somber experience of visiting the camp. From the front desk to the F&B team, everyone contributed to a memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a strategic and ideal base in Oświęcim.

A decent three start hotel in Oswiecim, located a few minutes from Auschwitz. A clean hotel with friendly staff, geat beds with a spacious shower and a much appreciated air conditioning in the summer. Unfortunately no fridge in the room. Breakfast is included. Parking is possible in the garage under the hotel at an additional charge of €15,- per night, however free parking is available close to the hotel during the weekend.

Everyone was super friendly and spoke English which really made it super easy the rooms were spotless smelled good the entire property was clean the food 👌 was top knock the breakfast bar was better then I have ever seen anywhere in the us. We will 100 percent be back

This hotel is terrific! It is located near the marketplace, and is very close to many museums in the area. It is short trip by taxi to Auschwitz and the train station. Perfect location to meet your needs. The rooms are very nice, well maintained, and have daily housekeeping service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Anna, who works the desk in the mornings, was very helpful with getting me taxis and giving me great ideas for the places to see during my visit! Once again, the whole staff deserves credit for the incredible stay I had in Oswiecim. Of note, in addition to the free breakfast, they have an excellent dinner menu and bar for your evening dining needs. I recommend the pork tenderloin, as it was one of my favorite dishes. Last but not least, would I stay here again? Absolutely

A nice and clean little Hotel near the Center of Oswiecim. The rooms are clean and they are vary between small bedrooms and hole Appartments with a kitchen. The beds are okay but not so comfortable. The room comes with an air conditioner because the heating does not work very well and if it's cold outside (we had -24 degrees) the rooms are cooling down very fast. So the air conditioner needs to work 24/7 but is also verly loud. The breakfast was very good and fresh! There is a bus stop just 2 minutes away so you could get easily to the Sightseeing points or the mainstation.

Just a 5 minute drive from Auschwitz, it is a great place to stay if visiting Auschwitz. The rooms are huge and quite nice. My only comment against the family rooms are that there is a little mezzanine with a very low down ceiling. The air-conditioning however doesn't cool down this area so it heats up making it very difficult to sleep. The staff on the otherhand are super super friendly. We needed to be up early in the morning and they ensured that breakfast was up and ready earlier than usual just for us, which we highly appreciate.

Was staying in an apartment. Spacious and done to a great standard. There was everything we needed: hob, fridge, kettle, sink, towels, toiletries. Complementary bottled water. Good breakfast, need to pay extra, but it is a good value for money. Free parking. Will stay again.

Amazing breakfast! This is the highlight of the hotel. Rooms are quite spacious and clean with a modern touch and location convenient to reach Auschwitz museum. One thing they can improve is the customer service. Receptionist looked quite bothered when we asked her a couple of things. Maybe because was late and she couldn’t speak English very well.

This hotel was very disappointing. It’s located well out of the town centre. The room my wife and I were given was designed to be a room for a single disabled person (non ambulatory), while nothing is wrong with that it was set up for two people. The double bed was just pulled away from the wall and the bedding provided was too small for two people. There was no power outlets on the right hand side of the bed as it was only designed for one occupant. Other issues included the WIFI connection constantly dropping out and no bar fridge. If you’re room is located on the rear side of the hotel building be aware that there is logistics loading dock which starts up in the early morning hours. On the plus side there is a supermarket located across the car park and a good breakfast provided.

We couldnt sleep in the morning in the rooms of 22 and 21 because the staff’s door is in front of ours and they are consantly moving, chatting, open and close the door loud. I even asked them to be more silent, they were as loud as before. So no sleeping after 8.00 pm. Forget about it. This was a very negative experience. Otherviwe the rooms are ok, the food is ok and the portions are huge. But this sleeping thing was terrible. We were tired, we drove a very long distance here, so sleeping was cruical for us.

Staffs in Old Tree Villa are amazing. Some had problem speaking in English, but most of them were very helpful and caring. The view from room on the 2nd floor is so calm and nice. - No fridge - No cold water in the room (one still and one sparkling water) - Clean room - Clean area - Hard to find the place but very close to the city. - Skewers(Dinner in the restaurant) was awesome!!! - Breakfast was good enough It was very pleasant visit! (And they have a small cat 😸)

If there is a place to stay or eat in Oświęcim, then this the ,,Old three villa". Extraordinary restaurant with top quality traditional dishes and a wonderful taste! I will definetely come back here!

Not a bad hotel as such but a little bit noisy due to the thin walls in the rooms. The beds were also not that comfortable. We were welcomed in a friendly way which was a big plus but despite that I wouldn't say this is a hotel I would recommend if there are other options available to your trip. The location is of course a big plus if you are travelling for the sights nearby which was the case for us. We skipped the breakfast so can't say anything about that.

We stayed in this excellent guesthouse for two nights on our stay in Oswiecim to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau. Great rooms, friendly and helpful staff, brilliant value and an unbeatable location: easy to reach foot from the station and five minutes' walk from the museum entrance. Highly recommended.

This place is perfect if you’re going to do the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, within a 5 minute walk. The place is updated and very clean. My only complaint is there is No A/C, and the room was unbearable to be in during the day, after our tour, and we didn’t need any sheets or blankets at night. Buy your own breakfast and store in kitchen fridge in the evening, which was perfectly ok with us. The kitchen is small, with more than four people, but it served us well. Grocery stores and a excellent mini kebab restaurant just around the corner.

I and my son stayed here from 5 Feb to 8 Feb 2023. It's a very beautiful compact cozy place. Rooms are big, superbly clean. Bathroom is big and spik and span. Heating in the room and bathroom is wonderful. Comfortable beds. It was -8 and -10, but inside the room cozy and comfortable Fully equipped kitchen with all gadgets and it was enjoyable to make your own breakfast. You can comfortably sit and eat. We could also park our car safely inside the hotel parking. It's very close to Auschwitz 1. If you are visiting it then remember to cross the park exactly opp to the hotel gate. The park connects to a road, walk until it's end and then turn left and in a few minutes you are at Aushwitz 1 entrance. First time we made a mistake and went left from the hotel gate on the main road, but that road leads to the back of the Auschwitz 1 which is a staff entrance, so we had to continue walking for another 10 mts to come to It's entrance, this is to be avoided. Really nice and clean room, well equipped, we got water and tea on room and ther is well equipped shared kitchen with wending machine and big fridge. You can park easily here. Owner is really kind and helpfull. If there is any con it would be a little bit noisy road in front of house

I really wanted to love this place. The location is great, and the staff were absolutely incredible, the kindest I have met in all my travels through Europe. The owner and manager in particular went above and beyond, genuinely kind and helpful in every way. Unfortunately, the most important part of any stay is sleep, and this is where it completely fell apart. The room was unbearably hot, by far the hottest I have experienced in my year of traveling. There was no air circulation, no fan, and no functioning AC even though it was listed as available. I sweated through the night and could not rest at all. To make matters worse, there is no staff on site in the evenings, so there was nobody to address the issue when it mattered most. The room itself was also extremely small. Normally I would not have minded, but in the stifling heat it felt even more cramped and uncomfortable. It was so bad that I ended up leaving early because sleeping there was impossible. When I asked for a refund, it was denied on the basis that I had already stayed, which felt disappointing given the clear gap in quality. I wish I could give this a higher rating because the people were truly wonderful, but the heat and lack of resolution made it an unworkable stay. Sadly, I would not return.

My stay in Polin House was amazing. The place is very clean, with easy access to the city centre and transport. Miss Agnieszka accommodated my late arrival and prepared superb breakfast! Highly recommended for long and short stays!

A fantastic place to stay. The Amber apartment where we stayed is fab very clean and comfortable . Easy to get to the town and plenty of cafes and shops for everything you need. If you’re going to Auschwitz this is the place to stay.

Perfectly located a short walk from the station and from Auschwitz 1. We stayed four nights in the Emerald flat which is lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. OWNER IS RACIST AND ABUSIVE. VIEW PHOTOS FOR EVIDENCE. I made the unfortunate decision of staying here, booked via a third party site. on 26 April. In my booking, I have clearly stated that my arrival time will be between 8pm - 9pm Poland time on 12 June. On the third party site, it' clearly stated that " The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk". Well, that's not the case. We arrived to a locked front door, with no means of getting in. I searched through my emails and found a WhatsApp mobile number. I sent a WhatsApp at 8.56pm Poland time and I also called. The person (presumably owner) who answered first stated that I didn''t have a booking. When I told him that I had booked in April, he then suddenly 'found' my booking and said that he had emailed me check-in instructions. He certainly had not, and that's the he sent me the instructions via WhatsApp. Which meant entering a code to a locked box to retrieve the key. To my horror, he had 'upgraded' me - which meant an upstairs unit! I had specifically booked a ground floor unit as I knew that I will have significant luggage on me. The confirmation email also stated ground floor. When I tried to ring him again, he refused to answer. Hence we had to drag out suitcases upstairs. Once we were already INSIDE the room, then he sends us the third party site check-in instructions, and that was at 9.14pm. The unit has a horrible 'wooden' smell in the bathroom. There is no fan or AC in the bedroom. There is a tiny AC in the living room, however, a remote was not provided. When I mentioned this in my review at Booking.Com, owner claimed that AC had to be paid for. No where on the third party site nor on the confirmation email does it state that AC has to be paid for. After leaving my honest review for him on the third party site on 22 June, he sends me a racist and abusive msg to my phone. Do yourself a favour. Don't book here. Owner is lying through his teeth on the third party booking sites.

Absolutely fantastic and well run apartment, very welcoming, clean and informative owners. The apartment is 10 minutes walk away from Auschwitz Berkenhau visitors centre, there is little point in taking a bus as it will take you twice as long and the walk takes you alongside a very pretty park. The main train station - Krakow Glowny is also 10 minutes walk away or a short taxi ride. Finally, there is a supermarket, slightly hidden on the opposite side of the road which is perfect for supplies ☺️

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Kitchen and apartment with all the needed utilities. Also very nice that you can stream from your phone to the TV. The owner is very helpful and really wants you to have the most comfortable stay. We had a little issue with the heating and after we could not solve it ourselves, we decided to call the owner for help late in the evening, this wasn't an issue. Through the phone we got a tip we could try and it luckily worked. The location was very convenient for our purpose of the visit ( visit camp Auschwitz-Birkenau and visit Energylandia). Checking in and out was very easy as well. Definitely recommended.

All in all we had an excellent night. The facilities of the motel were sufficient and beautiful. I will never forget the coffee I drank in the garden with the chirping of birds. I would like to thank the business lady friend for her help and interest.
