Nature & Parks
Pittville Park, established in 1825, is the largest ornamental park in Cheltenham. It features playgrounds, a boating lake, and an aviary. Visitors can also explore the iconic Pittville Pump Room to sample spa waters. The park's picturesque lakes and boating facilities make it popular among families and nature enthusiasts. Additionally, the area offers various festivals and stylish bars for entertainment.
Fantastic large park with an amazing playground for kids of all ages. Birds and rabbits, toilets, cafe, boat house, bridge, and nice walking paths. We found free street parking easily by the pump room.

Lovely park! Although the landscaping is not very intentionally cared for, the natural landscape is beautiful and makes for a lovely evening walk. There’s a large playground for kids of most ages. Perfect dirt or paved paths for running. The bathrooms were closed when we went around 7 pm
Sarah B — Google review
Pittville Park is such a lovely spot in Cheltenham and definitely worth a visit. It’s one of those places that has a bit of everything and feels welcoming every time you go. The park itself is really well kept, with loads of space to walk, relax, or just sit on a bench and watch the world go by. The big lake with the swans and ducks is beautiful – it’s so peaceful just strolling around it. One of my favourite parts is the little animal area. They’ve got rabbits, birds and a few other animals there, which is such a nice surprise and brilliant if you’ve got kids with you. There’s also a great play area with plenty for children of different ages, so it’s perfect for a family day out. The café by the lake is lovely too – good coffee, ice creams, and snacks, and it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. There’s always a really friendly atmosphere around the park, and you can tell how much care goes into looking after it. Whether you’re walking the dog, meeting friends, or just want some fresh air, Pittville Park is a fantastic place to spend time.
Didito D — Google review
Went here recently to meet a friend and go for a walk. We had a lovely walk around the park and had a coffee from the coffee hut. Sat on one of the many benches for quite some time just chatting away. Such a delightful park.
Dan T — Google review
Fantastic place, grew up here. Played a huge part in our childhood, love it!
Terri W — Google review
Great place for a picnic with plenty for the kids to do, a quick visiting to the animals is a must rabbits and birds and when the kids are tired or you just need a coffee you can stop at the little shop they have prices are what you would expect and parking can be tricky
James L — Google review
It’s a beautiful, well-kept space perfect for a relaxing day out. It offers picturesque lakes, lovely gardens, and a great play area for kids. There’s also a café to enjoy a snack while taking in the scenery. Whether for a peaceful walk, a picnic, or family fun, Pittville Park is a must-visit in Cheltenham.
Rosmi D — Google review
A chance to come to Cheltenham is always a pleasure. Just a friendly match against "the Robins" to watch. So.....with time to spare, I ventured to this park. Very tranquil with families enjoying themselves, children riding their bike's and even some permit fishing. The smaller lake is even quieter and perfect for solitude. A superb children's play area, a cafe make it a great location to spend a few hours....

The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum, also known as The Wilson, underwent expansion in 2013 to include new galleries for fine art and touring exhibitions. It offers a year-round collection featuring art, furniture, textiles, and historical artifacts. Named after Antarctic explorer Edward Wilson, the museum provides educational opportunities for children to learn about his adventures to the South Pole. Additionally, it showcases the history and heritage of the Arts and Crafts Movement with links to the Cotswolds.
We visited today to see the Common Ground Exhibition & we loved it. The exhibition itself is stunning & the cafe downstairs is great. Amazing cake & coffee, also dog friendly in the cafe which was great as well had 3 dogs with us so it gave us a good base to settle and take turns looking around the exhibition. One thing I would have liked to have seen was a small shop or few items to do with the exhibition that were available to buy? It was a shame we couldn’t get a souvenir as we would have.
Jen — Google review
Houston, we have a problem. Yours truly visited the Ashmolean museum two days ago. I believe it's only natural to offer some sort of comparison between this and that. Chalk and cheese, my friends. The Wilson tried hard and has some wonderful exhibits but it's nowhere near being in the same league as its cousin in Oxford. Worth a visit if you're looking to fill an hour or two (or half an hour, which is more likely.)
Bill R — Google review
We visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet which was nice. There is no parking at the venue so we found a pay and display at Cheltenham Walk car park (about 5 minutes away) which cost £5.00 for 3 hours. We initially entered the library by mistake (as there was a museum sign outside) but the venue is next door through "The Kitchen" entrance. We had a coffee and hot chocolate here which cost £7.50. Unfortunately the coffee didn't taste very nice. Luckily the venue was free to enter. The exhibits were interesting enough for a few hours but they won't blow you away. The top floor had no displays on at the time as they were changing exhibitions when we visited.
Louise T — Google review
What a disappointment. Fantastic collection of Arts & Crafts furniture poorly displayed in a large modern building given over to cafe, play spaces and esoteric exhibitions. I had looked forward to visiting. Whoever masterminded this " makeover" should be ashamed. By far the most interesting highlight was a small storage cupboard where one could glimpse real treasures half-hidden away from public view. A sad travesty.
Peter E — Google review
Interesting, it worth an hour or more ... of your time to visit, nice exhibits. There's a coffee /snacks shop ground floor, the lady was very nice to "host" 😃 our shoppings 🛍 while we visited. And don't forget to be kind before exit and make a donation to support culture. Every little helps.
Calin V — Google review
A relatively small collection on display at the moment because they are in the middle of a major renovation. The Common Ground installations were very moving.
Nina L — Google review
As a Morris dancer I enjoyed the Common Ground exhibition, with its use of Morris from 18th and 21st centuries. My first visit.
Zirconia 2 — Google review
The volunteer lady at the entrance was lovely, the loos were plentiful and clean and the lift worked as hoped for. The museum was the most underwhelming I have ever encountered. If Cheltenham has a history you would never learn about it here. The arts and craft furniture is probably of national importance but if you want information then sort through the heavy noisy metal plates with information in small print. Likewise the Wilson archive is hard to find with no attempt at telling the story of this remarkable person, two stuffed penguins next to some thrush eggs? Not a single mention of why the town looks the way it does, the architecture or the lives of the people who made it happen.

Sandford Parks Lido is a popular public swimming facility located in Cheltenham, offering both adults and children the opportunity to enjoy outdoor pools and snacks. The lido features an Olympic-sized heated outdoor pool that is open from March to October, providing a perfect setting for exercise or relaxation. In addition to regular swimming sessions, the lido also offers cold water swimming sessions during winter, Royal Lifesaving Society courses, yoga classes, and even dog swims.
A beautiful lido. It has a really big main pool with half sectioned for lane swimming during the open swim session, so you can still swim. There is a slide on the open part. Great cafe, which is cheap. Fantastic ticket value for the facilities.
Amy T — Google review
Heated pool that definitely did not feel heated, it was freezing! But good facilities, changing rooms are a bit dated and one of hair dryers in the ladies was broken.
Aditee S — Google review
Brilliant place for a swim. Facilities are a little basic but the pool is amazing. Loved the café, ideal for a hot drink and lunch after a swim.
Grahame I — Google review
Cold! Stated by staff and website as heated. To a certain degree yes. But even in the lovely 25 degree evening it was freezing - teeth chattering, goose bump kind. And all in the pool was struggling with it. Pool wasn’t spotless, but grubby. And very poorly maintained changing rooms. I will say we still had a great time regardless but it’s a shame it wasn’t heated more
Sophie — Google review
Absolutely love it here. Such amazing value. £18 for a family of 4 for 3 hours. Parking is quite expensive which a shame but totally worth it for the facilities.
Kirsty S — Google review

A fabulous place & a hidden gem within Cheltenham. Was a lovely day out with my family. A big main pool, happy of which was for lane swimming & the other half for family playing. A lovely secluded small pool for babies & young children. Loads of places to set up camp around the lido & a couple of play areas too. We can’t wait to come back again soon.

Located in The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham, The Play Farm is a soft play center that offers a variety of activities for children of all ages. It features special areas for babies and toddlers, making it suitable for families with young kids. Visitors appreciate the spacious and affordable nature of the facility, which provides a chance for adults to relax while their little ones have fun. Additionally, The Play Farm offers new laser tag parties as an exciting option for entertainment.
My daughter and go now quite regularly. The place is lovely but best is over the weekend when many other xhikdren are also attending and my daughter has somebody to play with. Great food and service.
Tatyanatpb B — Google review
My son had a laser tag birthday party here today. The host, Jack, was a star, worth all the money, full of energy, a great vibe and has been a great entertainer indeed. We all loved him. We had also Casper the cow… that's the only reason the Play farm didn't get 5 stars. The cow acted like a proper cow, a real shame, no contact with the children, stayed always a couple of feet away from the birthday child, no interaction, just a couple of waves and that's it. Even when the host was saying about taking pictures with the cow that was the cows attitude towards the birthday boy. The worst thing is that the cow was the manager. If all the staff will have an attitude as hers that place wouldn't exist anymore. If we will book again, we will definitely not have the cow but we will certainly ask for Jack. Thank you Jack.
Cristina R — Google review
I will start with the only good thing which was the staff - they were all nice and friendly 😊 As for everything else you can see from the pictures , the place hasn't been cleaned for a few years at least. Everything is very dusty and dirty, the tables were filthy and don't let me start with the toilets 🙃 The door handles were even sticky, I have never been to a worse play place. It's a real shame because it's in a lovely location, and I am sure that it would be amazing to play in once it's cleaned. For now, I won't be going there soon.
Vanya V — Google review
Really great place for the kids. Much bigger softplay inside than I expected. Main shout-out is to the two staff who were running the place very efficiently especially considering it was absolutely packed. They were friendly and patient too. This was on Thursday of this week. Good options for food and drink.
Adam B — Google review
Very very very busy… but the kids really enjoyed their time here. Whilst you pay a high price for the adults, you can get a hot or cold drink for free. On the day, staff explained they had no WiFi (not an issue for us) and that they were having issues with their computers and printers, they were calm and dealt with everything patiently. Love the way they set their sessions.
Rhys A — Google review
Visited play farm with my son today and had a fantastic time ,why haven't I done this before? My boy loved it lots to do and a whole maze of soft play to explore he did get hungry and there is a lot on offer to eat he chose a food box and I was pleasantly surprised it was packed with quality items fruit, bag a decent yogurt flavoured milk sandwich pom bear crisps he was very pleased with his choice now on to the staff really pleasant, friendly welcoming and even offered me an umbrella to take with me because it had turned miserable outside. It was very clean, tidy I have nothing negative to say about this establishment will most definitely return oh and the coffee is great too.
Darren M — Google review
Quite a small play centre but good for smaller kids. Staff are very friendly. Wasn't too busy which was nice for smaller kids. The only downside was the huge amount of dust/fluff and hair collected along the edges of the play area - a good wipe down is needed. Otherwise the rest of the centre was good.
Jenn M — Google review
Went to my nephew party this afternoon, staff very helpful and professional, all the children had a an amazing time, recommend to book private hire, even the Lazy Cow made an appearance

Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham is a beloved Victorian venue with a rich history dating back to 1891. The ornate 658-seat auditorium, designed by renowned architect Frank Matcham, is a sight to behold with its elaborate gilded stucco and paintings of cherubs.
Location is good? Literally in town centre. The theatre is small but it is intimate. The theatre itself has really beautiful internal architecture with a huge chandelier. There is a good selection of shows and some musicals even stop here as part of their tour!
Steve C — Google review
Lovely period theatre & ambience. Good service. Brilliant production of ‘Murder on the Orient Express’. Thank you to everyone involved.
Guy B — Google review
A lovey very beautiful theatre in which we enjoyed the famous Fleetwood Mac tribute band “Go your own way” who were very good and played to a packed theatre. The only downside is the seating has very limited legroom in the “Gods”. Lovey ice creams available during the break. In addition a lovey fully stocked bar available.
James S — Google review
Beautiful Frank Matcham theatre with ornate auditorium. Great touring and in-house shows, a secondary studio theatre space and restaurant. I've been here numerous times as our local professional theatre, and will continue to do so for years to come.

Seen many shows here over the years and most recently Boys from the Black Stuff. Excellent acting and performances always top notch. Musicals also brilliant. Staff are very helpful.

Beutifull building unfortunately it isn't open to the public. The Park is stunning

A lovely green space and well maintained. Lots of interesting trees both young and old. The pump house is very pretty and helps add great character to this park

Disappointed. Cafe was closed due to wedding fayre. Found out after I'd ordered and paid for my coffees that they were doing takeaways only. The empty 2 tables of 6 and 1 of 2 were reserved for people attending the free wedding fayre only. Cakes and pastries were uncovered on the counter where everyone ordered and waited for their orders. Nice coffee and pleasant lad who served me.

Montpellier Gardens as a lovely, welcoming spot to relax with loved ones and pets. The main reason to felling welcoming in is the fact that smokers and drug addiction, etc aren’t welcoming and they know that. Love our town.

Fantastic facilities, two great golf courses with loads of variety and fun for all ages, the dark light sections are especially challenging and fun. Other games such as pool, darts and shuffle board are also available. Staff are friendly and we didn't feel rushed. A bar is available and they do offer a food selection.

We got a family ticket for £36. The Kids really enjoyed it. We tried the Neptune mini golf course. Some holes are more difficult than others. There's plenty of food and drink on offer, especially the alcoholic cocktails, and ice cream. However, this could make the day expensive.
Junkybabes — Google review
Had a brilliant few hours. Kathryn was an excellent host, very helpful and gave some great advice on the best games. Definitely worth going early as was really quiet and everything was pre peak pricing. Will definitely be back, kids had a fantastic time.

Definitely one of the better mini golf courses I have been too, very clean, friendly and welcoming staff, cocktails were perfect. The actual courses was very fun and some challenging.

Amazing time in the new karaoke room. Loads of modern tracks for kids young and old to enjoy. I took my 9 year old daughter and friends for an hour. They shared three microphones which were perfect for making them feel like total pop stars. The staff were really attentive in making sure we were happy and had the refreshments we wanted - the kids enjoyed slushies. The kit was high quality and a good sound so it was like we were in our own private nightclub.

Nice chilled out venue in a good location with parking opposite have plenty of things to do both adults and children of all ages…. Disabled lift if you cant manage stairs. Good selection of food and drinks on offer as shown in the pics but cant comment on the quality as we didn’t have food. Would recommend if your looking for a funky golf experience 👍

Visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon. My kids, age 18, 15, 13 and 9, all enjoyed it. Its a great way of spending a couple of hours on cost effective kids entertainment. The golf is good and I think is good value. The venue is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I booked on line, which was really easy to do.

Our family did the brunch deal that had just been released. Such a fantastic offer.! We had loads of fun doing the golf. We have different ages in our family and it entertained all of us. Unlimited drinks was a win. Only negative was, only once were we offered a new drink during the course but we were only drinking soft drinks so it was ok. The food selection after the game was really extensive. Very good value for money in the holidays. Will come back to do the Neptune course.

It is the first Michelin-starred restaurant in the area and is highly regarded for its unpretentious yet exceptional food. The restaurant is run by husband-and-wife team David and Helen Everitt-Matthias, who take pride in offering seasonal menus featuring the finest local ingredients.
Went there for a family meal and it was incredible. From the service to the the food everything is impeccably impressive. The wine list is vast and the food menu also spoils you for choice as it all sounds delicious. I personally chose a mix of the menus ordering fish for starters and meat for mains, it all came out of the kitchen cooked to perfection. You can tell the passion for food is very alive in those 4 walls and it really gets to you as you get to try all the amazing flavours. Cant finish the review without mentioning the choice of cheeses in the end of your meal, they all get introduced to you according their flavour profile and surprise surprise: all as good as the rest of the meal.

Incredible food with superb service. My wife and I had a special meal here for my birthday - we had never been before but it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Many thanks to Helen and the team for making us feel so welcome. The food definitely lived up the expectations and it was some of the best we have ever had.

The food was amazing, some of the best I’ve ever eaten, and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant, we’ll definitely go back before the year is out. I only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere as it would have been nice to have a bit of music in the background.

Beautiful food, every menu we picked has a sweet taste on it. The restaurant is a bit dated. Feeling a little intense in there.

Had a fabulous lunch here. My husband and I thought that the food was outstanding and service top notch. Also great value considering the quality of the food. We also loved the variety of inbetween courses and petit fours with our tea and coffee.

One word, incredible. This is comfortably the best dining experience I have had recently, the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was delicious in every bite, the wine list was varied and interesting, and the explanations given for each dish had you enjoying the food before you even ate it. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough if you are here for a special occasion.
ChrisMrWain — Google review
This is an extremely good restaurant and in fact very good value for the quality of the food. The wine list is very good value and the better wine is in fact exceptional value - some bottles would be 3x the price in London. The ambience is a little austere but there is excellent art and flowers on the table. Two hours for dinner flew by and I would strongly recommend it.

I have high expectations of this restaurant due to awards presented to this restaurant some years ago, and high valuation by commendators as shown in their website. However, I don't share the same experience. The food is OK and decent, not the finest quality. The servicing staff are nice and helpful. However, they didn't check if we have any allergy at all. Also, they served chef presented tapas with blue cheese and I don't eat blue cheese. The decoration is neat and tidy. I would expect more characters or classy decoration giving relatively higher price point of this restaurant.

Went September 2024 while away with work was apprehensive about coming back but give them another chance tonight. Graham couldn’t do enough. Food was prompt. Cooked well and what you expected.

I almost never leave 1* review but this place is abysmal. I don’t even know what the fries were supposed to be but everything from the presentation to the taste was absolutely awful. The burger was dry and was the cheapest frozen patty I think you could buy, with cheddar cheese in (weird cheese for a burger) and just to top it off the coke/pepsi was flat. But atleast we got a mega sized portion of coleslaw and half a chips worth of BBQ sauce. The prices here are astronomical for some of the worst food you could get

Was here for breakfast as I was staying at the Premier Inn opposite. Food was very good and well cooked. Service was acceptable but I didn't feel rushed. This was part of the meal deal with Premier Inn.
Emyr F — Google review
The interior was nice. Slow service, waited at host desk for about 10minutes with no one in sight. Had to pay at bar. The breakfast was disappointing, plain, just tasted of microwave. Small juice glasses constantly have to go up to refill. Waitress took the drinks station few minutes early too which was inconvenient.

Second visit here - another very positive experience. Staff were cheerful and helpful when we arrived and so it continued. Our waitress, Sue, was friendly and efficient; our food came promptly with good timings between courses. Both the steak and lasagna were delicious. Definitely recommended!

Coming from South Wales to meet up with friends from the midlands, this was about half way for both of us. We booked a meal deal with the Premier inn. We had a drink on arrival and booked our table for 7pm in the restaurant area for our evening meal. The serving staff were great, the place is clean and the food was good standard pub grub. However, we were a bit disappointed at the end of the night when we decided to have one for the road. Went up to the bar and a stern lady told me the bar was closed and it closes at 10pm, this was 10.02. When I told her that the website states it is open until 11pm she told me there's nothing she could do as it has been shutting at 10pm for 2 years. I asked why the time (on this site) had not been altered and Mrs Stern told me she could do nothing about that. Really??? What's the matter with getting your regional manager to get whoever updates the site to alter it? My main gripe was not the closing time, but the fact that nobody had come to warn us the bar was closing soon, or rung a bell of some sort. You've eaten, we've had your money, now there's the door. If we'd known we would have had another drink and been out of there by 10.30 no problem, not exactly into the early hours is it? It wont stop us meeting up there again as everything else was fine.

Attended early evening (17:30 booked table) and restaurant not busy. Shown table and after bringing drinks order, left to peruse menu. Ordered RibEye steak (medium rare)with Diane sauce, served with usual accompaniments and was very nice. Waiting Staff were very professional and attentive all time. - Recommended.

Jet Age Museum, located in Gloucester, is a haven for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs. The museum showcases vintage planes, aviation artifacts, and restoration projects. Visitors can enjoy guided cockpit tours of jet fighters and an airliner. The museum offers free entry with the option to make donations. It's a family-friendly destination where children are warmly welcomed, and volunteers are knowledgeable and accommodating.
Really lovely museum with the opportunity to sit in a few different cockpits. The volunteers were all really friendly, welcoming and informative. The museum is free of charge and there is a cafe

Nice and immersive volunteer run museum next to Gloucestershire Airport. I honestly hadn't previously heard about this treasure and was pleasantly surprised and impressed. The premises were clean, well organised and various, well curated airframes- with thoughtfully researched placards. My personal favourites were the Hawker Sisley Trident and Avro Vulcan narrated tours. All the volunteers were also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Overall, will definitely recommend.

Fabulous little gem next to the busy small airport. Plenty of nearby take offs, lovely museum - a lot to see & hands on experience. Volunteers are amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Great museum, well curated, main theme is anything with a tie to local Gloucestershire air industry. No entry fee, plase give a donation. You can sit in a Vulcan cockpit and also that of the Trident airliner. Very helpful & knowledgable volunteers. Books, pictures and model kits and toys for sale. Nice cafe to visit at end for a brew and biscuit. Impossible to find anything wrong or criticise. Everything is well curated and presented. We will be back.

Biggles flies undone. December 17th, 1903. Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Wilbur Wright turns to brother Orville and angrily 😠 says "I told you we should've fitted a jet engine. We'd have got a lot further than 120 feet." "Jet engine?", replied Orville, "Frank Whittle hasn't invented them yet!" Wilbur only half heard him, his mind was on other things. War was looming, Wilbur was rethinking the design, "Where can we put the bomb 💣 bay?" he muttered to himself. Run by volunteers, whose only error was asking me to make a contribution, this is a pretty coolio place to visit. No charge to get in, hours of fun for all the family. War. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing (Say it again).
Bill R — Google review
Excellent museum, free too (although I donated of course) Great display, great cafe and seating in and out, good parking. The displays are brilliant. Well done!!

What a delightful museum! The absolute highlight was not only sitting in the cockpit of the Vulcan (genuinely, it is such a powerful and atmospheric experience), but speaking through some of the details with a former Vulcan pilot (Ray). We could’ve sat with him for hours — such a modest man. I wish we’d allocated more time for the visit. Will definitely visit again with the kids 👌

Wagamama Cheltenham is a casual eatery offering Asian cuisine in a Japanese-inspired ambiance with spacious communal seating. Located at Cheltenham House on Clarence St, this restaurant caters to both dine-in and delivery services for residents of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Keeping up with the vegan trend, Wagamama has introduced an array of new dishes. The food is excellent, creating a pleasant dining experience enhanced by friendly service.
The food was awesome and tasty. All our orders taste delicious. Two thumbs up for the chefs. The staff named Nabina served us cheerfully and respectfully. Very good service given by her that complete our meal and asking if we still have something in need. The place is clean and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good because it is near the shopping center.
JepJep — Google review
We thought we'd try this place out for once. It is a cool and trendy place and part of a chain, which means it lacks that personal touch. A group can share multiple dishes on a bench, and you help yourself to whatever you fancy. This is a good way to try new things and is one for trendy people. However, it was wasted on us as we sat in a booth and ordered a main meal with a couple of sides. The staff were excellent, but I felt the food wasn't as good as I was expecting. It was probably due to my choice to be fair. For 2 sides, 2 mains and 2 drinks, it came to £51, which is less than anticipated.
Junkybabes — Google review
Walked past and decided to give it a try due to how lovely the resturant looked from the inside. The host was welcoming and got us seated right away however the lady assigned to taking our order was very persistent and refused to give us any time to look at the menu. She came back 3 times before we decided and felt very pressured. Food was quick however the timing when the dishes came out was very odd with the main coming first and starters coming once we finished. Food was decent but a let down in taste and portion considering the price. Unfortunately doubt we will be back again.

I enjoyed a veritable feast today @ Wagamama Cheltenham! Lovely fresh fruit and vegetable ingredients. Nourishing and satisfying food. Friendly and helpful staff. Top notch experience 👍🏻
Emma B — Google review
I have visited this place more than 5 times already and can firmly say that it is a decent restaurant to go to in order to have some extraordinary food for relatively small, especially if that's your first encounter with eastern cuisine. I appreciate chicken ramen particularly. I loved the fact you can see a big part of the kitchen, however felt a little bit uncomfortable because the dining space was one whole big room with no walls or cozy corners (it might be a good benefit for outgoing visitors though) Some of the food is extremely tasty, although, some dishes would have a huge bunch of rice with very small pieces of meat (so you finish meat quite early ending up eating only rice). Also, once i had a dish that wasn't indicated as spicy on the menu, but in fact it was so spicy for me that i couldn't enjoy its taste without coughing and drinking water after every spoon of the dish. Last bit is that the straws for drinks are really short and you barely can drink with that straw without emerging it fully into the drink. Nothing distinctive about staff. Really liked the way you pay online (on website) which allows you to quickly complete transaction and easily split the bill into different amounts of money.
Mark T — Google review
Great wagamama, nice spot easy to get to town from so great place to grab lunch whilst in Cheltenham and also a bit hidden away from the main food area so actually never packed which means the food gets brought out in great time and always fresh so you won’t be left with a cold starter or main. The ramen is always good, there was a bit of a mishap and I got the wrong order but the server fixed it with no fuss or issue which made it feel as if there was no issue at all. So very good service, plus the wagamama soul club is very highly recommended as it helps get the bill done quickly and also got a free starter with the stamps so the chilli squid tasted even better.
Krzysztof M — Google review
Great food, even though they have changed the menu recently. Service was better than good but not the best. It could probably do with a bit of a spring clean generally but overall still glad we stopped there.
Clive P — Google review
Great food, a good atmosphere, and good customer service. Don't sit close to the kitchen as cooking fumes might be sometimes a bit too overwhelming for you. Free green tea is far from green tea. Waiters seem to be a bit lost and kind of forgot about you, even equipped with tablets. Overall good experience but...

Nestled in the heart of Oldbury-on-Severn, The Old Elm Inn is a charming gastropub that offers a delightful blend of comfort and culinary excellence. Went here for a meal with my brother. Amazing food - we had their ham egg and chips (best pub chips I’ve had for years, plus the ham was off the bone and amazing) and also their pork belly dish - tasted great and portion so generous I didn’t need dinner later. Definitely recommended. Will certainly come back. Thank you!

We recently held my daughters 21st birthday celebrations here and from booking all the way through to leaving after the party had ended I cannot fault Dan and his staff! The communication was amazing and nothing was too much trouble! We hired the restaurant area and had a buffet for 30 people and the food was all piping hot and delicious! We were there late in the evening the night prior to decorate and were there early on the morning of the party to drop off the cake and add finishing touches etc and we were greeted warmly with plenty of offers of help! Dan bought my daughter her partner and my partner a celebratory birthday drink and packed up the left over food for some family members to take away! Genuinely so happy we chose to hold her party with you guys! She came away with a full heart so thank you! Will definitely recommend 👌🏻

A very nice local to visit with family and friends and very dog friendly. We hadn't booked but they squeezed us in and we enjoyed a very good meal. My wife and son both had the Steak Pie, which was a huge plateful of pie and vegetables with chips (their choice). They really enjoyed the large succulent pieces of steak and the generous amount of gravy. My burger was nice but the bacon a tiny bit too crisp and it missed a nice refreshing side salad or salsa type accompaniment. You can get a side salad as an extra and I would do that next time. Jacket potato chips were nice and a generous portion. The service was very friendly and pretty efficient. There was a delay in waiting for our pudding, but there was a very large birthday party in, so fair enough. Believe me, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was worth waiting for. Overall, a really enjoyable visit.

Wow, what a lovely surprise, recommendation from our campsite and everything was A1. Steak perfect, chips were brill nice staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing only criticism is pudding tasted shop bought but we'll dressed. Ordered the vegan roast, was delivered the veggie roast. Despite having a vegan specials night once a week the regular menu is a bit scarce for vegan options with no readily available allergy information. Ordered the vegan roast, they brought out a veggie one, I realised because it had cauliflower cheese on the plate. Asked for it to be changed and it was, very quickly, but these sorts of mistakes should be avoided.

Let me get this out the way, I live in Churchdown, so I am incredibly biased. I give this place a five star review despite any imperfections that could be thrown at the place, because of its importance to Churchdown and that, above all else, it's a great vibe. The welcome is always friendly and charming. The service is swift, minimising waiting and queues at the bar by offering table side service where possible and will bring drinks to you. The food is good hearty pub grub, but if you are expecting something more "gourmet" I would suggest your expectations are way out of line. Yes, the pub is a little "worn around the edges" but that helps give it its charm. The service team do an excellent job of making you feel welcome, particularly regulars, and I'm proud to call it my local.

Baker & Graze, located on Suffolk Street, is a versatile bakery, deli, and cafe offering a diverse menu. From classic options like avocado toast with smoked streaky bacon to more inventive choices such as fennel sausages with cavolo nero and anchovy butter or nduja with labneh and pickled fennel, the establishment also boasts an array of salads, sandwiches, and delicate pastries.
Such a nice place for a brunch! It gets busy though so keep that in mind! They have more seating upstairs which I wasn’t aware of so always ask inside if they have any space - cause they usually look at capacity from the outside, especially with people queuing for the bakery. Food is really nice, the staff is super friendly too. It’s one of my fave brunch spots in Cheltenham actually.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. Whilst working at Cheltenham College I went twice a day once I found this place. The veggie rolls are great, the croissants were sometimes really fresh, the pain au chocolat has a good amount of chocolate. But the coffees both hot and cold, latte or cappuccino was so good probably one of the best coffee shops in the area. I also really appreciated that the waiter recognised me as I went often and waved! Will miss this coffee shop.
Kelly V — Google review
Great food! We sat outside in the courtyard area which was very cute. We ordered the smoked salmon and eggs on toast and the crispy chicken sandwich.
Brad — Google review
Recommended if you like smaller portions, we do so it suited us but some people prefer quantity over quality. The service varied, ever felt like you have to grab their attention whilst the loud table next to you gets all the service, we did. Still the food was quite good, prices were about average, the coffee was excellent and my wife said it was the best chai latte in her life.
Edwin B — Google review
To start with positives. The service was attentive, but nothing to write home about. The coffee and matcha were delicious. Aside from that, the wait time was too long. The drinks took 20min with food over 45min to be served. The food while presented nicely was disappointing. The sweet potato rosti dish could be eaten in 5 bites, easily 200g of food. It was so small I left hungry. Additional rostis or carb element is needed to turn what was a “starter” into a “main” lunch item. The other dishes my friends ordered, marinated tomato sourdough and sausage toast dishes, were okay and definitely more appropriately sized. Don’t think I’ll be back, there’s some other excellent local spots close by that have better options.
Isaac — Google review
We came at lunchtime on Sunday, so we had to wait quite a bit for our food to be ready – but that is to be expected. The staff were polite and it was easy to get their attention. The tea was alright; our food (full English breakfast & sweet potato pavé) was extremely greasy, however. Not in a cheap way, but every single item on the plate had so much more oil (and salt) than necessary. Additionally, they use all the fancy terms on their menu, so if you are not a foodie then you’ll have a hard time knowing what’s what. Unfortunately my dish ended up having an ingredient that I can’t stomach, which I couldn’t have anticipated from the menu (not even after googling what the fancy food terms meant) – people with allergies and intolerances should be careful.
Lena M — Google review
Great food, generous bacon sarny in their excellent sourdough bread. We'll be coming back to try the shakshuka. Update -;Just been back for another bacon sandwich, still great value! Update 2 - back again for brunch and coffee, had the black pudding on fried bread with bacon & scrambled eggs, and it was the tastiest black pudding I've ever had. My partner, who isn't a big fan of black pudding, tried some and agreed. I should also mention they have amazing sausage rolls, cruffins and other pastries. They also serve some of the best coffee in Cheltenham.

Very appealing decor and atmosphere with surprisingly large amount of seating from first appearance. Dog friendly. The food was freshly made and good but a little sparse for the price. Was expecting a more traditional shaksuka, this lacked warmth and sauce.

It's always a lovely time here 😊 Ticket prices are a good value for money, the cinema itself is always kept nice and clean. The staff are all very friendly and professional 😊 The popcorn is always fresh and tasty 😋 We will be going back soon and would recommend it to everyone ❤️

lovely experience! the seats are super comfy and the whole process is efficient! snacks a lil pricey but that is expected for a cinema – there is a starbucks and a bar downstairs and they show a very good range of new releases
Anna — Google review
Staff have always been friendly and helpful, sometimes there are technical difficulties and I feel bins /toilets could be emptied/cleaned more but I do still love going and IMAX is immense. Of course prices are expensive but unfortunately that's just the state of the business (what with streaming etc)
Stefan H — Google review
I like this cinema. Usually very good. I am an unlimited member and that card is great value. But note, buying one ticket at a time is pricey so get a deal or meerkat movies. Staff always friendly and attentive. Clean throughout. ⭐️ Although, snacks needs to be addressed. On numerous occasions there have been no hotdogs of any kind, missing nacho sauces and on the last two occasions… STALE popcorn! 🍿 I like to support the cinema and buy snacks at the counter. But £4.50 (with discount) for a small stale bag is really off putting. Hopefully you can address this issue.
I M — Google review
It's a Cineworld cinema. So that's what you should expect. The digital ticket stations were all "broken", eventually got one to work, but it didn't print a ticket (although this was rectified quickly and well at the counter upstairs). Food/drink is pretty overpriced, as are the prices of the tickets. Seats were very comfortable, with plenty of leg room. If you want to go to the cinema. It's good, although there are better ones in the county.
Daniel S — Google review
Went for 4DX and the place was amazing!! The tickets are definitely on the expensive side but with meerkat two for one is a good deal. The inside is great and lots of movie screens inside. The 4DX was great but our seats didn’t get any front spray so didn’t get the full experience but it was still great. The ice cream was great and the food choices was good too. Having some discounts for students or days will be even better.
Dessi V — Google review
I had a free ticket to use tonight, Dukes helped me decide which screen to choose. Dukes was very friendly, added a great personal touch and individuality to the experience. It’s always nice to be served by them, thanks!
Kieran R — Google review
Our first visit to this particular Cineworld and it was a broadly positive one. Although we were bang on time for our screening, there was a queue in the lobby, but staff were all very calm and helpful and they had plenty of people on hand to deal with customers, as well as a couple of self-service check-in machines. The theatre itself was clean and comfortable, but the sound was a little bit quieter than we expect from a cinema experience. Elsewhere, the till area was well-staffed with everything seemingly running smoothly and efficiently. There's a pay and display NCP car park across the main road from the cinema, although it's quite expensive. We were lucky enough to find parking in a nearby side street, which is free all day Sunday and after 6pm the rest of the week.

Holst Victorian House, also known as The Holst Birthplace Museum, is a 19th-century manor that offers a glimpse into Victorian life in England. This historical site was the birthplace of composer Gustav Holst and now serves as a museum showcasing the lifestyle of the era. Visitors can explore a working Victorian kitchen, bedroom, scullery, and nursery while learning about Holst's early years.
Lovely little gem found in Cheltenham. Myself, my mum and my 11 yr old daughter visited and found the volunteers very welcoming and friendly. The house is beautifully presented and we all enjoyed time wandering around. Thank you

An interesting little museum. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The items on display were interesting and explained about Holst's life there until he was 8 yrs old. There is a video which is about 20 mins long but there are no subtitles to enable deaf visitors to understand it. Also the sound was so low that hearing people could not hear it either. Entry £7 for adults.

Terraced house in 'Nam, probably of the two up two down type. Ten quidlies to 'ave a butchers at things that'll take ten minutes to see?! You're 'aving a Steffi! "Oh, you've got to pay for the upkeep of the premises" is the usual guff spouted about such places. It only takes a couple of minutes to throw a duster around every two weeks, perhaps some wet wipes to take those sticky rings caused by cans of pop from the piano 🎹. How much does the estate earn from royalties from the Planets? Siphon some of that off for the upkeep.
Bill R — Google review
We had a good visit overall. However, upon arriving we were told we can take a copy of the information book and no charge for this was mentioned so we thought we will take home and read it later. When we were about to leave with the book in hand, we were told by a different lady that they cost and that we either pay or return it. We ended up returning the book and so missed out on a lot of information as we thought we would get to read it at a later date. It was not explained at all. We also felt she was watching over us and didn't provide any information, rather check we were "behaving".

Hollywood Bowl Cheltenham is a modern bowling chain located in The Brewery Quarter. It features a bar/diner, arcade games, and a dedicated games area. The venue offers a fun atmosphere for families and groups, with options for pre-booking online to secure a good deal. Despite being busy at times, the staff are efficient in managing the crowds. In addition to bowling, there are arcade games and pool tables available for entertainment while waiting.
This was a flashy venue for entertainment, which is shown throughout with the fancy design! Decorations like the Hollywood bowl star, glorious lights and mock-up car help set this scene, pool was really cheap as well as fun. The games were a proper variety, including Mario and Space Invaders!

On Sunday morning, I decided on the spur of the moment to take my two children bowling as we were already shopping in town. We were charged more than £56 for two games! While I appreciate that it can be cheaper to book online (we could have done this for approx. £36 if I had booked beforehand), I now feel more than slightly ripped off. Less than half of the lanes were in use, so there shouldn't really have been much of a premium charged for a 'walk up' booking. I won't be going back anytime soon!

Creams Cafe Cheltenham, located in the heart of town at The Brewery Quarter, offers a delightful array of desserts including ice cream sundaes, shakes, warm cookie dough, waffles, and crepes. The colorful decor and extensive menu make it a perfect spot for refueling after enjoying family activities. Whether you prefer classic toppings or more extravagant options like the Crepe au Royale with Ferrero Rocher or banana burrito wrap, there's something for everyone.
i hadn't been to creams in a very long time, but when we visited the other day i remembered how absolutely delicious the food is!! after our great experience i've recommended this cafe to my family and we'll definitely come back soon. there is an abundance of choices on the menu, so we struggled to choose one since they all sound very tasty. the service is excellent, with polite & patient staff who ensure you have an enjoyable time. also the atmosphere is delightful - i'm in love with the interior🍪

I visited the other day and noticed there was only one staff member working, which didn't seem fair to them, especially on a busy day like Pancake Day. The place understandably got quite hectic, so we had to wait a while to be served and receive our food. That said, the food was absolutely lovely and worth the wait. However, I did find it a bit odd that Christmas music was playing in March. To the managers: It’s not fair at all to leave one person to handle everything alone, particularly on days that are known to be busy. Regardless they provided great service so no fault to him.

Always a Great Experience! We recently visited Crrams and, as always, had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, and they never disappoint when it comes to desserts - always top-notch. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm, and everything we ordered was full of flavor. It's always a pleasure dining here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a consistently excellent dining experience!

Had an awful time. Ordered a milkshake and dessert combo for one and an extra milkshake with it. Driver showed up and handed us just a dessert and ran off when we tried to ask where the rest of our order was. The waffle was cold and didn't have the ice cream on it that we paid extra for. Went and tried to call them about 10 times each between me and my gf and they didn't answer once. Went down in person and found it absolutely empty so no idea why they couldn't answer the phone. Explained it to the workers there and they couldn't have cared less. Told us that it's the riders fault so it's nothing to do with them. We asked to have our items replaced and they refused, acted pissed off, and told us we'll have to pay again, even though one of them was part of a deal. Got home and went to local bossman for milkshakes. Shoulda gone to him first maybe this was punishment for cheating on him. Went home and the waffle was bland and not worth the money. Tried to get refund, only got half of it. Not good.
Harrison G — Google review
Ordered online. Quality of the shake was disgusting it looked and tasted like wall paper paste. They completely forgot the rest of our order. We ordered 2 drinks and got 1. I ended up throwing the drink in the bin due to how disgusting it was. Even though I paid like £15 for it with delivery. Avoid this place! Terrible service and low quality products. There are far better shake and desert places in town that are way better value for money.
Socom — Google review
No customers in the place for a warm Saturday afternoon so the atmosphere was lacking. Staff were friendly enough. Food was pretty terrible, everything tasted synthetic, the ice cream didn't taste like fresh ice cream and the latte didn't even taste like coffee, just overly artificially sweet products. I wouldn't return.
Rambo L — Google review
Although the ice creams look absolutely amazing, I think the taste was very bland, not much flavour to it. I was expecting a much more high end ingredients, considering it's quite pricey (£8.95 for a Sundae). It was a nice experience, but probably will not return anytime soon.

They are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Popped in today for a sweet treat and an iced coffee! Had a delightful iced vanilla latte, and a cookie brownie. Both were delightful! Excellent service and nice and speedy too! Lots of community resources and events being advertised there too. I can see why it’s such a wonderful community hub. Will be back next time I need a little treat 🥰

I’ve been coming here for years, pretty much since it opened as it is today and the breakfast was always good, sometimes great but the quality has slowly been dropping the last couple years. Popped in on Monday and ordered the usual, within 3 minutes a full breakfast arrived which was suspiciously quick and as I ate the food I discovered why. First, it came out on a paper plate, who serves food on a paper plate? 2nd I found that the cutlery is now wooden non reusable, the coffee came to me in a paper cup also like they were expecting me to leave as opposed to the usual china cup. I am sad to say The food was disgusting, the sausage was short and stumpy, the bacon was grey in colour, there was a table spoon of beans, the fried eggs were fine and the toast was anything but, it felt as if it had been steamed prior to serving - hot and soggy bread and then the hash browns were thin and tough and at this point I got the genuine feeling that I was eating Saturdays pre cooked food. Will never eat here again, it shouldn’t have been plated up let alone offered to a paying customer. Avoid.

I come here often as place to catch up with my friend. It’s a lovely coffee shop and it’s not just that, it also offers a hall in which small events are held and table tennis can be played as well as a cosy play room for kids. The food and drinks as well as the staff are lovely. I would recommend the unicorn hot chocolate😋

My sausage bap breakfast was a really sad one. It was served cold and with one piece of sausage cut in half so it looks like there is two. It's terrible. I don't know if I just came in at a really bad time with a bad "cook" but the sausage bap is not even on par with McDonald's breakfast menu 🙈 It is a nice community cafe and the prices are cheap but what i had is very disappointing.. The coffee here is decent tho but would avoid the food and milkshake - just not worth it. Doesn't look like the ones on their reviews years ago.

Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park Cheltenham is a 12,000 sq ft inflatable wonderland that promises an action-packed adventure for active and adventurous kids. The park features a Total Wipeout-style obstacle course, a mega slide, ball pit, and a massive air bag for jumping. It's an ideal spot to unleash energy on rainy days or host an exciting birthday party for kids aged 2 to 10.
If Willy Wonka swapped chocolate for trampolines and chaos for organization, you'd get Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park in Cheltenham. This place isn't just a hit for the kids – parents, you’ll find yourself questioning your life choices as you bounce alongside your little tornadoes and rediscover muscles you forgot existed. The place is clean enough to make a germaphobe sigh with relief, and the staff? Polite, organized, and ready to save you from yourself when you attempt a front flip you haven’t tried since 2003. (Pro tip: Stick to bouncing – dignity is key.) The pricing? Affordable enough that you won’t need to remortgage the house after a few rounds of bouncy bliss. And with comfy seating areas, it's a solid deal – kids bounce themselves into exhaustion while you sip coffee and regain your sanity. Final verdict: It’s like a trampoline park got a degree in fun and cleanliness. Just don’t be surprised if you’re the one begging for “five more minutes” when your kids are done. A solid 10/10 – would bounce again!

Took a group of kids here for my child’s birthday party on a really hot day. I was really impressed with the (young) staff team who were really helpful and efficient. Small things like hoovering up regularly and running the tap before filling up a jug of water so it would be cold. Very impressed.
Charis B — Google review
Took my kids here today and they absolutely loved it! Good fun for the whole hour and easy for us old folks to watch with a coffee (that was a little expensive 🙈). Only complaint would be some young staff members being openly homophobic whilst walking around near two women holding hands 😬. Other than that staff were fab, hoovering up messes and welcoming!

Great place for kids to let off steam. We booked a 2 hour session, unfortunately my 13 year old landed awkwardly hurting his ankle within the first 10 mins. He came upto me at the cafe but quickly felt off, turning very pale. The cafe assistant told us we could sit in the party room. When we got in there he momentarily fainted. Alex was quickly on hand not only to bring an ice pack for the ankle but to get him sorted with a cold drink and ensuring he was feeling more normal. As my son missed the bouncing with his brother and friend he emailed me a voucher for another session. Amazing customer service and will definatly return!

We normally go to Funky Warehouse on a Thursday, as they do a Home Ed session for a couple of hours. However, our daughter wanted to try something different, so we went to Jumpin Fun. We are so glad that we did. It was really quiet (Our daughter was the only one there) and one of the staff members spent the whole time making sure that our daughter had a great time. The young lady's name was Haleemah, and she was awesome with our daughter, Darcey. She had a fantastic time, really enjoyed herself. I was eventually forced to go on the huge slide with Darcey, who found it hilarious that I kept falling over on the way up to the slide. I honestly can't say that I particularly enjoyed the decent though. The rest of the staff we spoke to, were all very friendly and seemed to be happy to work there (always a plus if you love your job). We all ate while we were there, and we have to say that the food was also superb, and delivered right on time. I think that our only complaint would be that my partner could not get to the Café. This is up a long flight of stairs, and considering my partner has to use a power chair, there was no way of getting up there, so we had to stay downstairs, which was somewhat disappointing. There is plenty of room there, so maybe access for the disabled could be a consideration at some point. Our daughter, Darcey, now wants to go to Jumpin Fun, instead of the Funky Warehouse, so that's what we are going to do. Thursdays are now "Jumpin Fun" days. Thanks to all the staff, especially Haleemah, for making Darcey's day.

I took my Daughter and niece here today..and I can't praise this place enough. From the moment we walked In....the staff were LOVELY. The girls at the front desk had been so friendly and welcoming...:-) The floor staff were amazing.. :-) every single one of you... so so friendly. My daughter who is 3 hurt herself on the slide and she didn't want to go back on.. a young lad ( member of staff ), offered to take her back on and play some games with my niece to get her back into jumping :-) but she wasnt feeling it... so we were given a free voucher for us all to use to come back at another time when she was feeling better. :-) Definitely be recommending :-) It's so nice to visit a place that is so welcoming and helpful as this place is. Thank you guys... you are all doing a fab job. :-)

My daughter and I had never been before and attended a birthday party at the end of last month and my goodness, what an experience. Firstly you are expected to arrive 30 minutes early (my daughter is autistic so we did not as she is not able to wait for long periods of time) and thank goodness we didn't as when we arrived at the time stated on the invitation the rest of the party (and another party group) were all crammed into the tiny reception area where they had been for 30 minutes. No one knew where they were supposed to be, and if it hadn't been for the parent of the party child I think we may have been stood there all day! We finally ended up in the safety video area, but it was so deafeningly loud that my daughter was terrified and couldn't watch it anyway. There was absolutely no direction from any staff members, and we had to basically guess what we were supposed to do. Usually when you attend a party there is access to the party room where you can leave your belongings and let your child know that this is the base effectively, but this is not the case here. There were also no free tables and no where to store any belongings including birthday gifts as they were all full. This meant that all the parents supervising their children for this party were all stood along the front with bags jackets gifts etc and it was awful! The children were all hot, and although squash was included in the party package for them this was not accessible until they ate.. so this meant purchasing drinks for the children when a (not cheap) party package had been paid for. When we finally got to the party room I was so sad for the birthday girl, A boiling hot box room with a disco ball on the ceiling. No balloons or even a banner 😭 there wasn't even enough room for the parents and these children were 4 and 5 years old, and I just can't get my head around it. It felt like a cattle market. I felt so sorry for the parents that had paid for this party and I'd have been so embarrassed if it was me and for these reasons I would never recommend jumping fun for a birthday party. The children had a great time on the inflatables, and it this was the only saving grace to be honest. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it, unfortunately.

The leisure centre at Cheltenham offers a safe and enjoyable experience for families, with a clean and warm baby pool that is non-slip for added security. The changing area, although it had slick tiles when wet, didn't pose a risk to infants being carried. The pool itself provides various sensory areas for exploration. While some equipment wasn't functioning properly and had scummy deposits in certain areas, they were not in contact with the baby.
Great gym and swimming pool. Ladies changing room is clean. My only criticism would be the selection of music in the gym and throughout the complex. Is there any chance we could have some alternative rock music or a bit of ska?

**Review for Leisure at Cheltenham** ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I had a deeply disappointing experience at Leisure at Cheltenham on April 26, 2025, during the 10:45 AM splash and swim session with my two- and five-year-old children. The service was shockingly inconsistent, particularly around the availability of swimming noodles. Staff gave conflicting information, first saying noodles weren’t allowed, then promising they’d be available in the next session, only to withhold them again. We later learned that instructors’ children were allowed to use noodles, which felt unfair and discriminatory to other families. Worse, an instructor named Nicola was extremely rude. She wrongly accused me of not paying for a session, asked me to leave, and laughed at my language when I mistakenly called lifeguards “security guys,” even after I apologized as a non-native speaker. This felt humiliating and potentially discriminatory. When I asked for an apology, one duty manager confirmed Nicola refused to apologize, and both managers dismissed the issue as a “miscommunication” without taking responsibility or providing their names. This experience left my children upset and me feeling bullied and disrespected. The lack of accountability and poor customer service were unacceptable for a family-oriented facility. I’ve raised a formal complaint and hope for improvements, but I cannot recommend Leisure at Cheltenham based on this visit. Families deserve consistent policies and respectful treatment.
Wk C — Google review
Poor swimming facilities for the high price. Still been charging full price even though the splash pad has been closed. The changing rooms aren’t always clean. We much prefer to go to Tewkesbury these days for an overall better experience for fraction of the price.

I travel from swindon with my daughter to use the kids splash pool / teaching pool after a few good past experiences. Sadly the teaching pool has become more or a normal pool with older kids jumping in from the sides, overly energetic, throwing weights (that sink to dive and retrieve them) around nearly hitting parents / children with no care for other younger children around. My daughter is 3 and a half and cannot swim, so in our build up to our holiday abroad this year, I want to provide some 1 in 1 sessions with her. The whole point of the a teaching pool in my eyes is to have the ability / freedom to provide more personalised 1 on 1 sessions with those who want to learn how to swim, but today it was so hectic and no space beside us wherever we went, it felt like we was in a holiday hotel pool. There was that many people on the pool they had 4 lifeguards around. Shockingly awful and put off from travelling back. Will no longer be returning and will find another pool more local.

No longer able to visit due to the carpark restrictions (my supervised learner driver, drives everywhere and uses these facilities weekly without causing any issues). Luckily GL1 is due to have a refurb this year for the pools and don't impose stupid cash grabby restrictions when using their car parks. Very poor move by the parking company.

This place made for a lovely leisure experience, where the staff checked me and my friend in smoothly at the counter! The changing rooms are definitely properly sized, lockers are free while secure and entrance is easy through the electronic gates. We relaxed an on and off hot tub, where a sauna and steam room are then able to proceeded into as well as spa beds to put our towels back on!

I can honestly say we as a group (of 6) have never been treated so poorly by staff we are paying for a service. One member of staff in particular (she wouldn't give me her name) actually SWORE at us when we were leaving. They cut our session short & asked us to leave without explanation. It was hands down the most unprofessional experience I have encountered, I would recommend using the other escape room not far from this one if you're hoping for a service worthy of £30 each. EDIT: Of course this experience cannot be a fault of the Hunt staff, very typical. Your 2 female staff members on shift that evening were terrible. & it may not have "sounded like a swear word" which again is convenient. The 6 of us in that room have been friends for many years, we take the mick out of each other. That can't be the first time your staff have been subject to banter? There was a huge air of superiority & it was frankly disgusting. Makes sense the review response was much the same.

Kids had a great time here, lots to do and would have happily stayed longer than the hour if they could. All entertained with an age range 2-12, littler ones are able to try out the bigger section accompanied by an adult in the family session time which was good. We didn't pre-book as we weren't sure on whether an adult required a ticket to assist (they do but think my partner had the most fun of all of them so it was worth it!) and were accommodated with no issue as a walk in. Drinks were fairly priced and there were also some breakfast and snack options available at the early session. Would visit again and recommend.

I was last Saturday whit my 2 kids and another family and it was amazing! New playground, nice staff. The only bad thing is that you can't have yet a hot meal. But for total it was fun and clean .

Park
Sandford Park, designed by Milner White in 1927, is a picturesque park with mature trees, a lido, and ornamental beds. Divided into three sections, the main part features landscaped flowerbeds and a fountain with seating creating a beautiful and romantic landscape. The Annecy Gardens and Italian Gardens with sunken pools and fountains are located to the west of the park.
I love this Park. When you sit back. Take time as they say. Sit back and smell the roses, life, there is a chance for a future. So much history of my childhood based around the Italian sunken pond. That's another chapter about raising children the right way. Public should surely start to think. Respect life as at the moment public are making their foot print to gloom unlike the beauty in Sandford Park under threat from human traits.

Sandford Park was built to commemorate the fifth century battle of Sandford Plain. The Angles, Saxons, Jutes, and Frisians were all vying for power at the time. It was originally planned for the four parties to fight each other on a home and away basis but the logistics proved problematic. It was decided, therefore, to meet at Sandford and battle it out on a head to head (to head to head) basis. The Frisians had problems from the start. Their coach driver actually took them to Sandford in Somerset, they failed to show, however they consoled themselves by partaking of the Sandford brewed Thatchers Cider. The Jutes had decided to travel by river but at the time the Chelt was only four inches deep and was difficult to navigate. The fact that it flows underground from Waitrose ended any chance of a Jute victory. The Angles parked up in the Lido car park and intended to walk into battle. They failed to bring enough change for the meters so had to trade swords and axes for parking spaces, thus depleting their armoury. The Saxons, on the other hand, were well prepared. They had stopped off at Wolfies sandwich shop in the Bath Road for a boost of protein based energy. They marched the short distance to go to war with the late arriving Angles, who were fighting with only one weapon between two. In a fairly short while it was all over. The Saxons were triumphant. A large silver cup and the head of the Angles leader mounted on a stick were presented in the winners enclosure.

Lovely garden near central Cheltenham. Loads of benches to sit and watch the world go by. Very well maintained.

This is a nice place to stroll in the sun or relax, it's a little jewel in the town of Cheltenham. You also have the Lido, which is an open air swimming pool. Which again is great for families.

Cotswold Grange Hotel is a charming Victorian stone villa located in the historic district of Pittville, just a short walk from Cheltenham's town center. The hotel offers elegantly designed bedrooms with detailed furnishings and large windows, exuding a sense of charm and occasion. Guests can enjoy the stylish bar and breakfast area as well as the beautiful garden pond on the property.
This is a gem of a find. Because I had to leave very early in the morning I was unable to try their breakfast but I am sure it would have been great because everything else about this hotel was. I had one of the standard double rooms which was a good enough size, beautifully decorated, extremely high quality housekeeping standards, gorgeous Cotswold interior design, wonderful bathroom with rainfall shower and bathroom cosmetics. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Well done.

Good location, easily walkable into town. Free parking on site. Very good English Breakfast, quality ingredients. Mattress was too soft for me (my preference). Upgrading to some quality mattresses would be an easy improvement. Staff very friendly, room clean. Would stay again.

About 1 mile from the town centre. We had no trouble parking in their grounds. Excellent breakfast, at £15 each. Very helpful staff. We booked a 'small double' and found it bigger than many doubles we'd had before. And it had a walk in shower, which we much prefer, with hot water running promptly. No lift, but we said we could manage 1 flight, and we're on the lower ground floor, so we're accommodated.

Our experience at Cotswolds Grange for our luxury wedding styled shoot was exceptional. The owners were warm and welcoming, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and hospitality set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable shoot. The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms and outdoor space offered beautiful backdrops that perfectly complemented the creative vision of the shoot. The attention to detail in both design and upkeep was clear throughout the property. The staff were outstanding, attentive, and professional, making sure everything ran effortlessly. Their support made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you are planning a styled shoot, micro wedding, or elopement, Cotswold Grange is an excellent choice. It offers beauty, comfort, and service of the highest standard.

Prime location for Cheltenham town centre or racecourse facilities, 5 mins away. Plenty of free on site parking. Our Accommodation was excellent , comfortable kingsize bed and walk in shower with plenty of hot water. It has a bar with a good selection for most people. Breakfast menu plenty of choices was hot and very well cooked. I would highly recommend the Cotswold Grange if looking for somewhere to stay in Cheltenham.

Generous rooms are very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast and a great packed lunch. The hotel team are so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed both the lounge and the patio/terrace.

We cannot speak too highly of the service we received at the Cotswold Grange, in every way the staff were exemplary. Our room was large, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We were really impressed with this hotel and hope to return.
Marilyn P — Google review
This was a good locally run hotel, the rooms were as described and we had ordered and received a family room with a king and 2 good, high quality roll away beds. The rooms were well equipped restocked daily and the towels were like one would have at home. Breakfast as limited choice if you are there for more than a day or 2 but were of high quality. The only issue was that our room was up 2 flights of stairs, no elevator and noone that could assist. If you need a good hotel in Cheltenham this is a good choice and you are not going to be disappointed
