Bistro
La Fia Bistro is a beloved spot in Wilmington, known for its globally inspired bistro dishes made with local ingredients. The cozy restaurant offers outdoor seating and a $40 prix-fixe menu on Wednesdays, featuring appetizers like seasonal salads and signature pork belly, handmade pasta or steak entrees, and desserts. With French influences and a diverse wine list, the warm and welcoming bistro is perfect for unpretentious date nights or group dinners.
Visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner and had an overall pleasant experience. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The service was efficient, with food and drinks arriving promptly. The highlight of the meal was the fig toast, which was absolutely phenomenal – a perfect balance of flavors. I also tried the dry-aged duck breast, which was decent but didn’t quite live up to my expectations. While it wasn’t bad, it lacked the wow factor I was hoping for. Still, it was a nice evening with great service and standout dishes.
Xudong X — Google review
Duck was a favorite and pairs well with the sauce. Scallops were very tender and juicy. Lamb rigatoni pasta was a tad salty, but still good.
Lina — Google review
Loved the cheese board, focaccia, fig toast, duck, pastas and wine. They specialize in small plates and bites. Great spot for a work dinner or personal date spot!
Marissa S — Google review
Without a doubt the BEST restaurant in De. Not an exaggeration but a FACT. I came here tonight for a birthday, and my expectations were blown away. Not only was the service phenomenal, but the food was beyond incredible. Compliments the chef 10 times over. This was without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I have had ever. I had the squid ink pasta, as well as a cheese charcuterie board, and the strawberry sorbet was to absolutely die for. 20/10 that good!!

Went for Wednesday Prixe Fixe menu. It was so hard to make a choice before I ever tasted the food, that it's incomprehensible to think about making a decision the next time I visit. The presentation, impeccable; tastes, imaginative; experience, welcoming. An absolute 6/5 experience.
Mike M — Google review
I would give La Fia Bistro more than 5 stars if possible. 5 of us drove from different directions about an hour to enjoy this outstanding Mother's Day brunch. We had a beautiful table next to a bay window. Lauren, our server was the best! But the food stole the show. Delicious cocktails. Best house made scones ever! Wonderful 1st course, especially the crispy potatoes with crème fraiche, chives, and caviar; and the avocado toast. For the 2nd course, the short ribs were the best I've ever tasted. And the spring vegetables with eggs was amazing. The veggies could not have tasted any fresher or more delicious! We are looking forward to our next fabulous meal at LA Fia!!
Clifford E — Google review
I had the pleasure of experiencing La Fia on a Wednesday when they offer a 3 course meal for $46. Everything was tasty and well presented. I’ve walked past this place many times and didn’t think to give it a chance glad I did.
Geneara B — Google review
Went here for our anniversary dinner and it was so good, definitely a 5-star experience. We ordered the focaccia, duck confit, two cocktails, and the bucatini alla gricia. Even though they were out of bucatini, they swapped in a different pasta and the dish was still absolutely amazing. Everything was flavorful and beautifully done, and the attention to detail and quality really stood out. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Such a lovely spot for a special night out!

Italian restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Nestled on Market Street, Bardea Food & Drink is a contemporary bistro that beautifully marries elevated Italian cuisine with a modern twist. Since its inception in 2018, this culinary gem has become a beacon for food lovers, drawing patrons from near and far to savor its innovative dishes crafted from fresh ingredients sourced from local Delaware Valley farms.
If I could give this 10/5 stars, I would. The atmosphere was great. The food was beyond amazing. When each serving was presented, it was its own moment. The eggplant Parmesan was the best I’ve ever had. The branzino was possibly the most amazing fish I’ve ever had. Luke G was our waiter and he was fantastic. He was extremely thorough with my food restrictions and allergens (which are many) and the way he treated made it the most enjoyable restaurant experience I’ve had. He explained everything really well and was extremely attentive. Money was so worth it!
Kevin B — Google review
Bardea in Wilmington is an absolute culinary triumph! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with great service that is both professional and genuinely warm, making you feel right at home. But let's talk about the food – it was truly fantastic! Every dish we tried was a work of art, bursting with incredible flavors and creative twists on Italian classics. It's clear why they've garnered national attention. And to complement the exquisite meal, their drinks were great as well, perfectly crafted and adding to the overall luxurious experience. Bardea is a definite five-star experience and a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable meal in Wilmington.

Upscale with excellent food! The wait staff and servers definitely know how to describe the excellent food they are serving and can help guide your selection. The portions are small but the taste is rich, really a great atmosphere and experience — in their 7th year (2025).

Fantastic small plates, a real culinary experience! Really nice place, with incredibly diverse menu with amazing tastes and presentations. This is a gem of Wilmington. Service is top notch, our server Chanelle was so nice and provided us with outstanding service and the perfect recommendations for us to try. I would happily return to this place, it was a next level culinary masterpiece.

BARDEA SHOULD HAVE A MICHELIN STAR!! This underrated place in Wilmington downtown area blew our minds away. Very few restaurants make classic food into fusion food work from concept to the table -in this case elevated Italian cuisine. And no it's not your regular red sauce pasta or wood fired pizza. Yukta was the sweetest server ever. Her recommendations were phenomenal. I was celebrating my birthday and atleast 3-4 people wished me and made my day. That's how you know the restaurant works really well as a team. Coming to the food - the focus is on small portion which is genius because we got to try a lot of food. Cocktails were the right amount of booze and flavor. We started off with Pop tart - imagine buttery flaky pastry filled with ozzy burrata. Mind blowing and must have. Next we tried chicken parm bao - chicken was melt in mouth and bao was silky soft. For mains we went all vegetarian. Sweet Potato - It was the star of the night. Cannot imagine how they transformed the humble sweet potato into something so delicious. It had like 3-4 main ingredients and that's it. I can have it as meal everyday. Eggplant parm was so light and airy. It wasn't mushy and had the right texture to support stuffed mozzarella inside. To end this amazing joyride we had tiramisu which was drenched in caramel sauce and topped with a kahlua ice cream. Phenomenal. The raspberry panna cotta looked like it came straight off a MasterChef kitchen. This dessert was well thought of and the ingredients paired really well together. I will visit this restaurant again to try the rest of the menu. It's a gem of a restaurant and loved the hospitality. The research and innovation is outstanding. I hope it receives the recognition it deserves.

What an excellent way to celebrate your birthday by having an awesome meal experience at Barde of food and drink. We can honestly say we do not have a favorite item that we tried. They were all incredibly delicious. If you’re interested in trying something new, definitely quite the experience of culinary delight. This is the place to go. We do have to say that they had a scallop tasting on a rice crisp that was just exciting to our pallets. And to top it off because it was a birthday dinner the chef was so nice to sign the menu so I could take it home. ❤️✌🏽🥳👏🏽 definitely a Michelin star contender.

I reserved a table for my birthday earlier this month but left due to poor service. My husband and I were seated, received the appetizer but never got the main courses. We both ordered pasta and that's easy and quick to make. The server who had a rude undertone along with the manager both apologized for the delay, stated the food was on the way, but again nothing came out. Initially, the server said the plates were being garnished but that was about 10 minutes or so before the manager stated the same. At some point, hubby and I got fed up and left because the wait was uncalled for. When we spoke to the manager or whatever she was, she "acted" mortified that we received this type of service and also said it wasn't in good taste. Her actions showed she was full of it with her hands crossed across her chest as though she was ashamed. SMH. My husband wrote a review on the company website, received a note from an owner to speak about the experience but have yet to hear of anything. Needless to say, we won't return despite the food being good.
Poinciana H — Google review
We had dinner here on New Year’s Eve and it was a nice, upscale spot with some fancy menu options. The food was good! We ordered the Margherita pizza and Momma’s meatballs, and everything we tried was tasty (wish I could remember what else we got!). Only downside was the atmosphere, it was really loud, and the tables were super close together. We could barely hear each other, and the group next to us was so loud we could hear their conversation better than our own.

French restaurant
Le Cavalier is a high-end French restaurant located in the formal dining room of a 1913 Italian Renaissance hotel. The dining room boasts historic character with high, painted ceilings and velvet banquettes. The menu features exceptional French dishes such as poached lobster tails in a creamy sauce and French onion soup topped with three cheeses.
Came for a winter Sunday midday dessert with my family, and it was cozy and sweet. The desserts and coffee were all delicious. The space is unmatched. The historical interior is something that cannot be replicated. You must go simply to be in a space that will inspire and delight.
Shaina K — Google review
Arrived with a reservation for a special occasion to an empty hostess stand. Ten minutes later a new group arrives, waltzes past both the hostess stand and our party of five and is immediately seated. This was followed by an insincere apology by the manager, who to be fair did appear overwhelmed. Service did not really improve. As for the food, the steak tartare was the reason we chose this restaurant. The portion was generous, though I would have much preferred an option for toast as a side instead of the fries. However it was overall unremarkable. At least two members of our group were disappointed in their portions, for the oatmeal and parfait. The parfait may have been more accurately described as a fruit cup. Despite the beautiful setting, I would likely not go back.

Gorgeous décoration. Comfortable seating. Intimate atmosphere. Music is pleasant in the background. The food isn't true French, but is inspired and delicious. We had the plateau. We were missing our mussels, but did not bother to ask for a correction. The oysters were excellent. Lobster was nice. Shrimp were nice. Didn't care for the tartare. (Personal preference) I had the onion soup which was VERY tasty. Then I had the Elysian Fields Lamb Loin. The lamb was delicious, cooked true to temp, and tender. I didn't like the chickpeas as the flavor was too much of a contrast to the lamb for my taste. I also ordered local mushrooms but did not receive this side. The dessert was one of my favorites.. chocolate mousse. I meant to eat only a couple bites but nearly ate the whole thing. While my waitress was delightful in personality and graciousness, I was disappointed in missing a couple of items on the menu. She was enjoyable and I would come back to her section in the future. I'd recommend ensuring the server you have has your order down. I also ordered the filet in the morning. It was delicious. I was very happy to receive it rare. Potatoes were cooked to perfection: crispy outside, tender inside & full of savory flavor. The greenbeans were also very good. I'd return to this restaurant again.
Alice — Google review
A really beautiful historical restaurant that's over 100 years old. French cuisine was available, though this morning's menu was not the same brunch menu as listed online, maybe we needed to special request brunch instead of lunch? Service was absolutely amazing. Our server listened to my love of sweeter coffee and took it upon herself to serve my cappuccino with extra sugar cubes as an assisted service. The food was delightful. We weren't too adventurous into the French cuisine since it was early morning still, but my onion soup was a delightful balance of all the ingredients. It was packed with flavor without feeling overall too salty like so many onion soups lean. The haricots verts were buttery and very well seasoned, and my husband's green salad that came with his omelette had a lovely light and well seasoned dressing perfect for a morning meal. The building is gorgeous even when it shows some wear from age like the du pont itself, with so much sculpted detail and a beautiful bar area.

Had delicious brunch: avocado toast with poached eggs. They also serve a high quality tea! Great place with great gatsby era vibe.

Le Cavalier is hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had. From the warm, attentive staff to the music and atmosphere, everything was flawless. We started with fromage & saucisson, followed by a steak au poivre cooked to absolute perfection and a chicken cotelette that was just as impressive. The presentation, the service, the vibe—it all came together like a masterpiece. If you want a night you’ll never forget, this is the place.
Travis — Google review
Beautiful place, no doubt — I guess that’s what the“environment fee” is for. But apparently the environment didn’t include bread basket for my table (every other table had it). Nice touch: asked if bottled water was ‘ok,’ never told about the free tap option, then charged $8. Service? Let’s just say I only existed once my server had circled the other tables a couple of times. If you enjoy paying premium prices to practice patience, this is your spot.
Chenwei T — Google review
Everything was very impressive, but I would like to see more variety in the menu.

Seafood restaurant
Big Fish Grill on the Riverfront offers a casual and family-friendly dining experience with a scenic riverfront view. The restaurant is known for serving hearty platters of fresh seafood dishes that are perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Visitors have praised the warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the exceptional quality and taste of the food. Outdoor seating by the waterfront provides a picturesque setting for enjoying delicious meals such as spicy shrimp and crab pasta, swordfish, or blackened sockeye salmon.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal @Big Fish! The wine (Stella Rosa Moscata D’asti) paired with the Fried Texas Gulf Shrimp, Maple Glazed Carrots and Neva’s Potatoes was delicious! As long-standing customers of this restaurant, we always appreciate the excellent service we consistently receive. The meals are served hot and quick, giving the customer time to savor them. Three Cheers to Jax for a job well done!
Connie W — Google review
The service was great. They kept our drinks full and food came timely. We had an appetizer, meal and drinks. The calamari was the best part of the meal and tasted like the breaded it there. The fish dishes weren’t local and tasted like a routine meal served luke warm. This place could be great for a happy hour or on the patio but besides the service there may be better options in the area.
Tom C — Google review
The service was very good! From everyone all servers were friendly and accommodating. The mussels were small but ok. This fish was well cooked and well seasoned!! Fries were delicious! My friends dish I tasted and it was also delicious!
Mechielle A — Google review
So this place has really cool décor, big game fish throughout, cool models, a great bar, great takeout access, and an awesome location on the river, situated in a very large big-box-style parking lot with loads of parking. The problem is the food wasn’t stellar, and the service was spotty. The clam chowder was too acidic and soupy, not like a chowder. The rainbow trout was really dry and tasteless, as was the Cajun rice, it lacked flavor and moisture. The pasta was decent, but it too was too firm, and the taste wasn’t there. The crab cakes had the perfect amount of crab in them but were beyond bland. So, needless to say, we weren’t impressed with the food or the service, but the location is cool for where it’s at.
Crypto B — Google review
This place is sitting n8cely by the river front. A walk by the river before or after is very nice. They have outside tables as well. It has plenty of parking. Food were quite good. I hesitantly ordered salmon but it very nicely cooked. It wasn't overcooked which I found most restaurants do. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Price is a bit on the high side. Great for an special occasion.

Food was great as well as the service. I loved that it is dog friendly. Food pictured is the: Seafood platter for 2-4 Big chicken Speared shrimp We also did get dessert which was delicious and pieces were huge! Key lime pie was fantastic!

The food was very good even though it came out super late. The young man I had as a server must have been new and he tried his hardest which I give props too. I don't think it was his fault, but the whole establishment seemed off. Had a party 25 and had two servers which they both tried but the whole establishment set them up for failure. We didn't have any silverware or napkins and had to ask repeatedly along with drinks and water. The food even though a 45-60 min wait was hot and fresh. The place didn't seem busy so maybe their short staffed. The automatic gratuity saved their money as from some of the other tables, the tip would have been very low. I think the management needs either to help or set up servers for success. Not once did one manager come to greet and check out us. Food prices where decent and food was really good. Give it a shot, but know you might encounter some really bad service.
Kwelis W — Google review
Food was ok, we ordered cauliflower bites that were really fishy tasting, (the deep fryer is share with fish?).. and BBQ pork sliders that tasted like corned beef and had really stale buns. The drink was a pink kitty, was ok but overpriced at $15 lol The bartender was great, food was not.

the food and service was pretty good. we were just getting apps, and everything was delicious. not a fan of the set up, there was only a couple people when we got there but they sat another table directly next to us, almost elbow to elbow. extremely awkward having a conversation and as more people came in, I was bumped pretty regularly. having anxiety and ptsd, I wasnt a fan

We ordered two sandwiches (with up charged sides - $1.00 each) and one alcoholic drink. The bill was $73.00. Now, I admit that the alcohol was expensive (which we knew) but here’s the thing, my husband ordered a double but when served he was told they ran out and there was no more so they only gave him a single. It was a very scant “single” for $27.00. He did speak to the manager but they would not adjust the price. But, actually the worst part of the experience was that the food , to be kind, was mediocre. My up charged sweet potato fries were barely warm and kind of limp. Maybe because it was a Sunday, the real cook wasn’t there. I don’t know. But I do know we won’t be back. The one good thing was the waitress was very attentive and sweet. She did get her regular tip because they add that onto the bill as a service fee, which of course they don’t tell you unless you ask.
Alyse F — Google review
I stopped here twice while in town for business. Fish n Chips were good. Coleslaw could use some work. Also the NY Strip was good. Servers were efficient and attentive. Tons of beer choices. Maybe too many? All in all, I do recommend! I'll be back next time I'm in town!

I came in for dinner my very first night in Wilmington. My first impression upon walking in is that this is a cute little tavern with a nice ambiance. The host in the front of the house was friendly and very welcoming. I ordered from the Prix Fixe menu for restaurant week, and the service was super slow when it came time for me to get the second course of my meal. Other patrons who came in after me were getting their orders way before me. My server, Lindsay, was super sweet and kept checking on what the hold up was. Since my order was so delayed, she made up for it by giving me a second cocktail on the house. The items I ordered tasted really good, and my Herb Crusted Ahi Tuna was perfectly seasoned. When I got the bill, I noticed the 20% service fee already added. I have seen this mentioned on other reviews. Since the fee wasn't that much, I still added an additional tip for my server as I didn't blame her for the delay in getting my food. Overall, the restaurant is pretty clean, and they have a good-sized menu with decent prices. In spite of the little blunder from the kitchen and the additional fee on the bill, I would give this place another shot the next time I visit the area.
Lisa S — Google review
Stopped by on Wednesday night about 7:00. Not busy, but Grubhub made it a busy night nonetheless for them. The beer selection was crazy as the number of the drafts was ridiculous. To make it easier to pour, they numbered them. No matter your beer tastes, they got you covered. If you are into the harder stuff, they will mix something up. Came for the beer (Surf House) but stayed for the food. I ended up ordering the Crispy Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Spicy and messy as well, but worth the cleanup after done. I dropped a star because there was a 20% Service Fee. I guess it was a forced tip but what is up with that? Not saying it wasn’t worth it but not cool for in-house guests.

Feby's Fishery, established in 1974, is a beloved seafood eatery and fish market located on Lancaster Pike in Wilmington. The restaurant boasts a charming nautical decor and offers all-you-can-eat crab nights, making it a popular spot for seafood enthusiasts. In addition to its delectable dining options, Feby's Fish Market allows patrons to bring home fresh seafood for special events or gatherings.
You could show up here once a week for a year and never get tired of this restaurant. The menu is giant and the food is so good 😋 Anyone aged 3 to 103 would enjoy this spot…unless you happen to hate seafood, in which case seek help. You can also buy top-notch fish and shrimp from their market if you want to make something at home. P.s. The hot sauces are amazzzing 🔥🥫

If you like seafood, this is the place for you. We noticed, there was two floors in this restaurant. Our party of nine (9) had a reservation for 4:15 pm on a cold December Saturday. We were warmly greeted, and immediately seated. Our waiter was Vicky. She was on point-thank you Vicky for the great service. The menu had plenty of fish dishes, types and variations. The food was delicious-no one complained. We thought the dishes were reasonably priced. Several of us had adult beverages, to their credit, the drinks were NOT watered down. I had the pomegranate martini, it was delicious. The well proportioned, tasty dish I chose, was blacken Rock fish, double mash, and vegetable medley. Plenty of parking with ample handicap spaces. I will definitely recommended this place to friends and family!

We decided to have lunch here. Our waitress was a little different. We asked for bread and she said we don't have bread. But it will be 5 mins...wait what??? Such an odd answer. The food was amazing as always! The atmosphere was quiet. After eating, she bought our check to us. The check stated we had 2 cappuccino for 5.00, which made the bill 2.00 more. We both had tea. I told her the bill was incorrect. She immediately said, " Oh, it will change once I key in your check...wait what??? She was just a little weird to us. Overall, the food was great!

The food is incredible; they just need to improve their timing. We ordered two cups of coffee, which took 15 minutes, and dessert took another 45 minutes. We couldn't cancel dessert because the waitress returned with the desserts and the check.

I went with a friend for the all you can eat Dungeness crab legs. The crab was perfectly cooked, the French fries were top notch, and the Coleslaw was the best I've ever had. The service was pretty good too. They came to our table before we finished our plate of crab legs to ask us if we would like another plate. We never had yo wait. The crab ravioli was excellent as well. Be sure to ask for the secret sauce for your crab legs.

Febys Fishery Restaurant is amazing. The food is always so fresh and delicious! The dinner rolls are good. The snow crab legs ate really good. I enjoy the sweet potato fries and the fried shrimp. The lunch and dinner menu both have unique dishes and are worth a try!

Monday and Wednesday are the lobster special days. Being from New England I'm fussy about my "lobstah" and try to schedule accordingly. Honestly, they don't know quite how to cook them perfectly here, but it'll do for Delaware. Service is wonderful. Decor is a bit dated but so is the building, so everything works, at least for me.

Stopped here on on my way back home from VA and was in the mood for fresh seafood and it did not disappoint. Delicious jumbo blue crabs that was meaty and sweet. Steamed shrimp were fresh, very large and yummy. Lobster was also good and so was the lobster bisque. Great service and pleasant atmosphere. Surprisingly busy for early dinner but understandable because the food was so worth getting off the highway. It’s 2 1/2 hours from home but I might have to plan an overnight trip just to have another meal. It beats driving to MD. Looking forward to returning.

First visit to Eclipse. Enjoyed our Valentine's dinner. Food and service were excellent. Calamari was prepared a bit differently than we've had before - recommend giving it a try. Pork chop was very tasty - large portion - taking some home. We will be going back.

Excellent service. I had the Caesar salad with blackened salmon, asparagus fries and I forget the name of the cocktail but I always go with mezcal if it's available. My other half had the scallops which he enjoyed. Food and drinks 4/5, service 5/5. Would recommend.

Consistently yummy food, the fries were super crispy and delicious and the crab cakes were great with very little filler! Strong, tasty cocktails! 😵‍💫 Portion of crab cakes could have been a bit more generous, but otherwise would recommend this place for a nice meal out in Wilmington.

Went for lunch today and enjoyed everything. Excellent service and delicious food. Was very surprised how busy it was at lunch, completely full. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy, otherwise a lovely place

8/09/23 Dinner. My wife and I shared the mini 3 crab cakes appetizer (5). You could taste crab and the ocean in each bite. So good! We also shared the grilled salmon, one of the evening specials. The salmon was deliciously grilled and sat on a bed of arugula, cannelonni beans, sweet corn (and some other ingredients I can't remember right now) that included a red pepper colored sauce which complimented the salmon very well. This dish was exceptional (5). We ended the meal by sharing the eclipse banana split dessert (5) and a cappuccino each (5). The room was a bit noisy, but I didn't care bc the food was so good! Our server, Demetrius, was excellent (5). I will be asking for him the next time we dine there. Also, we arrived without a reservation around 6:00 pm. The maitre'd quietly asked us if we could be finished by 7:30, the time that table was reserved for. It wasn't a problem since we just arrived in Wilmington this afternoon and picked this place off the internet. I'm very glad we did. I asked to see a lunch menu (picture included) in case we go back for lunch. Ambiance = 4.5 Appetizer = 5 Main = 5 Dessert = 5 Service = 5 Overall = 5 out of 5 (my first 5/5 rating) 5 = Excellent: Uniquely satisfying. 4 = Very Good: Better than expected. 3 = Average: An everyday experience. 2 = Fair: Below par. Dirty smells. & / or flies.

Absolutely scrumptious. Amazing service. Everything from the appetizers to the wine to the pasta to the desserts were SO good 🫃🏽😋 I love the lighting in the dining room too… some places are too bright and some are so moodily lit that you can barely read the menu. Not the case here! We got Goldilock lighting here, juuust right 👌🏽 The cheese & meat board is a MUST. I’m just not sure how to spell charcuterie 🤷🏽‍♂️

Mikimotos is a trendy spot in downtown Wilmington that has been serving fresh sushi and other Japanese and Pan-Asian dishes for over a decade. The restaurant offers a stylish ambiance with a bar and happy hour. Guests can enjoy watching their sushi being made at the spacious sushi bar or try out other popular dishes like Crab Rangoons or Pad Thai. Established by Darius Mansoory, Mikimotos is known for its extensive sushi menu, with favorites such as the Hairy Mexican roll.
Had dinner here tonight. Everything was perfect. Our waiter, Danny, was also great. We had the Thai chili green beans, the vegetable drunken noodles, and for rolls we had Al Pastor, Hairy Mexican, and the Chesapeake. Easily the freshest and tastiest sushi around. Delicious!

Delicious food & fast service! Place is very welcoming and they have chefs hand rolling sushi in the middle of the restaurant, which is definitely a crowd pleaser! Sushi was fantastic, calamari wasn’t bad; a tad overcooked but the sauce that accompanied it was great. A nice place for sushi in Delaware.

I ordered purple haze sake, which was very good. Not as busy because I came on a week day which is nice. They service was good and they did have parking which was free on the side of the building. The sushi was fresh and very delicious. I Will be coming back to try out more stuff on the menu. Overall I had a great time here.

Sat at a 4-top behind the bar for Happy Hour. Service was a bit slow but acceptable considering the company. Hairy Mexican didn't disappoint nor did the California Dream, Shishito Peppers, Sushi Tacos or Crispy Calamari. I wouldn't order the Mango Beef. Pretty fatty pieces and small. Lettuce was wilted. They were out of stock on the Rose but had a replacement (Osmin & Cie). Not sure of the new wall painting project but would reconsider to tone down the hard lines and soften up the colors. Atmosphere not as dynamic as it once was. Would go back and sit at the bar.

A LITTLE bit bummed about the new management. Higher prices, less options. Cocktails no longer come with shakers as refills. Less crab rangoons. However, service was great as usual and everything tasted amazing. Overall, great experience.

We haven't been here for awhile. We currently have 3 sushi places on our rotation, but this is our go-to when we want the best sushi or to celebrate something. We sat at the bar and Greta was fantastic. We ordered the Crab Salad, crab stick with seaweed and spicy mayo, Bang Bang shrimp, crispy shrimp with sriracha aioli, Double Fantasy which is lobster tempura, king crab, pepper tuna, and cajun white tuna, and the Hairy Mexican which is fried shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo and crabstick. Everything was on point, we can always depend on Mikimotos. The Asian Pear is my favorite. We weren't considering dessert until Greta convinced us to try the Tempura Brownie Sundae and it was phenomenal. So good that the people sitting next to us ordered it as well.

Located in an elegant 18th-century landmark building at 2216 Pennsylvania Ave, Wilmington, DE, the Columbus Inn is a contemporary tavern that offers New American cuisine and drinks. The restaurant opens at 4:30 pm from Monday to Saturday and serves Sunday brunch from 10 am to 2 pm. Chef Ross Essner's menu features elegant American dishes with a modern twist.
(Update 01/17/25 We went back to Columbus Inn for my boyfriend's birthday because we enjoyed it so much the first time, and once again, it exceeded our expectations! This time, we ordered the Fall Spiced Cowboy Cut Porkchop and the Pan-Seared Jail Island Salmon. Both dishes were packed with bold, unique flavors that made the meal unforgettable. Service was just as good as the first time and the price for the amount for food you get is amazing looking forward to our next visit already. Truly one of the best if not THE BEST restaurants I’ve ever been to please do not skip out on this spot) I cannot say enough good things about Columbus Inn it’s easily one of my favorite places I’ve ever been to! The food was absolutely phenomenal, and I will definitely be back. We started with the soup and two appetizers: the focaccia bread served with burrata cheese and tomatoes, and the burnt ends on top of a potato salad. Both were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For entrées, we had the maple bourbon and black pepper short rib and the steak frites, and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was equally amazing! I loved not having to ask for a refill, and being checked in with multiple times throughout our dinner. Such attentive service is always a good sign of a well-run establishment. I wish I had remembered the servers name because he was just wonderful! What really stood out is how extraordinary the menu is, there’s nothing ordinary about it. The portions were generous, the flavors unique, and the quality of the food exceptional. If you’re looking for a place where every bite is memorable and the service makes you feel valued, Columbus Inn is a must-visit!

Lovely restaurant! Plenty of parking, we were seated promptly and even though the kitchen was busy they did their best to make sure that our food got out to the table as fast as possible. Everything was tremendous. We started with 2 appetizers. The burnt ends had a very flavorful sauce and the perogies were fantastic with the pork belly. I had a couple of Apple Bourbon Smashes and my wife had the Apple Spritz. Both were excellent. I ordered the short rib entree which was tender, meaty, and tasted great accompanied by perfectly cooked broccoli. My wife ordered a pizza which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our little guy gave his chicken fingers and enthusiastic thumbs up. Service was great as he guided us through the menu. We are looking forward to returning.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Columbus inn for an impromptu date with my girlfriend, and I must say that my experience was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. However, what truly made my visit outstanding was our waitress, Lauren. Although it was her first time serving by herself, Lauren demonstrated an impressive level of professionalism and attentiveness throughout the entire meal. She was friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Lauren was an absolute pleasure to have as our server. Overall, I highly recommend Columbus inn to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. And kudos to Lauren for an excellent job she did - she truly could teach the class on waitress etiquette. Five stars all around!

Piccolina Toscana is a popular Italian restaurant located in the vibrant hub of Wilmington's nightlife. For over 30 years, it has been serving fresh and delicious Italian small plates and wines in a contemporary yet rustic space. The restaurant also operates as a cafe for the adjoining Piccolina Toscana, offering takeout options for those short on time. Customers praise the friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service.
Excellent service! Try the serf and turf and a seasonal cocktail like the Roses N Things.

We love the atmosphere and food at Toscana and have been coming for many years. However, we also like to stop at the coffee bar and get gelato from time to time. From our perspective, they are missing a great opportunity in Trolley square. There are no ice cream places and people in the neighborhood would enjoy a walk to get ice cream. The gelato at Toscana is always hard and too icy....seems like it's been there too long. And it is really expensive. The portions are ridiculously tiny for what you get. It's ok to charge that much but a scoop should be much more generous and the gelato should be fresh.

BAD EXPERIENCE We went for my birthday dinner. We had reservations at 5pm on 10/18 . So we were one of the first people in the restaurant. The waiter seemed nice took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and I had a ginger ale. We had the baked avocado appetizer very yummy. When we got our food which was both pasta dishes (I had the linguini and shrimp and husband had like a bolognese) we asked for cheese. You know Italian restaurant that comes around with the Parmesan and grate it over your food. Well they came back with the Kraft Parmesan in a little cup. We did not get the fresh cheese. Out waiter comes back over and asked if they gave us cheese, I said they gave us this in a little cup but we wanted the fresh. The waiter said oh I guess they don’t have any more. As soon as he left the table next to us got there dinner and they got the fresh Parmesan cheese. It seemed pretty racial to us considering we were the only people of color in the restaurant at the time. It just left us in a bad mood and that we were second class because our money spends the same as the table next to us. We will not be returning because of this incident. I wish I was a food blogger so I can show the discrepancies in service.

This review is for Toscana To-Go. We have worked with Taylor on a number of events, and she has been wonderful. She is quick to respond, helpful with choosing the right items off the menu and helping figure out quantities. The drop off/set up has been seamless. They provide everything you could need, and they think of everything you may have forgotten (for example we ordered a cake, and I didn't think to get a cake cutter, Taylor made sure we had 2!). Taylor's care and attention for her customers is unmatched. Between our events I think we have ordered the whole menu and it has always been amazing. The quality and presentation are top notch. I can't recommend Toscano to-go enough, we will certainly be using them again and again!

A lovely Italian restaurant bordering Trolley Square. The service is immaculate as the servers are very attentive and provide anything you need. The food was tremendous and the the drinks were good, although I’d suggest broadening the beer on draught considering draught beer pairs so well with the menu items. We were a larger party so we requested they leave pitchers of water on the table so we wouldn’t have to bother the waitress for water so often, but apparently the owner has a policy of no visible pitchers because it’s a “poor aesthetic.” Anyway we saw plenty of pitchers placed just feet away on a surface way more visible than our dining table.

First time visitor at this restaurant. Our waitress was Sarah. Sarah was friendly, attentive, and make great suggestions on food options. We ordered oyster Rockefeller, clam chowder soup, seafood pasta, lobster roll, and a short rib grill cheese. The portions of huge and the prices are reasonable. The soup was watery but good. There was plenty of substance to the soup. The seafood pasta portion was huge and I brought the rest home. Everything was good. The restaurant is small and street parking is tight. Scalessa's "My Way" Old School Italian Kitchen is a cozy spot in Wilmington, DE run by award-winning chef Donnie Scalessa. The restaurant offers a mix of Italian classics, cheesesteaks, and unique creations like meatball salad. The atmosphere is homey and quaintly small, with delicious food served in generous portions. My fiancé and I happened to stumble upon this when looking for food, and we are so happy we found this place. The food was absolutely amazing, we sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather, and had fantastic service. We highly recommend! They only make ravioli on the weekend and definitely plan on coming back specifically for the meatballs and the ravioli!

Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant. Our server, Angela, was awesome and very kind and informative. I ordered eggplant parm with gnocchi and salad, and my family ordered chicken parm with gnocchi, Italian wedding soup salad, and the cheese ravioli. For our appetizers, we got the risotto balls with their famous meatballs. Not only was it delicious, but the portions were very generous. All of us had to take half of our meals home. 10/10 I recommend to anyone looking for a place that ticks all the boxes. We will be back for sure.

📍 1836 N. Lincoln St., Wilmington, DE 19806 📅 Visits: January 25, 2024 & September 25, 2025 Scalessa’s is one of those neighborhood Italian kitchens that wins you over with warm service, hearty classics, and portions so big you’re guaranteed to leave with a box. If you are visiting and can’t take leftovers with you, highly recommend sharing a meal. Comparing my two visits—first in January 2024 and again today in September 2025—the consistency is impressive, with new highlights that make a return worth while. An additional note, you can walk to Scalessa’s easily from the Brandywine walkway along the river from downtown. About a 2 mile walk from downtown along the scenic trail. ________________________________________ Atmosphere • 2024: Cozy, family-style feel with limited seating inside. A perfect “hidden gem” vibe for locals. Love the pictures and tributes to Sinatra and The Rat Pack. • 2025: Same intimate space, but busier and livelier tonight. Outdoor tables and a fire pit added a nice touch, though the rainy weather kept most people inside. Would like to be able to hear the music be a little louder to enjoy it. The walls had just been painted and new flooring installed, so all the pictures and memorabilia will be going back up shortly. ________________________________________ Starters • 2024: No appetizer—straight to the main course. Lunchtime and we were walking w miles back so we did not want to overstuff ourselves. • 2025: Began with the risotto balls, a special. Absolutely massive, golden on the outside, creamy inside, served with ricotta and marinara. Easily sharable. ________________________________________ Salad • 2024: Crisp romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, Parmesan, and Italian vinaigrette. Simple and refreshing alongside the heavy entrée. • 2025: Nearly identical. ________________________________________ Main Entrées • 2024: Chicken Parmesan with gnocchi—a giant breaded cutlet covered in marinara and mozzarella, served with a hearty side of gnocchi. Comfort food at its best. • 2025: Ordered the Chicken Parmesan with gnocchi again. The chicken was just as tender and cheesy, but the gnocchi seemed lighter and more delicate this time. A subtle refinement that elevated the dish. ________________________________________ Dessert • 2024: No dessert. • 2025: Treated myself to the Chocolate Butter Cake—a decadent mix of cake and brownie textures, gooey but not overpowering, with whipped cream on the side. A must-try finish to the meal. Easily can be shared. ________________________________________ Service & Experience Both visits featured attentive, friendly servers who paced the meal well. In 2025, I appreciated being asked whether to hold the entrée until I finished the appetizer—thoughtful touches that show they care about the diner’s experience. The owner stopped over multiple times to check to see how the meal was. ________________________________________ Final Thoughts Scalessa’s remains consistently excellent between visits. 2024 introduced me to their unforgettable Chicken Parm and gnocchi, and 2025 added the risotto balls appetizer and chocolate butter cake, making the meal even more indulgent. Next visit I am going to venture out and try something different. Not sure what yet, but looking forward to it. ⭐ Rating: 5/5 (both visits) – Dependable, hearty, and delicious every time. If you’re in Wilmington or passing through on I-95, Scalessa’s should be on your list. #Review #Resatuarants #Wilmington #Delaware #Italian #Food

Was looking for authentic Italian dinner on way home from Camden and didn’t want to go to Philly City Center in rush hour on Friday. Found this gem on Google and glad I did. This “neighborhood” restaurant was a truly great find. Rich and his staff were so personable and friendly. Happy to go over the Daily Specials and answer any questions regarding the menu. We had Garlic Bread and Meatballs for Apps. These meatballs (2 huge ones) were amazing and the Ricotta Cheese that accompanied them had a slightly sweet flavor that perfectly paired with the meatballs. Such a lovely taste. I ordered the Veal Parmigiana. It was a very substantial portion and was accompanied with Gnocchi with tomatoes and not sure what else. I chose the fresh-brewed unsweetened with lemon for my drink. We were so full and each of us took half of our meals home, as well as dessert. I ordered a Cannoli and ate it after I got home. It was very flavorful. I truly enjoyed the whole dining experience, and felt that the prices were on-point. I appreciated that we did not feel rushed to leave and were able to take our time and enjoy our meal. We will definitely be back!! Anyone on 95 looking for a stop-off to eat, this is your place. They also serve subs and have tables with umbrellas outside. Also, I recommend arriving early for dinner because they do fill up quickly.

Both times I have had the pleasure of getting food from this restaurant, I have been blown away. I have gotten the chicken Scalessa and it is so good! Chicken is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce is savory, the crab is fresh. The gnocchi are light and fluffy. Their meatballs are little balls of heaven, and their cheesesteaks are stuffed with so much meat. Don’t even get me started on their butter cake!!! Melts in your mouth so good.

My sister and I were visiting Wilmington and had dinner at Scalessa's. We enjoyed the coziness of the space, the warmth of the staff, and the delicious food. We keep talking about that "unforgettable" broccoli raab! We were far too full for dessert, but took a couple of pieces of butter cake and a cannoli for breakfast. Amazing! We agree that if we lived nearby, we would be here all the time. We look forward to coming back someday!

I have been a few times for dinner and this is the second year in a row that we have booked The Quoin for our holiday dinner and both years were spectacular. We usually have a party of about 20 people. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. Highly recommend.

I've gone here a couple of times for a business team dinner and love it every time! 😋 The menu is small but all dishes are thoughtful and tasty. The strawberry salad is refreshing 🍓and octopus was crispy 🐙. They have a good drink selection and creative mocktails 🥂 The restaurant itself has a beautiful interior design that mixes retro and modern styles.

Brought my friend to dinner to one of my favorite places on market st! Tried a few things off the new menu everything was absolutely delicious. Brandon was a delight and very helpful with any questions we had. Kevin checked in on us and was very helpful with our decision on our steak and desserts decisions.

Absolutely amazing!!! We had swordfish, the pork shank, branzino, and the heirloom pasta special. Everything was incredible and Eileen our waitress was amazing. She was able to describe all of the dishes in astonishing detail before we ordered and it was helpful in making the decisions. 100% recommend!!!! We were a little behind taking photos but I’ve included two.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Anniversary Night at The Quoin My wife and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary at The Quoin, and the entire experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance—sophisticated without feeling stuffy, warm and inviting with an open kitchen that felt alive and welcoming. The staff was gracious, attentive, and truly seemed to enjoy helping create a memorable experience for guests. We started with the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo and Crispy Octopus—both beautifully balanced in flavor and presentation. The Piadina Melanzana was a standout vegetarian dish that didn’t feel like a compromise in any way. The Potato Quoins were indulgent and comforting, and the Maitake Mushrooms with truffle vinaigrette delivered deep, rich flavor in every bite. For dessert, the Trifle with orange curd and diplomat cream was a refreshing and elegant ending to the meal. The drinks—Midsummer Nights and the Lavender Spritz—were equally well-crafted, striking just the right mood for the night. What made it truly special wasn’t just the food or the drinks, but the overall energy of the space. There was something romantic, modern, and grounded in the experience—like the restaurant is confident in who it is, and that allows guests to fully relax and enjoy. We left feeling full, happy, and grateful. Highly recommend for any special occasion—or anytime you want to feel a little more connected to your food and your company.

Took my boyfriend here for a belated birthday dinner/to look into booking my office Holiday Party here… Our server, Brandon, gave my guy the greatest experience and recommended the BEST wine for me. Seriously, he listened to what I like out of a red and then NAILED IT! <3 We will be back!

The food and our waitress were fantastic. The manager (young white male) was insensitive, daft and uncouth to a member of our party who needed a service dog. He actually stated to her that the dog needed to be for a legitimate medical necessity highlighting her condition.

Tried a new place in Wilmington, Delaware called Quoin Hotel & Restaurant. Lots of potential in my opinion. We started out on the patio, but it was a bit buggy and lots of street noise so we moved inside. Looks like a great bar and the seating was excellent. Our server was terrific (Bridgette) and super knowledgeable, but service was a little inconsistent considering we had an early seating. I had the duck & pappardelle which was fantastic and the exact right portion size, but only lukewarm. I followed that with the Bronzino with fennel and citrus salad. Really light phenomenal entree! I finished with the chocolate almond torta which was the perfect way to end the meal. Evan’s brick grilled chicken had great taste but was lukewarm. They also neglected to remove the tomatoes even after we had an entire pre-meal conversation about tomatoes and cilantro. Ginny and Evan both loved their shrimp fettuccine (again not quite hot) and Ginny thought the sticky toffee pudding was better than her favorite from Gordon Ramsey!! Well worth a try but be careful about parking (we valeted).

Absolutely Extraordinary food! Best food on the Riverfront! 11/10 Go for the Tasting Menu and prepare to be blown away.

Very quaint small restaurant with a tiny kitchen. Food was very well thought out and creative but tartare should have been fully chilled; onion soup should have been hot. Lamb was excellent and dessert also a treat! Service as very fast. Wine I would recommend getting a bottle for the whole meal, because of how fast it came out we weren’t done with two courses of wine.

Excellent! We did the 4 course dinner for $44 and it was delightful and delicious! We went there early one night and while we were the only ones there then - the Chef did not dial it in. After we told them what we didn’t want (beets, pork, lamb or heavy dairy) we enjoyed a well paced dinner that included things I wouldn’t normally have ordered but loved. Like pumpkin tortellini with a reduction of cranberries and light feta cheese. Seriously great food and perfect portions. We’ll be back much sooner than later;)

Update from 6/5/21: Still 10/10 experience. We’ve been coming here for about 2 years and they debuted a new menu recently. My now husband and I decided to have a small 8 person dinner here after our wedding and everything was phenomenal. They expertly cater to dietary needs and continue to offer amazing service! Thank you!!! The place to come for a consistently excellent meal! We went here prior to the pandemic 2-3 times and they were good, just went again and they did not disappoint. Joe the waiter was everywhere and they had almost a full house. I’ve gotten the gnocchi salad every time I’ve been and it’s always good...the truffle! Venu the owner was also running the wine side and helping Joe. There’s a reason the place was packed! All vegetable options on the menu can be made vegan. I had the gnocchi and the carrots, both amazing flavors!

Amazing restaurant for tapas. Two owners, one runs the kitchen, the other runs the front of house. It is one of the smallest restaurants I've ever been to, but definitely worth visiting! My party and I had a five course tasting and the service, presentation, and foods definitely lived up to our expectations. Each course was unique and, together, we had plenty of food while each serving was relatively small. We were also served some amazing desserts. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Wilmington.

Before entering the restaurant I had glanced in the window from outside where you could see the bar. Closest to the window was a table with a laptop and two plates of half eaten hoagie pieces. The bar itself was empty but had multiple empty glasses, plates of food and a takeout cup from another restaurant. My first impression was off to a bad start for my first time dining at Ciro. We were a group of four people dining out for restaurant week. We selected multiple plates per course so we could taste a variety of dishes. Two of us chose to add a fourth course option in addition to the three courses that were offered. The two options were rock shrimp and gnocchi. Both of the plates had dry herbs in their sauces and the shrimp were not rock shrimp, they were typical baby shrimp. I wouldn’t expect this from a restaurant of this caliber. One of the entree choices was crab cakes. I chose these and was very disappointed. The crab was disintegrated into unrecognizable salty mounds on top of mashed potatoes. We had a melon and prosciutto plate which was very nice as well as the short rib entree. We selected a chocolate lava cake and lemon tart for dessert, both of these were excellent. We also enjoyed a bottle of Tempranillo wine, very nice selection. To sum it up I was just very underwhelmed when I had great expectations.

I dine here often and the food never disappoints - absolutely delicious! We had a private party here for my mom’s 60th birthday and it was beautiful! We had a curated menu including dishes my mom loves and everything was excellent. Outstanding service - everyone is so helpful and accommodating and we never had to wait for anything. If you ever have a chance go and try the chefs tasting menu you must try - you will be hooked!!

Pizza restaurant
La Pizzeria Metro is an exceptional pizza place known for its authentic Italian brick-oven style pizzas. They use high-quality ingredients to create a variety of delicious and unique pizza creations. Their menu offers options for everyone, including a build-your-own pizza choice. The Margherita pizza is a true classic and closely resembles the famous Neapolitan style.
My personal favorite pizza spot, authentic pizza and a nice atmosphere, their appetizers are also very good. I love their wings and garlic knots and the presentation of the food is immaculate. Unfortunately they don't deliver far as I know.

This was the first time going there after hearing about it from a few friends. Decided to try it out on a Friday night for dinner and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere was great crowd was good and you can tell that they have a great clientele. Our server was super friendly, checked on us frequently and ensure that we were taken care of. As for food, it was amazing. Placed an order for appetizers and they came out super quick our main dishes, which were the two pizzas took a normal amount of time and tasted great! We left with full stomach’s and leftovers for the next day.

Everything Pizzería Metro makes is amazing! I’ve ordered takeout a few times and it’s ready super fast, I’ve had big orders and surprised at the turnaround time. The pizza tastes fresh and flavorful, I always order it well done because if not it doesn’t have a good crisp. The wings are delicious and the garlic knots are a must try!

Ordered a NY calzone. I heard good things about here and the reviews. Buuut why did they charge me $16 for dough and 2 teaspoons of filling hardly no ricotta so I pulled the dough off to open it. A mess just look at the photos and the guys who waited on me rude. Had my name wrong and didn’t care to fix it just gave me my food which was cold like ok just take your food and go. Never going back which I’m sure they could care less.

My husband and I love La Pizzeria Metro. We visited the first week it opened a few years ago and hadn’t been back until the start of this summer (2023). It quickly became our favorite pizza spot locally. We love the personal size of the pizzas, and the options available. I am a vegetarian so pizza is a number one option for me. I think the prices are great for the amount of food and the taste. It’s a very nice bar, and the servers are great. We have become regulars and the servers and hosts remember our faces which is really nice to see when you are a local. My husband actually says this place is his favorite pizza around. He gets The Market Street. We will definitely keep coming, and we enjoy the friendly faces. The only draw back can be kids because they can get loud, but that is what it is. Thank you for being a great neighborhood spot.

Great atmosphere and service. I enjoyed the draft beer selections and found that several healthy food options were available. We visited during a special family event that was held on the back patio which provided for a beautiful afternoon outdoors. Not sure if the restaurant serves a variety of pizza dough options, but our pizzas were served buffet style and we only had thin crust varieties to choose from. The pizza was good, tasty; but not my alltime favorite. Place was very busy for a Wednesday evening, and I would return again with friends in the future.

Hands down the best pizza in North Wilmington. The sauce is flavorful and delicious, toppings aren’t skimped, and the crust has the right amount of char but definitely not too much. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and the staff has always been very accommodating when my wife and I have brought our two young children in. I don’t think I can eat any other pizza in N. Wilmington anymore - it will always be Metro.

Not only is this my favorite pizza shop because of the different flavors for everyone and the friendly staff, but La Pizzeria helped us host my friend’s Engagement Party which turned out to be a beautiful night with a great aesthetic. The staff is awesome and seem excited to serve customers! Not pictured are all the different cocktails available!! They have a great drink menu for everyone’s taste. I personally love their dessert cocktails. I wish this place the best and hope they continue to thrive :)

Snuff Mill Restaurant, Butchery & Wine Bar is a surprising find in a strip mall, offering an intimate 28-seat steakhouse experience. The restaurant boasts top chef Robert Lhulier and a curated wine selection by Dave Govatos. Lhulier's use of local ingredients like veal, seafood, cheese, and produce sets this place apart. Visitors praise the exceptional atmosphere with quaint and beautiful decor. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service.
We came last night to celebrate my partner’s new job, so Alfie decorated the table with little stars. It was such a sweet touch! Alfie and Dorey were incredible servers who went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. Their humor, kindness, and recommendations were all amazing. Dorey even gave me a blanket once the sun set and it got chilly (we sat outside)! The cocktails and meals were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Snuff Mill!

Fabulous find. We were visiting Hagley Museum and stumbled upon this great find! Food was amazing! Coffee was wonderful. They promptly added a roman candle to our desert when they heard we are celebrating our 41st anniversary. Michelle was a great waitress, very attentive and friendly. The burger was magnificent! The accompany salad was a wonderful balance, sometimes the balsamic dressing is too tangy. This was perfect. We both had the lavender vodka martini. It was scrumptious! The place is dark and comforting with mirrors when your back is to the door. The restaurant is located conveniently in a strip mall that is U shaped with plenty of parking and other stores to visit. So happy we found this gem. We hope to be back soon!

Everything at Snuff Mill was absolutely amazing From the burgers and steak to the gnocchi and nightly specials. The oysters on the half shell with caviar were especially unforgettable, so fresh and delicious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend for an exceptional dining experience!

Amazing dinner and experience. Our server, Jen, was very attentive and made great recommendations. Everything about our meal was carefully prepared, starting with cocktails (cucumber thyme was delish) to the beef carpaccio, the smoked foie gras (highly recommend), the oysters, the chicken with awesome accompaniments, and the sunchokes just to try! I also ordered a class of Bordeaux wine and was pleasantly surprised to have our server come to our table and open a fresh bottle in front of us. This restaurant is a gem!

We LOVE snuff mill and have never had a bad experience! Dorey has been our server a few times and is always a joy! This time we had the long bone ribeye, which was absolutely perfect. It was just the right amount of food for two! Also, I am an espresso martini snob and this was one of the best. The duck fat donut was also a revelation!

I had dinner at Snuff Mill to celebrate an anniversary. The food was great and the service was even better. This is a small restaurant (with a few outside tables) so I would recommend reservations. We ordered a 20 oz ribeye, focaccia with the seasonal fava bean butter, a caesar salad, and a creme brûlée. The ribeye was amazing and the sides were good. The seasonal butter served with the focaccia was so fresh! Looking forward to my next trip in to try other dishes.

Wilma's is a unique spot in Wilmington that offers a blend of frozen rum cocktails, ten-pin bowling, and delicious food. The venue features a sunny bar and lounge with four lanes for ten-pin bowling, offering a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. Inspired by New Orleans, Wilma's serves up Cajun cuisine alongside craft beers.
We had an amazing experience! We tried the Thursday tasting menu special and it was so much fun. We got to try 12 different things on the menu. The pork belly and crab dip were amazing! The crab cake and shrimp and grits were equally delicious. There were great gluten free options. The manager was very friendly and answered all our questions. The space was both historic and modern. We would definitely come again. Even took home a Photo Booth souvenir!

The high ceilings are everything! Started off with some water and THE SOUTHERN DRAWL to drink. For appies we did the GUMBO w/ grits instead of rice, 10/10 amazing! So delicious, kinda mad we shared it :) My entree was the JAIL ISLAND SALMON.. my first time having couscous and I loved every bit of it. Full of flavor and entree was nice and hot coming out. I ordered BEIGNETS to go and ugh, chefs kiss. Sorry I devoured them before getting one single picture. Now I need to get back there for the bananas foster! Wilma’s upon entry was gorgeous and I had high hopes. Sadly, that changed quickly. We had a reservation for a 5 top and were seated at a 4 top. A 5th chair was promised by multiple associates but never arrived. We were moved to the back of the restaurant to accommodate 5- right in front of the dj’s set up with a speaker placed not 1 foot away from our table- pointed directly at us. The music was so loud, our Apple Watches were sounding alarms warning us of hearing damage due to a loud environment. It was impossible to have any form of conversation- even with the wait staff when we asked repeatedly for the dj to turn it down or move the speaker further from us. I had to go to the bar and ask for water glasses and utensils since none were given to us when they moved our table. Two of us ordered the steak and eggs and our steaks were completely and utterly raw and ice cold. They barely had a sear. I couldn’t eat any of it and would have returned it if we ever saw our server again. I had to return to the bar once again to ask for our check so we could get out of there. The cherry on top was no soap in the bathroom. Hopefully the staff aren’t using that same bathroom to cook the food. The staff was horrendous and rude. The food was inedible and poorly executed, and the atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable aside from being visually beautiful. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone, and I surely will never return.

Torbert Street Social is a popular downtown hotspot that offers excellent cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere. The venue features live music on the patio and has a strong focus on attention to detail, providing an experience for all the senses with beautiful decor and artistic drinks. While some visitors enjoyed the outdoor ambiance with heaters and games, others found room for improvement in terms of volume of music and portion sizes of certain dishes. Overall, it's praised as a cute spot with great staff and very good cocktails.
We celebrated a friends birthday here with a cocktail class with Nate and it was above and beyond! He took time to answer our questions, chat with the group and personalize the experience. Recommend to everyone!!

We went 2 hours before closing, they weren't very busy at all, and we seated ourselves because there was no host stand and no one came to seat us. It took 10 minutes for someone to notice us. We put in an order of 2 drinks, 2 sodas, and 2 shareables, nothing complex or lengthy. The food never came. It took 15 minutes for the drinks, and 40 minutes after that, not only was there no food, but our server didn't bother checking on us once in that entire time, despite trying to wave them over. So even if we had wanted more drinks, we weren't getting them. The cocktail menu is very interesting and my friend's drink was reportedly very strong. As a non-drinker I was hoping for a solid mocktail menu, and the selection was good but far too pricey. My drink lacked dimension, and I don't like paying $14 for 6 oz of fancy juice. We ended up having to get up and track someone down for the check because after an hour, we weren't in the mood for the food anymore--turns out our server never even put the order in. Like, come on, guys. This is basic stuff. There's now no reason for us to go back. I suppose if you want a lengthy cocktail menu and you're willing to wait hours for inattentive service unless you're literally sitting at the bar, this place is for you.

Great cocktail bar! Awesome decor and vibe, with live music on some nights. Many of the drinks have tropical vibes to them. Food portions are generous, good for sharing or taking home for the next day.

A uniquely lovely atmosphere. Warm, lit just the right amount, and comfortable. The service is great, the drinks amazing (I highly recommend The Gatsby, although you'll want more than one) and the food delicious and generous. The chicken bacon ranch sliders are wonderful; just the right amount of crispy with perfect flavors. The crispy parmesan Brussels are what flash-fried Brussels are supposed to be; crispy and tender, not burnt. This is my new favorite spot.

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner after a day at the Nemours estate. This place was amazing. Great ambience to just chill. They had live music for entertainment. Staff were all super nice, and helpful with menu. Loved all the food and drinks we got. Probably the best brussel sprouts I've ever had. I'm also pretty particular about cleanliness, and was really impressed with the open kitchen and seeing the food being handled. Chefs wearing gloves and changing them when they needed to. All in all, a really good experience, and would def go back whenever in the area. Highly recommend.

This place was just simply amazing. The atmosphere, food and drinks are something special. Live music on the patio, but required a reservation, so plan accordingly. Excellent service and attention to detail is on point. It is such an experience for your senses, beautiful decor and the drinks are like works of art. Food is just amazing. Just watching the bartender make these fascinating drinks is awesome. Burning rosemary, omg, the smell of rosemary is so intoxicating, well to me anyway. Go check it out, you will love it.

Glad to see a social hang out spot, with good food, open on a Sunday in downtown Wilmington. This place is brand new, so it wasn't very busy but it was inviting all the same. Tried the Indian place, and was happy with the fresh flavors. Will definitely be coming back here to try the other places.

Decent, family-friendly lunch spot near to I-95. Plenty of choices to suit everyone, and there was a shuffleboard table for entertainment. Parking is attached but NOT complimentary - cost us $7. Overall vibe was more office canteen than hip eatery.

It's a food court(?)/hall with a bar. You can choose the type of food, no typical fast food chains which was great. I enjoyed a vegan meal while my friend enjoyed a non vegan meal from a different place. We enjoyed our meals. I would have appreciated a separate cup of ice for the hibiscus tea I got (it needed ice as it was sold and served cold) and I wish my gluten free bun had been a little less crumbly, with my falafel burger (which was delicious) from Rooted AF! My friend got her eats from Agave. I didn't see any leftovers. I would recommend this place for lunch especially if you have a couple or group of people with different dietary tastes.

Convenient place to hang out and several food and snack options next to the Residence Inn. 5 Restaurant type places, a café and a juice bar. I walked in on a Thursday in the middle of a Trivia game with lots of people participating. There’s also a big bar counter serving beer and cocktails. I got chili hot dogs & curly fries from Market Street Burgers & Dogs the first night, very good and Chicken Tikka from the Kati Roll Wala the next night, also pretty tasty. Usually I’d sit at the bar and socialize but I’m here for training and not drinking until next month. Great spot to hang out if you get bored sitting in a hotel room. Check out the pictures for the other food options.

The restaurant's phenomenal service and delicious food make it an excellent choice for special occasions or simply to indulge in a memorable dining experience.
Absolutely wonderful experience! The ambiance was beautiful and the food exceeded expectations. I’m still figuring out how to post the pictures, but had to share a quick recap! We ordered the steak (fall-off-the-bone tender) and the Branzino, a light fish that was surprisingly generous in portion. It was so substantial that my friend and I, who both ordered the fish, had to leave at least a third of it behind. With two or three appetizers to start, one fish would’ve easily been enough for both of us! The appetizers were outstanding: creamy mac and cheese, seasonal vegetables, and the house Caesar—not your traditional Caesar, but a perfect complement to the meal. To finish, we enjoyed a beautifully pulled espresso and a delicate banana sauté dessert with a small scoop of ice cream, absolutely divine. A special shoutout to Darrell, who made the evening unforgettable. I don’t drink, but he crafted a custom “Petal and Thorn” mocktail for me—vodka-based with grapefruit and rhubarb notes, light and refreshing. His attention to detail and warmth elevated the entire evening. Wishing you all the best for your upcoming wedding, hopefully in Italy! Thank you for making our night in Wilmington, Delaware truly special.

First time at Bardea Steak with my significant other for her birthday, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away. Our server, Myron, was phenomenal—personable, attentive, and perfectly on point throughout the entire evening. Even on a busy night, he managed to take great care of us without ever being overbearing. He refilled our drinks promptly, gave us champagne to cheers, offered to take a photo, surprised us with a happy birthday card, and even brought out a small dessert—without us saying a single word about it! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and every dish we tried was full of flavor. Overall, it was a truly memorable dining experience thanks to both Bardea Steak and Myron’s exceptional service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Shoutout to our waiter Darrel. He was exceptional. The food and drinks are on another level at this restaurant. I highly recommend doing the "steak tasting" as its the best value and best experience to enjoy all of the different cuts of beef. All their appetizers were amazing as well. Now while this restaurant is a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for.

We came here on date night and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was perfect. The lighting, the subtle music playing, definitely added to the evening. The service was great. We had Darrell and he was knowledgeable and very attentive. He helped make our experience even better. Then there is the food. One word, phenomenal. The way the dishes were plated were beautiful and the flavor, taste and cook on everything were perfect. The best filet I’ve ever had. Also, We valet parked and it was a smooth process. We will be back.

Another amazing experience here. Bardea steak hits it out of the park every time. The composed oysters and beef tartar are a must!! We also got the croquettes and some delicious cocktails.

We recently held a rehearsal dinner for 56 people and a welcome party for 120 people at Bardea Steak House and in the garden. The food was out of the ordinary and outstanding. Truly outstanding. The family style service for dinner worked very nicely and added to the friendly atmosphere. The dinner guests and the welcome party guests were very very complimentary about the food and location. The staff was extraordinarily kind, friendly, attentive, and professional. The event planner was organized, efficient, and helpful. It was a very memorable evening. We could not have been happier with our experience at Bardea Steak House.

The food was good. The service was great. The dinner is not rushed. The seating reminds me of a fast food type setting vs a high end type restaurant. Our steak was delicious.

Restaurant
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is a regional chain known for its housemade beers and elevated comfort food staples. Located in an old industrial brick building, the spacious restaurant features a large bar area and their own brewery. The menu offers a variety of American fare, with dishes like jerk shrimp with amazing mango sauce, giant pieces of fish in the Baja fish taco, and excellently cooked steak.
The beer was amazing- such depth of flavor. I had fish tacos, which was SO good. My husband had the gumbo, and the strawberry goat cheese salad- both exceeded his expectations, my daughter had the raspberry pecan salad (a special at the time )- which was so fresh and lovely. The only disappointment was the pub burger that my son had, which would’ve been better if it was thicker meat- the hamburger lost all flavor under the pretzel bun. The waiter was attentive and helpful. Would definitely eat here again! The only comment is that it was really loud- not a place for intimate conversation.
Stephanie V — Google review
Food was delicious. We shared Bavarian Pretzels which were hot and paired well with the cheese and mustard dips. We also shared the Schnitzel entree which was prefect size for sharing. We barely ate the garden salad just because everything came super quick. Service was good. A little slow to greet but not too bad. Overall a great spot I'm glad we found!

Oh my goodness, I has such a great experience here. The open patio area where the garden is located without sitting outside this place and this view is glorious. I've been to iron Hill several times, but I went to the location in Newark on main Street years ago when I lived there in Newark. I wanted to come here because I heard about the closing of the locations and now I live very close to the riverfront so it was easy for me to get an Uber right there. Just 6 minutes drive from my house. I didn't order an entree because I was dining alone but oh the food was so great and I even had some to take back home with me. Unfortunately for me, I had a little incident with my credit card and the waitress was able to help me figure it out. She was very patient with me and she made sure I had everything that I needed at my table. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to come. I think that this particular location is a Newcastle county staple.

We started off with the Everything Focaccia, served with chive butter, and it was surprisingly good! The combination of flavors was delightful, with the savory focaccia paired perfectly with the creamy, herb-infused butter. For drinks, I tried the Blackberry Lemon, which tasted fine on its own, but adding a squeeze of lemon really enhanced the flavor. My partner ordered the Peach Margarita, and it was amazing! It had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, so good that I had to order one for myself! As for the food, my partner, a fan of fish tacos, said they were quite tasty. I went for the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was also good, although I added the butter and syrup which made it taste somewhat too sweet for me. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We arrived when the restaurant first opened and sat at the bar, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

What in gods name is this Caesar salad(pictured below)? It was also $20.99 🤯 I thought it would have came with fresh shaved Romano cheese and GRILLED SHRIMP. This was a SAD SALAD! I also ordered without Caesar dressing, had balsamic. I love iron hill, but wow some of their menu items have gone downhill. The focaccia pieces were hard as a rock. I ate the lettuce and some of the BOILED shrimp, then ordered hummus. The hummus needed olive oil. It’s not like it used to be. No fried chick peas. It was so dry. The service was good. We did sign up for the king of the hill because the beer was really good. My husband’s Turkey burger was delicious and the croissant pudding was better than both things I ordered. Love your strawberry margs.

Atmosphere and location are great, right by the Riverfront with a nice patio and open windows. Interior decor is clean with cool casual appeal. Food was good, got a caesar salad, steak and fries with a brambleberry beer. Steak was cooked just as requested, and fries and salad tasted good, nothing particularly outstanding food wise, it was just overall good. They have great drink options though, which is what they're known for and you should defintely check it out if that's your thing. The brambleberry beer was quite good, interesting and refreshing. Prices are very reasonable too. Check it out if you're in the area and want to grab a bite and sip some drinks by the Riverfront, that's defintely the big draw and is worth doing.

Came here with my group of frat boys the other night and we had a wonderful experience. We sat in a nice cozy booth and behaved ourselves like civilized adults. We usually eat shirtless at the frat house and get rowdy. We got wings, burgers and fries and also some grilled chicken. The food was absolutely BUSSIN and the server was really nice. Cute guy was our waiter sadly I forgot his name but us frat boys always love having cute guys as our servers. This place was really good and I even saw my bar fly aunt here blowing her money away at the bar. She got so drunk that when she got home, she forgot to rinse the soap out of the washer . Talk about being an idiot, right? This place was amazing. We will definitely be coming back me and my frat boys.

Italian restaurant
Mrs. Robino's Restaurant is a charming Italian eatery housed in a renovated row house dating back to 1940. What started as a humble endeavor by Mrs. Tresilla Robino has now evolved into a beloved dining establishment, still preserving its traditional recipes and warm hospitality across three generations of ownership.
Wow..wow..wow! The atmosphere, the staff is charming, and the food is the biggest star. I can see why they have been around for 85 years. The eggplant that is hand breaded, the meatballs, and the homemade pasta were the biggest standouts for me, but everything was delicious. If you love Italian food, this is a must go to!
Cindy R — Google review
They serve large portions. That's it! It gives diner vibe not Italian restaurant. My water was served in a dirty plastic cut, if you look in the picture you can see it, when i realized it i stopped drinking. The complimenty bread was served cold not toasted along side the little butter packs. The calamari fresco wasn't crispy or seasoned and tuff to chew. It's a Spanish spot up thr street that has better and theirs is probably frozen. I got the crab cake that was 40 bucks. It's just a big ball of crab meat again no seasoning. It came with a side of spaghetti and I got a meatball. That spaghetti sauce or gravy (whatever you chose to call it) is terrible. It's a very deep red and super thick, again no flavor. The house made noodles are thick like lo mein noodles, heavy and poorly made.. the meatball was mushy, took one bite and was done. Also ordered was the garlic butter and crab dish with allegedly white wine, yet another flavorless dish, the noodles sucked up the olive oil. Putting salt on the dish made no difference. The bruschetta was swimming in a pool of olive oil and cheese ... again flavorless. The sangria was good, the mule was sweet... overall if your looking for a robust, herby, flavorful italian experience.. this is not the place. Ps, if the restaurant is to respond and say they take pride in the food.. well that pride is too high and if you come down a bit you'll lower your bar.

Sorry food was just not good. Nice staff and atmosphere though. Appetizers and pizza were solid but that pasta drenched with extra extra gravy just was not it. Pasta was pretty dough like.

We started with the Lottie's Special, which was very creamy and packed with shrimp, scallops, and crab! They named this dish after an employee that has worked there for over 20 years! Each of the wines we tried were from different regions of Italy and the KRIS Delle Venezie is actually from the town that the Romeo and Juliet story is based in! I really enjoyed the 1903 Howland pizza! The pizza includes long hots, sausage, olive oil, garlic, and ricotta! Everything was delicious!

First thing I am going to say is, you better come with an apatite, because the portions are gigantic! I've been told I need to review Mrs. Robino's Restaurant for a while now, between friends and messages, and finally got around to it. I was immediately greeted with a warm feeling as soon as I walked in the door, very welcoming and pleasant, which told me I have been missing out for a while. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so a couple of the staff asked what I like, and they suggested I get the Tour of Italy, so I said why not. I placed an order to go, and talked to the owner and her son about other things, next thing I knew, my order was ready, very fast! I grabbed my order and it was heavy, very heavy, like it was a more than I ordered, but no, it was a single container and a bag with fresh bread. Drove to the park so I could sit down and do a thorough review , and boy was I blown away! The cheese ravioli was perfect, firm and flavorful, not overcooked, same with the meat ravioli. The spaghetti was firm (al dente), just the way I like it, and the sauce was simple, not overdone with too much seasoning, just right! The sweet Italian sausage was on point, and so was the meatball, and before I knew it, I was full, completely, and 2/3 of what I ordered was still in the container 😲 The price was a lot less than I expected for the amount of food that I got, and I was told that to go orders were smaller than if I had sat down, which I unheard of these days, and I can honestly say that if I didn't know better, they thought of their customers as family. I HIGHLY recommend Mrs. Robino's Restaurant if you want a great Italian meal for a great price! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars, only because that's all Google allows, otherwise this restaurant would get more!

We had a really wonderful meal here while we were on vacation in Wilmington. The food was excellent! We all 3 had pasta, my son and I had the vodka cream sauce, and it was absolutely wonderful. And the meatballs, Wow! Such big portions! Lots of fresh bread for the table. Nice, clean dining room. Nice staff. Service by Bill T. was outstanding. So professional and on-point! I heard so many good things about this place while I was researching our trip, and I'm glad we visited. We were not disappointed!

The reality was that a mouse ran across my friend's path, as she spoke to our server after we'd paid our bill. Most of the wait staff saw it happen, and everyone tried to keep it low key, but it happened. The owner was there, managing the front, and didn't say a word to us about the incident. We were a party of seven. We ordered wine/drinks, salads, and entrees. The food was moderately priced, ample and solid Italian. Seems like the locals at our table enjoyed the nostalgia of heading back to the old time haunt! One of us even bought a T-shirt to commemorate our dinner. Total shame that even the owner pretended that the mouse didn't run across the floor, in front of service providers and consumers, and went on business as usual. We've all worked in the service industry, and are well aware of obstacles. The lack of communication is sad. There should have been a conversation about the rodent in the restaurant. No one is looking for a free meal, and when you see one mouse running around after you've eaten at a long running establishment, I expect the owner to take responsibility and address the situation. That's just gross all around, in my opinion, but you decide for yourself, Googlers.

I heard about this place from Triple D (Guy Fieri). His recommendation was Legit. Old school classic Italian place. Brought me back to my days of growing up with Sunday Dinners at my Italian Grandparents house. The sauce or (Gravy) was just how my Nonna made it. Just Amazing! Homemade Spaghetti and Ravioli's along with the meatballs and sausage and braciole. What a Wonderful Meal and experience. Service was very friendly and quick. It's too bad I don't live closer. Would be here at least 2 or 3 times a week. Definitely worth the road trip to it and a place you have to check out especially if you are a foodie like me.

Timothy's Riverfront Grill in Wilmington offers an amazing brunch experience with delightful seafood options like shrimp and crab asparagus Alfredo pasta, shrimp crab soup, and generous-sized nachos. The restaurant also provides a great event space with a patio and bar, although some guests have mentioned the need for better parking and longer tablecloths. Despite some negative reviews, many customers find the food to be tasty, well-portioned, and reasonably priced.

I had such a fantastic time at Timothy’s Riverfront Grill! I ordered the wings, a burger, and their amazing crab dip ( EXTREMELY GOOD) every single bite was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a round of drinks, including margaritas, a Hennessy cocktail for my husband, and I tried an espresso martini that might just be my new go-to. The staff was so fun, kind, and made me feel completely welcomed. Shoutout to my awesome bartenders Kourtney and Collin, along with two other team members (a friendly female with curly hair and a male staff member) who were such a pleasure to be around. The restaurant was super clean, professional, and even the other customers added to the great atmosphere. Whoever manages this place should be proud because the team seems extremely well trained and genuinely enjoys their work. My sister actually had a baby shower here years ago, and I enjoyed it back then , and I’m happy to say I enjoyed it just as much now in 2025. I’ll definitely be coming back , highly recommend!

I bike up to the Riverfront from Historic New Castle and often treat myself to the Salmon with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. The food is prime delicious including the service. I sit outside so I can enjoy the view and the experience. This last Sunday was over the top. I had the sweetest young female server. The table behind me had 4 women of color who were really enjoying their time together. Their laughter was uplifting and infectious. I tipped the waitress for her stellar service, then as I was leaving asked the group of women if they wanted me to take their picture together on one of their cell phones. (I love photography) They said yes and profusely thanked me. My point is this is one of two of my favorite restaurants. Enjoy the experience!

Really enjoyed my visit here! Justin, our server, was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food was incredible — easily a 10/10 on flavor. The vibe inside feels both chill and familiar, almost like a spot you’ve been going to for years. I can already see myself stopping by again whenever I’m in the area.

Timothy’s is a hidden gem accessible from the Riverfront. The staff were genuine and the food is excellent. They have an expansive menu with pub choices and unique dishes with crab and shrimp (Alfredo, Crab Cakes, Quesadillas). Their Happy Hour menu is a great quick stop when walking the Riverwalk.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we wanted to dine outdoors, but there was a 20-minute wait with no list. We chose to sit at the bar instead. After sitting i realized I forget my ID , I returned after going back home to get it as i didn't live far and was greeted by Colin, the bartender, who remembered our drink orders. Although he expressed that the kitchen was experiencing delays, my soup which isn't pictured ( crab & shrimp chowder 6.5/10 ) came quickly, and the wings (8.5/10) and pizza (9/10) followed in about 10 minutes. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’ll definitely return.

Different Cheesesteak #1195. The meat, cheese and fried onions deserve better. 2 people (who work here) told me they switched to seeded rolls. I did not get a seeded roll. You can see in the video that my roll looks old. My pickle was not crispy. The fries were non-discript. The guy sitting next to me warned me about the fries. I was a little disappointed by the beer selection. Other than that it was a nice visit. The ladies sitting to my left were pleasant. Their wings were huge. The guy on my left was chatty. One of the bartenders was very friendly

First time visitor here, as it’s within the Big Fish Grill (BFG) family. The food, service, and atmosphere is better the BFG. We ordered cheesesteak spring rolls, crab bisque soup, shrimp quesadillas, salmon entree with mash, & broccoli, and a cheeseburger with fries. Everything was good. The soup wasn’t too salty and the texture was on point. Julie was our waitress. She was nice, very attentive, and made sure we were ok. We have NEVER received this type of service or attention at BFG. They have TVs for you to watch sports and a fire place in the rear that kept me warm on this cold day. It wasn’t crowded or busy. We could actually have a conversation without yelling. The atmosphere was great. If you’re looking for a lowkey spot, where you can enjoy your family and friends and receive great service and food check them out.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Little Italy, Walter's Steakhouse is a cherished independent chophouse that exudes an old-school charm. This iconic establishment, rooted in Wilmington's culinary history, specializes in slow-roasted prime rib and expertly cooked steaks. Guests can also indulge in a fresh raw bar and delightful seafood options. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, Walter's never fails to impress with its tender cuts of meat and delectable sides like their renowned vodka sauce.
This is one of the strange instances where I visit a number of times just to get a feel for the place. Walter's steakhouse is located in Little Italy and has wonderful reviews so instead of hitting one of the chain steakhouses, we opted to try here. It's also very close to us, so that was a bonus. Our first visit was rather tenuous: in the time that we confirmed the appointment, we had a series of bad luck happen and thought we'd miss going altogether. When I called to let them know this, the hostesses response wasn't a late charge or punishment for short notice but rather "are you ok?" She then said that if we decided to come that there would be room for us. Glad we went after all! We were taking exceptional care of that evening and much of the same for our second visit. While I know that the main draw are those delicious prime rib steaks, I've been enjoying the salmon of the day specials and am happy to report that they do not skimp on the seafood! Every single bite had a piece of either salmon or shrimp. All very fresh! Tonight was very special. The last time we were there, it was a 28th anniversary celebration. This time was a last hurrah before the wife starts chemotherapy and radiation tomorrow. She ordered the king size prime rib, and I got the seafood Tuscan pasta. Once again, outstanding quality meal. This one was HUGE shrimp and crab chunks with spinach in a blush sauce. Oh, and the appetizer? Bourbon meatballs? Get your own or else you will find yourselves fighting for the last ones. What was really nice was that the owner was was going around to everyone's tables to see if they were enjoying themselves. It was a great night with ambiance and amazing food. I'll concede that it's a bit pricey, but for beautiful memories, it's priceless. Oh, they have a nice bar, which has specials during the week, and price fixe meals on certain days. Everything is recommended from my standpoint, so you can't go wrong and it's perfect if you want a Fred Flinstonian slab of cooked to order meat. Thank you to the owner and staff for making these visits possible and we will absolutely be back!

We visited Walter's for the first time. It is old school inside, with a lot of dark decor and furnishings. The staff is very friendly. We started with strawberry prosecco, which was described on the menu as garnished with strawberries. We had several, and none were garnished. We ordered the pork belly appetizer but it was not pork belly. It was just a slice of pork sitting on naan bread and it was very chewy. We ordered the Filet Edmund which was supposed to be filet mignonettes with crab meat and bearnaise sauce, and the Delmonico. The salads that came with the meals were mediocre. The tomatoes on my tomato and mozzarella salad were grocery-store tomatoes and not very good ones. The Caesar salad was just a plate of romaine. I expected the mignonettes to be 2 small filets, not chunks of filet, so they were overcooked and the bearnaise was just gravy. The crabmeat on the Filet Edmund was fantastic but not with gravy. The Delmonico was tasty but had some fat. None of it was bad, it was all just ok. We paid way too much for a just-ok steak dinner where several things weren't even what was described on the menu.

I just had a small party of 30 people here yesterday for my son’s baptism. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The meat was amazing and everyone was raving about the dishes. Side note the had the best vodka sauce I’ve had in a long time. I’m very pleased with everything.

Enjoyed 1st time visiting Walter steakhouse. Seated right away. Friendly staff. Samantha our waitress was great! And covered 5+ tables. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing with jazz station playing in the background with dim lights and candles lit at each table. Liked when guest left they changed table setting with clean white table cloths etc. Food took a bit to come out but was worth the wait. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Exceptional 1st dining experience. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and intimate. The greeting staff was warm and inviting. Our servers were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and personal. There's a level of detail that's appreciated and makes a difference, such as warn bread, consistently getting checked on, drinks topped off without asking, not having to search for your server, etc. My NY strip was outstanding...perfectly seasoned/cooked. The appetizers (crab dip and cheese board) were great, as well as our bananas foster. Looking forward to making another appearance in the future.

Tonic Seafood & Steak is a modern eatery known for its creative seafood dishes and extensive wine selection. It has been recognized as a finalist in two categories in the Best of Delaware awards. The restaurant offers a convivial bar and spacious indoor dining, along with an outdoor patio ideal for people-watching during warmer months. Customers have praised the delicious food, great service, and enjoyable cocktails. However, some have noted issues with gnats at the table and proximity of the bathroom to dining areas.
In a city where restaurants come and go, Tonic (formerly Deep Blue) maintains the exact mix of food, environment and service to beat the odds! The food is exquisite and the environment is warm, upscale and inviting. The service brings everything together! Our server, Sky explained each dish perfectly and quite impressively! Tonic, formerly Deep Blue, remains the King of Wilmington restaurants! 6 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've been here before, but I recently went back to see if there was a change. I'm not sure if I will be coming back again. I wasn't crazy about the drinks I got or the selections. The appetizers were just okay, and so was the Fillet steak. The presentation was not so good. Wasn't blown away. For the price of the bill, I wasn't satisfied. The atmosphere for a Friday night was very quiet. Service was very good, tho.

Such a great spot for a night out in Wilmington! ✨ Started with the Blueberry Mule 🫐🍸 and it was super refreshing — perfectly balanced between tart and sweet, without being overly sugary. The fresh blueberry flavor really popped and made it feel like a summer cocktail in a glass! For dinner, the salmon 🐟 was absolutely incredible. It was cooked to buttery perfection and paired with juicy, lightly roasted pears 🍐 and crisp-tender broccoli 🥦 — such a creative and delicious combination that brought out the richness of the fish. The Caesar salad 🥗 was classic and satisfying, with a creamy, flavorful dressing. The steak 🥩 on top was decent — cooked well but could have been a little more seasoned to stand out. The honey-roasted carrots 🥕 with goat cheese 🧀 were a fun side dish! Sweet and savory with that tangy goat cheese kick, although the portion size was definitely on the smaller side. Overall, the food was really good and thoughtfully prepared 🍽️. It’s definitely a little pricy 💵 for Wilmington, but you can tell the quality is there. Great vibes, friendly service, and would still recommend if you're looking to treat yourself! 🫐🍸 Blueberry Mule 🐟🍐🥦 Salmon & Pears 🥗🥩 Caesar Salad 🥕🧀 Honey Carrots ✨ Good vibes ✨ Solid experience

The service I received while dining here was truly fantastic. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted very warmly by the hostess. My servers name was Angelica, and she was friendly and very attentive throughout the whole meal. As for the food and drinks, everything was superb. I ordered the french onion soup and the roasted boneless 1/2 chicken, and both items were very flavorful and delicious. My meal also came out super fast in spite of them being really busy. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great ambiance, and they have a great food and drink menu at reasonable prices. After reading other reviews, I could see why this place is so popular. I will definitely make it a point to dine here again the next time I visit the area.

Alright, get ready for a review that'll make your mouth water and your fingers itch to make a reservation! Listen up, fellow foodies and romance seekers! My recent expedition to Tonic Seafood & Steak in Wilmington was nothing short of spectacular. Picture this: a balmy evening, stars peeking out, and my amazing girlfriend by my side as we dined al fresco in an atmosphere that whispered sweet nothings. Let's talk food, shall we? I dove headfirst into the duck, and oh boy, the flavor was an absolute symphony! My girlfriend, meanwhile, was in pure bliss with her crab cake. Seriously, every bite was a testament to culinary artistry. And the drinks? Forget about it! They were so good, they practically danced on our tongues. Now, let's give a standing ovation to the service. Our waiter was a true maestro! Not only was he a wizard with the extensive whiskey, bourbon, and scotch selections, but he even concocted a custom cocktail for my girlfriend that was spot-on! Talk about going the extra mile! We kicked things off with the calamari and beef short rib egg rolls – a delightful duet of textures and tastes that set the stage for the main event. Yes, it's a tad on the pricier side, but trust me on this one, every single penny was an investment in an unforgettable experience. Fast forward, and I've already played restaurant matchmaker, recommending Tonic to one of my best friends. Guess what? They were absolutely blown away and showered me with gratitude for the tip! So, if you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in Wilmington, a place that nails the food, the drinks, the service, and sets the perfect romantic mood, then Tonic Seafood & Steak is your spot. Trust me, your taste buds (and your date!) will thank you. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit!

Went here for dinner during happy hour and had a great time! We ordered the brussels sprouts, fried calamari, and wings, all were tasty and hit the spot. Fun atmosphere, good deals on drinks, and good food. Would definitely go again!

An enjoyable evening with family! Our first time at Tonic, the servers were fabulous! Teddy was our waiter and he was awesome; attentive n fun! Now onto the food n drinks the wine selections n beer were delicious, the appetizers were good , the poter house steak was cooked to perfection, the seafood risotto was fresh n delicious. Exceptional experience! But the company and laughs were the cherry ontop.

Service is always great and food is delicious. Solid place. This time had the clam chowder, ribeye, loaded baked potato, sauteed spinach, mushrooms and asparagus. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Definitely had a cocktail and two types of wine, all of them good. On other visits have had the burger and fresh cut fries (my fave), seafood salad which is amazing, the deviled eggs, but the item that surprised me the most and an item I don't normally get out is the hummus, it's delicious. Also hosted a surprise birthday here bc the food is so good but the coordinator was amazing, staff was impeccable and everything turned out exactly how I wanted.

Grotto Pizza is a family-friendly chain that offers a wide range of Italian classics. On this particular visit, a group of 11 people were promptly seated at the restaurant. They ordered three large pizzas as well as some cheesy beach fries and beer for the adults. The server provided quick and attentive service while also being friendly and personable. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, although they were disappointed that broccoli and cheese bits were not available.

Went in for lunch with my family. We ordered a junior pizza for my little girls and it was a piece of paper in the pizza crust. I immediately got our servers attention, there was no apology or “would you like anything else”. We were only offered a slice of pizza. It was out of our normal routine to go to this pizza place. I don’t think we will be going back.

Friday September 5 2025 6:00pm My kids and I normally grab "take out" on Fridays. We ordered a med pizza, large fries and a chicken Parmesan with pasta. The kids ate the pizza.....they are kids so pizza to them was great but to me it was trash. 3/5 The fries were basic but surprisingly good. 5/5 The chicken Parmesan with pasta was nasty. The marinara tasted like "bay leaf"...that's it just eat a bay leaf. Chicken was semi rubbery. I stopped chewing and spit my last bite in my napkin. My extra marinara sauce didn't even match (taste, color, texture) the sauce on my noodles.

Finally visited this place and found out what all the fuss is about. Great pizza! I mean, for not being New Jersey pizza that is. But a lot closer for me so I might have to run a monthly trip for a slice when I can't get to the beach. Thin crust, nice sauce, perfect cheesiness. Also has an eggplant tower thing, delicious. 10 out of 10, will be back again.

Offers pizza by the slice that’s pretty good and also beer. One of the better “waiting rooms” if you’re getting a car serviced nearby. Seems to be family friendly too. I ate the pizza before taking a photo so have this beer instead. Cheers.

Taco restaurant
El Pique in Wilmington is a genuine Mexican eatery hidden away with an extensive variety of tacos and other traditional dishes. They offer enticing deals where you can select multiples of 5 tacos. Additionally, they provide a wide selection of sauces, ranging from mild to extremely spicy, though be warned that the spicier options are quite addictive. This place is ideal for takeout or a quick snack. It would be beneficial if they extended their operating hours beyond 6 pm and promoted it more actively.
Wow, El Pique is definitely worthy of the praise I've been hearing. One day I'll brave some of the unique options like tripe and head but for now, the pork and beef tacos will suffice. Much love to the chef.

Fake fruit drinks . Disappointed , I was tough paying for a natural fruit drink, but they sell tang water for 5 dollars. So embarrassing for a Mexican image.

If I was only rating the food, this place would get 5-stars from me - not perfect, but darn good especially for the price. The location however is inconvenient and uninviting from the outside. The restaurant itself is small with cafeteria-style tables, but clean otherwise. The staff was pleasant and the food didn't take long, but to be fair we got in before they became very busy. I thought the food presentation was nice (see photo) and the taste just as good. Everything was fresh! One quesadilla easily filled me up, though there are many sides to pick from. A better location would do wonders for the place, but as-is El Pique is an every-now-and-then spot for decent Mexican food.

Located in downtown Wilmington, the iconic HOTEL DU PONT originally opened its doors in 1913 and underwent a luxurious renovation in 2018. The hotel offers refined rooms and suites, featuring elegant Darko cabinetry, spacious sitting areas, and large bathrooms. Its standout feature is Le Cavalier, a fine-dining restaurant renowned for its exquisite French cuisine. The hotel's solid construction from the early 1900s ensures a peaceful stay with wide hallways and soundproof walls.
This hotel has a true spirit of hospitality with everyone always smiling + at your service. The rooms are large + lovely. With a variety of spaces it is perfect for all events large + small. The staff is kind + helpful. It is conveniently located near some wonderful restaurants and DE.CO Food Hall is connected with great options for guests!

I'm a local and have been to several traveling musicals there in the last 6 months. It's a beautiful place with an old-world charm. The restaurant, bar and event rooms are beautiful, although I've never eaten there. The only improvements I can recommend are to update the bathrooms around the theater and keep them clean and stocked during shows. During intermission of a show I saw in Feb 2025, half the ladies' stalls were out of t.p. The benches on the ladies room look to be the same ones I had my picture taken on in 1986. I also wish the DE.CO food hall was open on a weekend night longer.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff throughout the hotel was consistently polite and helpful. My room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay — including a very cozy bed and reliable Wi-Fi. The location was also convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby restaurants. I also appreciated the little details, like complimentary water and a well-stocked bathroom. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Reading some other reviews, I don’t know if I lucked out or maybe just had a good experience of my own. I shared a review on Tripadvisor, but did want to post here as I like to acknowledge the hard work of employees. My stay was just an overnight from 10/12-13. However, from the minute I pulled up the guys outside were outstanding, welcoming and truly sincere. Onto the young man that was on the front desk, he was just great. I had indicated that I was there for a funeral overnight and later in the day a personalized sympathy card with some amenities, from the hotel, was in my room and I really appreciated that. My room was outstanding. I had a beautiful comfortable room. The bathroom was immaculate. I think it was the design and size overall of the room that I really appreciated. I know they’ve done upgrades to this hotel but when you’re in it, there certainly is still this historic charm that’s amazing to see. My only disappointment was the restaurant downstairs. Since I’ve ate there before when I lived in the city, the menu sounds great, but the caliber of the food just was not there. Considering the prices, they need to work on the quality of the food. Also, I can’t understand how you don’t have fresh squeezed orange juice, or rye toast? Anyways, there are other food options around in the area. In the end, I would definitely stay here again for location and the accommodations. Hats off to the staff, I thought they were great! Much appreciated.

Very disappointing experience at this hotel. It’s suppose to be 5 stars I give it three at best. Our suite was very nice except of the large soaking tub. It leaked and has no stopper so I had to call engineering twice. Rm service? Forget about it on two occasions we waited for over an hour and had to call back down several times to complain and ask where is it? Twice we received stale Cheerios at 9 bucks a bowl! I could go on and on. Suffice it to say this grand old dame has seen much better days! Stay home!

If you go to Wilmington stay here. I could go on about the rooms, and bar, and food, and service....but you have heard all that before. Just choose Hotel Du Pont. You absolutely will not regret it. In a field of very average big chain hotels downtown, Du Pont is a gem in the style of the grand old hotels...of which there seem to be fewer and fewer. Stop scrolling and reading reviews...book the Hotel Du Pont and enjoy yourself. Oh...and the gym is one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen.

Banks' Seafood Kitchen and Raw Bar is a stylish restaurant offering fresh seafood and a raw bar, along with riverfront views, a patio, and happy hour. The food is generally good, with some standout dishes like lobster mac and cheese and tender steak. The service is attentive and professional, although the prices are on the higher side. Despite some minor issues like watery cheese in the mac and cheese dish, overall dining experience was enjoyable. Reservations are recommended for a smooth process.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience here. If you enjoy fresh seafood this is the place. A beautifully furnished restaurant with inside and patio seating on the Christina river. The restaurant features a large selection of delicious fish and shellfish dishes, fine wines, cocktails and beer. The food is prepared in a well trained and skilled kitchen and served by knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant staff. There is something for everyone here and it’s all outstanding. If you have the opportunity come and enjoy!

Had dinner here tonight. Enjoyed the good! Wasn’t crowded when we came in. Was able to get seated right away. Had dinner with friends. Shrimp Boil was tasty! Trout was really good! Snapper was good but done a tad more. Still tasty! Old fashioned was good and had a kick to it! Nice cozy atmosphere! Seating inside as well as outside. Also booth seating and a bar.

I patronized Banks Seafood recently, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The customer service was excellent, we sat at the bar, and the bartender was amazing (I wish I could remember his name!). The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, clean and welcoming. As for the food, it was hit or miss: I started with the New England clam chowder, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The consistency and taste were just off, definitely not the creamy, flavorful chowder I was hoping for. Ended up sending it back. The crab cake platter was the highlight, absolutely delicious and well-seasoned. The seafood nachos were just okay; they lacked the flavor I was expecting and could use a bit more punch. Overall, I’d come back for the great service and crab cakes, but I hope they revamp the clam chowder recipe!

Buckley's Tavern is a historic eatery that offers classic American comfort food and an inviting Sunday brunch in a charming Colonial dining room. The menu features an array of delectable appetizers such as Cheese Steak Eggrolls, Nachos, and Caesar Salads. The nachos are described as perfectly crunchy while the housemade dressing for the salad is praised for its exceptional taste. Crab cakes are also available to-go and are said to be impressively delicious with minimal filler.
My family and I had an excellent lunch at Buckley's yesterday. They loved their grouper sandwiches and I loved the French dip served on delicate French bread. We enjoyed the owner/chef coming out to say hello as well. Nice touch!

I had the mushroom soup to start, it was pretty good but not the best I've had. For the main I had the salmon and it was excellent. It was delicious and prepared perfectly. The side dishes were mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley of broccoli, carrots, squash, and asparagus. Both were delicious. For dessert we had the lemon cheesecake which was excellent. Service was spotty at times but we did have a large group. If in the area again I will definitely return.

Had a wonderful experience at Buckley’s Tavern, and the outdoor seating was perfect for a sunny day, as shown in the picture! The ambiance is charming, and it’s a great spot to relax while enjoying delicious food. The meatloaf was the star of the meal—flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and very satisfying. Great food, service, and atmosphere!

The reason for getting together here with the family was tough, but the food service and atmosphere were top notch. Started with the crab cakes which were delicious. The Game Burger was excellent, you could really taste the difference in meat with the bison and elk compared to a standard beef burger. Finally the blueberry cobbler. On the sweet side, but excellent, served warm and with a scoop of ice cream. Great visit!

I enjoyed the back garden. Unfortunately, the taps were out of order for a few weeks, so I had to settle for bottled beer, which was acceptable. I ordered the Thai curry soup, but it tasted mostly like curry powder in coconut milk. The food was decent but a bit overpriced. However, considering the town and the ambiance, it was fine overall. I would visit again but try something different next time.

Guests have praised the attentive service and the waiter's helpful recommendations on menu items. The cocktails are described as small but potent, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Harry Savoy’s never disappoints! The prime rib was absolutely perfect — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We also tried the aged ribeye, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For our appetizer, we had the seared lamb, and it was incredible — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were great, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. A truly exceptional dining experience all around!

From the moment we sat down, our server, Ryan, made us feel as though we were the only table in the restaurant. He greeted us and had that rare ability to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Ryan guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm, offering personal recommendations without ever sounding scripted. When I mentioned I was torn between two entrées, he described each in vivid detail, even noting which wine would bring out the best in the flavors. His suggestions were spot on. But what truly stood out was his warmth. He remembered that we were celebrating a birthday and surprised us with a beautifully plated dessert, complete with a candle and a handwritten “Happy Birthday” in chocolate. It wasn’t just a nice gesture—it felt personal, as though he genuinely shared in our celebration. He definitely contributed toward my great birthday celebrations.

First time there for lunch. Carpet is kinda sticky and has a noticeable funky smell. Lunch choices were not amazing. I had the sliced filet with asparagus. Beef and sauce were great. Asparagus was rock hard and raw. ( Soooo tired of restaurants quickly branching veggies so they stay green but ACTUALLY COOKING them! I was to eat them...properly cooked. ) So for what I expected from a top steakhouse like Harry's, I was honestly disappointed. Not up to standard. Sorry.

🎊🥂 NYE at Harry’s! Deliciously curated prefix menu! The seared rack of venison and aged ribeye were spectacular. It took about an hour for each course to arrive to the table, even when ordering ahead. Ordering the dessert course felt like taking a chance at a roulette table, you never know what was available when you ordered. One minute they had it, next minute unavailable, ten minutes (after you ordered) later they were restocked. Nevertheless, everything was cooked and plated to perfection. *This is not a quick dining experience, plan on 3.5+ hours.

Sullivan's Steakhouse is a swanky chain known for its beef, seafood, and cocktails. The New York strip and Jumbo Crab cakes are popular choices, with the hostess ensuring that your steak is cooked to perfection. Some diners find the waiting area cramped but praise the efficient seating process. The French onion soup, NY strip, garden salad, mashed potatoes, and Coconut Tiki cocktail receive high praise.
The food was FANTASTIC. The fact that they perfectly made a Pittsburgh steak perfectly blows my mind!! My husband set the reservation for my birthday but nothing was set up for my birthday. My server was really good , service was slow though. I wasn’t too thrilled with my food, I ended up sending the gratin back it definitely was underwhelming and the lobster had zero flavor. I had crab cakes but they were grossly underwhelming. The Mac was undercooked but seasoned pretty decently. The creamed spinach was way better than the sautéed spinach. My husband had the chicken which was cooked really well just unfortunately under seasoned. I can’t say I’ll be back.

Hollywood Grill is a classic American diner serving up all the favorites, from omelets to salads and sandwiches. While some find their cheesesteak to be standard, others appreciate the generous portions of bacon in dishes like Carole's BLT. The restaurant offers a clean and inviting atmosphere with pleasant and attentive staff. With reasonable prices and a good selection on the menu, including options for vegans, it's a recommended spot for a satisfying meal.
Great service great food nice atmosphere the waitress was a very polite and courteous towards us the food came out very fast and everything was delicious.

Where do I start. Our waitress literally was reaching across our heads to put napkins in the table which she actually threw them on the table. I requested my egg to be scrambled hard with the requested ingredients and it came to me as an omelet. I explained again what I wanted and the waitress stated oh I didn't know that was what you ordered. My egg came back and was still not correct. The pancakes were very good. We asked for the manager who was very nice and she apologized for my egg and took it off my bill.

Thank goodness Hollywood Grill does everything else well and doesn't rely on their Cheesesteak business. Very standard cheesesteak. Carole's BLT had a ton of bacon. You have to eat at them all if you want to say you ate at them all, so I got a cheesesteak at the Hollywood Grill.

This day was BLT and chips with my usual cup of coffee. The BLT here was loaded with bacon - my favorite part. 👍 Lettuce was green and crisp and tomatoes firm and delicious. 🤗 Oddly, the dill pickle (not usually the highlight of a meal) was sour in a way a dill pickle should be. 👏 My boss had eggs with smoked salmon and rye toast. Said it was prepared very well. 👍 A third member of our party had a BLT as well. The only thing I would have preferred was fries instead of kettle chips - 🤔 but, then again, they wouldn't be a Hollywood Grill if they had done that. 😛 Our server was pleasant although I didn't catch her name 😣 and didn't want to seem absent-minded in asking her again. 😥 If you're in the mood for a great time at lunch go to HG!!! 👍👍👍Kudos to Hollywood Grill for making my lunch today an excellent one!!! 😎

Diner with really good food. Appetizers and entrees were on point. Food was served quickly with a genuine smile from the waitresses. Price was right too. Take a chance on this spot for an all around pleasurable dining experience. 👍🏾

Typical diner food served in a diner way. The arugula salad with goat cheese was disappointing for the price. I think I would have been better off ordering typical diner food like my friend did. She ordered the beef liver with mashed potatoes and gravy. It looked great. I mean for liver.

Crabcake sliders were delicious. Server was polite, professional and friendly. The prices were a little high, but quality was good. Yes, we will be back. Thanks

Bonefish Grill is a contemporary grill chain that specializes in seafood-focused dishes, along with steak options and a selection of cocktails. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring delicious Bang Bang Shrimps, renowned as the best shrimps you'll ever taste. The Blackened Baja Fish Tacos are also highly recommended, enhanced by the flavorful mango and accompanied with crushed Pineapple Martini. Additionally, don't miss out on trying the delectable Bang Bang Tacos.
It's a nice restaurant with, a good menu, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We came here for my wife's birthday dinner and we had a nice time. I love the bang-bang shrimp, and I recommend it to anyone visiting the restaurant. Thanks for the birthday cake, my wife loved it.

This was my second time dining at this Bonefish location and both times, I had a positive experience. The hostess that seated us greeted us warmly and promptly provided us with a highchair for our little one. Our waiter Craig was friendly and attentive. He was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions regarding the dishes. The food was tasty and satisfying, however, my husband and both I noticed that the portions of our mashed potatoes were much smaller this time. I would also say my seafood stuffed cod could have used more seafood filling. Since it was my birthday, I received a brownie and ice cream, which I appreciated. The brownie was so soft and delicious. Overall, my experience was a good one and I would return to this location again.

We were greeted with very friendly and welcoming staff immediately. Our sever was Marcus and was extremely attentive yet, NOT overwhelming. Our appetizers came out promptly. In fact they came out so fast that we were still deciding on our entrée. The food was excellent 👌! Very well seasoned and the temperature was perfect. Not so hot that you can't eat it right away....and still warm enough that you didn't have to eat it right away. Just perfect!

All the food was amazing!! The Crab fries with bang bang sauce was so good. The bang bang sauce gave it a great kick. The blackberry sangria was to die for. The Cod Imperial was delicious. The cheeses and the Lemon caper butter on the cod just made it so mouth watering. It was cooked perfectly. Tempura Crunch Sashimi Tuna was a great cold appetizer. Just delicious. I was stuffed but seeing the cheesecake on another table I had to try it. So glad I did because it was delicious! The Key lime cake my friend had was huge! Lindsey C. was an amazing waitress!

The food, drinks, and service was incredible. I highly recommend stopping by if you've never been. Our server (Alex? I think?) was incredibly friendly and helpful and put up with an unexpected large group well. The muscle appetizer was my personal favorite of the night, but the bang bang shrimp, lobstertail, sashimi, imperial dip.. everything is worth trying.

The best suggestion I can give is,Reserve the table if you are planning to dine here. Mostly busy during dinner time. I was lucky enough to get a table immediately or I had to wait for 20 minutes. Dishes are tasty. As name suggests it contains mostly sea food. Prices are moderate. Dynamite Salamon is good and I definitely recommend dessert - Brownie which comes with ice cream and whip cream. It's really tasty. Staff are very polite. Ambience needs special mention. Cocktails and wine are also available.

Capers & Lemons is a spacious and contemporary Italian bistro that offers a stylish lounge area, outdoor seating, and an adjacent market. Its beautiful venue, both indoors and outdoors, makes it an ideal choice for various occasions such as family functions or birthday celebrations. The waitstaff is friendly and well-informed about the menu items, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
This was my first time eating here and was very impressed. The food and ambience was amazing as well as the drinks! The portions are surprisingly very large, even the sides and appetizers. I recommend the Gnocchi, cheese tortellini and eggplant lasagna which were so savory. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again!

Went here while visiting family in the area. They have a decent variety of cocktails. All the ones I tried I really like. The lychee drink was particularly good. The garlic bread is amazing. The pasta is delicious (none of the plates I tried were bad) so you won't go wrong. There so also a cute little story you can shop at and even get some stuff like soups and sauces to take home. All in all a nice spot for a decent dinner out with friends or family.

First time here, very nice spot. The Chicken Picatta was excellent and so was the spaghetti. Our server was nice and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. The beer lineup is a little lackluster but that would be my only complaint.

Sat on the patio with other early birds; too bad we ate the calamari so fast that a picture is not available :) Really fresh and lightly battered which was perfect. Asparagus cooked to a light crunch. Grilled salmon was a nice portion and priced at $30. The highlight was the CORN PIZZA. eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! so darn good and crust was thin and crispy. Can't give 5 stars for this restaurant because a staple of an Italian restaurant is Broccoli Rabe and Beans and this dish was super dry and wilted (we ended up dumping the olive oil that is normally served for the bread on top of the Broccoli Rabe and Beans). Smidge disappointed but the color of the veggies was good just super, super dry. Ended with the Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake. Was ok. Ice cream served with it was yummy. Service was a slow start (non-existent) until I nabbed a manager; after that - our waiter was excellent.

A wonderful experience, the level of service was far beyond the price points of the menu, which seemed to be quite a bargain. This place is a hidden gem and perfect for a business lunch/dinner or date night. Love the pizza and the pork, I’ve had a few other items from the menu and no complaints.

We had a very enjoyable lunch with our friends at this restaurant. Food was very delicious, but portions are very small and prices are quite high. Very friendly excellent service and nice atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant and will be back to try other items on their menu.

After waiting over a year to patronize Capers and Lemons, a restaurant that came highly recommended, I regret to say it did not live up to the hype. We had a reservation on Father's Day at 7:00pm, and we're warmly greeted upon arrival, a promising start. However, once the food arrived, including steamed clams, truffle flatbread, lasagna, and scampi pasta, it became clear something was missing: flavor. The steamed clams and scampi pasta bot tasted more like boiled water than anything seasoned. According to our very attentive waiter, Larry, we should have tasted notes of garlic and herbs, but unfortunately, they were absent. The lasagna came meatless, unless we opted to pay an additional $4.00 for meat sauce, a detail that felt more disappointing than accommodating. The bright spots of the meal were the pepperoni pizza and truffle oil flatbread, which were enjoyable. Still, the overall experience fell short. If the goal was to make a lasting impression that discourages a return visit, then mission accomplished.

Fettuccini Primavera with Jerk Chicken and Spaghetti and meatballs. Dishes were served steaming hot. Large portions and pasta was cooked perfectly. Waiter was friendly and attentive. The staff were extremely friendly and kind and the restaurant atmosphere was fine. Portions were huge. Unfortunately, I found the dishes we had to be dominated by an almost raw garlic flavor. There was so much garlic in the pasta sauce and on the garlic knots it ruined the flavor. I had to pick garlic out of the sauce and couldn’t eat the garlic knots because the flavor was way too intense. Because it is an Italian restaurant that uses garlic in most everything, my guess is that overwhelming raw garlic flavor probably affects most of the dishes. Unfortunately will not return.

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago. Food was absolutely delicious with large portions. My aurora sauce and gnocchi was spectacular . My server who I believe was avery was INCREDIBLY RUDE . The young lady had an obscene attitude problem and seemed very annoyed while I just asked questions about the menu…. She acted very snarky and had a sour look on her face when I was just questioning the menu. It seemed like she couldn’t care less about my well being in the restaurant. I also overheard her saying things under her breath about someone named Tony who I can only assume is another coworker.. very unprofessional. I don’t know who trained this young lady but she has a lot to learn about customer service and politeness towards customers. Needless to say I will not return because of Avery’s rude service towards me.

With an open kitchen that allows diners to watch their food being prepared, Lucky's serves generous portions of classic American fare. Breakfast here is particularly enjoyable; patrons rave about the cheese omelette made with high-quality cheese and ample filling in every bite.
We had a great experience here. Our server was Michelle; she was attentive and caring. I ordered an Autumn veggies skillet from the specials menu and was very pleased and satisfied with it. My teen boys devoured their French toast and biscuits & gravy. If you prefer a crispy potato then I recommend asking for home fries in place of hash browns. I look forward to stopping here again next time I'm in the area.

We had a nice breakfast here. The restaurant is clean and has a great mid-century vibe. Our cheese omelette was good (our criteria is good quality cheese, not that plastic cheese food, and enough cheese that there's cheese in every bite. Scrapple was also nicely done, not deep fried like a lot of restaurants do as a shortcut. Our rye toast was the best we've ever had at a traditional diner in this area. Our only quibble--and it's a matter of personal taste, but important to us--is the home fries. We prefer sliced potatoes cooked on a flat top, but these are cubed and deep fried, sort of like small french fries.

Recommended on Facebook and decided to check it out. Went on Saturday at 9AM so it was a bit busy but able to get a table for two fairly quickly. Ordered the Lucky 2 and an vanilla iced latte. Great prices, employees were friendly, food was great. Will come back, I love the retro style and the menu had funny descriptions.

Stopped in for the first time for brunch. The food was great. I got the Reuben, which was good. The fries were crispy and flavorful. The wife ordered eggs over easy with bacon and homefries which were great. The service was excellent. Lorraine was awesome, patient and really knew the menu front and back. I would definitely recommend stopping in!

GOOD: Food wasn't bad (but....), prices fair and service was excellent BAD: On me, avoid ordering anything with "skinny" in the title. The portion was lacking and the flavor was just okay - no wow. For the money, eat to treat. You can always eat skinny cheaply at home (my 2 cents) I had the skinny sausage benedict - it was okay, no wow factor and needed seasoning. The bagel with cream cheese side saved the day. Sadly I did get sick to my stomach an hour later and Lucky's was the last meal. It has a fun diner atmosphere and excellent service but it was lacking for me on food.

Not sure what happened to this place but it has gone way downhill. The steak was so chewy. The only great thing about my meal was the milkshake, but no straws? Breakfast burrito lacked flavor. Service was eh.

Today was my first time coming. I did a takeout order, the bacon was nasty, the hashbrowns were nasty, and the sausage was nasty. The eggs were just OK, and the French toast was also just OK, but they didn’t even give me syrup. The cashier was friendly, but overall, I won’t be back!

First time visiting Kid Shelleen's - Trolley Square for brunch. Overall, it was a good experience. Fast service, decent food, and the restaurant has a nice, open atmosphere with stylish decor. Overall Ratings: Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Parking: Street & private lot available Atmosphere: The main dining room is spacious and open, which I really liked. There’s also outdoor seating available for warmer days. The place was clean and well-kept overall. Service: Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and professional. No complaints here. What We Ordered: -Egg Chesapeake – Great flavor! The crab cakes were a nice touch. The home fries were a standout—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. -Breakfast Burrito – Not bad, pretty solid, though nothing extraordinary. One thing I really loved is, both meals came with homemade cinnamon buns—light, airy, and delicious. Such a nice surprise! Final Thoughts: The brunch menu felt a bit limited, but what we tried was decent. I’d consider coming back, especially if they rotate in some seasonal brunch items or expand the offerings a bit.

Has a relaxed atmosphere tucked in a local neighbourhood beside some nice greenery and a train. Perfect patio vibes, and inside has a cool bar feel with wood tabletops and warm lighting. Food was great, everything was fresh and tasty. Got a order of wings in a sweet chili chipotle bbq sauce and a charcoal grilled burger with coleslaw. Wings were a bit pricey but they were big and meaty with good crispy skin, so you feel like you get your moneys worth. Sauce was sweet and tangy, a perfect accompaniment. Burger was cooked perfectly and had great smokey flavour and the bun was nicely toasted. Veggies and slaw were both fresh with good crunch. Service was great too, the staff was friendly always available, checked on me often. Overall very satisfied. I turned into a windmill. They sat me next to a door that was constantly being opened to the outside world and it blasted cold air at me. They also tried to charge me $29.99 for this “lobster” roll (and I use that term loosely). You can’t in good conscience tell me that this coleslaw concoction is more than 5% lobster. It’s potato chips and coleslaw on a tiny hot dog bread. The burgers are solid.

Visiting the area and stopped in Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. Seated right away. Ordered large regular pizza. The crust was thin and had the coal fired taste and crispness that I love. I used to love this place. I got a meatball sandwich and the chicken broccoli rabe sandwich. The meatballs tasted like they were all filler, and the chicken was almost nonexistent. Not to mention, the robotic order system on the phone, Becky, could not get the order correct and tried to add 3 random items to the order. Ended up hanging up on her. Someone from the store called back to take the order...I wish they hadn't.

I visited Wilmington for the first time in over a decade, and on a beautiful, sunny Sunday, I stumbled upon this charming Italian restaurant—and I’m so glad I did. Everything about the experience was memorable. The food was fantastic; I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked to perfection—flaky, flavorful, and comforting without being heavy. Food is delicious, Salmon was really good, the risotto was rich and creamy. Everything came out super hot. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Big and delicious. My friend had the short rib and she liked it a lot, the tropical siesta was delicious drink. Complimentary peanut butter cookies at the end, I think they are just food service cookies heated up but still good! Bathroom kind of dirty. And the ambiance in the front room with the bar is cuter than the rest of the place. Rest of the place is more low lit and lacking decoration. We paid about 55 a person including tip for a meal and a drink. We are not from Delaware and it was cool there was no tax (though I think they add it to the prices ahead of time).

Casual 1950s diner with jukeboxes at tables features classic charbroiled burgers, fries & shakes.
Fun, chill diner that’s perfect for a burger and shake. The coffee (espresso chip?) milkshake is divine. Many booths have a jukebox - the music was pretty low so we could never confirm if our songs made it on air, but it’s a cute touch. A shout out to the waitstaff ensuring that our order could accommodate our gluten-free party member. Even though they are not completely gluten-safe, the burgers and grill are on a separate area than the buns, so they made sure to not give them a bun.

I love an old time diner experience and that's exactly what this was. Mini jukeboxes in every booth. Service was friendly and fast. I think the desserts are the highlight! Nice selection of sundaes but I ordered a milkshake of the month and it was so good! Also loved the onion rings!

I visited Charcoal Pit a couple times already and I very much enjoyed both visits. I was recommended to come here from a coworker and at that point I was looking for something different on a Lenten Friday. I happened to notice that they have a crab cake sandwich so for a change of pace I gave Charcoal Pit a try. This diner has a bit of history to it, running for several decades and does its best to preserve as much of the retro 50's/60's vibe as possible. Thematically this is one of the better diners I've been to; many of the booths have jukeboxes, some of the original windows are still present and you can be seated right up at the counter overlooking the ice cream stations. If you are in a hurry and just want some ice cream, they do have a separate counter separate from the dining area for that. I haven't used that yet but if you're just looking for ice cream that would be a useful option. This is good as both times I've visited the Charcoal Pit, while not busy, certainly gets good business. As mentioned, for my first visit there I had the crabcake sandwich. It was decently favorable and done well. The fries were just right for me; just enough crisp and where nice and fresh. And as a plus the fries were not oversalted. They use some very good buns and they do toast them a bit and they hold up well to what they load on their sandwiches. I also had a sundae for my first visit. Chocolate ice cream with hot fudge. It is pricey if you're used to fast-food ice cream but that two-scoop sundae is pretty big and very generous with the toppings. The ice cream they use is very good and they do have some rotating flavors on their menu as well. My only critique is that maybe not to hot fudge and chocolate together as the chocolate ice cream is a tad rich for the fudge. Then for my second visit, I tried the Pit Special. This is their basic burger and comes in both a 4 oz and (if I recall) an 8 oz patty and your choice of cheese if you like cheese on your burger. I had the 8 oz patty with cheddar. Again, the buns were prepared perfectly and that was probably one of the best burger patties I've had. It was cooked just right and just enough flavoring. The only thing to note is that if you order cheddar, it will likely be shredded and not in a slice. Next time I go, I will definitely try it with Provolone. The price is awesome as well so it's a great value for a diner burger. They definitely also have the other diner usuals as well including open-faced sandwiches, chili and so on so there's plenty to choose from. The service on both visits was excellent as well. The servers were attentive and ensured my glass was filled and my order taken care of in a timely fashion. They also happily answered any questions I had on the menu items as well. If you like an old-time styled diner with some history as well as some very good burgers, definitely give Charcoal Pit a visit.

A staple of North Wilmington, Delaware since 1956. Come for the nostalgia and classic style cheeseburgers and milkshakes. Service has always been good whenever we've gone. A fun thing to get as a group or celebration is the "kitchen sink" which is 20 scoops of ice cream!

So classic and cute. Food was good and service was great. But it's The Chocolate Milkshake that won my heart 💗. Definitely would recommend and visit again!!!

What a gem! We had a burger and a crab cake and the word that comes to mind is “divine”. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and fast, and prices were reasonable! If we weren’t so full, I would have loved to have tried a milkshake, they look like a work of art!

Very bland fries, very low effort food . My cheesesteak was half of the size I thought it would have been for 14 bucks. I asked for extra cheese and onions. They give a soggy mess, that is falling apart when I pick it up. Disaster overall. Service was good and the place looks nice enough but the food is awful. Onion rings still had batter on them and were raw.

Loved that the place was retro yet kept up. It was clean and welcoming. The staff were all so kind to us. Our server was great and attentive. Food was good! I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time here! Highly recommend.

Stanley's Tavern is a delightful family-friendly sports bar that has been serving up American cuisine since 1935. This spacious venue offers a relaxed vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or family. The menu features an impressive selection of pub-style favorites, including delicious pizza, wings, and nachos that are sure to satisfy any craving. For those looking for something different, Stanley's also serves alternatives like Chicken Fajita Tacos and Ahi-tuna salad packed with fresh ingredients.
Joint serving really nice pub-style fare! Good selection of drafts and non-draft beers as well. Really enjoyed the pizza, wings, and nachos. They have outdoor seating and we were seated outside in the middle of a belter of a rainstorm which made the experience very special and unique. Great food, atmosphere, and service at extremely affordable and reasonable prices. They also have offers everyday (I think). We went on a Monday and they had a $5 off on all appetizers!

Pub-style restaurant offers alternatives to pub-style grub. Chicken Fajita Tacos were nicely stuffed; Ahi-tuna salad had fresh and plenty of tuna and a tasty dressing. Waldorf Salad was a little heavy on the dressing. Guacomole was FRESHLY made and only $5. Cheesesteak egg rolls were a bit "doughy" but flavorful. Korean-Fried Cauliflower a nice touch. Always love the popcorn with cocktails waiting for the meal.

I've been going to Stanley's for over 30 years now. They have great burgers and ribs, and I love watching sports on multiple TVs they have placed throughout the restaurant and bar. My wife and I love the new large glass garage door that opens to the outdoor eating area. Great place for good food with a relaxing and casual atmosphere. Go Birds!

My old man picked me up from a girl trip and I told him lay off, I am starving. He took me right away to this Tavern. Bathrooms were sparkling clean, although your paper towel dispenser didn't work, and I had to use the air dryer that only spit out air from to time. Vibe was chill, place was a lot bigger inside than out (unlike my old man) He only let me an order a side salad, because I packed on a few pounds with my gal pal's. Anywho, the lettuce and veggies were fresh and the water hit the spot. If you are by these parts check this place out!

Food was outstanding. Some of the best garlic mashed potatoes I've ever had. Ribs was solid and the wings were big and juicy. I enjoyed the staff which was very friendly as well. I'll will be going back!

I found debris floating in the bottom of my glass which I had a 22 oz Sam Adams Octoberfest. The waiter told me that it was probably my own backwash which really offended me because I was eating wings and a salad and there were no evidence of what I was eating at the bottom of my glass he totally ignored any requests to rectify the situation basically just blew me off well I can tell you this they've lost a customer I've been there before and have had good meals. WON'T BE GOING BACK
Harry B — Google review
It has been quite a while since we have been here. I like the outside dining area they have added. Kettle chips were awesome. Chili and cornbread were good. As always, the wings hit the spot. The salad and soup bar are no longer present.
Steve E — Google review
We had a great start to our visit with great customer service from the person who seated us and the waitress. We ordered cheesesteak egg rolls for an appetizer and they were excellent. The service was very slow and the meal itself was not very good. I ordered the Tavern burger that was so over cooked and burnt. I could barely cut through it. The onion strings were soggy and the ranch sauce tasted like something was wrong with it. They do have a few other things on the menu that I would like to try. I would be willing to go back and give them a try.

V&M's is one of the finest authentic Italian restaurants in the entire region, forget about just Wilmington. Family-owned and operated, the V&M team go above and beyond every time to make sure every experience - whether it be sitting down for a meal or grabbing takeaway - is as special as it can be. The menu, up and down, is fabulous. The bar is a great hang, with excellent cocktails and a good beer list. The garlic knots are a must, and we've never had an order that wasn't delicious. On top of that, the tomato pie to go has become a much-requested staple of tailgates and family get-togethers. Highest possible recommendation - this place is one of a kind and the best!

Family restaurant
Restaurant
La Tolteca in Wilmington, DE, is a lively spot that brings the flavors of Mexico to life with its traditional dishes like fajitas and tacos, complemented by refreshing margaritas. During a recent family dinner on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by an inviting atmosphere filled with Spanish music and tasteful decor that reflects Mexican culture. The food presentation was impressive, and most dishes delighted our taste buds; however, my granddaughter's chicken tenders fell short as they were overcooked.
One of the best Mexican places I’ve ever eaten. I’ve tried restaurants in California in Cancun and many other places which boast of authentic Mexican food, but by far the food at this place is my top favorite. The food is always the same. Serve warm and tastes perfect. My favorite chicken chimichanga fried.!
TJ S — Google review
Ambience and quality of the food is solid here. So many options to choose from. Their prices are a little high but I guess it's because of the ambience and quality of the food. Pur server has communication problem and charged us $4 extra when asked if they can make a veggie fajitas quesadilla; though for some veggies that an abhorant charge. Also the guy had a attitude and was rushing around barely serving us; maybe just had a off night, who knows. Their house margaritas are well made. Overall, we prefer their other location but that one was closed because of a private party. Decent meal, but service could be improved.

We’ve been going here for years! Still one of the top authentic Mexican restaurants in Delaware. Never had any issues with food quality or portion. Service is always very good. I still love that they do table side guacamole which is fresh and delicious

This was one of the first places I visited for dinner after I had moved out to the First State, wanting to find a good local Mexican restaurant. This one also happened to be near my residence so I decided to come here. Atmosphere wise, it is very typical of a Mexican restaurant with typical decor and artwork related to Mexico. It's tasteful and well done but nothing too unique compared to the many other Mexican restaurants I've been to. The service was good as well with the server ensuring my water was filled and my order brought out in a timely fashion. Though it was a while since I've been here, the burrito I had was pretty good with a good sauce smothering it and the meat was cooked well. The queso was pretty tasty as well. The only oddity I recall was that the auga de jamaica was a smaller serving than I typically see for agua fresca served in a Mexican restaurant. Just an observation I had when I was there compared to other restaurants in the area. Overall, I enjoy La Tolteca's Wilmington location and I will be coming back when I get the craving for Mexican food.

1st time at La Tolteca with family for Sunday dinner. Nice atmosphere with Spanish music playing, nice location and parking lot, presentation of food looked good and tasted good except for grand daughter's chicken tenders and fries (over cooked and hard). Family enjoyed ourselves until my sister asked for a dessert menu. Our waiter Vladimir hesitated and then told us only 2 items on menu and told her what they were. He did not offer us dessert and seemed irritated when we asked for the dessert menu. He also seemed irritated when my husband asked for 2 containers (one for the appetizer and one for his entree). We were a party of 8 (7 adults, 1 child) so 20% was automatically added on bill not 18% How you going to add your own tip to 20%? Overall the service was ok but I will not be back. Disappointed for the disrespect from Vladimir. We were nothing but respectful.

Lets start off with the good. Atmosphere was pretty cool, nice modern decor with plenty of Christmas lights for the holidays. Waiter was nice, made sure we were taken care of. Alright, so the food. My food, specifically... Ordering a poutine, especially how it says on the menu, "cheese curds, gravy" etc... You expect it to be cheese curds and gravy right? When the poutine was placed on the table I was surprised. Not sure what kind of gravy this is but its definitely not a gravy. Didn't really taste good either. The cheese "curds" were... Just a sheet of melted cheese on top of everything. No curds were to be found anywhere. A shame. My burger tasted good, however there's reason for me to believe it was a frozen patty. I sure hope not, considering its a $15 burger that doesn't even come with fries. I was thinking it was frozen because of the defined edge on the side, shown in the picture. Though it may not be, as maybe they were using a patty press. Though, lets say its not frozen, $15 for that tiny burger is a sham. Again, at least it tasted good. The chips that came with it were greasy and unsalted. Almost like the fryer wasn't up to temp before they were fried. At least my parents liked their food. Thank you for the experience.

This place has the best fish and chips I have ever had in my life. I love fish and chips and I have had it in England even. The crisp on the beer batter was even and perfect. The tartar sauce was well balanced and the malted vinegar aioli rocked my palate. The fries were crunchy in the right places and salty. My server Carolyn was super attentive to my medical needs and timeline too. She was fast and efficient and super friendly. You absolutely must try the crab nachos, you wouldn't think this combo would work but it did. They balanced the crab and lime and cheese and cheese sauce perfectly. Good guac too!

Mazzella's Italian Restaurant is a classic eatery located in a strip mall, offering a variety of Italian dishes including pizza with seafood toppings. While some patrons have expressed dissatisfaction with the bread served with the platters, many others rave about the excellent food, particularly praising the thin-crust pizza and pasta. The restaurant is known for its generous portions at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Some customers recommend trying the seafood options, such as the Grouper.
Food was sooooo good!!! The garlic knots would have been better if they were warm, but other than that everything was super tasty. The Italian Wedding soup was great and there was even an egg in it! The portions are huge, so definitely bring your appetite!

I had the seafood gluten-free pizza. Seafood was good. I enjoyed it. Gluten-free crust tasted like saltine crackers. It's not my flavor. Crust could be better, yet I appreciate the 🙏 effort for gluten-free. Came with a separately wrapped disposable pizza knife.

Great place to eat The bar has not a lot to choose from tap wise. The food is in big portions. The seafood 🦞 Diablo is fantastic and a lot of people recommend the baked ziti 😉. If you are ever in Delaware look this place up.

Popped into Mazzella’s and was blown away by the huge portions and hearty, authentic Italian flavors. The specialty pizzas—especially eggplant and margherita—were outstanding, and their pastas (including chicken Parmesan and penne arrabbiata) left me with leftovers for days. The staff had a warm, family-run vibe, and service was solid. A few folks have mentioned parking or waiting area issues, but overall it’s a neighborhood favorite for good reason—delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll be back for more!

Went here for the first time and I will not be back. I did not care for the taste of the pizza and it didn't help that one of the pizzas I ordered was burnt on the bottom. And $32 for 2 medium pizzas is crazy. Giving this place 2 stars because the service was great.

It’s a pretty good Thai food restaurant only a short walk from the Homewood Suites hotel along a scenic riverbank. I had Yellow Curry w/chicken and Tom Yum soup w/Shrimp. Both delicious. My buddy had a different dish, forget what, but he was happy with his choice. I’m sure I’ll be back to try another dish before I leave. LOVE this place. It's tucked away on the Riverfront, so I feel like it's a bit of a hidden gem. I've been doing takeout during the pandemic, but used to stop in for the lunch specials in the before-times. Nestled in a trendy strip mall, Le Shio is a culinary gem that offers an impressive array of Asian cuisine, from sushi to Thai dishes. On my recent visit, I indulged in their Thai Curry with Chicken, which was bursting with rich umami flavors and accompanied by crisp vegetables—a true delight! While the Wonton soup left something to be desired due to its bland broth, the rest of the menu beckons for future exploration.
Cool atmosphere, great hospitality and staff ( they are Emily and attentive all the time ) , reasonable taste. I loved Times Square only. But it’s too expensive for what they offered.

I recently dined at Le Shio restaurant and was blown away by the fantastic food they offer! From the comforting egg drop soup to the flavorful chicken dumplings soup, every dish was a delight to the taste buds. The spicy tuna roll was a perfect balance of heat and flavor, while the pineapple fried rice and chicken fried rice were both incredibly satisfying. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, I must mention that the utensils were not as clean as I would have liked. However, this small hiccup was overshadowed by the impeccable service and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend Le Shio for anyone looking for delicious Asian cuisine with great service and atmosphere.

First time there, they have mixed Asian dishes on the menu. I ordered Thai Curry with Chicken this time….. I saw people ordering the sushi and Chinese, so I will be back to try those too. Love LOVED the Thai curry. It tasted like the rich umami curry that comes with Roti bread, and had a bunch of crisp vegetables in the curry. The only thing I would say that’s negative is their Wonton soup broth tasted like hot water…. No flavor to speak of. Next time I will try something else. (Soup came with the lunch special)

Having moved from the San Francisco Bay Area two years ago, we have always been searching for excellent sushi, which has turned out to be a difficult task. I have been here several time for take out, so maybe there is a different experience when you dine in. For the price of the food I don't think it is very good. This last time we got the hibachi with scallop and steak and the scallops were inedible. They had absolutely no flavor at all and neither did the steak. The shrimp fried rice is $19 and it barely had any shrimp or veggies. Our order was also missing something so we had to call for a refund.

The food served here is consistently hot and fresh, while the drinks are made correctly and served in clean glasses.
It was the best Friday's food I've had in 5 years. That spinach dip was piping hot and very tasty. The happy hour steakhouse meatballs should be on the main menu. The drinks are strong so be careful.

For the most part, the TGI Fridays on Concord Pike is what you'd expect from a chain fast-casual diner. Lots of decor and pop culture tchotchkes and a general neighborhood bar and grill style. The restaurant was relatively clean so the atmosphere was on point, just not a standout for me. Both times I've visited this TGI Fridays, it was on a Friday evening but both times I was there it was also relatively empty inside. As an upside it was relatively quiet both times I visited. The service was good both times as the server who worked my table generally did a good job with handing my order as well as keeping my glass filled. For both my visits, I ordered off their "value" menu (starting at $10) which includes a drink with the meal. I was also early enough to also enjoy their happy hour specials on appetizers, which in my opinion makes their appetizers a good value when you visit during that window of time. Their spinach artichoke dip was pretty good and generally fresh both times I've ordered it. That appetizer also comes with a small side of salsa which was decent. The first time I visited i had their cheeseburger. The patty was cooked well and was generally juicy and moist. The toppings were decent and overall the burger was good as were the fries. The second time I visited I had the chicken alfredo, which in my opinion really missed for me. The chicken wasn't that well seasoned and could have benefited from being a bit warmer. The noodles were OK but the sauce was also a miss, being a bit thinner than I prefer my alfredo sauce. I was able to finish it but I don't think I'll be returning for their pasta. Overall, it's a decent place to go if you're looking for a fast-casual type of restaurant and want a variety of menu options to choose from. However, I would like to see them improve their game especially considering how empty it was when I visited early Friday evening when you should be seeing more customers come in at that timeframe. Making the food a bit better in quality for the price would definitely help that out.

The main reason I visited was because Ive fell in love with the slammers. So I figured I'd try the full size option. The food was to be expected, it was prepared to preference, quick courteous service. The establishment is showing its age or lack of upkeep. A total vibe filled with celebrity paraphernalia and euphoria. There's a full sports bar and plenty of seating for large gatherings.

Next time I'll just settle for fast food. The presentation and quality are better. Sad for $21. Didn't even get the sauce right despite paying extra for it.

Service was great.... Manager/ server was very good. Kitchen was a joke. Ordered Medium rare and got VERY well done. Also ordered a plain burger. Got something with whiskey sauce. Asked to be replaced and took, no joke, 30 mins to have a new order come out. Wondered why it was empty on a Friday night. Now I know why. Won't be going back there.

Location was perfect as it was near our hotel. The salmon was really good. Everything else not so good. The service was not good either. The waiter was not attentive and it took him forever to come back when we requested condiments and needed to refill our drinks.

Compared to other Friday’s this location could use some work. The tables were really sticky & the bathroom was gross. The chicken fingers and Cajun pasta were pretty good. The chicken fajitas were alright. The all day drink special menu was a plus.

I don't see this place staying open much longer. Absolutely horrible. Please don't contact me with vouchers, there is no going back to this. The place was dead when we got there around 415pm on a Sunday. I ordered the whiskey burger and my better half ordered the beyond meat fake burger. What we thought would be quick service because there were less then 10 people inside the restaurant, was not the case. By the time the food came out I was beyond aggravated, asked for medium rare on the burger and nope, it was definitely well done. Waitress seemed pulled away and not attentive. We were hungry so we hurry up and ate, we didn't even bother waiting for the check as the waitress was nowhere to be found, I threw down 40 dollars cash on the table and we left. Good Riddance!
