Outdoor Activities
Magens Bay Beach is a renowned destination, consistently ranked among the world's best beaches. Its expansive white sands and clear aquamarine waters are complemented by a backdrop of lush greenery, creating an idyllic setting for various water activities like swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. The beach also features amenities such as concessions, equipment rentals, lifeguards, picnic areas, and a nature trail through coconut groves.
Heaven on earth. Most beautiful place ever. So clean. Great parking. Great food. So relaxing. You can rent just about any water activity. Paddle boarding, chairs, snorkeling. Seen so many turtles, stingray, so many colorful fish and sharks. Seriously heaven on earth. With sand sent from a higher power for sure.

Beautiful beads, clean ,water is calm, not too deep. Changing Rooms clean bars, you can rent chairs but the food is a little pricey entrance fee is also pricey $7 per person for none residence and you’re not allowed to leave and returned same day, you have to pay every time you return.
Out O — Google review
It depends on what you are looking for. If you want nasty water, tons of boats, big crowd, and trashy beaches, this place sucks. But if you want a beautiful beach with clear water, peace, and a place for the family, Magens beach is amazing!!
Charles H — Google review
Beautiful beach, water is so clear ,ez to get to.U have to pay to enter ,for 3 of us little over $20.There is a souvenir shop, pizza and sandwich shop. This may be the most beautiful beach at Saint Thomas.I was only at 3 of Saint Thomas beaches.
Bill S — Google review
Magens Bay Beach is absolutely beautiful. We were there during off season so it wasn't very crowded which made both parking and finding a great spot on beach to drop our stuff easy. Definitely park or head way down to the left on the beach away from the restaurant. That first area is where all the cruise ship people get dropped off and stay and that gets crowded fast. Water and sand are perfect and lots of sea turtles eating sea grass if you snorkel out towards the markers
KJ E — Google review
Water was cool and clear and teaming with fish and other water animals. Beach was beautiful and well maintained with fine white sand. There is a bar and food options on the beach. Also you can rent all kinds of beach equipment including chairs, masks, water floats, etc. It also has a place to rinse off and change before leaving the beach. It was a little crowded with 3 cruise ships in port but that wasn't that bad as the beach is very long. Highly recommended for a dip for a few hours.
Patrick T — Google review
Entry fee was a good deal for nice parking, we'll worth it for the most perfect beach on the island, truly is just surreal, melting in beauty.
Andrew L — Google review
Nice Clean Beach. Takes a while to get here via tour buss if you are on a cruise.

Vacation home rental agency
Villa
Nestled in the stunning landscape of St. Thomas, Sand Dollar Estate stands out as a premier luxury vacation villa rental that promises an unforgettable experience. With nine beautifully appointed bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms, this estate can comfortably accommodate up to 24 guests, making it ideal for family gatherings or special events like weddings. The property features a separate romantic guest cottage spanning 2,300 square feet, ensuring privacy while still being part of the larger group.
I’m a pretty particular person when it comes to vacations and house rentals. Sand Dollar blows all other accommodations away. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond. My dream is to walk from my room, have a fresh breakfast, and hop on a paddle board in turquoise waters… this place is that and more. Catamaran and jet skis come to your private beach steps away from the house. We will be back!
Nellie A — Google review
This was our third time staying at Sand Dollar and once again, it was the trip of a lifetime. We had a group of 19 people this time and the house and location are the very best in St. Thomas. The house has everything you could possibly need or want, including it's very own private beach, which is hard to come by in St. Thomas. You have plenty of space to spread out or tons of options to hang out together on the various patios, in the pool or down at the beach. The staff is incredible, making sure your stay is perfect. If you are looking for a large house to rent for a family reunion, wedding, or vacation with a big group, don't hesitate to book Sand Dollar. You won't regret it.
Cheri ( — Google review
Our family's third visit to Sand Dollar Estate was no less amazing than the first. Now with 11 bedrooms, the property offers personal space when you want it, but still has the large outdoor decks at the main house where the family gathers for meals, stories, swimming, and great times. This year, we celebrated a sweet 16 birthday, dressed up the little ones for a mermaid photo shoot, made sand sculptures, saw turtles and sting rays and lots of fish in Magen's Bay; the list goes on. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the kitchen well equipped, but the real gem is the beach, the beach, the beach. We love everything about this place and hope to return again when we can squeeze into the schedule!
Shelley P — Google review
There is no such thing as a "private beach" in the US Virgin Islands per the Open Shorelines Act of 1971 (V.I. Code tit. 12, § 402). I have had several of the guests of this villa tell myself and friends and family to leave "their" private beach over the years. Not leaving, you can call the cops and talk to them about it.
Brigitte B — Google review
False advertising!! This villa advertises a "private beach". ALL beaches in the Virgin Islands are public per the Open Shorelines Act of 1971 (V.I. Code tit. 12, § 402). Falsely advertising this leads to uninformed expectations, disappointed guests, and negative interactions with beachgoers who are just enjoying their legally protected beach access. Edited to add screenshots.

The Sand Dollar was perfect for our group. We had 21 total people, so each couple had their own space and privacy while providing plenty of group space as well. The house was well maintained and look exactly like the pictures. Mike and staff were incredible all week. Our every need was met. Chef Wayne made incredible food. The week could not have gone any better!
Justin B — Google review
This was our family’s 2nd time staying at Sand Dollar. I was married on the beach there 3 years ago and we returned again with our whole family last week. The property is as beautiful as ever and the same staff are working there which says a lot about the owners. The house manager Mike checks in every morning and is very accommodating. Chef Wayne also makes this week fully enjoyable. I’m not sure how other groups do it without him. The views from the house are breathtaking. We loved watching the turtles, pelicans, iguanas and fish everyday. We hope to return some day again to enjoy this beautiful home.

Planning a family reunion for 31 people with ages ranging from 65-4 months can be a daunting task. From the moment we first contacted Suzanne she was responsive and was helpful in guiding us through the planning phase! At the appropriate time we were introduced to the property manager Mike and Chef Wayne who arranged to have the house stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The meals were amazing and plentiful…we pretty much left the planning up to Chef Wayne and he didn’t disappoint! The houses we stayed in were spacious well cared for and extremely comfortable! There are several large gathering spots for our gang. The pool was awesome the private beach was exceptional we had access to paddleboards kayaks sand toys for the kiddos and plenty of seating for our group. Truly a memorable vacation!

Coral World Ocean Park is a 5-acre marine park located near Coki Beach on the east end of St. Thomas. It offers a variety of activities such as an undersea observatory tower, aquariums, and interactive exhibits where visitors can get up close with marine creatures like nurse sharks and sea lions. The park also provides unique experiences including Sea Trek and Sea Lion Swim.
At the tail end of our vacation and looking for a few hours to kill before our flight we stumbled on this little gem of a place! We got there in time to see the Macaw presentation which included information about them, and feeding. We spent a good amount of time chatting with Mary at the touch tank who was super friendly and knowledgeable! We got to catch the shark feeding demonstration as well. We learned that Coral World has some really cool exhibits and is very involved with rehabilitation and research to develop more resilient coral species. Would absolutely recommend visiting and taking the time to chat with the different staff and learning about all of their animals! You can tell that they care a lot about their animals!

Great place. Nice paths and the bird sanctuary was nice. We were able to catch a few shows even though we arrived in the afternoon. Just this had everything you could ask for. Exotic plants and plenty of lizards ! Wonderful aquatic life. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The large aquarium was great and the staff knew a lot about the fish. Plus the beach is right around the corner. Don’t want a plus !

We had a WONDERFUL time at the dolphin swim! It's a bit pricey but you can get a discount if you stay at Margaritaville and sit through their sales pitch 😁 still, it was a ton of fun. We're very happy to support the dolphin team! Jasmine was an absolute delight and so much fun! My daughter got to dance with a dolphin - her dream!!! My only thought/recommendation was that the aquarium itself was kinda meh. You can only see a sea lion if you attend one of their presentations so we completely missed it. It's next door to Coki beach and you can park in coral worlds lot if you attend the aquarium. Pretty sure you get a free ticket into the park if you book an excursion -so don't pay twice!!!

Awesome experience doing the Sea Trek - walking on the ocean floor in a helmet!!! We held a sea egg, star fish, and invertebrate and got to see so many beautiful creatures and coral! Our guides made it the best. In addition, we caught the sea lion talk, walked the nature trail to see tortoises and iguanas, caught the sea turtle talk, saw the dolphin that another family was enjoying swimming with, and several small exhibits. We ate at the Shark Bar onsite; they had a decent menu. We got the burgers and a “Shark Bite” rum drink. My family of four with two teen boys enjoyed this place. Highly recommend.

Don’t come here…the underwater observation is under construction (3 month from now). Of course it’s not written anywhere in the website. When we realize that , we go to the ticket office and the manager try to apologize but she insists that the lady at the counter told us that the observation is closed and also give us 10% off. We try to get refund (even partially)for this scam but the manager told us there is nothing she can do. My main problem was that it’s not written in the website The staff in the park was very kind , but it’s 30 min taxi from cruise pier(that cost 90$ for 3 of us and 75 $ admission ) for park that the kid get board in 1.5 hour.
Nisan B — Google review
We did the dolphin splash & swim here for $185 per person. The experience is so disappointing except that we were indeed in water with 1 dolphin. We were a group of ~10 people, with a guide. All we did was taking turns to let the dolphin to perform a few tricks to us. We also got to touch the dolphin and feed her fish. The in-water time was about 30-40 mins max. What makes the experience even more artificial & commercialized was that they forbid us to take any camera or GoPro in water, despite it was properly attached. The whole experience I described above also was accompanied by posing for a photographer who is on the platform. Then later they could sell the photos back to us for $50 per person. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you genuinely LOVE dolphins and actually want to SWIM together with them.
Lily X — Google review
We did the Snuba experience. Soooo cool. Advice: if you take meds for blood pressure, bring a doctor's note of clearance with you. It was perfectly fine and we had a blast!! The video and plenty I cures taken by the instructor were great

The best day ever!! If you go to St Thomas this is the place you must go to! It was so much fun for the kids and adults! And there’s a beautiful beach next door, so after go cool off in the beautiful teal/sapphire waters. My best friend grew up in st Thomas and he said that it’s the best place on the island. You can buy tickets in advance or the day of.

5Cyril E. King Airport

Airport
Cyril E. King Airport, located on the island of St. Thomas, is a waterfront international airport that serves as the main airport for the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is often the arrival point for visitors to the Virgin Islands and offers car rental services for convenient transportation around the island. Despite being a small airport, it provides a range of amenities including souvenir shops with unique mementos, delightful gift shops, music, and samples of local Cruzan rum.
Cyril E. King Airport (STX) is a decent airport for those visiting St. Thomas. The locals greet people and are very kind and welcoming. While it may not be the most modern or spacious airport you've ever experienced, it serves its purpose well. The check-in process is usually smooth, and the security lines are manageable, even during peak travel times. The airport offers a limited selection of shops and restaurants, but you can find the essentials like snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. The baggage claim area is well-organized, and the rental car companies are conveniently located. Overall, Cyril E. King Airport is a functional and efficient airport that provides a good starting point for your St. Thomas adventure. It may not be the most luxurious or exciting airport, but it gets the job done.
Amalia H — Google review
Arrival is awesome. You get to deplane directly on the tarmac - which is factually the best way to get off a plane. When you walk in, there is rum everywhere and the bag belts are right there in front of you. Leaving is crazy. The lines for customs can get huge. And they just wrap around willy nilly. They seem perpetually understaffed and there is no climate control. At least they warn you about it when you arrive. Once you do eventually get through customs and TSA, the terminal is...cozy. All 8 gates are in one big room. There is one set of dirty bathrooms and no water fill station at all.
Greg E — Google review
This airport was quite something. The arrival and departure experience is normally different, but in this airport, it’s 2 polar opposite experiences. When you arrive into St. Thomas Airport (STT) it’s very cool getting to be right next to the planes and I even saw a Delta flight taking off. Once you’re in the arrivals area, it’s open but well air conditioned with even free samples of tequila. Bags take a while but besides that, the experience is one of the better ones I’ve experienced. On the other hand, when you depart out of this airport, it’s a mess. Me and my family arrived about an hour before our flight because we were running late and the gate agents for delta wouldn’t let us check our bag and then it took them 10 minutes to put a tag on our checked bag letting security know that it was supposed to be checked! On top of that, the agents were rude and made small remarks about us being slightly late for our flight and I’ve never met such unprofessional employees before. Security took about 10 minutes and was not bad compared to the rest of the departing experience. However, once you get into the gate area, it is awful. It is cramped and so hot in there with hardly any food options. The boarding process was very unorganized and there weren’t many announcements. If you can avoid this airport at a reasonable price, please do as you will be much better off at another airport.
Carter W — Google review
Arrival is awesome because your on the first part of your vacation or journey ... Coming home . Horrible . DO NOT take Cape air if you can avoid it. Rudest attendants with little to no respect for their paying customers. . Supposedly they only honor America airlines. Overcharged us for all our checked baggage. The best part is that we were the first people here , maybe she missed her morning coffee but this lady was having a foul moment ... Leaving St Thomas they definitely take every last penny including CAB rides . I have to say I will think twice next time.coming to St Thomas and pick a different Caribeaan island next time.. flying is a big part of your trip be it vacation or business, thanks Cape Air for ruining that . Hopefully our next leg is better..Airline industry is definitely going downhill . Good bye won't be back
ScottF — Google review
It was a crowded airport despite being on a slow season. Not many choices for resting or eating. Arrive early like I did or you might lose your flight. Cleanliness was ok. Overall 2nd worst airport I had visited. You will walk to the airplane from the gate in the Tarmac rain or shine. The only reason it surprises me is because I was still on American soil, as USVI residents are US citizens. Inmigration asked questions like you were going on an interational flight.
William L — Google review
The arrival experience was pleasant, enhanced by live music performed by some young musicians. However, the departure was quite crowded, lacking air conditioning and seating. Fortunately, we arrived just in time to secure a seat, as some other passengers were departing for their flights, and it happened to be near a fan.
Nae — Google review
There is no air conditioning, no where to sit. Be prepared for a very hot and sticky experience. We were told to arrive 3 hours early to get through customs only to sit in the lobby for 3+ hours.
Kyle B — Google review
Wow. Arrival is okay and efficient, so that’s a star. But WORST departure experience ever in my life, and I’ve travelled quite extensively, to very remote places in the world too. Sadly all the bad reviews are true. It has less than 10 gates, crammed into a single tiny waiting area, and it’s STIFLING. I think there are ACs and fans somewhere but it never gets cool enough, and there’s ZERO circulation, even when it’s not crowded. But when it is crowded, it really feels like a sauna. No seats, dirty, hot air, everyone’s sweating and fanning themselves, smells stale and I feel like there’s not enough air and I can’t breathe. I feel bad for the people who work here - at least the people flying are here for only a couple of hours, but it’s abusive to be working in this kind of environment full time. They should really do something about this airport.

Island
St. Thomas is a renowned destination famous for its picturesque beaches, snorkeling opportunities, and historical landmarks. It's a popular spot for luxury Caribbean vacations, attracting numerous cruise ships and affluent travelers seeking oceanfront villa rentals with stunning views of the turquoise sea. The island offers a blend of cosmopolitan scenes and traditional island charm, making it an ideal getaway for families as well. Additionally, investing in real estate on St. Thomas provides similar processes to purchasing property in the U.S.
I Love St Thomas. The Island is so Beautiful and lush. The waters are magnificent and bright blue. Mountain Top Banana Daiquiri is highly recommended with the view of Meagan's Bay below.
Darren B — Google review
the locals drive like it's Pakistan. Beware the sea weed in the summer. bring at least $300.00 a day for food... duty-free stores are a joke , they say no tax , however, everything you buy is at least 3x more expensive than anywhere else. Just price some booze... aside from the horrible drivers and way extra priced everything the views are great the water is super clear ,and if you get away from the cruise area it's better. I did not cruise had a car so I did see entire island.
Brant N — Google review
If we ever make it back to the island I would stay here in a second. We stayed here for half of our honeymoon, after fleeing St. John to st Thomas right before Hurricane Irma hit. No one would take us in. I begged them at the desk while my wife sat in the rental about to cry. They took us in and boarded us up in a concrete villa. Hurricane shutters and all. After the complete destruction we all became a family and took care of each other and waited for rescue. The cooks there made us our first hot meal maybe days later down by the water. We ate MRE meals from the military throughout and had saved water in our bathtub and all the bowls in the villa. A lot of the lower buildings were destroyed and roofs ripped off. It was terrifying. The aftermath was almost more terrifying than the storm as the island was so destroyed no one could get food or buy anything let alone drive anywhere with phone poles blocking roads and electrical wires everywhere. This is but a short description of the ordeal. We were eventually rescued by a ln old cruise ship. I believe we might have written a thanks shortly after but with Hurricane season starting it made me remember how wonderful the people at this place were to us. Truly like saved our lives. We had nowhere else to stay and time was running out. Thank you again from Buffalo NY. We stayed in B-15. I have tons of professional photos of the damage and trip 😞

The U.S. Virgin Islands are so much fun and there are so many fun things to do! I highly recommend St Thomas! The U.S. Virgin Islands are truly a tropical paradise, and St. Thomas is no exception! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the island's stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant culture. There's so much to see and do in St. Thomas. I spent my days lounging on the beach, snorkeling in the turquoise waters, and exploring the charming town of Charlotte Amalie. I also had the opportunity to hike through lush rainforests and visit historical sites like Blackbeard's Castle. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The food was delicious, with a variety of fresh seafood and Caribbean flavors. If you're looking for a fun and relaxing vacation, I highly recommend visiting St. Thomas. It's a truly unforgettable destination that has something to offer everyone.

This was a cruise ship stop that we thoroughly enjoyed. So very scenic and beautiful! We enjoyed a day here of shopping and exploring. Restaurants and the typical gift shops but definitely higher end. A lively clean tropical island. Everything you need is here and close by. We did take a tour of the island which was very enjoyable.

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas is a luxurious beachfront hotel currently undergoing a $100 million renovation after being closed due to hurricane damage in 2017. The property will reopen in December with refreshed rooms and suites, new dining venues, and the return of its private luxury catamaran, Lady Lynsey II. Guests are currently staying at The Ritz-Carlton Club next door and are eagerly anticipating the full reopening.
Lovely hotel and property- the staff went above and beyond for us during our stay making sure our anniversary/ honeymoon was extra special and all our needs were met. We utilized the excursions arranged by the hotel through Cruz Bay water sports and had a phenomenal time. The club lounge was an excellent value add and is highly recommended, even at the premium. The concierge was very helpful with reservations and went above and beyond giving us suggestions about the area and getting us into local restaurants at the last minute. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Here.

Ok, the hotel does not live up to the Ritz Carlton standards. The facility was a little bit run down with cabinet doors made of composite wood were swollen at areas and peeling off. The bathtub in one of our 2 rooms had a very large crack. The bathroom sink caulking has mold (room 249 building F), the light feature fotlr make up was off, after complaint was replaced to break down again. The floors near the toilets were dirty, (stained). We saw 2 cockroaches ( I wont blame them for it, its the tropics after all). If you are hoing to book this hotel, I highly recommend a room with club access, this is like an all inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner plus drinks and dessert all included while in the club. Not many restaurant options in the facility and their menus were limited. The service was exceptional. The club staff were amazing. Harrison was super friendly and certainly shows how much he loves his job. Overall a great experience, but not even near Ritz Carlton Level. The staff were very friendly with the room being refresed most night berofe going to bed.

This place is amazing! Beautiful beach and water, the pools are warm, the place is spotless clean! We were here for a week and never saw one piece of trash laying around anywhere! We can’t say enough good about the staff here at this hotel! They are the most delightful, kindest people! And the food here is the best! We never had a bad meal! Also, the beds are comfortable and so are the pillows! Rooms are very clean! Great fitness center. Everything about this hotel is great! They also have a great kids area here as well! And slipper slide in the pool.

This was our families first experience with the Ritz-Carlton. The staff was extremely kind majority of the visit and made our honeymoon pleasant. The resort itself is beautiful. It was unfortunate we came during major renovations. I do wish there were more amenities for the price we paid, but overall the experience was positive.

From the moment we showed up, we were greeted with a big smile And great vibes from Johnny Who handled our luggage and set us up with the front desk to get checked in. The Summerwind coffee shop Aaliyah and her team were fantastic. One of the best parts of my days was Aaliyah’s big smile every morning with a great cup of coffee and attitude. Our friends wedding at the Ritz was remarkable incredible setting wonderful food and service with an outstanding bartender and DJ. The pool and beach were fantastic and I would highly recommend the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas to any friends and family. This place is a Gem

Excellent Club Level stay at the Ritz St. Thomas. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable. Immaculate rooms and grounds. Special thanks to Ruth (club level), JJ (club level), Patrick (front desk), and Dwayne (management) for 5 star treatment. Last but not least, a very special 'thank you' to Harrison at the Club Level for making our trip super special. Other Ritz Carlton Club Levels should use Harrison as their gold standard for providing exceptional service and customer care. Thanks again.

First let say this was our first time/ experience staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in St Thomas. Our stay there was less than we expected. Upon getting to our hotel room the room keys did not work. Upon entering the room we noticed crackers in different locations on the floor. The bedding under the sheets was smaller than the bed itself. During our stay there was continuous issues with the staff cleaning our room. They would take the dirty towels and wash rags and return with towels and no wash rags. They would empty the trash can but leave trash around it on the floor. One night the lights went out and then our ceiling fan wouldn't work the fixed it the next day. The in room TV had no chanel line up listed for viewing and ABC aired CBS content. Some staff were very nice to us and looked us in the eyes but other staff never made eye contact when we were discussing these issues with them as if the could care less. When we checked out I complained again and their response was were sorry. I would expect this from a 1 star hotel not for the this hotel. This was a gift from my daughter for our 30th anniversary. I sorry I can NOT thank you for our disappointing experience that was to be sooo special. I would not recommend this hotel period!!!!!! This is not something any guests should see or accept from the Ritz Carlton. I would it it was a budget hotel chain. Where were your high guest/hotel standards because we never saw them. Extremely DISSATISFIED & DISSAPOINTED

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton in St Thomas and it was an absolute delight! We stayed 5 nights. All of the staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. There was always someone there to greet us no matter what part of the resort we were on and they were always willing to help! We had several lengthy conversations with the staff about places to try, history of the area, etc., by the time we left we felt like we knew many of them. Bruce and Prince were fabulous, always professional and also entertaining when dropping us off or picking us up from our building. Kimora checked us in and was so sweet and welcoming! Honestly every person we encountered was accommodating, happy and helpful. The staff checked all the boxes for our expectations!! The concierge was able to book us the sunset cruise and that was a fun experience! We had breakfast at Bleuwater (on property) every morning, it was always delicious (I wish I could remember the server’s name she was so sweet!)! The rooms were spacious, beautiful, classy and very comfortable. The main building and lobby is just stunning! So many details all over this resort make it just such a treat to be there. I read some of the negative reviews before we went and now having stayed there I just can’t understand where any complaints come from. We travel often and have stayed at many resorts. This place was a dream!!

The attention to detail in terms of creature comforts and the quality of construction is amazing. It’s like staying in a really nice hotel but you have three levels, a beach, and a pool to yourself.

We spent a month at the house and my group had an amazing experience. The owners helped us enjoy our stay in many ways from things at the house to recommendations for the island. We would go back in a minute.

Paradise Found Villa is an amazing house. 16 of us ranging from 2 to 77 were super comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and even have privacy. The view is priceless. The pool was used every day, multiple times. Lena and Bob are the most fabulous hosts I've ever had the pleasure of renting from. We haven't all been together as a family for about 10 years. This was absolutely the best place to all come together and experience the beauty of the Virgin Islands and reconnect with each other.

This house is incredible! Plenty of space for a large family, all the amenities you could ask for. Breath taking views of Megan's Bay. You won't want to leave. Ask the owners about Sue, she did a wonderful job stocking the house with or visions and cooked a phenomenal dinner for us! Highly recommend!

Best vacation ever! The Villa is located on the peninsula with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean and Magens Bay! Helpful staff, and wonderful property. We enjoyed having the Pool heated in the evenings. Also chartered sailing trips with Seas The Day Charters. Will definitely book here again! Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was a complete dream at Magens Hideaway! My now fiancé and I slept on the second floor bedroom facing the beautiful sunrise over the islands. The Villa is broken into multiple buildings which makes the overall experience of staying here so incredible. The best part is that it’s gated from the rest of the island (something safety concerned people like me value...) it is literally a 3 to 5 minute drive from Megans Bay. ❤️ We came with a lot of family on this trip, eight of us in total, and everyone was able to both have privacy when they wanted it and plenty of space to get together too. A great place to hang out at Megan’s Hideaway is the outdoor seating area just outside of the kitchen. The views there are to die for, looking over the islands during sunset in the breeze is absolutely incredible. When we arrived, everything was so elegantly laid out and clean, the pool was heated, and everyone was just in awe of the views. I seriously cannot say enough about the views... The villa is located near the peak of its part of the island, and it’s the only way to vacation on Saint Thomas. 🏡 On one of the days, the girls on the trip got ocean side massages at the Villa - while us guys went Rolex shopping. I didn’t get a massage, but from what I was told they were highly educated, highly recommended, and “it was like melting on a cloud”. One last thing that I greatly appreciated was that the surrounding homes were blocked by beautiful vegetation and we had privacy. 🏝 I highly recommend staying here no matter the occasion. We have already decided to come back again and stay at Magens Hideaway. We honestly had a hard time leaving! 🙏🏻❤️ And some of the photos you’ll notice that we went exploring during our trip! I highly recommend asking the property owners about chartering a boat to island hop, snorkel, and explore! Request Captain👨‍✈️ Andy if you decide to take out the Aquarius out to sea! 🌊

The Skyride to Paradise Point is a popular attraction in the Caribbean, located just a short walk from the Havensight Pier. This gondola ride takes passengers 700 feet above the port, offering breathtaking views of St. Thomas harbor and the surrounding islands. The aerial tramway provides a quick seven-minute journey to Paradise Point, where visitors can enjoy panoramic vistas of Charlotte Amalie and beyond.
Paradise Point was a gorgeous spot — I only wish I had gone during sunset or on a clearer day! Even with some clouds, the view was breathtaking, and the ride up (though a little bumpy and loud) added to the experience. The bar has a relaxed vibe, definitely more suited for an older crowd looking to unwind. I tried a few drinks for the first time and they were so good. The spot is also perfect for cute pictures, and the souvenir shop has some cool finds — especially the crystal necklaces sold by a lovely woman inside. There’s also a scenic walk up there, including a short rail path that really immerses you in the view. Just a heads-up: the day we went was really hot and sunny, so I’d recommend checking the weather first to make the most of it. If you’re into unique views, a chill bar vibe, and fun little shops, it’s worth the trip!

Great place to see the port, ship and surrounding areas. The food and drinks are very good. The staff is friendly and have good service. The pictures don’t do it justice you really have to go there and see it. I will do this again.

A fun experience and a great view at top of the Skyride to Paradise. The Baileys Bushwacker was delicious too. A good noonish excursion in Saint Thomas. I reccomend it!
George W — Google review
I pre-arranged my ticket through my cruise line. I went not long after the ship docked and there was long line ups going down the stairs. I left and came back around 2:00 PM and there was no line. Since I already had a ticket I didn’t have to wait, there was a friendly staff who gave me my bracelet and told me what to do. There are nice views at the top if you like taking photos as well as bathrooms, restaurant , places to sit, and stores. There are seats to wait when you want to go back down and the staff there give clear instructions and are there to assist if needed. There are ledges in the skyride you can lean/ kind of sit on, it’s not a full seat but it works well enough that you can lean on it if you don’t want to stand fully. I would recommend this if you are looking for something to do. It was a quick walk from where my ship docked with plenty of stores along the way.
R — Google review
Nice view on top of Paradise point. They have stores where you can buy souvenirs. They have restaurants as well where you can enjoy your food while overlooking at St Thomas view. It was cloudy when we went, and we didn't get a clear view as we would like to see. Employees were friendly.
Jo Y — Google review
Took the skyline and the staff was pleasant and we came from the ground level to the top of mountain on the skyline cable ride. Very beautiful experience, the restaurant bar actually had non alcoholic drinks. I got the mango ice froze drink. It was good, taste like real mango
Robert P — Google review
Fun time and good food at the grill. Didn't have Bushwackers, but non-alcoholic drinks that were great. Shopped and took lots of pictures.
Nancy R — Google review
Tickets weren't cheap for what's up there. The view is nice but that's about it. We didn't eat so I can't mention anything there. The shopping is typical tourist stuff. The ride is nice and quick. If it rains you will get wet. No real seats just a place to lean basically. The cars don't stop so you walk on/off as it moves. I believe tickets were about 30-40 dollars per person. If you want a view of the area it's nice but beyond that I'd say skip

Nestled in St. Thomas, Secret Harbour Beach Resort offers a laid-back atmosphere with its beachfront location and array of amenities. The resort boasts an outdoor pool, gym, and water sports for guests to enjoy. With two on-site restaurants including the Sunset Grille, dining options are plentiful. Formerly part of Wyndham, the independent Sugar Bay Resort and Spa overlooks St. John and the British Virgin Islands from its bluff location.
We stayed for 7 nights in a beachfront 2 bedroom unit. Accommodations were super comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the reef is stunning. We spent hours snorkeling each day; the bay is calm and snorkeling is good for beginners or those more experienced. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and shady spots under the beautiful trees. The patio bar makes a delicious BBC, and the food was wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and very helpful. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. This was our second stay and we will be back.
Heather S — Google review
We ate lunch here and the food was amazing. Our waitress was great. The beachview on the patio was perfect and the menu offered lots of choices. The beach here was superb. The crowd had a nice share of families. The water was fairly clear and the beach was very clean. Chairs, umbrellas were all offered for a cost.
Sherika S — Google review
Great location, beach was great and house cleaning was fantastic. Lost all water pressure one night and ran out of hot water very fast every day. Room needed a new mattress. Restaurant was great.
Josh B — Google review
The views of the ocean and beach are absolutely stunning — definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooms are very nice and well-kept, making for a comfortable experience overall. The only downside was the service at the restaurant. While the food is great once it arrives, the wait time was over 45 minutes, which really took away from the experience. If they can improve the speed of service, this place would be nearly perfect.
Ben C — Google review
Absolutely loved our stay at Secret Harbour. I was there with my husband but we are already talking about bringing the kids back in a few years. Rooms were spacious and clean with a full kitchen and private patio. The beach was amazing with ample chairs and hammocks. The water was calm and perfect for snorkeling. We frequently ate/drank at the Patio- the food ranged from mediocre to great but the drinks were consistently fantastic. I could not recommend this hotel more!
Liz S — Google review
Our trip to Secret Harbour was great! The snorkeling was very fun and convenient off right off the shore. The restaurants were delicious, and you can't beat the views! We did run into a few snags with our room though. The water pump went out and we were without water for a day, and when it was turned back on it was very brown and dirty, and we had an issue with our deadbolt on our door. It locked and would not open back up, we were stuck in our room overnight. I brought up our issues with on reservation supervisor, and she did everything in her power to help us out, and gave us some restaurant credit for our troubles. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the island. It is stunning and the location is very close to Red Hook, where there are shops and restaurants, along with the ferry rides to St. John!
Joe K — Google review
The beach/location is fantastic. It was not overly crowded. There’s also a decent restaurant steps away. Our room was dated and had several issues. The toilet didn’t work except for every third flush. Our tv didn’t work most of the time, which wouldn’t be a big deal if it wasn’t playoff basketball. We also didn’t have water for part of our stay because of a pipe that burst. The room was very clean though. And the staff attempted to address our issues. Overall the accommodations were mid, but the view and beach were fantastic.
Dawn B — Google review
Posting approximately a month after our stay to ensure the validity of our statements and to not be emotional yet factual. We got married at Secret Harbour 6/14/25 and had 32 guests fly in! 16 of our guests stayed at the resort alongside my new husband and I. In booking our wedding, we realize the hotel & our planners are two separate entities. However, we were informed that we would be given upgrades for the fact we were having our wedding there and the amount of people that stayed using our code. We are still trying to understand where our upgrades were. Out of all our friends/couples, we the bride and groom, had the smallest room given to us. There was absolutely no space to do hair & make up for my mom & I in our tiny room. We had to use a friends room that had prime location on the beach. Maybe the room that should have been given to the bride & groom? We don’t like to complain so we dealt with it. Thought maybe a bottle of champagne in our room or something on our wedding day… absolutely nothing. Except! The ceiling did start leaking on our wedding night. We informed the front desk and on our last full day they asked us if we wanted to pack up and move rooms for the last night before checking out in the morning. Appreciate the offer, however, spending our last full day after our wedding shuffling rooms was not ideal. We declined and had to walk around puddles in our room that was already small as is. Nishema was the only kind employee at the front desk. The older woman was very rude and blamed problems on us. Including a taxi driver that drove my solo sister to a dangerous location, she said my sister took the wrong taxi and yelled at me. However the driver said the location my sister was supposed to go to, therefore she took the correct taxi. In attempting to speak to her, as mentioned she simply yelled at me. Which was unacceptable. Nishema always had a smile on her face and was so helpful with any questions. We really appreciated her. The very first night, there were no working toilets on the property for approximately 6-7 hours. That was a little rough and unexpected. This could happen anywhere and does not reflect the rating, simply mentioning it. The beach hut was nice and the men that staffed that were kind & helpful. It was nice exchanging wet towels when needed and grabbing cold water bottles. Sunset grille saved the trip as the food was delicious. We enjoyed many of the appetizers at the patio, the pizza and salads were great. Again, we understand the wedding planners and resort are separate entities, however very displeased with the resort. We were emailed approximately a week after we left regarding the leaking ceiling and offered a free 2 night stay. That was nice but simply did not make up for our situation in which we brought 16 guests to the resort and had zero wedding upgrades provided. We LOVE the island and will be returning to celebrate future anniversaries, however, that will never be at Secret Harbour, which is a real shame and makes us very sad.

The resort provides top-notch services and amenities including free Wi-Fi access and accessible parking options. It is located in Frydendal, offering studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom accommodation suites ideal for two to six guests.
Loved our stay here. Great rooms and a comfortable bed. We didn't use the beach side pool and restaurant (much) due to the awful smelling sargassum seaweed smell, but that wasn't an issue at our rooms or the upper infinity pool. We never had an issue finding parking, but it WAS a long walk up the hill to our rooms if we didn't want to wait on a golf cart tram. This place is very well maintained. I also recommend the 2-hour evening catamaran cruise.
Duane H — Google review
The resort was overall a great place. It has a lot of potential and for the rate, the experience was good. I just can't accept the smell of the seaweed!!! And not to be able to access the beach because of it is why I gave it 3 stars. If management finds a way to control the seaweed's spread and smell, this place would be a spot that I would recommend and even revisit. The restaurant staff was amazing! And the staff overall were polite and helpful. Please do something about the seaweed.
D W — Google review
The best part about the resort is specifically the restaurant ! The food is amazing and the manager Jai is extremely nice and takes care of you very attentively. I went to St thomas for my birthday and can say the resort itself is okay. I think having djs or pool parties of some sort for the young adults would be nice. But i have no complaints about the restaurant. Me and my friend ate there everyday and loved it!
C — Google review
I really love most everything about this resort. The staff was OUTSTANDING 10/10, the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The views from Bldg 10 were great. I only have 2 complaints-- lack of food options, and the lack of food at the infinity pool bar--HUGE MISTAKES How can you only served food 1x during an hour and then cutoff at 2pm when the pool is open until 10pm. The infinity pool area is the best thing at the resort, but seems like it was forgotten about in the guest experience plan.
Tina M — Google review
The place was beautiful but I could not get over the saragassum smell. It made it so we could not utilize the main pool or bea h or even enjoy food in the open air restaurant or bar. Our room was clean and large. The staff was very apologetic about the smell. They offered golf cart rides up to the hilltop pool where there was no smell. They also offered shuttles to 2 nearby beaches to enjoy. The area around the resort seems very much "local". Not close to many shops or dining options without a car or near many tourist areas. It's a shame because the resort is beautful and I felt we couldn't enjoy it as much as we could have.
Nicole P — Google review
We checked in and they brought us to our room and it smelled moldy. I understand that it is very humid in St. Thomas, however this room smelled like it hadn't been opened on months. We communicated that and we were given a new room which was better. Room size was good. They are using old pictures on their website. A hurricane hit their beach and there is no sand beach left to relax on. They are using seaweed to be the reason that they are busing you to other beaches which a nice option but paying that much for a hotel that doesn't has a beach on property was not enjoyable. Staff was friendly.
Falon H — Google review
Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, but calling the front desk for service of any kind was futile. We had no hot water our first day until the next day. Our coffee maker didn't work - "we'll send someone to fix or replace it." That never happened. Our daughter requested champagne to be sent to our room on the day of our anniversary. "We'll have it delivered." She called three times to make sure. That never happened. We requested the advertised, complimentary shuttle service to be taken back from Sapphire Beach. We were at the specific location 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled pickup. That never happened, so we wasted over an hour and a half waiting, finally having to take a cab on our own dime. They wouldn't refund that expense, either. Don't say you're going to do something and then just not deliver. When hurricane Erin caused the day-long cruise to be canceled, we were refunded approximately half of what we paid up-front. Really? Who kept that money? We celebrated our anniversary regardless, but seriously, management really needs to be on top of service issues.
Tim D — Google review
Two days into my vacation. Just know when you check-in, they immediately pitch you at concierge for a time share. You can't get your room key without it. Terrible experience getting pressured into a meeting when I just want to get to my room. Room's AC did its best with one vent, but it wasn't cool. We are in the 14th building and have to trek up and down the hill anytime we want to get our car, resteraunt, bar, etc.. Expensive drinks. Other than that, people are generally friendly and the pours are generous. Left side driving here everyone!

Very quiet, secluded beach, convenient to several places. Not the fault of the resort but taxi fares on the island are not good, it would be worth doing a cost/benefit for a rental. Resort has nice parking as well.

The perfect place for a holiday. The property is well laid out, the welcome very friendly and the service impressive. The hotel has its own private beach and swimming pool to help you relax and unwind. The bakery and the restaurant on the property is good enough to take care of your food and drinking needs. We stayed at this hotel 7/5/25-7/8/25. We had the best experience. The staff is very accommodating, very helpful, and everyone was so nice. This was our first trip to St. Thomas and the staff made our stay so much easier. It definitely will not be our last time to visit. The room was spacious and clean. On the day the room was cleaned everything was restocked from the washing powder to the beach towels. The pool area is beautiful, with direct beach access. There is only one restaurant on the grounds, but the food was good. (We ate there three times). You can take the complementary shuttle between the other two sister hotels next door and patronize the other restaurants. Thank you Marriott staff for helping to make our stay memorable. Special thanks to the concierge service, and Mr. Marvin.

The resort is beautiful. Couldn't ask for better views. Infinity edge pool over looking the ocean was a highlight, the beach was wonderful and watching cruise ships come into Port was great. Onsite restaurant was a total let down. Good was consistently way over cooked and there were limited options. If you have resort credit to burn be careful, we felt handcuffed because of the amount of resort credit we had. Can only use it at the restaurant and the on-site market. Just got illustration purposes, 1 packet of crystal light mix for a 16 oz water is $3. That's 1 packet. Just keep your eyes open when shopping. Other than that, the resort is awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and the views.
David J — Google review
The view is fantastic and the rooms are clean. That’s where the positives stop. Not a single staff. Member has been courteous to me. I was told I had to wait for the next elevator because cleaning staff intended to take this elevator on my way to the lobby. The Seacliff Tower only has one elevator. Uber does not exist on this island so you have to take a cab everywhere. I assume the cab companies are in league with the hotels as the hotel radios a cab for you. Make sure you pay exact change. I don’t know if they’re splitting what they steal from you when they refuse to give you change with the hotel staff, but it would seem that they do because when I requested specifically a cab that would take credit cards so that it couldn’t be robbed. The guy didn’t take credit cards anyway and robbed me for $10 just like the guy the day before. Unless you absolutely have to stay at this hotel for the love of God find somewhere else.

For a hotel this expensive they should be more flexible with check in and check out times . Also water should be complimentary considering the elegance of the hotel and the fact it’s so darn HOTT!

Housekeeping was understaffed so it took 5 hours to check in. The front desk staff blamed a cancelled flight, but according to other reviews, this is a chronic problem. They have a free shuttle to the beach but they wouldn’t let us go on it because you have to sign up the day before, so we had to just sit in the lobby for 5 hours, waiting. To compensate us for our time, they gave us coupons for 2 glasses of fruit punch (for 8 people). We specifically chose this hotel because they have laundry service, but their facilities are being “renovated” so we had to carry our laundry through town to a laundromat. The restaurant only has about 6 entrees. The server tried to make me write a Google review about her and stood over me, waiting and watching my phone. She practically followed me out of the restaurant because I didn’t want to write a review in front of her and she even called her manager over to try to stop me from leaving. Food was ok but dessert was served to us still frozen. The facility is very eye pleasing, the rooms are clean and smell nice. The beds are hard. The pool is small but well maintained and clean. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Images look like it’s got a beach out front across the road but it’s actually a concrete wall, so there is no available beach or even a walkway.

Not the fanciest place to stay, as the building is a little worn, but the service was excellent. From front desk to security, they were all friendly and accommodating. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. Good view of the waterfront. Convenient to airport. Common accommodation for airline vouchers.

Plumbing is terrible, toilets are slow to flush, the water is brown in sink and shower area , shower makes a loud noise when you turn it on. Hotel has no day or night life, nothing to entertain guess , guess really can’t enjoy the grounds nothing to enjoy unless you want just look at the courtyard and look at the pool. very disappointed with the hotel. Would not recommend to friends. The Owner needs to put some major work into the hotel to reach its full potential. Hotel looks awesome on the website, but when you see it in person, you feel you were a bit deceived.

Just horrible. Started at check in, but here we are on our last night and our room key cards stopped working. The desk clerks blamed me for deprogramming them by not keeping them in the sleeve provided. They kept saying to keep them away from smartphones and credit cards. Now, where are we to carry them? Anyway, after me having to go up and down to the 4th floor five times the security guy finally came and determined that the door had been deprogrammed. What a waste of my time doing what they should have done in the first place. Secondly, these rooms are not sound proof and this place is loud. Too loud. Every car, motorcycle, boat, & airplane sounds like it is inside the room with us. Horrible. After being moved after the first night, we did get a room with a working A/C & fridge, but the new fridge started leaking all over the floor. We also have a lamp that blinks on and off. Just unplugged it. There are no hooks anywhere in the room to hang anything, like wet towels, swimming suits, nothing. The balcony is useless, so narrow can only stand on it, no room for chairs. Not a very good experience. Sorry.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was blown away! From the moment I arrived, the staff Lizann was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and offered stunning views. The amenities, especially the pool and gym, were top-notch. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Overall, it was an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay!

For the breakfast, is a bit late to open. Because I need to leave by 7:30. Also please have hot sauce. Otherwise breakfast is great. Rooms clean and nice. At one point I did need to talk with someone in the early morning hours and there was no one at the front desk or in the back room.

Renisha /Liz we’re the most hospitable front desk attendant I’ve encountered. They went the extra mile to make sure our 3 night were amazing ! I hope management and the owner knows how lucky they are to have them. We’re coming back in November and I hope to see them again. Their smile was contagious. I didn’t want to go home.

Hotel
Point Pleasant Resort is a stunning vacation destination located on the East End of Saint Thomas VI. The resort offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, local islands, and beautiful beaches. Guests can enjoy the wrap-around balcony that provides 180-degree views and cool Caribbean breezes. The resort features hilltop suites with eagle's-eye views, as well as sea-level junior suites with soothing sounds of lapping waves.
The resort is very beautiful and has many nice rooms. The one thing to know is that the rooms are privately owned and the properties are managed by the resort. With this being said, make sure to look into which room you are booking as some are better taken care of than others as it is the private owners responsibility for the upkeep of the rooms (repairs, refurbishment, upgrades, etc.) not the resort itself. The resort manages the overall property as well as the cleaning of the rooms. The resort has 24/7 security and a great staff! They allowed us to check in a few hours early and made sure to help with finding the room and getting our luggage in. The bellman, Norman, is an awesome guy and was so welcoming! He recommended several spots to us, took us up to our room and even gave us a ride up to the door in his own vehicle(some of the roads are tight so he had us park our rental in the nearby parking area) and brought our luggage in for us! This place is a great price for everything that you get, especially compared to other nearby locations. Room service is on an as requested basis, and you just have to go to the main office for fresh towels and linens or call, and they will bring them to your room. The property has great views but is very vertical as it is on a hill (which is why you have such great views), which means there are a lot of steps if you want to walk down to the bar and grill or the small private beach and back if you have a hilltop villa. As long as you are in decent shape, you will be fine. Also, there are several parking areas so you can drive down to a lower parking area and have a much shorter walk. Overall, my wife and I could not be happier with the suite and the experience with the resort staff. As long as you research and choose a well maintained/upgraded room and are willing to do a little up and down walking(or driving), you will have an awesome experience!

The location and views are excellent. The one-bedroom units are approximately 500 square feet and include a large terrace. The property is conveniently located near most beaches; Lindquist Beach is about a four-minute drive away with 7 dollars entrance fee for adults and 2 dollars parking, Coki beach is walkable but better if you drive and pay 5 dollars parking. Rooms are not cleaned daily but can be serviced upon request. The unit was equipped with everything necessary, although the kitchen and utensils were somewhat outdated. Service is minimal, limited mainly to a staff member who opens the gate for guests.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week. Our experience was outstanding. The service here is top notch, from the front desk to the security team and shuttle drivers, but especially the staff at the two restaurants on the property. Our condo was clean and updated. I especially enjoyed some of the cats on the property, Ferdinand was the light of our trip. We will be back.

10/10!!! Beautiful resort with amazing views! We enjoyed the nature trail and the restaurant on site. This resort is 8 min from Red Hook and about 22 min from Charlotte Amalie. Its relaxing with ocean views!

We stayed in B7 and it was beautiful. You can’t beat waking up to that view every day. Rooms were very clean and well kept. I do wish they had some lounge chairs on the deck - or at least another Adirondack chair so 2 can sit together. The man made beach is a bit rocky and very small, but Coki beach is walking distance and that was amazing! We loved the food and service at Sun & Sea bar as well (so much better than Margaritaville next door). Overall a fabulous first experience in St. Thomas!
Kelly R — Google review
My friend and I stayed here for 6 days and we loved it! They have 3 pools around the resort and 2 places to eat. It’s located in a bay/cove so the views were great. The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. Shoutout to Norman, who shuttled us from our room to the lobby multiple times, as the resort is hilly. He is a great man and it was a pleasure to meet him and get to know him. The staff delivered toiletries, towels, and sheets to the room as needed when you called and requested it. They even give you a list of taxi companies to call when you want to leave the resort and go to beaches/restaurants/shopping/etc. The taxis are cash only so definitely bring a lot of cash. Overall we would recommend this resort to a friend/family who wants to vacation to st Thomas. The resort was clean as well. They did not have a beach on the property, but a local beach called Coki beach is a 5-10min walk away. It was a great week staying at point pleasant resort, and will definitely miss it!!

We visited Point Pleasant Resort for our honeymoon! It was fantastic is every aspect. The staff was phenomenal. They helped with travel arrangements around the island, recommendations to restaurants, attractions to visit and much more. Everyone was very pleasant. The rooms are clean along with the grounds. Security was present. We will definitely recommend Point Pleasant Resort!! We can’t wait to go back!!

Point Pleasant is a great place to stay in St Thomas! The villas have a beautiful view and are very clean. The staff there is also very nice! The location was also amazing. You are about 7 mins away from redhook which is where a lot of excursions and restaurants are. Even if you don’t want to venture out, the resort has some pretty nice restaurants and 3 pools. Margaritaville is a short walk away if you want to go somewhere else and don’t want to drive. Coki beach is also walking distance. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here!

Sapphire Beach is a serene and inviting destination located on the northeastern coast of St. Thomas. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with palm trees providing shade and an expansive stretch of white sand. The beach is popular among cruise ship passengers, families, and adventure seekers due to its range of water activities such as snorkeling. Visitors can also enjoy amenities like snorkel gear and beach chair rentals, as well as a beach bar for refreshments.
I visited Sapphire Beach for the first time in May 2025 and it has gorgeous views of the ocean and mountains, clear water, and is located near restaurants that serve really good food, drinks, and has a calming atmosphere!! The music they play was great to me as well. You can bring your own towels or chairs, or you can rent lounge chairs and cabanas. This beach does have rocks in the sand so be careful, but have fun! I will definitely come back here when I'm in St. Thomas!
Bree W — Google review
Pretty beach, close to our rental but loud as hell. Don't know why they need to blast the music to a deafening level but everyone else seems to love going to the beach same having to scream talk to each other. But it is pretty. The water is super clear and there's tons of amenities around there
Jeremy — Google review
Lots of crowds but amazing snorkeling to the right and left of the cove. Anything close to shore is dead from everyone stepping on the coral unfortunately but if you go out far enough it is amazing. Coral gardens and lots of fish. Come early in the day to see sea turtles feeding on the left side of the beach. Also saw an Spotted Eagle Ray! Good water visibility.
Bryan H — Google review
First time my GF and I had been there, but the beach was absolutely beautiful. Probably considered a medium size beach (by me anyway), nice white sand and super clear water. Chairs can be rented. We did visit one of the shops and use the restroom. Has a nice point near the rocks also for more picture opportunities.
Paul S — Google review
Lots of sea "plants" on beach, in ocean here. Some spots of beautiful water can be found though. Lots of people as public and condo populations are present and it's a narrow beach. Food and bar here. Found it difficult to find the public parking location. 4ish minute walk from lot.
Marcus L — Google review
Beautiful beach with lots of fish, friendly iguanas and other wildlife. My kids had fun snorkeling as I sat on a blanket in the shade from the grape trees. There is a bar, restaurant, store, bathroom, etc. It was a little crowded though, especially since you have to dodge the reef to swim around. Also the sand was course with lots of rocks.
Magnolia B — Google review
Cruise excursion crowded area, beach had some lounge chairs and snorkels for use. Most of the corals has been stepped on and sparse sea life remains center of beach.
Michael R — Google review
My family returns to St. Thomas every year at Thanksgiving and we always stay at a resort at Sapphire Beach. There are several resorts here so you have options. This beach is perfect because of its location to the resorts. It also has an amazing restaurant and bar attached for convenience. It’s pricey, but you could literally stay here for the entire week and not leave. If you like snorkeling there is plentiful options around the coral just off the center portion of the beach. Location to Red Hook is also awesome for other places to eat, the yacht club and fresh food markets. We’ve found our forever spot and will always return to Sapphire Beach!

Magens Bay is a popular destination on St. Thomas, attracting tourists, hotel guests, and cruise ship passengers. The beach can get crowded, especially when multiple cruise ships are in port. To avoid the crowds, it's best to visit in the morning or late afternoon. Locals consider it one of the top 10 beaches globally and the best on the island due to its calm waters protected by the Peterborg peninsula.
Locals call it “one of the 10 best beaches in the world!” It is definitely the best on the island. Water is very calm, because it’s protected by the long Peterborg peninsula. There are a lot of fish, turtles, and chartered yachts. White sands are fine and soft. Rocks on both sides are ideal for snorkeling. The water temperature is perfect, 85F even in the morning during Christmas season. All beach amenities are onsite. Between 10 am and 3 pm, shuttles bring in loads and loads of tourists from the cruise ships docked on the other side of the island. If you come in earlier or later, however, you pretty much own the beach. Incredible experience!
Chang Y — Google review
Stunning! We took a cab from our cruise port to Magens Bay with Mr. Kash(he was wonderful!) The water is absolutely beautiful and pretty clear but the undercurrent is pretty intense. Just be careful-a wave knocked me down and I was out for the count after! When we went mid Feb, we were able to see turtles swimming near us. The whole area is so beautiful-they had restrooms and a restaurant (that wasn't open when we went)
Desiree F — Google review
Spent $12 pp for the taxi $7pp for entrance 2 loungers and 1 umbrella $40 = RIPOFF NO WIFI NO MUSIC food and drinks expensive and not good. NO WIFI!!! Beach decent no value in coming here will not return. My most expensive stop on my cruising journey.
Mrs D — Google review
Magens Bay Beach had some nice aspects, but overall, it felt overpriced for what we got. The beach itself was decent, but the extras were lacking. $7 per person for entrance and $40 for loungers and an umbrella felt steep, and one nasty attitude beach attendant. The biggest letdown was the lack of WiFi and music, which would have enhanced the atmosphere. The taxi ride there was also pricey given the short distance; $12 per person. If they could work on the amenities and pricing, it could be a great spot. For now, it's an okay beach experience.
E S — Google review
This beach is absolutely breathtaking, even though the weather wasn’t cooperating. It’s truly a stunning place!
Shawn C — Google review
It costs $15 each in a taxi from the port to Magen’s Bay. It cost $7 each to enter the beach. The food cost $12 for a burger and $6 for a drink. $12 for an alcoholic drink. I’d suggest bringing drink and food with you. $20 for a sun lounger and umbrella. The view and beach was amazing.
Robert L — Google review
We’d read per other reviews that the cost to taxi up to Magens Bay (from the cruise port) would be $8. It seems that the costs have gone up 50%! It’s $12 each way + the $5 to enter the park. Not a huge deal for most unless you have a large family traveling. Count on $30 pp and you should be good. I’d have given this place 4-5 stars except for one important thing…the restroom facilities. See my quick video clip. I couldn’t begin to change clothes in there. Very much in need of remodel and cleaning. The beach and the view are very beautiful which is what we came to see and experience. 👍🏼 Traveling back down the mountainside to the cruise port was quite the experience. Narrow roads. Speeds seemed fast in an open-air vehicle Lol! Our party enjoyed the thrill, but some may not, if especially sensitive to motion. Upon descending the hill, there’s a quick, but beautiful view of the Charlotte Amalie bay. 🙌🏻
Lisa W — Google review
Well it definitely lives up to the hype. There were 2 cruise ships in port on the day of our visit but it didn't seem too crowded. We found a picnic table near the water, dropped our stuff and went swimming. The view is spectacular. Feels like you are in movie. We purchased this as a cruise excursions but you could honestly get a cab and come on your own for way cheaper! Highly recommend. Remember to bring reef safe sunscreen!

Villa Mirino is a popular 5-bedroom rental in St. Thomas, located on the East end and just a 5-minute drive from Red Hook. It offers breathtaking views, spacious living areas, an infinity pool, and an outdoor kitchen perfect for dining and relaxing at any time of day. Guests rave about the privacy it offers for multiple guests and its meticulous maintenance. The property also boasts stunning panoramic views from its giant outdoor pool deck and lanai.
We stayed at Villa Mirino while visiting St. Thomas for our son’s destination wedding. The owners provided us with so much information prior to our trip and were very quick to respond to my endless questions! The views from the villa are breathtakingly beautiful. The villa was very clean and the owners provided many personal touches to make it a home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes, pots & pans, and every appliance you could ever think of. The property is very well taken care of both inside and out and the location is perfect. I highly recommend Villa Mirino!

We stayed at Villa Mirino for a week in July, the first thing you notice as soon as you walked in was the view! It's so breathtaking beautiful...I could sit there all day just to look at the water. Saw a sting ray swim by one day too! We love the outdoor living room as well, with the TV.. Be careful with mosquitoes though, make sure you have bug spray handy, it's the island...so they are everywhere at anytime! Wifi connection was great, we never had a problem with the connection. The kitchen has plenty of seasonings and other things that we needed, even some complimentary liquor! (Although, we didn't try any of it) Dewey was very responsive and helpful from very beginning. The owner is really thoughtful with everything the guest need, house had everything we need and then some. Location was great, near the red hooks and some restaurants. Secret Harbor Beach was our favorite and it's only 0.6 mile from the house. Villa Mirino is great, you won't regret staying here. Thank you Dewey for letting us stay at your beautiful house!

My wife and I, together with three other couples recently spent 10 days at this villa. Great location - close to Red Hook - but the villa is so nice why leave? Great indoor and outdoor spaces, terrific sunrises and sunsets all viewed from the pool overlooking the Caribbean. We will definitely be back!

Living in Villa Mirino is a dream come true. You can spend an afternoon at one of a dozen nearby beaches. Or, you can simply float in the villa pool, perched on a cliff, and listen to crashing waves below. One December night we woke at 2 am to watch the Geminid meteor shower from deck lounge chairs. There is no light pollution here, so the sky is brilliant every night and filled with stars I've never seen before. The house and decks flow seamlessly for 2 of us, and it was just as easy to live there during the week we were 5. If you cook, the kitchen is outfitted thoughtfully and thoroughly. We cooked nearly every day. It was easy. There's a gourmet grocer minutes away. And, It was fun. There's a a magnificent grill and full outdoor kitchen as well. The five bedrooms are large and four have full ensuite baths. The beds are firm and comfortable with lots of pillow choices. The furnishings are Italian tropical...more upscale than Florida tropical and very tasteful.

Hassel Island Historic District, once a peninsula connected to mainland St. Thomas, was separated by the Danish government to improve water circulation and prevent the spread of diseases. This 135-acre island has a rich history including wars, pirate activity, and infamous murders. The area is secluded with no restaurants or buildings but offers a peaceful anchorage for boats.
This truly is a place for someone to escape, we are Anchored here on our Catermeran with four other boats. There are no restaurants, buildings, roads or even people on this side of the island. The boats at this anchorage roll a lot, have a good anchor and a lot of scope out. The wake of the Ferry's and ships leaving/ entering Crown Bay Port can, can be a relaxing rock to nearly throwing you off the boat, and your anchor free. Hassel Island faces Water Island on the South West Side and opens Frenchmans Bay/ to the Sea, the other end a tiny channel (first picture with Rocks & Blue Building is the cut)you can enter by boat or dinghy Charolett Amellie, only this side of Hassel Island is visible by Charolett Amellie. A lot of people confuse Hassel Island. I was confused as people talk about Water Island and pointed at the small island that lies between Charlotte Amellie & Water Island - HASSEL until I came by boat I didn't know there were 2 islands. Tours are available to visit the small island, under USVI tourism for more information.

And if you wanted to get the workout right there, simply venture down and grab a kayak or 5! The meticulously maintained landscaping deserves special mention - lush tropical plants and the lovely morning heliotrope created a true island paradise atmosphere throughout the grounds. The kids were in heaven - they practically lived in the water, alternating between the pristine bay and the private pool. When they needed a break, the game room became their headquarters with endless ping-pong tournaments, movie watching, and board game competitions. While we enjoyed day trips to St. John and Coral World, honestly, you could spend the entire week just enjoying this incredible property and never get bored. The staff who prepared the property were fantastic, and the property management's communication and service were simply unbeatable. Our most memorable evening was our impromptu 'Italian Night' - we dressed up in button-ups with slicked-back hair, blasted Sinatra throughout the property on the amazing Alexa sound system (which reaches every corner of the estate!), and dined under the stars. Can it get better than this place? Fuggetaboutit! If you're looking for the ultimate St. Thomas experience with a large group, Beach House VI delivers everything you could possibly hope for and more. We truly felt like royalty during our stay and can't wait to return!

We had the best time staying at the beautiful beach house! The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and spacious, offering everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the highlights was canoeing over to Magens Bay—it was such a fun experience for the whole family! The kids can't stop talking about it and keep asking when we can go back. A special shoutout to our amazing driver for the week, Lyndon—he made everything so easy and enjoyable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Hello, I'm the young woman who made the video on TikTok that unintentionally targeted your hotel. I tried to reply to you on the platform but it seems like your account has been suspended. I would just like to give my most uptmost apologies as I was unaware that there were two hotels of the same name in the same island. I've posted a correction update. Thank you reaching out to me.

Incredible, the views and amenities(the pool and game room are my favorite!) here are unlike anywhere else. Try it once and you’ll be comparing everywhere else you go to this.

This exclusive property boasts breathtaking ocean views and features a gated entrance for added privacy. This Villa has had the most amazing refurb. It is absolutely beautiful. Set on different levels, each room its own private oasis, it has one of the best views on the island, no question, and has every convenience at your fingertips. You will love this 5 star gem

Rented this villa for an event and we did not get access to the indoor bathrooms and the place was also rented to people who were staying there. This was very tacky of the owner to rent us the space and also have people on the grounds while we were having the event. We asked to use the fridge to keep things cold and were not given access. Overall we made do with what was given to us and the area was very nice but the owner was very tacky and unprofessional.

Pictures on website are great, but to see and experience Villa Viento in person is pure heaven!! Sunrise views from bedroom, pool, main house were amazing. Close enough to water to hear the waves...and at night the sound of the Coqui frogs...unlike anything I've heard before! All the bedrooms and main room were decorated perfectly for this island villa-- we had quite the time deciding who would get to stay where. Each bedroom has its own key and private bath, perfect for several couples/families/friends staying here. I love that everyone could sleep as little or much as they wanted, as we would just gather at the main room and pool area when we were ready for the day--without worrying about waking up the others. This villa is spacious! There was sooooo much seating in the main house and patio/ pool area. Huge kitchen perfect for dining in! Huge TV in main house and large TVs in bedrooms as well. Pool was beautiful and clean….we had so much fun swimming/ playing/ lying on floats. Hot tub was down a level from pool, giving it much privacy. Gated neighborhood and then gated entrance to this villa leaves you feeling very safe. There was plenty of outdoor lighting around patio and pool. Every room had air conditioning. And having a laundry room for sandy clothes and wet towels and swimsuits was awesome!! So much better than dealing with all of that mess in a hotel! Everything seems new and clean in this villa, from furniture/decor to appliances. I can’t say just how impressed I was!! It was definitely a dream vacation----and I dream of returning one day!!! St. Thomas and St. John have gorgeous beaches- my pictures look like they have filters or have been photoshopped!! And they are just from my iPhone!! We visited Lindquist beach, Smith Bay, Trunk bay, Mountain top, Paradise Point, Hawksnest beach, Sapphire beach, Magens Bay, And our host/concierge Amy Dukes was great! In addition to beaches, she told us about this great bagel and coffee shop down the road that we ended up going to every morning- try every single specialty bagel sandwich!! So good! Oh and a homemade ice-cream shop nearby as well- must have the coconut!!! Very refreshing to have someone be so efficient and organized and respond promptly to any questions or concerns before and during the trip. You never know what you will get when you rent a privately owned place managed by a company, but this vacation went perfectly thanks to Island Dream Vacations and Amy! I would highly recommend!!!

Spectacular views of Magen's Bay and the north side of St Thomas. The property is secluded, well appointed and immaculately maintained. Plenty of room for groups/multiple couples while proving space for privacy and quiet time.

There really aren't any words that could express how much my family loves staying in this Villa. After months of going back and forth trying to decide if we should travel due to the pandemic and second guessing ourselves every step of the way we could not have been more pleased that we decided to go. This was our second time staying in Villa Panorama and it truly feels like a second home to us. The location of the property is on the Northside which is much more quiet and residential. Unlike other areas on the Northside, Villa Panorama is nestled in a small gated community with the most amazing views of Magen's, Hans Lollik, St. John etc... The view is like a constantly changing work of art that brings such peace it can be hard to describe. Villa Panorama is clearly able to accommodate a large amount of guests, for us it is simply a perfect family home. Every aspect of this Villa just feels like home. Vonda, the owner, besides her usual kindness was so incredibly patient with me with my constant we are coming, we are not coming (decided nine days before). Dorothy, the Property manager, is an absolute gem, pleasant and ready to handle whatever is thrown her way. We stayed during the second shut down due to covid and also were there during tropical storm Laura - we still had the most amazing vacation. Mostly, I believe because we felt we were safe at "home".

A beautiful and secluded home with incredible views. Equipped with all we needed for a luxurious and carefree vacation. Loved going to sleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Very lovely house in a great location. We booked our wedding party here for a week several years ago. Our entire experience there was great until we tried to collect our deposit. THIS MAN WILL MAKE EXCUSES TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT. He claimed that because we went into the garage that wasn’t for guests that he was keeping the deposits. Even though there was never any mention of not accessing specific areas nor were they locked. Nice house but beware of the owner.

DELICIOUS BEST FOOD I HAVE OUT OF ANY RESTAURANT! I had a mixed seafood dish with a stuffed ravioli past mix. I have NEVER tasted anything like this before it was unbelievable! The sauce was 😻 amazing. My friend ordered the prime steak 🥩! It was tender and seasoned well. Everything including the dessert was on point. I wish they had a spot on NY! Oh well, I guess this means I must continue to come back. This place MUST receive five stars because of the food, the place was extremely nice and the service was great !
