Resort hotel
Wish Natal is a luxurious 5-star resort located in the Parque das Dunas neighborhood, offering elegant rooms and suites with some featuring ocean views. The hotel is situated in a bustling commercial area surrounded by shops, restaurants, and malls. It provides various amenities including free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, free parking, an outdoor pool with a bar, children's pool, fitness center, playground, and game room. The resort boasts sophisticated facilities and a comprehensive infrastructure for guests.
I stayed at Wish Natal for one week to attend my brother’s wedding festivities. The stay there was incredible. The accommodations were great, as well as the activities there. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious. I think the best part of the stay at Wish Natal was the staff. Most of our large group staying there were visiting Brasil for the first time and do not speak Portuguese; the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and patient with us. I especially appreciated Lucas, Arthur, Michele, and Felipe (although everyone there was great)! I will never forget my week spent at Wish and already want to go back!

We chose the Wish resort through our American Express concierge service. The hotel didn’t let us down. We had planned a birthday trip with 10 family members. The travel agent canceled our reservation 3 days before our trip to Brazil, most of us coming from the USA 🇺🇸. At our checking, Diogo informed us that we only had breakfast included. My husband thought he had booked the all inclusive option. Diogo offered us a great rate! And we were able to get that fixed. We faced a serious challenge in our room due to a potent moldy smell, which posed a significant health risk to our 7-year-old child, who suffers from severe asthma and is allergic to mold. Following an asthma attack during the night on our second day, I contacted the front desk, and Diogo's rapid response was instrumental in resolving the issue. His provision of a 220v to 110v converter and plug adapter allowed us to administer crucial breathing treatments and prevent a potentially severe outcome, Diogo was quick to switch us to another room. He and the front desk staff was a lifesaver. Mikarla our room manager took great care of our room. At the pool restaurant, Saulo was our bartender he work hard, made us awesome caipirinhas, he was always attentive, with a great attitude and enthusiasm. The waiter’s Rodrigo, Emanuel, Felipe, was always attentive and friendly. For the all inclusive each adult gets a 25 min massage, the spa is beautiful and modern. Delaila was our masseuse she was amazing, so knowledgeable, friendly her energy and love for what she does makes you feel welcomed and comfortable, my husband is not the type of guy who likes massages, she made him feel so comfortable and relaxed. He was beyond grateful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Every single item is crafted at the Wish catering ( I found out because my 7yo was obsessed with the rustic bread and I asked the chefs) I need the recipe please! Juliete was our favorite personal at the breakfast, she was so friendly, made us feel like family. She was so kind, on our last morning there I asked her for a mimosa ( it’s not part of the menu for breakfast) she was quick to bring me one, I told her it was my 40th birthday and I just wanted to cheered that. That’s when she went an extra mile to make sure my birthday was extra special! Franklin the baker made me a birthday cake 🎂! Juliete brought it to the breakfast table with all the breakfast staff singing happy birthday, everyone sang it together, her and Franklin’s actions show how much they loved what they do! I cried, little they knew my birthday celebration had fallen apart. Their actions made me feel loved and appreciated. I couldn’t have all my family members with us, something I had planned for months, the Wish resort staff didn’t know about anything, they made birthday so special, I’m so thankful for all of them. Please share with all the staff our appreciation! Thank you so much! Sincerely Rimmer Family

Was here during the Thanksgiving break for a friend's wedding. View from the room was fantastic. The breakfast buffets/food in general were also great, and the service staff were all very friendly and helpful (special shoutout to "King Arthur" and Juliette). The front desk staff''s English skills were also excellent. Wifi was also great (very fast in rooms, definitely enough to support video streaming). Obrigado for the great stay!

I stayed on Carnaval 2024. I absolutely loved the hotel, great accommodations and service. I went with half board and found breakfast and dinner very good, great variety and quality, food was all very tasty. The room was comfortable, with lots of space and always very clean. The staff was very nice and always eager to help. If I had to point anything negative I would say that even though there were lots of pool beds, sometimes it was hard to get a pool bed by 10 a.m. because the guests would mark them reserved. Another thing that I think that can be improved is the late check in, I arrived around 11 pm and it wasn't served any kind of snack, the dinner was included in that night, and because we arrived late there wasn't any compensation for this "lost" meal. Globally it was a great stay, it's a great hotel, I recommend it and would absolutely come back.

Breakfast was good with many options of fruits, juice, breads and regional food such as tapioca Private parking space with no extra charge, luggage store with no extra charge Location is very good and i felt safety seen many police officers nearby the hotel during day and night. My room.had a very beautiful view of the beach and nearby sightseeing Morro do Careca

The hotel location is awesome. Right in front of the beach. It has a great swimming pool area and a really good all you can eat restaurant. The rooms very comfortable and have even a small living room separate from the bedrooms. The room I got had two separate bedrooms, which is perfect for couples with kids. The hotel staff are very nice people and provided the best of services during my stay. I rate this hotel 10/10. Would certainly stay here there again.
Matheus O — Google review
the good: excellent shower with a ton of pressure and not electric, nice views, attractive architecture, very clean, excellent wifi the bad: as soon as you enter, they insist you wear a mask, even in the partially outdoor areas. They will annoy you about masks your entire stay. Upon check-in they make you wear a wristband that you need for breakfast the next day. Then when you go to breakfast, they still make you sign in, which means the wristband is pointless. It is incredibly annoying and demeaning to be forced to wear a mask and wristband for no reason. Basically the guests are treated like livestock. The room had no blankets, and when we asked for them, we received white blankets with multiple brown stains. We returned them and got more stained blankets. The bedroom windows are covered in a black film that blocks out all light, so if you want any natural light, you have to open the window and listen to all the noise outside and let all the cold air out. Although there were good aspects of the stay as I mentioned, the bad was much more apparent. If you like wearing a mandatory mask and wristband all day for no reason, and sleeping on brown stained bedding, then you will probably not have a problem here. would not recommend

My stay at Aquaria was excellent. The people at the service desk are very helpful and professional. Some of them speak English too. Room service is always available, fast and have food of very high quality. The rooms are clean and are kept clean by housekeeping. Right across of you is the Ponta Negra beach. You are in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. There is always something to do on the boulevard. I recommend you visit the Midway mall as well. Just ask the front desk to call you a taxi, they are happy to oblige. If you are going to stay in Natal, Brazil; you can't go wrong with Aquaria Natal hotel.

The Serhs Natal Grand Hotel & Resort is a beachfront resort in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte that offers dining, sports courts, and a spa. The modern and airy rooms offer views of either the sea or Ponta Negra Island. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
The best hotel I’ve ever been and the most pleasant surprise. It was almost seven years ago but reading the reviews today proves that the hotel still keeping the highest level of quality. The ocean and pools were great and the room view also. The restaurant offers a lot of variety that is hard to describe if you are from Europe and never been before.

Difficult one , lonely staff very friendly . This is by no means a modern day 5 star hotel . Having stayed in many across the world . It’s charming but transports you back 30 years in time . Desperately needs an upgrade / refurbishment to bring it into the 21 century . Rooms smell of damp need humidifiers , air con needs a revamp and upgrade tho does work , nice to have 80 s style buttons . In all a pleasant hotel with lovely staff but at best a low 4 star . Great sea views !!

Hotel Marsol Beach Resort is a 4-star beachfront property offering simple rooms and attractive prices starting at $370. It's a great option for families looking for value. The resort stands out for its spacious green area, horizontal construction, and easy beach access without the need for stairs, although it doesn't offer beach service.
Fantastic resort in Natal. Very well organised. It's a bit far from everything so if you are looking to isolate yourself is great, but if you want to explore the beautiful beaches around you need a car
Matteo B — Google review
If I could leave a 6 star review I would. Everything about this place seemlessly clicks together for pretty much the perfect vacation spot and arguably the best place I've ever stayed at in my lifetime. The staff are kind and helpful, the beachfront access is gorgeous, the food is some of the best I've had in years and all this for a price point that makes the neighboring hotels look like highway robbery? Incredible, well and truly incredible. If your ever in the area or even so much as considering visiting natal, make sure to swing by.
Argwin A — Google review
Well, I spent seven days here with breakfast and dinner inclusive. I honestly got disappointed with the quality of the food. It was cold almost everyday and lacked diversity. The infrastructure in general is simply amazing and our sight to the ocean was unbelivable. Had a great time.
Enzo — Google review
70's architecture, quite limited definition of "all inclusive", overrun by locals and families using the grounds as a playground. Good quality food, OK beverages. A handful of awesome employees trying their best to accommodate a wide range of customer needs.
Paul R — Google review
Amazing place, although the furniture shows your age. The employees are very nice, the food is very good, the room is clean and comfy, I consider the best place to stay in Natal.

Great staff. The food is always good. Near to the beach and also has some pools.

Top in Natal. Perfect service, no problems with communication in English (and of course also in Portuguese :) great room service. Everything is purely fragrant and professional. Are you looking for a hotel, whether it's for holidays or business, I recommend it! Ah, I forgot the restaurant was delicious! It's worth a try!

Rooms, services, and staff are good. However, for those who stay for business purposes, the Internet connection is the worst that I have ever seen. It's not possible to work effectively.
Daniel A — Google review
About 50 positive reviews in less than a day, that should pump the ratings 🤣🤣
Goodwins — Google review
The people who work in the hotel are wonderful!!! The services are perfect. The restaurant in the hotel is great with very good french cuisine. The bad sides are: - elevators, only 2 available, you can wait minimum 15 minutes to get one… - wifi, on the 8th and 7th floor, you can forget to get a good connection. - food from the service room are stored in the stairs ( no specific stairs or even elevator for the service). - we paid way more per night for the see side but if you get rooms from the left side, without extra charge you have the same view, maybe even better. - materials are getting old: windows didn’t work properly, sink didn’t work perfectly (hard to extract the water). I am picky because this hotel is rated 5 stars and all these small things shouldn’t happen in such high standard hotel.
M. D — Google review
I loved loved loved most things about this hotel. The staff are amazing. The breakfast was amazing (especially the tapioca, as fluffy as a cloud). The rooms were welcoming, clean, beautifully decorated. I ordered room service a few times and it was quick, well priced, and delicious. Here are the things that annoyed me so much so that I can't give this hotel a five star rating: 1. the wifi kept dropping and when I complained they told me the issue was my phone (but it absolutely was not my phone nor my roommate's phone. Our wifi worked absolutely everywhere else except in this hotel). The issue resolved itself 2 days later, sorta. It just dropped less often. 2. they charge R 5.00 for pool towels which I find super petty. It's supposed to be a high end hotel, is it not? Give me a pool towel, for goodness sake! 3. the pool is super nice but really really tiny. 4. the shower and sink in the bathroom take FOREVER to drain and apparently it's on purpose. There is a sign in the bathroom saying they do this on purpose to conserve water and you should only turn the tap on halfway. What kind of nonsense is that? There was a rain shower head and I couldn't even enjoy it. It drained so slowly that I'd have to turn the water off between shampooing and conditioning or it would overflow. 5. it's a bit further from the beach than I would've preferred. We met two ladies who were robbed on the street (which is a pretty quiet street) from the hotel to the beach at 2:00 in the afternoon, broad daylight. I kinda wish the hotel offered a golf cart shuttle to the beach so you don't have to risk the walk on those quiet streets. Though I enjoyed my stay, for all of the above reasons, I'm really not sure if I'd stay here again.
Raquel R — Google review
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a room that was ocean facing and you could see the sunrise if you wake up early enough. There is also an egg and tapioca station for the breakfast, if you’re a fan of those two things then you’re in luck. In the opposite side of the road there are food stall with live music from 7pm, worth giving it a go if you want something casual

Visiting from London, England . This hotel is a bit old but the location is amazing. Had a great 7 days here with my wife and mother & father in law. Breakfast was very very good so much selection

Worst sleep I ever have had. The pillows are terribly thin and the mattresses are old. Gym equipment is pretty much out of commission. Nice pool. Great location. Good buffet and lots to do nearby. Great staff.
Andrew M — Google review
No value for the money I strongly do not recommend even in the west case cenário. Check in was but once it is done comes all the bad surprises. 1. This hotel is no way a 5 star standards 2. Roons are old 3. Shower out of other and water is law warm 4. Cleaning service has no standards 5. Ameties placed in the bathroom only for one person set up whereas we have been three people. I had to call 5 times and only at 5° time having been rude they attended my needs. 6. Buffet dinner is disgusting and food quality the worst I have ever seeing. Very slow and inefficient service but that is not a problem from waiters once there was two guys to do almost everything thing. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. 7. Breakfast disgusting as dinner, low standards, crumbled eggs was disgusting looked like vomit and had not taste at all, Juices very artificial and impossible to drink. In an all I could only eat some fruit and try to drink a coffee that for well nowned Brazil standards it was disgusting , even the cheapest bar round the corner would offer such a thing. 8. The only ones to be satisfied are the kids because they only want to play and at least there are some entertainment to them. The team look very well after the kids at least and they come back happy. 9. Personal chose people to whom they are going to speak or offer something and not for my surprise like in the co-partner Pontal Mar Hotel, they only talk to white people. That is a really disgusting behavior in my opinion, principally because I have experienced real 5 star superior hotel and have never felt welcomed in any of those places. We also do not have to leave our room to order anything or arguing about any issues. 10. On arrival not questions about our travel to the hotel or if it was easy to be found.

Situated in the heart of Ponta Negra near the beach and city's entertainment options, this beach hotel provides easy access to Cidade Jardim Shopping Mall and Vilarte Shopping do Artesanato. With 234 accommodation units, guests can enjoy amenities such as swimming pool access and Wi-Fi in public areas.
Great hotel, with many activities and live music at night. Not for people in their 20s, but perfect for families. Location is not too bad, it's a 10 minutes drive to Praia dos Artistas, that contains a market many handicraft items, cachaça and other souvenirs. Rooms have air-conditioning and are very clean. The toilets have those hoses for bidet, which is quite unusual, but definitely handy There were 2 downsides to the room we stayed, at least: mattress was not very comfortable and smart tv was not connecting to the internet properly, so we could not watch Netflix, YouTube etc
Fernando K — Google review
If you value your money and inner peace, do not come here. From the start, the experience was bad. The hotel is in survival mode and do not even turn on air conditioning in the lobby!! This is northeast Brazil in the summer (32ºC / 90ºF) and the lobby is as hot as it could be. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. The hotel as a whole is dated, very far from its prime 10 years ago. It requires serious renovation work to come back to life again; given how tightly they’re operating it, I doubt this will happen anytime soon. In the meantime, they sell a false, past image that quickly vanishes the second you enter the hotel. The service team committed a serious mistake that made me rate it the lowest. I requested relocation to a new room (another drama). The told me to wait for a day; in the interim, they assigned my room to someone else and actually provided room keys to them with our things still inside and without telling us beforehand! This is the 4-star hotel they sell. It caused a lot of headache to get a new room. Awful experience. Beach. By the same token, they sell a beach that does not exist anymore. The beach configuration (Ponta Negra beach) completely changed since the sea reclaimed most of the beach (During high tides, there’s no beach left). The preposterous “solution” by the local authorities was to start doing beach landing a few months ago. It is really sad to see the beach like this, it was a wonderful beach for bathing. Now the sea is treacherous and the sea floor is full of stones. Very sad. We had to drive 20 min north to get to a good beach. If I need to drive to go to the beach, what’s the point of getting a seaside hotel like this? If you seek quiet, beware. The quiet rooms are in the back. The more expensive rooms, with direct sea view, are at mercy of very, very loud music and entertainment coming from the pool area. awful. All in all, terrible experience. I’m not coming back and recommend all to not come to this hotel.

Plenty of activities for kids and delicious food for all. Clean and huge swimming pool. It is located exactly steps in front of the beach. This hotel has everything you need for a great vacation. I only recommend the management improve the quality of its wifi that sometimes was not working correctly, and pay more attention to replacing bathroom amenities.

Went to spend a week and a few more days at Esmeralda a couple of months ago. Having stayed in there with an all-inclusive guest service, I can assure without doubt that I ended up having a total blast. Me and my family got to relish an all manner of services, many of which included a truly wide menu offering multiple meals and dishes in breakfast, lunch and dinner, not to mention the additional food and snacks provided in a booth located alongside the pool. The food for tea time was correct enough to satisfy us. In addition to this, I cannot help but positively remark a special gift we were given on Easter. The fact that the hotel decided to present guests with Easter eggs was an unexpected surprise and a nice touch of attention. Plus, since the hotel is only a few meters away from the coast, you can appreciate the picturesque scenery and the splendid beach from the upper rooms. I was so impressed as it has been the first time I was given a room with sea view. The staff were caring and attentive whenever we approached them with inquiries or doubts, as well as the waiters and waitresses who were charismatic and made us feel like home. In short, I have no doubts Esmeralda Praia Hotel is one of the best places I have ever stayed in while being abroad. While I am aware my impression and experience is mostly biased due to an all-inclusive service, I am sure those who hire other types of services will be satisfied too, because Esmeralda seems to cover many, if not all the needs of its different guests. Besides pictures of its spectacular architecture, decoration and surroundings, I flew back bringing sweet memories from both the hotel and the city, and I would return there on every occasion if I were to travel to Natal again.

Natal Dunnas Hotel is a relaxed hotel located on the Ponta Negra beach, offering bright rooms with private balconies and cozy suites suitable for couples. The rooms are equipped with amenities such as safes, minibars, and separate bathrooms with showers. Guests can enjoy two outdoor pools, a furnished terrace, a game room, a bar, and a restaurant. The hotel also offers free breakfast and parking.
This hotel was a great value for the location, common spaces (heated pool!), and size of the rooms. They have a long list of somewhat strange and outdated rules, but it was not an issue for us.

Our family had a fantastic time at this hotel. One of the best experiences I have ever had in the hospitality industry. Everything was beautifully decorated, the breakfast was full of delicious and fresh options, the pools were great, the location was excellent. I would be giving five stars without any hesitation but there were a couple staff members that weren't very friendly. But outside of the outliers, overall the staff was very accommodating and helpful- especially at the front desk. Wonderful place, great experience, can't wait to come back! 10/10 would recommend!
Kim L — Google review
Stayed for 9 nights during the World Cup. Could not have been happier with our stay. The breakfast was great, and we had a great time hanging out by the pool with fans from different countries. Very close and walkable to the beach and to local restaurants. Felt safe the entire time, and the front desk was very helpful with calling cabs, arranging for airport transportation, and helping us order a late night pizza (we spoke minimal, broken Portuguese.) A/C worked perfectly, the TV worked, and the safe was nice for keeping passports, phones, etc. Only downside would be the small beds and the lack of a window in the room, but we knew that would be the case when we booked it, and apparently the ocean-view rooms are gorgeous. But during the World Cup, we were barely in the room. Towels often didn't get replaced, but when we asked, we were given new ones. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone -- families, couples, friends -- looking for a nice relaxing vacation in Natal.

Nestled at the base of the Morro do Careca dune, Kristie Resort in Natal offers a prime location amidst the vibrant bar, restaurant, and nightlife scene. The property boasts two outdoor pools with ocean views and a restaurant serving all-day cocktails at its swim-up bar. Guests can enjoy various tours and activities organized by the resort. The modern standard rooms feature light beiges and whites, laminate woods, ample storage space, and closets.
Very pretty hotel. The staff was always very polite, nice and heartwarming. They always helped if you asked and just had a great additude!! The rooms are clean and get cleaned during your stay if you want to. The beach is a 2 min walk from your room. The public places are also always clean, the pool is big and there are a lot of comfortable seating opportunities. If you have a room in the upper side of the hotel, you can walk through the breakfast/dining area and take the elevator to "0" and then you are at the beach. We didn't know that in the beginning so we were walking on the street part. The breakfast buffet is good. As a foreigner they could have offered more vegetables and healthy stuff in general. But for Brazil it is a very great variety. You can also eat at the restaurant in the evening. On the pictures are the "chocolate tapioca"(traditional brazilian cuisine) and paella. For the price it is definitely worth and I can really recommend it. One suggestion is that you please make the Check-In in person again. We arrived after 30h of travel, hungry and tired and then we had to do the Online Check In, which took like 40-50 min for 4 people and I am sure that for elderly people it must be very difficult. Would be good if the staff could have offered to do it for us. But that is a relatively small thing. To sum it up: Very nice staff, clean rooms and in walking distance to the beach. Good price to value ratio and can recommend!!

This isn't a 4-star Hotel at all, it's a 3-star hotel at most. The building and the rooms are a bit older. There is a big pool on the rooftop, but unfortunately, right next to it is a big construction site, which isn't really relaxing. None of the hotel staff speaks English. The breakfast area is way too small for the amount of people staying in the hotel. The food from the breakfast buffet was good, but a look in the kitchen made my appetite disappear pretty fast. Overall, I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The pictures make the hotel seem way nicer than it is.
Corsin — Google review
Affordable, Spacious, and Steps from the Beach! I’ve stayed twice at this charming beachfront hotel in Ponta Negra and was genuinely impressed by the value and comfort it offers. For the price, you get a lot more than you’d expect — making it perfect for travelers who want quality without breaking the bank. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering plenty of room to relax after a day in the sun. The breakfast buffet is a standout — far beyond your typical American continental breakfast. Think tropical fruits, fresh juices, tapiocas, savory options, local breads, and even dessert-like treats. It’s a full experience, not just a morning filler. With two inviting pools and direct beach access, it’s easy to switch between sand and swim without ever leaving the property. It’s pleasantly located close to shops, restaurants, and the iconic Morro do Careca. Another big plus: free secure parking on-site, which gave us peace of mind. This hotel seamlessly blends affordability, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing beach stay in Natal without the resort prices. Wi-Fi is spotty at times.

Wish I could give negative stars to the owner of this room at this hotel . If I was owner of hotel I make the owners of some these room have higher standards because it make them look very very unprofessional. Because of that I can't anyway recommend this hotel in anyway because of it very poor standards. Parking isn't easy either . didn't even stay because of room condition and because of mix up and unprofessional handling of my reservation do to carpediem homes saying they had everything handled months before we arrived . Great hotel in Natal within walking distance from the beach. The staff was the nicest and most helpful. I would like to thank Fernanda who always received us with a smile at breakfast. The breakfast has a lot of choices, sweet and savoury. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the patron, Sheila, is a beautiful cat that adds that special touch. The restaurant at the hotel not only has a beautiful view to the beach but it serves amazing food that I cannot recommend enough.

Awesome hotel in Natal for anyone to stay. It has a tremendous amount of charm and comfort! You almost feel like your living in you own Ringling style mansion. Beautiful location right on the ocean, with an awesome beach for loved ones. As a North American this hotel would have costed me 5X as much! Everyone is so nice and hospitable.
AIRGENX — Google review
This is one of 4 hotels I have stayed at in the Ponta Negra location that I would recommend for North American visitors. It has a great location and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable as compared with cheaper hotels. It is worth a few extra dollars to stay here as you get what you pay for. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The reason it lost a star is because the staff has no authority to correct booking errors and charged me extra for a 2nd adult even though I had booked for 2 adults. The error was caused by booking dot com but the hotel is ultimately responsible for rates so I am holding them accountable.

I loved staying at the Manary Praia Hotel, I was well received by the staff, without exception. The room and bathroom were clean, that's the first thing I look at in hotels, I like everything clean. I liked my room with a small balcony overlooking the sea, where I could sleep every night listening to the sea waves hitting the beach, it was very relaxing. I liked to wake up early and sit on the balcony to enjoy the sea waves, before going down for breakfast. I ate shredded crab meat at the restaurant for 3 days, it was delicious, there were two types, two different prepared ways, I ordered both. I loved it, it's a shame that when I discovered the food there it was already on my last 3 days of the 7 days I stayed there. I also liked a filet, I don't remember the name, but it was delicious. I tried to find something I didn't like about the hotel to write here, but I couldn't find it. The guys at reception served me well, they were kind to me, helped me carry my purchases, paid attention when I needed some information. The waiters at the restaurant were also very attentive and polite. I had a problem with my reservation, because I travel with benefits, so I only board when there is seats available on the plane, so I couldn't board due to lack of seats, I had to send an email asking if they could postpone my already paid reservation for a week later. They were so kind, so when I arrived at the hotel a week later, I was able to get the same room I had paid for. Anyway, everything went perfectly well, I will definitely return to the hotel when I go to Natal.
Marta F — Google review
Don’t book here and definitely don’t pre-pay to stay here. For us, we pre-paid for an ocean view at a premium price and was given a room with no view / a view of a road facing the hotel across from us. The staff don’t care here and also threatened us if we asked any more to get the suite we were promised. All of their pictures they advertise are the best rooms but you will not get them, they only show the best rooms online and then give you a completely different room. Don’t book directly or through a third party website, you will be very disappointed with this hotel. The breakfast is terrible, the fruits are served very warm and they only offer a few cakes and breads. They have some hot selections but they said they were out of the items I wanted. Of the hot selections they do have the cook over cooks everything and doesn’t know how to cook eggs. I ordered over easy and got over hard covered in grease, overall the breakfast was awful. I am very disappointed with this hotel and I most definitely do not recommend it.
M S — Google review
Staff was very friendly. Their suggestions were very helpful. Food was very good and even better than the local 5-star restaurants. Views of the beach area were very nice. We always felt safe. The room was very clean and comfortable but there were a few minor issues. One, the locked door adjoining to the next room allowed us to clearly hear the couple talking. Two, the sink faucet was slightly leaking. Three, the shower would partially flood the bathroom floor.
Andrew M — Google review
Friendly Staff and Great Restaurant, But Some Letdowns We had a mostly good stay. The hotel staff were warm and friendly, and the restaurant on-site was excellent — great food and service. That said, a few things took away from the experience. The timber deck looked quite run-down and could use some maintenance. We also had two apartments, and unfortunately, both had mosquitos that made it hard to sleep. When we mentioned this to reception, the response was simply, “It is what it is,” and we were handed mosquito spray — not the kind of solution we expected. At checkout, we thought we’d misplaced one of the electronic access cards and were told we’d be charged for it. While we eventually found it, the way it was handled felt a bit rigid and unaccommodating for such a small issue. I never ever been charged by a misplaced access plastic key. Overall, it’s a decent place with potential, but some basic improvements in guest service and attention to detail would really elevate the experience.

Very pleasant stay at this hotel. They have good options at the restaurant with reasonable prices, entertainment, good free breakfast, sauna, and a nice small game room. When booking, be aware of the location of the room, the high up ones can be quite the walk up, but with amazing views. The atmosphere is great, the people are very friendly, the food is delicious, pool is nice and you can very easily get to the beach. But walking to the rooms can be a bit tiring (to get to some of the rooms you have to walk a long way up) and the location is not the best. You can get to the beach very easily, but to get to restaurants and local commerce, you have to walk through a very strange alley. Recommended if you have no issues walking hills and don't mind getting an Uber every time you leave the hotel

Excellent location, near a good spot on the beach. Rooms, specially bathrooms, need to be reformed. Their conditions are OK, but for the price charged, they needed to be updated. Service is very friendly and relaxed. Breakfast is 9/10. Again, it could be better for the fares. Room size is standard. Bed is too soft, in my opinion, but it's a matter of preference. We enjoyed a lazy morning with the day-use option. Some friends were passing by and so they had just a short time in the city – the manager gifted us a very special condition to know the premisses and both service and infrastructure were wonderful. Will likely come again in the future, 10/10.

The hotel is very well located and the staff is absolutely incredible. Very accommodating to any customer needs they solved the Aircon problem we had brilliantly and efficiently. Albeit having wide doors and lifts, I don't think it can cater well for wheelchair users as the access to the beach is not wheelchair friendly. The restaurant staff is really amazing and Fabiana at the tapioca bar simply a delight to talk to while watching her masterfully making the tapioca. I definitely recommend the place.

The hotel's structure is amazing, all the staff do everything to please you, but the only problem is the breakfast. An ultraclean and secure hotel, perfect location a few minutes away of the beach (steep), good breakfast (fruit, pastries, ham egg, local juices etc). Appartment sized rooms. Small pool. Only negative: in the evening occasionally overload of the wifi.

Impressive rooms! I recommend travelling during the off season. We were there over Christmas and we realized that during certain days they hike the prices 2-5X more! For one night we paid close to $800 dollars were the other nights were under $200!

Hotel
Nestled in the exclusive area of Ponta Negra Beach, Vogal Luxury Beach Hotel & Spa offers a luxurious and tranquil beachfront experience. The tastefully decorated rooms provide stunning ocean views, private balconies, and indulgent amenities like a two-person whirlpool tub. This 5-star resort boasts top-notch service, including five outdoor pools (one for kids), a spa by LOccitane, French restaurants, beach service, and a fitness center.
Excellent service from the Hotel staff, some of them even speak English. The pool area is very cozy and great to relax in. Apart from that, there is a small beach area with some deck chairs and umbrellas. From the hotel rooms, you have a magnificent view over the ocean. The food tasted good, and the buffet was quite big, but I could imagine that if you stay there a bit longer, the food gets quite repetitive. I also used the Hotel Gym and Sauna, which were both good but nothing special. Apart from that, they also have a spa area, which you have to pay extra (I didn't go there). The Hotel is located in a rather safe area and is not too far away from Ponte Negra. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Vogal Luxury Beach Hotel. The Hotel is a bit expensive tho, even for Brazilian standards.

Overall the hotel, location and rooms are fine. However we have experienced a quite negative issue when we were overcharged by the restaurant and even worse how this situation was handled by the reception staff and manager on duty. When we pointed this out to the management, they outright refused to correct the mistake and claimed they were “unable” to adjust bills. For a 5 star hotel this is unacceptable approach and also considering we paid thousands of euros during our 2 week stay in 3 rooms.
Zafer Y — Google review
If this were a 4-star hotel, it might be acceptable, but for a 5-star property the standards fall far short. The service is average and lacks attention to detail, while both dinner and breakfast were disappointing. They were not even able to prepare a proper cappuccino, serving instead an instant Nescafé.
Luciano T — Google review
Disappointed, from the moment you get inside the room, the smell of moisture, to the outdated amenities, the spa (tiny and accessible only with extra charge) but the worst is the dinner buffet. Sad and boring food, chaotic & confused service. A very sad experience for a romantic weekend, we wish we had booked a dinner outside. The breakfast and the jacuzzi in the bathroom are the 2 positive points. Most rooms on the 1st and second floor aren’t with a sea view.
Goodwins — Google review
This was our first time staying at this hotel and I was impressed. We came to Natal to celebrate my birthday and the hotel we usually stay at was fully booked, so I searched and came across Vogal. The hotel opened in 2019, but had to shut down during the beginning of the pandemic panic. The hotel is reasonably priced, considering the quality (about $200 per night). Breakfast and dinner are included. Staff are very professional and helpful. At check-in, you are greeted with a welcome glass of champagne (the good stuff). It is located right on the beach. Our room (708) was large, with a queen-sized bed and a single. It also had an ample veranda. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the sheets. The minibar in the room was stocked with a small bottle of Veuve Cliquot and there was eve a half-bottle of Jack Daniels in the room. Breakfast was nice, and while I didn’t eat dinner here, I did stop in to see what they were offering and there were many choices, including shrimp, beef, chicken and many more options. The hotel's restaurants (there are two) have a large wine list, although the prices are a bit high. There are several swimming pools of varying sizes, so they don’t ever seem crowded. The hotel has large opulent open spaces throughout—it really is a beautiful hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will hopefully be coming back again soon. My only negative comments would be that my wife forgot a dress in our room so we contacted the hotel, but they said they did not find it. The other thing to point out is the wines offered in the restaurants are a bit pricey.

I am not sure it is de to de covid 19 but the hotel service is not a luxury at all. The facilites are available partially, the jacuzzi at the spa and the pool not working, in the beach no one is servicing you, it is easier to go to the next hotel to get a drink. The dinner that is included with what you pay, after three days had not changed …the menu is basically the same .. we arrived on a Saturday and by Tuesday really not many options & makes it hard to keep eating there. A couple of nights excellent service but today terrible. Impossible to find a salad…that is incredible. Terrible chef. I ordered a chicken soup & i was told it would take about 50 minutes… since they have to do it from scratch …One day after arriving from a tour we were in the front desk asking for something & they had water in a bowl full of ice; we asked if we could take one and they denied it..how funny because was only for check in guests…. When the hotel is almost empty!!!!! How can a 5/6 stars hotel… denied a bottle of water after what is charged per night???? Anyhow Is not worth the money you pay for what you get.

I traveled to the North East of Brazil for my honeymoon and Vogal Luxury Suites was one of my favorite hotels. The pool is amazing and absolutely gorgeous. The ocean view from my room was breathtaking and I loved the privacy. Cafe de Manha (Breakfast) was super delicious. I really appreciate the staff in helping me with my travel needs (excursions, airline support, laundry, etc.) even with my limited level of portuguese. I will definitely be returning and I suggest this hotel to anyone from the US who may want to venture outside of Rio or Sao Paulo.

This was a wonderful place to stay. All the amenities and food were amazing. Clean facilities and everybody working is willing to help. The only issue we had on our stay was the WiFi in the bedroom. It was spotty and can be frustrating if you don’t have local cellular.

A Dream Getaway at Ocean Palace Resort! I can't say enough amazing things about our stay at Ocean Palace Resort in Natal! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the ocean. The location is simply unbeatable—right on the stunning Via Costeira with direct access to the beach and minutes from Ponta Negra. The resort itself is gorgeous, with beautifully maintained pools, lush tropical landscaping, and plenty of space to relax. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had an incredible view of the ocean—waking up to that sunrise every morning was pure magic. What really stood out was the service. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The food was also exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes served fresh every day. One of the highlights of our trip was getting our photos taken with Viva Photos—they were incredible! The team was professional, creative, and made the whole experience fun and memorable. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and are now some of our favorite keepsakes from the trip. Whether you're looking to unwind by the pool, indulge in the spa, or explore the vibrant culture of Natal, Ocean Palace is the perfect base. This place exceeded all expectations—we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable escape in Brazil!

The resort tries to offer the best all inclusive services and they charge a lot for it. The best quality and sorted food, many kind of beverages, vines and beers are examples what the resort can offer. The serving staff are also very attentive. But the facilities are old and they seem improvised, the exception are the rooms, comfortable and retrofitted. The hotel has a good view of the sea and the beach is in front of the resort, but downstairs from it and the shadow appears the middle of afternoon. If you don't mind with those issues, this hotel is a good option for all family.

Rooms need some renovation but the food and drinks are out of this world, recreation and amenities are awesome and location is perfect. The staff is very friendly. A special thank you note to Mr. Manaceas and Mr. Olegário, super gentle and treated us like family. The themed restaurants (French, Asian, Italian) is definetly a plus!

A great hotel and well organized. Their all inclusive deal for Carnival is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our entire family had a great time. They have a specialized kitchen area for kids that has lots of natural fruit juices and hamburgers and all the things kids like. Their bar is well stocked and the restaurants (French & Japanese) are good. The staff was incredible and the place was always clean.
John N — Google review
The hotel is placed in a very special place! Great view, nice swimming pools, big room (very well cleaned every day). However, the place is getting old and needs continuous maintenance and a refurbishment which is not happening. The air-conditioning was not functioning properly, the towel holder felt from the wall, found a cockroach in the room. Breakfast was OK but far from good. Same options every single day. Staff seemed not well trained, and neither happy to serve the guests.

What a pleasure staying here. The place was very well located we got a room with the best view and the breakfast was amazing. But as always the best part was the people. Available, professional and abundant on smiles. Special thanks to Isadora from the front desk. What a charisma and attentive to our needs!!

+ the food (quality and options), the service - the rooms were not totally clean, and we found a cockroach in one of the beds; also, the bathrooms had a bad smell coming from the tub or sink; the main restaurant was too loud and not enough room for the amount of people; there wasn't a good common area which wasn't right beside the pool

The variety of foods for breakfast is amazing! I strongly recommend this hotel for short stays (two to four days).

Good breakfast, but extremely high prices for any item you'd like to have during the day. Prices are per kg, and can go up to R$99/kg during lunch time. Staff in the reception sometimes are slow, so you have to take queues for taking a simple towel. Also, they charge for the safe boxes in the bedroom! Overall infrastructure is good, great view and nice pools.

A solid experience, I was pleased to be there. The hosts were great and the performers were terrific! The food was also great. I hope to be back soon. I'm really glad for it. Definitely worth it. Oh, and the beach under the moonlight is just divine!

I don’t recommend it . The entire place is very dirty. The bathroom on our room was not clean when we check in. It seems they don’t have enough staff to take care of the place. The food is ok but not great, they don’t name the food so makes it hard to know what you are getting. Because of Covid they are wrapping everything in individual plastic bags, which is not great there is plastic bags all over the place, in the pool, at the beach. Very sad to see all the garbage they are putting into the ocean.
Anni J — Google review
Very nice place to stay, beautiful clean beach and no people so no need to worry about the stuffs left on the beach if u go swimming. One small thing: the Internet was unstable, disconnecting every 30 minutes or so, slow and sometimes just hangs. At the reception not anybody speaks English (two guys only) and takes a lot of time to do something (like get the tickets for the lunch or just give your leggages for keeping. Viev on the ocean is just wonderful.

1 star as a hotel to stay. I have to say the employers attention is very good. In My experience, I feel that I’ve overpayed a place comparing the cheapest rooms from other hotels in the same city. Facilities are just ok. Food is just ok. I’ve payed for he cheapest room an average of 50 euros, and the room is not very nice for the price payed.(see Picts) The place is also about a 8-10 min ride to downtown, so you have to add those expenses if you need to eat or go places. (Also comparing to other hotels near downtown). To eat here is not that cheap. I wouldn’t recommend it. Beach access is fine, swimming pools also, but nothing you won’t find in other places.

Great hotel, went for day use. It does have a great view, nice pools, good animators and good beach access. It is a bit pricy tho, even with reverting the fee into consumption, specially drinks.

This hotel is one of the coolest if ever stayed in. Right by the beach, with two swimming pools and a hidden sauna/jacuzzi. Confortable beds and a great breakfast. They do sometimes hold weddings or other events so just ask by the reception when you're checking in not to stay near the event area.

Dirty hotel!!!! We had a sticky spot on the floor that took three days of complaints to get them to clean. Of the four pools, two were filthy beyond belief. The pool by the beach had so much string algae in it that you could not see the bottom. The second floor pool had scum on the sides so thick that guests were playing tick tack toe on it. The two roof pools were dark colored so you could not tell if they were clean or dirty. Air Conditioning required attaching two bare wires together. We even found bedbugs (dead thankfully) behind the bed when checking out. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. They done't even realize how bad they are. Stay away however you can!!!

Pretty decent hotel. Pools are a bit small and there is not much space to sunbathe. Rooms are clean but could be a bit bigger. Nice breakfast. The place is deserted pretty early in the evening already.

Great place to stay if you go to Natal. The location is perfect. You are in the center of Ponta Negra. The breakfast is very good and they have a swimming pool that is esencial to go after the beach, so you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon. The staff is very nice and they understand spanish.

It’s a nice hotel but some things could be better. Firstly the hotel lost my reservation so i had to wait 30-40 min to get my room. The pool rarely gets sunlight because the tall building blocks the sun. I think the hotel charges to have guests visit the room, which is odd. the view is nice but a superior room just gives you a better view not necessarily a bigger, nicer room. You can also hear the wind very clearly through the windows. And I paid for my lunch by card but the waiter didn’t take record of it so I had to show my bank statement to prove it. Ya, not the best.
Ben H — Google review
I stayed there for 2 nights while attending an event. Accommodations are fine, new and enough space. Reception desk and restaurant service are very nice and helpful. Cleaning service is ok. However food isn't quite as nice as expected. Opportunity for improvement. Rooms view is spectacular! Anyway, it is very close to a nice beach, restaurants and art craft stores.

Reasonable hotel, friendly helpful staff. A bit disorganized in places. Only 2 lifts for big hotel is not so good when busy, lacking a few things I would expect from a 4star hotel. No extra pillows, hairdryer, iron although available when you ask. Sometimes an issue with the water not working. Swimming pool out of action due to falling tiles from the building, closed for 8 months now. Satisfactory breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Would give 3 stars if not for the staff.

Porto Suites Natal Hotel is a laid-back accommodation offering sea views and complimentary breakfast. Situated on the beautiful Praia dos Artistas in Natal, it provides easy access to restaurants, bars, and nightclubs as well as tourist and convention centers. The hotel features a rooftop pool with stunning beach views, welcoming rooms with balconies, and a restaurant serving local cuisine. Additionally, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and rustic bar/restaurant.
The hotel is located right across the road from the beach, 20 seconds walk at the most. The room was quite large and was cleaned every day. The staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was served at 7am each day, but if you were going to visit a tourist attraction early in the morning you could found them putting out food 6.40am. There were plenty of options to eat at breakfast time, it was better to arrive a little early to avoid the breakfast rush. There are a couple of observation decks, great for sitting out on at night and enjoying the cooling sea breeze. The hotel is located near artisanal fair, good to look for souvenirs, everyone was really friendly there. Overall the hotel was good and we had no problems at all.
John P — Google review
The room was pretty nice for the fare, but no view. Unless you like looking at the sides of other buildings. Breakfast was decent, but very uninspiring. Not many options, but they did have scrambled eggs, bread and coldcuts, besides butter and jelly. The coffee was only drinkable with a lot of milk. The biggest inconvenience was that they were going thru a renovation (Dec 2024), so not all the facilities they advertise were available. the staff are friendly and quite helpful. It's also a good option for having lunch, as there are very few good Restaurants within walking distance. On the other hand, it is well located, right across from the beach (Praia do Meio). And the beach was great, with natural pools formed at low tide. Great, if you have kids. Or not :) Just avoid high tide, because the beach practically disappears.
John B — Google review
Rooms were clean, spacious if paying the extra for the larger rooms with balcony. Showers were powerful. Only issues were that internet was very slow in the rooms and that during meal times there is a fly issue in the restaurant. The service team are very lovely and friendly too, overall a good stay for the money paid and location is great to see other beaches and attractions.
Dell H — Google review
To me, this 3 star hotel should have at least one more star removed. WiFi at this hotel is a joke, actually it's a shame really. The only spot where there is good connection is in the lobby and occasionally the connection is unstable and unusable. My room is not too far and it barely picks it up during the evening. I was on the third floor. What's funny is that the outside patio by the restaurant, which is about 60 ft or about 18 meters, is a WiFi dead zone. The "restaurant" which is about the same distance, has poor connection. There was one spot in my room where you could connect to the WiFi, which was the corner closest to the door. You literally had to stand facing the corner and only then could you get a poor connection, which wasn't even good enough to read emails but good enough to receive and send out messages. As I write this on Google docs, I have full connection to the router but an unstable connection so no WiFi again. The room was comfortably furnished: the beds were comfortable and the air conditioner was pleasant. The TV was fine. There is a small fridge, however, the seal for the door was damaged and we couldn't close the door completely, leaving a small gap for warm air to go in. We tried to find the safe (before anyone mentions, we know it's still not a safe place to leave valuables) but found out that the front desk has safes for our rooms. The window facing the ocean had a noticeable leak at the top whenever we had rain and would splash onto the floor. The bathroom was in a decent condition. The toilet, sink, and floor were clean. The shower had black mold in between the wall tiles. The drain seemed to have been partially clogged as the shower would slowly build up with water and spill over the little barrier and go all over the bathroom floor. We would have to put towels there to prevent a flood. The shower head was okay for me as the water at least came out. What also missing was some amenities, like a hair dryer, small shampoo bottle or a shower cap for women, as I am told it is important. The ventilation fan did not work and after taking a warm shower, it would get very hot and humid in the bathroom. Comments from some other guests is that their TVs either don't work or are fuzzy, one woman's shower didn’t have any warm water, and no WiFi in their rooms. Now what bothers me with the hotel and with the travel company is the time the hotel serves breakfast and what time the bus comes around to pick up people to do daily excursions. The hotel serves breakfast by 7:00 am and the bus usually comes around 07:10, sometimes it comes by 06:25. However, sometimes you can start eating by 06:30 if the food is being put out but its not a guarantee. The selection of items is decent, but in my experience, one of the least impressive breakfasts I had in Brazil. We had the unfortunate experience of eating dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. To call it a restaurant is already giving it too much credit. We ordered fish and I got a chicken burger and a side of fries. When we got the food, my fries were in a small plate wrapped in plastic wrap. I thought that was a little strange, so I tried one. Yup like I thought, they were soggy and barely warm. To me, they just put some cold, pre-cooked fries on the plate and microwaved them. The chicken breast was relatively hard, kind of like improperly reheating cooked meat. The bacon on it was bone stiff and hard to take a bite without the whole toppings falling out. The fish was just as bad, if not worse. It came on a small plate with nothing else. The fish was rubbery, cold, and in the centre leaked water; signs that they just microwaved and served it. It should not be called a restaurant and now I'm not wondering why it's usually empty during the evening as the food is just deplorable. Another thing is that there seems to be a fly problem in the lobby and restaurant. Whenever we sit down on the chairs or couches, flies would pester us. During breakfast, flies would be flying around the food at the serving tables.

The hotel offers simple yet comfortable rooms and suites, with prices starting at $41 before taxes. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, pool bar, restaurant, and bar on-site. The location is ideal for beach lovers and those who enjoy shopping and dining out.
The location is perfect, you're in close proximity to the beach, there's plenty of shopping options nearby, as well as restaurants, there were also two food card areas with a lot of great options and very tasty food, he rooms were great, the only complaint would be the televisions were maybe a bit small, but we used it only once. our room had a fridge which was great, there are no hairdryers in the room, but you can borrow on from the reception desk. the included breakfast was also great. friendly and helpful staff.

I strongly do not recommend even in the west case cenário. Check in was but once it is done comes all the bad surprises. This hotel is no way a 5 star standards Roons are old Shower out of other and water is law warm Cleaning service has no standards Ameties placed in the bathroom only for one person set up whereas we have been three people. I had to call 5 times and only at 5° time having been rude they attended my needs. Buffet dinner is disgusting and food quality the worst I have ever seeing. Very slow and inefficient service but that is not a problem from waiters once there was two guys to do almost everything thing. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. The only ones to be satisfied are the kids because they only want to play and at least there are some entertainment to them. The team look very well after the kids at least and they come back happy. On arrival not questions about our travel to the hotel or if it was easy to be found. No welcome drink that is for a 5 star normal and by check out I wanted to close the bill earlier and join the pool until 12 but a very unfriendly receptionist told that it was not possible because housekeeping would enter the room, I replied back saying that it would be simple just call the superviser and let them to be informed, but as usual the staff in this hotel, some of them, seems not to have brain cells. In a resume.: STAY WAY FROM FIR THE SAME PRICE OR EVEN LESS U GET SOMETHING 10.000 TIMES BETTER. Guaranteed not to be racist discriminated .

Yak Beach Hotel Ponta Negra is a casual accommodation with 2 bars, 2 outdoor pools, and a sauna. It's highly recommended for couples due to its incredible value and prime location in Natal. Guests praise the clean rooms with city and ocean views, as well as the friendly service from staff like Fernando at the front desk who speaks excellent English. While it may not be extraordinary, it offers great value for money, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring elsewhere.
This hotel provides incredible value, one of the best locations in Natal. Rooms were very clean with great views of the city and ocean. Most important, was Fernando at the front desk. Hotel Senac Barreira Roxa is a modern 4-star hotel located in Natal, offering comfortable and spacious apartments with amenities like air conditioning and minibars. Situated near Ponta Negra beach, the hotel boasts an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy ocean views from the property and indulge in delicious meals at the on-site restaurant. The hotel's convenient location provides easy access to nearby attractions, making it a great choice for travelers seeking comfort and relaxation during their stay in Natal.
I stayed at Senac Barreira Roxa with my family in December 2023 and I can say it was a wonderful stay. Starting from the payment and customer service provided through email, to the check-in process at the reception, and checking out was a breeze! Breakfast staff was always very polite and cleaning staff greeted me by name after the very first day. I used laundry services and even though those are a third-party it was also decent although a bit pricey. The value for my stay was great. Breakfast offered so many varieties of Brazilian food that are typical from the Northeast part of Brazil. The gaming lounge is very cozy and with easy access to the pool. Although there is not direct access to the beach, 'Praia dos Artistas' is only a short 10 minute walk away. I highly recommend Senac Barreira Roxa to anyone that wants to have a great time, be it with family, or as a couple.

(Translated by Google) I stayed at Barreira Roxa with my wife from September 26th to 28th to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was simply wonderful. The hotel has impeccable facilities, comfortable rooms, exemplary service, and stunning sea views—it's the kind of place that exudes peace and sophistication at the same time. The reservation was made through Reserving, a European website I wasn't familiar with and initially apprehensive about. But after researching and confirming with the hotel itself, I realized it's a reliable platform. Everything went perfectly smoothly, without any unexpected issues. But the highlight is the "breakfast." I confess that, when I saw this term on the website, I found it curious, since here in Brazil we say "café da manhã" (breakfast). But when I tried it, I understood the name perfectly. It's a true feast! 🥐☕️🍾 Incredible variety, impeccable presentation, everything delicious—and they even serve complimentary Prosecco. A unique charm that makes all the difference and demonstrates the hotel's level of care for its guests. These were days of tranquility, romance, and fond memories. I left with the certainty that Barreira Roxa is among the best hotels in Natal—and I recommend it without hesitation, both for those coming to explore the city and for those, like me, who already live here and want a unique experience without having to travel far. 🌅✨

(Translated by Google) The hotel is wonderful, super cozy and quiet. For those looking for a comfortable and peaceful place, this is it. Although we had a bad experience during one of the nights because the hotel hosted some kind of school trip, full of rude teenagers who thought the hotel was just for them, the peace and quiet was ruined by them, with shouting and racket in the common areas and rooms. Another negative point is the tiny shower stall, which opens into the shower. If you're a larger person, you won't be able to take a shower. They should reconsider this, as the bathroom is large and should have enough space to shower comfortably. Otherwise, the hotel and restaurant are very good.

We loved the staff. They were cordial and super helpful. The place is clean, and well maintained. The view from our room was beautiful! ( Apartment 402 4th floor. It was wonderful woke up every morning with that view from our room! It reminded me my childhood beach feeling with mountain (Morro do Careca) , peaceful neighborhood, coconut, mango, cashew, orange, papaia, jambo, lime trees and birds calling Bem te Vi!. There are no TV on the rooms, only living room, but we didn't miss the bad news anyways. The WiFi is kind of slow but was possible for my child to play some games at night. One downside is the hill to go to the beach. It will be helpful if there was golf cart bringing us up and down. It is hard for people with some desability and elderly to go up hill. The road are cobblestone. The beach is really nice, calm, warm and well served with local vendors selling all kinds of food and beach goodies. There are no laundry in the building but there are a laundry mat close by and also well served grocery store and drug store.

(Translated by Google) I stayed at the hotel from August 15th to August 17th... I like to start with the negatives: there are few! There's no breakfast; I found the location a bit awkward for walking at night; the children's pools weren't very clean; and the rooms don't have very good acoustics, which ended up being "unlucky." Despite having several loud music warnings, the guest in room 204 stayed listening to Kid Abel (good taste) until midnight. Worse still, the next day, the guests in room 201 (three men) blasted a ceiling at 5:30 in the morning! Not to mention the cigarette smoke smell that wafted from the same room... I don't know if it was the hotel's fault, but it really ruined our stay. Positives: price, top-notch cleanliness, and it's actually an apartment! (With a fully equipped kitchen and everything. Very nice!) The oceanfront apartment has an incredible view, as does the rooftop! The staff are very welcoming and respond quickly to WhatsApp messages! I would go back without a problem! (Original) Estive no hotel do dia 15/08 a 17/08...

(Translated by Google) The only thing that really stands out about this hotel is its excellent location. It's very close to the Ponta Negra Steps, making it easy to access the area. However, unfortunately, the lodging experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, the first room we were offered had a serious problem with the air conditioning. When turned on, it released a strong musty smell, which immediately worsened my rhinitis. To make matters worse, when we checked the bed, we found feces, which we couldn't tell if they were bat or rat. This situation was truly unacceptable, and we had to complain to reception. As a result, we were moved to another room, which was in slightly better condition, but the air conditioning, despite being newer, worked very poorly. Another aspect that really left something to be desired was the breakfast. We stayed at the hotel for seven days, and the menu remained exactly the same throughout. The options were limited, and the bread and other foods were not fresh. For a hotel that aims to offer a minimally comfortable experience, this is a major drawback. Furthermore, we had a major problem accessing the hotel in the early hours of Friday morning. We arrived around 1:00 a.m. and the doors were locked. We tried calling reception, rang the doorbell, and called, but no one answered. We went back and forth without success, until, for safety reasons and for necessity, we ended up climbing over the fence to get in. The employee explained that she was in the bathroom, but honestly, the situation is quite worrying, as anyone could have accessed the hotel during that time. Overall, despite the excellent location, our stay at the hotel was quite uncomfortable and full of flaws. The lack of maintenance, poor service, and unsanitary room conditions really detract from the experience. If you're looking for a more comfortable accommodation option with minimal attention to detail, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

(Translated by Google) We stayed at the hotel for seven days and overall we really enjoyed it. It was a great value. The room was very spacious, with a king-size bed, if I'm not mistaken, and air conditioning was great! We loved the large balcony with views of the pool and ocean. Breakfast is a bit simpler, with fewer options, but it wasn't a problem for us, as what was available was sufficient. (Translated by Google) I paid for two nights, which was a special offer they posted on Instagram, saying there would be romantic decor with towels, petals, and chocolates. There was none of that when I got there. I stayed in room 305. The hotel has an excellent location, however, unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. "Positives": Nice pool area. Polite and attentive staff. Large room with a full-length mirror. Large bathroom with a large mirror. Large sink. Power outlet in the bathroom. Cool minibar. Cool air conditioning. Good TV. Good Wi-Fi connection throughout. Plenty of storage space. Consequentials: The room lighting was all yellow. There were few power outlets in the room, and the one next to the bed was so weak that it didn't even charge my cell phone. The bathroom smelled bad and there was no hot water. The water was very weak; it took about two hours to wash my hair. The poolside had broken rocks. Breakfast was very simple, cold, and always the same, with moldy sliced bread, dry cake, and watermelon that looked like it had been cut five days ago. You had to get there early, as it took a while to replenish. In short: not worth the price. Não teve nada disso quando cheguei lá. Fiquei no quarto 305. Tomada no banheiro. Frigobar gelando bem. Ar condicionado gelando bem. TV boa. Conexão do wifi boa em todas as áreas. Muitos espaços pra guardar as coisas. Negativos: Iluminação do quarto toda amarela.

(Translated by Google) We chose the hotel based on its Booking.com rating, but the experience fell far short of expectations. The structure is very old, and the room had several issues: a bathroom without a shower stall (just a plastic curtain), worn and dingy towels, hot water that ran out mid-shower, a cracked balcony door with a defective latch, a minibar overflowing with ice, a broken trash can, and cleaning only every other day. The air conditioning was very noisy, disrupting our rest. The internet didn't work in the rooms, making it impossible to watch the TV. The hotel also doesn't provide basic utensils—I had to buy disposable cutlery and plates at the hotel. To make matters worse, on the last day, water appeared on the floor of the room from the neighboring room (these were the rooms with a connecting door), and instead of fixing it, the front desk simply offered me a cloth to clean it. The 7.9 rating from booking sites is unrealistic; my rating would be, at best, a 4/10. I don't recommend it, as there are better options in the same area and price range.

(Translated by Google) I really liked it; the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, as did the TV and minibar. The only thing that left something to be desired was the pillows, too low and not fluffy. The bed linens and towels were also okay. The bathroom was great, with a very good shower with hot and cold water. We even had a balcony for relaxing. Breakfast was reasonable; on the days we stayed, the coffeemaker was broken and the coffee was cold, but the staff were attentive. Overall, it was a good experience; I would stay here again and recommend it.

(Translated by Google) The hotel is well located, with a great restaurant across the street, a pharmacy and a community store nearby, and right across from the Ponta Negra staircase that leads directly to the beach. The pool area is great, and the staff was excellent. The hotel's Wi-Fi is non-existent in the rooms; you have to go to the pool area to get a decent signal. The number of outlets in the room is inefficient, and the cleanliness is terrible; I found trash from other guests under the bed. The hotel needs renovation because the facilities are run-down, and the bathroom trash can is rusty. The card sensor in the room is just for show; it doesn't work at all. The lights are yellow and there are missing bulbs. There was a very large light opening in the ceiling, I believe due to the fitting of the tiles, which made the room too bright. Breakfast was very simple; only the daily juice was changed, but the other items were the same every day, but it was quite okay. The bathroom faucet was clearly leaking, leaving water accumulated in the sink. The towels are very old, they really need to be changed.

Outdoor Activities
Genipabu Beach is a must-visit destination in Natal, offering a unique experience with its sandy dunes and freshwater lagoons. Visitors can explore the area by hiring buggies to ride through the picturesque landscape. The beach provides an ideal setting for swimming and indulging in various water sports and games. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy local cuisine.
Amazing beach. Clear waters. Calm water. Hard to park in here. Be prepared to deal with an infinity of street salesman, and people chasing you to find parking and bring you to their beach club. It is difficult to avoid them. Sometimes you will need to be stern for them to leave you alone. The beach clubs are great to relax at the beach. They have a little bit of everything. Drink lots of coconut water. In the sand, there are many people people selling many things and lots of them are great options.

No visit to Natal is complete without a visit to the Dunes of Genipabu. Beach good for swimming with many nice restaurants. Highlight of a visit to Genipabu is driving with a buggy driver through the dunes of Genipabu.& a visit to its lake if not in dry season is to be recommended. Ferry to Jacumá is especially fun as your car or buggy is put onto a boat rowed across the narrow river with the route providing a coastal route to Pitangui and Muriú.

Nice beach to visit and surf. Close to the dunes, it offers a beautiful visual. It can get pretty dirty, though, cause people often drop waste on the sand... There could be more trash bins to try to encourage people to discard their waste properly (although this is no excuse).
Paula R — Google review
Fantastic incredibly beautiful seaside village about half an hour north by road from Natal's bridges across Rio Potengi from Natal, Rn. Beautiful safe to bathe beach lined with lots of beachside restaurants good for fish or meat dishes. Dunes above beach are awesome and maybe climbed by athletic & sure footed or tours led by buggy drivers available from US $60 through dunes from Genipabu village or from around US $ 100 from Natal. Tours may continue on to Pitangui & Cape Riangha eastern most point of Rio Grande do Norte state. In rainy season April to early August ;Genipabu near & after sunset is especially famous for it's mosquitos which seem to be a particular curse for fair skinned visitors. Hotel Genipabu high in hills with its own swimming pool tends to avoid the problems with mosquitos. Visitors should also try by car or buggy try the raft ferry at nearby Gracendu & see the seaside mansions of Natal's political elite. At weekends & in January & February village maybe at times crowded but midweek visits are usually quieter & much more rewarding.

El Aram Imirá Beach Resort is a relaxed beachfront hotel located in Ponta Negra, Natal, offering easy access to popular attractions like Morro do Careca and Praia da Redinha. The 4-star resort receives high ratings for its location, cleanliness, and overall experience. It features multiple pools, an airy restaurant, and free breakfast buffet. The smoke-free rooms can accommodate up to four people and some have balconies with stunning ocean views.
My experience there was amazing. That had nice accomodations and the place itself is incredible. I love it is right by the ocean. Stunning place. I will be back for sure.
Daniel J — Google review
Bad experience altogether. Warning! The room was fine and the premises are good, but I went two different times and on both I got food poisoning. Completely unacceptable. I had to stop eating the hotel’s food even though we had an all inclusive stay because I couldn’t do anything else besides staying in my room and puking my guts out. Never again I want to go back to this place. I actually had to spend more money to buy medicine and food outside of the hotel so I could eat something that wouldn’t make me pass out. STAY AWAY!
André L — Google review
Unfortunately,we didn't have a good experience. The hotel is very outdated and rooms are nothing like we expected. Walls let the sound from other guests into your room, making it very unpleasant. The staff rarely smiles and people run around the food hall was if they don't know exactly what to do. Speaking of food...(More disappointment) - Rooms are full of blemishes, there is simply zero personal touch, zero decoration, and nothing that makes one feel comfortable or welcome here. We came for a wedding and needed an iron. No iron. No hair dryer, no nothing. For an All-inclusive experience, this was the worse. The only thing generous was the outside, generously, and freely provided by Mother Nature.
Fernanda M — Google review
Almost 50 people on our trip had food poisoning here. The bathrooms are a wreck in the rooms. The pool bar closes at 10pm even if full to dump chemicals in the pool. Beware the ocean here has a crazy riptide with no lifeguard. An entire marching band decided to play in the hotel hallways at 5am with no care from the staff. They regularly try to charge you for replacement room keys and towels for the pool.
Stephan B — Google review
This a solid 1 star Hotel. There are so many things wrong with this hotel for the amount you pay. I don’t know how it got higher than 2 stars. Must be the view that’s all. Let me start with the few positives. The view from our room is very nice. You can see the green water along with the palm trees that make for really nice photos from the comfort of your room. They also had a decent breakfast buffet every morning which was nice. Access to the beach was great as it’s private and the swimming pool is a decent size as well. Now as for the negatives. As soon as we checked in, we were told that there was no WiFi in the room. You have to go the lobby to get Internet. Secondly, the room itself was very old and falling apart. All of the mirrors had black spots on them and the sliding balcony door lock was broken and fell out so the balcony door wouldn’t completely shut. Third, the hot water shower knob fell off and wouldn’t stay into place. And finally the toilet bowl was leaking as well. We did mention the balcony door to the hotel staff but it was not fixed. If you’re going to charge people a lot of money for a hotel at least fix the rooms. Overall I would not stay here again if I came back to Natal. I’d choose a different hotel even if it is a little further away from the beach.
A Q — Google review
For the price it’s not a bad hotel—not perfect, but a great location. The hotel has 166 rooms, is right on the beach and has several pools, a tennis court and they serve microbrew beer at the pool (so far so good!). A good many of the rooms have a view of the beach and the ocean (if you ask, the front desk will do their best to accommodate you if your booking did not include this). The space could be better used. While they have some lovely antiques scattered about and the restaurant where breakfast is served has a wonderful view overlooking the beach, there are several bars and lounge areas that appear to have used to have servers that are just used for seating. The hotel in general needs a bit of TLC (there are some problems of mold, but nothing outrageous) and there is no room service after 10 PM. We were here for Christmas vacation and the hotel was packed, but there was still adequate parking on site. Some earlier commenters noted that the hotel is a bit far from town, but it only cost about R$25 by taxi to get there, so if that’s a deal breaker, then this isn’t the place for you. Otherwise the staff were, generally, very pleasant and mostly all were helpful.
Edward D — Google review
Terrible experience, old installations, untidy rooms, and above all, horrible attendance, the employees had absolutely no will to serve well, room service, restaurant and bars, all closed at 10pm. All the services and products are overpriced. Will not be coming back.

The hotel is by the ocean and has a great ocean view and a good pool. There is an outdoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre on site, as well as a restaurant and 24-hour room service.
It was a nice stay. They actually had really nice toiletries. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast also had the good and usual sample of tropical fruits, juices, cakes and breads.

Quality Suites Natal is a good accommodation option in Ponta Negra area. It is in a block where another building houses a cafe, a bar, and a self-service laundry. It is close to the beach where shops, cafes, and restaurants can be found. It is around a 15-minute walk from the Feirinha where more shops and restaurants are. The property has a small pool, sauna, and gym. The receptionist speaks English. The unit itself has a nice panoramic view of the beach. The beddings are comfortable. There are enough surfaces and counter spaces to place things on. Wifi connection is relatively fast.

About room service , I stay one month in a room having my house keys then I changed room for a month then the safe was having problems, so obviously I kept my keys only hand bag , after some days it’s disappeared. The room maid was bad , never clean well I stayed in the dirty for 45 Days her name was Paula and then. When I asked please do it good she’s said it’s was. It includes, but on Sundays other girls covering her was doing very good ! So when I asked to changed was so good ! The room maid was good , thanks to Anita and Maria ! And my keys was expansive type of !! Control remote garage keys ! About the supporting of staff at the reception was good ! They helped when. Next room making noise , when we call they helped to stop it . Thanks all .

The bedroom is good. The location is very nice, close to the Ponta Negra Beach. But the service is way sub-par. It did not had soap and shampoo, so I ask on the front desk. But I rhater eat elsewhere if. I wasn't so tired.

When we were checking in, the front desk clerk changed the price multiple times. I over payed for a room with no paper in the bathroom and an air conditioner that is leaking all over the sofa and floor. The condition of the room is so terrible that there is mold growing from the water dripping from the air conditioner. The customer service and response to our needs has been unacceptable. I am willing to pay more money at another hotel just to leave this awful place.

Nice room, everything seems to be new. There is a tv, also a kitchen if you want to cook anything. The freezer has water, sodas and beers. Very good breakfast, but it could start earlier than 6:30 am. The hotel has a restaurant and room service. The location is ok, you can go walking until Ponta Negra beach but there aren't many others restaurants nearby, you will need a uber or taxi.

Hotel Ponta Negra Beach Natal is a laid-back hotel located in the heart of Natal. It offers comfortable rooms and suites, along with amenities such as a restaurant, poolside bar, and two pools. The hotel provides Wi-Fi in public areas and free private parking. Families with children can benefit from services like cots, high chairs, and paid babysitting. The property is conveniently situated within walking distance of the Natal Convention Center.
Very well located, close to all nice spots in Ponta Negra, new and with a good structure. Humidity in the apartments is a little bit big, as well as there is AC noise all over. But these problems are bearable.

This multi-level property is near the beach. Many apartments here are on third party booking sites like Vrbo, etc. The apartment complex' wifi is very poor. Be careful when dealing with host Sylvia (+55 61 98323 6101). She will advertise a beautiful unit that's close to the swimming pool/gym/access to the beach; but will eventually give a totally different room.

Dirty, weak wifi, one thin sheet on the bed. If you want a place to sleep and nothing more, this is your place. Have low low expectations. Talked to the front desk more than 2 times about the wifi with no help. They should pay me for my wasted data. Advertises hot water but it doesn’t get warmer than room temperature.

The staff was nice. There were typos in the signs which clearly shows none of them speaks English but the hotel isn't bad per se. Except for the fact that our towels and blankets smelt really bad (we still don't know why) and they never replaced it when they came to clean. It's close to the beach so that's good, at least.

Very nice Hotel. Location can not be better and rooms are big enough to not feel tight. Bathrooms are not 100 % spotless and perfect but the view and feeling of the place recovers any missing star from the smell of the bathrooms. Breakfast has a big variarity and the coffee is really good. Fruits are very fresh and sweet. They are always trying to please customers and keep the place organized and clean. Very good place, very good people. Room is very nice, large, clean, new. Location couldn't be better, with exit straight to the beach. I recommend and will be back.

Great place to stay if you are tired of staying in small hotel rooms... At least you have a living room and small kitchen. Super close to the beach but there's not much else around the hotel. TV in the room was not working properly. Wi-Fi is awful. Restaurant employees are extremely nice and friendly 🤗
Marcelo G — Google review
It's in an amazing location, with direct access to the beach. It's seen much better days, it needs a major overhaul. It feels like the beds and style have not been updated in 30 years. It's comparable to maybe a best western at best.

The hotel provides a humble experience, nothing too much fancy but you will have everything you need. In the room that I got my Overnight I had some problems with the shower and air-conditioning, this may prejudice some more exigents hosts. Overall, it's a good place to stay in Natal, although you may face some issues while in

The hotel is good but the rooms aren't very confortables. The hotel is good because is near the beach. The service is very good. The location isn't very good because the streets are very steep.

(Translated by Google) Good place but worth highlighting some points Very old furniture Problem with pigeons in the air conditioning The receptionist could have been a little more friendly, being served by her was uncomfortable as it seemed like she wasn't very happy with being there. It interferes with the entrance because there were times when we needed to wait for the girls to open the gate because not being at the reception made it late to see if the customer had arrived, unlike the night shift who was always there. Reception during the day seems to be abandoned, taking away some of the security of the place as the guest himself would have to open the gate and keep the key. The two night shift guys were hoarse, they served us very well, they deserve recognition, they were great professionals and very helpful and friendly The cleaning done in the rooms was 10 although the covers and bedspreads should be more standardized but this requires an investment. I would like to come back more often because I hope for the evolution of the place. Congratulations, the location is very well positioned, a peaceful and pleasant place.

(Translated by Google) I was completely disappointed with the inn. It's a breeding ground for pigeons. The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, with jammed windows. The bed is awful; I lost three nights of sleep. The old air conditioning doesn't cool, not to mention the noise all night. With the exception of Fábio, the staff leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, there's no one at the reception. The streets are dark at night, and there's no security.
