The 24 best spots for strudel in Innsbruck

Tried the apple strudel and poppyseed plum strudel. The pastry itself is very good - thin but robust. The apple one was nice, but there was additional filling and the texture of the nuts inside was not to my taste. The poppyseed one tasted too bitter and too sweet to the extent I didn't want to finish it. The young lady who served me was nice. Overall it was OK - overrated and overpriced.

I came to this place because they were supposed to have gluten free strudel. They did not. They only have one gluten free bread. The normal strudel was fine, but it is served without any sauce (it costs extra). 10€ for one plain strudel and a piece of bread is not fine.

we went here because in the menu it said that there are gluten-free cakes and strudel and also vegan strudel. I’m celiac so I was quite excited, but there sadly weren’t any gluten-free strudel, which was okay tho because they had gluten-free cake. Sadly I’ve never eaten such a bad cake so I was quite disappointed (also not cheap, one pice of gluten-free cake was 6.40). The not gluten-free options that my friends are were really good tho, the vegan option as well. So if you look for gluten-free food I can’t recommend it, otherwise it’s nice.

It is a small place so it can be packed real quick but we got lucky and got a table outside. Inside is small and when it’s full of people the air can be bad. So I recommend the outside seating where you can see the beautiful street of Innsbruck old city. The coffee was ohkay but the strudel was really tasty!

It was very very tasty!!!! Very big choice of strudels, as sweet as salt. I try classic with apple and with rhabarber. We will return for sure because we need to try a lot of things more! And the staff is very fast and kind!

The price on vitrine (5.80) was different when we sat for order (6.40). I assumed it was because of the service. Overall, was good, however the taste could be better, considering the price.

This place has a wide variety of the famous Austrian Desserts & food options. We tried the Sacher Torte and Apple Strudel with vanilla sauce and both the desserts were nice. It's a cozy place located on the Maria Theresa Street next to the Golden Roof so the environment is quite vibrant and lively.

Very busy little coffee shop but with plenty of seating available. The menu is mostly coffee and 3 or so breakfast or lunch items and some cakes available from the front area. The service was not very friendly or welcoming but was fast and efficient. We had Apfelstrudel wich was sadly not my taste. They have clean toilets on the first floor.

I love this pastry shop. It's a small place, but really nice. I ate a cake that was like a brownie with mango mousse on top and it was very tasty. I think it's the best place in Innsbruck if you want to try some sweet treats and enjoy your day there.

Delicious hot chocolate !! They bring you hot milk and a big chocolate ball you dunk in the milk plus delicious fresh cream. We tried three different cake and all three were delicious. Just remember CASH ONLY !!!

Had a great time at Cafe Munding, an iconic cafe at Innsbruck, Austria. Cash only for some reason . No credit cards. Amazing confectionery and excellent coffee . Service is a tad slow perhaps it’s a very busy place. Very memorable

Atmosphere was really nice but we couldnt find a seat. I was craving hot chocolate so i went to get it here as it was well reviewed. However, i did not enjoy the hot chocolate. If you’re a fan of rich hot chocolate that resembles molten chocolate - thick and rich and tastes like melted chocolate with some milk/cream, then the hot chocolate from here isnt for you! The hot chocolate from here tastes more like milo + milk. Or cocoa powder with milk and sugar rather than melted chocolate in milk. Kind of like swissmiss made with cream/whipped cream. The taste of milk and sugar is more overpowering than that of chocolate. So if you’re someone who doesnt like dark chocolate or hot chocolate that is too rich, this will be up your alley!

The oldest coffee place in Innsbruck and a must visit! The cakes are simply delightful. AND: everything is 100 % vegetarian (no gelatin)... and a lot of glutenfree options. Friendly staff and nice old-fashioned interior! A perfect place for breakfast or an afternoon coffee, just wow.

Oldest cafe in Innsbruck and it’s decor is definitely very classic. The cakes are pretty and nice, but the soup is just average. Service is good and the place is often crowded. Worth a visit for coffee as it has a very impressive menu. We also liked their hot chocolate.

A coffee and pastry shop in the best location of old town. We only had coffees which were great just a bit on the small side. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Prices are on the higher end but it's tourist central and to be expected.

Disgusting serving of strudel, ice cream is additionally included in the bill. Average quality strudel. Ordered 2 teapots of tea, extra charge for each empty cup. Bank cards are not accepted. Waiters did not warn about anything in advance. Then they looked away. I do not recommend spoiling the impression of the city by visiting this place.

Beautiful place to chill or having some sweets. Cakes look amazing. The ice cream tasted so good too! Especially the pistachio ice cream. But for the banana split, the banana wasn’t sweet, it would be great if it was sweet. Overall a lovely experience to dine there. Lovely and friendly service as well

Bad interaction with waiter. 4 of us ordered 2 pastries and wanted to order one more after we finished. The waiter was inflexible and rude - he insisted we order some drinks. There were some empty tables so we are not sure why he had to insist. This felt unwelcome so we left.

A must when visiting Innsbruck. It’s the oldest café in the city, with a traditional and classic interior that is both spectacular and welcoming at the same time. We went for breakfast and were impressed by the huge variety of options, from more than ten types of coffee to pastries, as well as hot breakfast dishes like eggs or bacon. The food is delicious, the coffee excellent, and the portions just right. Prices are very competitive and the service is fast and efficient. Without a doubt, my favorite spot in Innsbruck to have breakfast or enjoy a good coffee.

We had a quiet lovely morning here. We took simple ordinary breakfast, so couldn’t really recommend any food, but we enjoyed our time here. The staff was also kind. We just noticed that some tables weren’t served promptly.

I visited Café Central to try their desserts and ordered the Kaiserschmarrn and the apple pie. The apple pie was disappointing. On top of that, the staff were not friendly at all. Overall, it was far below my expectations.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The service was poor, with staff that appeared inattentive and unprofessional. The place was not clean, and our table was never cleared after the previous guests. The atmosphere was also unpleasant – there was no music, only constant noise coming from the kitchen, which made the environment tiring. As for the desserts, they were simply reheated in a microwave rather than freshly prepared, which felt unacceptable for a café. Overall, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in such a place, and I truly regret it.

As soon as I sat down I was made to feel uncomfortable and rushed. The staff put a receipt on my table immediately, which put me off. The cake was stale and you can tell it was not fresh as the whipped cream tasted off and the pastry was old. When I got ready to leave and pay, an older waitress almost flew to my table to 'ensure' I would pay. No trust in customers for no reason = no repeat customers for a reason. No card payments and almost 10 euros less in my pockets...never to return.

If you're a fan of delicious chocolate and cakes, then Cafe-konditorei Valier in Innsbruck is a must-visit. The cakes and chocolates are simply amazing, with a wide variety of flavors and styles to choose from.

I saw this place on Google map and since it had a high rating I decided to go with my family members. We went there when the place opened up so there was no queue and we could sit down right away. We had a baby but the restaurant has a child seat so it was no problem. The service was nice and the staffs were friendly towards us. The only sad thing was the food quality. The bread, and the eggs I had… well really nothing special. It was just like something anyone can cook and prepare. The cheesecake also tasted like the ones at any other standard cafes. There was no food or drink that stood out that could make us want to come back. After all I was puzzled as to why this place has such high rating… The interior atmosphere of the place is quite cosy though.

Really good coffee and the best in the area by far! The cake selection was a nice surprise as well, so much on offer and vegan options too. The staff were friendly and even though it was busy the service was great.

If you are a senior and like a little service, then STAY AWAY! There was no elevator worth mentioning, No working heaters in rooms and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Overpriced place because of it’s location. A threshold in one of the rooms was 1 inch too high - dangerous! A certain rug had an odor, but management insisted they don’t allow pets. How would they know? No management at the building! Stairs are spiral - luggage not recommended. A marathon would have been easier to run. If you like heart ache and cold rooms in the winter, then stay at Golden Fleece Apartments by Penz.

Be careful not to get too close to the café part of the establishment as they are about to open up. I got scream at for walking passed the staff as they were carrying out the tables (not that I got in anybody‘s way, I just had the „audacity“ to walk by). Can‘t judge their food/rooms but after this experience, I politely decline any further encounters.

My family and I are currently staying in Seefeld and visited Innsbruck for the day yesterday as we have done previously. We stopped at a cafe that is also part of the Golden Roof Apartments. Without provocation or just cause the Australian Manager violantly verbally and racially assaulted us and came very close to physically assaulting me by squaring up to me and provoking me with verbal abuse and chasing us down the street. All that warranted such a horrendous torrent of abuse was placing an empty plastic bottle on the table we were using to consume the coffee and pastries we'd ordered from the cafe in question. I'm a disabled war veteran and despite my disabilities I'm still more than capable of fending off any attacks, however violence wasn't the correct course of action, especially in front of my wife and son. My wife was extremely distressed and my son, who has ADHD, was in floods of tears. My Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from military service completely incapacitated me and we had to find somewhere to sit and calm down. Had we not already bought tickets for the cable car and other local attractions we would have left Innsbruck immediately and returned to Seefeld. I have contacted the Innsbruck Police as well as the Board of Commerce & Trade and Innsbruck Tourism Board. Although we've been to Innsbruck previously this has put us off ever visiting again, our family holiday has been tarnished with the enduring memory of this extremely distressing encounter.

Good food. Good price. It's just not easy to find a table when you need to find one yourself. Each order has quite a big portion to easily fill one. Since it's an open space, there are smokers here and there in the outside area.

Great place, great location and great food! The price is good too (around 20/person) and the staff is friendly except for one bald waiter with a crucifix tattoed on the neck that was pissed at us for no reason, and when I asked to change my order 30 seconds after have done it he started grumbling in german and the whole restaurant noticed his behavior. He didnt even say thank you back or bye or anything, he was obviously mad. Beside it everything was great, I hope that guy is in a better mood now

Awesome place, highly recommended. Came here to taste traditional Austrian dishes and didn’t get disappointed. Schnitzel was good, not too thin, though I would change cold potato salad to seasonal salad. Apple strudel was really delicious. Special mention for staff: they were amazing, friendly, and very nice. One of the staff members was even singing Susanna. Would definitely return there.

Had the petite schnitzel and two soups - pancake soup and goulash soup. The schnitzel was really juicy and the meat was nice and tender. The goulash soup was really tasty. The taste of oregano lingered at the end of each bite! The pancake soup was good - filled with veggies and some sausage. Pancake soup was a little too salty for us, but again saltiness is subjective. The place was nicely lit and service was really great!

We were told not to sit on a 4-people table, although there were 4-people tables with 2 on them. The man serving us was in rush and semi friendly. The food overall was not good in our idea. The Schwein Schnitzel had a really bad smell and the material was apart from the meat and seemed not fresh 👎🏻 its potato salad was a bit sour! The salad had nothing really special and the bacons were overcooked/fried. Therefore too pricey! The roast (beef) was delicious and actually the only good part, we used its gravy to eat other foods. The side potatoes were also very tasty. We had to eat so many sweets after this meal at this restaurant to remove the bad smell… paid >68€ and not satisfied at all. I do not recommend!

Had an early dinner on their patio. It was a little quieter and more relaxed than restaurants on the main square. Service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. (Remember to politely ask for the check when you are ready to go. He did not rush us which was appreciated.) Food very good, traditional dishes. Mixed salad, goulash & Knödel (it was nice to try the sliced & sautéed version they had but I prefer the regular, round, bread dumpling/ Knödel ) and Cordon Bleu (if having potato salad on my mixed salad again would request Pommes frites or other side options)

I just had the best apple strudel and cream dessert I've ever had--simply delightful. Perfect flakey pastry, apples cooked down properly so they still had some bite, and the consistency of the vanilla cream sauce was spot on. Accompanied by Austrian coffee, I couldn't have asked for a better way to cap off the day. Plus, my server was outstanding - very informative and clearly proud of the region's cuisine. The terrace is a nice evening spot too. I definitely recommend the place.

A great restaurant with a great waiter and tasty food 🙏🏼 I was at the Schmankerln on a Monday Evening and ordered a traditional Wiener Schnitzel. The Schnitzel was great, very juicy and tasteful, just as the potato salad that came with it. (I can recommend it) The waiter Mike had a great energy and made the whole experience a lot better, which lead to this review. 🤝🏼 If you go to the Schmankerl and Mike is there, you’ll have a good time and you’ll be good looked after. I can highly recommend the restaurant and wish you all a great time in Innsbruck.

Cool vibe? Nope. At Cafe Bar Moustache, the atmosphere was more like a stuffy attic than a lively bar. The service was still bad, but it was hard to notice over the stale air and general lack of energy in the place.

Hip food/drink place with friendly and quick service. Open until very late too! I recommend the Phat Philly sandwich if you're looking for a delicious fulfilling meal. Though I will have to try the salads too one day, they looked great. I had a drink with my father in the evening here too, and I can say the espresso martini is excellent as well!

Excellent Sunday brunch!! Belgian Waffles the size of your head (at least what an American would call Belgian waffles), with lots of bacon and syrup. All for just 9.50 Euros. Great cappuccino, great vibe. More alternative place but attracts all ages at least on Sundays.

It was quite busy and I was sat somewhat in a corridor by the kitchen BUT it was still very nice and a nice place to spend time. Beer was cheap & my sandwich was huge and delicious.

I went to this place because I searched for cafes I could work at (with my laptop). It was described as a welcoming place for that and I l liked the vibe from the pictures. I went there on a Thursday and stayed from 13:00 - 17:00. What I found very positive was that the place is very central, but in a hidden alley where you quickly escape the touristic chaos. Inside, the ambience is nice and they played Pink Floyd the entire time I was there, which I enjoyed. They didn't mind me staying that long... But maybe they didn't mind a bit too much? The only time I was directly approached was when I came in. They didn't have decaf options, so I asked for a chai latte. It came quick and was fine. I was never approached again. The empty teacup and cup stayed with me for at least an hour and no one checked if I wanted anything else. I was directly in sight of the bar and went there to ask for a glass of wine (also came quick, with some water, and was fine). The empty cups also stayed with me until I finished work, payed (by going directly to the bar), and left. There was no sign about the place being "Selbstbedienung" (self-service). This experience would have been four stars since, as already mentioned, the ambience was nice. But I have to retract one more because I just didn't feel welcome. I didn't feel the service was friendly, and every time I interacted with them, I had the feeling they wanted to be done with me as quickly as possible. I know they can be nice because I saw how they interacted when people they knew entered the place. Just not with me, and I can only speculate as to why. If it matters, I communicated in German to them. Cool ambience, but I won't be coming back.

In theory, this is a great place, nice food&drink with good price, and the outdoor seats face the beautiful courtyard and the dom. But in practice I don't truly feel comfortable during my visits. The food portion is too big, the interior seats are awkward, the outside is not laptop vibe, and cash-only is inconvenient for me.

Great Bar, they have good drinks for good prices. You will find a lot of students there during the semester, so it is a very chill and youthful atmosphere. Only inconvenience is they only take cash, but they have an ATM right in front of the building.

Amazing selection of tea and coffee. They have a section that would be great for gifts. I saw that they offered iced coffee (American style, with ice cubes, not ice cream) and got an iced cappuccino. The milk foam reminded me of Starbuck’s cold cream - just slightly sweet and made the coffee so so good. I wish I had more time in Innsbruck cause I’d come here every day!

I have made several purchases from the House of Tea & Coffee and this is by far my favorite tea place in Innsbruck. The team is very kind, helpful, and smiley. Excellent work y’all! Thanks for the tea :)

Do not recommend at all. The freshly pressed juice was completely watered down (we saw this with our own eyes). The omelet and the waffles were pretty, but the omelet was tasteless and the waffles tasted like cheep supermarket waffles with a very weirdly tasting chocolate sauce. Save your money and go to “Summit and Friends” (around the corner) or “Heublume Wilten”, same price, delicious and filling breakfast.

This place has a wide variety of Breakfast/Bruch options. We had a vegetarian platter which came with different breads and the spreads. The food was good but only thing which we did not like was that for juices they didn't have freshly squeezed juices instead the packaged juices only. We found it little expensive. They have good indoor and outdoor seating area.

Had done a reservation for this place. On reaching, I tried to catch hold of someone, but everyone was scampering around and no one really paid attention and I had to wait literally like 10mins to get a seat. There was a lady who seemed like the manager or owner who saw me, but didn’t approach or make an effort to help me out which made the experience a bit salty. Almost 10 mins later a lady helped me out and got me a place to sit. After the ordeal, I dug into the menu and ordered. The food was good, but felt a bit expensive. It wasn’t very exciting, and felt a bit overhyped and expensive as per my taste. Even while paying, had go to the counter to pay and had to wait for another 10mins or so for someone to notice and actually get the bill. Same lady saw me and ignored. Overall experience was Meh! Would not return and not recommend.

The original Sache Torte! I found it rich in more ways than one (it's also expensive, get it?). Even though the cafe is pretty, I would still recommend having the cake for takeaway, because the wooden takeaway box is so beautiful it's an awesome souvenir in itself. And once in awhile you can open it and get a whiff of the Sache Torte aroma and get high on the reminiscence.

Amazing place in the old town of Innsbruck to have breakfast and taste this amazing cake, typical of the country; lots of peope have suggested us this Cafè, both visitors and locals, and our expectations were satisfied. Sacher was great, and the place is classy, elegant; moreover, the service is welcoming, and it feels like being into a royal palace, concerning the atmosphere. Just consider that Sacher Cafè is not properly a cheap place, indeed is quite expensive: the average cost of a breakfast for example, is obviously higher than other bars, but it's worth it, for the experience of tasting this typical dessert in the most suggested Cafè of this city. Average, in case you want to know: for a couple of italian coffees and a couple of Sacher slices , we spent almost 15 euros.

We visited Innsbruck same time last year, it was a weekend excursion from Munich, we were a little disappointed as Sitzwohl closed for weekends (both Sat & Sun). This year, extra effort been made to reach Innsbruck on Friday evening, and advanced booking been made ahead. Long story short, this is a great restaurant which score with flying color for all 3 attributes. If I were to add one more dimension, I would praise highly on the presentation of the each dish served… full of creativity & aesthetics.. Kudos to the Chef who really care for finite details. The white asparagus soup served was the first positive impression, followed by the pleasant surprise was the Tuna Pizza, the Tuna was freshly sliced in Sashimi form, layered with pickle ginger & Mayonnaise Wasabi stacked above a approx 3-4 inches Pizza bread… my immediate impression was that it was Japanese Washoku Fusion, for once I thought we were in a Japanese restaurant, another Japanese Fusion element was the tender Black Angus steak which top with the sauce which seemingly cheated my taste buds as a Wafu sauce (Yaki Niku sauce). The restaurant Manager Russel presented a highest level of hospitality, in my opinion. We promised Russel that we will come again for sure!!

Sitzwohl is a wonderful restaurant with amazing food, it has great atmosphere and service. You can choose food from vegetarian, fish or meat dishes. The appetizers have good portions and taste wonderful, i recommend the tuna as a starter. For dessert there are a few choices and the irish cake absolutely blew my mind. The restaurant can also host larger groups or be booked by a dinner out with your co-workers.

Top notch restaurant would put it in 1 star Michelin range. The full tasting menu is the way to go. Great wine list at a decent prices. People have been “complaining” about price but I think it’s perfectly priced for the quality, portion and service. Each dish was balanced thoughtful and served well. I had an awesome staff member from Sardinia, he was great! 6 stars!

This is the end of a beautiful year, and this restaurant and the team has touch our heart with this unique experience. The environment, the service and the food were a great combination. I can say was poetry, love and magic in one place. A new year eve dinner was ahead and we were well welcomed with champagne glass and a avocado tartar that just open our appetite for the wonderful dinner. I will let the pictures to show how this place will take you to a trip of flavours and textures. Their contemporary cuisine and respect for and to the products show the value of this restaurant. I can tell you how wonderful and unforgettable this place was but. The only thing I would like to say; I will 100% come back next year to celebrate, because I know they will celebrate with me and my family by delighting us/you with a magical feast.

Short: Top Restaurant and bar. Pricy but worth it! Long: Bar and adjacent conference room on the ground floor (nice outdoor tables too) and a very good restaurant upstairs. Menu changes with every season and is accompanied by a decent variety of wines. Staff is very friendly, facilities and such are clean. Parking is possible in the underground carpark right underneath the restaurant. It's definitely not cheap but it delivers. I'd recommend doing a reservation.

The evening started off great with a rosemary & apricot sorbet Prosecco spritz. Next came the prosciutto and melon spread which was to-die-for (IMHO) and we haven’t even reached our mains!

This cafe bar is located in the beginning of the main street of Innsbruck‘s old town, right next to the golden roof. The offered food is of solid variety, the focus seems to be more on drinks as well as cake and coffee. The staff is friendly - thanks very much for your service!

We visited this restaurant with friends for dinner. The others ordered Viennese schnitzel with beef, while I chose the version with pork. For starters, we had beef tartare and antipasti. Unfortunately, I have to say the price for the tartare was absurdly high—charging €25 for a starter is too much. The antipasti price of €9 was also over the top. The beef schnitzel was bland and boring; the pork one was slightly better. The service was rather poor. Starters and main courses were brought out at the same time, and everything barely fit on the table. To top it all off, a service fee was added without asking, which is very unusual and quite sneaky. I wouldn’t recommend this place—nothing good comes with the price they ask.

Enjoyed a Burgundi Toast which was some ham in two slices of toast, topped off with a fried egg, and some salad on the side. As a small-ish lunchtime meal it was perfect for me and I would have it again. Very tasty. Service was quick and friendly, the price was very good, and it was all just right.

The ambience was pleasant and it has outdoor seating as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience!

Writing this review 85 minutes into waiting for our food. The waitress has not shown her face in the last 30 minutes. Apparently there is another group being served in another room, but our larger table and two other desperate looking parties are stranded without any hope and food on this desolate Sunday evening…. Eventually the food came, was rather decent and the waitress reappeared and gave her best. Still, not the most pleasant evening.

Just had the most amazing authentic Indian meal. The place is clean, the service was excellent and the food fresh. Our wonderful waiter spoke English. Definitely worth coming back when in Innsbruck again.

We waited for 2h when the estimated time for delivery was 30-55 minutes. After 1:30h the food was in delivery and arrived another half hour later cold and tasteless. I'll never order there again.

Restaurant is good, spacious enough. We were a big group of 35 people and it takes uitea few minutes for a group this size to settle down. The manager/owner however immediately started sushing everyone for even asking questions even though there was barely any commotion or noise. The food itself was quite tasty especially the Kali Dal/Dal Makhani and the mango dessert they were serving.

Probably the best in the town in terms of authenticity and taste of Indian food, so I love to go to this place! The location however is not in the city center but still can be easily reachable(by Bus or even by walk if you want to make yourself too hungry :D). I would highly recommend this place!

A wonderful spot with excellent friendly servers who seem to take teamwork to the next level. Farina and ( gentleman whose name I did not catch) delighted us with a dinner paced to perfection as we like to linger over drinks first. We had fresh salad with homemade dressing and I had veal schnitzel with lingonberry sauce and it was tender and tasty and my husband had beef goulash with pillowy light spaetzle. Good value for money. A very nice evening for sure.

The tall Asian looking server is extremely rude and unfriendly. I don't know how can they employ people who does not even know basic manners.The Manager lady is really disgusting. When we raised our concerns, she said this is the way they work. No wonders servers are also like this . I'm reiterating, the Manager lady is absolutely disgusting.

This place was a life saver, there is one of a chain of bakers in here where the food it to die for.. you can spend x3 for Apple strudel in the old town or pop into the baker Ruben and enjoy better for less.. not a clue what else is in here

Visited the galleria in the first week of Jan. It's an appealing shopping centre with a glass roof ceiling, top brands and a lot of places to eat & drink. So to avoid the harsh cold weather we entered the center to shop, drink, shop and eat :)

A cozy cafe, conveniently located near the old square. We had the avocado hummus which was very different and quite dense. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, and oat milk option for coffee! The staff were very friendly. The prices were very reasonable. You can book a table if you wish, but it was not necessary while we were there (around 9am). There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Such a cozy spot! We ordered coffees, banana bread, apple strudel scone, and porridge. Everything was delicious, I would definitely stop in again for a cozy breakfast.

The best coffee and cake place in Innsbruck, I came for amazing homemade cakes and stayed for the delightful staff and cosy atmosphere.

This cozy Austrian restaurant near the river has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with very friendly staff. I tried several dishes, and they were decent overall. The schnitzel was the highlight, served in a large portion. The beef goulash and smoked trout were good but not especially memorable. The beer was excellent and made the meal more enjoyable.

Service was very friendly and why I ate here instead of my stop before, personally matters. This staff was very friendly and workable to your needs as I was there during a rain storm. It has a nice atmosphere, whether you choose indoor or outdoor seating, obviously it's louder outside based on foot traffic. Loved their beer selection, but does anywhere really have a bad one, lol. The pork schnitzel was very good, wanted to try authentic beef, but ordered wrong due to language barriers on menu. Definitely use the lemon, it provides a nice pop to the outer crust. The potato salad was standard German salad, take it for what it is. The pretzel had great flavor, but being the end of the night it was in the stale range.

Lovely meal. Unexpectedly so, as it was in the very centre for tourists in the old town. My son said it was the best schnitzel he'd had. My Kaisarschmarren was good too. And not too pricey. Nicely located, with outside dining.

A great spot for a beer and snack in downtown Innsbruck! We enjoyed their summer drink options, including the Innsbruck lager they’ve partnered with a brewery to create. Their menu is small but we liked the dinner options we ordered- the schlutzkrapfen and beer beef stew were both excellent. Their outdoor seating is right on a main walking street, so very lively and a great spot for people watching.

After a long travel and only half a day in Innsbruck, we were looking for a place where we could get some food, have a beer and relax until the next train. We couldn’t have chosen better! The service was unbelievably friendly, attentive and fast in a casual comfortable environment. The Hawaiian radler beer was so good with pineapple juice and something to add a little fizz to the beer. The sausages and pork schnitzel both went very well with the mustard sauce they provided and Austrian chocolate cake was amazing! The only thing I’d suggest is not to overuse the mustard since there’s not a lot of food variety. The potato salad had mustard in it and a wasabi like food we didn’t enjoy, but on the whole loved it and will go back next time we are in Innsbruck!

We came when breakfast was just finished but they let us have a small choice of breakfast options. The shakshuka was a sort of easy to make version of shakshuka but was still enjoyed. I had the vegan smoothie bowl which was lovely, just a bit too cold for me and kind of a bit too much smoothie. I think I'd have got the granola with vegan yoghurt if I was able to. Vegan banana bread was yummy, as was the coffee.

The best: environment and food. Cute place to go and chat with your bestie. Nice food, the butter 🧈 is omg super good, sourdough bread 🍞 on point also. Seats outside, cute but not comfortable. Inside better, more comfortable but less instagrammable. Kind attention and fast. Attention: laptops are not allowed! So it's not a place to go to work.

Hidden gems of lovely Cafe which located at the second floor of the Wagner'schen Buchhandlung bookshop. Nice ambiences and fantastic decorations with indoor and outdoor. Interesting menu and good for vegan lovers. The staff are so friendly with wonderful service. One of my favorite place in town.

The late macchiato with oatmeal milk was amazing!!! The food is really good, but I find the price a little high. You have to make a reservation as it gets super busy at lunch time. The carrot cake is amazing and all of their options are vegetarian/vegan. The service is really, really good and you can work there if you want.

This is a great hidden spot in the center of Innsbruck. You need to go through the library to get to the cafe, which make the experience even better. There is a nice terrace, I had a brunch and the food was delicious. The people were very kind. Highly recommend!

No drinking outside after 10pm. Very noisy and crowded after 11pm. Smoking in the basement is accepted, after 11pm long que outside. Good drinks, nice vibes, interesting interior! Common place for the youth. DJ was terrible (minimal techno), toilet was disgusting. Special ginger ale drinks are recommended from brass pint

I don’t think I’ve had an experience as bad as this at any bar… The staff was very unfriendly, impatient and just grumpy. Sure, the atmosphere is great, but it’s not worth it. It almost felt like the staff was making fun of us. They told a friend of mine that joined a little later that she HAS to consume something, otherwise she has to leave, even tho she just started looking at the menu. And mind you the rest of us have already ordered a bunch of drinks (inkluding a whole wine bottle). “I hope you don’t take this long making life-desicions/choices!” were her words, which also were not meant to be a funny or silly joke. “I know you’re students, but you’re not at the Treibhaus” (where you don’t have to necessarily consume something to be allowed to stay). All in all it was just uncomfortable and very judgmental. I would not recommend and will not go there again.
