On December 27, 2024, we visited New INDIA Restaurant in Innsbruck for dinner. While the restaurant is relatively small in size, its location is excellent and easy to access. Unfortunately, the service did not meet our expectations. We ordered Mango Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo, and the taste was delightful, offering authentic flavors. Despite the service shortcomings, the quality of the food made the visit worthwhile.

The food was really good , authentic Indian. But the service was very poor- really long waiting times. We ordered at 5:40 and received our food at 7.

Not at all Indian taste. They did not have Dal Makhani on menu but they said we will prepare and they gave the yellow dal with butter. Ordered veg biryani, it had no taste and the rice appeared very dry.

I would not recommend this restaurant to any Indian. The server is very rude especially to Indians. Food was also bad - hard paneer with no taste in the gravy, naan was burnt . My experience - I was first in the queue, but the server gave the table to another German couple first. He told me that it will take long time for the food to come. We couldn't go anywhere else as we were with a kid. The other couple who was behind us, finished their food before our food was served In my opinion, it would be helpful to both the Indian customer and the server that Indians don't visit them as he doesn't want to serve them.

A Mexican restaurant in the very heart of Innsbruck's old town. The menu is diverse and you can always find something that suits your taste. For meat eaters this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly, the service is fast and the food is no doubt tasty. I have to note however that the majority of the dishes contain pork meat so if you don't eat pork then your meat plate choices could be limited, but there is burgers, chicken, steaks and vegetarian food as well.

The ribs are nicely grilled with a delicious charred crust. However, both the wings and ribs would have been far better if the meat was fresher and more succulent.

I stopped by and the food was good, and it came out really fast, which was even better! I think the service was better than the restaurant I recommended. There are various menus, but I recommend the ribs!

The most perfect ribs imaginable, service was great, and the ambience was very cozy. Tourist friendly and lots of great music.

Everything about this place is great! Traveling with teenagers and one wanted wings and another wanted ribs. So we got both! The staff was more than friendly - one of them walked with a dance and even sang a little tune as he walked away after delivering the desert.

We really appreciated finding this restaurant. The variety of food, drinks, and service was excellent !!!! We are staying five days in Innsbruck, and we'll definitely be back before we leave. By the way, the chicken wings/ribs was a great dinner.

The food was good — the ribs were a little dry, but the chicken wings were awesome! Service wasn’t bad, but it took a long time to get our food, and about 40 minutes to bring some drinks we ordered near the end. The place is huge and great to come with friends, but in the area where we sat, they really need more ventilation or AC — we felt like we were cooking inside the restaurant.

I went for lunch. I had the spicy chicken. My wife had a cheeseburger. Both were very good. The burger was small when compared with other local burger restaurants but very good. We also had chill cheese fries which were good. We only had soft drinks. The beer selection looks very nice but I did not have the time for beer. The experience was good. It was on the expensive side for sure.

The food is good and well made. The burger tasty but small for thenprice. The vegetarian pizza was more like a salad and bread. I found the barbecue chicken the best. The atmosphere was in general nice, but the bathroom unfortunately are smelly with no soap.

Really interesting decor. The menu variety was exactly what we were looking for. Service was top. Food quality was excellent. Great cocktails Will be certainly back! Definitely recommend to go!

Easy to reach, offers lot's of parking opportunities and clean facilities. Pricing is rather expensive but the quality is good. Card payment mandatory currently (which is good from a hygienic view anyway)

Good lunch restaurant located in the city center of Innsbruck, along the pedestrian Maria-Theresien-Strasse. This place is very lively and crowded with tourists. However, the restaurant is on the first floor and offers a beautiful view of the pedestrian street, its magnificent buildings, and has a good atmosphere. The staff is professional and efficient, the food is Italian and while good, it's nothing too fancy. The menu is a fixed price at lunch, you can choose between 4-5 options.

It wasn’t easy to find the restaurant, it’s not actually inside the shopping centre, but at a separate entrance before it, on the first floor. That said, the food was very good and it made for a great final meal in Innsbruck.

My sister was in town so we decided on a visit to "Das Schindler", one of my favorite Lunch Restaurants in Innsbruck. They serve a fixed lunch menu and you can decide between four different courses, either 2 course or 3 course lunch. There is always a Vegetarian meal available too. After we ordered our beverages, 1 glass of Prosecco and 1 beer and a mineral water, the waiter asked what we had decided on. My sister and I both chose the Shrimp Satay, a delicate appetizer with a hint of spicy Indonesian flavor, shrimps and some delicious veggies. My wife ordered the salad which looked very fresh and she said it tasted scrumptious. As our main course we ordered three different dishes. The traditional "Wiener Schnitzel" and potato salad. The Schnitzel was a pork cutlet. I ordered the Beef Goulash with "Spaetzle" and the meat was incredibly moist and well cooked, the sauce had a touch of mild paprika, just enough, but not too much. I really enjoyed it very much. The grilled Salmon filet was served on black rice and was so tender it melted in the mouth. The total bill for three people, including tips ended up being 90 Euros, well worth the visit and the quality of the food. I always enjoy going to "Das Schindler", however this time there was one thing that kind of bugged me. I am used to excellent service there, but this time the waiter was efficient but very impersonal. That was the only disappointing detail.

Good Wienerschnitzel, the salad and potato sides could definitely use some improvement. The waiter seemed to rush us through in the beginning of our dinner, but as the restaurant became busy the rush decreased. Very good location.

You clearly pay for the restaurant’s location. We are used to fine dining and it was not. All ingredients are fresh and local which is a good point, unfortunately there’s a big issue with seasoning : no salt or pepper in any of the dishes we ordered, everything was very bland. Sorbets were very good but that was the only part of the dessert we enjoyed : the apple cake strongly tasted like egg and the baba au rhum didn’t smell or taste like rhum, it was a simple cake. Waiters didn’t seem very knowledgeable as I asked for a local drink or alcohol and he offered me apero spritz which is Italian

The burger was great, but the fries were the real star - perfectly crisp and flavorful, some of the best I have had. I also tried a Zirben Spritzer for the first time and it was love at first sip. Service was quick and friendly! I even got to play some pinball after a long time, which was a fun little bonus to the evening.

Great IPA selection. It was a nice taste of home on a two week trip to Europe. My wife found a Mexican Lager she liked too. The selection was great and the bartender was very friendly. Beers were roughly 7 Euro each.

The place is great for a few beers, but don't plan on eating there. First of all, we were surprised that the outside area is being serviced but the inside tables are self-service (you have to go to the bar to order). That's okay... but you should then not charge the full price, as service cost is essentially void. Second, the food was really subpar. The burger we ordered was more bun than anything else (why even bother advertising it as focaccia buns?). The 'Pulled Beef' burger did not contain more than maybe 50 grams of meat (see pictures). The country fries were completely over seasoned and tasted just like salt. We had to leave them. One good aspect was the beer. The choices are various and it's a great choice to take the 'beer tasting' choice where you can try 4 different beers.

A fun restaurant with some delicious food at a very reasonable price for the Dolomites! Ignore any negative reviews about service, we spoke with multiple members of staff who were all extremely polite, answering any questions we had and offering everything we needed. Great English from all staff as well, which although not expected by any means, shows again their extra desire to be helpful and hospitable :)

Got into Innsbruck late and couldn't find anyone still serving. Another restaurant recommended this place. We were a bit hesitant when we walked in but it was a pleasant surprise. Crispy spareribs (yes, crispy) were excellent. My wife had the chicken cordon Bleu and it was also very good.

Had a few hours to kill before my train and got a Schnitzel here. I had amazing service from Elvis who recommended the Tiroler Bier - which I thoroughly enjoyed.

We got here because it was the only one opened late. And while the food was average, the service was TERRIBLE. We were admonished for sitting at a free table, for not checking the entire menu to see if they had lemonade and had the audacity to ask, to which the waiter told us to check the entire menu before we order and left. Burger King is close by, go to that one instead

Burger was horrible, 3 snippers onion, boring little bit of sauce, and tasteless meat. The burger patty tastes like nothing, has totally no flavour. This burger was 6,80 euro. Even Mcdonalds burgers tastes way better than this. Cavapcici had a bit more flavour, but nothing special. 5 small fingers with fries. This dish cost 7,90 euro. In my opinion not worth it.

The good one is its close to the hockey stadium, you can order from machine on the wall so its easy and nice BUT no english language to pick and all people dont know German. I think you should have language options in menu. I order coke light and she told me to pay more at counter for recycle or something? Way not in machine? Pizza was very good but cheeseburger was boring and dry not sure if they have ketchup i didnt see any?

I’m an American guy traveling with some Brits in search of snow. I wanted a kebab plate before returning to the states. We stopped here and were blown away! The portions were huge! The food was tasty. The atmosphere was popping. It was a really pleasant surprise.

Brunette cashier is extremely rude. I recently had throat surgery and so requested an iced latte. She said they didn’t serve it iced, so i asked if they had any ice and she said yes. So i asked for a cup of ice on the side. She angrily slammed the counter top and walked off. The nice male barista behind her, apologized and finished taking my payment. After receiving my order, without a cup of ice, the rest of my party decided to go elsewhere for our breakfast- we were treated with kindness and respect at Der Backer Ruetz and will return there instead.

The cappuccino was 4/4stars but the cornettos could have been better. The pistachio cream in one of them didn't taste much of pistachios and they were a bit too crunchy for my taste. Would go back for coffee.

Excellent service, very good quality food and super nice view of the Inn and the mountains around. We had a quality time as family and the staff are very family friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Fun trendy burger spot. There were no restrooms so we had to go to the restaurant next door and walk down stairs to wash our hands. The kids burger was way too small. My burger was decent but not great.

Inside a nice surprise, you order like by MacD on touchscreen panels and pay there, the guys that are preparing the food don’t touch the money, I find it very respectful! The disappointment begins once you get your food by the table… Minuses: 1) you don’t have the option to choose your burger to be rare or medium! 2) the meat is very thin! 3) the salad is cut too small, like to a kebab stand and you lose it easily! 4) there is no toilet inside, you have to go outside and enter in the next location! This burgerrestaurant has beautiful mountain views and is right next to the river Inn. You can order while sitting on the terrace using a QR-code, but this way you can only pay with Visa, Mastercard or Apple pay. There are 3 digital order-terminals inside where you can pay by card. Your food is brought to your table inside or outside. The burgers are tasteful and there are several special flavours of fries. The prices are fine. A perfect place for a quick bite with a nice view!

Very good food, burgers are just like they should be. Restaurant is at a very nice spot in the city centre but not too crowded. Staff is really nice and seem happy to help and accommodate. Can definitely recommend if you're craving some good burgers in a nice environment :)

I ordered from here and I had the worst burger of my life. The patty was somehow burnt and raw at the same time and the bun had a huge chunk missing. Couldn’t even eat two bites.

We ordered doner pizza, dürüm and cigkofte from here. The pizza dough was crispy and nice but the döner toppings was too dry and lack of taste and spices. Dürüm was okay and cigkofte was the worst I have ever eaten. They dis not even put the dark spicy sour source out of pomegranate into our order. I means that’s the main thing giving the specific taste and without it, cigkofte is incomplete 🤷‍♀️ Beaides, the portions are pretty small. I guess we will never order from there again 👎

The food was really bad. We started off with a lentil soup which was just so watery. We tried to salvage it by dumping salt but nevertheless we were not able to eat it. We then got our mix grill with so so so little meat. There was just a small bite of meat on the bones and got just 4 tiny pieces of chicken. The meat was really dry, so little flavor that we had to use their whole bottle of salt on everything we ordered. We ordered fries on the side but got rice instead which would have been fine if the rice weren’t so sticky and not at all what we are used to from the turkish cuisine. The waitress was really nice but definitely not worth the really bad food.

They say there is a delivery time of 30min. I started calling them after one hour of waiting, and nobody picked up the phone. I called 7 times. After one hour and a half, they called me amd told me that the guy is waiting for me and I am not there. When I went to open the door, they delivery guy was not there but waiting inside the car and made me go 100m and pick up the pizza over the car's window. The worst service you can have. If you open a restaurant and don't want to work, better just don't open it. The pizza super greasy.

We went two nights in a row, that’s how amazing the food is! Highly recommend the family platter, such good value. The mushroom sauce is incredible and the schnitzel and pork were perfectly cooked. The owner is super friendly and chatty. Thank you so much :)

Well, I'm surprised that this place is only known by locals, because it really is a marvel. I think there are no words to describe it, you just have to go there and try! The dishes are fabulous, cooked very well, plentiful and at an absolutely advantageous price! My family and I had a family platter for 4, which included 4 schnitzel, 4 steaks, fries, rice, vegetables and mushroom sauce for just 32€!! Everything was DELICIOUS!! The only slightly negative note is that the owner is a bit particular, in the sense that she is quite neurotic, but never rude, and sometimes the communication with foreigners is a bit difficult, but that is absolutely no reason not to come here! If I were to end up in Innsbruck again I would already know where to have a tasteful meal!

I'm so glad we chose the Tiroler Weinstube for our last night in Tirol. It was a perfect environment, with locals and a few tourists in their authentic setting, with good-natured, quick service and delicious food. We would return in a heartbeat!

The place is out of crowds and provides local experience. I assumed there wouldn't be many tourists but many clients were speaking English. It was quite crowded but the service was still quite fast. We had kasespatzle and pork roast, both were delicious and reasonably priced. There were some musicians by the entrance enriching the nice atmosphere:).

Liquid Dairy is a cool bar in Innsbruck town. It's quite a unique and awesome place. Lovely staff and friendly. Great atmosphere and chill out. Not bad to come here for a good cocktail. 😘

Wow! What a place in the heart of Innsbruck. Ask for Damir to assist you. He won the mixologist of the year in 2018. He knows his stuff. Just give him your taste preferences, and he has you sorted. No drinking outside after 10pm. Very noisy and crowded after 11pm. Smoking in the basement is accepted, after 11pm long que outside. Good drinks, nice vibes, interesting interior! Common place for the youth. DJ was terrible (minimal techno), toilet was disgusting. Special ginger ale drinks are recommended from brass pint

This bar is easy to overlook but definitely worth it. Super chill atmosphere, welcoming staff that can help you choose among the many drinks options to find something to your taste. The signature drinks are a must try! Not a lot of food to accompany the drinks with and no vegan options but we didn’t miss it.

It's an extremely cozily decorated bar in Innsbruck. Plus, you can buy XXL size of cocktails in a jug with a very good price there. However, I suggest you to be careful about Erasmus ESN night gatherings. It's usually every Monday or Tuesday every week during the semester. If you want to avoid an extreme crowd, it would be better not to go there these nights. On the other hand, it would be the best chance for you to make some English-speaking friends if you like.

I asked about a local pine liquor which the bar had, they whipped me up a cocktail with it and it was delicious. The bartender was very nice and let me taste the liquor before making the cocktail. The vibe or the place is great, nice music, cozy places to sit, check it out.

Went to Fuchs und Hase to celebrate getting older. Cosy venue, phenomenal sandwiches, craft cocktails with their own spin, and warm, friendly, and fun service.
