Sorry to say this but food in this place used to be good and tasty. Today we were disappointed. The meat had no taste and way too overcooked. The käsespätzle was ok but also missing some spices. Service was unbelievably bad. Completely ignoring us and when she actually came to the table her face was so angry that I thought we should pay and leave before I make a scene. We were walking around Innsbruck and saw the fire tower and decided to walk up the 51 meters to get a view of the city. Walked up and you have to pay 4:50 for a ticket then walk up a flight of stairs and then insert your ticket into the turnstile. You then climb around 160 stairs to the top. The view is pretty go and it gives you a good Birds Eye view of the city 360 degrees. It was ok I’d do it again.

The view is definitely amazing for the entrance fee, which was 10 euro as compared to any other adventure cost in the city. However, I caution you, one has to climb almost 10 floors of spiraling staircase with dim lights which can be scary for many and exhausting. I wasn't aware of this and it was a bit scary for me especially returning back. No lifts or shortcuts here which is scary if you get hurt or in case of emergency.

The ticket shop is located on the 2nd floor. Family ticket is available too. We climbed the steel spiral stairway to the top, while resting in-between. The view of innsbruck is fabulous and you can view Golden Roof building from here. There is also pay to use binoculars. The outdoor viewing platform's space is tight, so it is tricky if there are more people. You can use the same entrance ticket to enter the toilet located at ground level.

The climb to the top requires some effort, as there are many stairs to climb, but it’s definitely worth it. Also, the ticket price is cheaper for students, which makes the visit even better. If you enjoy panoramic views and don’t mind a bit of a workout, Stadtturm is a must-see!

If you are looking for a big range for women clothing items and you don't want to get tired going out of the city just for shopping either, at this point, Sillpark is the right place you are seeking for from my perspective. The staff were so nice! I bought a ring yesterday but realised it was too big once i cut off the rubber that tied it to the packaging. So i headed in to exchange my ring today. The exchange process was really easy and the staff were happy to help. I went in with my ring in M size, the original packaging and the receipt. And i tried on the S size ring with the help of a staff. Then i just brought the S size ring to the cashier and explained the need for a change in size. The exchange was super quick, took less than 10 mins altogether! Really thankful for the experienced staff and the helpful service!

How to get there? Get the bahn ticket and head towards the congress office. There you will find a train station, designed by Zaha Hadid. You will know the train station just by it's design! Then get into the train and get down at the last stop which is nordbahnkette(sounds something like this). Catch a cable car from there, comes under same ticket. This will take you to another stop which is halfway. From there catch another cable car and valah you are at the top of Innsbruck.

Despite taking a cable car for over 2000m of the ascent, it was very rewarding to walk that last stretch to the peak. Lovely scenery.
