Seafood restaurant
Millie's Restaurant & Catering is a laid-back spot with coastal decor and a loyal following. It gained fame for its BBQ-smoked alligator ribs, which were praised by Guy Fieri. The menu features ocean-to-table seafood, including local fish collars and seasonal fish cakes, as well as filet-and-shrimp fondue. For dessert, try the Berries Biscuits-N-Bourbon with bourbon-glazed berries and sweet-biscuit crumble.
We were in Daytona for the FFCC Championships and I saw this location on DDD a long time ago, so we decided why not since we were staying less than a block away. Set a reservation for 8pm and the wait wasn't too bad about 10 minutes past. The atmosphere was exactly what a dive would be with a make shift patio in a parking lot but hey it has a certain charm. We ordered the Alligator ribs as that is what they are known for and they did not dissapoint perfect flavor and heat - not gamey at all - next, and I ordered the scallops and angel hair with capers and lemon butter sauce, scallops were perfectly cooked and again the flavor was amazing. if I had one complaint...they only had Miller Lite...(yuck) get some bud light or mich ultra.

We really wanted to try the Fish Collars based on all the great reviews so we drove over on a Sunday afternoon after church. We were immediately seated by our new "friend " at the door who promptly seated us. However, when we inquired about the fish collars are new "friend " said they take about an hour to be prepared and brouto the table. There were only a handful of patrons in the restaurant so we thought that was odd as it's not mentioned in any reviews so just a heads up for anyone headed there with the same plan as us. So, we didn't have a Plan B so we had to come up with something. We decided to go with a couple of items off the "Hand Held" selections on the menu and some soup. Everything in our humble opinion was average.

Little tight and only a few tables but well worth the visit. Waitresses were excellent and friendly. Fella who greeted me was a bit gruff when I said I didn’t have a reservation. 🤷🏻 and even the poor fella w arm in the sling was nice. Millie Burger was amazing when you need a break from seafood. Well done guys!
Pete B — Google review
This is a great local restaurant for lunch or dinner, the service was excellent. There was no wait time. The food was delicious, not your ordinary diner. By any chance they had a nice wine list, and the atmosphere was perfect for an early evening dinner.
Debi L — Google review
Saw an episode with Guy Fieri in 2022 at the restaurant and decided to give this a try while in the area. We’ve been back 3 times since. It’s such a unique place and unique experience each visit as well. Food has been so good each visit as well as service. This time we enjoyed the fish dip, the scallop with linguini, lemon, tomatoes and capers, and the filet and shrimp fondue. Everything was prepared perfectly. Will definitely return! Reservations are a great idea if you plan ahead 😊. We did not and were happy to get a table after a short wait.

We picked Millie’s for our anniversary dinner from a family recommendation and were extremely pleased with this hidden gem of upscale dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Their reservation process and reminders were greatly appreciated. Our server Alana was friendly, attentive with an awesome personality. She recommended their popular dishes, Filet Mignon Sandwich and Shrimp Francaise which were both fantastic!! Millie’s is the Goldilocks of casual and fine dining, Just Right! We look forward to returning.

We had the grilled grouper dinner ( 6 oz piece of fish ) with cheese grits & roasted sweet potatoes & a side order of succotash ($8) excellent ! we split this meal - not really enough food to split but we were doing a trial run ! We of fans of Triple D - love how G Fieri promotes the small business owners ! Our meal was delish -we did a take out order ! Would come back and try more !

The food was delicious! Everything we tried, we loved! We would return again. Pictures of the filet and shrimp fondue and the special jerk tile fish with guava sauce. Chefs kiss!

The food was so great. Don’t forget to rock in the booths. The chicken tacos are very good. Jerk chicken pasta delicious Fall off the bone Ribs Shrimp and scallops with lobster sauce. Soak the hush puppies in the sauce you will not regret it. Live music was fun.

So glad Google brought me here. Excellent service and food. It was so good we came back the next day. The nachos are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!A must have trust me. The flavor is definitely a shocker. I loved everything. The pasta was great, the kids burger and hotdog, the pretzels, salad, coconut shrimp, shrimp tacos and margaritas were excellent. Can't wait to go back on vacation to go back and EAT.

Great place for atmosphere, service and delicious food. There was a great view with live entertainment that made up the great atmosphere. For food the calamari was delicious followed by a really good and fresh fish sandwich and shrimp & scallops sautéed in a lobster sauce. and ending with a best I ever had bananas Foster. (Margaritas were pretty good too). We left soon satisfied.
Peter K — Google review
Great place with great food and a beautiful view of the water. Crispy chicken salad was delicious! Nachos for appetizer was different, but tasty, chicken instead of beef with mango and peppers and a white cream sauce. Waitress was busy but very attentive to our table. Place gets crowded, additional parking across the street.

🌴 Caribbean Jack’s in Daytona Beach is a waterfront gem that delivers on every front. Nestled along the scenic Halifax River, the atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed—perfect for sunset dining or weekend unwinding. The food? Outstanding. From fresh seafood to tropical-inspired dishes like the shrimp and scallops in lobster sauce, every bite is a flavor-packed delight. The service is equally impressive, with attentive staff who make you feel like a regular. Add live music and glider booths overlooking the water, and you’ve got a dining experience that’s as spectacular as the view!

Caribbean Jack’s Review: A Second Chance Worth Taking! We had to give Caribbean Jack’s a second try, and I’m so glad we did! Let me start with the food—because wow, they really showed up this time. First off, the fried fish sandwich with pepper jack and bacon… let me just say, it’s absolutely next level. Crispy, flavorful, and the pepper jack gives it just the right kick. I’m still thinking about it. Then there’s the coconut crusted shrimp—literally to die for. Perfectly cooked, lightly sweet, and that crunchy coating? Chef’s kiss. And I can’t forget the peel and eat shrimp—a classic, but they make it special. The butter they serve with it tastes like melted gold. Rich, savory, and just so satisfying. Now… let’s talk dessert. The Bananas Foster—oh my god. The rum sauce alone is worth coming back for. Sweet, boozy, and full of flavor. Every bite was a perfect end to the meal. All in all, Caribbean Jack’s totally redeemed themselves and then some. The food hit all the right notes this time around. Definitely recommend giving them a shot (or a second shot if you weren’t sold the first time like us)!

We went for dinner, out on the patio. It was raining but it was so relaxing. Live music playing and very good food. Our hostess was awesome too. Very kind. Made the whole experience great. We celebrated that she just bought a house! Love this place. Will be back during BikeWeek.

Live music venue
Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, the Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Bar has been a waterfront staple since 1940. This three-story spot offers a variety of dishes including seafood and burgers, as well as a reggae bar with live music. Daytona Beach is renowned for its iconic beaches and rich auto racing history, but it also boasts new attractions, upscale lodging options, an active arts scene, and numerous outdoor activities.
Amazing Seafood with Beachfront Views! Dinner at Ocean Deck was unforgettable. We sat right on the sand with reggae music playing and the ocean breeze keeping us cool. The gator bites and fresh seafood were excellent, but what made it special was watching the sun sink into the horizon while we ate. The vibe was fun and relaxed—exactly what you want from a beachside restaurant.
Paula B — Google review
On Saturday, I went to The Ocean Deck Restaurant and Beach Bar. This is one of my go-to spots. I usually come here about once a month to enjoy lunch by the beach while listening to locals sing karaoke. Everyone is always so supportive, whether someone can sing or not, which makes the whole experience even more fun. The drinks are always great, and the vibe is just perfect. As for the food, we always order the wings and fries, they’re that good! I’ve never felt the need to try anything else because the wings hit every time. The best part, though, is that as soon as you step out, you have direct access to the beach. There’s nothing better than finishing a meal and walking straight onto the sand.
Chanel H — Google review
We went on a Sunday night and found a table outside by the beach. This restaurant gets 5 stars just for the location. You can hear the waves. There was reggae music from Esh x Schief and a laid-back, friendly crowd. We started with onion rings, crispy with a hint of coconut in the batter, and fried grouper bites that were golden, light, and full of flavor. Both came in casual baskets with sauces on the side. We split the famous Mahi-Mahi sandwich, flame-grilled and perfectly seasoned, served with pickles, onions, tartar sauce, and crispy fries. It was all great. To drink, we tried their Ocean Deck IPA: light-bodied with bright citrus, tropical fruit notes, and a clean finish, perfect for the beach setting. They don’t take reservations, but the service is quick, and both the upstairs A/C dining room and downstairs beachfront area are open late. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. Friendly people, good food, great music, and the sound of the surf. Recommended.
Joseph P — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit! The food was absolutely delicious — the crab cake and the shrimp with rice were amazing. The only downside was that my mocktail was brought to the table already spilled, so I had to wipe the glass and the table myself to clean it up. Other than that, everything was great!
Tetiana K — Google review
First time at Ocean deck was very pleased but absolutely love their smoked fish dip in their ahi tuna stack. Their gator bites are good, but what I really love most about this place is the Serene view of the ocean. The very Island interior decor gives us a comforting feeling and the service was phenomenal, provided by Lori. Thank you for keeping my table pre-busted, thank you for refilling my drinks when needed, thank you for coming back and asking my table after 2 minutes. If we were okay with our meals. You are a rockstar. I will be back just to see you
Tammy S — Google review
We walked over from the Comfort Inn and enjoyed a great meal. I had the Grilled Grouper. It was cooked perfectly! My wife enjoyed her Crab Cakes. That’s her standard seafood order. They were delicious also. It sits right on the beach so the views are great.
Kenzi B — Google review
Live music...ocean view from the inside..also could eat outside. The frozen drinks were so good I had to try mostly all of them. Hubby had fish and chips or fish and shrimp. And loved every bite. Im not a seafood lover so I had the nachos ..big portion, the chicken entree they had it was smothered in cheese and topped with bacon and their yacht club sandwich and ohh mmm geee it was so big!! And GOOD !! 20 OUT OF 10 me and mine will be back!!

Visiting Daytona Beach. Had dinner at Ocean Deck Restaurant. The restaurant from outside looks huge. I got inside and the main restaurant area is so small. The restaurant is very loud, wait staff literally running around, and there is a bar with a few tvs showing sports. I have never been to a restaurant that was this loud and had the wait staff running around like this. I found this experience unpleasant. The food was very good. I sat at the bar and Mary Ann was as nice as can be.

The carefully styled space creates an inviting and elegant ambiance, making it ideal for romantic evenings or special celebrations. With locations spanning different states and cities, Chart House has built a reputation for delivering top-quality food and service.
Had a wonderful time for dinner here, the food was delicious, the drinks were made great, and the dessert was tasty! If I had one complaint it would be we did have to wait for what felt like a bit too long to see ours server to take our drink orders and for the price of this place I would expect a bit more prompt attention. Overall though I would go again and would recommend it.
Steven H — Google review
Nice location. Food and service not so great. Austin our server didn’t offer or bring bread, all the other tables had bread brought out. Our table was “in the way” of traffic and everytime someone walked by they bumped the chair. The Kimchee Calimari was not anything kimchee, just fried, oily heavily breaded calimari and red peppers. Although they DO give a big portion. The spicey Ahi was ok. Really bland and not enough creamy wasabi. Couldn’t even cut the bok choy with the butter knife I had. And rice was plain sticky rice. No flavor. The stuffed sole was a nice presentation and my husband loved it. Probably won’t go back.
Cory P — Google review
Me, my wife and best friends ate there Sunday evening. It was 730 and the place was pretty empty. Our server was Emily she was pleasant and professional. She took the time to bring my friend 2 samples of wine so he could make a choice. 👍. We all ordered a cocktail 🍸and they were good. I was the only one to order an appetizer and selected the beet salad. The portion was large and very good and beautifully plated. My friend ordered the 9oz Fillet Mignon and Emily said that the chimicurrie butter came on the side. The steak arrived with the butter poured over the steak and he did not enjoy the flavor. This dish was sent back👎. His wife ordered the Halibut and the fish was over cooked and dry 👎. This dish was sent back. My wife and I ordered the Seabass and lobster risotto and it was cooked to perfection 👍. At this point we had finished our first round of cocktails and it took us about 10 minutes or more to flag down someone to find Emily so we could order some more beverages 👎. The refired steak came out and my friend thought that they only cooked a 7oz vs the 9oz that he ordered👎. His wife's Halibut came out cooked to perfection 👍. . So then this woman came over to our table and apologized for the mistakes with the food. We had to ask her who she was. She identified herself as the manager. She was poorly underdressed for a high end restaurant like the chart house. There was no offer like free desert or drinks to make up for the poor performance in the kitchen. We then ordered two desserts that we shared. The chocolate lava cake, and the Mud pie which were great. Overall we were surprised by some of the cooking and service, It's not like the restaurant was busy, it was pretty empty. It is a beautiful restaurant with great views. I would give it another try, everyone has a bad day.
PAUL S — Google review
I love the Chart House. The food, the atmosphere, is spot on. Only doing this visit was due to 12 guests waiting 1.5 hours for food. We arrived at 5pm, ordered at 6pm and served at 7:30pm - but I had a wonderful birthday dinner and loved all of it. A couple ladies weren't pleased but the staff made it right in the end. That's what matters. It was a great birthday visit for me.
Diana S — Google review
*Updated* This was our second visit to Chart House in the last month—and if that doesn’t say enough, let me make it clearer: this place is exceptional. Every dish we’ve had has been a knockout, and the only downside is that I always forget to take photos before diving in. That’s just how good the food is. We live our lives on the water, and with my husband also being a commercial fisherman, it’s not easy to impress us when it comes to seafood. But Chart House has no trouble making our mouths water. They absolutely nail it. We started with the crab cakes and coconut shrimp—both 5/5 and full of flavor. For dinner, the NY strip with mashed potatoes and horseradish sour cream was cooked to perfection, and the Key West grouper was melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service is consistently top-tier. The male waitstaff has been phenomenal—attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Management is clearly involved and makes sure everything runs smoothly. You feel well taken care of from start to finish. Chart House has definitely earned its spot as one of our go-to restaurants. Highly recommend.
Haley S — Google review
If you have Landry’s Select Club rewards like us, you too can enjoy the downstairs bar area at a couch table, enjoy gourmet apps, a glass of wine and a draft beer, and good service for cheap. On this visit, we met up with friends who are also Select Club members and had a birthday reward as well. Fitting the four of us at the cute little cocktail low-top by the couch was tight, especially when switching out multiple plates for appetizers. Our server was excellent with timing the food and drinks, taking away empties, and letting us enjoy our fellowship without being intrusive. I ordered the Thai lettuce wraps and the ahi tuna wontons. The wraps are a little messy on a small table, but the variety of sauces was delicious, if not a little salty for my taste. The sashimi-style tuna apps were also delicious. Washed it all down with a Goose Island IPA draft and we’re good to go. Afterwards, we went out on the dock to take pictures by the water with the sun setting in the background. Good photos. I recommend Chart House in Daytona Beach, especially for Landry’s Select Club members to enjoy their birthday rewards for good value.
Zik J — Google review
Foodies, listen up — Chart House in Daytona Beach isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. The kind of place where the view, the food, and the vibe all come together so perfectly that you’re already planning your next visit before dessert even hits the table. We kicked things off with the Kimchi Calamari and, honestly, it set the bar high. Crispy, a little spicy, packed with flavor — it’s the appetizer that makes you lean over the table and say, “Oh, you HAVE to try this.” Then came the mains. The Chicken Balsamico is basically comfort food in a tuxedo — romano crusted, topped with artichoke bruschetta and pesto butter, sitting pretty on Florentine mash. The Hawaiian NY Strip Medallions were like a tropical vacation on a plate: pineapple ginger marinade, mango sticky rice, soy glaze, fruit salsa… sweet, savory, and downright addictive. And the Slow Roasted Prime Rib? Classic, juicy, perfectly cooked — the kind of dish that makes you want to slow clap for the chef. Even the salads pull their weight here — Caesar, chopped, or salad bar, they’re all fresh enough to make you feel slightly less guilty about that second entrée. We wrapped things up with Crème Brulee (crackly top, velvety inside) and Lemon Sorbet (bright, refreshing, palate-cleansing perfection). Add in stellar service and those floor-to-ceiling Halifax River views, and it’s the kind of night that lingers with you. Pro tip: come hungry, bring friends who love to share plates, and don’t skip dessert. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later. 🍽️🔥

Fresh Box Seafood is a popular restaurant in Daytona Beach, known for its delicious seafood offerings. The restaurant offers family-style steam trays and a wide variety of takeout-style seafood items. Customers can choose to dine in and enjoy the relaxed setting or opt for takeout. The menu includes options like deluxe crab boil, with generous portions at affordable prices. While the seasoning can be heavy, customers can request lighter seasoning.
amazing seafood at an amazing price! absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! service was fast and friendly. Definitely will be stopping here everytime I visit Daytona

Crabs and shrimp were small, with a strange taste. I received a small serving of potatoes . They gave me one extra crab, I guess, to fill up the plate. Looks can be deceiving. If you really have a need to fix your crave and you don't have any other options, hit them up. I paid with debit/ but they accept foodstamps
Rashena F — Google review
Their crabs were as delicious as all of the many recommendations. I got 2 dozen to travel back home (hour and a half drive) with. The garlic butter seasoned blue crabs were large and meaty and at a great price! I WILL certainly be frequenting them! You better get them early as they sell out fast!

I love Fresh box Seafood!! Haven’t been disappointed yet! Owner and workers are friendly and the service and food is always on point! I usually do the family tray which is always delicious but sometimes I buy the shrimp/ crabs live and cook on my own. It’s always good either way. I recently got the crabs live (extra large) and they were full of meat and the quality was good( as always)!! Last pic is the Deluxe family tray which was delicious!!I wouldn’t skip on Fresh box seafood!! They are the ONLY place I go to in Daytona!! ❤️☺️

This is a take -out only place that serves up some of the best shrimp boils around. My recommendation is to get the large crab as the meat is amazing and add both eggs (2 for $1) and their sausage. Corn on in the cob and potatoes are usually included. The shrimp is good but the crab, especially the large, is off the charts. We could finish the food but wow - really good!

The food was amazing! This is my first time going as I found this gem on TikTok. Plenty of food well seasoned the atmosphere was clean did not have a horrible smell. Everything was perfectly on point. Definitely would highly recommend!

This is a true take out spot. The service is quick, and the food is plenty and had the way you order it. I had a great experience and really enjoyed the food.
Chris S — Google review
Today I order a large dozen of crabs (only). I usually order the crab tray that comes with small/medium crabs. I was charged 68.00 for a dozen of large crabs. When I open my crab tray it was small/ medium crabs. No large! I specifically asked for large crabs. If they didn’t have them I would have just got my usual crab tray order for 21.00 bucks! Very dissatisfied!!

VIEW!!!! OH MY!! My husband and I ate breakfast here on a Wednesday morning in February. Lots of tables outside with an amazing view. Did I say view? Kimberly waited on us and did an amazing job and brightened our day with her smile. My husband ordered coffee and they brought a whole pot with a nice little pitcher of cream. We had Chicken and waffles which were delicious. And we had the breakfast platter meal with eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes, but we had grits with it instead of potatoes. Wonderful experience! We definitely will be back.

We ate most of our meals here when we stayed for 3 days and two nights, because everything was delicious and the view was great! They took great care of me on my birthday and brought me yummmy chocolate torte cake too! A great getaway, highly recommend!

Visiting Daytona Beach. Restaurant inside the Hard Rock Hotel. Dinner was delicious (grouper with succotach and grilled asparagus). Dessert was very disappointing (key lime pie tart). I did not taste the tartness of the key lime flavor at all. For what I paid, I expected better. Service was good. I sat outside. The ambiance was nice. There was a live band playing.

The food was delicious! I got the salmon and husband got grouper. We also ordered Red Velvet Cheesecake and best thing we have ever eaten! Atmosphere is cool too!

What a cute little place on the water with breathtaking views. Food was phenomenal. We got blackened fish tacos and grouper sandwich . Yummy. Definitely recommend. Jody and Jeff are the nicest people with awesome service. Thanks so much.

We went here for the first time today and absolutely loved it! We were seated very quickly and the service was awesome. They have a very good cocktail menu with lots of great drinks to choose from, and the food was also very good! The views are also really great here, I highly recommend checking it out!!! Bartender & Servers are really great!!

The food was excellent. I highly recommend the crab and corn dip. Everyone in my group was happy with their food. We would definitely eat here again. Our server, Cody, was excellent and very attentive. Great atmosphere inside and amazing views outside. We came back the next evening to have a drink and wasn't happy with the service at the outside bar. The bartender specifically. Maybe she had a bad day or maybe she was filling in as a bartender and didn't know what to do? .. 🤷‍♀️ whatever it was, I left without buying anything and she didn't care. Very poor customer relations, poor delivery of services. A little bar staff training could easily make this a 5 star spot.

Aunt Catfish's On the River is a popular waterfront restaurant located in Port Orange, Florida. The casual cafe offers a wide range of Southern favorites, including fresh seafood and mouthwatering plates of catfish. The staff is known for their friendly and accommodating service, adding to the overall experience. In addition to delicious food, diners can enjoy various amenities such as an outdoor playground and long docks to explore while waiting for a table.
Aunt Catfish’s on the River is a lively, welcoming spot that blends Southern charm with riverfront views. The atmosphere is laid-back and family-friendly, and the unlimited fresh-baked cinnamon rolls alone are worth the trip. Soft, warm, and served with cinnamon butter, they hit the table as soon as you sit down. I ordered the fried clam strip basket with fries, and it was excellent- crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The fries were golden and seasoned well. Service was fast and friendly, and staff checked in often without being overbearing. One of the highlights here is the signature “fixin’s bar,” which offers a wide range of Southern sides and condiments to round out your meal. Whether you’re just off the beach or looking for a relaxed dinner by the river, Aunt Catfish’s is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to.

An Absolute Must-Visit on the River! My family and I had two fantastic experiences at Aunt Catfish's this weekend, and we can't recommend it enough! We stopped in for lunch yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed their delicious seafood – fresh and perfectly prepared. Today, we returned for Sunday brunch, and despite how busy it was, the entire operation was incredibly well-managed. The pancake and omelet stations were absolutely awesome, creating custom delights right before our eyes. Our server both days was great, attentive and friendly, making our meals even more enjoyable. And can we talk about the cinnamon buns? They are, without a doubt, the best I've ever had – so good, we even took some home! Beyond the incredible food and service, the atmosphere is unbeatable. The beautiful views of the river are a highlight, there's a cool child play area that kept the little ones entertained, and the live music added a wonderful touch to our brunch. Pro-tip: Definitely make a reservation for Sunday brunch – it gets busy for a good reason! Aunt Catfish's on the River is a gem, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

A Must-Visit for Families! What a fantastic find! My family and I were looking for a spot with authentic Southern cooking, and Aunt Catfish's On the River exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the views of the Halifax River are just beautiful. But the real standout was the service. Our server was absolutely phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and incredibly patient and great with our kids, which made the whole dining experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable for us parents. The food was out of this world. The catfish was perfectly fried, the cheese grits were creamy, and the cinnamon rolls are worth the trip alone! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. You can tell they put a lot of love into their food. We left with full bellies and big smiles. If you're in the Port Orange area, do yourself a favor and stop by. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Florida!

What can't you say about Aunt Catfish's! Their Cinnamon Rolls are to die for as always and everything else was good as usual. Even though it was a bit warm we opted to sit outside for a 10 min vs 40 min wait. Fans were on and in shade so it wasn't bad at all and the girls (grand-daughters) could walk on dock where we could keep an eye on them. I had the shrimp and sweet potatoes Fries with a lobster tail add on. Shrimp & fries were hot but the tail was cold. Sent back to heat up and they insisted on making a new one that took forever to get. (My only complaint as I was almost halfway done with my meal before it came, the reason for only 4 stars) Hubby and kids had chicken that was cooked to perfection. Waitress was very attentive, drinks filled before asking. Got a dozen Cinnamon Rolls to go for breakfast or snack the next couple days. Yummy! 15 sec in microwave almost like you just got them. Will be back next trip as always! Enjoy when you go!

Interesting place. Read about before I came, and it was exactly as I hoped. I had a fish sandwich... Never heard of unicorn fish... Never. It was good. White had shrimp. The sides were interesting and good too. I loved watching the oldie crowd (I'm getting there). Some old dudes cracking piles of sides on their plates. Very funny. Staff good. Bathrooms are crazy tiny. I mean tiny. Did I say tiny?

Aunt Catfish's is located on the river in Daytona Beach. It is a beautiful location. This is a very popular restaurant. They have an all you can eat food bar that is unique but very tasty. I ordered the grilled Unicorn fish and clam chowder. The chowder and the tarter sauce was excellent but the fish was a little tough. Overall I recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future

We were visiting and my siblings wanted to try alligator, We found this place. We were so surprised you had to call to get seats but once we got in there and ate, we totally understand why! This place was AMAZING! From getting calling in to get on the wait list, getting our table, getting our food, EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! I got their coconut shrimp that comes with a citrus dipping sauce (it reminded me of sweet and sour sauce with a nice punch of citrus at the end) with sweet potatoes and got their fluff. I can say this, put the fluff with the coconut shrimp, OMG. I was in 7th Heaven. And the sweet potatoes fries were AMAZING! They had the perfect crunch to them as well as seasoning!!! Our waitress, we called her cousin 😉 was the absolute BEST! She kept checking on us and making sure we were happy campers 😂 Also the cinnamon rolls, ohhh lawd, I am gaining weight just thinking about them bad boys, they were sooo DELICIOUS!!! If we get to make a trip back to Florida, we will DEFINITELY be stopping back in here. Sorry didn't get pics of the other plates or the cinnamon rolls but TRUST ME, call them and get in there and try this place, you will not be disappointed!!!!

This was a very busy restaurant when we arrived and it had a 2-hour wait on a Thursday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. luckily we had a reservation and we're seated promptly. The food was just okay nothing spectacular. There was lots of tourists there and this is a kind of tourist attraction restaurant with the camp fixings and the cinnamon buns that go with the entrees. If we ever go again soon we'll go for lunch instead of dinner.

Hulls Seafood Restaurant is a popular seafood restaurant in Ormond Beach that offers fresh and quality seafood to locals and visitors. The restaurant is owned by a former fishing charter captain and is known for its excellent service and selection of fish.
Over Heard about Hull’s from another guest telling someone about a restaurant that had great seafood and was local. When we travel we prefer to try local places v chain restaurants. They did not disappoint. There was a wait but we were able to grab a drink while we waited. Service was pretty good. They were quite busy. The food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a local place to eat.

Busy place, but worth the wait. Laid back atmosphere. We had gator bites, shark bites, calamari, chowder fries, crab bites, Gouda Mac n cheese, rock shrimp with hush puppies. Food was delicious, we also had the black cherry lemonade and corona. Great service.

The food and service is good. John, manager on duty, helped us and therefore writing a change suggested. The young lady said that we could not be seated until entire party of 11 in but our table was set and ready and a couple of the ladies are always late so should not be our fault to have to wait. I understand later or losing some time but customer service is what it should be about and not table turnover time. Also, if a person or 5 or 6 people wait for rest of party we may order more drinks which is more profitable to company. The hostess followed rules, so finally John came to our rescue and allowed us to sit. PLEASE upper management consider having some flexibility for the hostess to make her own call based on current status of dining etc and general customer service to us as potential repeat customers as it was a turn off to our entire group. Thanks for listening.

I ordered the Black & Blue (blackened swordfish with blue cheese butter & caramelized onions) it was delicious! This is the best fish I have ate while I have been in Daytona. Also the drunken sailor drink, lives up to its name. Overall it was definitely money well spent! The prices are very reasonable and cheaper than most other restaurants in the area.

Absolutely LOVED our first visit to Hull's this evening with my husband on our annual vacation to Daytona. Our server, Angella, was super attentive, kind, & helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant; You could choose to eat inside or outside. We ordered Fried Provolone Triangles for appetizers (very good). For our entrees, I ordered fresh catch Shark (I requested grilled) and my husband went with Fried Grouper. Both entrees came with two hush puppies and two sides. I chose Fresh Veggies & Florida Blue Crab Gumbo while my husband chose Red Potatoes & Coleslaw. Both meals also came with Tarter Sauce and Cocktail Sauce. Our food was fresh and all cooked to perfection. I absolutely loved my meal choices! It was my first time trying shark and a blue crab gumbo. I would definitely order my dish again! Portion size and price were very fair! Hull's will definitely be a stop we dine at every year on vacation from here on out! Highly recommend to all seafood lovers!

We were expecting more from other guests reviews. We started with the "The Undecided " soup which was an interesting combo of New England Clam Chowder and a Spicy Fish Chowder" which was good. A dozen oysters was next and they were a good size too. One entree was the "Local Golden Tile" which is seasonal and came highly recommended by our server. The "Local Golden Tile" was just average and not something we would order again and the server didn't ask for our thoughts. We were seated in the back end by the server stand and the deafening sound of servers dumping dishes in the pan didn't make our experience any better. Parking is limited in the front and valet in the back so parking can be a challenge. Not sure we'll be back but based on the other reviews and if there's a spot to park out front, a quiter table to sit at, we may stop in again for another try.

We stopped here for lunch on Sunday. It was early (~11:00am) so the restaurant was pretty empty. People started to come in around 11:45. We had fried gator bites, florida blue crab soup (it was really good), and local red snapper (fried). The fish was very fresh that you can taste the sweetness. It was also not heavily seasoned (with the fish being so fresh, you don't need to cover up with the seasoning). The fried gator bites were on par, not oily and not salty. The blackberry lemonade (cocktail) was on the bland side. Probably should have gone with the red sangria. They have a seafood market attached to the restaurant which was fully stocked with so much fresh seafood (I forgot to take pictures of the seafood; will do it next time). Will definitely come back to try more of their dishes.

I wish I would have gone here earlier in my trip, because I probably would have gone every night! Parking is limited. There is valet parking, but I'm weird about someone else driving my truck. I parked in a free public parking lot a block away, which was beautiful by the way. There was a 30 minute wait, but I was by myself, so I found a place at the bar. The bartenders were friendly. I enjoyed the beer, mixed drinks, New Smyrna oysters, swordfish dish, and for dessert, you must get some blueberry hush puppies! I will definitely be back in the area, so I will definitely be back to eat here. I also can't wait to shop in the market! 🤤🤤🤤

Nestled along the Halifax River and Tomoka State Park, RiverGrille on the Tomoka is a sprawling restaurant known for its scenic riverfront deck and Florida seafood with a Cajun twist. The menu features delectable dishes like Jambalaya and Shrimp & Grits, complemented by fresh cocktails. Visitors rave about the fantastic views from the outdoor seating area and pier, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious food while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
I am impressed with this establishment. Amazing huge parking lot. I parked all the way on the back to enjoy my walk. Looks like a dock that was made into a restaurant huge alligator outside greeting its visitors. Inside is very relaxing atmosphere with great decorative details. The most freshest food ever. Great variety of drinks which I had few of those. For two people the bill was about 100$ for this place I agree it’s so worth it.

We had a great experience at RiverGrille on the Tomoka! Be prepared.. on weekends, especially with a larger group, there’s usually a bit of a wait (we had about 40–50 minutes for a party of 10), but the atmosphere makes it easy to pass the time. We grabbed drinks and an appetizer from the bar and enjoyed them out on their beautiful boardwalk, which overlooks the water. It was a relaxing start to the evening and the kids had a blast feeding the fish and even spotting a gator! Once seated, the restaurant handled our group of 8 adults and 2 kids with ease. The service was friendly and efficient. The food and drinks were solid overall. Flavorful and fresh. Just a heads-up: some dishes that were labeled as “mild” packed more heat than expected, like the wings and jambalaya. So if you’re spice-sensitive, it might be worth confirming with the server first. All in all, a fun, family-friendly spot with great views, a lively vibe, and accommodating staff. We’d definitely come back!

Adult party of two. Both entries were very good. I had the bourbon salmon and it was really good. Their hush puppies were the best I've ever had and serve with a dipping sauce instead of butter. Waitress had a dry attitude but she was friendly enough. The atmosphere was unique. Overall the staff were friendly. Nice scenery as well.

This restaurant is in a beautiful location right by the water. The service was great and my mojito was delicious! The only reason why I am giving them a 4 on the food is because one of the meals wasn't on point (Key Lime Chicken & Shrimp). The portion was very small and the rice and beans tasted odd. Nevertheless, I still recommend this place because the other meals were delicious, but keep in mind that the portions can be a bit small. Enjoy!

We had a waiter named Nick and he was adorable and super attentive. We set Outdoors on the massive multi-level deck and enjoyed the breeze. I had the fish and chips which was not too heavy and a side of hush puppies which were probably the best I've ever had. My mom had the grilled fish Tacos in the red beans and rice and enjoyed everything. Will definitely be back here the next time we're in town!
Molly A — Google review
The River Grille on the Tomoka is a sprawling restaurant with a big riverfront deck and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It specializes in Florida seafood with a Cajun twist and has a fun, lively ambiance. The outdoor deck is dog-friendly, and even on a rainy day we stayed dry thanks to the powered shades they lowered to block the rain. The only downside is the noise from the nearby bridge, when motorcycles go by, it really carries across the deck. The inside has a rustic, sawmill feel with driftwood chandeliers, life preservers on the wall, and a small gift shop near the entrance with T-shirts and other items. There’s also a large bar area and multiple dining rooms, plus a big parking lot, so space isn’t an issue. The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and had good energy. We started with the Onion Strings, marked as a “Tomoka Favorite.” They were tasty, with a light batter, but a little greasy—best eaten with a fork unless you don’t mind messy fingers. For drinks, I asked about the rotating beer selection and they had a Marzen on tap, which was served nice and cold at the right temperature. The wine list is short, but they do have a set of cocktails. For mains, I had the fish sandwich with the catch of the day which was trout, cooked Cajun-style. The whole filet, skin-on, came on the bun with lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. It was a lot of food, though I personally wasn’t a fan of the skin being left on for a sandwich. My wife ordered the Smokehouse Sampler with ribs, wings, and pulled pork. She chose the Carolina Gold sauce, which leaned very sweet, more so than vinegary. The ribs were a little tough, but the portions were generous and the flavors solid. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I think they usually have live music on weekends, though the rain canceled that during our visit. Overall, the River Grille offers a fun setting, solid food, and good service. It’s especially worth it when the weather is nice and you can take advantage of the river views. For me, it’s a 4/5 stars: recommended, with just a few small complaints holding it back from perfect.

What a great dining experience outside on their huge covered deck overlooking the Tomoka River. Thanks Kylie for the Fish n Chips recommendation it was delicious and enormous.

Love sitting outside along the river. The food is always good. I've had several seafood dishes, clam chowder, gator, pork sandwich, etc. and they were all delicious. The only item I didn't like was a side of green beans, they were over cooked and pretty soft, but they always provide great service so I'm sure if I had asked for something else they would have readily done it. But there is always plenty of food since the servings are always a decent size. I love the Cajun seasoning, it has great flavor without bring overly spicy.

This small restaurant is popular with locals for lunch. A fairly good menu with varied choices of good food and low prices. We found a menu on line as we didn't see one in the shop. Oh, and there is ample parking beside the restaurant with easy access. Food is ordered at the counter and it will be delivered to you when it is ready. Our group of ten got there at noon on Tuesday and all ordered food. We managed to get three small tables together. Our foods came out soon enough and the server was as nice as she was helpful. The place got really busy and folks were lined up to place orders as there is but one person taking orders and payment. Go early and you will surely enjoy dining there.

December 2021: It never gets old when you give reviews of places that are consistently good visit after visit. On this trip I dined at Bay St Seafood twice…and everything is well prepared and served with a smile. I don’t need to give details because if you love seafood and especially their onion rings, you cannot go wrong here! December 2020: Tucked away off a little back street is the epitome of an “old school” seafood shack. I went with the Blackened Scallops, Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, and Pasta Salad. One plus was as this was my first visit also received a basket of DELICIOUS onion rings…on the house! The scallops…perfectly cooked and the blackened flavor was just the right amount of spice so as to not cover the scallops taste. The sides were good with the exception of the Mac & Cheese. If I lived in Daytona I would frequent this place…great food and service!

All I had was the shrimp. They somehow flatten it out but it is delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Very modest decor. I came from out of town and ate here 3 of the 4 nights. It was during the week but I never had to wait. The way the service greeted most customers seemed like they had multiple regulars. When I come back to Daytona I’ll be stopping by here.

Both times that I've been to Daytona Beach, I've eaten here at Bay Street Seafood. My dad and I were just about the only ones there at 2:30pm, so we ordered at the counter right away and sat ourselves on the patio. The Tuesday lunch special was 12 shrimp with fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw for $13ish. You can get the shrimp grilled, blackened, or fried. I asked if it was possible to get half and half, and they were sweet about allowing that. It was a good meal choice! Service was very friendly and quick. My shrimp were delicious. The grilled ones were well-seasoned, though a bit too salty. The fried ones were perfection and what I'd recommend that others order! Fries were crinkle cut and fine, though I didn't eat many as the shrimp and hush puppies filled me up. Great cocktail sauce! The only big critique I have is that when I went to use the restroom, I opened the door and a cockroach fell down from the door frame. Having lived in the South most of my life, I attributed that more to being in a warm climate by the water (cockroaches or "palmetto bugs" are pretty common), rather than a cleanliness issue. Enjoyed my lunch and would come back here when in Daytona Beach, as well as recommend it to others!

I came from NC for a family reunion and tried the hot honey wings with lemon pepper. They were amazing I literally came on a Friday night and went back Saturday for lunch and dinner to get those wings again. They were fresh, crispy, and delicious. All in all I definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Things have changed over the years so I’m updating my review to reflect the quality of service & the bait and switch of the menus. The menus should accurately reflect the current prices of the food. The food is still pretty good 8/10. The customer service has declined. Oh and the bathrooms are disgusting. It makes you question the overall hygiene/cleanliness of the restaurant. I really didn’t want to give a 3 star review because I’ve enjoyed this restaurant for 5 years, but I have to be honest.

Tucked away in a nondescript strip mall, Macker Seafood is a hidden gem that seafood lovers must discover. The vibe here is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
Such a great meal & experience! The owner was friendly and hospitable. We loved that he employs local fisherman to provide fresh (not frozen) catches. The fish was fresh-cut and cooked as you order. The fish/shrimp tacos were delicious! The hush puppies were okay compared to the rest of the meal, but the entire experience was so wonderful that it didn't take away from the meal.

I was very pleased with my dinner. The oysters was fresh and everything else was great. I wish prices were a little bit more affordable but hey seafood is not a cheap kind of food so I understand. The guy who took care of us was very attentive. The oysters had a happy hours and were super cheap at $1 a piece. Good place to get some seafood

I am from Missouri and every time my family and I travel to Florida we ALWAYS make sure to stop here at least once. Phenomenal food, super friendly staff, and the most adorable interior and exterior decorations. If you’re looking for a seafood place where you know everything is made fresh and in house, this is the place!!

4 Rivers Smokehouse is a popular Texas-style BBQ chain eatery located near the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering smoked meats, including 18-hour smoked brisket, pulled pork, and burnt ends. One of their signature dishes is the Six-Shooter, featuring baked cheese grits topped with pulled pork, coleslaw, jalapenos, and their special sauce. Visitors can also enjoy options like chicken, turkey, ribs, and more.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best BBQ I’ve had in Florida in years! The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, perfectly smoked with just the right amount of bark. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful, and the burnt ends were absolutely out of this world, tender, smoky, and caramelized to perfection. The cornbread was the perfect side: sweet, buttery, and comforting. From the first bite to the last, everything tasted like it came straight out of a BBQ lover’s dream. If you’re anywhere near Daytona Beach, do yourself a favor and stop at 4 Rivers, you won’t regret it! And! An added bonus! They serve Pepsi products!
Sam W — Google review
We are huge BBQ fans and this was our first time at 4 Rivers. I had the pulled chicken that was a little dry in spite of the sauce that was already on it. My green beans were excellent. My husband had the brisket and pulled pork and said that they were good, but what he really loved were the fresh French fries! We loved the atmosphere of the place; but I never saw anyone doing much clean up. The garbage can back by us was overflowing from the time we got there at 5:30 pm to the time we left at 8:30 pm. Overall, we would recommend giving this place a try!
Jennifer H — Google review
We decided to visit 4 Rivers to sample the Florida bbq scene. Everyone decided to try the brisket and ordered it moist. We also tried the fries, bbq beans and the macaroni and cheese. The service was very fast; our food was ready before we even sat down. The sandwiches were a decent size with about a 5 ounce cut of meat. The buns were cold but fresh, not toasted. The moist option was very fatty, every slice was roughly 40% fat. Worse, the predominant flavor of the brisket was salt with a hint of smoke. All of the sides were hot and fresh. We paid $56 for 3 sandwiches, 4 sides and 3 drinks.
Sue C — Google review
If you’re a barbecue lover, 4 Rivers Smokehouse is definitely worth a visit — but be prepared for a bit of a hit-or-miss experience. The pulled pork is the undeniable star of the show: tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoked, it’s everything you’d hope for in a Southern BBQ classic. 🍖🔥 On the other hand, the burnt ends didn’t quite hit the mark — they were a little underwhelming and lacked the rich, smoky depth you’d expect. The side dishes were also just okay, not bad but nothing memorable enough to rave about. What truly stood out, though, was the BBQ sauce — absolutely delicious! It’s tangy, sweet, and bold, tying everything together and making even the so-so bites taste better. Overall, 4 Rivers is a solid choice if you’re craving good barbecue, especially that pulled pork and signature sauce. With a few tweaks to consistency, it could easily go from “good” to “great.”
Aracelis S — Google review
If you’re anywhere near One Daytona, do yourself a favor and stop by 4 Rivers Smokehouse—this place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, rustic atmosphere and an incredibly friendly staff who are not only helpful but genuinely care about your experience. The restaurant is spotless, the vibe is inviting, and the service is top-notch. Now let’s talk about the food—the Smoked Brisket is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoked. You can taste the passion in every bite! What makes 4 Rivers even more special is their heart. Their mission to use God-given gifts to serve the local community truly shines through. Founded on faith and compassion, their story began as a BBQ ministry and has grown into a beloved restaurant with a big purpose. From supporting families in need to giving back to local charities, their impact goes far beyond the kitchen. Family owned. Locally made. Community focused. That’s the 4 Rivers way—and it shows. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, this is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Great BBQ right across the street from Daytona International Speedway. Pricing.is not bad either. Approx $15 per person with drinks and the food is great. They have 2 BBQ sauces. Their regular which is a little sweet and the spicy one which is also very good. Probably a 4 out of 10 on the heat scale. Both were excellent.

The staff for awesome and friendly the service was awesome and great but when we got our food it was more cold than hot. But when I did the survey they got back to me instantly and made it right so I'm impressed about that and I will try it again

Arepita Beach is a Venezuelan restaurant with delicious food and great views. The menu has a variety of different items, all made fresh to order. The restaurant is casual, good for groups and has TV, but also offers healthy options and vegan options.
If you eat here go upstairs and enjoy the view! Food is very good, drinks are good, atmosphere is very nice. Highly recommend. I got the arepita vegano with Papelón con limón.

Uhm AMAZING. The empanadas were so good. Not greasy at all!! And i had a CHICHA drink. That was filling by itself. And then i ordered something that was delicious. It had plantains beans chicken and cheese. Check the pictures. They have a second floor, which you can look over the river. So good! Friendly staff, and it was my first time. I will be going back again to try other items because I am a foodie.

Absolutely delicious, authentic food with big portions and full of flavor. Simple ingredients seasoned and cooked to perfection. I wish we had something like this back home.
Rachel C — Google review
Got the arepita with the shredded beef. It had so much flavor! Very well cooked. Black beans had a good flavor as well. Plantains cooked well. Barely any cheese.... like comically. For $14 you think they could add enough cheese for the dish. It was on the show Diners, drive in and Dives!! Recommended

After a long day at Daytona Beach, there’s no better place to go to than to the rooftop of this restaurant. The food was delicious and I had some sangria with an amazing view. Very happy this place exists.

Empanadas (cheese) and Patacon (beef) were amazing . Highly recommend if you’re in the area of Daytona Beach.
Zandra A — Google review
The tequeños were perfect—thick, crispy, and filled with plenty of cheese. The arepas were amazing: large, thin, and super crispy. We ordered the Santa Rita: one with delicious grilled beef, and another with roasted chicken, lots of cheese, and pico de gallo. We also got one with asado negro, which comes with fried cheese—absolutely amazing. Without a doubt, one of the best Venezuelan food spots I’ve tried here in the U.S.
Maria V — Google review
So here goes. As usual, I'm always blunt and honest. The restaurant is on the first floor, and it's confusing as to what to do. There is limited signage. You order at the counter, and then you can sit. Food will be brought to you. There is limited seating on the first floor. There is a long staircase upstairs that leads to additional limited seating. After ordering we waiting almost an hour for food. We were told that there was a fire in the kitchen. However, there were tables around us being served fairly quickly. I ordered something that I was unclear about. However, it was good. The empanadas are excellent. Even though we waited longer than we should have, the food was great quality. Our table was dirty when we sat, and it took 30 mins or more before it was wiped. It was not fully cleaned but just wiped down. So, the food is delicious. The service and wait was very frustrating. The decor is very nice and fits the location well. While it was great food, I won't be back because of service and lack of communication.

Crabby Joe's Deck & Grill is a family-friendly seafood spot located right on the pier, offering casual fare such as coconut shrimp and po boys in a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this full-service restaurant has hot meals to keep you sustained through a day of fishing or sightseeing. Kids will love the specialty pancakes and lunch specials while enjoying the wide ocean view.
We had a great dinner tonight. The crab cakes were fabulous as were the fried grouper and shrimp. We are native Floridians and the crab cakes were some of the best we’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was open and carefree with wonderful service from Veronica. We were waited on almost immediately and received our food piping hot within 15 mins of our order. Veronica was very attentive despite having several other tables she was waiting on. I highly recommend eating here.

I have loved Crabby Joe’s for years, and tonight was no exception. The view, atmosphere, and Crabby Joe’s Lager were perfect as usual. Our fish tacos and hot wings were excellent, and the side of fresh green beans were worthy of a five-star restaurant. Most notable, however, was the exceptional service. Our server, Kim, was amazing and made our special evening complete! Thank you!!!

We always eat here when we come down. This is a neighborhood staple for us. As usual the food was spectacular. I got the Cajun shrimp basket and my boyfriend got the shrimp and grits both were amazing. I honestly ended up eating a lot of his shrimp and grits because they were that good. The Bloody Mary or “mother Mary” is 100% worth it it was delicious. My two friends got the key lime chicken and the fish n chips - both were great! We also got the coconut shrimp and gator bites as an appetizer. Everything on the menu here is great. Our server Jackie was super nice & made sure we were checked on and taken care of. The food came out fast and hot!! We spent about $20-$40 a person because we wanted to try a lot of different things. But one portion will suffice if you’re hungry. We will be back thank you so much!!

Covered deck with open air dining overlooking the ocean. We had the Cod Rueben and Hamburger with fries which was very good. Friendly, energetic atmosphere with great seafood selections. Service was efficient with little wait time. If you love eating outside with a gorgeous ocean view this spot is for you.

We went here for our last night of vacation and we must say it did NOT disappoint!! The food, service and view was wonderful! I had the Cajun seasoned crab leg dinner and it was delicious! My boyfriend had the grilled chicken sandwich (he doesn’t eat seafood) and he said his was also great! The ocean picture was our view from the table, so beautiful! We will come back again when we return to Daytona!

Cracked Egg Diner is a vibrant and popular spot in Daytona Beach Shores, known for its homestyle breakfast and lunch options. Families and groups with kids frequent this colorful diner to enjoy classic omelets, Belgian waffles, homemade apple fritters, Texas chili, and burgers. Located across the street from the beach, it's a convenient stop for a delicious meal before or after enjoying the nearby park and shoreline.
There are a couple of good places to eat in the Shores and this is one of them. The food is what you’d expect from a good diner, the service is fast and friendly, and although a little dated the location has local charm and you can tell it’s a community touchstone. I think one thing that makes it special is that it’s a family restaurant and when you walk in and get a friendly and energetic welcome from the owner who clearly does this out of love for the place and the community, then that’s a business I like to support. I’ve already eaten here quite a few times and even if it isn’t fancy, it is good. As a final comment, it’s incredibly affordable which is a blessing in our current economy.

I love this place. It is a classic diner experience! We ate three meals and one takeout here, which tells you that I think it’s a winner. The servers were great and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. The food was very good and consistent. Highly recommend!

We were on our family vacation in Daytona and wanted to go to a diner that wasn't IHOP or Denny's. We found this place and loved it! Food was delicious and full of flavor. That is one of our spots now when we are in Daytona. Thank you for serving us.

Great breakfast place within walking distance from our hotel! It's a good thing we walked because we ate so much we needed to burn some calories on the walk back! Lol! Our server was super friendly, the food was plentiful, and the prices reasonable! A definite must try if you are in the area! Super family friendly!

I was on my way back to my hotel from my jet skiing when I spotted the diner. Inside the diner is a fifties theme playing fifties music which I liked. Mariah my waitress was very friendly. The food was awesome there. Everything came just as I ordered it. I would definitely recommend the cracked egg diner.

If you looking for a delicious place to eat some breakfast this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I definitely would recommend and will be coming back!
Amanda D — Google review
We stopped in for brunch at The Cracked Egg Diner on South Atlantic Avenue-and we left genuinely impressed. From the street it looks like a cozy hole‑in‑the‑wall, but inside is surprisingly spacious, bright, and clean-a sunlit diner that feels welcoming . Service was excellent, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived . For my meal, I chose the Eggs Royale: poached eggs and smoked salmon atop an English muffin, served with crispy hash browns. It’s a standout twist on classic Eggs Benedict-rich, satisfying, and well‑executed under their hollandaise . My wife opted for the pancakes and bacon: the pancakes were impressively large, fluffy, and delicious-a perfect brunch complement. The menu here offers a broad range: from griddle favorites and classic Benedicts, to homemade apple fritters, omelets, sandwiches and more . It caters well to different tastes-whether you’re in the mood for seafood‑topped eggs, comforting breakfast staples, or a hearty sandwich. Bottom line: The Cracked Egg Diner is more than it appears from the outside-a spacious, bright spot with thoughtful service, creative menu options, and solid brunch classics. I’ll definitely make it a regular stop next time I’m in town.
