Smotrych Canyon - fantastic site for mesmerizing views. One of most popular places for rock-climbing and rafting in Ukraine. At places walls are as high as 160 feet. It especially looks gorgeous from hot air balloons which fly here quite often.

The whole canyon or gorge is amazing. But most of it is unused the way it could be. Be prepared for a lot of pebble roads, unmarked paths that lead to nowhere and no sigs whatsoever.

It is picturesq canyon around the ancient town that is situated at the peninsula. The depth of the canyon is about 200 metres. There are two bridges through which you may get to the ancient town. One of them connects the ancient town with a castle and the other bridge connects the ancient town with the modern part of the town Kamenets-Podilsky.

The promenade on top the canyon walls could be special attraction with spectacular views. Instead it's just uneasy trail with rare glimpses through chaotic bushes.
