This was sooooo good 🤩 the food is delicious, even the herbs in early May taste like it was July. I’m genuinely impressed and in love with the place and cuisine.

This restaurant is beautifully situated in what seems to be an old sanitarium. With the option to sit and eat outside in a beautiful garden setting or inside a house that is a blast from the past (1800's-ish). We sat in a room that could have been a bath house with a fully functioning tub. The look was incredible. The service staff was kind and professional. They did not shy away from sharing their recommendations. This made everything so easy and comfortable. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. This is a great place for celebrations or just spending time with that special person in your life.

Great food, amazing mushroom soup (seasonal, though) and a great environment. All of that at a fairly reasonable price, too, makes this an easy recommendation. Order some of the more traditional dishes, not just the kebab! Only minor issue was with wasps. They should really use wasp traps rather than just trying to distract them with more food a little further away.

Truly inspired decor, great service, perfectly cooked dishes to the highest standard. I went here with a friend and then also ordered delivery - both were perfect experiences. I had ordered the head chef's cookbook all the way from USA (Seattle) as he is the only one I could find who wrote down some of the traditional Odessa dishes - not Ukrainian, not Russian, not Jewish - special to Odessa. The restaurant itself perfectly captures all the beautiful parts of soviet children's summers at the "dacha": summer home with garden. Freshest ingredients, cooked with love and perfect balance of seasoning (often lacking around Ukraine). Amidst choices of poor impressions of Thai, Japanese, Italian and French cuisine abounding in Odessa, do not miss this gem of a restaurant cooking the food that Odessa and Ukraine does best!

The food was delicious. We enjoyed all the food we had: pickled vegetables, forshmak, stuffed fish, chicken, etc. We know this is one of the best places to eat in Odessa. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing at the begining. We were seated at a table outside without lighting. For a long time, no one served. However, when they gave changed the table and the waiter, things improved.

A classic Odessa experience. Nothing more relaxing than great food in the outdoor garden. Live music and good service. Menu is updated regularly to keep fresh vegetables and fruits. Most recently they added a bucket of local mussels in garlic sauce. The kebabs and kambala/flounder are always reliable choices year round.

I visited this restaurant, where to start.. the staff were very friendly, spoke perfect English and very knowledgeable. I started with a coffee while I made my choice. I started with the avocado salad, which was delicious. I followed with the duck, the meat melted in my mouth, the apple and cucumber added to the dish. For dessert I had the chocolate fondant, the center was soft and the caramel mouse and ice cream were amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food very good, presentation fantastic as was the service. Our congratulations to the restaurant for employing Sergey, a great, enthusiastic advocate happy to converse in Russian and English. Great atmosphere with a pianist playing in the courtyard and if compared to other European restaurants great value for money. I wouldn't go if very hungry however as portions are quite small. Again in comparison to other good restaurants.

Unique deco, perfect service and impressive food make this place a sure bet! The cook is successfully revisiting some classics like Tuna tartare or Vittelo Tonnato... There is definitely a great cook here and we will be back.

If you’re looking for traditional food, this is your place. The dishes we had were outstanding, so delicious and fresh.

If you want to experience true local cuisine, then this is the place to be. Entering inside you instantly feel like you have traveled back in time to a seemingly quieter way of life. The service staff was kind and very helpful when explaining the dishes. As the food was placed on our table it was obvious that the culinary team took pride in every plate. The smells, textures, seasonings, and presentation were all a powerful statement of who these people are. They are a proud people with food and hospitality that are unmatched. Very happy I got to experience it.

Highly recommended local Ukrainian restaurant! Local Odesan food but also many dishes and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) from all over Ukraine, for really reasonable prices, lovely service, and the best traditional decoration and uniforms! Even the music playing was very nice Ukrainian pop music.

This place has really good authentic Ukrainian food! The place itself is filled with all kinds of Ukrainian traditional items and the staff is dressed in costumes. But, when we tried to order the steak it wasn't good and after getting a new one we were disappointing once again... So I'd recommend only ordering the traditional dishes

Kumanets is a great restaurant with an outstanding variety of traditional dishes. The decoration and the ambiance are an entertainment by themselves. It's always great to come back!

We wanted to visit the beach and eat some fish. Check on google we find this place and right away headed there. It’s seems to be the only upper level fish place in all the Beach area. We had some Tatar’s, soup and fish. It was good service and food was quite good. With 3.500 for 3 people it wasn’t cheap but fair for quality and service. We definitely recommend that place.

This establishment is on track for a long lasting future. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you just travelled into another world. The service staff were extremely professional and made you feel like a real guest. Compliments to our server and especially the bartender for making me a pisco sour which was an off menu drink. It was awesome and tasted better than my own at home. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from and does a great job of showcasing the level of skill the culinary team possesses. The Chef here is clearly skilled. The food was not only delicious but comforting. Thank you for an amazing experience.

The staff was great. They spoke Excellent English and also had an English menu. The food was well prepared (probably the best steak I have ever had in Ukraine). The food not only looked amazing but it tasted great too. They also have amazing desserts. I can recommend the Kiev Cake!! The portions are large but the price is too. For a special occasion this place is great. Oh and if you are celebrating a special day....tell them for a pretty cool surprise from the staff. Great place overall...5 stars from me!!

What a gem ,,,, yes its not cheap if you want cheap go to McDonalds , service is phenomenal, everything is so so tasty , you can tell that the products they use is A+, cheif also seems to know his taste buds , you got to try the Tom Yam soup best ive had possibly yet in my life ,, but everything thing else is also so so so good . Highly recommended, will be definitely visiting this place once in Odessa !!!

What a great place. Such a relaxing, romantic atmosphere, lovable decoration ideas. The quality of food and service is high. Admins and waiters are polite and helpful. Big selection of cakes that look and taste awesome. And tea! Finally the tea is loose big leaf not a teabag what gives it strong flavor and bitter taste (appreciated by strong tea lovers). The place looks great and has some nice food as well. But you need to watch out, our waiter kept trying to sell us things which were off menu which were much more expensive... In addition the menu states the price for 100g but the minimum portion size can be 300g or higher sometimes which brings the price way higher and the waiter wouldn't warn you at all.

A cosy place with delicious food. It is possible to sit inside or outside. In my opinion their waiters could be more helpful. Last time we went there, all the dishes, starters and the mains were brought at the same time.

This place is EVERYTHING. We sat outside because the weather was on point, but inside is adorable too. The food was amazing, simple and beautifully served. The service was exceptional. We ordered a smattering of things, but I LOVED the pelmeni (dumplings) and house kompot (a classic eastern European drink made from fruit).

Not the cheapest place to eat but the service, location and atmosphere are great. You get to eat outside in Opera's garden if you wish. When it's hot, they create share and a breeze to make their outdoor seating wonderful. Also the serving of food is very pretty. You need at least 200 gvn per person.

Very good atmosphere, relaxed place, good salad, Kachapuri and the mussels with curry were delicious and perfect for our taste, but be aware a little bit spicy. We even ordered extra bread to finish this amazing curry sauce

I went to this restaurant as it has good reviews in tripadvisor. The food is excellent and the service as well. They have english menu and even though the waiter didn't speak proper english he tryed his best. They have tables inside and outside in the backyard. It is quite nice to sit outside in nature when sunny and warm. Highly recommended.

What a nice restaurant for lunch time, especially if you can enjoy the terrace which is quiet and peaceful. It's a new menu I think, Italian oriented. We took the pasta with seafood, and I was impressed by the quality : perfect dosage between pasta, sauce, ingredients. Cooked like in french / Italian restaurants. A good surprise with good prices. Waiters are not insistant, which is good for a place like this. Good choice of desserts, wine, coffees and teas

I really liked my experience in Fratelli. Attention was very good, the waitress had a perfect English and was also very friendly. It's a must, if you are in Odessa and enjoy Italian food.

Great athmosphere. With a little breeze outside, it feels italian all over. Waiters are kind, hardworking and also english speaking (thank god). Food was excellent. I tried shrimp + black caviar ravioli it was perfect. A piece of my wine glass unexplainably broken from the middle, never seen that before :) Prices were really good considering the quality of the place.

I was here few years ago, amazing food, wonderful selection of beers, amazing staff!

WOW! It's one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to! The food was soooo delicious, there are no words to describe it, you need to go and try it in on your own! We ordered mussels with garlic sauce which was served with white bread and french fries (I advise you to dip that bread in the sauce so you can understand what is heaven on earth :D), besides that we had a salad with clams which was AMAZING. And to make your evening unforgettable, I highly recommend you to order red sangria which tasted like it was delivered right from Spain! If you are up to go there on the weekends' evening, you'd better off booking a table in advance, we were lucky to catch a table at Saturday's night!

Wide variety of signature cocktails and drinks. The food experience is 4.6. We’ve had a pot of beer mussels, fish soup and deep fried fish (which for our taste was too salty).

Wow! This might be the best restaurant in Odessa. This place looks really nice and fancy, as it is one of the high end restaurant in the city. The service here is very professional, the waiter was very pleasant and helpful. The food was fantastic, we had some really interesting dishes such as the Foie Gras and the Steak Wellington, I would highly recommend to try those. You should know that the waiting time for some dishes might be longer than 30 minutes as it takes time to prepare the food properly. Overall, even though this place might be a bit expensive locally speaking it is highly recommend!

High quality food in Odessa. I visited here for a late brunch one morning whilst staying in Odessa. The eggs benedict was very tasty (an improvement on many of the other breakfast options in the city). Staff here are friendly and professional. I’d recommend getting one of the seats upstairs overlooking the street if possible.

This has been one of my go to restaurants in Odessa for all occasions for many years. No idea why the bad reviews other than jealousy. Love this place! Food is awesome. Staff remembers me from previous trips. Service is amazing. However if you want a fast meal, then go to Mc Donalds. Enjoy taking time to enjoy dinner for a change? This is the place.

We were there with very good friends, so that it was really a nice evening. But it would be even better if the wife of my friend were served the main course. The waiter finally said there were too many clients, so they forgot about her. I thought they'd at least compensate the error somehow. But nothing happened. The quality of the food didn't correspond to the presumed class of the restaurant.

We were tricked in this restaurant. We arrived from Athens, on the first day of our holiday we slipped the menu with inflated prices, because we are foreigners and have to pay more. This place had very good atmosphere from the live local music . Very authentic food and interior. Do not expect any special food wise they are very basic and standard. I recommend this place if you want to enjoy beer snack and music . Food serves comparatively slow but staffs are trying to be nice.

Beautiful sea-view location with tasty food but slow, cold service. We visited Yug in Odessa today. The location is lovely with a fresh sea breeze, and there was live music (a bit too loud for my taste). The food was extremely delicious – every dish we tried was tasty, and the kitchen is worth visiting for the flavors alone. However, the service felt cold and was very slow. We waited 25 minutes for appetizers, and then everything arrived at once with the main dishes. Our baked vegetables never came after 45 minutes, and we had to cancel them. Also, the wine prices were surprisingly high, though food prices are average. Overall, I recommend coming here if you want to enjoy the kitchen and sea view, but be ready to wait.

Went for lunch with my wife. Restaurant is right on the beach, so a great view. Food was really tasty and good value, except we ordered grilled vegetables which after 45 minutes never arrived so we cancelled them and the starters and main course were all brought out at the same time. We were very pleased with Yug Restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it’s right by the sea. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Service is fast, and the food is delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of options. We were very satisfied and gladly give it a full five out of five.

Very beautiful restaurant, even toilets are amazingly decorated. Very good cocktail with Gin Tanqueray, the 1st Kachapuri on menu made especially with spinach as advised by the waitress was really good in a very large portion. It could even be enough for small stomachs. By night, the atmosphere is very good but I plan to go again on a sunny day to enjoy the view of Black sea. This is our first visit to this restaurant. I have heard a lot positive reviews about this restaurant from my friends. I liked that this place is located near the sea side and it has a beautiful view. I would call this place still cozy in spite its modern design. It is clean and easy accessible with a good parking. However, It seems to me that the most of staff members are arrogant and not very inviting.

Recently visited YUG restaurant in Odessa with friends to celebrate a birthday. The place really stands out with its stunning Black Sea view—especially from the terrace, where you feel like you’re on a cruise ship. The interior is sleek and modern, with wooden accents and an open kitchen, giving off a premium vibe. The atmosphere is chill, especially at night when the lights come on. We ordered some Mediterranean dishes: the burrata with tomatoes and olive oil was fresh and creamy—loved it; fried zucchini flowers as an appetizer were crispy and light, so good we got a second round; the steak was juicy, but the portion could’ve been bigger for the price. The fish soup felt a bit plain, almost watered down with potatoes, but overall, the food was tasty and fresh, with a focus on seafood. Cocktails (tried the Bergamo) were great and refreshing. The wine, recommended by the sommelier, was spot-on. Service was generally solid—our server, Julia, was attentive, gave good menu suggestions, and brought blankets when it got chilly in the evening. But things felt a bit hectic at times; we waited about 20 minutes longer than promised for our food. Prices are about average for a place like this: around 1500 UAH for two with wine and dessert, which isn’t shocking but not cheap either. One downside—the menu’s all over the place, from Italian to Greek, and it feels like they’re not fully nailing any one thing. Overall, YUG is more about the vibe and the view than groundbreaking food. I’d recommend it for a romantic dinner or sunset drinks, but if you’re after something super unique, it might not hit the mark. We’ll probably come back, but not regularly. 4/5.

Just had cappuccino there. The wait staff were welcoming, and the view of the light house and ships excellent. Great time there. Update: it is now February 2020. Girlfriend and I had the chefs salad and seafood pasta. Both excellent choices. Fresh, green salad and the seafood pasta clearly on another level.

I have been here couple times already. The food taste is superb and it is really go to when you are looking to have some good seafood. The service is sometimes bit slower, but you will easily forgive them. The view on the harbour and the fresh seawater wind will be cherry on top.

We went here for an “upscale” dinner and my friend was hospitalized from the food poisoning she got from this place. Don’t eat any of the fish. I ordered salmon and it was so bad I didn’t eat it, it tasted sour and knew it was bad. My friend ordered the tuna and was hospitalized from the poisoning. Doctors confirmed it was from fish. She spent two days unable to eat or move. Spent more than a day in the hospital and is currently still suffering. Look at the negative reviews, many people get food poisoning from this restaurant and they blame their customers for ordering “large amounts of pure protein”. Unbelievable. Kitchen should be shut down. EDIT: because the restaurant is threatening to delete the review, claiming this isn’t a real review... we visited on July 18 at 7:00pm. I ordered Salmon Nigiri and it was SOUR. My friend ordered the plate with a couple different sushi’s on it and the Tuna Nigiri was SOUR. My friend spent all of July 19 bedridden, HORRIBLY SICK after not eating anything else except this meal. By July 20, we had to hospitalize her because her food poisoning was SO SEVERE from contracting A VERY SERIOUS VIRUS THAT IS ONLY TRANSMITTED THROUGH BAD FISH. Doctor confirmed that the virus was from bad fish.

The number one budget breakfast place on Deribasovskaya. They have a 25% off on a wide variety of breakfast until 1300. Including options with eggs, salads, cheese and meats. The service is fast and efficient. The seating area outside is cozy and leaning into the walking streat. The interior is like an warm and welcoming Italian hug 🤗

These pizzas are awesome 😎 and priced highly comparing other stuff in the Odessa. Pizza’s look fantastic, but obviously they are not as good as Italian ones. I liked the steak pizza. They are portioned well for 1 person. Pretty big. Waiter was also very friendly and useful. Items were brought to the table quick. Will go back again.

I was in this restaurant couple of years ago and I love it coz they knew how to cook the salmon properly. I was happy to see that it was still there nowadays. I eat some some seafood salad and drink berry ice tea. It was delicious. They have menu in english and the waiter spoke english. As the title mentions this place is cheaper than others and has great food and great service. They have sitting inside and outside when sunny and warm. Looking forward to come back. The place is huge and may feel intimidating on the outside, but it's lovely inside with a feel of a true Italian place. The food is Italian with a modern twist. Service is relatively quick for a restaurant this size. Recommended.

Tasty food and beverages, along with great shisha. Best of all, it is pet friendly with attentive staff who may ask if your pet needs water as they have water bowls if required(we sat enjoying the street views and sounds for approx. 3 hours as the weather was great!). The Steakhouse restaurant is located on one of the main streets of the city. It has been successfully operating for many years delivering high quality meals, drinks, deserts and service. Unfortunately, the situation which happened to me made me question how ethical are the owners of the place and diminished my positive customer service experience. Meals are definitely of a high quality with wide selection on the menu to satisfy any taste. First impression was nothing but positive: colouring pages and pencils to entertain my kids, friendly and helpful staff with a good level of English and a good knowledge of the menu. However, after spending over $220 i was expected to leave 10% + tip. I am not used to this utterly US custom and was certainly not expecting to face it in Ukraine. Staff members of a prestigious and reputable place such as Steakhouse deserve to be treated fairly, getting paid decent wages (which they very much deserve) and not being left to the mercy of a customer to be able to provide the best service possible, especially when the restaurant is not cheap, even comparing to the fine dining places overseas. The waiting time was quite reasonable.

The best meat you'll find in Odessa. This restaurant has the greatest selection of meat in the whole city and the dishes are prepared to perfection! The place itself looks and feels nice, the staff is very nice and our waiter was one of the best I've had. While it might be considered less cheap compared to other places, it's worth it. A small warning - The burger is HUGE, so you should prepare yourself before getting one. In addition, the apple pie dessert takes 35 minutes to prepare so watch out... So if you visit Odessa, you must pay a visit ;)

Probably the most authentic steak house in Ukraine. I had one of the best steaks of my life here. the presentation is unmatched. the staff are very welcoming and friendly. the meat selection is really really good. I tried the ukranian ribeye and it was incredible! cooked rare to perfection! I found this place by accident while exploring late at night and fell in love. highly recommended!!!

Oooh some spot to make most of your holidays. We have served our food by Alexander lovely friendly block. Had to taste their imported beef from USA. Expensive but worth every penny.

Will make vegans weep, but carnivores jump in excitement - there's a special cupboard with glass front where you can see what's on offer. Very well maintained place to enjoy food, the theater and do people spotting. Prices might seem quite reasonable for tourists from the "west", but is well above the average for limited budget travellers. Still - a place to go for a special treat without a regret. Ask for Vladimir, if you want the best waiter!

Still the best place to eat meat in Odessa. Really nothing to say. Prices are a little high (more European prices) but the quality is really high too. All is very professional. EDIT : In 2020, quality is not so good anymore. Plates are more simple, and without this unique taste they had before. Too expensive now for the quality

The food here was good and the prices were great for the portion size. Definitely dont order desert though. Two of us at our table of four ordered it with our food as soon as we sat down and were told it would take 20 minutes. We both said that was fine as it would be perfect timing once we finished our meals. It took over an hour and a half before the desert came out, with the waitress telling us it would only be 10 more minutes about 5 times, and it really wasnt that good.

A must-visit restaurant in Odessa. Delicious food, amazingly kind service. Our waitress spoke English which is very unusual in Odessa. A bit tiny portions, but it is good excuse to order an appetizer, main dish and dessert. Prices are reasonable. For meal which included appetizer, main dish, drinks and dessert we paid 325 UAH per person.

I went to Babel Fish on Friday night when I came to Odessa. This place is amazing and beautiful. Great food and great service. As a Brit visiting Odessa, I popped into The Roastery by Odessa in Arkadia and I was absolutely chuffed! The atmosphere is spot on – really cosy and stylish. A special shoutout to Karina for the top-notch service; she was incredibly polite and attentive. I’ll definitely be popping back again!

The food is OK, a bit overpriced but this is acceptable for this location. Stuff could be friend, but could also be absolutely unpleasant - it depends. Tables are often reserved but they are empty - it feels like the stuff is waiting for you to pay them to make the table available. Interior and overall atmosphere is modern and nice, but nothing special. It is a popular place for Tinder dates. This cafe is definitely not suited for kids.

A very classy restaurant with a noble retro interior, lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. The staff is very professional and friendly and has good English skills. One of the best burgers I ever had: the «The Roastery» signature burger with extra cheese. Absolutely stunning! Thank you!!

A Restaurant with very nice interior...very relaxing atmpsphere, nice backround Music which was not too loud as in many other Places. My Burger was a little dry and I missed a sauce or more sauce on the Burger. The Fries could have been more crispy. I am not sure if I would return for Food. I would come back for a Beer or Cocktail, I guess. The Wine List looked tempting as well.

One of the favourite restaurants in the city. Menu is delicious and especially desserts are worth to try. At the weekends you do need a reservation. During the live music nights you enjoy your meal and friendship in a beautiful atmosphere. The prices are competitive and customera are elite.

Great bar in the center of Odessa. We were sitting on Saturday evening and the evening was really good. Music is adapted to the place, you have some deejays on Saturday, but music is not loud. Food was good, good prices, same for alcohol and wine card. The waiter was not insistant like in some other places, so you can just relax and enjoy your evening.

First of all - delicious food. We have ordered pizza, pasta, raviolis, soup and bruschettas. Big and delicious dishes. Service was on the great level. We were greeted warmly and left full and happy. Another nice thing. My girlfriend forgot a hat there. And called to find out if it had been left on the place. Luckily, it was. And the personel kindly sent it back ASAP (we were waiy for the train at that moment). Long story short. Great place. Highly recommend. Definitely will visit again next time.

Can't say much about food. Coffee is okay, not great — I wish they used Foundation Coffee beans instead of whatever they use. Hookah is okay depending on the guy making it but it's never outstanding. Still I come here quite often for both drinks and shisha and I do recommend this place.

Nice place for breakfast, good and fresh assortment, and menu flexibility, but we faced not pleasant staff who reacted to our claim quite arrogantly. Last our visit (on Fri evening), the waiter showed the box where we can get paper and pencils for drawing by ourselves; this time we came again and took pencils again by ourselves, but got an aggressive reaction from the staff without any explanations. The administration managed the case effectively, but the morning vibe was spoiled.

Great place to visit. Delicious meals, we tried shakshuka(Israeli traditional dish) and salmon Benedict (Canadian version of it) - very satisfying! Cacao was a bit too sweet, but it's just my preference. Amazing coconut latte. Profiteroles were the best ending to our visit. Definitely would recommend. - We are back! Tried few different meals and were happy that we chose this place!

Place with a nice idea, cozy design and tasty food. Unfortunately my eggs in Odessa breakfast were pretty cold and a bread which they served instead a pita bread (they ran out of it) with shakshuka wasn’t a ciabatta as they called it. Olio pizza is definetly offers best food in Odesa. I have never tried pizza there. But every time i ordered a meal, they managed to suprise me by serving something beyond my expectations. My favourites are 4 cheese penne and julien chicken. If you go to Odesa, this must be place that you have your meals.

We had two main courses pepper steak and Salmon. Both were excellent. Staff friendly and supportive. Ambience and garden is spectacular. Just suggestion to staff, inform customers of prices in the menu is per 100 gm so no surprises. Otherwise amazing experience if price is not an issue to you.

We had breakfast and lunch here - just an incredible experience! The restaurant is located next to the Opera House, it has a huge terrace with lots of trees and bushes - perfect for taking photos. If you're into brown pubs, this is the place. Good selection of beer and drinks. Didn't eat myself, but saw they had a rich food cart. Nice guy with a beard working here also, he was cool.

One of my favorite drinking holes in Odessa. They have multiple seating areas including 2 outdoor terraces. Their scotch room has one of the largest single malt collections in eastern europe (over 700 bottles, many of them rare and expensive!) The whiskey sommelier is very knowledgeable, I learned so much from her. The whiskey room is a perfect place for an informal business meeting, quite date or just to chill with friends. Highly recommended!

The interior and exterior of the pub is amazing. However the food was not so great , hamburgers need to be improved and not so salty. Also lots of beers were out of order. Looks like this place has a lot to offer, but something is going wrong there. Also the waiters need more training to gain more knowledge in beer and whisky.

Pretty good Scottish Pub in a very center, especially the terraces are good. The higher one have a powerful ventilated airflow with some water sprayed around. Cool feature IMHO. The last star, IMHO, answering your question, could be won by adding to the stock some more of the beers, mentioned in the menu, but unavailable at the moment)

This place was great. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the servers were super nice and very patient with us when it came to language differences. We ordered a sausage platter with pretzel and it was enough for two.

The place itself is nice in the cellar, however, the service attitude was extremely bad and unwelcoming; in the terrace no suggestions to go inside, and inside, in the basement, the menus were just bluntly thrown to our table without any welcoming words. Downstairs live music. When we had made our order, the personnel approached us telling that we have only one hour to finish our meal. I told that in that case they can forget our order and we will leave the place if can't eat without a hurry. We stated that the table was not reserved when we sat there and therefore we should be able to eat taking our time. After they refused, we left the place. I strongly recommend to avoid the place.

Really good location ,we sat out at night it's beautiful to look out to the street with the butterflies lights on the trees , food wise are not very impressive , nothing fancy just huge portion and cheap price. According to the guys(local) the meat skewers (shashluk)were very good.

Good place. Environment is good, we sat down outside and is in the main street of Odesa. So that is expensive but food is good. We ordered some typicall georgian food and it was good, but like I said a bit expensive.

Great place to visit, with it's own vibe. Each section of the restaurant has some unique ideas, that makes feel like you are in a different place. I've tried kambala fish - my all time favorite, amazing taste. Also their napoleon cake, which is 400g per serving, just mind blowing! One of the best in the city and we've tried about 5 different ones. I would recommend to come and enjoy your time

It was my birthday yesterday and my fiancé Oksana suggested this place for my birthday. It’s a great place when you want to entertain yourself or make a party for sure. Only problem is when we see the check. We ordered two Campari & two orange juice at the beginning then we added one more Campari shot. There is 3 orange juice & 3 Campari. We think it’s normal they are busy and shared this mistake with our waiter (Daniel), but we surprised and shock the answer, there is no mistake, your glasses are big so each glass is 1.5 orange juice, so total 3 orange juice is normal :))) He is smart! Honesty I did not expected this answer but I did not want to argue with him on my birthday night! But it’s a shame for such a good restaurant &bar and I believe the owner and the management need to know about that! First we did not order 3 orange juice, second he needs to tell this to the customer at the beginning, if they have big glasses (like 1.5 size) for orange juice which is ridiculous obviously. I paid 300 gravni for one extra orange juice and also paid more than enough tip because it’s not my style, and also it’s not fault for other employees and owner!

Being a frequent guest at Reef yet there was not too much to complain about except that earlier for some reason there were few different prices for same dishes in the english and russian menu. I could in past also always recommend my friends to go to Reef and they listened my words and were not disappointed... Seems that things have recently changed there to the negative. Service quality in terms of waiters/waitresses to be able to provide the guests a standard service nearly not existent. Seems most have never worked in service and are not very attentive. Having had so many waiters/waitresses there till now only a small asian-type waitress can be recommended because she always did everything well and with enormous attention to her guests in all belongings. There are some dishes now on the menu where a guest really might start think if he got cheated by the restaurant after ordering them. One great example is the "assortiment of warm sea food" as a starter for 475UAH which more or less contains only one single shrimp, two black mussels with shell and a few other pieces of small mussels meat without shells. The rest makes an extreme oversalted sauce. In comparison with similar dishes in different Odessa restaurants this one really not worth more than 200UAH with a lot of goodwill. Totally overpriced and a shame for the Reef menu selection to offer such. So now it is clear why there is not one photo of this dish on the REEF Instagram site... a shame to present it there... Be aware ordering this dish!!! Who as a guest is not reading the menu properly and or is ordering a "Greece Salad" thinking to get a standard greek salad will also be not very happy. Reef serves this classical salad WITHOUT any piece of feta and even WITHOUT a single olive. On the just half covered plate guests will find some little white spots of a so called feta-cream which has taste like a standard mayonaise and really seems to have nothing to do with feta at all. And there is on plate a teaspoon of a pulp made from olives. The pulp tasted like olives. Interesting who had the idea to replace feta and olives from this so popular salad and for which reason. Probably cheaper to prepare and lasts longer in fridge than real olives & feta. Having this feta-creme and olive pulp on a salad not makes out of the restaurant an Haute Cuisine restaurant. This is a ridiculous try. What can be recommended are the meals with salmon, they are prepared tasty way and salmon was always tender like butter, never grilled too much till it was dry and "dead". So having ordered these dishes now for sure over 30 times nothing went wrong. Also vegetables from grill are tasty and portion size normal and not cheating-type... Also we can recommend the standard Cesar salad which is fair priced and has a great taste and quality and does not yet come only half covered on the plate like the greece salad does. To the dishes are served different salad leaves on the plate. They come totally dry without any dressing. Waiters also NEVER bringing oil and vinegar along with such plates to the table. It is always necessary to ask. Who can be happy with salad leaves without dressing, without oil and vinegar? Rabbits? We did not see them as guests... And in addition, if there is not already standing salt and pepper on the table... Till now never any waiter got idea to have an attention on putting salt and pepper to the table. It was always necessary to ask to bring it over. Even not having worked till now in service sector this should be easily understandable for waiters/waitresses that this belongs to a basic service... Most upsetting occurrence happened last evening. We had given two pieces of salmon to the waiter to pack it together to take it home. At home we had to notice they gave us just ONE piece. No idea what happened with the second one, maybe it fell on floor and they threw away then or a cat has stolen it. But even then the waiter should tell the guests about it. From my point of view this is absolutely intolerable and nothing else than a theft!!!

We had breakfast there. The food was good, but service was absent. The waiter, the cleaning personnel were very arrogant and rude. We felt super uncomfortable and left very unpleasant feeling.

Today we are going for lunch. Weather is rainy. We are 3 couples. We are tourist in this country. Waiters said "we are closed" but everyone have a lunch. Waiter very rode and horrible. I think it's not good for this restaurant owners and this country.

I had lunch in this restaurant. The soup was watery and without seasoning, and the meat was dry and tasteless. This is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a long time! The service was inattentive, and one of the waitresses even tried to take away the food while I was eating. The prices are quite high compared to other restaurants in Odessa with little value for money. I recommend going somewhere else as there are far better options in close proximity.

It's a nice place with great view on city-garden and cozy interior, it has own brewery and almost always crowded. Regarding what is wrong with this place - overpriced (you can get same quality food and crafted beer 2 times cheeper even in Kiev), menu doesn't have output weight specified, so you can't count on it to figure out how much food you really need and have to ask waitress for assistance. ALSO NOTE: Tips are included into final price!

Beer, food and place are very good. The service is poor. Waitresess seems to be very busy, but with other clients, avoiding eye contact. Food comes warm not hot and empty glass waits over 20 minutes to be replaced with full one. And it wasn't rush hour.

The food was ok. My friends were very surprised that pasta goes without salt. It was a bit plane. I had liver salad, that was grand. The waiter had most delightful smile we met in our trip 😅 we really thought about giving it a 4 just for that :)

Well if you're looking for Italian restaurant, this is not what you're looking for! To have few pizza and lasagne doesn't make you an Italian restaurant, cooks trained on Italian food and a menù with Italian food (of course pasta and pizza are fine but we are not only that). The restaurant is looking amazing, the toilet is clean but a bit small. The staff is nice and paying attention that you have always the table clean! Ehm the burger is a bit overpriced! 😁

Nice park view. Food is good, but I've had much better in Odessa. Skip the meze platter. Tasty soups & caviar, though! 3 stars for food, an extra star for the park view. My favourite thing about this place was the vibe dining al fresco when musicians started playing in the park. Lovely experience of Odessa in summer.

We had a wonderful experience here. The meze set was nice and pork chops were excellent. My only recommendation for the is to stop serving the quinoa salad hot, the flavors just don't blend well.

We really enjoyed this restaurant: first of all it's very romantic (even with our 18 month old joining us), and the food was beyond tasty. The salads were amazing, the mussels and steak super tasty, and the Napoleon is a unique take on a dessert classic that is worth coming here on its own. We'll definitely return again if we come back to Odessa.

I liked this restaurant the best of all the ones we tried in Odessa on this trip. My American fiance tried borscht at 3 different restaurants in Odessa and said this was best... and I will admit that my own borscht is not as good as theirs :) Our server was a real pro, and when we were there there was a performer singing in French. The live music was perfect - not too loud and created a very pleasant atmosphere. They even had a great odorless bug spray that was truly odorless and worked. Food all around was good and presented beautifully. Thank you!

Very, very nice place to visit. The main dinning room is divided into several areas, which makes it nice to talk with friends. I take my Russian lessons there with a friend twice a week. One time I was there and wanted breakfast, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, peppers , onions and cheese, it was not on the menu, but they were happy to make it that way for me and was excellent! The outside glass covered terrace is awesome looking out into City Park. I really enjoyed the fire place they had going when I was there. Will be going there many times.

In the menu burgers: 2 cutlets, 3 cutlets , but belive me you will get the thinnest cutlets , with rally no taste ! So disappointed ! With this price you can do one normal cutlet as it was yers before. Jack Daniel’s burger on the photo ((

The manager of this restaurant does not understand basic customer service. While the food at Mick's is good, the service is TERRIBLE!!! I walked in for breakfast at 8:55 and was pushed out the door into the cold because they don't open until 9:00. The waiter couldn't just let me sit there for 5 minutes. Then I ordered the Irish Breakfast and was told that I couldn't exchange the sausage for more beans. The last time I checked, sausage is far more expensive than an extra 20 grams of beans. I won't be going back.

Special place and fun, located in the best part of the town to have fun at night, they have inside tables, outside boots and also a terrace. All sorts of drinks, very good beer, good food, from burgers to sushi.

It is the expat centre of Odessa, good to meet up with the regulars, prices very reasonable, the three for two on Heineken is excellent ))) If you like Pool you are in heaven. Downstairs busy, upstairs seems empty? Good food, staff are friendly.

Best breakfast place in Odessa, big portions with amazing tasting food. Waiter was really nice and gave water and breadsticks to our dog that was sitting with us, for sure will come here again :)

ahhh, I’m first time in Odesa and to be honest, it’s the best place I found in a week here their Pirate beach under the restaurant could be a bit cleaner, but I know it’s almost unreal to do during the season, when a lot of people visit their restaurant and beach every day, so everything is just purrfect will visit Odesa more, especially because of them <3

Overall not bad. I woudn't call the view from the terrase exciting. The food was good, but some positions on the menu were not available.

I have been to Assol several times over the last few years. Im always made welcome from Alex ( Sacha) and the rest of the Staff. Beautiful food and the local fish is to die for. Stunning views over the sea both in the winter as well as the summer. Just love the place. Mark Kirby.

Very long waiting time eventhough the restaurant is empty. Food is pricey but doesnt taste good, really small portions. 2 stars for very good location but that is the only perk.

Cool place, bit overpriced. They have special offer everyday, ordered veg pita from that but the waiter assumed that we don't speak Russian and didn't gave the discount.. however on requesting another cheque and asking about it, he soon realized that we are familiar with their techniques. So be aware if you speak only English, this place may try to charge you more for things.

Nice place to chill. Variety of fast food, snacks, burgers. Breakfasts are also good. Also football games are on tv to watch along with a cold beer.

Awesome little sports bar. Barman speaks good English and is able to recommend places to see and go. Very good prices. Good menu with a large variety of dishes, unfortunately the steak is very tough and not really cooked very well, other dishes were excellent. Good music, good vibes, staff are awesome. 1 thumbs up from me, so close to 2 but the steak let them down.

Good service; when I ordered my dish, the waiter told the time it takes to prepare the dish. Regularly checking if anything else is needed. The meat and other stuff in the burger were excellent and indeed tasty, only the bun was disappointing, it was too soft and industrial compared to the other elements, which were just marvellous and indeed tasty. Worth visiting some more times and check their steaks. And not to forget, at least two football (the real one) shown Live on several screens.

A fantastic restaurant. The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. The staff spoke good English and there was also an English menu. The food tastes great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. From the music to the design. Everything was great and not pushy. When I'm back in Odessa, I'll be seen again.

Great food! I recommend the tasting menu. Two people can try 7 dishes of local cuisine and eat them! The price of the tasting menu is around 450UAH. I recommend oysters!

So not bad restaurant. Salad is tasty and cocktails is twist on classic cocktails. But if You come with lady or child You must tell for waiter what you want your's order together. Coze one will be eat another one will wait. It's looks not gentle

Great place for a lovely dinner at the end of the hot day. They have three terraces: the beach terrace, the upper terrace and the indoor seating. The view is great, and you get to witness the scenery of the sea, but if you want the front row seats, you will have to book a table in advance and leave a few shillings as a deposit. The food is great, most of it is cooked on grill. Speed of service is decent, with over 50% seating capacity filled, I was served within 15 minutes from when I ordered. Prices are definitelly high end, but the view and the atmosphere you are buying is worth every penny.

Super nice local place you surely must check out! Service reacts in timely fashion. The dishes I can recommend are definitely green borsch, grilled zucchini with seasoned chicken’s breast in the milk, baked pielmieni and one of their home made cakes, just lovely! In addition to that, the atmosphere and interior design of the place is as much tailored and crafted as their own beer, regardless what you choice IPA, pils or milkstaut you will be content.

I tell you what. I spent in thr city 11 days, I visited over a dozen of really nice and cosy restaurants. Kachka is one of the best. They have excellent service and very good food quality. Broad selection of courses and beverages, incl. beer and wine. Highly recommended!

We came here for breakfast. Good atmosphere and service. The food came very fast. However portions could be larger, to offer better value for money. My breakfast was served with 3 tablespoons of butter, which is unnecessary - instead give more veggies or bacon. By the way, the bacon was delicious!

They served me "pork chop" which was fried pork meat stuffed in with something in sunflower oil. There is also no information that it was fried in oil in menu. No wonder they charged me money of the food that i could not have.

Good place! it was a rainy day so we went there because it was close to our appartment. Anyway food was good, original made and the environment was cozy, inside and outside. There was a simpatic black cat with us as well ;). We ordered dishes we only saw in that place so because of that we enjoyed it. Service was very kind so is recommended to go and try by yourself!

weirdly expensive (in comparison with the normal cafes in Odesa) and kinda meaningless as a memorial of Gogol. It's more like an ordinary teahouse with nothing special but a cafe based on Gogol's house.

Delicious food, very lovely patio design, good portions and great overall value for money! Would definitely come back here when we are visiting Osessa next time.

Gogol mogol restaurant intererior was superb while chilled music in the air made atmosphere even better. Menu is wide and prices is very reasonable. In addition, the service was great and quick.

Absolutely mind-blowing deliciousness! Odessa is a great place to eat. But out of the 3 excellent restaurants we've gone to in Odessa, Gogol Mogol takes the palm: fresh, clean authentic tastes, very hearty dishes that all seems straight out from the books of different Grand-mas who would have shared their own special secret recipes to create the epitomy of Eastern cuisine. Even better: our waitress Tatiana was just... Perfect. Kind and extremely effective, good recommendation in English and very patient with our kind, the touristy "what's this what's that" kind. Thank you again for this amazing experience!!! We will come back to Odessa just to eat there. A must-taste.

Excellent cuisine, lots of place to sit outside during warm days. Moreover, it is close to center and yet located on a calm street...bit away from hustle bustle of deribasovskaya street.

Great concept to pay by weight with good selection of hot/cold dishes, soups, desserts, beer/wine/juices, and unique decor. One of many locations spotted around the city to enjoy the self-serve experience for dine-in or for a small fee with takeaway containers. 30% off before closing was an interesting surprise.

A lovely spot in the heart of the town with a very tasty food at reasonable prices.During my last visit to Odessa I had my meal thrice there and I must admit that for what they charge the quality of food is great, except may be some of their patties that could have been more fresh. The raspberry tea along with a slice of their Zachertort are worthy of trying.The cashier girl was really nice and helpfulI.The place have been nicely decorated for an upcoming Christmas season .The interior is another thing that would make me come again and again. This a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the center of the city (Odessa). Prices are very competitive and affordable. Big selection of food for any taste. Plenty seating to accommodate many people. Also, it has nice views on Deribasovskuyu street from the window. I would definitely recommend it to visit!

Wide choice of food however all those dishes are cold and warmed up in microwave. You can find a better place for a fresh food for the same price.

The food is NOT HALAL. I went in and asked and they told me it is not. Don’t be fooled by the “salam alaykum” greetings. I assumed it was halal but thought I’d double check. I ended up having a salad and a vegetable dish. Which was ok. The only saving grace was the service was very good and I appreciated the honesty.

I don't like alcohol, but your pomegranate wine is my favorite. Everything I try is always 10/10. the prices are very reasonable

Very great Crimean food. Very tasty and friendly stuff. We could believe that we spend just 900 UAH for the best dinner so far. We are on high rated places and all of them couldn’t live it up. But this place where we drop im coincidentally, was just perfect since we were planing to go for local food. And the nice place outside was the jackpot

The girls were lovely, their tried their best with their English and handed over an English menu. The portions were slightly bigger than I anticipated so unfortunately for me I couldn't finish it all, but it was all nice and I enjoyed trying Crimean Tatar food. The second time I went they had a band playing which was very nice and added to the ambience.

Extremely poor service! I did not expect such ignorance and lack of professionalism from the staff, especially given the beautiful interior. The food is mediocre at best — far from what one would expect from authentic Tatar/Turkish cuisine. Sadly, this is a place I will never return to.

very good! A cosy place where you can find unusual and very tasty food, friendly staff and low prices. Such a good combination is not so common for Odessa. Loved to go there with my family for breakfast on weekends. Now, during the lockdown their delivery service is super fast! Really wish them to survive this difficult time and to prosper.

Crimean Tatar cuisine. Coffee made on green tea - have you ever heard of that? Very soft, I enjoyed it! Overall, highly recommended!

A good place in the very city centre,not far from Potemkin Stairs.The mayo based chicken- prune salad I ordered was very tasty.The French toasts were nice.The ambience is nice but not as pleasant as in Utoch-kino.A great choice of breakfast meals available .As I can see their menu is identical to the aforementioned canteen.

Very good display of food but hot food which is supposed to served hot is served at a temperature of 33C room temperature. Tables are dirty and no one cares to remove the dishes from the table. Unfriendly staff, especially one man there around just watching you like what you are taking like a security there. Food is taken by weight, some by pieces...unbelievable...didn't expect this from such a lovely looking place.

Nice for a tourist like me to see what you are getting, and be able to sample a little bit of many things. Heaven on earth! Heathy and decadent options where you have absolute portion control and only pay for what you eat. This is so much better than ‘all you can eat’ buffets which encourage overeating for the sake of getting your money’s worth. Further, the music here is really hip. The decor is great, and the outdoor seating features world class people watching. If you’re struggling with the language barrier, know that the foods have English translations and of course you can pay with card. Just be careful taking large pieces is salmon because those get charged at a different rate! All in all, CityBuffet is a lifesaver when you want healthy, precise portions in a rush. If I could give 10 stars I would. CityBuffet, please share your source of awesome music!

They have a great little court where you can sit outside and they have outside seating in the front of the restaurant. Cute cat cones to visit different tables. Tasty food but the reason for four stars is because the hinkali we ordered where not great and one type was obviously lacking salt.

Extremely tasty food! Nice location and fantastic atmosphere as well! We visited this restaurant two times and enjoyed several dishes. The khinkali is one of the best I ever ate. Sometimes it can take a while before they bring it to you, especially when the restaurant is packed, but its worth the wait.

I was trying to figure out the menu & one aggressive waitress was trying to move me to another table because she had some guests who might wanted to sit in my table. She asked are you going to order something or just checking!! She did it because maybe my I am from another part of the world & there was no fan in their backyard, it was hot.

Had only a soup, it was ok, maybe i need to visit it again to see its level. ... Just had a dinner, the food is good, the place is spacious and really nice decorations.

I love Khinkalis and spent 2 months in Georgia eating them at least twice a week. This place looked very nice, the service was good, but the Khinkali was mediocre. The filling on both I ordered was sweet which is a very odd thing for a savoury dish. There are better places to get Khinkali in Odessa.

Friendly georgian place with good food in a great location (center of the city). They didn't have English menus but waitress explained us everything we needed to know.

Delicious food, positive atmosphere, helpful staff. Also there is an outdoor dining area in the garden.
