At the time it was called Allenstein but there were many ethnic Poles... Myth... the Nazis were the ones who persecuted the Poles... Truth.. if a Polish child was heard speaking Polish at school in the early 20s (Weimar Republic) they had to go in on a Saturday morning to be beaten for their "crime".... The Nazis took it to genocide but systemic persecution had been happening for decades

Foods were fine. You have to wait a bit till someone come and take your order. Beers are good there. The advantage is that it has nice view.

We were warmly welcomed and served by a very friendly waitress. Still, I believe the place is best enjoyed by adults who want to unwind in a charming atmosphere.

I must admit that this was probably the best find in Olsztyn. Located right in the city centre, the browar is one of the topmost breweries in Poland. Its picturesque location by the Łyna River in an ancient mill overlooking Olsztyn Castle makes it such an eye catchy attraction. The location where the brewery stands today used to be a historic mill destroyed towards the end of World War 2. The brewery that stands today on the foundation of the Old Mill is one of the prime attractions of Warmia Masuria today. Because tourists get to relish the best of brewed beer on site. Even better, we took a guided tour of the entire facility, where one of the brewers took us through all the equipments lying there and explained us the entire process of brewing. The tour ended with a wholesome gustation experience wherein we were served six different flavors of beer. It was a unique experience for us, one of its kind. Make it a point to visit this facility when you're on your trip to Olsztyn. Keep in mind that you have to make a prior booking here. 🙌

Very disapointed. We asked if the presentation shows planets and stars before buying tickets and were told it does but all we saw was a view from earth of the night sky, they did not show the planets close up, zoomed in, they just looked like stars in the sky. The man who described the constalations clicked the wrong buttons and did not speak clearly. It just looked like a black screan with white dots for 45 min. Will not return. You can see more of the galaxy on google or netflix.

So fun! I really enjoyed my time there. They have options in English too for foreigners. Its also a great place to relax, the narrator's voice combined with the dark ambiance and cosmic yap is somnabulic experience.

Enjoyable park with a variety of people. Parents bring their kids the park. People ride their bikes along the bike path. There is river where ducks swim against stream and receive bread from feeders. There was a decorative water fountain but it wasn't in use whilst we were there. The flies were kind of annoying though, but what can you do.

Fun place for kids, we were there Friday at 2pm and it was empty. Slide was a bit much and kid got some air and bruised his butt, be careful 1st time.

Good experience, the only problem is that there is no real medium difficulty as level 2 is already too demanding while level 1 is more for kids.

My family and I visited the rope park at Lesny park linowy while traveling in Poland. We paid 50 zl each for our two children, as instructed on site. However, after our visit I checked their website and saw the actual listed price was 35 zl and 40 zl for the routes. I was very disappointed to discover we overpaid by 25 zl total, just because that is what we were told to pay on site. Rope parks should honor the rates advertised online, rather than charge more without transparency. While the activities may be fun, this billing discrepancy has discouraged me from recommending this park until they improve their billing honesty.

Pretty good. They don’t speak English but very kind people. Tracks are smaller than what I’m used to but I think it’s pretty good. Their bridge walk is very scenic so good if you like pictures.

Trails 1-3 should be quite fine for anyone reasonably fit, and not too overweight, while #4 is a bit more demanding, and might be challenging. Do bring your own water, as they sometimes run out, and you're stuck with the sweet stuff :/.

Poorly organised at least for the time I visited which was a weekend day early in the afternoon. 20 people in the queue takes an hour to buy tickets. Then you have to get into a queue to get the harness and a helmet. Bad luck I needed one for a 9 year old as they did not have enough to supply for good three or four children awaiting to get one from someone giving up theirs after they had their go. I dare to say this venue is highly understaffed as four to five of staff was manning ticket sales, snack and ice cream sales, pre course training, donning the harness dressing and guiding to the start of a course (there are four) As much as the venue itself is a five star activity park, this cannot be said about the logistics as clearing a 20 minutes route (13 year old) is hardly a treat after two hours of frustration.

Went there for the thrill, but we're afraid of heights. It was scary at first, but was worth it. We took the medium course and we quit in the middle (with regret). But the long zip line was cool too.

Even though a table was shown to us by one of the staff members, we were later told we could not sit there as the entire area was supposedly fully booked- only to see it remain empty during our entire visit. The forest arboretum is located near Olsztyn. The access is good, there is free parking at the entrance. A large family card is honored. Highly recommended. A knowledgeable guide introduces you to the world of the animals with interesting storytelling. And the friendly dog that accompany you makes everyone smile. We arrived an hour before the park closed and missed the first half of the group's commentary, which wasn't a problem at all. However, the guide was kind enough to offer us a special tour in the end. The animals are accustomed to people, calm and relaxed. You will know they are being cared for with love and affection. This is one of the best memories of our trip to Olsztyn. Visited about year ago, however I have to admit one thing. Nature, animals everything was perfect. But, there was a gentelmen I presume a guide, absolutely astonishing performance by him. You can truly see that every parrot has its own unique personality - some prefer adults, others love to perch on buggies - but all of them are absolutely stunning, well-behaved, and clearly very well cared for. The staff is fantastic ❤️ knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to share interesting facts or help you interact with the birds. It’s such a welcoming and enjoyable place for both kids and adults alike. I’m sure visiting will become a new family tradition for us every year on vacation! Highly recommend!

It has potential. I did have some fun, but unfortunately a bird damaged my jacket. It was also chaotic I kind of stood around for a while waiting for something. I think honestly the biggest problem is its understaffed. No way 1 person managing the front desk and inside can help with everything and still have energy on top of that. However if you dont mind the chaos and are very comfortable around birds its worth a shot.

Been to 4 of these around Poland and this is the worst in term of feeding parrots. The staff were friendly by they lack small birds and you have to wait and try really hard to get bird onto your hand. Would be one star but the young girl that works there put parrot onto my daughter so at least she had one on her, even if only there for a few seconds.
