The worst experience I’ve ever had. Pneumatic boats are just disaster, they were full of water, the whole time you’re seating in cold water, paddle just tremendously uncomfortable. Chances of having kids just incredibly decreased, if you know what I mean.

Unfortunately we struggled to find some parking and the prices for a ticket for 4 were expensive. We decided to hike/walk back down but be careful it is quite steep. Apart from the ride up, there is a bar and some statues planted around the place so not much else to do.

Wow, what an experience. The shocking state of the place really got me today . I visit Szczawnica after 10 years from Australia with my boys . It was embracing. My kids ask me -“mum you pay so much money to get in and the place is full of rubbish”. Play ground for kids was surrounded by pile of trash, wooden gates , rubbish . The view bench full of rubbish and vodka bottles.It was disgusting,. Ladies toilet was only for a gentleman who works in the cable train and the man toilet was only available for everyone. Rest of them were close . Was absolutely horrible experience as a lady I have to go to the gents because gent looking after cable train were using ladies. I was told this in cafe -when I ask this is not on. Lady told me it is how it is . The safety hazard was everywhere. Szczawnica - you can do better

Fantastic trip! This is a small enterprise run by two Polish brothers. We met Andre (not sure how to spell) who was very communicative, both via email and in person to arrange our adventure. He gave explicit instructions and spoke English well. We decided on a 2/3 person inflatable kayak for my husband and I. What I like best about this company is that you meet and park at their site, then they drive you to the starting point and you finish the trip back at your car. This way you are in your own time table for a relaxing float/paddle down the beautiful river and through the gorge. We would by far recommend RiverFun over any other company for your trip! Only missing was the warning at the last rapid 100 meters before the end point. Here we got stuck against the rocks so the boat was slanted and filled with water. It should not have mattered where are we from and besides we spoke with him in fluent Polish because that’s where we originally from. Throughout the whole drive back he kept being rude and did not take any responsibility. He said he informed everyone on the first stop when to get off but as we were at the very back of the bus, and the music was playing in the background by the driver, we had no chance of hearing it. He said we will not make it to the kayaks and he will take us back to the office where we would have to pay for the transport (?). Later he called someone and made the effort to say “the ladies are unsatisfied with our service” in quite a belittling manner. At the end it turned out we can still go kayaking but we would go without a group, which we agreed to. The whole misunderstanding would not be so significant if it weren’t for the drivers lack of manners and the fact that the company tried to make us pay for being dropped in Slovakia and taking us back. We suggest reminding this member of staff about basics of customer service. Kayaking down the river was a great experience but there are different companies that may take better care of you.

This is a legendarny place. We attended the concert of Mateusz Smoczynski, which was really fantastic. But this is a real sheepfold so one cannot expect extra-comfy chairs and sophisticated drinks. One sits on a bench, at a big wooden table and can have a beer or a glass of juice. If there is great music, that might be more than enough, but some more delicate folks can be disappointed - that is the warning.

I totally believe it's a unique and wonderful place. So much that I spent five hours getting there especially for a concert. Which was cancelled at the last minute - I think not enough people came. I'd like to try again, but it's a very long way away.

Many people simply don't want to make a fuss by coming to the gallery out of sheer curiosity and looking at the works.
