EXCELLENT wines! My wife and I went through Canon City on our way to Durango just so we could stop here. The staff was so friendly and helpful, cool patio to sit and sip, Highly recommend to stop here if your in the area.

Friendly staff and excellent wine! Nice outdoor seating with a small band playing. Had the sweet wine flight and all 5 were excellent. My wife liked her dry flight also. There was a gift shop/store attached with lots of cool stuff, too.

Such a fun, amazing experience highly recommended. I’ve been going to this ever since and found out through Facebook. It is truly a little Gen in Canyon city festival for two days. I’m from Denver and I personally planned around my fall around this festival where it is usually a Saturday and Sunday ,stay inside the town and do a little staycation and then enjoy the whole day. The event is free, but if you wanna do the tastings, this is $12 for The for a few tastings and you get your own custom glass . If you find a wine worth it as I did, then you can buy the bottle and tell me it is worth buying one bottle of drink. I want to take home. Such a fun event.
Jessica C — Google review
Took my mom here for a beautiful mommy daughter date! The winery shop is cool, outdoor setting is nice, vineyard views, very reasonably priced wine tastings, nice staff, & relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Mikaela V — Google review
Loved it here! My family took me here for my birthday and it could not have been more perfect. We sat outside at one of the nice picnic tables in the grass and listen to some beautiful live music. The surrounding area is beautiful with the mountains in the background, the winery in the foreground and the Abbey nextdoor. The wine tastings and snacks were delicious. It was kid friendly and dog friendly as well. It had more Grasshoppers than I have ever seen in one place. We had fun walking through the vineyard watching the ground move as they leapt. The kids loved it.
Andrea W — Google review
Highly recommend stopping in. Everyone was very welcoming and checked on me. Tasty dry wine flight with relaxing live music. Dog friendly! One person brought my pup a water bowl and another person offered a dog treat. Super cute wine shop.

Friendly staff and excellent wine! Nice outdoor seating with heater. Had the Dry Reds wine flight and all 5 were excellent. My MIL had the mixed flight and she liked them There was a gift shop/store attached with lots of cool stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will recommend them.

We opted for the VIP tasting. It was a great value. Mac was our host. He put together a wonderful charcuterie assortment for us. Mac was knowledgeable on every wine. He provided a wonderful experience. A lot of guests who were enjoying the patio purchased flights; they seemed to be popular and there was no skimping on the pours.

Railroad company
The Royal Gorge Route Railroad is a historic excursion railroad that takes passengers on a scenic two-hour journey through the steep-sided Royal Gorge. Operating since 1999, the company offers year-round excursions from Canon City to Parkdale, Colorado, passing underneath the impressive Royal Gorge Bridge. The gorge itself is a natural wonder created by wind and water erosion over time and is home to the tallest suspension bridge in the country.
Our experience on the Royal Gorge Railroad was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we boarded, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of, setting the tone for an unforgettable ride. The views were absolutely breathtaking—towering canyon walls, the Arkansas River rushing below, and scenery that pictures just can’t do justice. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime perspective you can only get from the train. We chose the first-class experience, and it was worth every bit. Comfortable seating, outstanding service, and delicious food and drinks made the journey feel both relaxing and special. The combination of luxury and natural beauty made the trip unforgettable. If you’re visiting Colorado, this is a must-do experience. Whether you’re after adventure, stunning views, or a little bit of luxury, the Royal Gorge Railroad delivers it all. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience on the Royal Gorge train ride. We had many reservations because we were from out of town for our wedding and the staff were so friendly to try to seat us all together. Rainey the Sales Manager was so pleasant when I contacted her about linking our reservations. The views are absolutely stunning and the food and drinks were amazing! The staff were all friendly and attentive. Thank you for hosting our reservations. It was such an amazing way to kick off our wedding weekend!

I'm from Charlotte, NC. My son wanted to come to Colorado for his 21st birthday. We've never been here before. I booked this train ride along with meal and photo tickets. The customer service was impeccable, the food was great (we had burgers and chips, and drinks), but the views were absolutely stunning. Nothing line I'd ever seen before. I definitely recommend!! It's truly a 10/10.
Clarissa J — Google review
Great time on the train! Our server norma g. Was awesome, and her helper. She made sure we were covered with food and drinks the whole trip. The food was delicious and cocktails 🍸 were great. The views were fabulous 👌 also! Great gift shops, overall a great day!!!
James N — Google review
This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Colorado Springs area. The staff was amazing. We had lunch and drinks on the train which was very good but expensive (what isn't). The ride was two hours and was very smooth. We didn't want to pay extra so we just got seats in regular coach then went to the open air car and enjoyed the very beautiful scenery. Try to book early so you get seats on the left side as this is the river/scenic side.
Kristine S — Google review
We had a wonderful experience on the Royal Gorge Route Railroad! We did both the 3:30 ride and the laser show, and both were absolutely amazing. The views were stunning, and everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming. A special shoutout to our waiter, Payson — he was fantastic! Friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this trip! 🚂✨

The Museum of Colorado Prisons, located in the former Colorado state women's prison, offers a fascinating look into the history of prisons in the Canon City area. With exhibits dating back to the 1920s, including 30 cell displays, a gas chamber, and confiscated weapons, visitors can explore the daily lives of wardens, guards, and inmates from Colorado's territorial period to modern times. The museum also showcases some of the region's most notorious prisoners.
Very interesting. Of course the prison is beside the museum and still running. Museum use to be a woman's prison. Full old gas chambers. Crazy how far back in time they were used. All interesting stuff.
Sharon M — Google review
Very interesting - so much to see! We learned so much during our visit to the prison museum. The history is amazing and you could spend many hours looking at the artifacts and reading the stories. If you’re in the area I’d definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out.
Chad H — Google review
Very interesting. Reminds me that evil isn't new and still exists. Plan on at least an hour or more it you are someone who reads displays. If you like an odd attraction, this fills the bill very nicely. Glad I stopped.
Glenn S — Google review
So much information! We went not knowing what to expect or how long we'd be there and let me tell ya, you're going to need an entire afternoon to read and soak in all the articles of info everywhere. Really cool place.
Broncoboy2020 — Google review
This was one of the best places I've been to. I never knew much about the prisons. I learned so much. It was exciting to learn about prison escapes and the like. I would recommend it to anyone
Summer R — Google review
Such a unique experience. We spent about 2 hours here, and definitely could have spent a couple more if you read everything. Worth the $15 admission. Don't need to prebook online, just walk in.
Bollens — Google review
Great introduction. What prison life was and is like. Covers a variety of prisons Colorado, including the federal supermax and Florence, Colorado. Well worth a visit.
Dana H — Google review
The Museum of Colorado Prisons in Cañon City is a unique and captivating experience. Set in a former women’s prison, it offers a chilling and authentic glimpse into the history of incarceration in Colorado. Walking through the old cells and seeing the artifacts gives you an eerie sense of what life was like behind bars. One of the most striking exhibits is the preserved gas chamber, complete with detailed information about its history and use. It’s both sobering and thought provoking, making you reflect on the justice system’s evolution. The museum staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the self guided tour is easy to follow at your own pace. Whether you’re interested in history, criminology, or just looking for something different, this museum is an absolute must see. Plan for 1 1/2 hours to take it all in!

Royal Gorge in Canon City, Colorado is a stunning destination featuring a 995-ft. high pedestrian suspension bridge that spans the picturesque canyon where the Arkansas River flows. The area hosts year-round events such as the Music & Blossom Festival in May, the Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival in June, and the Harvest Festival at the Winery at Holy Cross Abbey in September. In addition to its natural beauty, Canon City offers outdoor adventures and proximity to metropolitan areas.
Be early to get a good parking spot. The train ride was amazing. You are greeted by professional staff who will guide to your assigned sitting area. Once the train starts it’s journey people are allowed to walk to the outdoor area and enjoy the ride.

We had such an amazing time here. Definitely an experience of a lifetime. We went on the Sky Coaster and Zipline.. WOW those are such a thrill. The gondola over the gorge is breath taking! Get there early and spend the day. The weather is ever changing so to ensure you can ride any of the rides, just make a day of it like we did!
Brit H — Google review
The new park is beautiful with plenty to do for all ages. We rode the tram (included with general admission), played on the playground, watched a movie on the history of the bridge, and of course walked across the bridge. General admission was pretty pricey at ~$35/person.
Emily J — Google review
Definitely worth a visit! We've gone about 30 times. I love it.
Debbie P — Google review
The Royal Gorge is one of the most scenic and beautiful landscapes that I have ever traveled to. Its vast and deep canyon is a sight to behold. The mountainous areas in the background make for an absolutely stunning set of scenery to take some really cool photographs at. The river running through the bottom of the gorge just makes it that much more beautiful to behold. I highly recommend checking it out.

A magnificent place to visit if you're in Colorado! Got here a little after nine o'clock in the morning and was able to pay the early-bird ticket price, which was a bonus as I wasn't aware about this. It also meant that it wasn't as busy as a little later on during the day. The lady who sorted my ticket out was really pleasant and friendly. There are ticket prices for other activities which are clearly displayed in the main building, such as the zip-line if that's what you'd like. But I just got a standard ticket, which gave me free access to ride the gondola to the highest point of Royal Gorge, and the views are pretty spectacular! There are other places to get marvellous views too throughout, so there's no shortage of vantage points. There is a bit for kids and a little pond, where you can feed the fish too (although I think the fish food container was empty). There's a place to sit, relax and have a bite to eat and a refreshing drink, all whilst taking in the surrounding views. Walking back across the bridge was a brilliant experience, with even more views to admire. Definitely glad that I took a drive here, and well worth it. So if you're in Colorado, definitely visit Royal Gorge!
James C — Google review
Take pictures at the walkout next to the displayed train or unless you are ready to pay US$32 per adult at the visitor centre which we are not going to pay about $100 for family of 3. Collectively we agree to keep the $100 for the entrance fee to hot springs later. Remember to bring your selfie stick and capture some nice memories. There are free access restroom right outside the visitor centre. They are quite dirty and toilet papers are all over on the floor.
Trina T — Google review
It was incredibly windy when we got there. A small storm front was blowing in, the bridge was moving big time. I thought it was cool, but I could see how that might terrify people. The gondola was closed due to the winds so that was a bummer. We went to the indoor birds of prey raptor show on the far side on the bridge in the theater. It was AWESOME!! Devin was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and funny. I didn’t take any photos because we were front and center and I didn’t want to make any sudden movements and wind up with a face full of talons. If you haven’t been to Royal Gorge, it’s a really cool way to spend a couple hours.

This is a wonderful museum that is a surprise with the historic exhibits and the dinosaur bones. It is very well done and it was free the exhibit of historic clothing “Head to Toe” was quite good. Also “Dalls” room was very interesting. We took well over an hour but we love museums such as this gem. Also a great history of the Royal Gorge bridge. A short walk from the Royal Gorge Railroad and worth the visit.

We stopped in the other day, as we are working on a documentary and were seeking some archival newspapers, and the SECOND we walked in we were warmly greeted and immediately shown exactly where to go. The staff was so pleasant, helpful, sweet, and friendly - they made our research process SO simple by promptly tracking down two file folders filled with information on the subject we were after. This place is SO cool and I cannot recommend visiting enough - it’s even free and on a donation only basis!!! Thank you all so much for your help with everything - we cannot express enough gratitude for you!!

Loving this spot. I haven't been to the older location so I don't have a reference. I thoroughly enjoy the art, having never experienced art either 😄. The calm atmosphere and individuals involved with the growth (artists, staff, board) make this place a unique experience that I thoroughly enjoy. Being inquisitive has again been met with answers and patience. The rotating art is awesome giving the Center For the Arts depth and range. Art classes with practicing artists, crafts, kid's classes make the Fremont Center for the Arts pop. Truly an enjoyable place.

Fun art center housed in a historical post office building. They offer great classes for adults and youth, as well as weekly homeschool art classes. The gallery features local artists with a new theme each month and is free to browse. The first Friday of every month is the opening reception for the new theme.

This was my first class at the FCA and I was very much pleased. India Beach is a wonderful instructor and her class was very helpful to me. I am not an abstract artist however, I found this class to be very helpful in teaching me to go with the flow and to loosen up! I even liked my finished art work, which is a rarity with me!

Restaurant
Pizza Madness is a vibrant and funky restaurant that has been voted as Fremont County's best pizza for over a decade. The place offers award-winning pizzas made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients in an environment focused on sustainability. The dining room is adorned with colorful local artwork, creating an eclectic atmosphere. In addition to their delicious pizzas, the restaurant also serves sandwiches, pasta, and crispy baked chicken wings.
Great atmosphere, fantastic food and reasonably priced! We had to find our waitress for refills, to get our bill, and then pay the bill. Would dine here again. Restrooms were clean.
Heather A — Google review
The pizza was some of the best I have had in Colorado. Compared the Springs, this blew it away. No contest. I got the Pesto Colorado and after a hot day at the Gorge it hit the spot on levels I didn’t even think were possible. Each bite flowed right into the crust, with the only thought left in your head “I need more.” Maya was absolutely fantastic and knew I would need a box without even me asking. Read my mind, literally. 10/10
123tegus — Google review
In short...pizza good, service bad. We were on vacation in Canon City and stopped by Pizza Madness for lunch due to good Google reviews. We arrived at 11 am on a Sunday. There was only 1 other table with patrons and so we were greeted right away and our drink order taken. When she came back we ordered. She delivered our salad in a timely manner. Our pizza took almost 40 minutes to arrive (with only 2 tables plus someone who came in later who must have ordered ahead.) *I see now on the website it states 25-30 minutes for their crispy bottom pizzas and that you can order ahead.* The waitress could have mentioned the time when we ordered as a reminder (since we weren't locals) or as a suggestion, put it on your menu. Here is where the service went down. She delivered the pizza and we never saw her again, ever. Not a "How's the pizza?" "Can I get you some more water?" "Do you need a box?" "Are you ready for the bill?" Nothing, we sat there even to the point that I was on my phone sitting sideways and no one was eating pizza at our table any more. She came as close as the next table to us. The only way I could have gotten her attention is if I had walked up to her while she was there. We finally found another gal who was more than happy to get us a box and the bill. The restaurant was a little busier at this point but it is no excuse. Either get more waitresses or have them be more aware of their tables. Our other complaint was that there was a worker cleaning the front door (near where we were seated) with an aerosol window cleaner. The ceiling fans were on and the smell spread. I jumped up immediately and asked her if she could do that after we left. She said no problem. Please clean your windows before anyone gets there. I am sure I am not the only fragrance sensitive person.
Jenny U — Google review
This place is really 80s style and the pizza is delicious. I Went here with my mom, little brother, mom, my aunt, uncle, my 2 cousins, my cousins 2 boys and my other cousins baby. The art on the wall is really retro and the ufo on the wall is a really nice feature.
Jackson B — Google review
Our waitress came and took our order shortly after we arrived. We probably got our pizza 15- 20 minutes later. We ordered the "Special" pizza and It was great! We had to get up and go to the bar and get our own drink refills because our waitress went MIA. The great pizza and prices made it worth the effort even though the service was horrible. It seems most locals order takeout because we saw at least 12 different people pickup to go orders in 30-40 minutes we were there. My recommendation, go there for the food, not the service.
Karen K — Google review
Spent a day in this area on Royal Gorge train. Coming from the east coast we know pizza pretty well. We ordered a large thin crust pepper and onion with red sauce with a few beers and it was awesome. Pizza had a crispy crust and was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Servers were extremely pleasant. Highly recommended.
Anthony — Google review
The food was awesome. I wasn't thrilled when I said I didn't want a receipt because I trusted them. But I wish now I would have kept all receipts! My order was a little over $75. Which was fine. I left a 20% tip which was about $15.75. That is a total of about$90 or so. When i looked at my bank account this morning there was $101 taken out. 🙃 so sad that honesty is a thing of the past. It will be a while before I go back and from now on you can bet I will get a receipt! I hope it was worth it for them and I pray God will show them the wrong! I will pray for them!!!
Pam M — Google review
Pizza Madness is a must-stop every time we visit. This place has become a family tradition for us, and for good reason. The atmosphere is funky, fun, and full of personality—totally unlike your typical pizza joint. Their handmade pizzas are absolutely delicious, with unique topping combinations that you won’t find anywhere else. You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. Whether you're a fan of the classics or want to try something a little out of the ordinary, there’s something here for everyone. The crust is always just right—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—and the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you're in town and craving pizza, skip the chains and check out Pizza Madness. You won’t regret it!

Skyline drive is one way road with wonderful view of both sides. Only 15 miles/h is speed limit to drive safely. Old prisoners made this road and it's awesome driveway.

We did it! Im thankful we've been in Colorado for a few years now and got acclimated to the altitude and the mountain driving, or else this would have been quite terrifying!! Staying locally for a week we saw this and knew about it from others so we made the decision to just do it. Now we can say we have driven the Skyline road. There is no cost to drive yourself up. And it is only a 10-15min road, unless you stop and get out at places. I read that the local prisoners helped build it back in early 1900s, I think they did a great job 👍🏼 I will admit, as passenger, there was a sec there at one point I did feel my heart rate increase ❣️

Super cool place to take a nice scenic drive. It's not very long, but the views are amazing. If you head up early in the am you can catch the sunrise from a few different spots. 👌🏽☀️ Definitely recommend. It's free and although there is no (none that I saw) wheelchair accessible parking spaces - you could totally enjoy this entire drive from the comfort of your vehicle. ❤️😇 There are no real parking spaces for anyone, just pull offs to take pictures. Go for it!! & Watch for bikes! Share the road.

Great views along this one way thrilling ride, not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights. A couple of trails at the top that also leave you feeling "on edge". A must if you're in the area/ passing through and can handle it.

Finally made it there and I wasn’t disappointed! The road is narrow but the views ? Take the camera ! You won’t regret it !

A short and very scenic drive. A local shuttle driver we ran into on one of our hikes suggested we take this drive to see dinosaur footprints discovered in the 80s. We found the cliff wall but couldn't find the footprints. We, like bumbling tourist that we are, looked suitably dumbfounded; a nice local man and his four footed "Gracie" stopped his jeep and pointed the prints to us. He also gave us a bit of history. It turned out he is a tour guide for Colorado Jeep Tours. Info card to follow. A must short short to the end. You will end up in Canon City. It has a really lovely historic old Main St. with 95% of the stores open for business. It is literally blks from where you board the Royal Gorge train tour.

Nice view in this one-way road that ends in the town. A little bit narrow but really worth it. He videos and pictures doesn't show the real experience and the beauty of the place. Be careful I you are afraid of heights. Road is narrow and a little bit scary for some people.
Edgardo R — Google review
This short but exhilarating free drive is located only an hour southwest from Colorado Springs. We drove it during sundown and was not disappointed by the views. You are literally driving along a narrow ridge line. There are several spots to pull off and park. There are also several hikes at the top where you can walk along the ridge with amazing 360 views of Cañon City and the mountains. Do it at night and you will get beautiful views of the city lights. Overall the drive is super short but if you stop and do some of the hikes it can take around an hour depending on speed and frequency of stops. Definitely a quick must do if you’re visiting COS, Cañon City or Pueblo.

Fine dining restaurant
Le Petit Chablis is a charming French restaurant known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious homemade pastries. It's an ideal spot for special occasions, where you can take your time to savor the made-to-order dishes. The menu features classic entrees prepared by Chef Daniel, such as catfish filet, puff pastry stuffed with crawfish, and perfectly cooked lamb.
Food and service was excellent. We started with the house Bourdeaux white and red wine and escargot. Ossobuco was extremely tender and the sauce was heavenly. Wife had perfectly cooked lamb. Crepes for dessert can’t be missed! Pain Perdue/bread pudding was good but should’ve tried the gateau au chocolat. Highly recommend for French cuisine!

Great place for a special occasion. Make sure to spend two hours to truly enjoy yourself. The food is made to order. The asparagus salad was delicious. Enjoyed every bite. Each entre was prepared by Chef Daniel. The catfish filet was a little over seasoned yet the puff pastry stuffed with crawfish with very tasty. The rice on the salmon needs to be prepared with more spices and seasoning. The hollandaise sauce was fresh and fluffy. Needs a bit more lemon juice to bring it all together. The service was there when you need them but not intrusive. When someone is celebrating something special please make a note of it. I'm not looking for a free dessert but for future guests it makes them feel more special when you acknowledge what they're celebrating at the beginning of their dining experience. Hope you continue to do well with this beautiful restaurant.

Visited for a bachelorette party dinner. Ava was our server, and on multiple occasions she expressed her impatience with us. At one point she realized she was yelling over our table and even stopped herself by saying “not to yell.” We got together to celebrate a friend and her Aunt had flown in from Hawaii, of course we all wanted to visit. The food was absolutely delicious. As a pescatarian, I asked Ava if anything came with my salmon dish, other than the fish, because I didn’t eat any meat, only seafood. She assured me it didn’t. Only later, when she brought out a plate of wild rice and veggies for another vegetarian at our table did she say, “the chef made the wild rice for you because the white rice is made with chicken stock.” I was so upset and disappointed. I specifically asked if ANY meat products were used and I was assured that they weren’t. People with dietary requests expect when they make those requests known, that they are honored. If they can’t be honored, let us know, we will gladly go where they can be. A member of our party also had a black piece of plastic in her food. She bit into it and when she let Ava know, she just asked for the piece of plastic and asked my friend, “do you want to keep the plate?” No manager came up to address the issue. For the amount of money we spent, and the service we received, I can tell you it was definitely not worth it.

Excellent food and service! I can't comment on authenticity, but everything my wife and I ate (gumbo, duck, soup) was delicious and with hearty portions. The owner was so helpful and accommodating. I think they may be changing their hours on Fri and Sat to close at 8:30pm so perhaps call if you may arrive late to check.

Latin American restaurant
El Caporal Family Mexican Restaurant is a down-to-earth eatery located on Main Street in Canon City, offering a mix of hearty Mexican and American dishes alongside an array of Mexican beers and large margaritas. Visitors can expect authentic Mexican and southwestern cuisine, including popular options like enchiladas, tacos, burritos, carne asada, and fajitas. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and courteous staff create a pleasant dining experience for guests.
Really good Mexican food! I had tacos al carbon. My personal preference is soft corn tortillas when I order street like tacos. The tortillas were flash fried in oil that introduced grease to the taco. I suppose others would prefer that. My wife had a tamale and chicken enchilada. We both ended up eating off of her plate as it was phenomenal! Great beans and rice. Very attractive dining area. A MUST if you're in the Canon City area and craving Mexican. Somebody had fajitas next to us and they smelled super good! We will definitely be back!

This is real Mexican food. It was so good. I haven't had tacos, rice and beans like this since I ate in San Diego California. I felt like it was homemade. My husband's dish was just as good. The restaurant is very clean and the waiter was very attentive. This place gets very busy and I can see why. Enjoy
Dot S — Google review
This was an awesome choice. All the food and service were great. The portions were much bigger than we needed, and we over ordered. All the sided were good, and the Chile Rellenos were exceptional. The Chimichamgas were good, but I probably won't order again. They had a lot of chicken that tasted like it was canned and a little flavor different than we are used to. Just a suggestion for management, put the guacamole on the side it is something some people really like, and to some, it's a turn-off. Overall, it was a great place and will return someday.

I’ve heard it is the best Mexican food in canon city. I think the rumors are right! The servers seem to really care about the business and are friendly. The food was excellent. Try to chili relleno! Salsa had just the right amount of heat and sweetness. As my husband just said, “Wow, that hit the spot!” Will definitely be back on a regular basis.

My wife and I have been loyal customers for 1 1/2 years eating there 2-3 times a month. The food is fantastic but the service needs improving. You would think the staff would recognize returning customers but no, we are treated as if we are strangers every time. Last Friday the waiter served two tables ahead of us even though we had been seated before them. Not very friendly but the great food keeps us coming back.

Amazing! We went with a group of right and they handled it no problem, everyone got a recommendation, and everyone was happy and satisfied before the good even came! Cañon City Brews & Bikes is a local bar with a bike-themed interior and a relaxed, homey atmosphere. The place offers a decent selection of food options, including the popular Fatty burger and corn cheese nuggets. Visitors can enjoy fun outdoor games like basketball and cornhole while savoring their meals. The friendly service extends to offering mechanical help for bikers in need, along with valuable local trail insights.
This is a perfect place for a quick beer and lunch or appetizers in downtown Cañon City, with games in outdoor area to play. My family and I ordered a mix of food, all very delicious. Our server Reese was quick to deliver food and drinks. She was also helpful in answering questions about the area we had, we appreciated that.
Brian K — Google review
I ordered the Fatty and added bacon. I know, I know, choices were made. We also ordered the corn cheese nuggets. I loved ALL of it. They had fun games outside, basketball, cornhole, and tons of space. I biked here with a friend of mine and we needed a tiny bit of mechanical help. One of the owners came out and helped us! He knew about local trails, best practices, and optimal weather conditions. I'm a complete stranger and live in California but everyone here treated me like a local. I'll never forget that. If you're thinking of bringing a large group here, the only thing I will say is, they have personal bathrooms and could potentially have a line on a busy night. That's not a reason to avoid a great place like this but at least you can be aware of it.
Ejay M — Google review
Rarely does a business get 5 stars. That would mean EVERYTHING is impossibly perfect. Enjoyed the friendly service and had a burger that was excellent. The description has “fat” and was the most expensive and really hit the spot. Had probably 4 draft ales. The stronger beers make the BRONCOS tolerable. Lol. Quaint/homey feel to the place and didn’t realize what they have outside making for future enjoyable experience. Will definitely check it out again when in town.
JustMe — Google review
Fun local bar in Cañón City. The bar is bike themed with bikes covering every surface of the bar’s interior. I would recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a place to hang out and grab a drink or two. They also have a decent selection of food options if you want to eat here… but it aligns more with your standard brewery/bar food than that of a full restaurant.
Keith P — Google review
We are staying in Breckinridge and my wife got altitude sickness so we chose Canon City as a lower altitude location to drive for the day. We immediately found this place and realized it was a great place to spend a few hours before heading back. The bar inside was nice but we headed outside to the beer garden. Cornhole, basketball, and jinga to occupy the kids as I had a few beers. We ate burgers and street tacos. The kids said the burgers were ok and the beef street tacos just ok. The atmosphere and the staff were great. Definitely going to return.
John G — Google review
Underwhelmed. 2 stars for beer selection, 1 for food. Chips are salsa are Tostitos from the store. Burger was not cooked to “well”. The only saving grace was the Mac and cheese which was good. I usually take food home and are not taking anything with us from the left over burger and chicken street tacos.

With nearly sixty miles of public land along the river, there are ample opportunities for anglers to access prime fishing spots. The guided rafting trips provided by experienced guides like Austin and May offer a perfect introduction to families or first-timers looking to explore the Bighorn Sheep Canyon.
My experience with Arkansas River Tours was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I reached out to check availability and book my adventure, everything was smooth and clearly communicated. On the day of the activity, I arrived with plenty of time for the necessary preparations, and the entire team was incredibly supportive—especially for those of us trying this thrilling activity for the first time. All the equipment was in excellent condition, which made me feel very safe. The highlight of the day was our amazing guide, May—a young woman with the perfect balance of leadership and cheerfulness. She gave clear and precise instructions, essential for an outdoor activity that comes with its natural risks, all while keeping the energy light and fun. The rafting route was breathtaking, and I would do it a thousand times over.

We had a group of three that took the Royal Gorge tour and a group of six that took the Cottonwood Family float. We were treated great. The booking experience was smooth. The employees at both locations were very helpful when we arrived. Both Guides, Austin and Katharine were great! they each put in the effort to get to know us and made the trips very enjoyable. The Royal Gorge trip was more adventurous and Austin made the trip fun but I always felt that safety was first. For for the Cottonwood float we had a 6-year old and an adult with developmental disabilities. Katharine did a great job including them and making it fun for everyone. I would definitely book through ART again.

Big Burger World is a rustic, window-serve joint located in Canon City, Colorado. It offers a variety of American staples such as burgers, fries, and shakes. The restaurant is known for serving the biggest and most flavorful burgers in town. Many visitors find it reminiscent of old-time burger joints from their childhood. The place has outdoor seating where you can enjoy the amazing Colorado weather while indulging in their huge burgers. It's recommended to bring a big appetite as the portions are generous.
The hype is real. The big burgers are really big! And the patty is not dry at all. Look at all that bacon! We love the shakes, there are quite a few flavors. Have driven down here like four times now, coming from Colorado Springs. It’s worth the drive. They also serve chicken sandwiches. Go on a day trip and enjoy lunch down there!

Pretty much overrated food, but locals think its great because they have few choices. Onion rings not seasoned and burgers were just normal with weird pickles. Shakes might be highlight, but nothing special.
Brad H — Google review
Stopped by Big Burger World and had the Bottle Cap Burger — hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The fried jalapeños gave it the perfect kick without overpowering the flavor, and the patty was juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every burger is made to order, and you can absolutely taste the difference. I also love that they offer three different burger sizes — the small was perfect for me and just the right amount of food without going overboard. While there’s only outdoor seating, the setup is comfortable and adds to the local charm. Whether you’re passing through or live nearby, this place is a must-visit. Delicious food, friendly service, and totally worth the stop.

Excellent burger place, doing things the old fashioned way. The 1/2 and 1 pound burgers dwarf the normal burger I was expecting. Food is cooked to order by an experienced staff. My husband and I love coming here on Friday nights to get burgers and fries! We enjoy calling ahead to order so we can just stop by and grab it when it’s ready. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing. Stopped here by random chance on the way to Royal gorge. Amazing food. Humongous portions. I’m from Texas and was not ready for the portions. The food was incredible. I am so glad we ended up here by random chance. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Cute small sushi grill. Lots of variety on the menu. Being from the California coast where sushi is fresh we were a little hesitant to try the sushi, but the chicken was really good. Did have a plate of shrimp and it was good. The service is friendly and quick. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is nice for a quiet lunch/dinner. We may be back to give the sushi a try. Nice to have some dining options in a small town.

Food was great! Large portions. Fast service. The miso soup was delicious. They also have this miso ginger dressing that was good enough to drink! I did swap rice for egg noodles and was a little disappointed they didn't have more flavor but they were still good and went well with the beef. Lots of options for sushi, bento, and noodles.

I tried the hand rolls. There were two other people in the restaurant and it took over 20 minutes to get a hand roll . I was really surprised that my eel hand rolls were cold and there was one little itty bitty piece of eel included in the role. It was mainly a lot of rice. I also had the salmon skin hand roll, which had a little salmon skin on the top but I don't really feel like there was any down through the roll. It was mostly filled with rice also. The presentation was nice. But if I'd wanted a bowl of rice I would have ordered it. You are greeted as you walk through the front door and you get a lot of attention while you're eating . The parking lot is pretty crowded. There are a couple spots right in front of the restaurant. I didn't get a chance to use the restrooms. The restaurant was pretty clean but overall, I didn't get that real clean feeling. I might give them another chance. Everybody can have an off day. Hard to compete with my favorite place "Sushi Thai Salida. And for me it's just as far to get there as it is to this restaurant from where I live.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Royal George Bridge & Park. As a vegeterian, I saw very less option and it was not marked/highlighted too. My dad ordered salmon bento box, brother ordered chicken bento box, I ordered tofu veg bento box. I told the server that I dont eat meat but eat eggs. In my bento box, I got non veg sushi & with veg tempuras, there was shrinp tempura too. The server informed me that it came with the set. It seems that they need to make a proper menu for vegeterians. In many places, the veg bento box has all veg conents. My food was ok but my dad & brother told their food was good. The portion of the food was good, the service is good & quick, decor is finely done.

For the area the food is decent, you can head to Colorado Springs and get much better food at a better price. They upcharged me $4 for just noodles and didn't mention an upcharge at all. Neither of our dishes were spicy enough. In fact, the drunken noodles were actually much too sweet. The red bean sesame balls were the worst rendition of the "red bean" filling we've ever had. Much too puréed, the dough was overdone and dry. The service and atmosphere was great though.

The food was excellent. Sorry I wont be able to dine there again before my trip is over. It will be my first stop on my next trip. I highly recommend the Royal Gorge and the Las Vegas roll.

The Owl Cigar Store in Canon City may surprise you with its unassuming name, as it's actually a long-standing family-friendly joint known for its classic burgers and fries. Despite its humble appearance, this over 100-year-old establishment offers an authentic experience that feels like a step back in time. While the menu is simple, featuring mainly burgers and fries, the food is described as affordable and satisfying.
Came here upon the recommendation of our tour guide from Arkansas river tours. Great little place for burgers, fries and shakes at a decent price. Very simple. Ketchup, mustard, pickle, and onion. No lettuce or tomato. Service was quick. Then you just go up to pay and tell them what you had and they find your ticket. Takes both cash and credit.

Here's my take on this locals secret: We came in, excited about what we had heard, and sat down. The place was a bit unorganized, our table was backed against a pool table but we were stull hopeful. The waitress was nice and took our drink orders. She later brought our drinks but forgot two. We reminded her when she took our food order. For my burger she asked if I wanted everything on it: mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles and grilled jalapeños. I said yes. That sounded great. We ended up waiting for 45 minutes. Two of our drinks still hadn't arrived. I looked around and no one that came around the same time as us weren't being served either. Finally, our food arrived. My burger didn't have any of those items and had pickled jalapeños, which i don't like. We reminded the waitress that brought our food ( a different one) of our drinks not arriving. 10 minutes later a man came to check on us and we told him and he brought them right away. I don't know if this was an off day or constant. The burgers were just OK and very small, especially for their price. The egg was a nice touch. The fries were not great. The shakes were decent. The soda was good. Overall, based on my experience and the taste of the food, I won't be returning and I cant recommend visiting here. D-. Don't believe the hype. I've had better burgers in this town.

The BEST bar burger in the world!! They taste the same as they did 30 years ago! Great service. Love going there. Sometimes the wait is kinda long when they are busy but definitely worth the wait. I like to go in off hours so it's not so crowded. My grandsons' favorite burgers and shakes.

If your looking for a 5 star place with great food, great atmosphere and service, this is it. The Owl was purchased in 1903 and had remained in the family every since. Great little, locally owned place to get great hamburgers and enjoy the company. Highly recommend coming here if you are ever in Cañon City.

Owl was suggested by our rafting tour group, Lost Paddle. No frills, just really good burgers. They were right. We had a huge group and got singles to triple cheeseburgers! Yes, a few of us got an egg. The shakes were good and the fries were soft and hot. They had ketchup and Louisiana on the table. I mixed the 2 to season the fries. Match made in heaven!
Dennis M — Google review
The best little burgers, excellent fresh fries, and service that is top notch. We sat at the bar, and the waitress, although super busy, chatted with us while she was making malts. This is a delightful, place to grab a delicious burger.

Biryani restaurant
Nirvana Culinary Paradise is a charming family-owned restaurant that offers an authentic Indian dining experience. The establishment prides itself on using imported spices from India to create classic dishes like masala, curry, and tandoori. With indoor and outdoor seating options available, guests can savor their flavorful meals while taking in the downtown ambiance.
I didn’t expect to find such a fantastic Indian restaurant in this isolated part of Colorado, but Nirvana in Cañon City truly exceeded my expectations! From the outside, it looks like a small place, but once inside, I was blown away by the spacious seating and top-notch ambiance. I ordered the tandoori chicken, which came with four juicy, fresh chicken legs. The spice level was mild, just enough to enhance the flavors, and it was served with basmati rice. However, I found it difficult to finish the rice since there was no curry to make it moist. I also tried the biryani, which was full of rich spices and had great quality. The restaurant was lively, with many families dining in, which speaks to its popularity. I would highly recommend Nirvana to anyone looking for delicious Indian food near Cañon City! The only drawback I noticed was that the staff didn’t clear tables promptly. Even after we finished our meal, some tables with leftover plates were still uncleared. That’s one area that could be improved, but overall, the experience was excellent!
Robin M — Google review
They have really good selection of Indian food. Quality of food was amazing and service was top notch. Very clean and peaceful establishment. If you are around canon city Colorado, this place is a must.
Rakshya L — Google review
Honestly, I didn’t expect such a good Indian restaurant in and around Canon City. We were visiting the royal gorge bridge and the train nearby and craving for Indian food. They serve delicious veg momo, paneer curry and garlic naan. It’s new and it is really good. The restaurant is capable of seating many people at a time which I didn’t expect in a small town. The food portions offered also does justice to the price of the food.
Shriraam M — Google review
We ordered the Mix Platter, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan. The shrimp in the mixed platter was undercooked. Butter Chicken is the one dish expected to be good in every Indian restaurant, but they didn't even get it right; the gravy was runny and didn't taste good. Not a good experience, especially for the price paid."
Sreelakshmi N — Google review
We found this to be awesome . Didn’t expect such great food, and fast service . Recommended Dishes - ( my spice tolerance is quite high ) 1. Lamb rogan josh ( spice level 5 ) 2. Chicken dhaniya ( spice level 5 ) 3. Chicken chilli ( spice level 5) Dishes not recommend- 1. Chicken Momo ( felt like frozen stuff from trader joes or Costco ) Pros - 1. Fast service 2. Ample parking 3. Great coffee shop right across the street 4. Ample space Cons - 1. It’s costly
Golokesh P — Google review
Pretty good Indian Cuisine. Good naan, butter chicken was tasty. Price reasonable, Kheer was tasty.
Kipp D — Google review
Good Indian food offered in a casual dining environment. Nice location with bar, dining room and outdoor seating as well. Service was very friendly and fast. Food was authentic and very tasty. Spice scale is 1-5 with 5 being "Indian Hot" and we were very happy with 2 and 3 levels. Naan was fresh and delicious! Great find in a small town with not many other authentic offerings. If it's Indian you want, definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Kel C — Google review
My experience at this place was below par. My fiance and I didn't feel welcomed at all. I visited this restaurant as they had a big advertisement on the way to Royal gorge and they claim they provide very good service. The place was mostly empty and still it took over 10 mins for staff to get us seated. They didn't take our order for the next 10-15 mins and they never checked on us after they served food. I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't visit it again either. The food was alright, but I'm not sure why they would put spring onion on top of shahi paneer. They don't go together. When I ordered Raita / yogurt drink, I was expecting it to come in a big bowl because that's how it's served, but they brought it in a tiny little bowl smh.

Fremont Provisions in Canon City, CO offers farm-to-table dining with a focus on capturing the unique flavors of the region. This community-oriented restaurant locally sources its food and beverages, providing a friendly atmosphere on Historic Main Street. While some visitors found it slightly expensive for the quality of food received, others appreciated the knowledgeable staff and pleasant service. Overall, it's considered a nice place to enjoy lunch or dinner while exploring Canon City.
Stopped by on a Friday evening, passing through town. We had the stuffed mushrooms, the rib eye steaks, and two ice-cold beers. The atmosphere was perfect, and it embodied what an old town should feel like with the flavors of an upscale restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Good: kind service and brought dog bowl proactively to our pup. The salmon bowl was pretty tasty overall. Inside has a nice atmosphere. Not as good: two hairs in my salmon bowl. Salmon was definitely a bit overcooked. Wife Ordered a mocktail which clearly says it’s $7 vs $12 for regular cocktail. They still insisted on charging $12 even after I pointed it out… saying it’s due to using “alcohol free vodka.” Aka BS. Says $7 clearly on the menu.
Noodle M — Google review
The food was ok, but the French bread pizza was not as good as we hoped. Mainly because we expected a pizza, it was just a lot of bread to toppings ratio. Additionally, the cutting board it was served on was well used with cuts and probably not the most food safe anymore. The server was great and on top of our needs for a big group. I enjoyed the chicken salad.

We have had several great meals here driving from CO Springs back to Salida. The food is really delicious. Wings, pulled pork, Philly, burger, all top notch. The food is scratch and it tastes like it- love it. Drink menu, beer, wine, great selection. Service can be slower if they are understaffed. Regardless, they are super friendly and busting their tails. It’s just I think they sometimes get caught with a rush they could use another team member or two. Atmosphere is great. Historic feel, quality decor, lots of tvs for sports.

Stopped in for a bite after work, and enjoyed the outside patio seating, had 2 orders of the dry rub bone in wings. They came out fresh and fast! They were so good I had to come back today for some more and they did not disappoint the second time! Our Waitress Katie was fantastic keeping our drinks topped off and making her rounds across the restaurant!! Will definitely be back and pass it along I already can't stop talking about these wings! If only I could add this picture of wings to entice you all!!

My husband and I stopped for lunch on our way home to Texas, and this beautiful, fun and charming place did not disappoint, in fact we enjoyed every minute! First of all we were greeted by the sweetest server, Trinity, who made us feel so welcome immediately!!! We had the chicken BLT, I had onion rings on the side, which were the absolute best I’ve had in years! The sandwich was SO delicious! You can definitely tell that everything is fresh! We highly recommend this restaurant, the prices are reasonable and like I said, we had the best server! Thank you Trinity! You made our experience even more amazing!💕

Hiking area
Tunnel Drive Trail Head is a popular starting point for a scenic riverside path that leads to three granite tunnels and offers stunning mountain views. The mostly level dirt trail is perfect for walkers, bikers, and joggers, with benches along the way to rest and take in the scenery. While the initial incline is steep, it flattens out at the top, providing an enjoyable experience for visitors. It's important to bring water as the trail can be hot and exposed to the sun.
Fairly steep incline at the start of the hike that made us very aware that we are from a lower elevation haha but it was manageable and the trail leveled out. The views were breathtaking and the trail was well maintained. There are plenty of benches available if you need to take a little rest. Would definitely recommend checking this trail out!

Tunnel Drive was great. Kids loved it. Has a couple tunnels to walk through. Pretty easy trail once you get past the first incline. Great views! Easy to get to.
Mike V — Google review
Absolutely beautiful hike. You have to hike about 300 yards on a paved trail that is a little steep, but once you're past that it's all level. 2 miles in to a turn around spot or continue on a more advanced trail. We saw a small herd of big horn sheep at the turn around. Amazing views of the Arkansas River.
Lori S — Google review
Very interesting walk along the Arkansas River. The tunnels are on the first 1/3 of the hike. The rest is very exposed to sun with no cover so wear sunscreen and bring water.
Erik M — Google review
Absolutely worth it! Great views and loved the tunnels. There is a steep hill at the very start of the trail and then it is fairly easy. There is a bathroom by the parking area if needed. Nice hike!

Beautiful Hike with striking rock formations & the Arkansas river follows the entire trail . Lots of great photo ops with the tunnels & the colorful wild flowers look like an artist painted them into the landscape . Not a lot of shade so go early & wear a hat !

After a small climb to start, a nice flat out and back trail with views of the river and surrounding hills. You’ll see rafters and the Royal Gorge train go bye. You might spot bighorn sheep or other wildlife. We got to see a tarantula wander out on the trail when we were near the turn around.

Public golf course
Four Mile Ranch Golf Club is a hidden gem in Colorado, offering a unique and challenging golfing experience. Despite lacking some clubhouse amenities, the course makes up for it with its well-maintained condition and picturesque views. The friendly staff adds to the overall positive experience, making it one of the top choices for golfers in Colorado. With immaculate greens and an exciting layout, this course is definitely worth a visit for both locals and visitors alike.
In town from Kansas City and staying in Colorado Springs for a week. I had been looking at different options and came across Four Mile Ranch. Yes it was about an hour drive but it was really worth it. This course is a” diamond in the rough”. Th course is in excellent shape. I was amazed how undulating the greens were. The fairways were in great condition, greens were in great condition, and the tee boxes were in pretty good condition. Overall the course, staff, price, and views were amazing. The only thing that I wish would have been different was the size and selection of products inside the clubhouse. In closing I would like to thank Four Mile Ranch and their staff for making this a memorable day. I will be back.
Kansas J — Google review
Great track! Gotta play thee 2-3 times to get a feel for it. Playable. Lots of blind shots and incredibly undulating greens. There is no flat greens on the course. The course was in great condition. Not much of a club house but it makes up for it on the course.

For the money this is one of the best golf experiences you can have. When you pull up and see the facilities you instantly aren’t expecting much. However, the course is really good. Very unique. 3 completely blind shots in to greens. And I mean completely blind but if you hit the right distance you can actually get the ball close. Beautiful scenery. It really is a very unique course.
Madballnks — Google review
Beautiful and challenging course. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Good variety of holes that require a little bit of strategy. Never had real issues with groups coming up behind us or us catching the people ahead. All staff were really nice from the time we checked in, to meeting the starter, and the cart driver on the course. Worth the drive from Colorado Springs. Overall great experience and will likely be back again.
Patrick G — Google review
This place was the absolute best. My partner and I I paid for 18 holes, but unfortunately weather came and we could only play 9. Ricky, the general manager, and the rest of the staff, made sure that we were taken care of as we were from a different state visiting. The back 9 looked incredible though! Wish we could have played it, but definitely will whenever we come back to Colorado. If you are visiting and want a unique course but don’t want to spend a fortune, this is the place. Makes it so much more special when the staff is just as great as the course. Highly recommend!!
Nedim S — Google review
Went out and played 18 holes on this course this past week. Everything about this course was great. Met in the pro-shop (which is an in progress project) with a very pleasant fella and was made to feel that we were wanted there. The starter was very informative a set the tone for a very fun round of golf. From tee to green everything was in great condition. This course is an absolute blast to play. I will tell you, every club in your bag will be used at some time during this round. We were very glad we picked this course to play out of several others. Highly recommend this course to anybody looking for an enjoyable, but testing round of golf.

I live in Colorado Springs and belong to a lovely country club here… My son visits every year from out of the country and we try to explore different experiences together, including golf. Bicycle repair shop
Red Canyon Cycles is a relatively new business that has teamed up with The Bean Pedaler to provide a unique experience for outdoor enthusiasts. This collaboration offers a combination of great coffee and bicycle services, including rentals, gear, and repairs. One customer shared their positive experience with the owner, Scott, who went above and beyond to help them transport their bikes from Colorado to Florida. Another review highlighted the shop's excellent customer service and cool bike selection.
Rented eBikes for two hours. Rented online and stopped by the next day and we were off in 10 minutes. Made it to the Tunnel Trail and road along the river. Bikes were in great shape.
Ray C — Google review
The mechanic was friendly and didn't try to up sell me. They had a bike I would have bought the first time I went in and the mechanic flat out told me the bike was one size too small for me. I respected his honesty over just getting the sale. It's smart business, to keep customers trust and coming back. So, I had to buy my bike online even though I would have rather have bought it from a local shop. Because of their honesty and knowledge (taught me how to set up my bike) I went back in to buy pedals and accessories even if it would have been a little cheaper online. I do wish they had more stock and were open more often. I suspect biking isn't popular enough in the area to justify a larger inventory and longer hours. Nice store and I will shop here again.
Eric A — Google review
Rented e-bikes three times this summer from Red Canyon Cycles. Scott was very accommodating and prepared with bikes ready to go as soon as we came through the door. A very easy process to rent from them and a fun activity to do with friends visiting this summer! Thank you, Scott and RCC staff!

If you need bicycle repair don't go to this place they take money from you but they won't repair bicycle properly.
Mike F — Google review
Not only is Scott a great bike mechanic, he also took the time to educate me on how to maintain my bike in the future, which was very helpful. He seems to genuinely care about his customers. I also appreciate being able to make an appointment, knowing that my bike won't have to sit there for a week "waiting in line". The Handlebar is our favorite place to go for a drink too!
Sally E — Google review
My tale is lengthy. We left our motor coach in Cañon City, CO, to be sold following repairs. We unloaded contents and shipped them home to central FL but there was one seemingly insurmountable issue. We had 2 foldable Bike Fridays that we couldn’t find an affordable way to move them from CO to FL. I contacted Scott, owner of Red Canyon Cycles, explained my tale of woe and asked if he could sell a bike box to the repair facility housing our coach so they could pack and send. Scott did better than that. He went to the facility, picked up both bikes, packed, and shipped and they arrived very safely today. We’ve never met Scott nor have we been in his shop but he’s got to be the epitome of the Gold Standard of customer service to do this for non-customers and total strangers. I would like to recommend him, his shop, and everything that he offers that is cycle-related. Thank you again, Scott, for going way beyond and above for us.
Laura B — Google review
4 stars is a high rating for me. The only bike shop in this town. I had a good experience over all. I needed a couple of “things” and they had me riding again. This shop is five stars when you considered canon city options in to the equation. Please, stop by and support this business. They need us and we need them. Great refurbished old building downtown with coffee and a nice atmosphere. I just moved to town and I’ll definitely come by again.

Great service I have an older mountain bike. I needed the pedals swapped out. Scott was more than happy to oblige. He changed them in a matter of minutes. I will probably be in line for a newer mountain bike next spring and I will most likely be returning here to purchase locally.

Train depot
Canon City Santa Fe Depot is the starting point for a scenic train ride through Royal Gorge in Colorado. The leisurely pace of the journey allows passengers to take in the stunning canyon views, with stops at points of interest such as a river rafting campground and directly under the Royal Gorge Bridge. While some find the train's speed slow, others appreciate its nostalgic charm and excellent service.
The lobby was extremely crowded due to everyone checking in and shopping. Long bathroom lines. Excellent experience on the train. Our waitress was fun and knowledgeable. We had the meal which was very tasty. Our seats were on the river side of the train so that was a bonus.
Kim S — Google review
Royal Gorge train ride was eventful but nothing to write home about. The guides on the open air carts were extremely knowledgeable and definitely provided a high point for the experience. Food was mediocre at best, canned chicken on nachos and lack of any flavor left more to be desired for the price. It took us nearly 30 minutes to receive our drinks. The experience looks good on Instagram but lacks the same thrill firsthand.
Andrew F — Google review
Awesome way to see Royal Gorge, however…. The actual train ride is so slow it’s almost irritating. I think they could speed it up a little and still enjoy the beauty of the canyon. Also, the train stops 3 times during the journey. Once at the river rafting campground. Again to reverse. And again while your directly under the Royal Gorge Bridge which only adds to the time spent. Drinks and food are pricey (what isn’t) but you’re kinda warned about that on the website. Service was excellent. We opted for the more expensive domed car and were disappointed that it had a hard solid ceiling; the windows only curved slightly upward and were darkly tinted. So you really couldn’t see much on the other side of the train. We were fortunate that our tickets seated us on the “river” side for a more scenic view. Assigned seating is the absolute best, cuz there’s always the tourons that have to be first in line, first to board. With these tickets your seat is reserved no matter when you board. I gave it 4 stars only because it’s such a unique thing to do in such a beautiful area of Colorado. But the 2 hours it takes to go up and back could easily be done in half the time and once you’ve done it there’s no reason to do it again.

Led by the charismatic guide Craig, you'll explore the charming downtown area while soaking in stunning mountain views and learning fascinating historical facts. The tour includes thrilling off-road segments and even a delightful obstacle course that adds an extra layer of excitement.
Craig was our tour guide and he was great. He took the time to get to know us and made sure we were comfortable on the machines. He knows a ton about the city and made our entire ride so much fun. Both of us were first timers but now we are pros after learning from the best. If you're looking for something to do, definitely give this place a chance. You won't be disappointed!

On this 2 Hour Tour, we experienced History, Wild Facts, Off Road, Cute Mainstreet/Downtown, Beautiful Mountain Views, Insane Tunnels, and an adorable little Obstacle Course. Craig was SO cool, such a GREAT guy and perfect for First Timers & the Most Experienced. You feel like you've made a friend and gotten to know Canon City & Colorado History while getting a Full 360 Segway Experience. We didn't know this place existed because there's no website linked to Google but I am SO glad we called!!!!!!

This was our first ever Segway tour and likely a new tradition for our family vacations. Craig was so friendly and gave us a great way to see and learn more about the area. Highly recommend!!!

We went on the Canon City Segway tour today and it was nothing short of fabulous. Our guide Craig, was a great teacher, a great guide and simply made our tour lots of fun. The tour area was most beautiful with some city tour and some off road paths and tunnels and just fun stuff. This was our 4th Segway tour all in different parts of the world and this was hands down the best one. This is a must do activity in my opinion.
Tom S — Google review
Cañon City Segway was only my second segway experience but it was so much fun! Craig was our guide & he made sure everyone had the proper amount of training before we started our tour. The building they operate from is clean with a restroom available to customers. Once you're outfitted with a helmet & trained then your adventure begins. Our tour took us past some historic buildings where Craig would stop & give us a brief overview of each place. We even stopped at the original Territorial Prison built before CO achieved statehood. Then we headed outside of the city for some more adventure that led to beautiful scenic views. After Tunnel Drive we made our way back into the city via a little side street that led to a park adjacent to the Royal Gorge Railway. If you are looking for something a bit different, give Cañon City Segway a call. You will be glad that your did!

My family and I had a great time on our Segway tour with Craig. What a great way to see Canon City! We started out with a tour of downtown, then went over to the park by the river and on to Tunnel Drive. It was my first experience with Segway and I had so much fun! Thank you Canon City Segway Tours!
Rebecca B — Google review
This was an outstanding experience. We were a group of five, age 13 to 55, with two who had ridden a Segway before and three who hadn’t. Despite the range in age, experience, and comfort level, Craig kept everyone very happy. He let the younger ones do their thing while he stayed with the one who was less comfortable and made sure she was having a good time. He gave us a great tour of historic Canon City before taking us to the park and along the river. If you have the chance, let Craig take you up Tunnel Drive. I also recommend going early, when it’s cooler and less crowded.
Paul B — Google review
Craig was a fabulous tour guide! He was extremely positive and encouraging and gave us not only a nice historical tour of Canyon City, but also led us through progressively difficult Segway skill challenges. I had no idea how much fun riding a Segway could be. Thanks, Craig!

Cañon City Schools is a highly regarded school district with dedicated teachers and hardworking administration. The district stands out for its focus on preparing students for the real world, whether it's entering the workforce or pursuing higher education. The Capstone Project program is particularly noteworthy, enabling CCHS graduates to earn numerous college credits or even an associate's degree. Additionally, the schools prioritize safety and provide a caring environment for students to thrive in their education.
Super thankful for this school district. Our kids have amazing teachers that really go above and beyond. The administration is incredibly hard working. One of my favorite things is that the school district focuses more on preparing students for the real world (whether it be a full time job or college) instead of just focusing on the next test. The Capstone Project program is second to none. CCHS graduates often graduate with tons of college credits or even an associates degree.

Old Skyline Trail offers a variety of experiences, including popular routes like the Seven Falls Trail and the Skyline Drive Trail. The trails provide stunning views of Canon City and the Arkansas River Valley. However, visitors should be mindful of litter and unleashed dogs along the trail. The drive along this 3-mile ridge is not for the faint-hearted, with steep drops on both sides, but it offers breathtaking scenery.
Beautiful! Definitely worth the drive! Just be careful when you drive and make sure the weather is fine! In my mind its one of the most beautiful scenic drive in the US
Mahmudul H — Google review
The trails have been nice over the past several years since they were created. It's cool to walk up to Skyline Drive and look at Canon City and the Arkansas River Valley. There are trash cans and dog crap bags at trail heads. Parking for a few vehicles at the High Street and Washington Street trail heads. The bad are the water bottles and dog crap seen on the trails. Also, watch all dogs because despite the ordinance, dog owners are letting their dogs off the leash.
Marc M — Google review
Cool drive and great views. CAUTION This is about 3 mile one-way trip right on top of the ridge line, with steep drops on both sides. Not for the feint-hearted. Don’t try to turnaround!! It is an asphalt road about 10-12 ft wide. Starts on the highway west of town then ends on the residential streets in town.
Martin M — Google review
You can hike up or drive up Skyline drive either way a great view. Bird watching was fun because when they flew over the ridge riding the currents they were smokin.

Once you get past the fear of driving off the ridge of this mountain you can get to the top and it has the most awesome view! There are a couple side trails to walk on. While we were driving we got behind bikers starting at the beginning of the car drive and were met by walkers who started on the "end" of the car drive. So be patient and mindful of others.

Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is a 360-acre amusement park located atop a canyon with one of the highest suspension bridges globally. The 1260ft-long bridge was constructed in 1929 across the 950ft-deep Royal Gorge, which stretches for 10 miles west of Canon City.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Royal Gorge. The children enjoyed the playground, and we all enjoyed taking the gondola ride across the canyon. There were quite a few people there on the day we visited, but the grounds are expensive enough that it did not feel very crowded. We decided to take in the raptor show, and we’re very glad we did. Everyone really enjoyed it, and we thought it was much better than the 20 minute film about the gorge itself. My wife and I even did the zip line, and wow, it is quite expensive, we really enjoyed it and would recommend it! The bridge itself is pretty amazing and just walking back across it was one of the highlights
Kevin H — Google review
What a breathtaking place! The Royal Gorge is absolutely stunning — photos don’t even begin to capture the beauty and the scale of it all. We loved walking across the bridge, taking in the mountain views, and feeling that Colorado breeze. The flags lining the bridge make it even more special — like a walk through history and pride! The park is spotless and well maintained, and there are so many fun spots to stop for photos (especially near the water wheel and signs — those are musts!). It’s one of those places that makes you stop and really take in how incredible nature is. Highly recommend visiting if you’re anywhere near Canon City — it’s worth every minute of the drive. Gorgeous weather, gorgeous views, and a memory we’ll never forget!
Kim B — Google review
This is something everyone should put on their bucket list to see as it is truly amazing. We went early before it got windy and walked across the bridge. The scenery there is beautiful and the park itself is so nice and clean. We went on the gondola ride, saw the movie and a raptor show. Highly recommend.
Kristine S — Google review
An absolutely breathtaking experience from start to finish! The views of the Royal Gorge are stunning — truly one of the most spectacular places in Colorado. Walking across the bridge is both thrilling and peaceful at the same time, and the scenery below is something you’ll never forget. The park is very well maintained, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome and safe. The gondola ride gives you a whole new perspective of the canyon, and the zip line and sky coaster are a must if you’re up for an adrenaline rush! There are plenty of spots for photos, good food options, and areas to just relax and take in the view. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone wanting to experience one of Colorado’s most iconic attractions. Highly recommend spending a few hours here — it’s worth every minute! Walk the rim trail that's outside the park for some great photos
Mike H — Google review
The views are spectacular! The price for the tram is reasonable. For those that are not faint of heart there is a zip line to return you to the lodge side. But wait there is more. A giant swing will send you out to the edge of the gorge. The area is full of American history as well as fossils of ancient creatures. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thomas W — Google review
The Royal Gorge was a fabulous experience. Riding the cable car across the gorge was the highlight for me. Walking the bridge isn’t too far either. Highly recommend both! My toddler loved that we could ride the carousel 10 times in a row. We enjoyed the playground and spent a little extra to let our kids mine for gems which was fun. We had a picnic lunch under one of the pavilions with our kids and after we ate at the BBQ place which had delicious cornbread. All in all, it’s a family-friendly atmosphere that allows you to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Colorado!
Alexi D — Google review
Great place, amazing views. Nice kids area. The free gondola ride across the Gorge was neat too. Only problem was we got fleeced for $10 and some change for the old West shooting range of which none of the features except two worked. Kids were disappointed with that.
Chip E — Google review
Had such a great time but definitely learned our lesson! Take the gondola across and walk back due to hills. Loved watching the video and looking at some historic information in the building on the other side. Sad they were short staffed and couldn't ride the carousel with our son though!

The Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience is a captivating museum that offers an interactive and educational adventure for children. Opened in 2016, this attraction features life-size dinosaur exhibits, indoor displays, a theater, and a multistory ropes course. Visitors can explore genuine dinosaur fossils and lifelike animatronic dinosaurs while learning about the evolution of life on Earth. The knowledgeable staff provides engaging tours and activities for kids, making it an ideal destination for families and school groups.
We took a trip to Dinosaur Experience with a group of kids at my work and hosted our special event here. The staff members were so nice, excellent with kids and helpful! They were so accommodating to our group too. Even helped us with a cart move things to the conference room and even to the car! I was impressed! The experience, Every child loved it! Very interesting and entertaining! Colorado is so lucky to have such a fun and unique attraction for kids! Can’t wait to go back with my nephew and niece!

This is a great place to visit with the family. There are 5 total possible experiences you can pay, independently of each other. These include the ropes course, museum, children's lab, dinosaur walk and treasure excavation; unfortunately the ropes course was closed for the season, which is arguably the most enticing attraction.
Rider R — Google review
Such an awesome experience! We did the full experience including museum, dinosaur walk, ropes course, and dig pit. The ropes course was a lot of fun and allowed you to get up close to the life-size animatronic dinosaurs! We also enjoyed finding a variety of fossils, rocks, coral, etc. in the dig pit! The dinosaur walk was very educational and fun with the animatronic dinosaurs! I absolutely LOVED the museum as it had MANY different fossils and an interesting video on the history of fossil hunting. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Michael was very friendly and informative about the things we found in the dig pit! We had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit!

Fun little museum inside, while the walk is outside. You can pay for one of these experiences or both. I would recommend only the outside if your children are smaller and/or don't enjoy museums.....it was interesting, but when you have little that want to go you don't "get your money's worth" so to speak. The trail outside can be taken as many times as you wish, but keep in mind you will be in the sun without any shade to break in - though the trail is not long. Dino noises and movements are fun for littles as you walk the path and to my knowledge the dinosaurs are life sized......some of them could use a upgrade. Overall a fun family experience that you should consider checking out, if in the area enjoying over attractions.

We took our kids and went with 4 buses full of kids from the school. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and answered all questions (even the silly ones) from the kiddos. The ropes course was fun for the bigger kids and the younger kids had fun on the course for tiny humans. Lots to look at on the walk and in the museum. There's a dig pit, picnic tables, restrooms, gift shop and a place to get drinks and snacks. If you are in the area or have a Dino fan, I would recommend going. Sorry I didn't post more pics, those were the only ones I have without kids in them.
Cassandra E — Google review
This place is WAY overpriced for what you get. It may be good for toddlers but older kids and adults in my group were disappointed. The museum is tiny. The "theater" is a joke. It's more like an office waiting room with a TV. They put on episodes of Dino Dan on repeat. The dig site seemed to be the most fun for the little kids in my group. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the tour guide and his manager were really nice and accommodating.

Good memories of a place I took my two sons in 2003. Back then I drove them up the riverbed in my 4 wheel drive. Now in 2022 the riverbed has dropped considerably. I wouldn’t call this a park, more like a poorly maintained pull off with a few picnic tables. If you can look past the poor maintenance the creek is very nice to play in, especially when it’s hot. I’ll return but just for the water, that was nice!

The Shepperly Farm and Petting Zoo is a fantastic place to visit with children. The wide variety of animals on display, such as alpacas, wallabies, and a sheep dog, captivates the kids' attention. The staff at this establishment are not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the animals they care for. Although some visitors may have missed seeing certain animals mentioned on the website, there is still plenty to enjoy. One can even feed the animals if desired.
This was a great place to visit. My kids adored all of the animals, and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The website had mentioned alpacas, wallabies, and a sheep dog in addition to a long list of other animals, but we didn't see them for whatever reason. We were also hoping to feed the animals. Overall though, this farm is very reasonably prices and a lot of fun. Just wish you guys were a little closer to Denver so we could visit more often. Thanks for the great time!

A little gem in Canon City! Lots of different animals to see and they all are so sweet. Great for little ones. My daughter had an amazing time, especially with the wallabies! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they really love all their animals. Will be back soon, thank you for the amazing time!

Amazing farm with loving, caring owners (family farm) extremely knowledagble tour host, Ashley and her daughter. You can tell they care so much for each and every animal there. The animals were so well cared for and happy! Kids absolutely loved feeding the wallabys and walking through the farm. Fantastic and a must to do in Canon City. We loved holding the bunnies and are adopting one tomorrow from the farm! Yayy!

We had the best time at the petting zoo!!! These pictures are from last year! There were so many different animals and they all have great personalities! The owners were so friendly and outgoing! You can tell they truly care about the animals! I can’t wait to go back to see more! This is Cañon City’s little gem! A must see if you’re in the area!!!

42Royal Gorge Bridge & Park

Theme park
Historical landmark
Picnic ground
360-acre amusement park atop a canyon spanned by 1 of the highest suspension bridges in the world.
The views are spectacular! The price for the tram is reasonable. For those that are not faint of heart there is a zip line to return you to the lodge side. But wait there is more. A giant swing will send you out to the edge of the gorge. The area is full of American history as well as fossils of ancient creatures. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thomas W — Google review
Although I am rating this place 5 stars, I want to put a note out there. There is not a "Bridge only" option. Basically if you want to go out to the bridge, you are paying for that and all but one of the rides they offer there. I think Ziplining is excluded. I paid $39 to just access the place, which I think is a little much. If it was $25 to just see the bridge, then fine, but whatever. The view looking out and down at the Gorge is so relaxing and breathtaking. On a warm day, the wind up there is very relaxing and you just want to close your eyes and take it all in. I shot pictures of the 12:30PM Royal Gorge train outbound from Canon City which is a 15 minute drive from town. Seen from the bridge, almost looking down is the Hanging Bridge on the railroad, which of course is seen better from the train itself (See my review on that).
NS6677 — Google review
This is something everyone should put on their bucket list to see as it is truly amazing. We went early before it got windy and walked across the bridge. The scenery there is beautiful and the park itself is so nice and clean. We went on the gondola ride, saw the movie and a raptor show. Highly recommend.
Kristine S — Google review
Great place, amazing views. Nice kids area. The free gondola ride across the Gorge was neat too. Only problem was we got fleeced for $10 and some change for the old West shooting range of which none of the features except two worked. Kids were disappointed with that.

Park
Centennial Park Playground is a delightful park with various attractions for kids of all ages. The splash pad offers refreshing fun and operates on a reservation system, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. The playground features diverse options suitable for toddlers and older children, including climbing structures and river access. Additionally, the park provides shaded areas for snacks, a bike station, and scenic walkways around the Royal Gorge area.
We are from out of town and stopped by to get fresh air and grill out - this was the perfect park! Beautiful playscape, covered pavilion with picnic tables, and an awesome splash pad. However…the splash pad has kind of lame hours. We pulled up right as they were locking it up at 6pm 😒 Otherwise we loved our visit and would definitely stop here when in the area again.
Stephanie A — Google review
When my family travels our son likes to check out new parks. This one was great. Lots of climbing areas, great river view, and a water play area for little ones. Not a bad way to spend a few hours outside.
Terry S — Google review
We have been here 3 different summers. It is a fun place with a splash pad, a large field, gazebos, a duck/goose pond and the Arkansas River. I must warn others that the river can be dangerous, and at times is moving really quickly. I would not recommend going down it if you are not a good swimmer. There are plenty of little inlets where the flow is very slow and only a foot or two deep that is perfect for children to play.
Chris M — Google review
The playground is located in Centennial park next to Royal gorge and has a variety of features for kids of all ages, including a walkway, pond, splash pad, sliding structures, and benches and picnic areas. The walkway is perfect for a leisurely stroll or bike ride. The splash pad is a great place for kids to cool off on a hot day, and the sliding structures are perfect for climbing and sliding. There are also a number of benches and picnic areas located around the playground, making it a great place for parents to relax while their kids play. Overall, this is a great playground for kids of all ages. It is well-maintained and clean, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and safe place for their kids to play.
Bhaumik M — Google review
Came out for 4th of July but the splash pad was great, little worn but had fun implements for kids from probably 18mo to 9yrs old. The playground was also very cool, some fun challenges for lots of ages and great grass all around.
Joel M — Google review
We loved this park! We’re not from Colorado and came by it by chance and it was such a blast! The splash pad was so refreshing. It is by reservation but we were able to go in since the limit is 40 and there were only about 10 kids. Very sweet girl who was attending the area, she came up to us and explained the reservation. The playground was perfect for my 18 month old and my 3 year old enjoyed climbing the jungle gym. There is river access and we were able to soak our feet as we watched people float the river. Beautiful park!

Nice park by the river and scenic train station.
Farhan — Google review
So many things to do! We came for the royal gorge train ride, parked at the train station side, crossed the bridge. The playground itself is nice, though not huge. Slides, swings, spinning ride is popular among kids. Splash pad is there too, but due to COVID, you have to reserve the spot online ahead of time. Well, up to 35 spots can be reserved, no walk-ins. We didn't know as we were out of town (I researched and knew splash pad is there and working). There were less than 10 kids playing, so they were way under max capacity bit wouldn't let kids in. They should keep 50% reservations and 50% walk-ins as clearly people reserved the spots and didn't show up. I was told reservations can be made on city website 1 hr ahead (if there are available spots), which they didn't from 1pm till 5 pm on 7/18. I was sad to tell my kids they couldn't go on splash pad while there were 5-8kids playing there. There is also building with bathrooms (were closed) and the closest bathrooms we found were in train station. For the central playground that's not acceptable. There are 6 table/benches areas under roof for picnics and benches in several areas of the park. There is a lake with ducks and geese. Right next to playground is the creek with access. There are rafters, kids and adults tubing, and kids/dogs splashing. Overall great place to spend time with kids, bit they could work on a few things.

Canon City Rouse Park offers a comprehensive sports complex for baseball, softball, soccer, and pickleball. In addition to the variety of sports facilities, the park also features a playground and rentable pavilions. The spacious and picturesque open area provides an enjoyable environment for a morning walk. Although the bathrooms were not available during one visit, there was easy access to portable toilets. It is suggested that the playground be updated as some of the equipment shows signs of wear and tear.
Beautiful Park!! Kept beautiful, got everything!! Dogs can play, watch sports, and awesome playground for kids, pickle ball courts,, you name it, its there!

This is a really great park in the Lincoln Park area. It's usually very peaceful and quiet. There is plenty of playground space for children, and there are lots of paved walkways and open fields for dogs. The pickleball courts are especially well maintained, with a total of 6 courts.

Park
Off Leash Dog Park is a spacious and fenced area where your furry friend can run and play freely. The park offers an agility course, plenty of grassy areas, and an opportunity for dogs to socialize. While there are no shade trees, there are several seating areas available for pet owners. Visitors recommend bringing water for your dog as well as a hat for yourself. The park provides refuse bags and trash cans but could benefit from better turf to prevent dust or mud buildup.
Excellent open area for dogs to play! Has a few picnic tables, a pavilion, and a doggie obstacle/agility course. Walking track around the edge is about 1/3. No water on site, porta potty in the parking lot.

Love this Park! Best ever Park I have found while traveling. I will be taking my dog every day that I am here. It also has walking trails around the inside perimeter of the park for a nice walking opportunity.
Suzan B — Google review
Plenty of open space for the dogs to enjoy. Plenty of shaded seating for humans.
Joshua J — Google review
The updates are a good start. Added another table and a couple of benches. A new small dog fenced area. A new agility course. Marked path for distance. There is NO water. If you want water for your dogs you must bring it with you. There is a path to walk, which is nice grass is growing through some parts of it. Updates still needed-- Add water to the park. Another shaded area in the big dog area. Put in another entrance or exit in the big dog area.
Amy F — Google review

Lovely shady green park seems safe. play area for kids clean. Nice walking paths. Kids skateboard rink. Unfortunately I see quite a few dog poops even though there is a notice to pick up dog poops for owners. Otherwise a lovely spot. I had a nice break and lunch on a long car trip.

It is a great park. Very clean, great grass. I'm not sure the bathrooms work, and kids are always hanging out around then. The tennis area is clean, and picnic tables are a great place for a party. So far, very dog friendly. Just please keep poop cleaned up. It's nice not to have to watch for it.

low quality bathroom, even by Canon City public park standards. water pressure abysmal. the windows have no glass, and are at eye level for anyone over 6 foot to make eye contact with someone sitting at the toilet. spacious, room for activities.

Not a bad playground. It has swings and some slides, as well as plenty of picnic bench seating. The parking lot is close enough to the playground that you would be able to see your car from the playground. The only downside is that the tubes lied was broken and blocked off when we were there in early January 2022.

I go to the park a lot and a lot of people take thier dog to the park. They let them of their leashes to run free, which is scary if you don't know the dog and don't clean up their droppings, which is absolutely disgusting to see, smell or God forbid, step in. I've seen one lady with a huge brindle who always has her dog on his leash and always is ready with her like blue baggy when he does his business and if she can get down and be responsible I fit understand why the other, even younger owners can do it! And it's a shame because it is a absolutely lovely park. I didn't know people still threw horseshoes!
Steffanie G — Google review
Rydd Park had been a lovely place for gatherings all my years in Canon City. Church gatherings, ice cream socials, sit and talk, take kids to play and many other activities. Today was old friends getting together to have a picnic. All was well, until a group of youth showed up. They were having fun eating and playing around and enjoying some time st the park. It wasn't until they got up to leave that we saw what they had done to such a nice park. They left all their trash scattered on the grass, under the pavilion, and all over. We had to unfortunately call the CCPD for assistance. We had asked them nicely to pick up their trash, but only to be told "they didn't want to". The officer who assisted us was able to get past if the group to pick some if it up. But, some of the kids had already headed to the pool and basketball court by the pool. Do, their part was still there. How sad that some have to ruin it for all. Maybe some day it will go back to the park it was. But, today it was a disappointment.

I adore this winery. It offers truly distinctive wines and ciders. They provide opportunities to sample numerous wines without charge. Additionally, they offer delectable cheese and meat platters as well as a variety of merchandise for purchase. Recently, they introduced a wine and worship event held on the second Saturday of each month, which was an awe-inspiring experience where attendees participated in worship and engaged in discussions about passages from the Bible.
Love the experience!! They grow their own and they are amazing and very welcoming. I really recommend to anyone who hasn’t had wine before to go!

The ambiance and outdoor patio were great. The folks who run the winery were very sweet and extremely accommodating. The white wine was ok. All of the varieties had a tart after taste, but I only tried a few of their offerings so other varieties might be better. Husband tested out some of the red wines as well and said they were better than the whites.
