We had reservations and got right in. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy. We sat on the outside closed in porch with all the plants. The salad bar was amazing! The food was good too. We also had dessert coffee afterwards. More places need to do the dessert coffee because then I’d actually get dessert lol!

My wife Wei and I actually stumbled upon Log Jam Restaurant in Lake George by mistake, as I was driving towards Vermont, and honestly, it was the happiest mistake I’ve ever made! Ever since that first visit years ago, it’s become my go-to spot every time I’m in the area. The wood décor makes you feel like you’re dining inside a cozy Adirondack lodge, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The service? Always top-notch, friendly, quick, and welcoming. The food? Incredible! My personal favorite is the lobster roll, so good it deserves its own fan club. 🦞 Every bite feels like a little vacation for your taste buds. Amazing salat bar, I also LOVE their coffee. If you’re anywhere near Lake George, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it, actually, you’ll probably end up like me, finding excuses to come back again and again. Highly recommended (and when you try the lobster roll, you can thank me later 😉).

What a charming spot! So glad we were able to dine here during our visit to the area. The log cabin atmosphere is cozy and intimate with great attention to detail and festive fall decor. The staff are very friendly and attentive from start to finish. Their salad bar is excellent with lots of options to choose from. Our entrees were delicious and cooked as ordered. Special shout-out to our server, Stacey R, who was excellent and efficient. Highly recommend a stop at the Log Jam Cabin!

I was in the Lake George area and I was looking for food and it was in the middle of the day and I came across the Log Jam. I checked it out on Google and it was rated at 4.4 stars, but I’m always one to go in and try places even if they’re not highly rated because I know humans can often have varying experience and taste and expectations. Well, I started out with the bacon wrapped shrimp, which I have to say paired really well with a paradox pilsner. I ordered the cranberry chicken breast which came with rice which entitled me to the Salad bar. I have to say I haven’t seen a Salad bar since the 70s. Yes I know I’m old. Let’s hold all the comments. And I was pleasantly surprised by everything on the salad bar. I forgot to take pictures of the chicken, but here is a photograph of the bacon wrap shrimp which I would highly recommend and also a picture of the masterpiece of a salad that I made. I also got the bread pudding, but once again forgot to take a picture. Refer back to the above comment about me being old.

Nice restaurant in a rustic log cabin, many rooms plenty of seating. We had reservations and we were seated no waiting. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and they have a very large salad bar, we had a group of four. We really enjoyed it. 😋

Great food with nice sized portions. The salad bar has tons of options, lots of bread options as well. The dessert was absolutely delicious as well!

Great meal. The lobster roll was large and very reasonable priced. The salad bar came with the meal to my surprise, and that was fresh and filled with a lot of great topping options. The crab cake and scallop appetizers were fantastic as well. We finished with the apple crisp and it was delicious. I will definitely come here again.

I had a dinner here on a Friday night and had a very good experience. I ordered the smoked prime rib (available in 12 and 16oz) and a flight of beer. The steak comes with two sides - as you can see from my pictures, I indulged and got fries and onion rings. It also comes with a side of jus and sour cream. I chose to have it served “pub style” with mushrooms and caramelized onions. I believe these options to be the best incarnation of the dish 😁. You’ll see that the dish was plated and presented well. It was delicious and, as the name implies, it had a pleasant, unobtrusive, smokey flavor. As for the beer, I chose the - bear baked ale - Bobcat Pilsner - Mexican lager - Saratoga lager My favorite was the Bobcat Pilsner by far. Clean and subtlety sweet. My second was the Mexican lager, as it was tart with lime. The atmosphere was very nice with rustic decor as you would expect for a place in the mountains. I was seated near the bar and the place was packed that night, loud and boisterous. For a more peaceful setting, try their extensive outdoor seating, perhaps near the fire pit. I should mention that all the beer is brewed in house. Outside, you can see that they even grow hops. The plants crawl up trellises in front of a window where you can see the fermentation vessels. The service was very nice and attentive. Don’t hesitate to drop by and hang with friends over some great food.

The egg plant fries were awesome! As was the French onion soup, but the steak salad was fair but less than great. The beer was the Bear Naked Ale, which was very good.

Cute north woods vibe in this pub. Love the decor. Plenty of seating sections indoor and out. They brew their own beer so tastings are available. I was pleased to get a black bean burger. Fun bartender!

Very cute decor. We got our food and drinks very fast. Had to ask for the bill though like they forgot to bring it. Ciders were delish.

4.5/5 stars! We had a wonderful time dining here. The service was quick and the servers were attentive and kind. Also all our food came out hot and correct, I just believe the portions could be a little larger for what you pay for, but that could just be personal preference. We sat on the patio and it was a great atmosphere to have dinner in. One other thing is parking can be tricky, so get there early if you can. Overall a great experience.

This is a great spot to check out in Lake George. There’s lots of seating with a cabin like feel. I had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries. Overall, a delicious meal. I like adirondack cider they had on top with a cinnamon/sugar rim top. I would definitely go back.

I come to Lake George twice a year, and this restaurant never never lets me or my family down. Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere. This time I had the cider wings!!! And one of their home brew beers... Incredible. I'm so happy I chose Adirondack Pub and Brewery, my belly is happy 😊

Love this winery! So many amazing wines, I’m not into dry wines but the ones I tried were incredible. Everyone was super helpful, we had Ben mostly helping us and he was amazing! We bought more bottles than intended just from his tips. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Lake George!

Our server Carm was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of the varieties of wine selections. Her suggestions for my preference of dry wines white/red for my wine tasting experience was on point. Loved all my wines. Definitely will come back again.

Adirondack Winery truly made my dad’s birthday so special. This was our second time coming back after a year, and Amber was still here just as hilarious, welcoming, and entertaining as ever. We were helped by Maya and Ben who were wonderful. Maya was sooo helpful helping my extremely indecisive family choosing wines for our flight. We laughed, we ate, and we learned about the wonderful wines the Adirondack Winery offered. Thank you Maya & Amber for the cherry on top of a wonderful weekend in Lake George! We’re so excited to share the multiple bottles we got with friends and family after this trip.

What a great tasting room! The staff was amazing! Zach really knew his product and taught us so much, Paige was so kind and Ben was a good laugh! My husband and I had a great time trying all the wonderful wines! We even got some Bourbon. Try the Peach wine!! Can't wait to go back in Spring!

Good service and food. The only thing is that it's a big restaurant and the restroom is a 1 person men and 1 person women restroom. So you have to wait. Don't know why it doesn't have a bigger restroom since the restaurant so much space but besides that food is good

We stopped for an early dinner on our way through the area. There was a good amount of parking in the rear of the restaurant with a large staircase leading to the front. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and seated right away. Our waitress came right over and was very helpful and attentive throughout the meal. We ordered the pickle chips as an appetizer; they came out quickly and were very well cooked with a crisp exterior on a tangy dill pickle ring. For our entrees we ordered a verity of BBQ options two of the pick 2 meals, a rack of St. Lewis ribs and a cheeseburger (ordered with nothing on it). All of the food came out hot and as ordered. The highlights were the pulled pork and the sliced brisket the potato salad was also good. The ribs were also good but not as tender as I would like and the baked beans were not bad. The one big disappointment was the brisket burnt ends. They were a $5 upcharge on the pick 2 meal and were some of the toughest brisket I've ever had. The sauce was also rather sweet and did not go well with the beef in my opinion. To be fair I did not mention my issue to the staff, and the food was still good just not what I would expect for brisket burnt ends. Overall, this was a good experience, and I would recommend giving them a try if you're in the Lake George area.

I was so excited to eat here. We waited almost 45 mins for a table when we were told it would be 20 mins but we were good with it because everything looked good. The cornbread was moist and tasted amazing. The meats were a huge bust, just a straight disappointment. The green bean fries were amazing. The Mac and cheese was so plain it tasted like just straight noodles. The onion rings were really good. It was sad the sides blew the meats out of the water. I left 75% of my meal on the table and didnt even want a box when we left and that should say something about the quality of food. The outdoor vibes were nice and the heaters were great.

This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We arrived at 7:00 PM and sat for thirty minutes before anyone even acknowledged us — and that was only after we waved down multiple servers. Meanwhile, every table around us received attentive, friendly service. When our food finally arrived at 8 something, we were missing our sides and weren’t even given utensils. When our waitress brought out the utensils, they were filthy — dried food, stains, of what looked like residual mash potatoes, clearly unclean. Mind you all the clean utensils were wrapped and unopened but the ones we received were UNWRAPPED with stains. There weren’t even enough utensils, THREE forks were given when we had FIVE people. Yet they gave like six knives for whatever reason. When we asked for replacements, the server insisted they were “fresh out of the dishwasher,” despite us showing her the stains on the fork. She didn’t even apologize, angrily grabbed the stained forks away and said she’ll just bringing out new ones, but then proceed to disappear. After more back-and-forth, we finally got new ones ONLY after asking ANOTHER waitress but ONLY after ANOTHER 10 min wait. But guess what, they were still short one fork!! This time the utensils were wrapped, so the first waitress was clearly being disrespectful to us. The service throughout the evening was indifferent at best and outright dismissive at times. It was impossible not to notice the difference in how we were treated compared to nearby tables. The food was not good either, mac and cheese had a weird texture and it was flavorless. All the dishes were at room temp. Ribs could be more seasoned. Meat wasn’t fresh tasting, even though I had low expectations this was beyond that. Definitely wasn’t worth the wait and the awful service and experience. If you’re around the area just find another place, this isn’t worth anyone’s time. Highly not recommended.

We stopped for dinner & decided to try a few apps . Could very easily be five stars with food except our onion rings were very greasy & cold. The onion soup was way too salty to eat & had to terroir. Hence the three stars.

Bro good bbq doesn't need this thick sauce bullshit. 😂🤦‍♂️👎 mac n cheese has a weird texture. Fried green beans are good. BBQ is OK if you haven't had real BBQ but it's not worth the price for covering everything in thick space and not highlighting the smoked meat. Not real impressed. Service is decent and nice atmosphere. I wouldn't call it a smokehouse though.

Tonight we visited Barnsider Smokehouse BBQ. Let's start with the positives. Our server was super nice, the atmosphere was great, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately I have to say though that the food wasn't all that good for BBQ. So from a fellow BBQ Smoker, let me share some constructive feedback in hopes that others may have a better experience. First, the pulled pork was very mushy and the texture was not good. It was already sauced which led to the weird texture. My recommendation: good BBQ doesn't need a sauce. Offer your pulled pork slightly seasoned but not sauced. Offer your customers sauce bottles on the side and let them choose whether they prefer sauce or not. The ribs: the quantity of ribs (5) was really nice and they were the best part of the meal. However the seasoning and again the sauce on the ribs were not enjoyable. The brisket was just unfortunately unremarkable. Overall I didn't taste much smoke underneath all of the seasonings and sauces. With a few changes and improvements in technique, this could be a really nice place to eat. I wish the owners the absolute best and hope future patrons have a wonderful experience.

We got some coffees (roasted in shop) with some wonderful art in the foam. We ordered some apple pull parts which were delicious and perfectly sweet. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits breakfast and was very happy with the quality of the food. It was a cute little coffee shop with wonderful workers and a great atmosphere. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Lake George.

Add a drizzle of syrup, and you’re in heaven. 🥓 BLT Sandwich: Crisp bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes on toasted bread. Simple, but oh-so-satisfying. 🌯 Breakfast Wrap: Packed with eggs, cheese, and veggies – a hearty, grab-and-go option for anyone on the move. The service was quick and friendly, and the location? Came because I heard they had made donuts and cinnamon rolls, but there weren't any available. The server said she believed they don't make them anymore. The photos were from older reviews that I has seen. The cinnamon roll was good, but idk if I'd travel and spend $5 for it. It was just a bit dry and not my preferred style of cinnamon roll.

I went here because I heard it was dog friendly. It was. I went inside and ordered a pumpkin latte and a breakfast sandwich. The food and drink were amazing. A bee drciddd to take a nosedive into my latte, and the server, Trinity, went above and beyond to make sure I had a new, fresh one, but also to make sure we were comfortable. Trinity offered my dog water, was very nice, and made sure we had the best experience there. The atmosphere was cozy, the music was nice, and with the great food, I would go back. I think it is my new favorite coffee place in the area. I also love that the pumpkin latte clearly had a fresh pumpkin puree and not a spice syrup. The bacon on the sandwich was crispy, not burnt and tasted so fresh. I have been dreaming about it since. I definitely recommend!

The cafe is super cute but wait times can be long and we ordered a vegetarian omelette that unfortunately had a piece of bacon in it! Coffee was amazing though

We were recommended here by local friends, and Caffe Vero did not disappoint! We had the biscuits and gravy special and it was some of the most flavorful biscuits and gravy we’ve had! We also had a shamrock mocha latte and cinnamon roll latte - both were delicious. The best coffee we’ve had on our road trip so far. The barista even did beautiful art in our coffees. Highly recommend.

Sitting out on the covered deck watching board go by & reliving today’s activities from the beach through a child’s eye was priceless. Our dinner was excellent too! Service was good, considering how crowded it was, drinks were cold our waitress was wonderful & very personable, I’m sorry I forgot her name but was/is a first grade teacher!

Late night dinner after getting off the paddle boat. Water views and delicious food. I had the lobster roll, fries, and fresh summer cocktails. Wonderful way to celebrate a summer vacation. Lively bar with experienced staff. This place was large and I can imagine it gets very busy. But for a late night dinner, it was perfect. We rode bikes here so I am not sure about available parking.

The food is always good! Peaceful and pleasant place to eat. We come from out of town often and this is one of our favorites! Love how we can watch the water, boats and activities while eating. If you don’t mind outdoors this is definitely the place to enjoy.

Your typical seaside food joint with loud crowds and plastic basket fare. We ordered specialty cocktails of the season that were slow to come. Lost out in seconds. The server had to make several trips to get the order correct. All in all about what you would expect from an off season, crowded pub style lakeside organized chaos establishment.

Called ahead to ask about wait time at 6pm on Saturday night labor day weekend. No wait. Plenty of tables & covered outdoor seating! Fast service. Our waitress Shelby was very attentive with her busy tables & patient with my rambunctious toddler. Lobster bisque soup was good. Mostly pureed but full of flavor. Portions are good size for price.

Atmosphere was great, located right on the lake, good views from most seating. Took some time for 2 salads to come out for a Monday lunch time. A bit pricey, I get it your dining on a summer vacation spot, but paid over $20 for a chicken Ceasar salad. Staff was friendly

The atmosphere and view at this restaurant are absolutely beautiful. The space is large and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal. I really enjoyed the appetizers, especially the onion soup — full of flavor! The salmon was also very good, though I wish it came with a bit more rice. That said, the portion overall was satisfying. The waitress and host were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful views of the lake! The food and service were excellent! We had the Bavarian steak and Cajun salmon followed by the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was outstanding and I’m looking forward to returning on our next visit to Lake George.

To be honest, we were slightly disappointed with our night at the boathouse restaurant. For a highly rated restaurant, we expected better dishes. The Jaeger snitzle was very nice (Oktoberfest special), but shrimp linguine was okay at best. The pasta dish was drowned in sauce and tastes nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good, people we're respectful and timely for a busy night.

This is always a stop during our visits to Saratoga races ...the table we were seated at had the best view (even given the rainy weather), there was a cloud hovering over the water, it was so cool! Our food was good our waitress was excellent! Until the next time ...

We’re been here three or fours times before & after the 4th of July. Drinks are always cold, service & atmosphere are always superb. Great view of lake from outdoor patio with live entertainment Saturday evening.

Good food and view. Make reservations. It gets really busy and it can take a while to get your food so try to know what you want to order ahead of time and place your order with your drink order, especially if there are multiple large groups seated in your area.

We for lunch last week during octoberfest and had Diane as our waitress. She was friendly and attentive. Great view, a quiet late thursday lunch which we enjoy this time of year, as well as our week stay at The Lodges! I had a chicken sandwich, it was good but needed more seasoning, perhaps next time i’ll ask for it blackened. My husband enjoyed his turkey sandwich but got swiss cheese (he really dislikes swiss) instead of the cheddar he asked for. I encouraged him to speak up which he did and it was corrected promptly.. wine was good! 😉 overall, a nice time ! See you In the spring! 🌷

I went with my boyfriend, we were visiting Lake George for the first time. This restaurant was amazing, super friendly staff and great atmosphere. We sat inside at the bar and the bartender, Jim, was the best! We had a clam chowder (delicious) and the surf and turf with was so delicious!!! I couldn’t recommend this place more! We will come back for sure (:

Came here on a Saturday around 5pm with 3 others, got sat right away. The server (Peter) was very attentive and we received all of our drinks & food quickly. The quality of the food was very good for the price, would highly recommend coming here whenever you’re in the Lake George area.

This is my favorite restaurant in Lake George! We were greeted once again by Jim who is a great bartender and always is happy to tell you any info you need to know about the menu! Food here never disappoints!

Went to lobster pot with a party of 5, everyone's food was good. Got calamari and crab artichoke dip: calamari was ok needed to be fried a little more, dip was very cheesy didn't taste much crab. Someone got fish and chips breading was a little soggy, fries were very good. Someone got snow crab legs and they were ok. Someone got mahi fish tacos and they said they were good. 2 people got THE lobster pot meal full lobster, dozen clams,clam chowder and corn, everything was cooked right and tasted good. Only complaint about this place was the service was very very slow and our waitress wasn't that friendly. Spent over $250 for 5 peoples meals and appetizers no alcohol.

Super yummy! My mother-in-law took us here for our anniversary. Very good, how ever my husband does not think the salmon was not worth the price they asked for. How ever the lobster was very good.

Pretty gross place they served us fries on a broken dish. The mussels were disgusting unrecognizable bits of dry mushy grossness. The chowder was bland and the steamed lobster was small. To top it all off even though we didn't even finish eating one mussel they expected us to pay for it. Disgusting place save your money and go to lizze keays up the road.

Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Portions were a little smaller than I was expecting given the prices, but in general, food was good. My husband got the crab boil, which was way over-seasoned (for both of us). He could not eat more than one bite. Shrimp scampi over pasta was delicious and had huge shrimp. My kids loved their fried shrimp and mini pizza. The crab artichoke dip was also good, however, we didn’t taste much crab. It was our first time here, but reading other reviews, it seems like consistency is lacking across dishes.

Visited the area from Indiana. The restaurant was adorable. The waitress was excellent. The food was “interesting.” Husband ordered sirloin, med rare and it was cooked well done. A bit dry. His lobster was good. I ordered the pork shank with blackberry glaze. I couldn’t eat it nor the mashed potatoes due to the glaze over them which did not compliment anything. And the onion rings over everything was a no for me. Our friends, 1 ordered a chicken pasta dish which was just ok. The other ordered t-bone and it was fine, cooked according to the request. Salads were good, bread was very bland. The crackers and spread were delicious. All of the drinks were spot on. I’d say it’s a gamble to eat here which was so disappointing since it had all the ingredients to make for an excellent experience.

Visited this establishment for the first time just by driving by because my family and I were hungry. The overall experience was great. The hostess was accommodating to my party of (5). The waitress was kind, courteous and professional. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. It was filling. The Cesar salad with anchovies was different but it was good. Whenever we are back in Lake George, we will visit again.

Stopped by by chance & by chance was lucky to get two seats at the bar without a reservation! Our first time here, so we decided to try some apps & a lite dish. The onion soup was loaded with goodies, we both felt the onion soup was good but thought it lacked some color & that beefy-sherry taste that we’ve come to enjoy. The manhattan sandwich was superb, tender & full of flavor as were the fries. The early bird special look wonderful & we’ll be back to try them. Bar staff friendly & engaging. All in all , a great date night.

The three of us had the drunken ribeye, prime rib with lobster tail and Alaskan king crab legs. I was all delicious, hot and flavorful and the service was very attentive and friendly. We've been here several times in the past for birthdays , anniversaries and just general dinner out occasions and it never disappoints.

This was the first time that my wife and I had eaten here. We were celebrating our anniversary. Our reservation was at 6 on a Saturday night and they seated us on time. There are many choices for places to eat in the area but we chose The Caldwell House because of the good reviews especially about the prime rib. They did not disappoint. The king cut prime rib was huge, cooked to perfection and had great flavor. All of the sides were delicious as well. We took bread pudding home for dessert and that was amazing as well. Not only was the food great but our server was very friendly, attentive and efficient. We are looking forward to going back in the future.

Cadwell House is truly a wonderful restaurant. I rarely write reviews, but the exceptional service here deserves recognition. The staff is always warm and attentive, and I find myself coming back often. Having worked in the restaurant industry for years, I can say with confidence that the prime rib was cooked to absolute perfection. The only downside to the evening was the group seated behind us, who loudly complained about their meals. We overheard them admit they do this regularly to try to get free food, which was disappointing to witness. That said, this experience only reinforced my appreciation for the professionalism and grace of the Cadwell House team. I’ll gladly share the full details with the owner, and I will 100% be back to support this outstanding staff and restaurant.

The pepperoni pizza was excellent. Thin and crispy and would definitely order again. The meatball Parm sub was good but wish I had more pizza instead. Very busy with lots of pies going out the door! Will definitely return again on my next trip to Lake George!!

Shared a medium meat lovers with extra sauce. That is all we ate. Plenty for 2 people. Cooked too perfection. A delicate, crunchy crust with a good bite and flavor. Not over loaded with toppings. A really good pie at an appropriate price.

This place knows how to make real pizza and fantastic pizza! Legit! This place can hold its own against any downstate NYC based pizzeria. You cannot find anything like this in the area! The Lake George location makes amazing tasting and 100% legit pizza that’s perfectly cooked, with the perfect amount of crust. Take it from a former NYC resident that if your looking for real and legit pizza in Lake George that this is the place to go to and also worth a drive from anywhere else if you want fantastic pizza!

I cannot tell you enough how disappointing our dinner from pizza jerks was. We come up to lake George every year and this use to be our go to spot but the service and quality has gotten terrible. We ordered a pizza and buffalo knots. I use to love their buffalo knots, these were terrible, in fact I called to tell them that they got the order wrong because these looked like old garlic knots with no sauce. They called me back to tell me they were buffalo knots and that’s how they have been making them for the last year. PLEASE.if you’re going to sell buffalo knots then put some actual buffalo sauce on them. Being cheap doesn’t get you anywhere. One pizza and 2 orders of un buffalo knots was 40 dollars, and the pizza was terrible too. Sorry Pizza jerks we are done.

I was recommended this spot and I have to admit, it was better than Capri’s, which I have ALWAYS gone to for pizza. I found the pizza to taste like Papa Gino’s a bit and I was ok with that because I like PG’s pizza. I would definitely get my pizza from there. The employees were really friendly and I always give that a lot of weight.

Get the Root beer! The perfect atmosphere and staff for family fun! The food isn't what would bring me back.... But I'll be back.

We came here for dinner after initially going to Duffy’s across the street but leaving before being seated due to the extreme rudeness of staff. We were eagerly greeted here- all staff we interacted with were awesome. Service was prompt and attentive, the food was very good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would go again and definitely recommend.

The service was great! The waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is fun, although the bathroom smelled like heavy BO, and there was toilet paper all over the floor. This has always been a must-stop place for us every year the weekend of the Adirondack Nationals car show, but it was disappointing this time around. Our favorite food there was always the beer-battered French fries. Unfortunately, they don’t have them anymore. The fries were more like fast food fries, and when our meals came out, my husband’s fries were nice and hot, and mine were cold. I know this is my fault, but I’m not one to send food back so I just nibbled on them but didn’t have many. I had the macaroni and cheese which was good, and it came out nice and hot, but the portion was small for the price. For $18.99, I expected to have at least enough leftover for a snack later, but not even that. It was a very small portion for the price. A bit disappointing. Perhaps if the fries were better, I would’ve eaten them and had leftover mac & cheese for later. It’s not like we’re never gonna go again, but I hope they see this review and consider my critique when working on future menu changes. Also, I don’t recommend spending the money on the mac & cheese again, knowing how small the portion is. It tasted good but wasn’t like above average or anything, and wasn’t something I couldn’t easily make myself at home. When I go out to eat, I want food that is hard to recreate, that I can only get when I go to Moose Tooth (or whatever restaurant). It wasn’t the case this time, unfortunately.

Only giving this place a two star because the waitress was really nice. I ordered a blooming onion and it came out practically raw. The blooming onion in the picture was when they remade it and some of it was still raw. I ordered my steak well done and it was still pink in the middle. The waitress was real apologetic and removed my item off the bill which i really appreciated. The restaurant it self is nice but definitely would not return on my next stay in Lake George.

The only way to describe their homemade root beer is if root beer and cream soda had a baby and this was the result. It is perfect! The food is so good. I will say though the one hot sauce needs its own warning label 😂

My wife and I come hear whenever we visit Lake George and regardless of what we order is is fantastic! Laura was our waitress and she was exceptional. So friendly, welcoming and efficient. The Moose Tooth Grill is a fun, clean and welcoming restaurant. And I might add very interactive. If you visit Lake George, the Moose Tooth Grill is a must, you will not be dissappointed!

We stopped by this diner for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. The veggie omelet was fresh and flavorful, and the pancakes were fluffy and satisfying—definitely a highlight of the meal. The juice cups for kids were a thoughtful touch, and we appreciated that they provided a high chair, which made things easier for our little ones. Our main server was friendly and attentive, and the younger staff was decent, though they could work on being a bit more warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience was dampened when one staff member informed us that the kids’ cheese pizza was no longer available. The way it was communicated came off as rude and dismissive, which was disappointing, especially in a family-friendly setting. Overall, good food and mostly decent service, but the staff’s attitude in situations like this makes a big difference—a little kindness goes a long way.

I have driven by for so many years. Today I decided to stop. It's a charming page from yesteryear. Service was great, and the food was super. I ordered the fried haddock sandwich and could only manage half. French friens could have been a bit crispier. I'm not sure if they serve dessert, my waiter brought the check over before asking if I'd be interested. Which was too bad.

Loved it! We bought the pure Maple syrup as little extra touch 😋 the breakfast was spectacular! Awesome waitress on a very busy weekend. Definitely going back when we visit. The street right next to the restaurant takes you to Prospect Mountains. Don't miss that!

Wow! What a great experience at this retro diner. The food was good, and the service was friendly and fast. Excellent value for the price. I highly recommend anyone visiting Lake George to stop by this diner for breakfast!

This diner was a huge rip off. The service was extremely slow. We never were able to get refills on drinks. The food was mediocre at best and to top it all off, we got the bill and were shocked. For the kids size juice, they charged us $5 alone. Each of the other kids got a milk and a lemonade which were just under that. When I asked about the price of the juice, the waiter told me it is actually a good deal because we get more than an adult size juice.

Another stop and another great surprise. We had ear marked a place closer to the house but had decide to travel on as we went to Ausable. We found this place in lake George and we were not disappointed. We had a variety of items including eggs with ham and toast, hash and eggs, waffles and pancake. The pancakes were the biggest surprise to me as they had some cornmeal in there which made me think of good ol Johnny cakes. I had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were delicious. All of our food was delicious in fact. Our waitress Sara was very nice and attentive to us and we will be stopping again when we come back to the area. We stopped at Prospect Mountain Diner for breakfast on Monday, August 11th, around 9 AM. We were a party of six (3 adults and 3 children) and had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. The food was definitely worth the wait! It was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. We would highly recommend this diner for the food alone. The only real issue we noticed was with the staff seeming a bit disorganized. When we arrived, we asked the host outside for the first available table, but it seemed like there was a lack of communication with the host inside. There were at least two open tables we could have been seated at inside before we were finally seated outside. It also looked like there was some confusion among the waitstaff and food runners about which food went to which table. Despite these small hiccups with the service, the good food and fair prices made it a worthwhile visit. We would definitely come back for the food and hope the staff can get on the same page!

My husband has always ranked their Buffalo Chicken Wrap as his favorite. For good reason, twice toasted. I had the Cod special, which was delicious with fried spinach! Innovative. And the Little Leaf salad was so fresh. Our server Pam was super friendly and attentive.

This place was straight out of a movie, in the best way possible. The waitress at the bar greeted everyone by their first names. Everyone knew each other it felt. People even called the bar to speak to someone they suspect was there. I swear, a cinematic spectacular. The food was great, the bar was flowing, and the ambiance was welcoming. My husband and I went for lunch. The restaurant was beautifully decorated in rich wood with a nice log cabin feel. Andrea served us. A lovely young woman who gave me a nice pour and fabulous service. I had the Adirondack Grinder. My husband had the hot turkey. We also enjoyed steamed little neck clams. Delicious! Highly recommend.

We stopped in for a light lunch and decided on the hot turkey sandwich! It was made with real turkey (not deli) and was served over homemade fries with plenty of gravy!! Our server was delightful and our lunch was served quickly! As for the "light lunch" - we may not be eating dinner!! 😄

So I go when I visit because of its great food and atmosphere. Sadly I'm single and older. I notice when your alone the service is low, not told about specials, offered dessert/tea/coffee etc. When there's a large group of 4 or more the "red carpet" is rolled out. Just makes me feel even more isolated and why bother going out. Have a blessed day

I really like their pizza but the customer service experience was average. Nothing to brag about. I have been coming here for years and have never reviewed it. If you get a fresh pizza pie, you’ll definitely like it. I’m not too fond of pizza that has to be reheated. The biggest disappointment was not having wheelchair accessibility. My brother and I had to carry a wheelchair up and into the restaurant and then back out. The bathroom definitely is not wheelchair accessible. Our server was below average. Almost as she didn’t want to be there. I like their pizza but the place needs a little TLC because they’ve been around so long and definitely more friendly customer service. It just felt like a “here and go” type of service.

We got a slice on Friday and loved it. So today we ordered a pizza with garlic knots. Idk what happened but this is awful. The garlic knots have no flavor at all, I’m seriously wondering if they forgot to add the garlic. The pizza is equally as bad. Disappointing as we originally rated them the best after trying all the others close by.

Stopped by for two slices of pizza. The chicken Bacon Ranch was just okay. Definitely on the thinner side of pizza. The pepperoni slice tasted more like New York pizza. They offered to cut the pieces in half since we were sharing each slice. Prices a little high but so is that area. It seemed very warm inside. The dining room was full, so we did not enter that area. Maybe it was cooler there than the counter you order at. We went ate outside on a bench.

Love, Love, Love this place!! When we were in Lake George for a few days in August 2025, ate there twice. First time, was lunch. Were in town, hungry and just stopped in. Got a table quick, and had some pizza. Great Pizza. We come from the NJ / NYC area so we eat a lot of pizza, felt like we were at home. Second time, wanted a quiet night at the hotel, so we got pizza delivered, tried something different, also a great pie. It was nice having such great pizza at a reasonable price. It is a must try when in Lake George.

I liked it. Food was good and service was prompt. We had sicilian pizza which was decent. Wings were ok. Waiter was very attentive despite it being busy. Other staff at counter were friendly and engaging.

Visited Lake George and went to Capri as we have had decent slices on previous trips. This time, however, we were greeted with rudeness by the female working the front who was more interested on talking on her cell phone than assisting us. Asked her about some ingredients on a couple slices we ordered and when we got back to our cabin was given the wrong slices... so she obviously was not paying attention and just didn't care .. will go somewhere else next trip...

Great food, large menu, great service. A very adorable Italian restaurant that is nice enough for a date, and casual enough for families.

Old school italian joint with great food and affordable prices especially for Lake George. The staff is very prompt, friendly and attentive. The menu is large and has a lot of classic dishes and they have a lot of seafood options which for pescatarians is great. The portions are large and you can tell the food is fresh and made to order. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo which they ask how spicy you want it and I am a spice lover so I said extra spicy which it did not disappoint. Came out piping hot and spicy, I could not stop eating the sauce. The entrees all come with a choice of soup or salad which mine also came with linguine but I substituted it for a side of sauteed escarole. My mother ordered the lasagna and minestrone which she said was excellent especially the sauce which she asked for a side to go with her leftovers because it was that good. My late father was a big fan of this establishment and now I know why since he was an old school italian and very picky about his food especially seafood fra diavolo. This place is a must if you want authentic and a relaxed atmosphere with wonderful music serenading you while you dine

Our family & friends had mom's 80th birthday party dinner here and were met with kindness and professionalism both on the phone for reservation & in person at thr dinner. We were served by the owners themselves. Our party was handled with so much love and consideration. Thanks to them we will definitely come back for more and highly recommend them to others as Mama Risos is the best place to go in Lake George.

We were definetly disappointed on our last visit. I made reservations for outdoor dining since we have always enjoyed the patio dining when we go. When we arrived the patio area was not set up nor tables were cleaned. We also noted the area had not been landscaped/maintained as usual...weeds etc. .definitely lacked what we experienced the past 5 years. Our server was the owner and shes usually on her game but not this particular night. The salad plates were left on our table (never removed) when our main course came out. We asked for salt and pepper and they came out with a drinking glass with salt and pepper packets like McDonald's has. A bit tacky for what we were paying. The potions were not what we experienced in the pass. I apologized to my son since we raved about it and stated how disappointed I was. Honestly we will never go back nor will I recommend it to my friends at the Adirondack Nationals event.

Portion sizes seemed small while the prices were a little steep but I guess that's getting food in Lake George. We asked if they could include some plates and silverware in our pick up order and really appreciated that they did. We would be willing to give this place another shot eating in the restaurant vs taking out. Need to remember cash to avoid the almost 4% card fee.

Food is ok. I ordered penne al'vodka which came with a soup or salad, I choose the salad. I ordered my dinner al'dente, with a side of meatballs. One cherry tomato and sparce lettuce. The dressing was supposed to be on the side which is was not. Way too much dressing on the salad for the lack of lettuce that was served. As my meal came out the waitress told me the kitchen couldn't cook my pasta al'dente so they decided to give me rigatoni. Just be honest and tell me you already have the penne pasta pre cooked. The meatballs were the size of tiny golf balls. Total for my dinner, $27, and I didn't get what I ordered. My husband ordered the lasagna, not a good size portion either. His salad or should I say lack of was worse than mine. Needless to say we will not be here again.

Food was delicious. We had a large party and they were very accommodating. Took a while to get our drink order in at first but still very good food and service !!

Lake George Baking Co. Absolutely loved this spot! We got five items for just over $13—can’t beat that for a quality sweet treat. The staff were incredibly friendly, greeting us with smiles on a Saturday morning. We tried the cinnamon twist, apple turnover, éclair, mini cannoli, and the apple cinnamon donut (which was our favorite). Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

My husband ordered a half sheet red velvet cake for a birthday party. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, but it was THE BEST red velvet cake I've ever had. Perfect in every way. The cream cheese frosting was not overly sweetened, but was nice and tangy. The cake itself was super moist. I really think it was worth every cent we spent on it. I usually make the cakes for our family but I think I can fully retire now and just order from Lake George Baking Co from now on lol.

My husband and I were on vacation and went to Lake George specifically to buy a cinnamon roll. We left with so many tasty treats! The service was so friendly and everything looked amazing. Highly recommend this little spot for your morning pick me ups.

I used Lake George Baking Co for my wedding cakes and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious! From the get go, the staff was so kind and helpful with the entire process. The sample cake they gave us was a decent size and free which I thought was so nice. Very professional and accommodating bakery, helped ease the stress of wedding planning! Highly recommend!!

My daughter got married in Lake George. We ordered the cake and cupcakes from Lake George Baking Co and I am so glad that we did. The cake was chocolate with chocolate, mousse filling and a buttercream icing and it was absolutely delightful. We also ordered different flavored cupcakes. We got red velvet with the cream cheese icing, vanilla cake with cookies and cream frosting and chocolate with buttercream frosting. All the guests, myself and the bride and groom were raving about how delicious everything was. I even had guests go back for seconds. Thank you to Donna who helped us with the order. My daughter and I were not in Lake George at the time of placing the order. We communicated with Donna via email and on the phone. She helped and guided us through the ordering process since we were unable to be there in person. If you are getting married in Lake, George or having any event in the Lake George area that requires a cake or cupcakes I would definitely recommend the Lake George Baking Company.

There are a variety of bake goods at reasonable prices. Tried a cinnamon wrap, cake, cheesecake, apple turnover, and a fruit pastry all were good. Staff was friendly when trying to figure out what to buy. Got all those items for $20.

We were on a family vacation in Lake George and decided to stop in and try Monte Cristos because it was right on the main strip and were able to accommodate 7 of us. We sat in the upper terrace to get a nice view of the surroundings. The general atmosphere is nice and the staff is really friendly. The food was pretty good, they had a really bizarre variety that was all over the place, but that was fine for us. More variety with a big family is good. I had the pastrami reuben which was fantastic. A couple of us had pizzas and a couple others had burritos. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and our table looked like the United Nations. We all had a great experience and the view was a bonus! We will definitely go back if they stay in the area!

My son & I were walking down the strip and came across this place. Food was delicious, service was fast and the fresh strawberry mimosas were refreshing. For dining we chose to sit outside it was a beautiful sunny day BUT the benches were HOT you couldn’t sit on them without burning your skin off. I did see they had benches with cushions but those benches were in the shade. Maybe they could move those cushions to the other side or invest in more cushions. The server did move us though no problem.

the sandwhiches and fries are the best things here. the pizza is more flatbread style but given how many pizza restaurants are here i’d recommend elsewhere. the bolognese sauce meat was overcooked and tough, but the meatballs were good. the fried haddock was bland and sitting in a pool of oil.

Service was prompt and very tasty. Sitting out and people watch enjoying a drink makes it a good view point on the porch. Fresh pizza with unadulterated flour.

Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting the area. Staff are friendly, respectful and professional. Food is good and menu has a lot of options and variety - does not appear to be a consistent theme but the more options the better especially when traveling. Our table had the Big Boy Burger and a couple of burritos which were good. Would have like to see wraps or other types of sandwiches available but like I said there is plenty of variety. Great atmosphere as well based on where the place is located.

I went for breakfast we didn't have to wait long we choose second floor. Breskfast was delicious Odered corn hash over easy eggs homefries toast mimosa. Great service. The only thing I am a coffee lover they didn't have cappucino. Everything else was excellent.

Cool double deck so you can see the lake. That’s about the only real positive thing I can say. We ordered 4 apps and none were actually good other than the calamari which wasn’t half bad. Seared tuna was ice cold as if it was pulled out of a freezer, and they don’t serve it with wasabi. Bacon scallops had some strange yellow sauce on top, it is not necessary to put this on a bacon wrapped scallop. Muscles fradiavlo was basically muscles with really chunky tomato sauce on top. Waiter was nice but when we asked about wasabi he seemed quite clueless. Bottom line is this is a tourist place. Don’t go if you’re foodies like my wife and I.

One of the best burgers I've ever let cross my lips. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The beer selection is very good and what ones we tried were delicious. Atmosphere is really nice outside. Inside is a bit noisy as there seems to be a lot of little ones fighting for attention in there.

Food was fantastic. Anthony, our lovely server, provided a 10/10 service, super personable, on time, gave good suggestions on the menu, kept us hydrated at all times, including the doggie.

Our first time here! Ordered chicken tenders and bruschetta. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy, bruschetta was the perfect combination of tomato, onion and garlic. We had an amazing time, great views. Anthony was great and recommended a strawberry margarita, also delicious! Can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place! Will 100% be back!

We stopped here on our last day in Lake George and Anthony, the waiter who took care of us was downright hilarious! Who knew we got a comedy show at no extra charge! We ordered the bruschetta and burgers. Both A+.

Enjoyed an amazing meal recently while on vacation. Super friendly staff, fabulous drinks, and delicious food. Everything we ordered- spinach dip, burgers and fries, BLT- was prepared with the freshest ingredients. The onion rings were the absolute best we have ever had! Burgers were cooked perfectly, fries were hot and crispy, and sandwich was very flavorful. So impressed with the care and attention to detail paid by the kitchen staff. Appreciated that time was given for us to enjoy the appetizers before our entrees were served. Can't write enough positive things about this place- highly recommend.

Took family out to dinner with their significant others. Didn't wait for seating which was nice. Overall this place is loud. I appreciate live music but it was to the point we couldn't hear each other talking. Maybe it was just the spot they seated us I. Wife ordered the Salmon sliders and said she could not have onions. When it came out they were salmon cakes the waiter could not tell us if they contained onions. Food was decent but it took a long time to get out to us. At least 45 minutes after ordering. Having read reviews I was excited to try this place.

We came to the Beach Club around 5pm for drinks/apps before dinner and had a great experience! Gabby was our waitress and she was fantastic! The wings and fries are a must try and the live music was fantastic. Highly recommend!

First the view was amazing, and so was the food! Our waitress was Gabby and she was one of the nicest people I’ve meet. She also gave us great tips for fun places to go. I had a very good time here and will be coming back.

Absolutely loved the vibe here from the moment I walked in! The atmosphere is relaxed, upbeat, and super welcoming — it really sets the tone for a great time. A huge shoutout to Mary, who made the experience even better. From the start, she was not only fun and easy to talk to, but also super knowledgeable and had some fantastic recommendations. One of the highlights for me was the strawberry lemonade — seriously one of the most refreshing drinks I’ve had in a while. It hit the spot perfectly, especially with how hot it was outside. Every little detail, from the service to the flavors, was clearly done with care. If you’re looking for a place with amazing drinks, a great team, and a good vibe all around, this is definitely it. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Great service all around especially from our server Mary. Very pet friendly, she brought water for our dog. The pork fried dumplings and pretzel sticks are delicious and the Korean beef tacos are my favorite.

Cute place for breakfast. There was a really long line at 10 AM, but once we placed our order we were eating a hot fresh meal 4 minutes later. They did not have waffles for breakfast, only a limited menu of different breakfast sandwiches, which is what we were looking for. Try the snickerdoodle coffee it was awesome!

Staff was friendly.. but the price for a breakfast sandwiches is totally crazy 10$ .. not worth it. Definitely not handicapped accessible. 2 older gentleman almost fell down the stairs. Its a tight walk up the steps with removable rope dividers, they had no where to hold on to to step down the stairs. We also had young adults with disabilities and they couldn't get up thr stairs.

My father grew up going to these restaurants and introduced us to them when we were kids. Last year, on vacation, we went hoping to enjoy it again. Let's just say the tenders tasted like they were cooked in a dishwasher and left on a warmer afterward. Service was horrible. Employees seemed irritated with customers. Seems more like the owner no longer cares about service. I'm not sure if the owner will remember my note, but Mcds was amazing!

This was a favorite for many years. Unfortunately, it is under new ownership as of 2023 and they have changed nearly everything that was charming about this place. Staples of A&W restaurants across the country include service at your car with trays that hook onto your windows, root beer in frosted mugs, and, at this location in particular, an extensive soft serve ice cream menu. I believe they had over 60 flavors of soft serve ice cream available. New ownership has removed all of that. Now, you walk up to a window and order you food, walk up to another window and pick up your food, and sit at some tables behind the restaurant to eat. For ice cream, you have some pretty basic selections that are not nearly as good as what used to be. This place was the same since 1959, and they have removed pretty much everything that made it unique. You might as well go eat anywhere else you can get a burger.

The food and service were great! Loved this spot. We felt like the prices were a little high though. But the friendliness of the staff and the freshness of the food is something that would make us come back.

Unfortunately this place used to be awesome, but evidently, it has changed ownership in the last 2 years and many things are not the same as they were. The car-hop service has been discontinued. Also, this place used to have some of the best clamp straps ever, which are no longer on the menu. They were also out of A&W Zero sugar root beer!!! Lastly, the prices have gone up considerably. sad.

This once cherished place and wonderful staff is definitely a long gone memory! Terrible now, if you don't want to have your heartbroken, because you love a and w and can't wait to have it. When you come to Lake George, definitely don't waste your time. This place is definitely under new owner that only cares about making a profit and losing the nostalgic touch of what this small little gem used to be. Number one, there's no longer a friendly staff.That's outside to greet.You take orders at your car to your car. There is still outdoor seating, however, the food is not the same anymore. The chili does not taste the same anymore. Almost like it's been watered down. We ordered a kids cheeseburger with no pickles.They put pickles on it and also forgot the cheese, so when we asked to have it, we made, they took it and gave it back within like three minutes. We notice all they did was swipe off the pickle off the burger and gave it right back still with no cheese. And they had attitudes about it, the root bear flow The one thing that they're supposed to be famous for it also was horrible. It was full of just root beer that is flat and maybe one small scoop of ice cream, just not the same. And I don't know why they weren't giving out receipts to anybody.So we had to ask for that too. So unfortunately, one of my small little memories of coming up every year and being excited to have an a&w root beer.Is completely gone. So please, anyone who used to love this place.Don't waste your time anymore.

The food came out so fast and was very good. My float erupted all over me once I picked it up and the person working the window did not help or offer a replacement. However, the cook from the back saw, came out, and handed me a stack of napkins. It was much appreciated! Easy place for kids to sit and eat. Will be back!

For fast food, the burger and onion rings were pretty good. Nothing to really write home about, but they did the job. The root beer however, tasted like it had soap in it. Perhaps it was left behind after cleaning? Anyway, your restaurant is famous for the root beer. It needs to be good.

The staff was very pleasant and welcoming, and the building and grounds in general were very lovely. Unfortunately our room - advertised as an elegant luxury suite - was somewhat less than elegant or luxurious. For the price we were charged for the room, it was definitely a disappointment. The odor from the restaurant kitchen exhaust fan situated right outside our window would infiltrate our room every morning and evening. The speaker of the TV in our room was apparently broken and the sound was completely distorted making it almost unwatchable. There were no towel hooks in the bathroom to hang anything at all. Our door to the hall and bathroom door knobs both didn’t latch at all. We found a washcloth in our bed when we checked in. The water pitcher in the hall was rarely refilled. We had to ask twice to have our closet light fixed. The house phone in our room was in disrepair and nothing was labeled - we had no idea how to call the front desk or housekeeping. There were blackout shades in the bathroom but not in the main room (as is found even in the most inexpensive of hotel/motels) so there was no way to sleep late without being woken up at sunrise. The bathroom was appointed with the cheapest toilet paper imaginable, the kind we’d expect to find at a highway public restroom. The shower curtain in the bathroom had a big tear and appeared to have been hastily cut by hand to shorten it and was now frayed along the entire bottom edge.. The small shampoos, conditioners and such (you usually find in hotel bathrooms) were all at least half empty and clearly used.

Went to Terrace Tuesday in August and enjoyed dinner with a view of Lake George. Lighter fare and laid back guitarist made for a chill summer evening. Attended an intimate wedding in September. the exterior and interior spaces are stunning and the food was the best I’ve had in both the Capital regional and the Adks.

We recently got married at The Erlowest, and the staff were wonderful to work with. Even though it was only a 30 person wedding, we received the dedication and attention to detail that you would expect for a much larger wedding. Molly and LeAnna did an amazing job coordinating every detail of our wedding, as well as Laurie who handled the accommodations for all of our guests at the resort. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and setting for our special day, which ended up being everything we could have ever hoped for. Even though it rained, we still had a beautiful ceremony under the covered courtyard with the misty mountains and lake as a picturesque backdrop. Afterwards we had a Tuscan table dinner under the covered balcony on what ended up being a beautiful evening, and the food was absolutely amazing. The fact that we could also have our families and friends all stay in the villas and townhouses on property with their kids is also what makes the Erlowest the complete package. We couldn't be happier, and we can't wait to visit again for our anniversary.

The Erlowest consistently exceeds expectations. The cuisine is exceptional. Each dish crafted with care and presented beautifully. The staff is attentive, gracious, and eager to accommodate any request. Natalia, the bartender, is a particularly talented mixologist, always creating great cocktails. The setting is nothing short of enchanting, with its grand Victorian-style property overlooking Lake George, offering breathtaking views and a touch of old-world charm. Truly, a dreamlike experience.

I don’t often leave Google reviews, but I truly feel compelled to share our first and last experience at The Erlowest because much of it concerns serious safety issues, along with disappointing service. To note, and it was never acknowledged, despite staff being aware ahead of time, that my husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and our daughter’s 16th birthday. Our family travels often, staying in everything from 1- to 5-star accommodations. I am a travel writer for a well-known magazine. Unfortunately, The Erlowest is officially ranked as our worst stay, ever. The only “pro” here is location, being a short drive to the Lake George Village, and our first time to this area. Otherwise, we experienced poor hospitality and unfriendliness, shabby accommodations, dirty property grounds, an extremely rude wedding coordinator belonging to this resort, who yelled at a child (not ours) and gave us a terrible attitude just for walking to our own property, a nighttime power outage with zero help from staff or safety measures in place, including a terrifying event involving another guest, all of which put our lives in danger, and cutting our stay short. On our last night, the power went out around 6:30 pm and remained off throughout the night. It was literally pitch black with no emergency lighting anywhere inside or outside. When I asked for a flashlight, staff told me: “use your phone flashlight is all we can recommend.” The guest services manager was “out sick and unavailable,” leaving staff unprepared and guests completely on their own. Around 11:30 pm, while still without power, we endured a nightmarish encounter with another guest that forced us to call the police. We were growled at, sexually harassed, and taunted in an extremely disturbing way. My 16-year-old daughter and I remain shaken as I write this. With no staff support and unsafe conditions, we cut our stay short and drove five hours home in the middle of the night. Beyond that traumatic event, the resort falls short in basic hospitality: — Staff were unfriendly and dismissive from the start, despite us celebrating a 10-year anniversary and 16th birthday noted in an email to them a month in advance. — Breakfast was terrible, overpriced, and not complimentary despite reviews stating otherwise. — Pool was freezing, though advertised as heated. — The two “beach” areas were extremely tiny, dirty, ant-infested, and overrun by ducks, feces, and feathers. —Loungers were dirty, and ducks tried to bite when approaching the “beach”. — Our townhouse needed deep cleaning. Upholstery was stained, blinds were ripped upon our arrival (not fixed until next day with zero apology), several bulbs were out, and water temps out of the faucets and shower heads well exceeded 120 degrees, a safety hazard, scolding our skin. The power issue isn’t new. Staff told us this was the fourth outage of this summer alone. Yet the manager, Laurie, later acted to me like it was the first time, seemingly compassionate about our ordeal, however offering excuses and only partially comping us that night (not even including nearly $100 in taxes/fees we paid, she only comped the base room rate per my credit card). A generator exists for the staff/main area, but not for their other guests. As a frequent traveler and travel writer, I can confidently say that The Erlowest is both unsafe and inhospitable. I would never return, even if paid to do so. If you value your safety, please take this review seriously. The full story of the horrific incident we faced is in the “safety section” of my review.

We recently had our wedding at Erlowest and it was the most incredible weekend! From start to finish, Erlowest was so accommodating and helpful, and helped make the wedding planning process run so smoothly, which was especially helpful as we live out of state. LeAnna, Laurie, and Molly were a dream to work with, and truly made our wedding weekend absolute perfection- our vision came to life and we could not be happier. We ended up going with the rain option and it was just as beautiful as being down by the lake. The food was outstanding and everyone raved about it! I cannot recommend Erlowest and their team enough!

This was delicious!! The salad was fresh and the rice was perfectly cooked and also fresh. The kabobs were fresh and the perfect combination of spice. The consistency was perfect with a little char and soft on the inside. The owners were so kind and attentive. This will be our go to restaurant whenever where in the area. Thanks again!

This place is excellent. The restaurant's aesthetic is visually pleasing. The tables were clean, and the lighting is enchanting. We ordered the mango lassi and according to four of us, "This is the best mango lassi I've ever had." The food arrived in a timely fashion and tasted spectacular. The meat was tender and flavorful. Presentation was good; photos attached. The amount of negative reviews on this establishment astounds me. Based on my experience, they are unequivocally unjustified.

This was actually our first time in this restaurant. When we first entered, the restaurant was empty and we were a little hesitant, but the food was amazing. We ordered the chicken Korma and tandoori leg and everything was good. The spice level was perfect and we actually ended up enjoying it to the point that we came back the next day. Had a nice chat with the owners/cook and they are a nice couple. Please give them a try and help boost their business.

BELIVE IN ALL THE BAD REVIEWS PLEASE , garlic naan was peta bread with garlic on it , cheese naan was pita bread stuff with cheese , bhatura was fried pita bread .. lol and kadai chicken was forzen and microwaved with maggie masala powder , DONT CHOOSE THIS RESTAURANT EVEN AS YOUR LAST OPTION, fasting would a better option , good for your health good for your wallet. and yeah inside furniture looks from 90’s thrift shop.

When we first walked in I really thought I would not like any of the food. The restaurant was a little empty but I feel like that’s due to the really negative reviews people have given them. To my surprise, the service of the restaurant was really good. I have severe allergies and this was acknowledged and cared about by the staff. The food was great. It brought me back to being in Pakistan and I really appreciated that. I would give them a try, I know the reviews seem off but the food speaks for itself.

I have celiacs and was staying at a nearby hotel. Their menu was clearly labeled, so I knew which was gluten-free ( it was also labeled for vegetarian and halal). I had the chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, and the vindaloo. All were delicious, but the palak paneer was especially good. The people were attentive to my concerns about gluten and were very nice. If I am back in the area, I will definitely go back to this celiac friendly place, especially for the palak paneer.

My better half had the power breakfast burrito, it was loaded with oil or grease, with way overcooked homefries, and I had pancakes, they were not fluffy but flat and it was like they were swimming in oil or grease, how do you mess up pancakes?!? they also add 18% service charge, after waitress mentioned she accidently stuck her finger in the butter, which is not really an issue ,but i prefer to make that decision on gratuity myself and I usually leave 20% when service is good, maybe that's why this place has been empty since we are staying at the hotel here, so now I see the place is usually empty, I guess I see why they have to add the gratuity. Anyway with so many other choices for breakfast in the area, you can definitely find a better one.

I preordered two hours in advance on Doordash. They didn’t tell me until probably 10 or so minutes to the time I was supposed to have it that it was “closed” and gave me a refund. Thanks for wasting my time :) glad I have to spend half of my break at work waiting for something else to get delivered.

Beautiful view. That alone was worth it. The food is ok, but we were here on a holiday and they were clearly understaffed (3 young ladies working hard). They were friendly but so busy that they would bring coffee and then by the time milk came the coffee was cold. I'd give it another non-holiday chance though

Very very poor and slow service. Took forever for the waitress to come, then gave us coffee without any utensils or condiments. We have checkout at 11, decided to come here before checkout. Been here for over half an hour and still have only coffee without milk, sugar, and a spoon.

Waited 45 minutes for an omelette. Not organized, lots of frustrated customers. Tried to cancel order so I could move on to do vacation stuff. The omelette was great after it finally came out of kitchen.

Food was Really good. Like how you can make your own waffles.. coffee was REALLY BAD! Also if your on a budget avoid this place I visited this place with 2 adults and 1 child and paid over 50 dollars for breakfast 🤦🏻‍♂️

Excellent food, great service. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us. The calamari appetizer with marinara was fantastic! The strawberry rhubarb crumb pie topped off a wonderful meal. We will be going again!

Hiked Hadley Mountain in the afternoon and stopped in on a whim as it was on the way for us. Friendly service and great food. I got the pasta special they have on Thursdays (you pick toppings, pasta etc and it’s prepared right in the dining area) which was great for the price and an unique experience. French onion soup and mozzarella sticks were also fantastic. With a cozy atmosphere (although it could stand to be a tad warmer) as well, we were happy to stumble upon this place. Will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area again

Our taste buds were sure tantalized tonight! Your Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is a family favorite. We like it so much we have to order two! Tonight we had a pizza for dinner. Your crust makes this our favorite pizza in the area. We are so thankful restaurants like yours are open to offer us a fine dining experience in our own home while we self isolate.

We stopped in here after a long day exploring the area. We were warmly welcomed by Lisa who sat us down and waited on us the entire time, anything we needed she brought to us on the spot. We ordered the classic burger and Dans drink. The burger was the best Ive ever had, meat melts in your mouth and the cheese was perfect as well. We'll definitely be back ❤️

This place is a staple for us over the summer! I was so excited to find out that it was open for take out, made my Mom’s day! The food is always amazing and the people who run/work there are so pleasant to deal with. Pick up was so easy and very fast. Highly recommend you grab some food from here!!

The food was delicious! The portions were a little small, however. They offer outdoor seating, and the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous. If you eat there later in the day, make a reservation, as it gets very, very busy.

We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Of the many restaurants we have tried over the years in the lake George area, I believe this was the best meal we have had. Service was quick and the server pleasant. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

Great place to eat. Lots of options and good prices. Adirondack log style inside with a bar and pool table. Good atmosphere and also family friendly. They have regular tables and high tops. The French fries and chips were homemade and so good. All of our sandwiches were great. We’d go back.

Swung by after a day of river tubing and was pleasantly surprised. We got there just as the night shift was arriving and the band was setting up; so there was a bit of an expected wait for service. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of brighter "Merlotte's Bar and Grill" from True Blood, and the room temperature was a little warm because we were seated near the entrance. We waited maybe 20 minutes before the waiter came -- again, this was to be expected -- and the girl who sat us gave us a heads up when we arrived. But once the waiter took our drink and food order, things sped up quite a bit. Our drinks arrived quickly and he was on top of ensuring we always had full glasses. He made some great menu suggestions and we loved everything. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger with a side of fries, and the food was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The kids loved their meals as well and we would definitely come back when we're in the area.

I bought my Granddaughters and Babysitter to dinner last night and everything was perfect! The owner came out to see the girls and give them cookies and the waiter was absolutely the best too. The girls had such a fun time and even ate everything! Great place, great fun atmosphere. We will be back for dinner again soon!

The whole atsmosphere was Great! Nice , cozy, homy, relaxing, fun .. Server was great and he was Nice man! We were in tonight around 7:30pm .. Food was delicious my boyfriend had the French Dip with sweet potatoes fries and he really enjoyed it. The sauce for the Sweet potatoe fries was delicious as well as the jus for the French dip. I had the special pretzel burger sliders and that was delicious as well.. The side of home made chips was yummy .. I highly recommend this Spot ! It is truly an American place. And the first time ever I didn’t feel welcome by a waitress. Probably because we are not Americans.

I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it is-I was pleasantly surprised. I've been to the Long Horn twice now, and both times the food has been consistently good. The service can take awhile if the bar is busy - we sat in the dining room-but it's worth the wait. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a little annoying as the front of the restaurant sits on a blind corner, but with a little patience, you'll be okay.

An great bar food experience. The hot mess was absolutely delicious. The homemade cheese cakes are remenicint of Creole cheesecake. Incredibly soft and creamy. Very delicious. The beer selection is pretty good and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was that of a cozy northern bar.

Came to Lake George for a quick vacation with my wife and son. Came here for a nice night out together and it was amazing. Seated right on the lake with a great view. The vibes from the restaurant and wait staff were great. They had a good beer selection and the food menu was insane. We wound up doing the chili nachos to start which were delicious! Then we had to try their award winning mac and cheese which definitely was award winning!

Stopped in here a couple days ago with my dogs. Yes, they are dog friendly and it's awesome! I'm traveling for my dogs annual birthday road/hiking trip. We stop in all the New England states since it's beautiful this time of year. This wasn't our first time passing through lake George but it was our first time checking out this restaurant and I'm glad we did. My dogs are actually well behaved and I'm not just saying that like too many people. My dog turning 13 is my now retired service dog, my other dog is a large hound and my little handicapped dog hangs out in my k9 backpack so we are all quite a crew when we travel. We were seated right away, indoors, at a high top. My dogs laid down by my feet. I will say my one dog was a bit in the way of people walking by but everyone just took that as an opportunity to say hi or ask to pet him. My dogs never moved when anyone walked by. It wasn't until one particular family that walked by acting like their small kids were about to be mauled to death by my well behaved dogs not bothering anyone by barking or whining or begging at tables. They were just laying there. But we did get moved to a table out of the way and I took my food to go which still tasted pretty good. Overall, the vibe at this restaurant was pretty chill. I absolutely loved that my dogs were welcome inside. The only thing that would have made it over the top was if they offered bowls of water to the dogs but still you have to check out this place. Especially if you're traveling with your dog(s). I got the surf n turf sliders. Perfectly cooked to what I asked. You do need to walk through the shopping plaza to find the stairs that lead down to the restaurant. Google maps will get you in the area though so you'll be able to find it. Enjoy!

No wait, which was amazing and sat right along the rail to experience the gorgeous lake views. Cool Blue Breeze drink was delicious. Lobster Mac and Cheese and the surf & Turf Sliders were fantastic. Emma, our waitress was super attentive and helpful. Always a favorite spot for us and tonight’s experience just validated why we love it here!

Had lunch at the Lagoon during our latest trip to the Lake. Great atmosphere with great lake view. The wood fired pizza is super tasty. Service was prompt and attentive. Dog friendly is another plus! If you'd like to grab a bite to eat and grab a beer in the village, the Lagoon is definitely worth considering!

Great Google find! We were seated right away, and the food was fantastic. The crab dip appetizer was incredible, my husband loved his garlic chicken parmesan wings, and my buffalo chicken salad was delicious. Huge portions too—definitely recommend! We arrived late in the evening, but all the extra seating in the waiting suggest that you should arrive early during the main luncheon dinner hours.

I had the most amazing time at this restaurant not only are they pet friendly but the staff are the nicest people ever. Our waitress Jess immediately brought bowls of water for our dogs a lovely gesture, Also the view is great. I got the calamari and the fish and chips and the pizza was also really good and fresh. The rest of my party got the burger, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, and we even got the market price lobster fries, which were really good just that I wish had a little bit more lobster or included shrimp in it to make it more substantial would love to try the lobster Mac and cheese next time. I will 100% be coming back to this location. It was such a great time.

First time here, such an amazing experience. Lovely waitress, live music, outside and inside seating. Perfect view of the boats and a wonderful breeze to go with the hot air. We got the Philly cheese steak, crabragoon dip and lobster Mac and cheese which is to DIE FOR!!!!

If you like sugar you’re gonna love this place. Didn’t try the paninis yet, but they warm your sticky bun up just before they give it to you. And the service is excellent everyone was so nice and friendly.

No meat on grinder sandwich. They took one turkey slice and cut it up and spread it out. Asked for provolone, which they advertise as having - but that’s clearly American. This is the most skimpy sandwich I have ever seen. It was $15 and took a long time to make.

Needed a sweetie fix, in Lake George, whilst strolling one spring day, Sticky Buns came a calling. Most imaginative cravings, cool beans coffee choices, and a pleasant view of miles of pristine Lake George glistening in the warm afternoon sun. Windy, chilly, but oh so delightfully fulfilling the pallette to the soul.

If in the lake george area and want to eat and be RESPECTED don't eat here!!! That's a DON'T EAT HERE! My husband orders his coffee and sandwich i ask about the parfét being made in house (as I an allergic to strawberries) . I am speaking English as did my husband . And the young woman starts to ring it up. I say no don't ring it up I'm asking. A very tall slender make employee tells me yo RELAX! And translates English to yep you guessed it. English to English her reply also in English. So I as another question,and the man who told me to relax begins to translate English to English which is understood by the English speaking woman. ?$#?**.I say no thanks I'll have nothing . FYI they don't make parféts to order even for an allergy. If your wondering about my husband's reaction to RELAX he stood with jaw on floor. Husband was also confuse about my English being different from his or her English. He also did not finish his sandwich or coffee as it was gross.

The sweets I got were not really impressive they weren't bad but also not overly good mids. Also, it didn't seem very organized, and an excessively long time to get 2 baked goods together and handed off to me.

We visited around 9:00 AM and purchased Pecan sticky buns and Cinnamon rolls. Both were stale and unappetizing on our first visit to the area. I will not return again.

The crust was so undercooked, it was practically raw in the middle. I couldn't even pick it up without it bending in half. This is one of the worst pizza I ever see. I do not like to give any star.

A typical turn and burn joint. Way overpriced due to you paying for a lakeside view, but completely outside, so you are at the will of the weather. Is it right over the top of a kids' park and beach area, so expect some yelling and screaming lucky from a little bit of distance. The food tasted like it was all frozen, pre-breaded Sisco. Which can be fine, but the prices were not in line with the quality of food being served. Their tacos were $18 for two pre-breaded, frozen, cod tacos, which looked like a total of 3 oz of fish between them both... everything is served with a very large bunch of fries, which take it for what you want. The calamari was overcooked. And the coconut shrimp are again pre-breaded and frozen and overcooked. They were realistically 31/40 size butterflies and pounded out.

Blatant discrimination and rudeness. We waited 30 minutes, asked twice, and were completely ignored. This place treats customers differently based on who you are — you could face discrimination at any moment. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.

Quick menu that worked for all. Servers were so nice. Food was good with no issues. Always eat here at least once when we stay at Surfside. Can't beat the view.

Great spot in Lake George. We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to see what the rooftop bar was all about. Makes you feel like you're at real resort! Local beer on tap and drinks looked amazing 👏🏻 First for the area, and hopefully you started a trend! Navigating the pool and multiple stairways was well worth it.

I ordered steamed clams and blackbeans burger. The food was so bad and the same for the lobster roll that my teenager ordered. The only was good was the orange juice from the carton. I refused to order wine after seeing my partner drink was served in plastic cup.

Go here! We found this place on google maps and decided to take a chance and we were so glad we did. It’s a hidden gem. You have to walk through the surfside hotel grounds to get to it. Staff were very friendly, views are beautiful, and the food was delicious. We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their meals.

We love this spot ! Refreshing slushy, yummy ice cream and delicious sundae! And the prices are great as well I got 5 items for $25 The staff is super friendly as well and it’s right by the Lake George, Willam fort and steam boats. So after you go to one of those places you can get a delicious treat. We definitely will be coming back on our next visit.

Single Scoop Cookie Dough Cream in a Waffle Cone...That's what I get every single time! Wait time is decently fast, but lines to get long fast! Regardless I LOVE the Pink Roof and it still lives on as my favorite sweet treat stop when I'm on the lake! Plus I love going at night because the ambiance is incredible!

Got a small cherry slushy the taste was terrible , tasted like cough syrup , the ice cream was $6 for a kids cup which also just had no flavor to it , I had a cone from Burger King a few days before this and I can say it was 5x better in taste. Many other options in the area I would choose from next Time.

It was a beautiful day in the summer with cool breeze and light drizzle when I tried their hard ice cream on a cone for the first time. Friendly staff, scoops were big/generous in size and all the flavors I had were delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little ice cream shop when I stopped by for a quick cone before my cruise. I got a medium soft serve chocolate cone, and I was expecting a miniscule amount of ice cream for the amount I paid, which was very inexpensive. But when I got the cone, they were very generous with the serving, and it tasted great. If I had known about this place beforehand, I would have made sure I stopped by sooner. Next time I go to Lake George, I will be sure this will be one of the first stops I make to get my ice cream fix.

My roasted pecans were spoiled, then burnt to cover smell and then coated in sugar to give them some flavor. Desert menu at $7.25 per 1/4lb is the most expensive at Lowery quality ingredients I've ever had. Very disappointed camper here.

Service was ok not anything special what put me down to 2 is that I got a cookies and cream ice cream cone and found a hair in the ice cream not on top or in between the two scoops in it in the scoop I was disgusted I threw it away immediately but maybe they don’t make the ice cream they should still check where they get it because this was very disgusting and disappointing

Y’all have lots of room for improvement. Small cone ice cream $6??? Why? How come? Doesn’t make sense to me at all.

The tiki hotel itself looked terrible from what I saw. Hallways looked dirty, main lobby felt like it was 100 degrees, and the bathrooms were very dirty. The Polynesian show is why I was there. The price is way too high!! We were a group of 8 with reservation 3 days In advance. We were seated right next to the speaker. I couldn’t see one member of the show. I couldn’t hear the person next to me. The worst part is there were 10 tables open towards the back. Honestly for what you pay I would never go back there. The show was okay but I feel like this is an absolute waste of money and time!

Went there to see the dinner show..The waitstaff was excellent..the food was ok. The show was not as expected. The children made the show..they were adorable. Thought the price was too high...

This is in response to the owners reply to my initial review on August 13, 2019. In today’s world of individual dietary needs, it is not unusual for a competent restaurant to fulfill a nutritional request. By serving the sauce on the side instead of “covering” the chicken, it does not change my complaint. One chicken was served raw and one chicken was served over cooked. Our reservation required preordering our meals and we did not receive any resistance in our dietary request. Also, after bringing this issue to the manager’s attention, we were not even offered a different replacement meal. Therefore, we continued our evening hungry. Even with inadequate service, I still tipped our waitress over 20% and covered the ticket price to watch the show. The fact that you failed to address any initial complaints, and redirect blame is extremely disappointing. For anyone reading this, I would advise you to skip the dinner and just enjoy the show.

What a disappointment the show itself was very warm very good!! Our food uuggghh we were absolutely last to get it was told there was a problem in the kitchen? The rice & carrots were ice cold bread was frozen and chicken & beef both plates were so hard and overcooked u couldn't even put a fork in it for $207 absolutely expected more than that!!!!!! Very very dissatisfied

Our anniversary two day getaway. Reserved the best room. I was told spa, king bed and balcony. But it was on ground floor which seemed like the basement, no balcony or porch. When it rained so musty and no way to get fresh air. Shower leaked badly on floor. Noisy. Spoke to staff took money off, but not what I wanted. Really ruined the getaway.

The room was standard, nothing special. Everything was fine, but my morning was spoiled. I went to the restaurant in the morning to ask for half a cup of hot water to make my oatmeal, and half a cup of milk for my child. I was greeted unfriendly, the woman who was there main one looked at me like I was homeless. They reluctantly gave me a glass of hot water and for half a glass of milk they asked me $2.50. I understand that everything costs money, but we lived in this hotel and we not deserve even half a glass of hot water?! It's terrible! I do not advise this hotel. My response to the hotel response - Most of your answer was the advertisement of your hotel. You did not understand my comment, I wrote about the fact that the staff of your hotel is not polite with customers.

Rooms were okay. Breakfast staff was terrible. They were very rude and they often served us the wrong order. There was only one cook that took forever to cook. Even when the food is cooked, it has no taste. Most of the staff around the hotel doesn’t know what they’re doing. Overall we had a terrible experience and we will certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone

Truly a special place. Every dish our table had was delicious. I had the daily special - soft shell crab.Service is attentive but not intrusive. Just like places we have dined in France and Quebec City. Great place for a special event. And if you can get there for their Prix Fixe meals mid week the price is fabulous

My husband and I went here tonight for our anniversary and we were absolutely blown away! The food was phenomenal! Atmosphere was very nice too! We already can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable friendly atmosphere with amazing food. Our group had excellent soup, salads, Steak Diane, Salmon and dessert. Owners Pia and Chef Lincoln provide outstanding service and food at a reasonable price! You won't be disappointed.

I would ignore the bad reviews, not a one I read was accurate. This is a high end French restaurant in a rather odd location. It's not a cheap diner as it first presents, no it's really a genuine and lovely French eatery. The prices perhaps could be cheaper not were the dishes anything new. It was true classic French cuisine, made well. I should note the bar is also lovely, the aperol spritz was great. This is a fantastic date night or fancy occasion. Avoid it if you are looking for cheap country eats, you are coming here to get some real and well made food.

I would like to start by saying that I have eaten at Chez Pierre many times in the past and have enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I wish I could say my visit on August 14 was as good. Friends and I arrived at 5:30 and were shown to our table. The disappointment started when I ordered a wine from their list and was told they had none. They did serve a reisling which was passable but not up to the standard I expect at this restaurant. The salad was, well, a salad. The rest of the evening was pretty much downhill. The escargot I ordered came out in a small oval dish (not the usual escargot dish with wells for each). They were overdone and the usual butter and garlic sauce was just a watery melted butter with no taste. The steak was beyond wonderful and cooked just as ordered but the limp canned green beans looked like they were reheated several times and the four (4) small pieces of potato in watery melted butter were not worth the time it took to serve them. There were six in our party but the bread basket had five slices of bread and enough saltines to serve everyone in the place. One friend ordered a shrimp dinner which came out as a pile in the middle of the dish that looked burned. She said it was very disappointing. Other complaints from friends were the lobster bisque was salty and the beef tips were tough (comments from two companions) One said the best part of her meal was the ice cream. My dinner cost, with tip, was $132.00. Extremely over priced for the quality of food I received. Sadly as much as I loved going to this restaurant I will not go back nor will I recommend it to anyone.

We go here every mother's day as our tradition. This place never disappoints, always on point and the food is always amazing. The pate & bread is fantastic! The drinks are also on point. Highly recommend

We come to Charlie’s often. The food is always delicious. The staff is very friendly. During our last trip to Charlie’s a few weeks ago, it was quite busy. Even though it was very busy, our servers, Zach and Shelbyann were both efficient, attentive, and so very nice. We couldn’t have had a better experience. We will be back!

Me and my wife were figuring out what to eat for dinner. We always walk by this but never had it. Decided to try it today. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good. I forgot the waitress that we had but she really went above and beyond with her service. She deserves a raise. Will gladly come back for food. Thank you so much.

Really good food I got the chicken and sausage al vodka and another day got a chicken Cesar salad it was so good both of them and big portions worth the price. Con: They forgot to give us utensils both times we went and had to ask for them Never cleared off the table for entrees after appetizers. As I was looking for the best places to eat in Lake George, this was one of the places that was recommended on several websites. I came here for dinner my second night staying in the area. The place which is located in the Marriott Hotel has a great vibe and the service is good. I ordered the French Onion Soup, which was fantastic and perfectly seasoned. The Seafood Risotto was tasty, but a tad salty for my palate. My server was friendly and attentive, and the food came out super fast. They have a decent sized food and drinks menu, and everything is reasonably priced. I would definitely stop in again the next time I visit the area.

Love the food and service! Always start with a shrimp cocktail, for main meal I go for the Jack Daniel’s burger with a side of sweet potato fries or seafood Tuscany, such delicious and rich sauce, it’s a must try! The restaurant has a lot of good options for dessert and seasonal craft cocktails. You can’t help but go back!

The service was good but took 45 min to get are appetizers and 2hrs to get our food, the food was disappointing, the banana cream pie was awful, it was a bowl of mush with wafer cookies

The ambiance was good and the owner greeted us. The staff was very accommodating and eager to please. However, this had to be one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. I read the prior reviews and I’m very surprised that our experience differed so much.

We had a wonderful dinner here! It was so good we come here at least twice a week and every time we vacation here My favorite is the chicken parm! Great proportions and delicious! I highly reccomend this restaurant if your in the area it's about a 10 min ride from rt 87 or 9

Great food and service, nice portions & good value. A few fast food style tables that you could seat & eat at if you’re on the go, but definitely would not recommend dining there for date night. They really could use more prominent lighting outside, may help bring in more business, especially during tourist season, you could easily pass by & never know it’s here, which is unfortunate, because the food is excellent. I’ve been living in the area a few months now & have ordered perhaps 15-20 times, never been disappointed with the food or the staff, both of which are excellent. I’d give another star if dine in atmosphere was a little more appealing. I ordered beef & scallops the other night & it was the best B&S I’ve ever had! Either way, if you’re in the area & want Chinese takeout, this is the place!

I’ve ordered from this place several times, and this visit was really disappointing. The daughter always has a snobby attitude but we never took it personal. However I accidentally ordered the wrong meal and politely asked if they could remake it. The place wasn’t busy at all (we were the only ones there), but the daughter who works there refused to make a new one unless I paid full price again. I understand it was my mistake, but the way she handled it was rude and unprofessional. She slammed the register, put my food back aggressively, and had a snobby attitude the whole time. It’s a shame because the brother who sometimes takes orders is actually very respectful and provides good customer service. Maybe he should be the one handling customers instead. I won’t be coming back after this experience. Shame on this place for having bad customer service and after the bad reviews this place still doesn’t care about their customers.

Ordered beef & broccoli with extra brown gravy. Rice wasn't fried rice it was white rice fried. IT WAS SO BAD. OVERCOOKED BEEF & IT WAS UN EDIBLE BECAUSE OF THE SALT. IT WAS REALLY BAD. DEPENDS ON NIGHT I GUESS COUPLE TIMES NOW THE FOOD WASNT AS GOOD AS IT WAS

Recently moved to the the area from Albany which had some excellent Chinese Thai food. We tried another local place that was ok but wouldn't go back to. We took a chance on Moon Star and we were blown away! Excellent Thai and Chinese! Hot and sour soup,egg drop soup Red curry shrimp, Red Curry Shrimp with onion, pork fried rice and steamed dumplings.Everything was Insanely good. Can't wait to order again. .

The food was fresh cooked to perfection and the General Tso was spicy, the way it was supposed to be. The crab rangoons actually had filling in them

My husband and I went here specifically to try the cheese board and we were able to add on additional cheeses samples to be able to taste as many as we could. I was incredibly blown away by how well curated the selection of cheeses and pairings. We had a really great time finding favorite pairings of cheeses with different toppings. You should really try the lavender and honey cheese on a baguette with a slice of strawberry and some honey drizzled on top. We wound up taking our leftovers home and went to their gift shop to buy some additional supplies to have a picnic for the next day. I highly recommend trying that if you can't finish it all in one sitting. What a wonderful time with very friendly and attentive staff.

We had such a nice experience here on our first day in the lake George area. The food is delicious. My husband and son got the mac and cheese with pulled pork. They said it was delicious. I got the cheeseboard to share and it did not disappoint. Nice ambiance and friendly service. A must visit if you are in the area.

One of the best charcuterie boards I've EVER had. Stellar service, good location, food looks great, awesome drink selection...overall good vibes. Make sure you say hi to Rachel! I will be back to sample ALL the boards they offer.

Lovely restaurant with tons of food/drinks/appetizer options. Located right down the road from several tubing/water rafting places—perfect place to stop before or after. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent. Cleanest restaurant bathrooms I’ve seen in years! Must visit.

They wouldn’t let us sit in the dining area even though we made reservations well in advance. The menu was pub food. Nothing like a dinner at all. What we ended up ordering was ok, it’s not at all a dinner. sandwich or burger or salad. Someone said they were better than a couple years ago but not at all. Only beer which they had a great selection and horrible wine that nobody would like compared with their great cheese. Who picks their wine???? Obviously knows nothing about wine. Cheap $10 wine for $52 bucks. Undrinkable. Rude hostesses. I really didn’t want to go back there but someone said the food was better than before, but he was just a heavy beer drinker. Like that was a good litmus test. lol. Probably the worst restaurant in 50 miles of our house.

Stopped for lunch but they only have cheese boards till 4pm. We decided to try a pick 5 cheese board and were very pleased. My favorite was the Kunik. Also hard salami and bread and fruit. They also allowed us to sample the carrot soup which we both enjoyed. Rachel and the other wait staff were friendly and helpful with our choices. Cheeses are made on site. We purchased two of our choices at the cheese shop.

Four of us had dinner at The Hitching Post on Saturday night and absolutely loved it. My son in law had Poutine as an app and we all shared a bite or two. It was excellent. I had the pork sliders which were delicious with a side of Kunik Mac and Cheese. We all got to taste the mac and cheese and agreed that it was not heavy but light in a super delicious way. The service was great. It was fun to shop around the store after dinner and we will definitely return for the charcuterie board. Highly recommend especially if you are a cheese fan like we are!

We had Michael and his crew cater our mothers 85th Birthday party. The food was fantastic, fresh, delicious. We chose the Taco Bar style menu. Michael is very professional and communicative, and his food is great. Would highly recommend him for parties and stop by the restaurant.

We called ahead and placed our order and it was ready to pick up within the half hour. Parking lot is pretty big for the area. A gentleman greeted me at the door asking if I had called in the order. Every. Single. Item. We ordered was FANTASTIC, fried clams were top tier and better than any we’ve had. The crab cake sandies and the pulled pork bbq were both awesome as well. Portions were big so we had leftovers for the next day as well. Definitely recommend y’all give this place a try.

My wife and I figured we would give one of our local restaurants a try for their fish and chips as their reviews sounded favorable. I must admit, they fell short of the mark. The fish itself was flavorful and flaky but the batter was very oily and made the batter mushy. The French fries were old and cold and tasted like they had been sitting a while. The cole slaw was just ok. They provided tartar sauce but no vinegar dip as advertised. All in all, not impressed. I guess next time we want fish and chips, we'll have to find an Irish Pub because we won't be going back to Fish Heads again.

Quaint, personable, family owned and run. Excellent fresh cod fish fry and clam chowder Great desserts. Delicious Key lime pie or chocolate, peanut butter fudge pie. YUMMY

Mike and his staff catered our family party and they did a wonderful job! The seafood menu was outstanding especially the clam chowder! All of the food was prepared, cooked, and served fresh to order on our site. We highly recommend Fish Heads for catering as well as dine in. We commend their ability to accommodate the customers with a flare for great food and service! A job well done Mike!

Good summer roadhouse meal. The seafood is definitely fresh and flavorful. The chilli and the gumbo are both good choices. Tacos are big. It's BYOB though so come prepared.

Fisheads was by far the best meal out we had during our Adirondack vacation. The fish fry was exceptional, and the sides were great as well. The prices were more than fair, and the service/proprietor were down to earth and enjoyable. Can’t recommend it highly enough, particularly since all the other restaurants we tried in the area were “meh” at best.
