Bowling alley

Sports complex
Triangle Bowl in Longview is a popular spot for families and friends to enjoy a day of bowling and fun. Established in 1957, this local institution near Lower Columbia College offers a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the good old days. Visitors can indulge in arcade games, delicious pizza, and even win prizes with tickets earned from playing. Whether it's for a casual night out or a special birthday celebration, Triangle Bowl provides wholesome entertainment for all ages.
We went on a non busy day. The service was great. We had no neighbors on either side. My 6 year old enjoyed himself.

This is a top notch bowling center! The astetics are awesome. The employees are professional, very well run. The food is fantastic. I would recommend taking your family to this really cool place 😎!!! Did I mention the game room.
Bryan J — Google review
I took my team here for bowling. When I called 2 weeks ago I was told I could call that day to reserve lanes or I could book a package. Since we were going to have pizza and drinks anyways it was nice to have those options. I decided on a package and a extra hour of bowling. The pizza was great, the atmosphere was nice and they laughed. Great place for wholesome family fun.
Kym G — Google review
A GREAT place to have a birthday party! Bowling is fun and family friendly environment! The arcade is fun and the dogs in there is pretty amazing!
Megan N — Google review
Nice old school alley with a modern twist. Lane #2 was malfunctioning and removing pins and messing up in other ways. We were just there for fun so it didn't bug us that much. Just beware.
Natalie T — Google review
Previous post: "My son and I had an awesome time eating pizza 🍕, playing the arcade games, and getting lots of tickets for fun prizes! He said he wanted to go back for his 7th birthday! I'd say it was a hit! 😀" UPDATE: As promised, we Returned to triangle bowl for my son's 7th birthday party just last night. Cons: *They were unusually busy and understaffed. Which resulted in us waiting for pizza for over an hour. By the time we got it, It wasn't nearly as good as our last visit. Undercooked. * I paid a $150 for their arcade package about 2 weeeks prior, so I figured everything would be quick and planned for. But when I arrived they Informed me that there was another $35 remainder. Customer service never informed me beforehand. *They did not allow us to bring the pinata that I paid $30 for so I ended up having to take that back. Since all they had was at 7 PM Reservation time, ended up having to switch around the whole party itinerary due to the pizza coming out so late. With young kids 7 PM is sort of late for a party. * Some of these issues were out of their control and understandable. While some of them were not. PROS: * My son had an absolute blast! It was a perfect venue for the kiddos and they had a great time picking out prizes with their tickets they won! * The table space was ample enough room for our whole party. * Although they were packed, It was great to be in a local business that was full of ppl of all walks of life. Old and young, families; all under one roof with tons of smiles and great times being had! We need more businesses like this in our community. 😁
Brook F — Google review
We had a great deal if fun, for being our first time. Definitely coming to this place again. Pizza was pricey but good 👍 Place was clean too. 👌
L G — Google review
A good place to hang out and have a good time with family and friends. Have had several family functions at the facility w/ pizza. Drinks, bowling discounts fun&games. The kids enjoy n luv the place for the lil arcade for treats & prizes. Great place for all.

The Cowlitz County Historical Museum in Kelso, Washington is a captivating destination for those interested in delving into the rich cultural heritage of Longview and Cowlitz County. Established in 1953 and maintained by the Cowlitz County Historical Society, it offers permanent and rotating exhibits that showcase early life in the area, with a focus on the Cowlitz Indian Tribe's history. The museum also chronicles the region's development over time through various artifacts and displays.
Wonderful adventure! What a well done exhibit and it was free.
Krista R — Google review
Great small history museum in Kelso with unbiased displays about the Cowlitz Nation and the history of logging. Very friendly and helpful staff. Worth a stop.
Craig W — Google review
Really enjoyed this museum, everything was well represented. We spent about 2 1/2 hours going through the entire museum. Highly recommend this to anybody traveling through the area. The museum staff were very friendly.
LouAnn C — Google review
Well organized and they have interesting details about the county.
Jennifer B — Google review
This is a very well-done (free) local museum that gives a great overview of Cowlitz County history, both native and after European settlement. We spent a very enjoyable hour exploring here on a rainy morning in Kelso!
Lisa B — Google review
Very nice place to visit! Don’t have to buy tickets but donations are recommended!
Tsewangchopel S — Google review
I didn't appreciate the museum as a kid. But as an adult, I've made use of it several times, and it's impressive to see how much information and history is available there. I recommend it to everyone. Long-time residents and visitors alike will appreciate the historical value of the exhibits.
Micah G — Google review
LOVE this museum! Highly recommended!! Go early and allow plenty of time because even a full day isn't enough to take it all in!!! We really enjoyed the scavenger hunts and quizzes available from the volunteer at the help desk. You fill them out as you go and they help to enhance your museum experience. I believe they're suitable for pretty much any age.

City park
Nestled in the heart of Longview, Lake Sacajawea Park is a 3.6-mile loop surrounding Lake Sacajawea, named after the famous explorer. This park offers a variety of activities such as biking and hiking on the traffic-free trail, three playgrounds, Japanese gardens, fishing areas, and opportunities to rent kayaks or canoes for a leisurely paddle on the lake. Visitors can enjoy picnics by the water and attend live music events during summer.
So much beauty!!!! Tons of green. Fountains, several parks, fishing areas, Martin's Dock where they have summer concerts. Lots of geese and ducks. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. And a wonderful 3.6 mile walking path that goes around the entire lake.
Lisa R — Google review
Beautiful lake in the middle of city. Very good bank access plenty of free parking. Very nice walking trails. Playgrounds for the kids. Picnic tables and benches . Great park for the whole family. I fished 2 days once for bluegill with kids. Came back the next day to bass fish no luck either time. I'm not from here and really don't know what's the way to fish in Washington State. I can't say anything about the fishing... Lol
Barry M — Google review
My go-to place for a walk any time of year. Trees from around the world and nicely maintained grass and planted areas. The city tries to keep up with tree safety, but several times a year there are hazards with falling branches. There is variety of birds as well as turtles, squirrels and beaver. Two playgrounds and two areas with restrooms. The best outdoor community events happen here.
Julie R — Google review
Great park to walk around or relax in. Parking can be a little hard. But So beautiful!
Mike S — Google review
Pretty, pretty, pretty views. It's amazing here. I absolutely love it. My boyfriend and I go here often and do walks together, we had our first date here and did our prom pictures here as well. We often bring our cat there and she loves it there too. I will forever and always love Lake Sacajawea ♥️
L B — Google review
Beautiful fall colors! This is the perfect time to go walk around the lake and look at all the colors of the trees that are changing. Don't forget to take your camera! And, as fall passes, the trees and foliage get more brilliant in their colors! So don't just go once...🍂🍁🍂
Cheryl — Google review
Beautiful hidden gem in Longview. The lake has flow to and from the Columbia so no stagnation was apparent. The lake is supposed to be stocked with warm water fish species although we had no luck fishing. Pretty water lilys were in bloom.

Outdoor Activities
Mint Valley Golf Course, situated in the western part of Longview, is renowned as one of the top public golf courses in Washington State. It features an 18-hole par 71 course suitable for golfers of all levels and a smaller 6-hole par three course. Designed by Ron Freem, this course has gained popularity despite its rocky start and is now frequented by both locals and tourists.
Great golf course, and the winter prices were very reasonable. I walked 18 and while it is a challenging course, it's easy to walk. It was in great condition and has a lot of twists and turns to make it a great challenge.
Zachary P — Google review
Great course, somewhat technical, harder than the slope rating. Prices have gone up recently but it’s still a good value. Greens are firm right now but so are the bunkers, the lack of quality sand is a bummer. Fun par 3 course on location.
Jayden B — Google review
It’s a shame that this little gem is ran by a bunch of old snobs who know no golf etiquette. Refused to send a single off on the OPEN back. Didn’t even attempt to accommodate. Just flat out refused. These retired old timers are chasing off your business. Go find a retirement job elsewhere.

The Nutty Narrows - Squirrel Bridges is a popular tourist attraction that offers various interesting features. In addition to a wooden squirrel carving and a 100th anniversary train with informational placards, the area surrounding the bridges is also known for its pleasant ambiance, located across from the college. The park itself allows visitors to spend time feeding squirrels while admiring the train. Moreover, nearby, there are dental office parking spots adorned with lively paintings as part of community outreach efforts.
To get there was a bit of a trip but worth the travel since we came from Spokane, WA to see the squirrel.
Alexis D — Google review
It is so fun to see weird things. The nutty squirrel bridge was up there . Pretty city park across the road.
Arlette — Google review
Too cute!! Pretty easy to navigate to all the other bridges when you figure out where you need to be and what direction you need to go! As a die hard squirrel lover, this was one of the best experiences!!
Kieria K — Google review
Exactly what you'd expect! There was also a wooden squirrel carving in the park and a 100 th anniversary train with some interesting information placards. It's across from the college, nice area. We spent about 30 mins in the park feeding squirrels, checking out the train. Across the street the dental office had done some community outreach and had various paintings in the parking spots which was fun to look at as well.
Amylynn R — Google review
Cute, stop plenty of areas to park and snag a picture. I just wished we had seen a squirrel crossing the bridge... maybe next time.
Nancy B — Google review
What a fun little area to explore the fall foliage! Just a nice neighborhood stroll and spot the squirrel bridges.
Judd S — Google review
Fun little stop on a road trip! We saw 3 total suspension bridges in the neighborhood. Park with squirrel statue has a big green area and a locomotive. Big, shady trees make for a great picnic spot.
Laura P — Google review
Seems like something you'd find in Portland... I'm not sure what this cities fascination with Squirrels is but there are a few bridges around town. Fun for kids!

City park
Seventh Avenue Park, located along its namesake road, is a spacious open space known for soccer and its proximity to the Cowlitz River. It's an ideal spot for picnics with well-maintained grass and attracts migratory birds during dry months, making it perfect for laid-back birdwatching. The park offers various attractions such as slides, swings, and climbing structures. Additionally, it features baseball/softball fields and a concessions stand during games.
My dog Marlee and I walked around the huge fenced in field. It was a safe place for him to run since there isn't any dog parks in the area, and you can't take them to the lake, which I'm surprised being how many dogs there are in Longview. We need a couple dogs parks! To take our fur Fbbs to.
Amy S — Google review
We love this park. Slides, swings, and multiple structures to climb. It's an open space and is wonderful when the sun is shining. The grassy area that surrounds the park is always green. There are no bathrooms to use.. they're always locked when soccer games aren't playing. We live down the street, so it's easy for us to walk home to use the bathroom. If you're driving to this location, just know the bathrooms are locked.
Leticia C — Google review
We love this park! We've been attending softball games this season and didn't even know about this park until recently. They have 4 baseball/softball fields that are kept fairly nice and they also have a little TBall field for pint-sized baseball. I noticed last time there are soccer fields further down as well. During games there is also a concessions stand open which is great when you've got a whole family with you.
Aria B — Google review
Awesome for soccer and softball games. Wish they had some type of restrooms available for the soccer field and a concession stand would be amazing. They're there for softball and I completely understand that it's 2 different leagues but it seems like soccer is missing out.
Amy G — Google review
Honestly the playground looked good. Just went for a little girls softball game. The park is wonderful. I was impressed
Shirley B — Google review
Only two blocks from my home with access to several big open fields - my children love to just run/play. Nice little clean park that's well maintained. Only downfall is the restrooms are never open! Be prepared to have your kid pee in a cup in your car, behind a tree if nobody's around, or if you get really lucky they can hold it till you get home lol... We always enjoy our visits there🤩
Jessica T — Google review
Great place for kids to enjoy playing soccer people drive a little quick in that area though so you have to be obscenely cautious going across the street but otherwise perfect park
Adriana C — Google review
It was a great day at rhe soccer park with family watching my grandson play soccer. They had a bouncy house and Velcro kick soccer for the kids to play. A great concession stand with great prices.. Everyone was so wonderful and nice! What a great day!!

The Columbia Theatre Association for the Performing Arts is a vintage stage dating back to 1925, featuring ornate decor and 800 seats for concerts, films, and various performances. The venue has retained its original architecture and design from the 1920s. Visitors have praised the friendly staff, intimate atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and fantastic acoustics of the theater. It's considered a great local theater with a small venue that provides a personal feel to any performance or show attended there.
Very cute theatre! You get real tickets in your hand at the box office, and the people working the venue were so friendly and helpful. Saw R-Rated comedy show which randomly came up as a suggestion on our feed. We live about an hour from Longview so we were on the fence about the drive to somewhere unknown. Glad we rolled the dice!! Sound was good and view was good!

We had a blast at the Beauty and the Beast Sing-along event celebrating 100 years! It was cool to be able to walk on the stage for photos
Tonia F — Google review
I had to visit, as the Columbia Theatre was turning 100 this year. I enjoyed seeing the classy old girl entertain her community one more time. The restoration looked great and it was very comfortable. A tip of the cap to community that saved her and made her strong again.
George S — Google review
Everyone that works there is so nice! The building is beautiful and they have so many free events for kiddos. My family is really thankful for this place!
Erika L — Google review
The Columbia theater is an amazing venue. It was built in the 20's and has survived several attempts at destruction by developers. It has all original architecture and design inside. If you get a chance to check out a concert, show, or recital here you will not be disappointed and you will be supporting local theater as well as our heritage sites.
Darious K — Google review
Nice intimate venue where you can really see and interact with the artist. Renovated beautifully. Easy access and comfortable for an evening of entertainment. Affordable ticket prices. Limited concessions, but cocktails are available.
S B — Google review
It was great. Went to see the Nutcracker with the family. The seats were comfortable. The concessions was the only down part only had candy alcohol coffee and water no popcorn and only takes cash. No on-site ATM. Wheelchair access is good. Overall a good experience.
Sean D — Google review
My wife and I attend shows here a few times a year. The architecture always stands out to me when I’m there. It was designed in a different era and it’s always a delight to look around. Aside from that, it’s well maintained and they offer a pretty wide range of movies, plays, and shows. Bathrooms are always clean, and they’ve even started offering alcohol with there concessions. I’ve Never had a bad experience at the Columbia theatre.

Families appreciate the afternoon golfing opportunities followed by dinner at the club. The pool is a major draw during the summer months. Members also enjoy socializing with other golfers and improving their game. The club offers top-notch lessons for beginners and has a comfortable membership that makes everyone feel like part of the family.
Took part in the August 2025 third annual Cool August Nights Car Show. It was fantastic with over 200 different gorgeous cars, several food trucks, porta potty's, wash stations, concert stage, multiple kids stations with bull riding, body and facial paint, bounce houses, kids golf and shooting ranges, bungee jumping cords, and active pool. Some food trucks do military discount and others don't. Really fun event and atmosphere!

Great golf course! Fun group of members. The course is challenging; have to make good shots to score. Fast play and often not crowded. Course is very walkable. A true test of golf ability. Beautiful grounds surrounded by magnificent fir trees.
Brian C — Google review
Played here a few times with some of the members love the coarse, but the staff here is always top notch. Delmar is probably the only person I will go buy golf clubs from. He is the most help I have ever had when just figuring out what club works best for my golf game, and definitely helped with a few tips on my stance with knocking that winter rust off my game. These guys rock, if you are looking to grab up some new clubs you should absolutely swing in and chat with the Pro Shop at Longview Country Club, and find out when they are going to have their fitter come in and grab some time with him as well it helps a lot.

Have been a member of the Longview Country Club for four years and am so glad that my hubby and I joined. The golf course is fantastic. Not having to have schedule tee times far in advance and have a very relaxing golf game is so valuable. Breakfast restaurant
Stuffy's II is a lively and nostalgic American eatery that serves up comforting dishes throughout the day. Renowned for its all-day breakfast and enormous cinnamon rolls, this old-fashioned diner exudes classic charm with its retro decor adorned with vintage car photos and antique license plates. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the food is incredibly tasty. Their lunch menu offers a variety of options, including burgers and sandwiches, accompanied by endless fries.
Diner with an old atmosphere touch to it. Pros: • Great menu selection • Food was good • Awesome service from Twila and staff Pros: • Though it doesn't bother me, the Declaration of Independence on the windows may scare some people away due to current political events.
Phi D — Google review
We visited from Seattle, saw Joel a food challenge guy on YouTube eat here. We came for "Stuff" but everything sounded great. I ended up getting spaghetti & my husband meatloaf. Both were good. We got "Stuff" to go & a piece of German Chocolate cake. Cool nostalgic atmosphere. It's a diner type atmosphere.
Jill C — Google review
We ordered Chicken fried steak and a Colossal Omelet. Both with hasbrowns, toast, and eggs over easy. Both were HUGE! Both were tasty. Only complaint was the waitress never refilled our coffees. I don't mind paying 3+ dollars for coffee if I get a refill. The decor has a 50's Route 66 vibe. Lots to look at.
Lisa R — Google review
Food was very good. Sue's plate was delicious. It's 2 slices of cinnamon roll French toast. I had 1/2 biscuits and gravy it was good but I prefer a dense biscuit and these were light and airy. It was pretty busy but worth the wait. Price is fair considering portion sizes.
Stephanie R — Google review
We stopped in for dinner and my burger was OK. The decor and music was a little before my time, but the theme was all over the place. The staff was kind. I guess they are known for their really big cinnamon rolls. They did had 5, 10 and 20 pound cinnamon rolls for sale. We opted for the cake instead.
George S — Google review
Oh my gosh, where do I begin? This place was amazing! The atmosphere was incredible, featuring an old 50s decor. I really enjoyed the music playlist—straight oldies! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. I ate my meal around 10 AM, and I was still full by the evening—just too much food! The ticket price was reasonable. While some might argue it’s expensive, what you get is worth the price. The cinnamon roll was to die for! Don’t make my mistake and order the 5-pound cinnamon roll—it was way too much for the three of us. The server tried to warn us, but I didn’t listen, and I ended up taking a huge piece home. And let me tell you, it was good! I have to blame the restaurant for a 2-pound weight gain (LOL). For you readers, they also have challenges on their menu, so be sure to look for them. I can’t wait to try their enormous cheeseburger. The server mentioned it’s equivalent to 20 quarter-pounders! Last but not least, Bud, the owner, is a very nice guy. I loved how he went to each table to thank customers for coming in—it shows true hospitality. Here’s an inside joke for Bud: “Yes, Bud, I am a bill collector!” If you’re in Longview, WA, and looking for great food, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back!
Sabino C — Google review
Waiting for them to reopen after repairing some fire damage that happened. Great comfort food, their stuff comes in three sizes, and it's a taste explosion of breakfast goodness. It's also good anytime of day. They have things called gobs, which are like elephant ears, I personally like the maple covered won the best. They have free giant cinnamon rolls on your birthday. And they're smaller cinnamon rolls and their carrot cake are both delicious 🍰
Cheryl — Google review
Well worth the price! Enough to share and get super stuffed! Next time I will try the gigantic cinnamon rolls!

Bodies of Water
Lake Sacajawea Park Japanese Gardens is a beautiful and serene spot within the expansive Lake Sacajawea Park. Inspired by traditional Japanese garden design, it features a scenic bridge leading to a small island adorned with Japanese-inspired flora, rocks, and water features. The park itself offers ample parking and opportunities for leisurely walks amidst well-maintained grounds.
One of my favorite parks even though it takes me 3 hours on 3 connecting busses to get here from Olympia, WA. I like the Japanese Garden at Lake Sacajawea, but this trip it was closed for Bird Nesting. Too bad, since flowers are blooming now. Walking through the neighborhoods between the bus stop and lake is very nice. Cherry trees are in bloom.

Perfect spot for a quick break or power nap! Free roadside parking makes it super convenient, and the shade from the trees is amazing—especially if there’s a breeze. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and honestly hard to beat. If you’re passing through Longview, this park is a must-stop.

Nice but very small. Stop by to enjoy the park early in the morning.

This park is a wonderful place to visit. The surroundings are serene and peaceful. The landscaping is beautifully manicured. I enjoyed working outside at a park bench while being surrounded by beauty. I recommend this park!

Nice little park, with plenty to do for everyone. The Japanese garden is the best part about the park in my opinion, but the lake is just as good. Small playground on one side of the park, a restroom, and people were walking their dogs around. If you wanted, you could also have a picnic, just wait for summer though.
DaBaby — Google review
These pictures are of the far West side of the lake close to Ocean Beach HWY. On the outer skirts of the lake is a dirt and light gravel wide walking path that circles the whole lake with multiple bridges along the path to cross over to the other side. People walk, run, jog, walk pets, bicycle, and some even kayak out on the lake. On the far West side of the lake is an island they built a walkable wooden bridge to and created a walk-around Japanese Garden that's only open at certain days and times. Around the center of the lake and on the far East side there are multiple playgrounds for kids and there's a multitude of park benches and picnic tables surrounding the entire lake. There's a ton of squirrels, ducks, and geese around the lake depending on the time of year. Everything 4th of July they have a fireworks show and flea market little fairgrounds festival around the center of the lake!
Christopher W — Google review
We arrived on a Sunday and The island was closed. The island looks beautiful from the outside. We were mislead because the hours posted on Google were for the park itself. I've since added the island location and the hours posted to help anyone else interested in visiting. Perhaps on another day we can get to the island itself.

Super relaxing atmosphere, vibes. Super good food, fancy plating. Drinks were good, service was good. And for being high end food wise the pricing wasn't terrible, happy hour appetizers were even filling.

This place was a great find. Being from Denver I didn't expect to find this gem that checked all of our boxes. Great crafted cocktails, food was outstanding & the staff was so nice in addition to their service. My daughter ordered Fondu & dessert, I had tomato basil, side salad lemon basil martini, husband ordered the fish. If you are in the area please give this place a try!

Kelsey was the most delightful waitress! Her recommendations were great. Seriously she patiently put up with us geezers. But she did it with a smile and made us feel right at home. My cappachino even showed up with a smile.

Large menu for the size of restaurant, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. There is an expansive list of tasty and original cocktails that rotates continuously. Service has been outstanding every time. Their Wedge Salad is what they are know for and it never disappoints. During this visit, the mango salsa shrimp salad was flavorful and fresh.

Came on a nice quiet weekday night. Not too many people. The waitress was tentative and kind. Food, delicious! I was hoping for the butternut squash but maybe it's seasonal. But, that's quite alright because the other food was so very good! Thanks! Definitely recommend.

Restaurant
Taco Time NW is a well-established Mexican fast-food chain that offers tacos, crunchy burritos, and meals for children in a simple setting. Located in the Portland area, it distinguishes itself from the Taco Time branch familiar to many customers. Although it bears some resemblance to its counterpart, it is actually operated by a different company. Patrons have expressed their enjoyment of the taco burger and hope that it remains on the menu. The friendly and engaging staff members contribute to positive dining experiences.
Definitely miss this place. The other taco time locations in Oregon just aren't as good. I always make sure to stop here when visiting.
Cassi R — Google review
Today was my first time coming here. A friend of mine told me about this place. Once I walked in no one acknowledge me. About a minute the female cashier looked at me but didn't say anything. So I asked her if she's going to help me. She whispered yes. ( I guess she is shy). 🤷🤷🤷 So, I asked a few questions about the food I'm ordering. And couldn't answer any of my questions. After everything was done. She responded not saying thanks for coming in. Or thanks for choosing us. She said Nothing. Extremely awful guest service.

When I want fresh food I come here. The bean and cheese burritos are great. And the natural super is my favorite. My kids are fans of the taco burger. In all not much has changed in all the years. Really a NW favorite.
Kym M — Google review
I placed an order for 4 BEAN crisp tacos, no tomatoes. When I got home and sat down to eat, I realized they gave me 4 BEEF crisp tacos. It wasn’t a huge deal, I figured I’d just call and let them know and let them make it right the next time I came to town(I only go to town once a week). But to my surprise the staff was incredibly rude. Every time I called and tried to speak to a manager(I was polite) I was hung up on. The next time I was able to go to town, I decided to stop in, but they were closed for renovations or something I guess. So I emailed taco time and nobody responded. I would’ve been cool with 4 bean tacos on my next trip to town, but what gives? I’ll never give taco time my money again.
Corey K — Google review
This was more than $20. Around $18 before delivery. Photo speaks for itself.
Greg D — Google review
Most fancy most expensive I've ever been too! I've been eating at Taco Time restaurants for 40 years. CA, Utah, OR, WA etc. Many locations each state. This one is by far the most fancy and most expensive. Crisp bean burrito $3.99, the beef crisp burrito is now $4.49. .I recently ordered two crisp beef burritos,1 soft beef burrito and a medium drink, it totaled $19.10. (May 20,2024) Its still my favorite fast Mexican food though. I have to say, though I love the quality, style and flavors of the Food at Taco Time, I just can't justify coming here to eat more than once a month, it's just too expensive for fast food. However, This one has the flavors and quality that I expect from any Taco Time location that I have been to.

Roland's Quality Food and Drink, home of Roland Wines, is a delightful destination founded by Marc and Nancy Roland with the aim of making wine enjoyable for everyone in Longview. This charming spot features a wood-oven pizza oven that serves up mouthwatering pizzas to complement their extensive wine selection during events and tastings. While it operates on a counter-order system rather than traditional table service, the friendly staff are always ready to assist with menu recommendations.
Went to Roland’s for a midweek dinner with some friends. If you are expecting table service this isn’t the place for you, you must order at the counter and then they will bring it once it is finished cooking. Staff are friendly and helpful with menu questions/suggestions. The margherita pizza I ordered was cooked to perfection and you could tell they use fresh ingredients. Roland’s has a great outdoor seating area but unfortunately it was raining when we went so I hope to try it out next time! If you’re looking for something different that stands out from the other typical pizza places around Longview/Kelso I say give it a try!

Never been here. I don’t drink but came to see the good music and have some pizza. I got the vegetarian which was a good size for solo and delish! It was on the speedy size. $18 for personalized. But I would come back again!
D. M — Google review
We show up and there were maybe three tables with people. We sat for 50 minutes before getting our food. Meanwhile all the tables filled in and they all got food. Everyone the owner spoke with (personally knew) got food before us and then when I asked if we had been forgotten I was told that everyone who came in after us and ordered an appetizer got served first. We literally sat for 30 minutes while people filled in after us and got served. Then another 20 to get our food. Meanwhile the owners grandkids (?) are running around and not quietly. Food was spendy and not that good. I never post reviews but this one I had to. It was a really bad experience. We spent good money and it was not worth it. Will not go back. Even after asking about long wait time there was no apology. Nothing.
Amy S — Google review
The pizza was fantastic. The service was lacking. With live music provided by Carl and the Whistle Punks, they were very busy. I didn't mind waiting in the long line to place my order. But just as I got to the counter, I was told that they were going to wait ten minutes to take any more food orders because the kitchen was so busy. Instead of taking my order and letting me know that there would be a delay, I had to go back and wait in the long line again!

Tonight was a treat. I’ve traveled to a few states and always try to visit local restaurants. This week, Roland Wine in Longview, Washington. A jazz band playing a mix of Christmas and mainstream music plus a simple menu selection equals a quality experience. The focaccia bread with mozzarella melted inside and an olive oil/balsamic vinegar to drizzle was a meal by itself. Couple this with Foggy Notion Merlot and a choice between wood fired Margarita Pizza and the Pretty Pig and you have a gastrointestinal hit. This is not a large venue and the owner acknowledges this. Just ask him…you can find him mixing with the customers. His goal seems to be to give back to the community. Anywho…come to Roland Winery and leave the better.

Nestled in the heart of Longview, Heavenly Donuts has been a beloved fixture on the West Coast for over three decades. This charming establishment is renowned for its freshly made donuts, crafted daily to ensure maximum flavor and quality. Located conveniently along 15th Avenue, it’s a must-visit spot for anyone craving delightful treats like their famous donut twists, fruit fritters, and classic cake donuts.
Great donuts, always quick to stop and grab some before a morning meeting. Donuts are fresh and tasty. Staff is always quick and polite. The heavenly dozen is a great deal!!
Tim V — Google review
A visit to Heavenly Donuts might seem like an average donut store from the outside, but this is no grocery store bakery! Heavenly donuts is pretty renowned locally, with various gas stations, convenience stores, and other small businesses offering their fluffy treats in various locations around the county. You can’t argue with a place that offers donuts 24/7! They’ve been around since I can remember, with the same quality and the same consistency for decades. The donuts are always fresh and delicious. The variety is pretty remarkable for a smaller shop, complete with the iconic maple bacon bar to colors and sprinkles for the kids. The dough is fluffy and light- much less greasy and dense than a certain national donut donut chain whose glaze is heavy and a bit sickening to the stomach. Heavenly donuts are the kind that are good and don’t make you feel bad about it. Which is both good and a bit dangerous! In the entire surrounding area, there is no better place to swing by and grab a dozen mouth watering donuts for your office or shop to get the day started off with a smile.

Really nice donut shop. Large variety and so many choices. There had tons of donuts ready to go. They were very friendly and patient! My 1st time in there store. I had so many questions?? LoL I bought a mixed dozen with many premium donuts. Some were huge... Everybody really enjoyed the donuts! I felt like it was very reasonable prices especially for the size and quality of the donuts. Very yummy....

The donuts here truly are heavenly! Always fresh, always light and soft. My favorite are the puffies, but they don't always have them, which is disappointing. The coffee's pretty good. And the prices are reasonable, but a little high. The inside could use some sprucing up but if that means they raise the price, then its fine the way it is.

Sights & Landmarks
The Lewis and Clark Bridge, designed by Joseph Strauss, is an impressive cantilever bridge spanning over 8,192 feet across the Columbia River. It connects Longview to Oregon and offers a scenic drive with a viewpoint on the Oregon side. The bridge's height allows cargo ships to pass underneath without the need for a drawbridge. While it only has two lanes, it provides a cool driving experience with minimal traffic.
Very cool! Taken from the viewpoint on US-30, west of Rainier, OR.
Dixie ( — Google review
We usually take the bridge from Portland or Astoria, but for the first time, we took this one from Portland to Seattle. The area is not that nice or photogenic, but the bridge was ok, not much traffic and pretty cool drive. The drive over the bridge is around 1 min without traffic. Always enjoy crossing between the 2 states, Columbia river does put on a nice show every time.
Teo S — Google review
It’s just a bridge. Get over it. Not narrow. Not scary. Just a bridge.
John D — Google review
Not the most aesthetically pleasant looking bridge but it does serve a very important function by providing a connection between Washington and Oregon considering that the other nearby bridges are in Astoria and Portland.
Lennon G — Google review
Scary bridge built in the 30s. Not made to withstand today's traffic load. If you are looking for an alternative, Cathlamet, WA has a charming ferry across to Westport, OR.

I mean it's a bridge but it's fun crossing into Washington.

We had not been to the northen oregon coast, so we decided to drive home the PCH 101 starting at Astoria, OR to San Diego, CA where we cut across CA to home in AZ. We stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge took lots of pics there and along the way during vacation. We drove over the Golden Gate Bridge. We saw Hollywood Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Dr next time I get to shop on those streets. The nine day vacation was needed was so relaxing we did not want the time to end. But we both have our jobs and I was told we will do this vacation again we will just spend more nights at the beach where we love to watch and listen to the waves. To everyone we saw and our family that we stayed with we thank you so much for the hospitality and the conversation. We love you all. D & J

Lexi's Pizza Pub is a local pizzeria known for its delicious pies and friendly staff. The place has a cute vibe and offers good food, although the waiting time can be around 20-30 minutes. They serve ice-cold domestic beer and Pepsi, along with great pizza and garden salad. The crust is really good, and they offer excellent service in an outside covered dining area that is pet-friendly with easy parking.
We’ve visited all of the pizza places in our area, plus! Lexi’s truly stands out above them all! Lexi’s continues to serve the best pizza in Cowlitz County and beyond. Excellent quality product and they do not skimp on the toppings! (See photo). The service is outstanding, the decor is inviting and the patrons are welcoming. It’s definitely Lexi’s for us for the win! We’ve found our pizza place.

I feel dramatic saying this but Lexi’s pizza was my favorite pizza I’ve ever had! We recently moved to Lexington so I’m excited to have such great pizza right down the street. As a family of 4 with two young toddlers it can be a little hectic going out to eat, but it wasn’t crowded and the server was friendly and helpful. We came on a Monday night and spent about $50 ordering from the happy hour menu for all of us which included 3 personal pizzas 1 appetizer and 2 ciders. A perfect amount of food and we even had leftovers. The service was good and the food came out hot and without a super long wait. Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu but the call a cab pizza was amazing.

Pizza was ok. Service was decent, until I had to close a tab I never asked be opened. I swiped my card when I bought my 2 beers, and thought it was a completed purchase. 2 hours later when I went to leave and was informed I had an open tab, the snotty little dude pre-selected a 20% tip, rolled his eyes and said "I've included a 20% tip, unless you want to leave higher." Shady service like that and a sense of entitlement to other peoples money means I've never going back.
Pete — Google review
Husband and I decided on our way to run errands that we wanted pizza. We have gotten pizza from Lexi’s several times, and it is some of the better pizza in the area. I checked the website and the estimated pickup time on the online order page was 20-30 mins. I called to place the order because there was no option to build your own pizza on the website, and was told my medium three-topping pizza would take 45mins! I almost cancelled the order then and there, but figured we could hit the hardware store to take up some time and we would pick it up after. We arrived at the restaurant 40 mins after placing the order. Husband went in to wait and pick the pizza up. He came back out a few minutes later and said “Well, think of something else you want to eat.” Apparently there was a party at the restaurant, and our pizza had not even been started yet! The employee told my husband that it would be another 15 mins. He told her to just cancel the order. An hour to get a pizza, when the website says 20 to 30 mins, and was told 45 mins, is ridiculous. Events at restaurants are not spur of the moment things. They are arranged and planned. Don’t make that the excuse for not being able to serve normal customers in a reasonable amount of time. If you don’t have the staff, then either decline events, or tell regular customers an accurate time frame. Now, won’t be back, won’t recommend the place ever again, and will even actively warn people off if they ask for a pizza recommendation.

Wonderful in nice weather, but a pleasant walking experience any time. The perfect place for kids to run around and have fun as well.

This is one of my favorite lakes in the area! I absolutely love visiting Lake Sacagawea in autumn (the ducks and geese love visiting, too!🦢🦆🪿). I've photographed a few sessions there (you can check out my work if you search for Amarantine Photography) and am never disappointed! It's a beautiful spot to go for a walk or even take your kids to the playground.

My first time visiting the state of Washington and decided on staying in Longview Washington and in this town is this beautiful park that stretches across the town with bridges and different trees and a beautiful lake.. this town takes great care of its parks.. my family and I walked the entire park a few times while we were there and didn't see any trash whatsoever no graffiti.. In fact everyone we saw seemed friendly and at no point did we feel unsafe nor uncomfortable.. this is one of the most beautiful city parks I've seen.. very beautifully maintained in fact the best well maintained park I've been to..and I don't say that lightly.. my visit to Longview Washington was amazing,.. more so because of Lake Sacajawea... Please make sure you pick up after yourself and always go by the leave no trace policy and leave it better than you found it!!

Great walking path. Fun playgrounds. Beautiful trees offer great shade. Fun to watch the ducks.

Besides the beautiful neighborhood and the lillies in the pond, this place was an utter disgusting park. For those who live in Longview and don't have anywhere to take their kids, go somewhere else. This isn't a kid friendly place despite the play ground with the type of people that go there using drugs or dressing inappropriately for being around young children. Yikes. Won't be visiting this park again.

This park is nice and large. Good place for kids to run off energy, but I don't think there is play equipment there.

Located on Louisiana Street, Longview Public Library is a stunning architectural gem that stands out as a must-visit attraction in the city. The building's older and robust architecture adds to its charm, offering a respite from modern structures. Inside, visitors can explore a vast collection of books spanning various genres and delve into the town's rich history. The library also offers free access to magazines and showcases the contributions of individuals who shaped the city.
Longview's Public Library is a joy. From its beautiful architecture to the ease of internet access, excellent computer systems, and printing services, it is a great place to do most any computer projects or research. Downstairs has a beautiful kids area with fun places to read and a great assortment of books for young readers. The high vaulted ceilings makes it a cool place to get out of the heat as well. The trees nearby are amazing. Just west of the library is a train for kids to enjoy.

Easily the coolest building in southern WA. I was amazed at how beautiful the building is, it just feels so regal! Aesthetically the vibes are immaculate, and has an almost Kubrick-like feel to it. The librarians were also super friendly, helping me print out some pages for work and then later when my car wouldn’t start they were very helpful with getting me to start it again too. This place is a jewel and must be protected and respected as much. I am overjoyed that folks have access to places like this still, and pray that they continue for many years to come. I will come back to Longview WA again, if only to spend an afternoon reading in this place.

MAGNIFICENT Library. I want to live there. There, or the Longview Post Office, ANOTHER SPECTACULAR BUILDING! I am so impressed! I got five FREE books!! And FREE magazines! Some were National Geo (the Holy Grail of ALL magazines) GRAPHIC!! Love the library. You, Longview, have a beautiful and big library. FILLED with some books! The ones your giving away . . . I don't understand why. Those should be registered and on the shelves.

Covid had closed the library when I visited so I can't provide a review of its offerings. I did take in views of the structure and it was impressive for a small town. The benefactor of the library (and more), R. A. Long, looks to be a bit of an intellect.

It is a very open and friendly place but the Wi-Fi is pretty hit and miss. They seem to block a lot of things arbitrarily which makes things difficult when you are trying to do work there.

WOW! I’ve been to libraries all over the country. This is easily one of the best. Super cool set up and amazing staff! I can read in a bathtub! At the library! Banned Books Week made me an instant fan. Thank you so much for facilitating great reading for kiddos!!

The inside of the building has an older and more robust architecture compared to most modern buildings today. The selection of books for all genres is vast and plenty, and the showcasing of the town's history as well as the people that helped build this city is truly awe-inspiring. Get a library card and go see what this library has to offer, it's worth spending a lot of time here.

Windemere Park is a charming neighborhood park located in Longview, known for its picturesque walking paths and spacious prairies that turn into snowfields during winter. The park features a long stream where visitors can feed wild ducks and enjoy the serene surroundings. With separate play areas for older and younger kids, it offers ample space for families to relax and enjoy the wildlife. While there is limited seating, the well-maintained park provides a covered area with playground facilities.
Beautifully maintained neighborhood park. Nice covered area with a small playground area including a couple swings, slides, jungle gym, etc. The rest of it is basically an area for all the ducks, geese, and the occasional majestic eagles, to feed and swim. So if u like to feed the birds, you've come to the right place. A quiet and beautifully manicured park!

This park has two play areas, one for older kids and one for younger, and they have a good bit of space between them, either making it hard to keep an eye on kids of differing ages or easy to keep your little one out of the path of bigger, older kids. It also has great views of the slough and all the wildlife that live in it. Not much seating, though, so maybe bring your own chair if you think you're staying a while.

This welcoming venue, situated in the historic district on Commerce Avenue, offers a vibrant atmosphere where older adults can engage in various activities and socialize with peers. With its proximity to beautiful parks and local amenities, it’s an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy nature while participating in community events.
The best place around for so many social activities! Karaoke, pinochle, cribbage, wood carving, bingo, pool, and more- + my favorite Line Dance classes. And top notch Live Bands to dance to every Tues, Thurs and every Sunday. Friendly and So much Fun! You can't beat this place!

We went to their rummage sale yesterday, one of the workers dropped their pen in the walkway. My brother pointed it out to her as a trip hazard because many folks were using canes and walkers. She yelled at him that it was just a pen and that he was just trying to steal it and starts screaming at him to get away from her. My brother is an honorably discharged United States Marine, he was wearing his hat with all his medals on it. This level of rudeness is intolerable for anyone but especially for someone who fought for her freedom to be a rude witch. Will never shop there again, nor will we be donating again. Unacceptable behavior.

Dibblee Beach, located in Rainier, Oregon, is a picturesque spot on the coast of the Columbia River. It's just a short drive from Longview over the Lewis and Clark Bridge. The beach offers stunning views of Longview from across the river and is perfect for a day of sunbathing and relaxation. Visitors can set up tents and mats on the sandy shore to soak up some sun while enjoying the beautiful landscape.
I like it it is very nice there but Google map took us to a house so if you are driving on highway 30 you turn on Mill road and when you reach a railroad crossing sign turn right and first thing you will see is the fee pay station I provided a picture where you need to turn right so you don't miss it and keep going according to the map
H M — Google review
Great place to spend the day fishing and walking on the beach. There is no running water bathroom, only portable potty.
Adam C — Google review
I spent a lot of time at RAINIER beach in the '80s and into the '90s. We'd go there and BBQ, have some beers, and ride 3 and 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, sand rails, buggies, 4x4s, various beaters, etc. It was a blast. Now half of it is a gypsum plant and the rest you have to pay to park? I suppose it's OK for people who want a quiet day on the river without people ripping around, and who are willing to pay just for a sandy spot on the river (right across from the mills... what natural beauty). But there are other places for that and many are free. Why take the one place where locals could go tear up the sand, have fun and get a little crazy in relative safety? These days it seems if they can't build a commercial or industrial operation on it, they gentrify it and charge money for access. No thanks.
Jack G — Google review
What a great beach! Be sure to follow the road signs and NOT Google maps once you get close, otherwise you’ll end up at a random house. We arrived around 5pm on a 100° day and drove to the left once entering the park. There were people there, but it was in no way packed. You’re able to park practically right on the beach. It was awesome being so close to the car to grab snacks and supplies. The water was clean and perfectly sandy - no rocks! We brought our dog and kept her leashed the entire time (beach rule) but definitely saw plenty of other dogs unleashed. Everyone seemed to act responsibly and keep the place clean during our visit, which was refreshing compared to other river spots. It’s in a bit of an industrial river area, but we had no issue with that. Also worth mentioning, you’re required to pay a $5 parking fee on arrival. They were out of payment envelopes though, probably due to the heat and popularity of the park on the day we chose to visit. We wrote a note to stick on our dash explaining that there were no payment envelopes, but no one ever came to check. I’d gladly pay the fee next time though. Totally worth the $5 for a safe, clean, and relatively empty river experience. So glad we stumbled upon this place!
Kelsey D — Google review
Keep it clean. Pack it in pack it out! If you get stuck here contact the park host or on Facebook look up oregon off road recovery. Join the group send a location and help will be there. Get a pass because it's a pay to play park. If you don't it's not going to be good for you but very expensive. Don't mess around and win expensive prizes.
Northwest E — Google review
Immediately upon entering this Park a leash-less dog jumped up on my car and left a few scratches. Turns out it's the caretakers dog. Once I spoke with said caretaker, he seemed to care more about seeing my day pass. He did offer to "buff out" the scratches though. I suppose one can't expect much common decency anymore.
Michael B — Google review
Nice place to walk my dog along the beach most days. Roads are dirt with lots of potholes. Can be crowded fishing days. The park used to be free but now there is a fee to park. They have not made any improvements so why do they charge now? If there was no fee I would give it 4 stars.
Matthew H — Google review
I absolutely love it here especially pebble beach! 😍 as long as people pay the 5 dollars to go enjoy the beach and clean up after they're done this beach will always be the spot. One thing I know for sure it will always be my spot! 💚

In addition to views of Mount St. Helens, this national forest also features a popular cave trail.
Definitely a more challenging hike than what some online sources list it as. Very fun and rewarding though! Inside the caves is very chilly so make sure to dress warmer than what the weather says. Make sure to wear sturdy supportive foot wear.
Deacon — Google review
Ape Cave was wonderful. No Apes in sight. There are two trail options once you descend into the cave. A straightforward one way in and out, we did this and it took us about 1.5hrs. We’re also a bit slow because we stop to stare at the rock formations and make shadow puppets etc The other end is supposed to be a bit more strenuous and requires climbing over large formations and has an alternate exit. We had already been hiking and my kids were not up for something too crazy. Do what makes sense for yourself and your family. Do bring some layers as it gets pretty cold down there; colder than I expected for sure. Wear comfy shoes, it’s very uneven. A walking stick would be useful to anyone needing a little support. Flashlights and headlamps are a must.
Anjuli W — Google review
This is a really great place with 2 very separate experiences. I did the lower cave earlier this year and it was a wonderful, easy walk through a lava tube with very cool rooms and features. The upper cave is, what feels like, a 1.5 mile scramble over boulders. This is no joke. I am in relatively good shape, and didn't have many problems, but be prepared to be using both hands and maneuvering around huge boulders and climbing giant rock fields in the tube. You have to be much more careful watching where you step in the cave pretty much every step. You will definitely need a GOOD headlamp and definitely recommend wearing gloves. You will be climbing all over really jagged rocks. I definitely recommend doing both caves, but separately. If you do have to do them both days, I recommend doing the upper cave first if you are up for the challenge. We thought we were going to do them both in one day, and after the lower and starting the upper, it was a bit much. It would be cool to camp and to one on two separate days. The 8 foot flow, does require a bit of agility to get up and don't count on a rope or ladder. Happy adventures. They are both totally worth it. :)
Nature C — Google review
Our visit to Ape Cave today was absolutely incredible! We explored the Lower Cave, and it was one of the most unique experiences we’ve ever had. The moment you step inside, you feel the temperature drop and are surrounded by fascinating lava rock formations that tell the story of Mount St. Helens’ volcanic past. It’s amazing to think you’re walking through an ancient lava tube that’s thousands of years old. One thing I didn’t anticipate was how uneven and rugged the floor would be—it really adds to the adventure, but make sure you wear sturdy shoes and watch your step. The cave can get very dark, so bring multiple flashlights or headlamps with extra batteries. The park recommends at least two sources of light per person, and I completely agree! Despite the physical challenge, it was incredibly fun and memorable. The kids loved spotting the cave walls glittering under our lights, and we all felt like explorers discovering something hidden beneath the earth. Ape Cave is a must-see for anyone visiting southwest Washington—thrilling, educational, and unforgettable! FYI the lower portion is not a loop it’s out and back. The trail ends.
Bryan 4 — Google review
Fantastic underground hike. Don’t forget headlights/flashlights or lamps. But if you do, they do have some to rent if there are any left. 2 mile long stretch of cave. 1/2 mile walk with relatively easy hike and going back under the stairs is a more difficult 1.5 mile hike/climb over piles of boulders. Highly recommend head lamps to make sure you have hands free, despite my 9yo jumping around them flashlight in hand.
Tyler J — Google review
Fascinating hike in a pitch black lava tube! Make a reservation online and take the appropriate equipment, especially for the lower hike. You’ll need a really good headlamp
Poppy P — Google review
Don’t miss the Upper Cave at Ape Cave — it’s a true adventure! This part of the cave is more challenging but incredibly fun, with rock scrambles, narrow passages, and uneven terrain that make you feel like a real explorer. Be sure to bring gloves (you’ll need your hands to climb) and two reliable light sources — it’s pitch dark inside. If you're up for a lot of excitement, the Upper Cave is totally worth it!
Lu Y — Google review
Great spot, plenty of parking. You do need a timed entry to enter. Depending on how adventurous you can pick between the upper or lower part to explore or do both. We did the lower, which is easier. You will need a light source other than your phone flashlight, it is pitch black.

It's a small historic theater that has great atmosphere & great acoustics! The workers/volunteers are really friendly & helpful. I would have given it 5 stars but: It's not the easiest place for older people, or anyone with a disability or balance problems, to get to their seats because the floor is at such a steep slant. Plus the restrooms are upstairs (no elevator). So if you need to use the restroom you have to tell a theater volunteer & they will escort you all the way to the front restrooms that are behind the scenes.

Dog park
Great fencing, agility course, sandpits porta potty, seperate small dog park lots of poop bags. Only downside is water buckets are pretty gross. Would recommend bringing your own bowl. Spay/neutered only.

PROS - Gravel path around the whole park - Access to plenty of fresh water. Spigots and buckets. - The rules. Posted in pictures. We are HUGE proponents of these rules. We believe they should be at every park. - Lots of trees - Covered area - Picnic tables - Several poo bag stations, good quality bags and well stocked - Tunnels - Logs to play/sit on - Agility equipment - Dirt and grass- entire park - On the larger size - Double-gated - Plenty of parking CONS - Lots of rogue poops (THE ONLY REASON IT IS NOT 5 STARS. The pros outweigh losing more stars) - One trash only at gates NEUTRAL - Small dog size, access gates between inside of parks as well as enter gate - Porta-Potty at entrance

Great place for dogs of all sizes. Grass, a trail along the fenceline, small trees, water spigots and buckets, piles of dirt to dig and plenty of space to run. For people - a couple of benches and covered picnic area. We meet great dogs and people here. All are friendly. They need to pick up after their dogs, though - I would rate 5 stars if it was cleaned up better.
Julie R — Google review
Nice sized dog park with two separate sections, one for large and one for small dogs. Water and swimming pools are available for both sides as well as poop bags. The large dog section has a covered patio area with two picnic tables. There is lots of shade, but people could really work on picking up after their dog as I saw several piles of poo. The smell that some people are commenting on is not from the dog park, it is from the mulching facility directly next door. I'm from out of state and was visiting and everyone I met was very friendly. They have sand pits for the dogs to dig in and a trail that you can walk around the entire circumference of the dog park. It's so nice when my dog and I can find a dog park where she meets friendly dogs and the locals are friendly as well. We travel full time in an RV and she really enjoys getting out and running around. The parking lot is full of giant potholes, so the city/county could really attend to these or at least patch them.

Had a great time. There was even a sand pit. My little digger loved playing in. Friendly dogs and owners, big parking lot, portable pottys available
Kimberly W — Google review
Spacious and well maintained. Great view if the water while you play with the pups!
Rachel C — Google review
Place is funded in part through local donations, which is why the grass isn’t as good as it could be. Takes a lot of $ to compete with all the use it gets and dogs that dig. Overall, a useful dog park. Has a port-o-john, water for the dogs to drink, a trash for poop bags, and a gavel path for walking laps while your dog plays.
Mike M — Google review
It’s a great place for your dog if it isn’t busy. Apparently even if you’re there first and someone shows up with a smaller dog then your you get treated badly by people with small dogs for being there with your dog when they show up. This town sucks.

If you're into old-timey stuff, I am, then this is the place to go! The Stella Museum has a lot of cool historical items and friendly, well-informed staff. I don't want to spoil your experience by giving away too much. It'll be more fun to explore it yourself.
Donna H — Google review
Very interesting cute little place definitely must stop by within their working business hours to check it out
Alexandria T — Google review
A variety of artifacts are on display to help visualize how life must have been years ago, and preserve some of the local history. Open the weekend after July 4th through the weekend before Labor Day. Sat. & Sundays, 11am - 4pm

Old and historic stuff. Very kind and knowledgeable tour guide. Our daughter's name is Stella. 😊

This is a great little museum that is filled with interesting artifacts and history from our local area. The museum is open during the summer on Saturdays and Sundays or by special appointment. Look for the open sign and road banners.
Kevin M — Google review
The museum is a true snapshot of times past on the Columbia River. You'll see many things from the early 1900's, from the actual post office to lots of artifacts, logging equipment and a working blacksmith shop. Some construction is underway, and when it's done, all the charm of the PNW will shine. The docents are so knowledgeable and make the tour so informative. We really enjoyed our visit!

This place is fantastic!! The fellow who runs it is full of historical information and facts. Would highly recommend this as a family day trip or done as a school field trip.
Yvonne G — Google review
Great if you can find it open. Be sure to call before your visit - they will open for you.

Visited for Squirrel Fest and Crafted Brewfest. Nice open space and easily accessible.

I found myself in old Longview where diagonal streets, Olympia way and Washington way intersect at the heart of the city. R.A. Long square is central and laid out to be the center of social meeting place in city. I had been told that the city was planned and constructed as a company town for the relocation of Long-Bell Timber company from Missouri. As a planned city design by George Kessler and founded by Robert A. Long it has quite a bit of open space with many notable buildings of 1920's vintage that face the square. It is nice that many buildings are made of stone as I am sure it was tempting to use wood frame construction for a lumber town. A winter storm had just blew through, but the walks were clear with little standing water. It was very walkable. I plan to explore more around this area in the future.

It was cool when Pokémon Go was big now too many protesters or bum's you can decide which is which. 2/5 Acorns if I was a squirrel

Very festive for Christmas. Love the new gazebo at the center of the park. Donated tree and the ceiling green and red lights on the inside of the roof.

Park
A nice park with a playground, Tennis court and a nice tree lined sidewalk to walk your dog. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. There was a public restroom but didn’t use it.
Kimberly M — Google review
When I arrived back home it was very, noisy? It sure has been peaceful the last few days. Wow! Love this place as our children should run safe and FREE! Awesomeness!
Louie I — Google review
The park was very fun. It was nice and clean, and it felt very safe. There was other kids that were there and everyone seemed to be having fun. My young daughter loved the swings and we took her down the slide, although it's definitely not made for adults as I almost got stuck lol. All in all the park was very nice and we enjoyed our picnic. The only downside would be that there are no bathrooms but in all honesty we weren't there long enough to need any.
Macey L — Google review
Yes the park is nice and tennis courts are ok but the pickleball courts are below average. The pickleball courts are lined in a unique way so the tennis nets can be used for two courts or portable nets used to create four courts. The local club has a box which presumably contains nets. The courts could be transformed into 6 or 8 beautiful dedicated courts but until then Clary courts set the standard.
Paul P — Google review
Great place to ride your bike enjoy your self and play tennis.
Jake K — Google review
Really nice park, in a nice part of town. My daughter enjoyed herself and there were plenty of things for her 2yr old self to play on. Only wish it had more seating. Beautiful setting and lawns.
Dr. H — Google review
My son loves this park, and it's only a half-hour walk from home. Families that live in that area are all super nice, and all the kids have lots of fun. Plus, there's tennis courts.
Justin H — Google review
Pretty nice park for the kids, but it does get busy.

Rented and used Lion's Shelter (Lake Sacajawea) August 5, 2017. Lovely area and we will use it again. Only drawbacks were: 1) the shelter was very littered...we had to borrow a broom from park staff and clean it up. Cigarette butts all over, and about a dozen egg shells under one table. Definitely not clean (and we paid for it); and 2) the bathrooms near Lion Shelter were horrible! No toilet paper, wet toilet paper on the wet floor, plugged toilet, toilet that had overflowed, etc. Needs just a little TLC.

We are lucky to have such a wonderful parks and recreation department in our community! We have utilized many of the classes and events over the years!
