Arthurs Seat State Park is a charming public park that offers sweeping bay views and a variety of nature hikes, gardens, and wildlife. The park features rustic dirt paths with stunning ocean views, including the spectacular view across Port Phillip Bay from Matthew Flinders Cairn. Visitors can explore an expansive network of trails, lookouts, and picnic areas suitable for leisurely strolls or adventurous hikes.
Great experience on the Sea Eagle, the views were spectacular. The facilities are modern and the gondolas were comfortable and very smooth to ride in.

We loved our experience here. It was a sunny winters day when we visited. What stood out the most was how friendly the staff were. Children under 4 are free which is a lovely bonus! The gift shop at the base is also very reasonably priced which parents will appreciate!

A beautiful place to visit and have a lovely day. The view from the view points are really awesome. The view from the cable car is just too good to miss.
Henry A — Google review
Great day trip from Melbourne. Public transport from Melbourne cbd near to the cable car base station, short walk from the bus stop at visitor centre. Cable car ride to and from the park, views are exceptional on a clear day. There is a summit walk around the state park with a few lookout points. We could see the entire Mornington peninsula upto Melbourne cbd from the lookouts. Spotted kangaroos in the park. There are picnic areas in the park, cafe at summit station too.

Heronswood Gardens & Nursery, situated in a historic home with Gothic Revival architecture, offers stunning views of Port Phillip Bay. The property was built in 1871 for Dr. William Hearn and is considered of national architectural importance. Visitors can enjoy a small but high-quality menu at the on-site cafe, which uses ingredients from the gardens. The gardens themselves are a highlight, offering a peaceful atmosphere to wander and admire the diverse range of plants available for purchase at the nursery.
Located in Dromana, Victoria. Such a unique, beautiful place with a historical building that is turned into a cafe. A great view from the cafe outdoor seatings. The building is stunning inside and out. I had easily spent 3 hours just wandering around and taking photos of the place. The cafe they have on site offers a small simple menu, but the food was really good. There is an entry fee to enter the garden. $15.00 per adult. I would definitely come back again to admire the building and the view again.
Naomi L — Google review
Even on a grey drizzly late autumn day the gardens were still charming enough for a gentle stroll and coffee in the beautiful stone heritage building (now cafe). The highlight of my visit were flocks of these darting honeyeaters reminiscent of hummingbirds of the Americas. Delightful.
Perry — Google review
This is a lovely garden and nursery. We also had lovely scones and the coffee was ok. Make sure to explore the whole garden as there are many unique older plants in the borders.
Jon A — Google review
Such a well organised and beautiful place to visit. Take your time wandering through the gardens, relax on the lawn, stop for a snack or lunch at the Cafe which is inside the homestead itself and nose around the shop on your way out where you will find knowledgeable and super friendly staff ready to assist you.
Nikki F — Google review
Entrance to the garden: $15, which is decent for such a place, children are free. The cafe closed at 3 pm, which was a bit of a pity, because I expected it to be open the same way as the garden. The garden is very beautiful, but on a hot day it was difficult to walk around it all. The house is very historical and beautiful. I recommend visiting on a cloudy and cool day will be ideal.
Sena L — Google review
Ooo what a beautiful garden. Absolutely stunning. The views from the garden as well were stunning. Staff as you enter were absolutely fantastic & very helpful.
Linda C — Google review
✨ One of my favourite places to ramble about, whatever the weather or season, it’s always different and always beautiful. The staff keep the grounds looking so beautiful and the atmosphere of the house, shop and garden is charming and peaceful. Stunning views across the bay, from this historical homestead. 🧼 Clean and well kept facilities. 🗺️ Easy to navigate. No maps provided or required. ⏰ You could easily spend a good few hours or whole afternoon here, exploring the garden, relaxing and the cafe and browsing the shop. But you can also have a nice wee poke about in as little as an hour if you choose. 🍽️ The cafe is delightful and has delicious seasonal options, including vegetarian options. They have fork to fork dining so you know the food is as fresh as can be. 🪑 If you need a rest, there are a few benches located around the gardens and in the cafe or you can bring a blanket and sit under one of the many big trees. 🛍️ The Digger’s Club shop has endless handy and delightful bits and pieces for the house and garden and honestly, I could spend a small fortune there on plants and cute things. 🚗 Easy parking on site and free, but is on the side of the hill, so drop off anyone with mobility issues by the gate before parking. 🎟️ No booking required. Usually rather quiet. However, group tours for 15 or more people can be pre-booked. 💰 Garden entry for members and under 16s. $15 for non members. Free entry for shop and nursery. 🤝🏻 Unsure if companion cards are accepted. 🏅 A selection of festivals, events, workshops and masterclasses on throughout the year. Check website for details. ♿️ From what I can see there is some accessibility for wheelchairs, but due to the steep incline of the land there is limited access to some parts of the property so one need proceed with care. Check website or call for more details. 🐕 Leashed dogs welcome. Must bring bags for cleaning up after them. ♥️ A wonderful place for a visit with family, friends or a date. ✅ A relaxing and magical environment, rich with gardening inspiration. Highly recommend! 🥰💐

Movie Theaters
Dromana 3 Drive-In is the last remaining drive-in cinema in Victoria located outside of Melbourne. It features three separate screens showcasing the latest movie releases during evening showings. Visitors have the option to watch from their cars or set up chairs and blankets outside. The on-site American diner offers made-to-order burgers and other classic treats, creating a nostalgic experience reminiscent of the old days.
Attended this weekend after craving the ‘drive in experience’ which is no longer available close by in my area. Took me about 35mins each way but was completely happy with how it all went and will definitely be returning again for many more movie nights! Was pleasantly surprised upon entering the snack bar building to find that you can actually purchase items displayed in the glass cabinets (at least that’s what I’m assuming based on the price tags attached). Can’t wait for my next visit!
Michael — Google review
So after staying at partners new share house over a spring weekend we decided t try the drive in as first timers. We watched Beetlejuice 2, and as far as the experience goes it was just okay. There wasn’t much signage at the property to indicate where to go, and all staff seemed to not care. Some plaques on the poles were missing which meant that you didn’t know what number to select to order food to the car, so had to go order in the diner which had a nice 60’s feel but was long line and ended up missing first bit of the movie waiting for the food. Diner also closed whilist movie was on so you had to be quick with orders. The food was good got two decent burgers for the price but I’d say bring your own drinks and snacks as everything else was very overpriced especially the soft drinks. Overall, the actual movie experience was good, still enjoyed it for a date night out and close to the peninsula but it seemed more of a one rime thing rather then something we’d come back to.
Owen F — Google review
We saw the 3 drive-in screens when driving down the highway and decided to go to relive our childhoods. Food from the cafe was okay (but not great, mixed temperatures add a bit greasy, but they had a veggie burger. Staff were very friendly! Lots of families in the cars near us - they were organised and had chairs and blankets. We sat in our car with windows down a bit so we didn't fog up. We had to google how to get our radio to work in our newish keyless car, and it stopped about 4 times during the move but easy to restart. Overall, it was a fun experience, good sound and picture quality.
Michele P — Google review
Saw lilo & stitch with my partner last night and had a wonderful time! We got 2 cheesy hot dogs, a pack of pods, large popcorn & 2 drinks for $65, movie tickets are cheap but not so much the food. Popcorn was delicious we were stoked. The diner has awesome iconic movie decorations which are definitely worth looking at. We had an awesome time! My car battery died after the movie and they came out to zap her back up without a complaint which was really nice! We will definitely be back again ☺️
Brianna B — Google review
Fun vintage retro place to come hangout & watch a movie with family & friends, the service is lovely the people were kind though it can get quite busy fast I recommend going 30-40 minutes early before the movie starts to get good parking, you should also go in to get your snacks as early as you can! don’t leave it late last minute the waiting line for food & drinks is insane! Nice decor though very retro, however I was a tad bit disappointed how the screen is basically black for 20 minutes after it’s supposed to start & doesn’t even start right away, then there’s ads so there’s a lot of waiting & your car gets foggy fast! So you have to turn it on and off constantly, don’t recommend coming here when it’s winter probably better in the summertime!❤️🥤🍿
Phoebe D — Google review
The perfect place for a retro-feels wholesome date night! I went with my boyfriend and the staff were all lovely, the car spaces were very spacious, the food was great (popcorn was insanely good) and the decor of the diner was incredible! It definitely felt like a happy place to be. Will come back for sure!
Fiona M — Google review
I’ve been here 3 times now. The people at the entry are always amazing but today the guy in the cafe was terrible. Not only did he tell me he couldn’t take the cheese off my hotdog because they cannot do that even though I have allergies..I then asked for a cup of hot water, I was happy to pay but $5 for a cup of hot water was a bit ridiculous…this place is great but the guy serving today ruined the experience.
The A — Google review
A wonderful date night location and the ideal setting for watching a movie with your own snacks in your car. A fun experience, and they also provide services to jump those cars at the end who's battery has gone flat if needed. Toilets and a small restaurant/cafe for snacks nearby.

Seawinds Gardens, located in Arthurs Seat State Park on the Mornington Peninsula, is a historic garden offering expansive views, walking paths, seasonal foliage, and picnic facilities. The gardens feature William Ricketts sculptures and are known for their beautiful trees, plants, and wildlife. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks along gravel paths with easy accessibility and marked attractions. The area offers plenty of parking, toilets, a playground, and BBQ facilities for a full day of nature exploration.
Absolutely outstanding! Everything exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to picnic or take the family for a stroll, garden and lawns are kept well, especially with the friendly local wildlife in the evenings, the views are the best on the peninsula. If it you get the chance, there is also a cable car run down the mountainside.. Five stars well deserved!

Great place for an easy hike with family or group of friends. Has plenty of walking trails and lookouts that provide incredible and refreshing views of Mornington Peninsula. There is a small playground too and BBQ spots for family picnic. It was a lovely experience for us especially on a fair weather!

If you want to see a lot of kangaroos in the wild and up close - this is the place to do it. A lot of kangaroos feeding on the grass, spectacular views of the bay, ducks as well, beautiful ponds. Really beautiful, calm and relaxed place. We were there on a sunny Sunday afternoon in mid December (a bit of a wind chill) and there were maybe less then 8 people there. Would recommend
Wealthy — Google review
Beautiful gardens, lots of amazing trees, plants and wildlife. Joeys were still in kangaroo's pouches, very peaceful. Beautiful views and quite good accessibility. Some small stairs but easy access around these along gravel path. Was busy but still able to find lots of pockets of quiet and stillness. It's a beautiful place to visit for anyone, especially those visiting or new to the area. Had a lovely sunny afternoon - the paths and attractions are really well marked. Spent a while watching the ducks near the lovely pond, and absolutely gorgeous twilight views over the ocean. Would highly recommend- there are toilets and a Cafe located back up the road near the gondola station, but I always prefer Wombat Cafe for vegan treats and excellent coffee to take up - much less busy and better priced (still expensive but much more worth it!). Can't wait to go back.

Dromana Beach, located in the holiday resort of Dromana on Port Phillip Bay, has been a popular destination since the 19th century. The foreshore area is well-maintained with picnic shelters, barbecues, and play areas. The shallow and sheltered beach is ideal for families and offers a pier with stunning views. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of nearby hills and indulge in shopping and dining experiences close to the beach.
Cool, calm and peaceful place to visit. Even though it is one of the beautiful beech here in Melbourne but still you can find nice place to spend your day. The best time to go there is when sun is slightly hotter means around 28 degrees or over. This place has a small shopping centre near the beach so in case you have reached here in rush you can still find lots of food and other things around the shopping centre. Some nice cafe are also available.
Bhagesh C — Google review
Had an evening stroll here after our dinner at the nearby restaurant and was heartbroken to see that so much rubbish, particularly plastic bottles, are dumped at such a beautiful beach! I just can’t comprehend how these beach goers feel so entitled that their convenience is so much more important than the local environment and the marine life when the rubbish bins are just metres away. I’ve been living in Melbourne for over a decade and have never seen a beach as dirty and polluted as this, absolutely shameful!
Chenfei B — Google review
Made a short stop here recently in early April on the way back to Melbourne. Nice beach and few people around at mid morning. Cute colourful huts along the beach.
Google L — Google review
Beautiful beach with sunshine, lovely and quiet place. Worthy to visit.
Amos L — Google review
Beautiful beach. The colourful little houses add character to this beach!
K K — Google review
This is a beautiful long beach with clear water and clean sand. It has a lovely pier and plenty of good shops just across the rd. The beach has cute little painted private boat sheds which add a lovely interesting charm to the area. Stunning views of Mount Martha from the beach or back to Arthur's Seat from the water. Public toilet facilities are open all summer in daylight hours and are fairly basic but usually clean and stocked with paper. Cold showers available at the facilities near the pier. Some picnic table gazebos with water tap are also located just back from the beach along the pretty walkway. There are bins provided but on very busy days its better just to take your rubbish home with you to avoid messy overflow. There are a couple of small carparks with on street parking being the other option. Bus stops also.
Vanessa M — Google review
Beach is quite nice but like most beaches you need some good weather. Unfortunately we visited just after a storm and there was a lot washed up on the beach. Still nice however with quite a few bath boxes nearby. Quite close to the road which can be challenging, and parking is somewhat limited depending on where you stop off.

Something about the sound of the water, and the sea breeze …. It’s soul feeding. A great place for a picnic. I particularly like to visit the beach on overcast days and the best part is that the ice cream and gelato shops are right across

Enchanted Adventure Garden is a nature wonderland in Melbourne, offering an array of activities for visitors of all ages. From tree surfing and canopy walks to tube slides and themed gardens, there's something for everyone. Kids can enjoy treetop zip lines, hedge mazes, aerial obstacles, and more. The park also features an outdoor sculpture park and an indoor three-dimensional maze.
Undoubtedly, I highly recommend this wonderful place. It’s delightful at any time of the year. It’s a true masterpiece, with plenty of playgrounds for kids, and I would even say for adults too. Being there felt like stepping into a movie. This place especially reminded me of the film "Edward Scissorhands"! 1990)😊👍 This is a great location for shooting films and TV series. It's consistently reliable year after year! I'm shocked that no one has made a movie here yet! This place is "perfect"!
K K — Google review
Lovely scenery, but activities can be limited if you are not doing tree surfing. We had a great picnic, blessed with beautiful weather, played with tube slide, hedge maze and lovely walk in the area. Nonetheless, there could have been more activities provided for families who are not doing tree surfing, especially at entrance ticket prices like these for a family which is quite steep. Overall, it was a good experience mainly due to the weather.
Ginelle L — Google review
We had an absolute ball at Enchanted Adventure on the Mornington Peninsula! The mazes were creative and fun to explore, and the tube slides were a highlight – fast, exciting and perfect for all ages. The gardens are beautifully kept, offering plenty of fresh air and a wonderful chance to enjoy nature at its best. It’s a fantastic day out for families or groups looking for something different. Do note that tree surfing and zip lines are only available on weekends, so plan accordingly. With so much to do and see, it’s easy to spend hours here. A truly memorable experience and one we’d happily return to again. Highly recommended for a fun and active outdoor adventure!
Warren O — Google review
Cute place to spend half a day. We went on a weekday in June and it was pretty deserted. We had the tube slides completely to ourselves for half an hour in the morning. The mazes and gardens were fun to walk through. We definitely took our sweet time, and it still only took an hour, so believe it when people say that this isn’t more than a half-day excursion. It was only with the Grand aerial obstacle course that we stretched it out to five hours at the park. The obstacle course was fun, though. Very well run, there are five paths to follow so no one path ever feels crowded or jammed. Each path ends with a zip line, with the fourth and fifth being the longest, and the fifth being the prettiest. You go at your own pace and as long as you finish before two hours, you can do the Tarzan swing and maybe the rock wall at the end. They’re pretty strict about the two hours even when the park is completely empty. We didn’t know about the two hour cut off, so they squeezed in the Tarzan swing for us anyway as we were right at the two hour mark.
Angela S — Google review
Enchanted adventure is next to Arthur’s park nearby Rye. It was a good one. First i thought ticket fee(adult: $40, kid: $30) was expensive. Inside first part was simple playground.but i realized there were much more inside such as epic tube slide, the tree surfing and the Sky Scramble areas. Administration didnt say anything about these. It was a big fun anyway. You wont be upset. I am sure you will be happy to be there.
Dr. V — Google review
Lots to see and do. All the staff had a great attitude. The grounds are large and you will need lots of energy to do tree surfing and explore all the grounds. Hopefully the tube slides get a pulley system so we don't have to drag tubes up the hill. The new hedge maze needs to be a bit higher as I could see over the top.
Ash W — Google review
What an amazing time we had. The gardens were beautiful with autumn leaves. My kid loved running around the mazes, climbing up the tree houses and the slides. So many activities to keep them occupied. We spent about 3 hours there and my son didn't want to leave. The park is taken care of very well. Would definitely come back and also recommend parents to bring their kids here. Pack a little picnic!
Ranthini — Google review
Fantastic park which is so well maintained The gardens are beautiful and manicured, the activities are great for a good range of ages. We didn't do the tree climbing activities but the general admission included so many other activities. The skytree climbing frame is an excellent way for kids to explore and practice their climbing. Please note that the skytree climbing is limited for children under 135cm and strictly no adults are allowed on the structures. Really great day out and would love to come back for another visit

Pt. Leo Estate is a stunning coastal winery located on the Mornington Peninsula, offering vineyard tours, cellar door tastings, and an outdoor modern sculpture gallery. The estate features two acclaimed restaurants - Laura and Pt Leo Restaurant - both of which were named among Victoria's best in the 2018 delicious.100 restaurant guide.
Bringing the children to this sculpture park winery felt like stepping into a canvas where art and nature blend seamlessly. The open lawns were dotted with sculptures — some lively, some solemn — each quietly telling its own story. The kids ran freely, full of curiosity as they explored the harmony of art and nature, while I savored a glass of fragrant wine, taking in the beauty all around. A gentle breeze swept through, and in the distance, the vineyard shimmered softly under the sunlight. In that moment, artistic inspiration, the calm of nature, and the laughter of my children intertwined, creating an unforgettable and precious experience. I’ll be recommending this place to many more friends!

We had a milestone celebration and was looking for something a little bit "special" we had heard about Pt Leo Laura restaurant, so decided to give it a go. It certainly did not disappoint. Our table gave us plenty of room to enjoy a panoramic view of the sculpture park and coastline. The service and attention was at the right level and the food was magnificent - from the amuse bouche, flambe lobster at the table to the final coffee we had an amazing dining experience. I would definitely recommend, make sure there is plenty of room on your credit card, but worth every cent. 👍👍👍👍👍

A group of us came to Pt. Leo Estate in Flinders on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday lunch. The winery is situated on Victoria's pristine Mornington Peninsula and the estate is home to 50 acres of vines, sculpture park and restaurant. It is a really idealic and beautiful location, in which the restaurant and winery overlook the vineyards and bay. On arrival, I joined the birthday girl and others at the bar, whilst waiting for our restaurant table to be ready. A bartender told me that I wouldn't be allowed to sit at the bar, as we had reached our maximum capacity of group of 7. After looking around and seeing about 30 available seats from nearby tables, and counting 7 of us at the bar, she said that it was okay for me to stay there. This was a bit of a negative experience as her attitude towards me felt very hostile, and not a pleasant way to be greeted. After being seated for lunch at around 1:30pm, we were guided through the menu by a waiter, and we all ordered our drinks and selected our mains. Despite our booking being from 1:30pm for lunch, we did not receive our entrees until 2:48pm, so it was a very long wait. Our main meals did not arrive until 3:36pm, and dessert arrived at 4:14pm. Fortunately, we were all enjoying ourselves and the dining experience, but that is far too long to be waiting for our food, especially since we had pre-booked this birthday event months in advance. Additionally, there were 4 people on our table with dietary requirements. The waiter (accidentally) made an error and gave one of the celiac girls an entree with gluten in it, which could have been quite detrimental to her had she eaten it. After alerting the staff of this, they were quite apologetic and the manager came up to her personally to apologise and inform her that she had reminded the waiters and kitchen staff of our table's dietary intolerances and allergies. They were kind enough to waive the fee for some of our hot beverages as a compensation for making the dietary error. After our dining experience, we went for a short walk to look at the sculpture park. It was a very windy and chilly day, so we didn't stick around for too long after that. Overall, Pt. Leo Estate is a very beautiful estate with winery and vineyard. The food was tasty, but the wait times were extremely long. The customer service was reasonable, but at times needed improvement in terms of friendliness and ensuring dietary intolerances were considered.

What a stunning location in nice weather. As a Google reviewer my main interest is the cuisine. I had the pleasure of attending a formal 3 course lunch and I was impressed most especially by the degree in which the chef's source from the local region! Down to the salad leaves! 🥗 As I appreciate the snapper is local, I think the chefs could do it better justice than grilling as the corners dry too much. I know a batter or crumb wouldn't look as fancy but it may keep the moisture in a bit better. Whilst I found the diners a little bit la-dee-da and pretentious that's not in control of the owners. This just might be because I am from interstate and not used to Victorians haha. It might also be because the Australian cuisine is 🇫🇷French inspired. Photos of dishes in order: 🐟 Yellowfin tuna eschabeche, olasgati anchovies, pickled quindilla and oxheart tomatoes 🍥 Savoury burnt basque cheesecake, heirloom carrots 🎏 Wood roasted snapper, estate NV sparkling beurre blanc, toasted almonds, charred broccolini 🥩 Flinders+Co "Vintage reserve" beef eye fillet, sauce au poirvre vert, charred shallots, brandy 🍮 Passionfruit cremeux, caramel sauce, mango sorbet, elderflower

What a stunning place! We had such a wonderful time exploring the beautiful gardens. Everything was absolutely immaculate — the grounds are so well maintained, spotless, and full of life. We loved walking through the gardens, admiring the incredible sculptures, and taking the time to read about each and every one of them. It was such a peaceful and inspiring experience. We also enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting. The sommelier was excellent — knowledgeable, engaging, and full of passion for the wines. We learned so much, and obviously had to buy a bottle to take home. It was a perfect experience from start to finish. Five out of five — brilliant in every way. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Came here for lunch and from the moment you step in you get great customer service and attentive throughout. Had king crab pasta which had a nice tasty sauce and Octopus for entree. Had the Snapper and Barramundi with brussel sprouts and anna pomme for sides. Chardonny and Pinot Noir complemented the meals well. Overall tasty and a wonderful experience followed by a complimentary diner to view the sculptures.

A Refined Experience at Pt. Leo Estate – Where Wine Meets Art and Elegance As a wine lover, visiting Pt. Leo Estate was nothing short of exceptional. Finally back down under after eight years, and this place is still worth a visit. I had some lovely oysters as starters, and then a beef with a fantastic side of mashed potatoes. The beef is being served on a hot stone, so that you can cook the meat to your own liking. The staff gave good instructions in how to fry, but forgot my sparkling water. I’ll be back next time we head down under.

When we were there it wasn't very busy. The staff were very attentive but not overly intrusive. The drinks were great if not a bit pricey. The food was fantastic. Recommend this place if you don't mind spoiling yourself.

July 2025: The menu has changed, and some of the reviews and photos of the food may not be relevant. I am writing this review as a Level 7 contributor. The location is definitely 👌, facing the beach with a nice view of sunset. I ordered the 200 gm Porterhouse steak on a hot stone, and it was an excellent decision. The steak was seared on both sides, and I cut it into slices to cook further on the hot stone. As the stone was super hot, care must be taken not to burn your skin. The steak tasted delicious with salt and thyme or dipped into the confit butter. The Spanish salad was ordinary and small in portion. If you are ordering this dish, it might be good to get another side. I had the warm beetroot salad with feta cheese. My friends ordered barramundi and chicken breast. However, both dishes were not served on a hot stone, contrary to what has been shown in photos from other reviews. There was pub music which I also enjoyed. Note that there's a 10% weekend surcharge and another surcharge for using a credit card. I am definitely coming back.

Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable choices on menu. Highly recommend the porterhouse stone grill and churros. Good value for money. Thursday night added bonus $8 pints fantastic value. Went to watch an old high school buddy singing. Was a great night's entertainment. Will definitely be going again.

We ordered the seafood platter share amongst a family of four (youngish kids) and it was plenty of food. The taste and flavours were delicious. However, the freshness of the blue swimmers were questionable. The scallops were divine, hot fries were super hot and fresh - something so little but served perfectly!

The food was superb. My husband and I both ordered and enjoyed the flathead tail tacos followed by the linguine marinara. The pasta was full of seafood and generous in size and service warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend a visit and will certainly be back. Thank you!

We frequent two buoys a few times each year directly after our exersise class. Always have a share menu with a glass of wine. Never disappointed. The small changes in the menu are welcomed even though we would be happy to order our reliable favourites. Staff are awesome as is the venue. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Ten Minutes by Tractor is a renowned estate in the Mornington Peninsula, offering a curated culinary experience and cool-climate wines. The award-winning restaurant celebrates seasonal local produce with innovative dishes like seared kangaroo fillet and tail. The estate boasts an underground cellar, private dining rooms, an architectural cellar door, an outdoor terrace, and a casual wine bar.
What can I say — absolutely perfect! We enjoyed the 5-course seasonal menu and every dish was beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced. The whole experience felt special from start to finish. A huge thank you to Holly and Jasmine who helped me plan my proposal — they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Marcus, our waiter, was flawless in helping pull it all off, keeping everything relaxed and on track without missing a beat. Incredible food, world-class service, and a memory we’ll treasure forever. Could not recommend Ten Minutes by Tractor more highly.

The food was great and the front of house service was excellent. However the kitchen completely failed in terms of delivering the dishes with acceptable pacing. We arrived at 1pm. We had previously explained in the booking reservation, by personal phone call and then upon arrival we had 1 person with a mild mussel allergy but all other seafood was absolutely fine. The first dish of 3 entrees arrived and all had been “adapted” to avoid seafood entirely. We explained but it’s just mussels. All were replaced. Bad start. For the next 3 and a half hours we were only served entrees. Our first of 2 mains (the duck) arrived at 430pm. It did state on the website the degustation lunch is a 4 hour experience but at 430pm my expectation is to be finishing dessert and thinking about a farewell coffee. We complained at this point and it was very well handled by front of house stuff who agreed it was not acceptable, apologised profusely and gave us some compensation. Full accountability taken on board. The rest of the meal was delivered more promptly and we were out before 6pm. Almost 5 hours is a long lunch! Agree with some comments here that the atmosphere and setting is probably a bit underdone for the level of sophistication they are striving for and we are paying for.

If I could give more stars I would. Booked the tasting menu as a surprise for my mom’s 60th, they called me the night before as I mentioned I wanted to pay. Payment was easy and they asked about the smaller details, such as my mom’s name etc. made her a birthday card and even a candle with a small free desert. Food and wine were amazing!! Service was great friendly and attentive without being over the top.

[2025-09-05] A special occasion called for a long lunch, and special it was. We picked the eight-course Élevage menu and the food was seriously good. The kitchen accommodated our time constraints, so we were seated for closer to 3.5 hours than the recommended 4. Others have critiqued the pacing and I was apprehensive going in, but it made sense on the day and may have felt rushed if condensed much further. The portion sizes are reasonable, so the five-course menu is a good option if you are short on time. Much appreciation to the staff for catering to dietaries and our schedule. I just wish we could have visited when there was a better view of the vineyard!

We recently celebrated a special family occasion at Ten Minutes by Tractor, and it exceeded every expectation. We booked the Hamilton Room, which was absolutely perfect for our group of 14 – intimate enough to feel special, yet spacious enough for everyone to enjoy themselves comfortably. We opted for the Terroir degustation menu, and I can honestly say the food was nothing short of incredible. Each dish was a masterpiece, with flavour combinations that were completely unexpected yet utterly delicious. The presentation was first class – every plate looked like a work of art. The service was impeccable throughout the entire evening. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and their wine recommendations were spot-on, elevating the entire dining experience to the next level. The pacing between courses was ideal – plenty of time to savour each dish and enjoy conversation, with generous portions that left everyone satisfied. From the initial booking process to the final farewell, every member of the Ten Minutes by Tractor team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and genuine care. The front-of-house staff, servers, and chefs all contributed to making this such a memorable occasion. If you’re looking for a venue for a special celebration or simply want to experience world-class dining in a beautiful setting, I cannot recommend Ten Minutes by Tractor highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for an amazing experience! Highly recommended for: Special occasions, family celebrations, wine lovers, fine dining enthusiasts

We’ve been here before and had some good experience but this time was really disappointing. This is supposed to be the highlight of our Mornington wine trip with some overseas visitors but end up dissatisfying our guests. The environment is more casual than the past, no white table cloth and some stain on the seats, not a fine dining atmosphere. Food was good as expected but then took 4 hours to finish a 3 course lunch, can’t imagine if we took up the 5 course set. Worst of all is the service, ill trained staff (for a fine restaurant), rude and made us fell not welcome. After sitting down we had to ask the waiter twice before the sommelier came to the table, he had no smile and, when asked, didn’t bother to explain the difference between Estate Pinot Noir vs Wallis. He was also rude with his approach as he cut between my guest and myself when we were discussing the wine list with his hand on the table and back to my guest, he didn’t come back to ask us to a second bottle after our glasses were empty. The waiter just recited the dishes very quickly and rushes away, again no attempt to smile or explain a bit more. We’re anxious to leave quickly as soon all is done. I seldom give poor review but given this is one of the top restaurant (suppose to be) there are high expectations from guests, want to provide some improvement suggestions.

My wife and I experienced the five course dining option as a Sunday lunch. The food was exceptionally well presented, really flavoursome, and exceeded our expectations. All of the wait staff were really attentive (without being intrusive) and very friendly - it was obvous from their demeanour they enjoyed their work. The environment is light-filled, inviting and comfortable, with spanning views of the surrounding countryside, through large windows - we found it added to the experience. We have added this restaurant to our list of favourites.

Spent the morning at Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm, it was such a great experience. The Belgian Waffle Pack and baked scones from the cafe were next level good. The strawberry smoothie was excellent, super fresh and full of real strawberry flavour. If you’re heading there for strawberry picking, I’d definitely recommend wearing boots, some of the paths can get a bit muddy. And make sure to grab a strawberry ice cream before you leave. it’s absolutely delicious. Such a nice place to spend a relaxed morning/afternoon, and everything just tastes better when it’s that fresh.

We absolutely loved our visit to Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm! Although we didn’t pick strawberries ourselves, we could see the beautiful, big, vibrant fruit that others had gathered — clearly the strawberries here are incredibly healthy and grown with so much care. What really impressed us was the café and shop. The food was delicious, the ice cream was amazing, and everything felt so fresh and thoughtfully made. The whole place has such a welcoming, charming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why so many people recommend it. A wonderful stop for families, food lovers, and anyone wanting a sweet, relaxing outing. Highly recommend! 🍓✨

Such a cute and fun activity to do! I went in early January, and they had all the berries ready for picking—strawberries and all the colorful varieties of berries. Every berry was super juicy and fresh, and honestly, some of the best strawberries I’ve ever had! A perfect spot for a wholesome day out, whether you’re with family, friends, or even solo. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and delicious experience!

Great experience for the kids. I loved that they had pre picked strawberries in boxes that you could also purchase if you wanted. Bonus if you don’t want to pick your own. Cafe available . Strawberry jams too. Prices okay. Overall great experience.

We came here early (just when they opened their doors) to avoid the hot temperature during the midday and it’s already bustling with people. The shop is filled with lots of strawberry product and some of their local produce. D and I went for the strawberry picking and the picking section was huge! After that we also went to the blueberry and blackberry area (which took us a bit of walking further inside) but it was all worthwhile. They’re looking so fresh and juicy looking. Think it took us about 1.5 hours in total to pick and also snacking a few at the same time. And last but not least, we also tried their ice cream while we were resting and it was super delicious. The strawberry ice cream flavour one is so yummy! x

T'Gallant Vineyard is a renowned wine brand located in the Mornington Peninsula. The winery is famous for its Juliet pinot noir and features a tranquil setting with a Tuscan-inspired restaurant. Visitors can enjoy vegan cheese and gluten-free options at the restaurant, making it an inclusive dining experience.
Website says "Rustic charm & Contemporary Elegance. Experience the flavours of Italy amidst the picturesque vineyards of Mornington Peninsula". Well that truly summed up our experience of lunch at T'Gallant. It looks like a bunch of farm sheds set along an expansive beautiful vineyard! Step inside and we were greeted by such lovely friendly staff. The dining area where we had lunch was well appointed, clean and definitely delivered on rustic charm. Then came out the most delicious spread of food. We had pear and walnut salad with the most yummy soft cheese. The porcetta with crackle, delicious. Salmon on a bed of amazing crushed roasted garlic potatoes, delectable. Desert, deconstructed fruit filled pav, looked and tasted beautiful, and the preserved lemon parfait, scrumptious. Both desserts had a great balance of sweet creaminess and tartness/tanginess from the fruit. The coffee was also excellent, smooth and flavoursome. The wood fired pizza we saw other people having also looked amazing. Last but definitely not least the wines we tried were light, fresh, fruity and delicious, a Juliet moscato and a pinot grigio, highly recommend both. Overall a very enjoyable and memorable food and wine experience, we would come back anytime.

Attended for Friday lunch. Nice setup with homely welcoming feel. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Nice place inside (a bit chilly outside but would be great outside on a warmer day), many people but not loud and can have a conversation over the table. Food was top notch - gnocchi fluffy and delicious. Pizza simple but flavoursome and was great also. Pretty good set deal for $50 for pizza / bowl of chips / wine but chose a few individual items. Wine shop is good with great service also, and took a few bottles home. Highly recommend.

Delicious Food, Stunning Views, and Wonderful Value...... The description on their website — “Rustic charm & contemporary elegance” — couldn’t be more accurate. I visited T’Gallant Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula for a weekday lunch and was absolutely delighted. Their weekday lunch deal is fantastic value: a large I chose Funghi pizza (with assorted seasonal mushrooms, pecorino, and mozzarella), a house side salad of frisée lettuce, shaved parmesan and preserved lemon dressing, plus chips with aioli — all accompanied by two glasses of wine, for just $50. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly paired with the wine. The friendly, welcoming staff made the experience even better, and the view over the rolling hills of grapevines was simply breathtaking. Watching the vines while sipping wine makes you truly appreciate how this humble plant creates something so smooth and elegant on the palate. T’Gallant is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy great food, and take in the beauty of the Mornington Peninsula. Highly recommend!

First visit here and it’s a beautiful setting. We managed to get a table outside looking over the vineyard, such a lovely setting. I’d like to give a big shout out to one of your great bar staff Joel. He recommended a wine for us which was just the type we wanted. Also ordered the mussels on his recommendation which didn’t disappoint. It was so nice that he took the time to come over to us once we had our food to check if all was ok and we were pleased with our choices. We watched him go to other tables while collecting glasses checking on other customers as well a very friendly chap. Well done Joel that’s what customer service is all about. This place truly offers a delightful experience in every aspect. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a wonderful dining option. One of the standout features for us was the wine selection, particularly the Pinot Noir, which surpassed our expectations with its rich flavors and complexity. Service was okay. I've been a handful of times and loved it, but today (3/8/25) it wasn't great! There was maybe 6 of us total, we ordered entrees and mains and everything came out together, which we didn't ask for. There was also no check in, and we had to ask where x2 extra food items where and x1 drink. Wine was glorious, as all ways! We will be back for sure!! But, would love if all staff knew what was going on and didn't look so lost!

Pros: Lovely ‘barn style’ environment in restaurant. Open fireplace near bar gave a cosy feel. Food was interesting- homemade bread with a side of olives tasty. Cons: Cost for half a barramundi was exorbitant. Spanish guitarist was exemplary in skill & variety of tunes/style BUT sadly music was so loud the people eating around him had to yell across the table to be heard. Waiters couldn’t hear your order, having to lean in for you to yell your choice of meal. Several patrons found the noise/music too loud & departed within minutes of arrival. Another couple had to move to the bar area, at the other end of establishment. Three members of our dining party could not tolerate the loud music and patrons yelling over it and had to leave. Asked waiter if music could be turned down- result was minimal change in volume. Conclusion: music amazing but poorly placed in middle of a dining area- ideally should have been in bar or no amplifier used at all so patrons would have conversed with ease. Whilst a wide choice of dishes, the pricing was consistently high from entree through to main. Eg: Kids meals were charged at main meal prices at a regular restaurant. *Restaurant not recommended for family gatherings, or for those who would like a relaxing conversation over a meal . *Best suited to those gathering for drinks in bar and open fireplace area listening to live music. ( turn your hearing aids off)

Had a great time at the wine tasting experience here and also at the restaurant. They were able to fit us in for the tasting before our lunch without a res so thank you for that! The prosciutto pizza was amazing, the carbonara not that much. Maybe skip the tiramisu because it was a bit bland. The service was impeccable and we had a great time!

Very friendly staff and the wine tasting session before the meal was excellent, very knowledgeable and excellent selection. The food was very nice.. pizzas were perfect.. highly recommended the pizzas.. The only downside to the whole experience was that there was a lack of airflow.. one small AC to do the eating area.. also we wanted to enjoy the outdoor area after lunch with a beer and a few wines but they wouldn't let us all due to their lack of staff.. so we continued on to another local brew house..other than that it was enjoyable.

I felt very privileged and lucky to have met Bob and have him take care of my wife and I during our tasting experience. One cannot live on past experience alone and living in the moment trying something exceptionally crafted, like the wines at Red Hill was special. Would love to come back and see what the restaurant has to offer. Steve & Karen the birthday girl

Booked in for the standard wine tasting experience, huge shoutout to Bob for making it extra special! The setting is super cute, and the late afternoon timing worked out perfectly since it wasn’t too busy. The food was decent, and my bottle of Dolcetto went down a treat.

We absolutely love visiting Red Hill Estate and have been making the trip down there for around 3–4 years now — and the main reason we keep coming back is Bob. He’s an absolute gem: warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines and the region. Every tasting with Bob feels like a masterclass mixed with great conversation, laughs, and the ultimate example of hospitality at its finest. The wines themselves are excellent — consistently balanced and beautifully expressive of the Mornington Peninsula. Their commercial range available through Dan Murphy’s and BWS is what first got us onto Red Hill Estate (especially the Pinot and Shiraz — unbeatable value around $14–15 a bottle on sale), but the cellar door releases are truly next level. That said, it’s the razzle dazzle of Bob that turns a good visit into a memorable one. He makes every guest feel welcome, always has a great recommendation up his sleeve, and you leave feeling like your bucket is full. It’s rare these days to find someone who elevates an experience like this. If I owned or ran a hospitality venue, Bob would be the first person I’d poach. Red Hill Estate is incredibly lucky to have him — and honestly, whatever they’re paying him, it should be double. Bob’s the reason we’ll keep making the trip down there, just to see him and enjoy another perfect day at the vineyard sampling great wines. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely exquisite. Arlene and Bob went completely above and beyond to make our day so special! Lunch was incredible - food was moreish and cozy while still feeling elevated. The arancini balls and octopus carpaccio were a highlight. Bob gave us the most informative wine tasting which just elevated the entire experience. We felt so special, thank you again for such a beautiful lunch to celebrate a birthday! We can’t wait to come back again soon.

Dromana Pier, originally built in 1862 and rebuilt in 1959, has a length of 185m. It offers a peaceful and pretty setting with clean and quiet beaches. Visitors can stroll along the beautiful white sand or the walking trail along the road, with plenty of picnic spots overlooking the ocean. Walking down the pier provides an experience of being above the ocean, especially during sunset.
Such a beautiful bayside spot to park your car and watch the sunset. We went during winter, and the sunset was around 5:30. The walk along the beach was so mesmerizing, with seagulls, people fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, and playing in the sand. There are lots of shops and a great playground for little ones. It’s absolutely stunning during sunset.
Deepa — Google review
The water is very clear, but do not jump into the water unless you climb down the stairs at the bridge, as jumping can be dangerous due to the rising or falling tides, which makes the water shallow in some areas. There are no sharks at this beach, but there are seagulls that come to ask for food and snacks. There is a sidewalk where you can take your dog and jog along the beach.
Lunga R — Google review
Very clean, nice water good for kids as well not too steep and deep, dog friendly beach

Clear, blue seawater which is I am amazed, ample parking space, wide shoreline beach, lots of bayside shops/restaurants. They do not allow fishing here for those folks who loves to catch fish. There is rinsing area just beside the box houses.

Peaceful and pretty. We loved spending our afternoon here after grabbing lunch nearby. The beach is clean and quiet. You can stroll along the beach on the beautiful white sand or on the walking trail along the road. There are plenty of picnic spots that overlook the ocean along the track. We also recommend taking a walk down the pier, you'll feel like you're walking above the ocean. The evenings sunset is lovely to watch here and it's calming after a long day.

I've posted photos post rain. In my opinion the stormwater drainage at this location is contaminating the water. I recommend not swimming 100 meters from each side. Dilution is not the solution to water pollution in our Port Phillip Bay.

The vibrant beach boxes add a splash of color to the picturesque scenery, complemented by breathtaking views of turquoise waters and distant cliffs. Whether you're lounging by the pool at nearby accommodations or enjoying a meal from local eateries, this beach offers something for everyone.
Mount Martha Beach is one of my absolute favourite spots on the Peninsula. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by how clean and soft the sand is—it genuinely feels like walking on powder. The beach is always well-kept, with no litter in sight, which makes it such a relaxing and peaceful place to spend the day. The view from the beach is just stunning. You get this perfect combination of turquoise water, cliffs in the distance, and colourful beach boxes that give the whole area a really unique charm. Whether you're lying back soaking in the sun, going for a swim, or just sitting on the sand watching the waves roll in, it’s hard not to feel completely at ease here. Crittenden Wine Centre, located in Mornington Peninsula, is a family-owned winery with over 35 years of experience. The estate is managed by the Crittenden family, who are deeply passionate about their craft. The founder, Garry, oversees the vineyard while his son Rollo handles wine production and daughter Zoe manages marketing. Their original family home has been transformed into a stylish wine centre and cellar door where visitors can enjoy an experimental and educational wine tasting experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A stunning new chapter for Crittenden Wines We had the pleasure of attending the opening night of the newly renovated restaurant and terrace, and it was exceptional in every way. The food was innovative yet beautifully inclusive of all palates, showcasing thoughtful flavour combinations without ever feeling fussy. The pastry chef is an absolute hidden gem — dessert was a true standout. Service was warm, genuine and professional, and it’s clear that the entire front-of-house and behind-the-scenes team take great pride in what they do. The new fit-out is refreshing and welcoming, flowing effortlessly to the outdoor terrace with views across the lake and vines. The alfresco gardens — designed and constructed by Foliage Landscaping in close collaboration with Rollo, Linda and Zoe — have created a space that feels generous, relaxed and deeply connected to the landscape. Layered planting, an open arbour and an expansive lawn make it a place for long lunches, sunshine and slow afternoons. I can’t wait to return with friends and family to enjoy the outdoor terrace while the kids play on the lawn and we unwind with great wine and food. A superb venue and an exciting new destination for the Peninsula. Huge congratulations to everyone involved.

Quite busy. Nice outlook in outdoor area with views over willows and lake. Quite a new outfit with fresh wait and kitchen staff. Ordered food to share for table. For starters the standouts were the squid, mushroom and tongue. The spanner crab was bland and the accompanying bun didn’t add to the dish. Oysters were fresh enough. Mains were ok, stand out was the swordfish dish - well cooked and very tasty. The sheer Wagyu was served quite rare which was nice but it was too chewy! The fish of the day dish was tasty and the pineapple and cucumber salad was surprisingly refreshing…nice combo. Desserts were only ok and somewhat basic, nothing really stood out. Service although friendly could have been improved - better knowledge of wine list and cleaning of table between courses. Will let the team settle before another visit!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a Stunning Spot! Absolutely loved this place! The winery is surrounded by the prettiest, lush gardens with a gorgeous lake — it’s just stunning everywhere you look. We dined on the Feed Me menu, which was absolutely delicious, and followed with an exquisite cheese plate to finish — the perfect ending to a long lunch with friends. The wine list is fantastic, and the service was truly five-star. Everyone was so friendly and made the experience feel really special. We went on a sunny day and it couldn’t have been more perfect — the views, the vibe, everything! One of the most impressive aspects of my visit was watching the staff handle a challenging situation with particularly difficult clients. Handpicked, vegan-friendly, and seriously smooth We’re talking seasonal dishes, local produce, and a menu that’s pure paddock-to-plate perfection Whether you’re here for a long lunch or a wine tasting at the Cellar Door — this spot is a whole vibe.

Had a lovely relaxed Sunday lunch with attentive staff. Great atmosphere for large groups, plenty of room to move around - much appreciated when our group had a wheelchair bound patron. We had a group of 10 and were given their set shared menu for $86pp. Portion sizes were more than adequate. Everything was flavoursome and well balanced. Scallops, mushy peas, chorizo and lemon worked really well and the pork cutlet dish was well cooked - nice and moist. Although was disappointed with the wine infused bread as it was dense and the olive oil didn’t add much to the flavour profile. However overall everything else was very enjoyable and would be happy to revisit.

A very beautiful winery, set in lush gardens With a rustic feel to the restaurant. We had the two course meal - main and desert - local snapper , pork belly then for desert I had the rosemary panna cotta with passion fruit and Adrienne had the chocolate tart. All really lovely dishes , excellent service but being such a large room, the noise was loud . Highly recommend .

Located in the secluded Arthurs Seat State Park on the Mornington Peninsula, OT Dam offers a tranquil and less-visited trail for hikers seeking solitude. The circuit walk takes you through tall Eucalypt forests to a hidden gully where a dam, constructed in 1934, is nestled amidst dense foliage and attracts various water bird species. While crossing roads and passing by attractions like the Arthurs Seat Eagle Chair Lift and Arthurs restaurant, hikers can enjoy stunning views.
Hidden Gem great walk from Arthur’s Seat Rd down to the dam with excellent large walking track which go’s right around the dam. Mostly downhill to the dam so a bit of walk backup the hills but not for advanced walkers. Very scenic bush land and flowers was actually surprised on how nice it was.

Really lovely dam or lake with a fascinating history. It’s a perfect spot to visit on a beautiful day. We came in from the Boundary Road end. The walk from there gets steep in a few spots but it’s a lot of fun to do. Great spot here. It’s well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

The walk from the car park was about an hour with 3 children in tow. It was a wet and cold day, but we enjoyed seeing the native heath, which was a mass of pink and white flowers in mid June. The dam is beautiful and the paths to it are well tended. Certainly worth taking this walk even with intermittent showers and mud. Make sure to take waterproof coats and boots in order to be comfortable. We had a thermos of hot chocolate and biscuits en route.
