A stunning mosque in the heart of Adana, it took 10 years from 1988-1998 to finish the construction of this serene magnificent complex. There’s a lot of greenery inside its premise which provides solace during the hot summers of this region.

If you are coming to the Mosque after seeing Taş köprü there is shortcut, an underground passage to the mosque but the passage stinks with urine and filth. You can make a bigger loop and pass through a traffic lights which are a bit far. But if you go through the underground passage the smell is terrible. Looks like an abandoned place. If you can bear the smell you can pass through it fast and reach the beautiful mosque that is worth visiting. I think municipal authorities should pay attention to this.

This is one of the greatest and beautiful mosque what I had ever seen! It's the second largest mosque in Turkey. There’re amazing views all around and exciting views inside.

Very beautiful mosque with awesome design and beautiful decorations. Very large interior and exterior surrounding yard. There is a huge park outside the mosque that has many activities for families and children. The mosque is also right on the river and a short walk from the old city.

This was my first visit to Adana. I explored the historical area around the clock tower, however the area near to this mosque was my favorite. It’s a big complex, the mosque it’s among the biggest most I’ve visited I. Türkiye. It’s supposed to be the biggest mosque between Istanbul and Saudi Arabia. The park around this mosque was my favorite place to walk in Adana.

There's not too much to do at the bridge, so I'd recommend next heading towards that mosque through the riverside park on the west bank there, as the nice part of town is in that direction. Though beware of aggressive beggars and peddlers at the mosque.

We went to Adana Archaeology Museum on last Saturday. Both the museum building and the works it contained were wonderful. Then we realized that the museum was located within a museum complex. Then we saw that there were 4-5 more museums around it. We visited them quickly. We were short of time. All of them had really wonderful arrangements and buildings. You pay the entrance fee once and you can visit all the museums. Only the staff showed little interest in the museum. The museum works need to be protected better. We congratulate the planners of these museums and the curators who organize the works.

Many may don't know but there's four (!) museums in total. Archaeology, history about the industrialization of Adana, history of modern art and architecture and the museum about the cotton industry. On the day I went to the museum the ticket included all four museums. I took me 3 hours for a speedy rushing but you can spend literally a whole day there. Really interesting and informative. A good collection from a few Neolithic artifacts to Roman sarcophagi. It's a fantastic journey through time with many treasures from the region. While it might be a bit of an expedition to reach on foot from the city center.

Well setup museum in renovated factory buildings. In the archaeology museum, there are very informative displays on Hittite and classical periods, and some fantastic mosaics, all with signage that has decent English translations. Very helpful especially before a trip to Karatepe the day following our visit to the museum! Don't skip the industry and agriculture museums, they're very helpful to understand the more recent history of Adana, particularly the importance of cotton and citrus farming.

It's a spacious building with lots of room to roam and linger. The staff are really lovely and helpful. Adana and the entire region are incredibly rich in culture and history, it's a joy to learn about it. I'll be coming back - I've only seen part of the vast museum complex now. If you are flying to Adana, take a cab to the clock tower and start your city center journey from here. I spent a couple of hours in this area until I had to take my bus to Mersin later in the afternoon. There are a lot of food options, souvenir shops, it’s really close to the old stone bridge. If you like walking it will take you around 15 minutes from here to visit Adana’s biggest mosque at the other side of the D-400. It’s supposed to be te biggest mosque between Istanbul and Saudi Arabia.

Built in 1882, the Historical Great Clock Tower, one of the oldest symbols of Adana, was built to notify the people of the region of the beginning of working hours and 5 times prayer times. As of 2024, the Historical Great Clock Tower, which is 142 years old, still preserves the splendor of the first day.

It was a very cute city with a miniature version of a clock tower. BüyükSaat basically meant a big watch in Turkish which actually made sense. But the old town around the tower was very cute with a lot of food options that were cheap and really good.

One of the houses where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk lived in Adana. It's a clean, well-preserved museum, but the interior smells unpleasant. Admission is free, so it's definitely worth a visit!

It's so cheap it's virtually free. Great to indulge in Turkish actors, movies, TV series and all the equipment and memorabilia that goes along with it. Very well done and really worth it. A great visit if you're in the area.

Visited in March 2022, the entrance fee was 2lira for student and 3lira for normal visitors. The place was small but consists full information about adana arts and awards. If u got nothing to do and have spare time.. do visit.

Sundays are mall days as other things are closed. This mall has the “Home Depot” store so that makes it attractive. One can also get leather things monogrammed… and the Ikea is here. Plus lots of other places like Rossman.

A very nice mall in Adana, spacious with lot of shops and restaurants for all budgets. It is better than many other big well known malls in Turkiye. It just lacks a front office to direct people or get questions, you get there and start walking without direction!

You can find here different shops for mostly clothes. Also a cinema and there is couple different food shops where you can eat ( no fine dining, mostly fastfood).

I had a great experience at this restaurant in Adana. The liver kebab is outstanding — tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. On this visit I also tried the lahmacun, and it was excellent as well. Thin, crisp, and very traditional in style, exactly how it should be. What makes this place special is the balance. They prepare the classic dishes with real skill, while also offering their own modern interpretations that feel fresh without losing the essence of Adana’s cuisine. Both sides of the menu are done with the same level of care and quality. The design of the restaurant isn’t traditional, but that actually gives it a different vibe. At the end of the day, it’s the food that matters most, and here it truly delivers. Definitely worth a stop if you want both authentic flavors and a modern touch.

Food may be good, but service is horrible and restaurant is extremely crowded and noisy with kids running around tables and jumping over chairs.. Also it is super overpriced for a piece of regular meat and a bread. Almost $50 for 2 dish!!! Crazy!! Not coming back again

Kifidis greets you with friendly staff and beyond exceptional service. They start you off with their complimentary meze’s along with fresh bread. Food came out quick, however we especially asked that they took their time on the food which is normal in Turkey. The food came out back to back which was a little disappointing, along with one of our party members getting their food after the rest of us had finished up. Other than that, Kifidis had plenty of parking, an outdoor seating area for smokers along with a large amount of other amenities. This is a very high candidate for one of the best Adana Kebabs you can find in the city and I absolutely recommend everyone to go give it a try. Thank you Kifidis for the flattering experience.

Small Catholic Church. Make sure you plan your visit since there aren’t that many openings hours. It happened that coincidentally I got there at 2pm when they were going to open again, if I got there an hour later I probably would of have been disappointed and just wouldn’t had visited. Overall it’s ok, it’s always interesting to visit a church in Türkiye.

It is near at central mosque and Hotel Hilton SA. Front side is seyhan river. It is big shopping mall. Famous brand wears are very cheaf. And it has many restaurant. Third stair is food court. MADO is on second stair.

Big fan of this place for the traditional Turkish Breakfast. Many of the wait staff speak English. Everything is fresh. Order the Eggs with Turkish sucuk (spicy sausage) and tomatoes, Domatesli with olives, fresh veggies, cheese honey and fresh hot bread. Turkish black tea is a must. Large outdoor dinning balcony - covered and indoor dinning area when it gets hot. Staff is very friendly and interactive.
