The Zeugma Mosaics Museum, located in the Sehitkamil district, is a sprawling museum that opened on September 9, 2011. It houses a vast collection of mosaic art and relics dating back to ancient Rome. The museum is renowned for its stunning mosaics recovered from the ancient city of Zeugma, including the famous Gypsy Girl mosaic.
Had a wonderful time visiting the museum. Walls and floors of intricate mosaic decorations from the Roman era. Some of the mosaics are very long and elaborate, some were restored and some are in process. The museum houses the Gypsy Girl mosaic which is compared to Mona Lisa. Takes about an hour or so to see the museum and discover it in full.

A fascinating museum. It's the largest museum of its kind in the world, and it houses some of the most important mosaics in the world. This isn't just any museum, it opens the doors to the ancient world, and in each mosaic, we delve into different histories. As a tourist, I paid 12 euros, but Turks only pay 100 TL. It was a fascinating experience that I highly recommend! It's incredible to see such ancient and well-preserved things up close, visiting this museum is a true journey through time.
Pedro D — Google review
Location: Near the silk road, 10-15 min by car from courthouse. Ticket: 100 ₺ / person for citizen, mandatory to have museum card; 12€/ person for foreigner which is extremely high! Pretty big and amazed with historical information with such archaeological finds.
Şebnem S — Google review
It is amazing museum lot of excellent pieces to see beautiful mosaics super rich culture and presenting very well nice museum a lot of information.
Hiuzun — Google review
Impressive museum. Quite expensive to visit but a spectacular collection of mosaics. It could do with more contextual information about the lives, economy etc if those who created them. And also some more detail about the recovery and restoration of the mosaics. But overall very much worth spending time here.
Mark — Google review
Wow. It’s mind boggling how they created such patterns using mosaic pieces. Truely awe inspiring. Sone of the mosaics are huge. Definitely one of the best museums in Turkey.
Tolga D — Google review
Absolutely amazing museum! Must visit and enjoy the beautiful mosaic. The Gipsy girl is so alive…
Ivanka M — Google review
An absolutely wonderful museum. Bring your Bluetooth earbuds; the audio tour is included in the entry price and really brings the exhibits to life. I think there were 45 or so stations! The museum is also beautifully laid out. The entrance fee was 12€ per person for foreigners and was well worth it

Castle
Historical landmark
Gaziantep Castle, originally established in the 2nd century CE, has a rich history that includes influences from the Hittites, Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. Today, it houses a military history museum. The city of Gaziantep is strategically located at the crossroads of ancient trade routes and is known for its significance in the birth of civilizations.
The castle jas an amazing view, the surrounding area is magnificent you can find a lot of antique shops, cafes and restaurants.
Haval S — Google review
If your in the city this attraction is well worth a visit. If you are really interested in the history, there is alot of text you can read while walking through the museum part of this site on your way up to the tip of the castle. Once you get on the top most of the area you can't really look out, but there's a viewing area were you can look and take photos. 30-60 min is enough at this attraction in my opinion. If I were to come back with friends I would probably take them to see it, but seeing it once is enough. Overall a nice attraction that's worth a visit.
Sander B — Google review
Not a handicap friendly place, neither are the employees, very rude. And you can either enter by wireless payment or you cant. The entrance fee is 20 tl. Wish theyd higher the fee and invest more in their employees.
Jana D — Google review
The castle /fortress is very well preserved. Inside there is a small museum for the battle for Gaziantep during the Turkish War of Independence. Amazing view to the city from the top.
Tsvetelina T — Google review
Nice castle and pretty big, encompasses a lot of old-fashioned shops and Mosques around, they are really eye catching and attractive, there are too a lot of restaurants, the area there has touristic character This castle does have a huge similarity with Aleppo citadel which is the biggest castle in the world
Muhammad Z — Google review
Great experience! Whether you're interested in history or not you must visit the castle! You'll fall for the 3d painting of the historical events! If you're a fan of over the top view of the city you'll love the scenery!
Shifshif S — Google review
Gaziantep Castle is a nice historical place that worth to visit while you are in Gaziantep. From the castle a beautiful view is opening because castle is in the high place, on the hill. Castle has played an important role in the protection of a city in the war during the Ottoman empire times. There is museum inside the castle with audio story and main political figures. İt's important place for Turkish people to remember and respect their history.
Svitlana P — Google review
One the main historical places of old town Gazinatep. Gaziantep Castle is a castle first built by the Hittite Empire as an observation point and later built into a main castle by the Roman Empire on top of a hill at the center of Gaziantep, Turkey, in 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. It underwent further expansion and renovation under Emperor Justinianus between 527 and 565 AD. The entrance fee is 10TL paying with bank card.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Zoo, established in 2001, is Turkey's largest zoo located in the Burc Forest. It houses an impressive collection of 7,000 animals from 300 species and offers safari tours and an aquarium. The zoo is renowned for its active involvement in Anatolian tiger conservation, successfully breeding and reintroducing these tigers into their natural habitat. Educational programs are also conducted to engage visitors and local communities in conservation efforts.
There is a huge effort, the shelters and care of the animals are very well organized. An almost perfect organization has been provided. I must say that the only shortcoming is that no brochures/maps are given at the entrance. Because first-time visitors cannot understand the location of the areas.
Haldun G — Google review
Very poor maintenance. Monkeys, birds and reptiles are tucked in small enclosed spaces. Monkey house and reptile house are not ventilated and smells horrible. Aquarium was so small but it had some piranhas which was the only interesting thing. The only funny thing i’ve encountered was the fighting bear figures placed under a dinosaur fossil replica lmao. The same installment had some dead animals in formaldehyde solution which were probably never been replaced with new solution. It was a nauseating experience overall. I decided to leave after seeing the neglected bird cage that no one seem to care about, didn’t even went to see other parts. Would not recommend.
Yusuf Ö — Google review
This place has alot of potential. Much of the indoor areas if not all are closed to the public. The animals are not properly cared for, especially the avian species. Much of the exotic bird species are exhibiting signs of extreme depression and solitude (feather plucking, picking at the roof, frustrated behavior). It is not healthy to keep so many large social birds in such an enclosed space with a lack of attention. This is extremely unfair to the birds. It appears there is a lack of a proper caretaker for these birds and they desperately need the right love. I hope the park brings this to their attention promptly.
Luke S — Google review
What a wonderful place, its very big that you need more than 4 hours to see everything, their are many kinds of animals with a description of each one on the outside of its cage. If you visited Gaziantep, you should come and visit this place. A great place to bring your kids to. And the entrance price is very low, about 1.5 dollars.
Jad H — Google review
Safe & clean, a good visit for families. One of he biggest zoo in the world with hundreds of animals available to see. Its huge in here so you better free off your whole afternoon or morning. It is super affordable too.
Eren K — Google review
The animal cages are large and the existing nets hinder the vision of some animals, but in general it is a very beautiful place and it is recommended to visit it and it is very interesting for children because of the large and safe space
Diaa — Google review

The Gaziantep Emine Göğüş Culinary Museum is a unique tribute to the rich culinary heritage of the region. It offers an exploration of traditional recipes, food habits, and utensils, providing a comprehensive look at the area's gastronomic delights. The museum's layout and informative panels guide visitors through Gaziantep's renowned dishes, including its famous baklava and savory dishes with an extra-spicy kick.
This private museum is so quaint. It is rather small but gives a good idea about Gaziantep cuisine abd kitchen.

Stumbled over this hotel on my way back from the castle decided to go in since I was already there. It's a small place, but still has alot of information. If you don't go here, you don't miss out on much, but it's worth a quick look if your nearby. For me 10-15 minutes was enough.
Sander B — Google review
Nicely displayed kitchen/ cooking utensils in a small sized museum. Nothing extremely exciting and entry coasts 5 tLs.

Local museum on behalf of one of famous families in Gaziantep. Gaziantep cuisine traditions and old kitchen tools are displayed.
Kadriye D — Google review
Small building with a many interesting stuffs about Gaziantep kitchen
Hicham A — Google review
It was too small though you can find out many information about Gaziantep dishes and kitchen stuff
Bita A — Google review
Interesting place to while away some time if you happen to visit Gaziantep, especially if you enjoy food. The museum is set in an interesting house not far from the castle. It is well designed and has static displays of the culinary history of the area. Most importantly, write ups are both in Turkish and English. Take the time to locate this museum the day you visit the castle - if you are interested in food.
Imran A — Google review
Say the name Gaziantep to a Turk, and they'll usually start talking about food. This city is known as one of the country's culinary capitals, so it's no surprise that there's a museum dedicated to its food. The layout and excellent information panels guide you through Gaziantep's most famed dishes, which of course include the sticky, syrupy delights of the town's baklava, but also plenty of savory dishes that have an extra-spicy kick compared to much of Turkish cuisine. You'll most likely walk out of the museum hungry, so study up the information panels while in the museum and then head out with your new knowledge to taste some local flavors for lunch.

In Gaziantep, Turkey, one of the must-visit spots is Tahmis Kahvesi. This historic coffee house dates back to the 17th century and exudes an old-world charm with its dark wood ceilings. Despite its solemn appearance, the ambiance is lively with the sounds of backgammon games and occasional visits from traditional Turku music players.
As an American visiting, the menu was easily translated by my phone. The baklava was sensational, I would recommend ordering many different types along with the ice cream. the pistachio coffee was absolutely exceptional. The history is amazing as well. Will absolutely return on my next trip!!
James S — Google review
I visited twice, and both times were fantastic. The first time, I had baklava with çay, which was delicious. On my second visit, I tried the Turkish coffee, which was rich and flavorful. Both experiences were great, and the atmosphere is authentic and welcoming!
Matteo Z — Google review
Drinkable tea with a nice atmosphere. Zahter is a thyme tea that is average. The baklava is priced per piece on the menu, but they won’t actually sell you just one. Very misleading and disappointing.
Cumhur — Google review
This historical coffee spot is an absolute gem nestled just a short walk from the vibrant Coppers Bazaar. It’s the perfect place to take a break from exploring the area and enjoy a truly authentic local experience. One of the highlights is their menengic coffee — made from roasted terebinth (wild pistachio) beans. This unique coffee was originally invented during the Yemen war period, when traditional coffee beans were in shortage, and it’s still enjoyed today for its rich, earthy taste and health benefits. A must-try for any coffee lover curious about regional flavors and historical roots. Alongside the coffee, you’ll find a small but tasty selection of local snacks and sweet treats, including traditional homemade baklava, which is freshly prepared and melts in your mouth. For those looking to relax even further, there’s also shisha available — a nice option if you want to wind down without indulging in too many calories. The place has a charming, old-world feel, is often busy (a sign of its popularity), and is warmly recommended by locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — ideal for resting your feet and soaking up the vibe of the city.
C C — Google review
There is a charming old house and across the street from it is an outdoor seating terrace. We totally missed the beautiful building and sat outside in cold. Make sure you find the right coffee house and not just a terrace. Coffee was not that great. Taking one start down because of very dirty restrooms.
Zu S — Google review
This is a 400 years old coffee shop. It is the oldest still active coffee shop. It is rebuilt, renovated several times because of fires or other reasons. They are popular with pistachio coffee which is called Menengic coffee. Prices are good for example tea is 20 TL and coffee is 50 TL which is less than 2 USD. They accept credit card and service is good.
Tom W — Google review
Nice ambience! Buzzing! Good service! Authentic coffee!
Mustafa — Google review
Highliy recommended! You can drink the best Turkish coffee ever and traditional "Menengiç" coffee " in Tahmis. It was 2 years I couldn't go there, and i finally drank Menengiç coffee after 2 years in tahmis..🥹 If you visit Gaziantep, you should try traditional turkish menengiç coffe . I highly recommend it. And I love it so much! I should buy and bring to the U.S. as well. Thanks a lot! Best regards...

Gaziantep Archeology Museum is a must-visit landmark offering a rich collection of ancient Roman mosaics, paleolithic artifacts, statues, and even a mammoth skeleton. Located near the castle in Gaziantep, this museum provides an extensive insight into the region's history. Visitors can explore well-translated and detailed exhibits for a nominal fee.
Another beautiful museum that is worth a visit during your travels. I took my time and explored it for a few hours. They turned on one wonderful video presentation for me, but the cinema and cafe were closed most likely due to Covid-19. It costs 10 Turkish Lira per person with well translated and detailed information about the seemingly endless exhibits. It really brought my childhood dreams of Mesopotamia into the light.

Fantastic museum to learn more about the amazing history of this region. The collection includes Palaeolithic artifacts; items from a Bronze Age necropolis; Hittite, Persian, Roman, Hellenistic, and Commagene artworks and the skeleton of a mammoth.

I loved the museum! The collection itself is really good, I hope they work more on the exhibition, displaying and informations they also accept ICOM card.
Golara T — Google review
A unique collection and an amazing exhibition. In comparison to other museums, Gaziantep Archaeology Museum is less visited, however I can say that it is one of the best museums in Antep. It is possible to see various artifacts from different eras and empires such as Neolithic, Calcolotich, Hittite, Roman, Hellenistic, Ottoman and such. Be ready to spare at least 2 hours if you want to visit this museum properly. At the beginning of the exhibition, there is also an elaborate section of the region's natural history, which gives you a detailed overall image. Be aware that the museum closes at 5 pm and the ticket office closes at 4.30 pm.

Pretty standard archeology museum, nothing too extraordinary or special. Still worth a visit if you're passing by.

Seen as a poor cousin to the Zeugma mosaic museum but packed with treasures from ancient history. Engravings, Roman statues, archaeological finds from Mt Nemrut and pre historical human burial sites, this friendly museum is more than worth a couple of hours of your time when visiting Gaziantep.

The 25 December Gaziantep Defense Heroism Panorama and Museum is a comprehensive tribute to the citizens of Antep who defended the city during Ataturk's War of Independence. The museum features dioramas, displays, and modern art installations that vividly depict the history of Gaziantep's occupation and liberation. Visitors can easily spend several hours exploring the museum, which offers English translations for most descriptions. The entrance fee is reasonable, and there is a small gift shop on-site.
Lots of interesting things to see here. Many artifacts and relics. I likes seeing the Ottoman documents written in Arabic script. Some good paintings, and a few other unrelated exhibits as well. I learned a lot of about Gaziantep and Turkish history here. Glad I took the time to read all the signs. There are good English translations.

The museum does an incredible job of honoring history and telling its story in a moving and compelling way. It’s a truly touching and informative tribute.

Very authentic place! Highly recommended to visit! You won’t leave without getting some new copper items for your kitchen. However, be mindful—there are both factory-made and handcrafted pieces, so prices and quality vary. Also, don’t forget to buy the famous Antep pepper! 🌶️

Koçak Baklava is a traditional Turkish dessert that offers a variety of flavors in a bright and airy setting with outdoor seating. Located in Gaziantep, known as Turkey's gastronomic capital, this baklava spot provides quick service and a well-sanitized environment. It's the perfect place to indulge in the renowned taste of Turkish baklava.
I had the opportunity to try baklava from other famous patisseries in Gaziantep, and I can say that Koçak Baklava is the best when it comes to classic baklava. The thinness and freshness of the pastry, the quality of the ingredients, and the balance of syrup and butter were all excellent. Moreover, the place truly lives up to the city’s reputation as a gastronomic hub, featuring a well-designed interior. I tried the classic baklava, square baklava, and tea all of which were outstanding. I wish them continued success!

Yummmm......so good. Nice, clean and cozy environment. Good baklava place to chill and relax. They have plenty of seating that is spread around. Plenty of parking, they have valet to take care of it.

Absolutely loved my experience at this pastry shop! It's spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with an incredible variety of pastries that are as delightful to look at as they are to taste. The selection here is impressive – from classic Bakhlava and Pistachios. Everything I tried was fresh, flaky, and packed with flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, making recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. This place is perfect for grabbing a treat or sitting down with tea and a pastry to savor the ambiance. Highly recommend!
Sina S — Google review
I can honestly say this is the best baklava I’ve ever had! I first got introduced to Koçak Baklava in 2021 when a family met with me in Istanbul and brought some along — I instantly fell in love with it. Since then, I’ve had it shipped to me in Istanbul and brought some home. This year, I finally visited GaziAntep to experience it firsthand. The difference was incredible — there's nothing like enjoying it fresh and warm right from the source. The flavor and texture are simply amazing. I loved it so much that I ordered more to be delivered to my hotel in Istanbul before heading back home. While it’s a bit on the pricier side, I don’t mind paying extra for such high-quality, delicious baklava. If you’re ever in GaziAntep, you absolutely should check out Koçak Baklava — it’s a sweet experience you won’t forget!
Ammar T — Google review
Baklavas, service and atmosphere were great. We ordered special square baklava and special pistachio baklava (özel şöbiyet baklava). They were so tender, light, full of flavor and melting in my mouth. Wait stuff was great. They specially designed inside the restaurant. We were not only eating the great food, at the same time, our eyes were appreciating the great design inside. They got their own parking lot and vale. I shouldn’t forget the tea. Usually I don’t like the Turkish tea due to its bitterness. They got really light Turkish tea that goes down smoothly. I don’t think so anyone can beat their concept, food and service. I highly recommend this place. It will be the restaurant I would definitely visit if I come back.

Katmerci Zekeriya Usta is a laid-back restaurant in Gaziantep, Turkey, known for its traditional Turkish pancakes. The charismatic owner welcomes visitors into the cramped kitchen space to watch the skilled preparation of the pancakes. The dough is meticulously stretched and topped with kaymak, sugar, and chopped pistachios before being folded and baked in a stone oven. The steaming hot pancakes are then served with an additional sprinkle of pistachio dust.
A family-owned spot specialized in katmer, offering just three varieties. Each one is freshly prepared in a stone oven over 60 years old. The owner is highly attentive, and the service is excellent. It’s a good place to stop by for breakfast.
Onur O — Google review
One of the first places I went to for traditional sweets in Turkey. It was so delicious that I finished a complete one by my self after already heavy meal 😅. The quality and the taste are amazing. The staff spoke English and Arabic with the native language which is rare for Gaziantep. The staff were very friendly and polite , the place is small but nice with small sitting on the front of the place. The price is very reasonable for the quality and the service. I highly recommend this place.
B.H. A — Google review
Highly overrated place because of its publicity. You can find a more delicious Katmerci in town half this price. Yes, it’s tasty, no offense but the price is so expensive. I’m sorry but 550 TL for Katmer is insane. I don’t think I would revisit. March 2025 price. The owner keeps saying he has the best Katmer in the country. This is just a relative opinion. I disagree with him. There are better ones for cheaper cost elsewhere in town. I don’t like “I’m the best” type of show. Let the customer decide, not you please. Overall score 3.8/5 for a Katmerci Overall
Ari Z — Google review
Delicious Come here hungry, portions are large. We split ours between 4 people. Time of day for this treat makes no difference - breakfast or late evening. Traditional shop with 4th generation baking, since 1800s. Watch as he expertly spreads the dough, sprinkles in the ingredients and folds the layers to create this delicious pastry. Chef was part of the Master Chef program! Katmer is thin layer of dough with thick cream, pistachios and butter baked in the oven. Don't miss this hidden gem!
Evren E — Google review
Unique. Katmer freshly made in front of your eyes. This family own business has many staff members that keep busy taking care of customers. Owner very friendly and proud of his business. A must-eat item - the freshness and combination of soft cheese, pistachios and thin dough is scrumptious

The establishment is recommended by locals and visitors alike for its flavorful dishes and efficient service.

Delicious! I was also probably the only non Turkish person in the restaurant but I was seated quickly at a big communal table. Luckily everyone was ordering the same thing (beyran) so I just pointed to it and said spicy is okay! Helpful guys at my table instructed how to garnish!

I personally didn’t enjoy Beyran, as I really dislike the strong smell and taste of meat and bones, it just wasn’t for me. I don’t think it would be fair to leave a low Google review based on my personal preferences. From an objective standpoint, I’d rate it 3 out of 10. The service and staff were good and friendly. Visited early in the morning so didn’t had to wait.

Very happy with the quality of food and portions and the service as well. I wanted to order more and the waiter told me I don't have to order another piece because it would be too much which I was happy about. Beyran, lahmacun and then one more soup were all good. The menu is on the table and prices are good. You can eat well for less than 200 trl (February 2024), but there's also more expensive items.

A trip to memory lane. Very nice place to spend time and to remember our childhood with simple toys. There's also cave under the building. Worth to visit

A great museum for young and old. An interesting walk round a charming museum that had some toys that I could remember from my early childhood in the 50s to even earlier toys that had been so expertly crafted out of the materials available at the time. A bonus for us was free age related entry that we thought was only offered to Turkish citizens. Entry is less than 40TL. We visited during Eid so it was busy but not uncomfortably so. Well worth a visit. There are stairs to climb to reach some of the exhibition rooms. There's also a cafe and more importantly toilets.

Gaziantep Hamam Müzesi is a reconstructed Ottoman-style bathhouse that offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of traditional Turkish hamams. The museum features faithfully recreated cold, tepid, and hot sections, as well as displays of hamam utensils and materials from the collection of Haluk Perk. Waxwork figures and models bring bathing customs to life, while exhibits showcase ancient bath bowls, soaps, fragrances, and other artifacts.
Ticket is 30 lira per person. Cash is NOT accepted. You can only pay by card. There is detailed information about Turkish bath and there is also some demonstration about how Turkish bath works. All information is written in both English and Turkish. The museum is not big; usually you can finish viewing everything within one hour. I would say it's a place worthy visiting given its cheap ticket price and detailed and interesting information.

I strongly recommend it to my fellow visitors from abroad to Gaziantep who have arrived here not just for tasting delicious kebaps and culinary culture. You can find explanations in English and the staff is,also very helpful. According to its foundation deed of trust, it was built in 1577 by Lala Mustafa Paşa, and is one of the finest examples of Ottoman hamam architecture and culture. After long years in operation as the "Paşa Hamam, Pasha Hammam," it was restored into a museum, bringing to life the hamam culture of Gaziantep.

As usual in Gaziantep, the food was very good and one dish in specific was extremely tasty with new taste signature, think they called it Ali Nazek Kebab. The freshly baked local bread was delicious. The service was excellent with English speaking staff. The price is high but you are going to pay for the experience and the quality of food and for the name since it is one of the most well known places in all of Gaziantep. One point is that if you are like me a big dude the portions are small.

Super efficient and friendly staff, very professional and helpful. The food was divine, especially the Ali Nazik Kebab, which is a chargrilled eggplants pureed with yoghurt and garlic to make a smoky-creamy-garlicky souce for the kebabs. Their baklava was so good, not too sweet. Price was reasonable given the quality. Would highly recommend.

We were concerned due to some recent reviews but we did not encounter any such thing. Though we don't know turkish, we had nonproblem ordering, we were seated immediately, staff helped us and recommended excellent kebabs for us, the food lived up to its reputation, salad was amazing with pomegranate dressing, bread was fresh from the oven and the kebabs!!! I had heard about İmam Çağdaş for years and always wanted to go. It turned out to be a great experience for me. Some locals told me it’s too expensive and didn’t recommend it, but I’m glad I went anyway. In general, places that are harder for locals to afford can offer a nice tasting experience because they focus more on visitors. This was the cleanest and most attentive restaurant I tried in Antep, which isn’t easy to find. Thanks to our server, Mr. Eyüp,he was very attentive. The Ali Nazik kebab made with grilled meat was delicious. The salad and the ezme were also very good. I love lahmacun, and this was the best I’ve had so far. The desserts were good, but there are a few spots in Antep that do them even better, so I wouldn’t especially recommend having dessert here.

Everywhere looks very colorful and beautiful, but the only problem is that the tops of all the spices and foods are open. At the same time, while the spice tastings are taking place, everyone remains in the hands-on zone. Tasting can be done with small plastic spoons etc. This place seems like it's 20-30 years behind. (Translated by Google) We bought a bedroom set and a table and chairs for the dining room from DİRENÇ trade. We were told that it would be delivered within a week, so we made our plans accordingly, but after 2 weeks, our orders arrived incomplete. The chairs that arrived were not the same as what we ordered. Moreover, the table was not the same as the product we saw in the catalogue, so we decided to keep the table. They created a new order to replace the chairs. And the dresser top came deformed. It took a few weeks for them to arrive. Additionally, our headboard was delivered after a total of 2 months because it was broken in the warehouse. We saw that the headboard was not there, we got angry and said we should return it, but we got the answer that you cannot return it because 15 days have passed. This was definitely not reported to us anyway. We later realized that there was a difference in tone between the bedside table headboard and the bed headboard that came later, but we were bored now and definitely didn't want to deal with it. There is already a problem with the general quality, there is deformation in many parts of the product. LED inside the cabinet does not work etc. In summary, they came 3 times in total for a bedroom and a dining room. Something was missing every time. The seller was very attentive until we received the product, but although he did not answer our calls in subsequent phone calls, we were able to reach the store by calling his work phone. The people working there also have serious style problems. We understood very clearly that they are only looking for the commission they will receive. In addition to their indifference to the customer, even though we called many times, they said they would ask and get back to us and never got back to us. Only the installers were good. Resistance Trade is a store that is very successful in keeping people impatient, but equally unsuccessful in terms of attention to work and business ethics.

YESEMEK GAZİANTEP MUTFAĞI is conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the fortress and market, making it easily accessible for visitors. Unlike other restaurants in the area that mainly offer kebab or donner, this restaurant stands out for its authentic and delicious local cuisine.
An excellent spot to enjoy authentic cuisine! I had the Beyran, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch to the experience. The restaurant itself has a genuine and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try traditional dishes in a welcoming setting!

Very good place for those wanting vegetarian dishes and small plates. I had the Beyran (lamb soup) which was excellent. Half portions available to try out several dishes. The only negative is that if you arrive too early, not all items on the menu are ready. Get there too late and you have an insane wait. The place is not very big.

This was the most unique food I ate in Turkey. The alaca çorba was very sour and fantastic, the garlic kebap also a unique taste, aubergine kebap not bad either. One waitress knows enough english and very kindly showed me that I need to smash the garlic, not eat it all lol. I eat there 3 times, however one time I chose the mix of dishes in small bowls and left unsatisfied, I wouldn’t eat as a full meal any of the samples.

The restaurant offers a great selection of traditional Antep cuisine. All the food tasted was of great and seemed very authentic, they go beyond the typical dishes served throughout the city and offer seriously special dishes. Considering that this is Gaziantep the vegetarian options are impressive and the spot is a must visit for anyone who wants to taste typical meatless dishes from the region. As a tourist visiting the dining experience equaled an insight to the local cuisine and was worth the price, which is higher than the go to kebab. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Gaziantep from abroad and/or vegetarians!

Yesemek Restaurant – The True Taste of Gaziantep If you’re searching for the real, unforgettable taste of Gaziantep cuisine, look no further than Yesemek Restaurant. From the very first bite, it’s clear this place honors the rich culinary heritage of the region with passion and authenticity. I had the chance to try their yuvalama, kuru patlıcan dolması, and kuru biber dolması—and I was truly impressed. The yuvalama was delicate and deeply flavorful, a dish that speaks of tradition and home cooking. The stuffed dried eggplant and peppers were both perfectly textured, bursting with that signature Antep spice blend that balances richness, heat, and depth. These are dishes that many try to make, but few get right—and Yesemek absolutely nailed them. One unique detail that stood out: the soup spoon they served was unexpectedly heavy and elegant, adding a surprising touch of quality to the meal. It made the experience feel more refined and thoughtful—even in the smallest things, they don’t compromise. The kebabs and other dishes looked amazing too—clearly grilled with expertise. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and proud of what they serve. You can tell this is a place built on generational flavors and genuine hospitality. Yesemek is not just a meal, it’s a journey into the heart of Gaziantep. Whether you’re new to Turkish cuisine or a lifelong lover of Antep flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit.

The food was served smaller portion to foreigners.. I ordered a garbanzo soup Mini bulgar balls were missing. The amount was served smaller than the usual and the price was incredibly high which I figured that out when I was paying because you are clueless, it is not informed in advance. It’s not worth it. You will get a better quality and more food somewhere else for that price… I asked for the bill they ask you to go to the register ..while she’s ringing up at the register you need to review the amount of each food on the screen basically you’re right there stuck to whatever price she has to ring up and you should agree and pay you cannot argue about it She’s asking you to view the receipt on the screen Instead of giving you a paper receipt. I have never seen anything like this In my life, no restaurants would do this once I paid the amount I asked for a receipt. She did not give me a detailed receipt for each plate that I ordered. She just gave me a lump sum credit card total that I paid no details at all. This is cheating to the customers I’m forcing you to pay the amount whatever it is .. I will never go there again. I don’t recommend anyone because it’s not worth it. Overpriced and does not taste good I have had better ones somewhere else. Please go to ORKIDE IT IS MUCH BETTER.. I asked for firik rice Oh my God the vegetables inside tasted old had a weird taste not fresh😞 I feel very sad when I’m cheated.. even though I spoke the language.

Sakıp Usta Paça Beyran Kebap is a popular restaurant in Gaziantep, known for its laborious and delicious local meat and rice dish called Beyran. The dish requires great skill and mastery as the meat and marrowbones are slow-cooked for 10-12 hours before being chopped into pieces. The saucer is then filled with boiled rice and chopped meat, oiled with tallow or without oil based on preference.
How do you make these delicious foods? Thank you for your efforts!

I came here to try their famous soup. As someone who isn’t from Turkey, I actually enjoyed it—it was my first time tasting this style. However, my Turkish family wasn’t impressed and rated it about 3 stars. The portion was surprisingly small for the price; it came to nearly $8 USD for a single small bowl, which felt higher than expected. Worth trying once for the experience, but keep the price and portion size in mind.

It doesn’t deserve Even 1 star, beef wasn’t cooked at all, I ordered Küşleme, blood was still on it and it seems you are eating a plastic, they will never give you a menu, so how I will know the prices! Yes this is the way how they will change you, depend who you are, more than that the prices is really crazy for a grilled beef, Beyran wasn’t good at all too much salt and rice was hard...at the cashier he was going charge me more than I ordered ( this is happening all the time in Turkey) , so make sure to ask for your receipt always... they don’t have the culture to treat tourist and guests, but they will just look for local customers, because they know you are coming here once, so just want you to pay. Worst part you can see at the pictures attached how they throw the foods

They deserve 10 stars! Highly reputable restaurant in Antep. I've been here over 20 times. Fantastic Beyran and Antep Paça. Beautiful meet and the spices are infused to perfection. They also serve dessert. Their Katmer is incredible, in our opinion its better than Zekeriye Usta and on a par with Metanet. Very light pastry stuffed with pistachios and kaymak (heavy cream). The service is impeccable, they are always very helpful and pleasant. We asked for milk with our desert and even though they didn't have it on the menu, the head waiter got some for us. Non-stop tea service of course. It's situated across from a lovely park, so you can take to the park for a nice walk to burn off the calories.

Dessert shop
Cumba Kunefe is a delightful cafe in Gaziantep, Turkey that offers an authentic and unforgettable experience. Their traditional kanafeh, topped with pistachios and optional ice cream, is renowned for its amazing taste. This popular dessert plate also includes Gazi Antep's famous pistachios and comes with roasted pistachio and tea on the side. The combination of flavors takes you to heavenly culinary heights.
Everything was perfect, the sitting and the food. We have had a nice cheese kunafa, but before that, they served us some cream with grips, and the tea was free.
Haval S — Google review
When you first arrive to the place you place your order, after that they bring (everyone) a plate of cream (kaymak) with oranges and bananas. When we arrived we ordered a big plate of künefe, they brought us the künefe without even bringing us the (customary) cream and oranges with bananas plate which is supposed to be part of the order of what they call: (ikram) I ate one slice of künefe but I got angry and told them to bring me a plate of cream (kaymak) after I told them, they finally brought us 2 plates, because we were 5 people. EVERYONE in the restaurant had a plate of this, but not us because we speak a different language. After we finished eating, it is customary and out of hospitality they bring you tea, we waited for the guy to come take the empty plates, then waited for 5 minutes and no one brought us tea, (EVERYONE on ALL tables had tea after eating) The worst experience ever.. And the künefe was mediocre.. It was a 6/10 and the service was 4/10. 10tl for a 0.33L small bottle of water haha.. Okay.
Mr F — Google review
It’s okay, not perfect at all. Maybe because they have a lot of following and cloud. The kadayif is delicious but I know better places. The service is very rushing and part of a show (when ordering Turkish coffee).

Great Kunefe.. absolutely amazing.. What so special about it is the sweetness level.. just perfect.. the best Kunefe for me so far in whole Turkey.. Service needs to be paid more attention.. prices are ok.. Definitely recommended..
Jasmin D — Google review
After a few recommendations we arrived at Cumba Kunefe and it is as delicious as it sounds. Perfect amount of ingredients without sugar or being extremely sweet. Served with a sort of cream and milk that I found to be must balanced with the general taste of the food. I definitely recommend! Service was friendly and clean. 💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Andreia D — Google review
This kunefe shop is one of the best in Turkey, very authentic with amazing taste that you will remember forever. The kunefe plate comes with ice cream or without, and it has ton of Gazi Antep famous pistachio on top of it and along side they serve you with roasted pistachio and tea, the combination of all take you to heaven. You must try to believe.

good künefe. and great vibe. only thing is that they don't have smaller portions for one person. price to quality and quantity ratio is still great. I had small künefe burger which was enough for 3 people and it was 78TL.

SankoPark Mall is a contemporary shopping mall that boasts a diverse range of branded stores and a food court offering both popular fast-food options and casual sit-down restaurants. This impressive mall also houses a gym on its top floor, complete with a swimming pool and spa facilities. It is known for its international appeal, hosting various foreign stores and creating an environment where rival football clubs Fenerbahce, Besiktas, and Galatasaray can coexist side by side.
Going there is fantastic experience, when I visited Gazi Antep, I almost go to this mall everyday. There is a huge variety of branded shops where you can find unbelievable deals and offers. But what makes me happy the most is the food court upstairs, restaurants there are exceptional, cleaniness and quality is their main objective. I absolutely tried them all even McDonald's and all are excellent.

Nice place to spend time for shopping. A lot of brands, the food is good. There is a place for children. You can do some fun things like bowling and table tennis. Also there is a gym
Mustafa L — Google review
SankoPark Mall is one of my favorite spots in Gaziantep. What makes it unique is its location—right in the middle of a beautiful garden area. It’s perfect for spending some relaxing time outdoors before or after shopping. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, which adds a lot to the experience. Inside, the mall has a great selection of stores, dining options, and cafés. One of the highlights for me is the gym—it’s modern, well-equipped, and a nice bonus to have in a shopping center. Whether you're looking to shop, eat, or just take a walk in the garden, SankoPark has something for everyone.
Faris R — Google review
Sanko Park is an enclosed shopping mall located in Gaziantep, Turkey. The largest enclosed mall in the region, construction of the US$160 million project began in 2007, and the centre opened in the spring of 2009. Because of its location in southeastern Turkey, it draws a significant number of shoppers from nearby Syria. The mall is approximately a two-hour drive from Aleppo, the largest city in northern Syria. With the elimination of visa requirements for travel between Turkey and Syria in September 2009, the center saw the number of Syrian shoppers rise from approximately 3,000 per month to 50,000 by early 2010.

Forum Gaziantep is one of the best shopping malls in the city. It has a great mix of local and international brands, so there’s always something for everyone. The mall is clean, well-maintained, and has a spacious layout that makes it easy to move around, even on busy days. It makes the mall a great place for families to spend time together. There are also plenty of food options, from quick snacks to proper meals, and even spots to grab a coffee and relax. Overall, it's a well-rounded shopping and leisure experience. Definitely a go-to place if you're in Gaziantep.

The Alaybey Mosque holds great significance in Gaziantep as it is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Its central location attracts a multitude of worshippers, and the surrounding area, known as "carsi" in Turkish, offers various amenities. This ancient mosque boasts sturdy walls and provides essential facilities such as complimentary toilets and an ablution area known as "sedirvan." The neighborhood surrounding the mosque caters to diverse needs, making it a preferred choice for many.
The location makes for an impressive atmosphere, contrasting the business of the street with the peacefulness of the courtyard and the prayer hall within. The architecture is stunning and the community very welcoming. Easily one of the top mosques in Gaziantep to visit if you come by.

It is located at the junction of Hamdi Kutlar Street and Kutlar Street. It was built by Kadı Kemalettin. The date 759 Hijri (1358 Gregorian) is written on the carved inscription on the pulpit of the mosque. However, it is believed that it was built before this date. One of the features of the mosque is that the pulpit has slides from the bottom and can be moved in and out of a specially made section on the wall. To the right of the courtyard entrance, there is a honeycomb-free minaret with a single balcony and a polygonal body. In addition, the fine woodwork inside the Boyacı Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Gaziantep, is remarkable. It is a large and beautiful mosque that bears in its aspects the originality of the past. It is located in the center of Turkish Gaziantep, the Ala al-Dawla Mosque. It is located near the Gaziantep Castle and the restaurant (in front of Chaghdash) in the city center. (Translated by Google) The distinguished mosque located in the city center of Gaziantep, right next to Imam Çağdaş. It impresses you greatly with its historical texture. It is called Ali Dola Mosque among the people. It was built in the 1500s in the name of Alaüddevle, the last lord of the Dulkadiroğlu principality. The altar is made triangular. I recommend you to visit this place during your visit to the center. It is recommended that you do not arrive by car. While you're in that area, you can eat at the surrounding restaurants, visit the Coppersmiths' Bazaar and the Elmacı Market, which is the Spice Bazaar just below. Since it was built by Alaüddevle Bozkurt Bey, the last ruler of the Dulkadiroğulları Principality, the mosque is named after him. The building, which bears the influence of Ottoman architecture, is one of the important works of the Dulkadiroğulları period. The architectural structure of the mosque attracts attention with its cut stone workmanship. The mosque, which was built with a single dome, also has a courtyard with a fountain. Traces of Ottoman period calligraphy can be seen in its interior decorations. Next to the mosque is the tomb of Alaüddevle Bozkurt Bey. Considering that Alaüddevle, who had the mosque built, died in 1515, it is understood that it was built before this date. The architect of the mosque was Armenek and the foreman was Kirkor. The system of a small columned window inside an arch and a round window above it, seen in Christian art, is also applied here. The fact that the mihrab is enclosed in a triangular pediment is another feature taken from churches. In addition, the large-sized moldings around the side wall windows and the mihrab decorations inside contain baroque features. Eşter Pide ve Falafel is a delightful gem for vegetarians and vegans in Turkey, where options can be limited. This charming eatery offers an array of fresh and delicious dishes, including outstanding falafel, creamy hummus, and flavorful foul (fava beans) drizzled with tahini and olive oil. The mixed salad is equally refreshing, making it a perfect complement to your meal.
Fresh, delicious food! We were craving good vegetarian food in this land of kebabs and köfte, so we searched for a falafel restaurant. Eşter popped up on Google Maps and we’re so happy it did. Mixed salad was fresh and delicious. Foul (fava beans) were outstanding, laced with lots of tahina and olive oil. The falafel was crisp and delicious with cumin, and served with some lovely pickled cabbage (or something similar) and some spice on top -- these add a lovely kick when you fold the falafel into a sandwich with some salad and tahina. Staff are friendly -- always a plus. Despite the humble setting on a busy road, we had a lovely meal and a good time. We'll be back soon! EDIT: We came back for another great lunch. We were earlier today so I saw a wide selection of pastries, mostly savory, I think. I had a delicious roll filled with white cheese. So fresh! We had the foul again, and it was wonderful. Love their falafel too.

Fantastic little restaurant especially if you are vegetarian or vegan, as there aren't many options for us in this part of Turkey. I had some falafel, some ful, with some bread and salad on the side, plus a small drink. The price was incredible at only 45 Lira. The people working there are very nice and help you in any way they can and also speak English. Would love to come back again

Nestled on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Euphrates River, Rumkale Fortress is an awe-inspiring remnant of Byzantine architecture that beckons history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. This ancient stronghold not only boasts a rich historical narrative but also offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding river valley. Accessible via a short boat ride, visitors can explore various viewing platforms that provide stunning vistas of this majestic fortress.
A bit difficult to get to but totally worth it. I wish swimming was allowed. Even in the middle of October, it was totally swimmable. There is also glass floor viewing area. We went up onto the second floor of the small restaurant, and were rewarded with even better views.

Rumkale is located in the Yavuzeli district of Gaziantep. It was built on steep cliffs at the confluence of the Merzimen Stream with the Firat River. Today, because it is surrounded on three sides by a reservoir, it looks like a peninsula. The castle, which has been called by various names throughout history, such as Shitamrat, Kala Romayta, Khromkley, Ranculat, Kalat el Rum, Kalat el Muslimin and Kale-i Zerrin (Golden Fortress) from ancient times to the present day, has two bodies. forms. The first body was created by creating a natural wall by cutting the rock vertically in the east, north and west. The second body was built as a fortress wall of solid limestone blocks on top of this natural wall. There are seven rectangular bastions on the northern and eastern walls and numerous loopholes in the north. The rocky continuation of the castle in the south was cut out and turned into a moat in the 12th century; thus, the direct connection of the castle with the land was interrupted.

Rumkale is an old Byzantine fortress with a fantastic history surrounding it. There is great signage to get to it. Once you arrive to the area there are numerous viewing platforms to catch a glimpse of the magnificent fortress. There is a bit of parking by the castle itself but also a large parking lot about a 10 minute walk away. IMPORTANT: To get to the castle itself, you have to take a short boat ride. We heard that prices were ~15 TL per person but the fortress itself was closed for renovations. There are some places with limited selections of food, snacks, and souvenirs. They also offer boat tours around the euphrates for ~100 TL per person. You can also take a boat ride to the nearby zeugma archeological site. The castle is incredibly beautiful and definitely worth a visit!

Rumkale (lit. 'Roman Castle') is a ruined fortress on the Euphrates, located in the province of Gaziantep and 50 km west of Şanlıurfa. Although Rumkale is sometimes linked with places mentioned in ancient sources, the foundations of the structure can be traced back to the Byzantine rule the earliest, when the fortress was the seat of a Syriac Orthodox bishopric. Rumkale evolved into a town when its Armenian civilian population grew in the 11th century. The fortress slipped away from the Byzantine rule when Philaretos Brachamios (r. 1071–1087), a Byzantine general of Armenian origin, usurped control of the region amidst the political turmoil caused by the Battle of Manzikert in 1071. Rumkale then came under Kogh Vasil, whose adoptive son and successor Vasil Dgha was tortured by Baldwin II of Edessa and forced to relinquish his lands, including Rumkale, to the Crusader states in 1116. Sometime between 1148 and 1150, Catholicos Grigor III Pahlavuni purchased the fortress making it the headquarters of the Armenian Apostolic Church, although it continued to house Syriac Orthodox and Catholic representatives. The town later became part of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia, and by 1268, became isolated from the rest of the Cilician domains.

Yes this place is very nice but the security was going to literally beat us The reason for this is my cousins They are students in Turkey They showed their card My older cousin couldn't find it He paid and passed Then she showed his student card and accepted it but she argued with me and literally fought with me Even though I showed my student document even students in Germany have student cards and said I should have one too she didn't let me in Then my cousin had a student card and let me in with the money she paid The inside is very nice, INCREDIBLE Then I wrote this to the municipality and told the women there what happened so they told the security The security walked over us at the exit and I went out and continued to argue with my mother and aunt People like that leave a bad impression

Zeugma Antik Kenti, initially visited in 2018 and revisited in July 2022, has undergone remarkable improvements. The site is truly worth exploring, especially if one has already been to the nearby Mosaic museum in Gaziantep. Resembling a small Pompeii, it features well-preserved houses that can be easily observed from the walkway, showcasing mosaics, rooms, and Roman water systems. Additionally, visitors often find themselves alone while exploring.
The site is quite out of the way, but if you have time it’s worth swinging by. You currently only have access to a group of houses with great mosaics but they are in the process of excavating more. Beautiful place to visit, it makes a lot of sense to come here after visiting the museum in Gaziantep.
Lucas M — Google review
Zeugma was founded soon after 300 BC as the city of Seleucia by Seleucus I Nicator, a Diadochus (successor) to Alexander the Great and Macedonian founder of the Seleucid Kingdom, on the site where he had the first bridge over the Euphrates built. In 64 BC, the Roman Republic gained control of the city. Zeugma was of great importance to the Roman Empire as it was located at a strategically important place. Up to 70,000 people lived in the city, and it became a center for the military and commerce for the ancient Romans. In 253 AD, it was destroyed by the Sassanids, but was later rebuilt. In late antiquity, Zeugma was a diocese of the early Roman church, but the place seems to have been abandoned in the 7th century due to Sassanid Persian and then Arab raids by the Umayyad Caliphate. Arabs lived there temporarily in the Middle Ages. By the 17th century the Ottoman Turkish village of Belkis was built near the ruins. Zeugma has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Site tentative list since 2012. Extant archaeological remains at the site include "the Hellenistic Agora, the Roman Agora, two sanctuaries, the stadium, the theatre, two bathhouses, the Roman legionary base, administrative structures of the Roman legion, the majority of the residential quarters, Hellenistic and Roman city walls, and the East, South and West necropoles."

Zeugma is an incredible archeological site and is absolutely worth a visit. When we went, we didnt have to purchase tickets, though this may have been due to the pandemic. The site itself is a stunning piece of history and is divided into a few sections. There is the main parking/cafe area, and then a 10 minute walk to the site itself. At the site there is a mostly excavated ancient city in a building of sorts and then next to it there is an ongoing excavation of another section. Depending on what time you go, you can even see them excavating it live which is super interesting.
Sinbad S — Google review
I visited here first in 2018 but revisited in July 2022. The amount of effort in improving the site has been spectacular. Absolutely worth visiting, particularly if you have been to the Mosaic museum in nearby Gaziantep. It is a mini Pompeii with well preserved houses you can easily peek into from the walkway. Mosaics, rooms and the efficiency water systems of the Romans are visible. And chances are you will be alone. Explorer tip. Wander off beyond the museum to the small beach where a tremendous amount of pottery and marble has been washed ashore from the sunken villas.

Most of the city is underwater ever since they built the dam and the only bits you can really see are a set of terraced houses located on the hillside under a nice cool modern building. The best artifacts have been taken to the Zeugma Mosaics Museum in Gaziantep (well worth a visit!) although a few are preserved in situ. I do wonder whether they will ever offer underwater snorkeling options. It seems a perfect place for it.

Despite any potential disappointment, the Yesemek Open Air Museum is a must-see due to its uniqueness. A visit should not take more than 30 minutes. Inside, there is an information board containing valuable details. There are no fees or shops, only a small café at the entrance where visitors can enjoy tea. These remarkable relics were discovered and recorded by UNESCO a few years ago.
A very unique and special place. Really amazing. A must for archeology fans

Yesemek was a Hittite sculpture workshop from the 14th century BC, later reused in the 9th century under Aramean rule. Covering 100,000 m², it produced basalt statues like sphinxes, lions, and gods. The artworks reflect Hittite, Aramean, and Assyrian influences. Fine details were usually completed at the final destination. The method of transporting the large stone figures remains unknown.

You may be disappointed with the place, but because of its uniqueness it is a must see. You will not need more than 30 minutes to view it. There is a lot of useful information on the information board inside the site. There is no entrance fee or shop, only a small cafe at the entrance to the site where you can drink a cup of tea.

If you avoid the highway on the road from Gaziantep to Hatay, you can pass through this ancient query fron Hittie civilization. It might not worth just coming the whole way to see it though unless you are a historian! The visit does not make you any viser about Hittie civilization since like many other sites in Turkey background information is missing on the site. The guy serving at the coffee is ready to extort you pretending he is a guard! The view is nice from the hill.

Mysterious and fascinating place. A little out of the way and close to the Syrian border but its been safe and peaceful both times that I've visited. If you're a bronze age history fan then this is definitely worth popping in to see. As time goes on lichen is growing on the basalt and it's becoming harder to make out the various carvings. At Yesemek statues were prepared but not quite completed. Rough stones would be quarried, shaped, then the rough form would be traced into the stone. Later, once the stones were installed into their final location the finer details would be carved. The majority of the items found at Yesemek were lion, sphinx, and mountain-god statues. Apart from these there were a handful of monumental lions weighing nearly 15 tons. Beyond these there’s also a bear-man figure and an incomplete scene depicting a chariot riding over a man. The workshop was founded by the Hittite king Suppiluliluma around 1350 BC. It was abandoned 100 years later with the collapse of the Hittite Empire, then used again by the neo-Hittite Kingdom of Sam’al (Zincirli). The Yesemek Statue Workshop was actually discovered in the late 1800’s when excavations were underway at the nearby site of Zincirli

Loved this museum. It's an outdoor space with hittite period basalt statues that's are showcased in multiple museums and also hattusa. The space is small but great to visit. Ali the caretaker is great and managed to explain the details to us even tho we have no Turkish language. Ali is also involved in the excavations, which is absolutely epic. Ps: if you did want a quick stop for lunch you can head to Reşat Ustanin Yeri in the nearby town Islahiye. You can park round the corner and walk up. There is also an amazing bakery two doors from this restaurant.
