Good shopping centre just needs the footfall to get the town alive again. Local needs locals and visitors to get Middlesbrough back to a town centre that was once full of people.

Boarded up stores. Most of the major stores have closed down. The Mall areas have so few people around. I am surprised the extended costa even survives, especially at their prices. Poor signage to Albert Rd exit. The car park charges are reasonable for less than 2 hours, and again poorly signposted & the car park is like a building site. Overall the cleveland centre is not welcoming or inviting & seems to have lost it's soul. I fear for the inhabitants, retailers & the workers of Middlesbrough

The only shop I go to is the HMV. Beware of beggars asking for money. One skinny young woman asked me for 90p, which seems strange, why not a pound. Needless to say, I felt sorry for her, that she looked as if she needed a good meal.

Not what it used to be . I used to love going there for shopping but now main shops have closed, I'd I didn't have to go there for my bank I don't think I would bother.

Conveniently located across the road from the bus station on the edge of Middlesbrough's town centre. A wide variety of shops, from Primark to independents,.as well as food outlets (Burger King is by the entrance).

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hill Street Shopping Centre is a brilliant place for a day out. There’s a great mix of shops including Greggs, Pandora, Primark, New Look and plenty more to browse through. It’s perfect whether you’re looking for family shopping, updating your wardrobe, or just grabbing a bite to eat while you’re there. The atmosphere is welcoming, and everything you need is in one convenient spot. A really enjoyable shopping experience! Highly recommended by Nina and Lettie.

Highly recommended for clothes and shoes shopping. It's just next to the Middlesbrough central bus station. Has got its own car park also. There are a number of cafes and restaurants inside the mall to keep you energized throughout the day. There are some events held by various shops and brands to promote their products. Such events are a boon for the public to gain offers and discounts. Kids often get free goodies at such events so should be kept an eye on. Everything well looked after such as clean floors and toilets. Must visit once if you happen to be in Middlesbrough.

Standard shopping centre with friendly staff. Places to buy food, clothes, accessories, shoes, beauty items, prescription glasses, and a cheeky sweet treat.

Great experience shopping at Primark. It's quite cheaper compared to other popular online market places that are being touted as cheap. People should rather visit the stores in their neighbourhood, really.

Last couple of weeks before M&S shuts for good in Middlesbrough

I used this car park this morning. Paid £3 for parking until 6pm which I thought was incredible. On my way out, seen a poster advertising this special offer and thought not surprised, it’s an empty car park. Half an hour later 3 attempts were made for me to authorise payments of £136 on my banking app. This has never happened to me before. One payment was going to JDsports. Definitely wasn’t me as I was in the middle of an appointment at an aesthetics clinic. Please be vigilant, I have a feeling the pay machine is cloned. Tried calling the car park on several occasions to alert them but to no availability. Makes me wonder why no one uses the car park

Aggressive foul mouthed security harassing innocent people. Bald security violently pushed an old man causing him to bang his head. Avoid.

Angry here after a lovely break in the northeast this dying cancer patient from Cheshire got two lovely photos of my car and a big fine for being seventeen minutes over my allocated time didn't know the rules couldn't find a disability parking space or a lift I know they will be there but to save time and didn't know where we were went up stairs my wife has a bad back so not ideal went to do business in banks etc ended up in the wh smiths Post office two staff on a queue as long as your arm then one member went to lunch that's why we're late won't park there again thought my trip now was spoiled thanks Middlesbrough parking

Very busy, lots of queues, weather great. Good choice of drinks and food. Live music was good, but every venue pumped out loud music which all sorted of morphed together to just noise. Seemed enough security staff, I felt safe. Lots of children also and quite a few dogs, though I thought it was a bit hot for the dogs. Would go again

The Orange Pip market Baker Street Middlesbrough was exciting and crazy. Music and dancing. Ethnic foods were tasty. A great afternoon. I had a Chicken Tikka wrap followed by a waffle. Delicious

All the stalls were interesting and customer service excellent everywhere though there were long lines which is expected really with all the awesome food on the go. The pubs open up their windows on Baker Street to serve drinks and play live music. Live bands now play on a small stage and some of the acts were brilliantly unique. All round fantastic atmosphere.

Good day out in central Middlesbrough. Different food stalls, eclectic styles, food to eat at the Pip and stalls selling foods you can take home. Bars do get full, but lots in the Market and on the edges, entertainment good and a lovely atmosphere, definitely worth a visit,though it does get busy. Good for couples, families and groups.

We thought Baker Street would have real ale in their pubs, none so very disappointed, food was ok but long queues, not many craft stalls

Truly an amazing market!.. I was amazed with the food and drink variety and the environment they created, way better then other year food festivals. You can find so many options for everybody, great products and live acts an music. You must visit.

Store is hard to navigate with narrow aisles and rails full of clothing. Only 2 of 7 checkouts manned - large queues. Prices are typical, and bargains have to be sought out. It always feels like a posh jumble sale, but if you enjoy raking out a bargain, this is for you. There is also Homesense upstairs for home goods.

I recommend TK Maxx to anyone looking for bags, this includes, handbags or traveling bags. They offer a wide and quality selection. I recently purchased a traveling and hands bags at an affordable yet quality bags. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because of how they display their clothes. One has to work extremely hard to find items amongst loads and loads of clothing items. I managed to find nice dresses but it took me hours flipping through dresses to get what I liked.

Well laid out store, pleased with well priced purchases. A huge thank you to the member of staff who found my bracelet in the store and kept it safe for me until I collected it.

What can I say? It’s a TK Maxx, with all the usual chaos that one might expect. It has a good range of clothes and assorted other items organised in the typical chaotic TK Maxx style, if you can bring yourself to do it then worth a browse as sometimes you can find a genuine bargain here. Mostly I just enjoy Homesense upstairs for a random homeware item or some bizarre foodstuff from a far flung corner of the globe 🌍

Had gone with my wife for her shopping but couldn’t resist a Simon carter business coat, steal deal. Paid by Cr card & forgot to use my voucher but went the next day & the staff was so helpful, they really had to do a lot of juggling but helped me to redeem my voucher. Thanks to the team at the till & special thanks to the manager.

Great place to shop with some amazing bargains available - managed to get a full prom suit for less than £50 for my son. Staff friendly.

For reference I am a person of colour, the staff acted politely to the white customers who were in front of us but she (blond, young) was completely rude to my family. Shocking.

No one on the till upstairs, a lady handing out parcels instead of concentrating on customers in the queue. Escalator broken to come down. Shortage of staff in the summer holidays what a,shambles

Good store, friendly staff. Visited today , furniture assistant, very busy, so after waiting for 20minutes, went over to the assistant and another customer, said sorry to interrupt but can you come over to me and my wife when you've finished with this customer. It was after another 15minutes, the assistant went off with the first customer to I believe was the till. 10 minutes later we saw the assistant with another customer, I was livid, went to the till and asked for the manager, the person behind the till was not much use, explained again I wanted to complain to the manager. Suddenly the assistant came over to the till, said she was free, I told her the last time we saw her she was with another customer, oh I was only arranging for another member of staff to assist, I said why didn't you do that for us, or why didn't you explain what you were doing. We went to order 2 X Sofa's, came away annoyed and frustrated.

Home stuff generally a rip off, very average stuff for silly prices. Huge store but absolutely no staff to be found upstairs, including no one on the tills. Had to queue in womens wear. One lady on the tills. Should be far better customer service. Bought a few things from the discount ex-display shelves. Worth a look, far more understandable prices
