Creperie

Takeout Restaurant
Nestled near the picturesque Port du Croisic, Crêperie Le Bot is a charming little eatery that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 1936. This beloved establishment is renowned for its gigantic, mouthwatering galettes and crêpes, all made right before your eyes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients from nearby producers.
Probably the best crêpe I have tried so far. Their homemade special cheese is unbelivible mixed with crepes. Our host told us to go there, they often drive all the way from La Baule to enjoy their crepe. I HIGHLY recommend the "super complete" traditional crêpe, and add the caramelized onion option, with their homemade cheese. Bacon/saussaget the taste of the meat might be a bit too strong and cover the taste of other ingredients. For dessert, I took the peer/frangipane sweet crêpe , that was also excellent. Friendly and smiling owner/staff, we were 5 persons. Booking recommended.

Excellent Gallettes and Crepes with friendly and Speedy service. Charming location and you may even watch the cook prepare your meal without leaving your table. I'd definitely recommend eating here.
Johannes H — Google review
Best galette I have ever had. The cheese of the house is amazing and the cider poached sausage is fantastic. Very small restaurant and it is also very popular, so you will have to wait in line. It is well worth the wait though! If you are in la Croisic make sure you stop by!
Aaron M — Google review
Amazing place, basically live cooking which is really cool! Lots of different options and all are quite tasty. Can get a little pricey but it is totally worth it! Good cider :)
Nienke — Google review
If I could give 6 stars, I would. Always a must when we visit the presqu'île. Delicious balance between "gastro" and traditional crepes and galletes. Expert tip is to always go for the fromage maison.
George P — Google review
Delicious galettes! Nice crêpes although I wish they were cooked on both sides to be a bit more crunchy.

Nestled in the charming town of Le Croisic, Crêperie Tante Germaine is a delightful haven for those craving both savory and sweet galettes. With its inviting decor that beautifully combines traditional wooden elements and checkered tablecloths, this crêperie offers an authentic dining experience. On a bustling mid-August day, we found ourselves drawn to its warm atmosphere before visiting the nearby Ocearium.
It was not only delicious food perfect galettes then crêpes. The four of us loved our choices. The cider was also delicious. We were the last one to leave the place and we weren't rushed away. I would highly recommend it .
Muriel M — Google review
We were in Le Croisic on a feverishly busy mid-August day and decided to have lunch before the Ocearium as that was heaving. We got into Tante Germaine at just after 12 and it was full inside in about 10 minutes - tables then sprang up across the road. There was a lull just after 1pm as the first sitting cleared, and then more people appeared. Worth the little extra walk and deserving of its 5* ratings: we realised that we'd tried a lot of mediocre crêpes before now and this truly was the pinnacle of our northern France crêperie experience. We were a family of 4 and had 4 savoury crêpes followed by 4 sweet ones. (Not a cheap lunch out, I should note.) We'll keep trying more crêperies on future visits to France, because we do love them, but I'm not expecting many to top this one. Très bien!
Julie B — Google review
The legendary creperie got totally redone. Much nicer then before. Great food and don't forget to visit the small boutique next door with many local products

My friends recommended this place highly and now I can see why. Cosy place with great atmosphere, very pleasant service but most of all - amazing pancakes! Too bad one has only one stomach...

We ordered big set of seafood. It was very fresh and absolutely tasty! Wine which waiter advised was also nice. Atmosphere is very cozy it’s was on of the most wonderful dinner in France, thank you!
Nellie G — Google review
We went at the recommendation of the owner of our Gite accommodations. From the moment we called for reservations the staff was friendly and welcoming. They were happy to show us what seafood was fresh and available. Everything we ordered from appetizers to dessert was excellent. We had an opportunity to meet the young chef And he was able to share his passion and excitement for the food that he was preparing. We have been visiting France for two weeks and this meal was the best we had. The ingredients, the preparation and the presentation were all absolutely wonderful. His excitement, his ingenuity and the freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite. We will come back as often as we can.

Excellent and quality dining across from the fishmongers on the port. Delicious daily specials and a variety of dishes to suit every taste. They even have vegetarian options. Casual dining with very friendly service. Highly recommend

As a couple, we had a lovely evening. Great food. Friendly, polite and efficient staff. Nice atmosphere near the old port. Plenty of seafood to choose from with kid-friendly dishes for a good time with the whole family.
Vincent V — Google review
We visited for lunch and we're greeted by welcoming staff who provided very good service throughout the lunch. We opted to go for the set menu of 34€ each and a pichet of house rose and water. The food was excellent and well presented and it was served by an excellent waitress We really couldn't fault the whole experience well done to the staff. We will visit again when we are holidaying in the area again.
Paul S — Google review
A bit disappointed by this restaurant that had good ratings on Google. Chose a menu, the gratinated cheese with "faisselle" was good but too heavy for me, then I didn't like the St Jacques shells' preparation so much. On a positive note, "cafe gourmand" was very good and personnel super nice.
Sacha V — Google review
The seafood plate for 1 was huge, very well presented and prepared perfectly. My grilled sardines were also excellent. Washed down with plenty of free water and a pitcher of rosé. Superb! We will be returning before the end of our holiday... ☺

Great place for fresh seafood! I had the turbot and the pavlova, wow great food. So nice to have dinner while glancing out over the fish market and the sea beyond. Service is great too, very attentive and effective. 5 stats!

Fantastic seafood platter with very high quality oysters. I no longer feel confident to eat British seafood, particularly oysters, due to the high volumes of faeces in the seawater around the UK. It was brilliant to have such delicious seafood close to its source! Excellent service too.

The Crêperie du Port is a highly accommodating restaurant that serves food all day, setting it apart from most French eateries. The menu offers reasonably priced and delicious options. The owners are proficient in English, making communication easy for non-French speakers. The restaurant boasts pleasant decor and beautiful views, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. With clean facilities and a friendly staff, the Crêperie du Port ensures a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Visited with French family. They had the usual range of galettes, but with some specials based on Thai cuisine. The creamy satay, peppered galettes and grilled chicken were divine.
Richard W — Google review
Great food, grumpy waitress. Told us we can only order drinks after we've chosen our main courses. Then when we ordered extra food later on she again us off 'next time make sure you order all your food on one go'. 😕 So sorry for ordering extra food in your restaurant! Food was very good though..!
James J — Google review
Such a lovely restaurant which catered to our needs as we were sick of crepes!! The owner and his wife were so friendly. All the food is homemade. Definitely go here and support their small business 👍
Jan M — Google review
Very very disappointed with the owner's attitude. While looking at the menu, my friends and I were approached by the owner who sold his products by saying that he works with local products and that all his dishes are "homemade". Once we decided to enter the restaurant, my friend asked him, innocently, if we could eat outside because it was sunny. He almost screamed at us : NO. He told us with a cold voice and quite agressively that he doesn't have enough employees to serve outside. He didn't even seat us down, he just showed us the table where he wanted us to sit from afar... Being very disappointed with this service, I stormed out because I didn't know that was the service tourists get in Le Croisic. I therefore have a bitter image of this lovely looking town. Thank you Crêperie du Port for giving us this lovely image of your town. 👍🏼

I ate here with my family last week, we were two adults with three kids ages 6, 4, and 1. The staff were incredibly patient and kind to us, for example they did their best to get the kids' food out ASAP. The food was also really good, the moules frites in particular were outstanding.

Started well. Nice waiters. One starter was clearly overcooked but did not say anything. Could easily see and hear stress amongst staff. Main arrived before we could finish starters but still main dishes were given to us. Main were too cooked. Chef did not like feedback and was shouting across the restaurant we should leave. Manager argued with us on our inability to know what is cooked and not cooked before asking us to leave. Very aggressive and disrespectful… Maybe because French was not our first language? Maybe because it was a stressful evening? Who knows… but shocking!

The actual restaraunt is very relaxed and looks almost like a cafè. Do not be fooled! It presents some of the best seafood I have ever had; why not five stars then? The service is quite rushed and the outdoor tables are plastic ones, something you would find at a pub. The decor does not fit the quality of food. Deffinatly worth a visit!

We were served by a waitress and a waiter who were both very pleasant. The waitress took our order but did not tell us the omelette came with salad so we ordered a separate salad which we did not need. The omelette was served and I waited and waited but mine did not arrive. I asked where my order was and I was told it had not been ordered by the waitress but by this time my wife had eaten her dinner and I did not want to wait even longer for my meal to be cooked. The bill came to 26 Euros and I said to the waiter I wanted a reduction so he fetched the lady boss who did not speak much English so the waiter interpreted. The lady boss was very rude and did not apologise and just offered a reduction in the cost of a small beer. I argued our case but she would not give way so unfortunately we will never return.

Maison La Goulue, an exquisite chocolate artisan shop, offers a delightful assortment of chocolates. Despite some overly negative reviews that are excessively critical, the quality of their chocolates surpasses mediocrity and is definitely above average. Although not comparable to luxurious Bonnat chocolates, Maison La Goulue's creations deserve better than a mere 1-star rating. The staff may come across as initially reserved but are ultimately friendly and welcoming. Both children and adults find pleasure in their delectable treats.

The chocolates are good. The reviews that give a 1-star are truly unnecessarily harsh. I love quality chocolates and have trained in culinary school. The chocolate is not Bonnat quality but it’s certainly above average and doesn’t deserve a 1-star rating. The lady that welcomed us seemed shy but was friendly. Our kids enjoyed it and so did we. What was my dear husband's face when the "kind" saleswoman told him the price of the unfortunate 450g of chocolate: 41 euros. The pill was hard to swallow since it was not followed by a thank you, a smile, or any kind words. Total feeling of having been ripped off, the caramels and chocolates are good, but nothing more, nothing exceptional that would justify this exorbitant price for our taste. In short, disappointment, disappointment.

(Translated by Google) Tourist trap!!! Beautiful presentation but prohibitive prices displayed in very small quantities: €90 per kilo!!! for very, very average chocolate. And there is no need to look for a scale to assess the weight and therefore the price of your purchase, there is only one: At the checkout… To flee!!! A fuir !!!
