Spent a good hour looking around, rushed it to be honest. Had somewhere else to go. Need a good 2 to 3 hours to truly explore everything. Will definitely be back within the next few weeks. Loads of bargains to be had. Some very strange objects in there too.

Stopped for lunch and found this place fascinating. The mix of classic garden figures alongside a stylish first floor restaurant really works well. The food was delicious and freshly made with local ingredients at very good prices. The service and friendliness of the staff was first class. Definitely a place to stop off at.

Fantastic place to visit if you like antiques, retro items and oddities. Staff are friendly and helpful, but only to be found on occasion. Couldn't find toilets on site though, considering it's such a big building and many of us need to use facilities multiple times a day...

Escape Bike Shop offers mountain bike rentals and organized trail rides for those who want to explore the outdoors using their own power. The shop is known for its great service, knowledgeable staff, and non-judgmental approach towards customers with varying levels of expertise. Customers appreciate the personalized advice, competitive pricing, and after-sales support provided by Escape Bike Shop. Additionally, the shop's online ordering process is highly praised for its efficiency and helpfulness.
I wouldn’t usually leave a review, however after the level of service I received from Ian recently I felt compelled to do so! I purchased a bike from Ian in early December, the whole process in getting the bike ready for me to collect was seamless and no issues there at all. After around a week or so of having the bike, it developed an odd electrical issue (no fault at all of the bike shop). Timing on the issue wasn’t great as the shop was shutting for Christmas and Tom (mechanic) was off for a few weeks in January. Even though I told Ian I was able to wait until Tom was back, Ian took time to fit my bike in and carry out the repairs himself with guidance from the manufacturer in the Netherlands – and then also offered to drop my bike back off afterwards for me given I live 2 hours away! The service here is exceptional and Ian and the team care about not only the experience you receive but also getting you back on the road again when things unfortunately do go wrong. Can’t recommend them enough and I’d certainly consider them again in the future, solely based off their after-sales support if nothing else. Ian is incredibly knowledgeable on the industry and will actually take the time to talk to you and guide you properly and impartially. Massive thank you to all to the team there for a very pleasant experience.
Jonathan B — Google review
Fantastic service from Ian and Tom. Couldn't do enough for me when purchasing a new bike from them. Got it ready as quickly as possible with no pressure during any of the process. Well worth stopping in or buying online to help support this great shop.
Oliver K — Google review
Popped in for some shorts, came out with a Specialized ebike! We were so impressed with Ian's knowledge and that nothing was too much trouble when quizzing him about e-bikes. My husband is one-handed, Ian and Tom adapted the bike professionally and did a fab job, we are so happy with the bike and the service that they provided. Awesome!
Jude L — Google review
Bought a full suspension Marin from Ian and Tom at Escape about 6 months ago. Bought as a frame and fork combo they put together a fantastic build package with mega attention to detail. I have since returned for a service and fork upgrade and once again was highly impressed -even plotting a ride in the local area for us whilst the bike was being done.
Dan E — Google review
Great service from Ian And Tom. Helped me tones in purchasing my first new bike and with all my questions, very knowledgeable, and also didn't judge me like some other bike shops for not knowing much (also throwing in a dropper post for free ;) ). Gave me a great recommendation for my bike and also for local cafes to have breakfast whilst they serviced it. I'm sure I will be visiting again for all my bike needs XD.
Scotty C — Google review
Done an online order with Cyclescheme. Ian rang me about half an hour after putting it through - let me know everything about the bike, suggestions etc. Honestly such a great process and I can easily highly recommend Escape Bike Shop to anyone. Now I've got my lovely new bike and accessories!

Excellent service and advice. Ian couldn’t have been more helpful. Beautiful location. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Fabulous bike shop, not being the stereotypical sized adult for bike riding their service and friendliness was excellent. Cannot fault their knowledge, product range and service. Nothing is too much trouble and definitely not overpriced. Five stars from my husband and I.

"Growing With Grace" (GwG) is a remarkable wholesale supplier that has truly transformed the way I source my produce. Delivering 15-20 boxes every other week to Preston, their exceptional customer service stands out. They meticulously double-check orders and respond promptly to any inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience. Their transparency in admitting mistakes and commitment to resolving issues sets them apart from other suppliers.
I visited their open-day as part of the Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival in Oct 24 with my wife & 2 daughters. They provided an amazing lunch, free tour and a taste of their fantastic freshly pressed apple juice. The staff were so friendly & extremely knowledgeable with such a passion for their produce. Signed up immediately to their mixed veg/fruit box and loved every delivery which comes all the way to Ilkley. Keep up the great work and if you are thinking of signing up, please do if you haven't already you won't be disappointed!

A great organic shop, well worth the visit for the products and we are coming from Manchester which tells you how highly I rate this place.

Good, fresh organic vegetables & fruit and whole-food cupboard items delivered free of charge if you spend over £15. Own food grown veganically 👍 Good, cheerful customer phone service.
A R — Google review
I am a wholesale customer of GwG. I get between 15-20 boxes delivered to Preston every other week. I worked with someone else before, but then had to switch. I'm so glad I thought of GwG. These guys are brilliant, especially customer service side: they always double check my orders to get them right, they respond the same day to any queries, they're first to admit if they made a mistake, and would go above and beyond to rectify any issues. I have other suppliers to compare to, and it's like heaven and earth. Also highly ethical, sustainable and inclusive cooperative veg box scheme. What not to like!? ~ Back to Eden, Preston

Scrapbooking store
Gingerbugs & Co in Ingleton is a delightful craft shop offering a wide range of handmade treasures, perfect for those who appreciate the Yorkshire Dales and cozy, feel-good products. The shop features beautiful watercolor paintings and various high-quality crafts, making it a hidden gem for unique gifts. Visitors can find an assortment of locally made items and receive helpful advice from the friendly owner while exploring the charming collection of art and oddments.
Me and my boyfriend came here twice, we didn't buy a lot of things the first time because we were going to be walking around for a while but we did look around and plan on what we were going to buy when we came back. As I was looking I saw some beautiful watercolor paintings for sale and planned on getting one when we came back. The artist had a ton of beautiful artwork scattered throughout the shop and we both loved it. We went back a few days later and I picked up a ton of artwork, my boyfriend was talking to the woman at the desk downstairs and noticed that what she was drawing looked familiar. It turns out she was the artist that drew the beautiful watercolors and the painting I was looking at buying was from her sketchbook! I was very happy to meet her and I loved talking to her and finding out what her inspiration was when she made all of her paintings, she even showed me many more beautiful paintings she made directly from her sketchbook! It was such an amazing experience and she was so sweet, this is a wonderful little store with so many amazing crafts. I'm so happy that I was able to bring home so much amazing artwork with me. Also if you do end up stopping by be sure to look out for the cat rocks, they are so cute and one of a kind.

A hidden gem! A cute little craft shop with a good variety of bits and bobs. The shop keeper was very polite and gave us some good advice when we bought the beeswax food wraps as we hadn't used them before. I would recommend a visit if you are passing by!
Max M — Google review
Stunning crafts What a glorious outlet I have discovered in Gingerbugs of Ingleton, with lots of handmade gems to suit a wide range of tastes, for those who love the Yorkshire Dales and feel-good products that bring the great outdoors into their homes. It is so inline with the Danish principle of "hygge" which values the sense of well being through cosiness and warmth, simple rusticity, and lots more that subscribes to mindfulness
Margaret D — Google review
I popped in for a card and found so much more! A marvellous cornucopia of high quality crafted crafts, art and oddments. If you want to give a present no-one else will have, this is the place.
