We had an incredibly delightful dining experience at the restaurant! The Pad Thai and Pad Hong Kong were bursting with authentic flavors and the perfect balance of spices. The King's Prawn starter was a succulent delight that left me wanting more. And the Chardonnay white wine paired beautifully with the dishes, enhancing the overall meal. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, making it a truly memorable culinary journey. I can't wait to return for another scrumptious feast!

Nice restaurant. Needs a bit of interior make over / love. However, Thai food was really really good. Surprised. Penang curry, noodles - spicy on request. Would recommend!

Pretty fabulous meal. Frightenly cold inside when we arrived and the pricing may be slightly ambitious for the area. Easily the best Thai curry I've ever had- worth it for that alone. Mixed starters are too small for the price. The food itself is not expensive to make so be careful with portions. Fabulous meal. Will TOTALLY return. Highly recommend.

Argyle on tour! Wow, we found this "mix and match" restaurant after the match. Huge inside....three storeys but not all in use. Excellent service from Emily....nothing too much trouble even though it was busy and there was only three girls serving....and she was doing front of house too !!! We had Thai and my Kiwi Partner had New Zealand mussels for the first time since she left NZ. Delicious she said! We had a great time....good banter with other guests and ending up with Baileys and Jamiesons.. two rounds ....good ambiance and nicely decorated. Probably never come back to Morecambe....ever, so thanks to the Restaurant and especially Emily for making it a night to remember!!

This is an amazing restaurant. We have been here a few times and everything is excelllent. The only problem was the treck up 2 flights of stairs to the toilet.

My partner ordered off lancaster eats, like he usually does, expecting to get delivery. He got a phone call to say it was ready for collection 30 mins after the food was cooked. When questioned the lady on the phone said it was collection only over the weekend and that this was stated on lancaster eats app, which it was not when the order was placed. He was told when collecting the kitchen was dealing with the order, making it sound like they were cooking it fresh due to it being so long before being informed it was ready, and that it was clearly an un-noticed error on the site. He was also told whilst waiting, other customers had had the same problem with the app and had to collect also. When he brought the food back, it had clearly been microwaved. Steak was dry and overcooked, sweet potatoe fries were black and the stir fry was mush. The whole lot was inedible and went in the bin. Will not be ordering from them again!

The best Thai food in the area. The staff were lovely and really looked after us. Thanks for a great night. We'll be back again.

Disgusting, All the food tasted like nothing, massive chunks in the mash which was flavourless, the smallest amount of meat that also tasted like nothing, "chef" had to go through 7 plates before he could find a clean one. Clearly all the "chefs" here and incompetent, you'll get better food at a primary school dinner. Plus service is invisible took 40 minutes after our meal to be able to pay

Jacks our waitress was great she was so attentive and made our experience amazing. The ginger chef was lovely and let me try all three meats and even complimented my sisters nails. However, we are not happy with management as servers don’t get tips as they do rightfully should. This is embarrassing for such a large establishment. They should feel shameful and sort this out immediately!

Came in with my family today and got looked after by the lovely Jacks. We come here often and we always get put in their section. Always fabulous service and a lovely atmosphere created. Definitely come here for good food, a good environment and family time over a hearty meal.

Carvery was absolutely amazing, quieter than usual but the atmosphere was incredible, the man on the host point, i think his name was Claudeo, was super helpful and overall all over the place, helping his co workers when needed. Food was amazing, meat was fresh and juicy, veg was adequate, roast potatoes were out of this world! Big up the chefs! Our waitress was extremely lovely as well! will definitely return!

Great summer holiday offer of children eating for £1. We came today when it was very hot working conditions but we were still greeted by very friendly members of staff called Reece at the bar and another called Michael on the entrance desk. Despite the heat they were friendly, polite and very accommodating. They both deserve a special mention. Many thanks for a lovely visit.

Standard carvery early evening on a Saturday so more than likely been extremely busy throughout the day. Some areas of the carvery need improvement some items cold & very dryed up. Visually the meat looks fantastic not so much on the veg side some items cold & very dryed up & the gravy and condmant section needed a clean & refill would I say that it's massively flavoursome not really all pretty much tastes the same in all honesty. Despite that pleasant staff calm & quiet environment. Quick service. Just an honest review based on a genuine visit.

Visited today with my 3 children as a before back to school treat. We were served by Alex, lovely girl, bubbly and welcoming. Had a sense of humour too which is always nice. To be fair all the staff on shift were nice, my 2 year old daughter struggled to hold peas on her fork so I mentioned finding her a spoon, low and behold another server was greeting my with said spoon as she'd overheard. Didn't want to be held responsible for her peeing on the floor 🤣 Carver was pleasant too, found it funny teasing the kids with only a small price of meat. They did get a full portion in the end of course.

Good food, great ambience. Portion sizes are slightly less comparatively but no compromise on taste and hospitality. Overall, a good place to eat.

Babar is a wonderful restaurant. The staff are always polite and so respectful. The food is amazing and I would love to be able to recreate them at home. It is always clean and has a lovely atmosphere.

Came to this restaurant to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary,from the second we arrived the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and ingredients.The food was piping hot when it arrived.The food was excellent and very tasty.After eating we sat in a lounge area where we were given a complimentary drink courtesy of the management to celebrate our anniversary. All in all a very pleasing experience and will definitely return.

Lovely tasty food my sag curry was excellent...as was the rest of our meal. The staff are very welcoming and very friendly .... they couldn't do enough for us... and we got complimentary poppadom and tea & coffee ☕ so good... would highly recommend paying a visit.

I visited Saturday after a walk along the canal, I sat down ordered my food, it felt very rushed. It was lunchtime so Light Bites menu I went for the fish meal. It was very small portion for the price . I have eaten bigger portions of light bites in other places. I thought in a lovely place like Hest bank for locals & tourists the welcome & food quality would have been much better. I definitely will not return.

What a fantastic place in Slyne in Hest...nestled next to Lancaster canal. We were welcomed, felt special and the service we received was awesome, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Excellent menu, and the chef catered for my needs. Wonderful atmosphere and the tables were set, just right. Nothing was too much bother. And FREE PARKING

Went for Saturday night dinner on 25th October. Good food, plenty of choice and pretty good prices. The portions were a little on the small side, came away feeling we'd had a good meal but not completely full. The young waitress was very pleasant but the lady who was probably the owner was slightly off-hand at times. Rather disappointed that the coffee came from a machine and decaffeinated was not an option.

Had a lovely walk alongside canal and called in for sandwiches and a drink, I have been coming here, for over 20 years, and always had good service and food, but yesterday on my birthday with a my family and friends I can only say, the food was disappointing, see if you can spot the differences between what I ordered and what was thrown on my table. 😂

What a lovely homely atmosphere this pub had. We really enjoyed our visit here and will definitely be coming again! Upon walking into the pub we were seated at our reserved table with a beautiful view of the garden. We placed our order and the staff were super efficient tending to all of our requests. The food was fantastic but sadly we did not have room for desserts as we were all stuffed. Look forward to visiting again soon!

We came here for a meal yesterday. Looking at the website the food looked really good so decided to give it a try. We got there and the pub/restaurant looked nice. We were shown to our table and the service was perfectly fine. The food took around 30-40 mins which is fine. I ordered fish and chips and my husband a mixed grill with a side of onion rings to share. When the food came my fish and chips looked nice but the mixed grill was small for what you would expect from a mixed grill. They also put the ‘side’ of onion rings, directly onto the mixed grill plate. It seemed like they added the onion rings to the plate to make it appear there was more on the plate but since when do extra sides go directly onto a main plate? The steak was also on the small side and he asked for it cooked medium but it was more well done and the egg was over cooked as the yolk was solid. My beer battered fish was nice but I wasn’t keen on the chips. Again not what I would expect from fish and chips. Chunky or thicker chips would have been better but that is a personal preference. Overall the food was average and a little disappointing from what we were expecting.

Good honest pub grub, we had a Sunday roast and it was exactly what we wanted. Tasty, well cooked and decent portions. There's chicken, pork and beef or a trio of meats. They're not stingy with sauces or gravy either. Will definitely be back.

We had a takeout. Was rush hour so very busy but well organised. Positives - curry sauce was nice and all was hot, chops were okay. Negatives- the haddock was extremely overdone, chewy and dry. The batter was overdone also and was rock hard. The large haddock was no bigger than the normal ones. Picture shows the rock hard batter that was on the fish. Wasn’t edible. Unfortunately for the price we wouldn’t go again.

Super spot for lunch, fish and chips executed beautifully. Recommend the curry sauce. Lovely staff and locals. You can take away or eat in at the cafe next door.

On my way to a few days of reviewing chippies in Cumbria, I thought it might be a good idea to call at the popular holiday destination of Morecambe Bay and look for a great chippy. I actually located a fantastic chippy. Walking down the quiet street, which was unusual for May, I felt relaxed. Entering the chippy, I felt even more relaxed, and stayed relaxed for the rest of the day. The chippy was clean and tidy, with a real traditional chippy feel. There was a restaurant side to the chippy too, complete with happy people enjoying their meals. The service was great, but the food was something else. The loaded chips were delicious, with crispy chicken, bacon, and all sorts of goodies on top of delicious chips. The haddock was fresh and thick, with a light crispy batter that won't slow you down on the prom. The chips were chunky and fresh, and farmed in Cheshire and regions are mentioned when and where potatoes are farmed and in stock, while the haddock was caught from sustainable stock off Norway. The trawler name was even given! Visited here at the end of September. It was recommended by a local lady that had overheard our conversation. It was a real treat to sit in their restaurant, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. They seem to be proud of their home made beer batter, and quite rightly. It was indeed delicious. It was reasonably priced for a fish and chip restaurant in a seaside town.

Lovely fish and chip place. Take away one side, sit down cafe/restaurant in the other. The home made fish cake was great and the curry sauce portion was ace!

We were staying in Arnside, and I had my heart stuck on fish and chips. But couldn’t believe the chippy shut in Arnside at 7.30pm. Having been driving all day around the Lake District we were deeply disappointed. On searching fish and chip shops and seeing most shut at 8pm. And as it was 8pm I was Hangry. I’m a purist and want fish and chips from a fish and chip shop. Not a pub, not a Chinese and not a pizza takeaway. Morecambe bay looked are only chance. 30mins drive we headed to Atkinson’s. Fish was fresh, chips were nice and the mushy peas were sublime. And the staff friendly. We sat in the car overlooking the bay thoroughly content and glad we made the effort. Please support this chippy as it’s real. Apologies for the photo it was so good we actually ate it rather than take a photo.

We went in the cafe side which was well presented, clean and welcoming. There’s a good menu with something for everyone, including vegans, and 0% beer. The food was very well cooked and we both enjoyed our meal. The service from all three people we met was friendly and helpful.

We had our wedding here on the 24th may. The wedding coordinator Judy was fantastic and did a wonderful job. The service was amazing the staff very friendly . We had a few rooms booked so the morning after the wedding we all got to have breakfast together with all our guests in a room on our own that was a nice touch to get together with everyone before they left to go back home . Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to have a wedding with amazing views

We came for afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, I was very pleasantly surprised, I have had afternoon teas in the past and I can say for the price £25 (with Prosecco) this was definitely the best. The food was sublime, there was nothing on there that I didn’t enjoy. The young lady that served us was very pleasant and professional. Tea and coffee were unlimited and we even got a box to take home, as there was lots of food. Overlooking the bay this was one of the best I have had !!! We will definitely be back !!!

Lovely views, very clean. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Very quiet at 8:30am for breakfast. Outdoor seating available. Dogs allowed in a separate part of the restaurant.

The restaurant is great, good food with big portions and good quality ingredients. We had the Steak Pie it was so good, if we could have seconds portion we would have.

We went for a friend's birthday and opted for the bottomless brunch. I gave my dietary requirements in advance and the chef was great and designed a vegan friendly option. The option was so good that the non vegans were jealous! They even suggested it should be a staple menu item and they'd bring their other friends here on the basis of my meal. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it but that was due to my own appetite rather than the quality of the food, it was delicious. Staff were extremely polite and friendly, would recommend.

Awful awful food, ordered the blade of Beef and all I can say is I thought I’d be served a plate of snot. £23 for a tiny piece of meat with a snot middle. There was a rather large pool of red slime in the middle which made it uneatable. When it came to paying the bill the beef was still full priced when asked for a discount we where told no as the Snot like substance was to hold moisture, which was ironic because the meat was rather dry. We even asked the lady who refused to discount the beef if she would eat it she replied “no I wouldn’t eat it”. Save your money don’t bother over priced clearly packaged meals.

Four if us went for a light bite - all meals were excellent and good value for money. Had a table on the balcony overlooking the bay . Better than being on the Mediterranean!

Nice pub, good range of drinks, real ale. Nice interior decor, large garden, lovely on a summer evening. We were going to eat, but they were short staffed, so we didn't wait, but will be back. A little away from the front, but maybe the better for it.

Absolutely disappointing I booked a table specifically for a Sunday roast after confirming in advance that it was on the menu. Turned up excited for a proper roast dinner… only to be told they were completely out of Sunday roast meals No one bothered to call or email to let me know, so we made the trip for nothing. The staff offered no apology beyond a shrug, and the rest of the menu was a shadow of what you'd expect from a Sunday dinner spot. If you advertise a Sunday roast and take bookings for it, have the roast—or at least have the courtesy to inform customers before they arrive. We left hungry and frustrated. Won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a proper Sunday roast. Very unprofessional, and if you read more of the complaints, you realise it is very average food from this restaurant

We had a meal here on Saturday night, it wasn’t that busy but the service was unbelievably slow. Maybe not enough staff but not any excuse for the owners. We both had steak I asked for mine well done which was not what came. A good vet could have had mine up and walking again. No check back on the food, so after 40 min wait finally got to complain. They did refund the meal, but that’s not the point. I didn’t go there to come away hungry. Won’t be going back . If you do go and it’s not 100% complain.

Stayed here overnight before travelling on to inverness. Absolutely good location close to amenities. Really good customer service the staff outstanding carried our luggage up to rooms 👏little help like that goes along way .Room was lovely 😍 everything you need definitely come back again. Entertainment did go to buzz bingo that's opposite which was good 👍 back to hotel for some drinks .Breakfast was fantastic. Thank you to all staff keep up good work 👏

OK ISH food very expensive. needed a bit more gravy for 8 of us for Sunday lunch. was given half a small jug and charged £4.50 most place's I have eaten in happily give you this free of charge. most veg over cooked except the Mange tout.

Booked a couple of nights stay to watch Morecambe FC play. Room was large, clean and nicely decorated. WiFi connection was great. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended!!

Just booked out of the Crown Bar & Bistro and it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had breakfast on all 3 days of our stay in the bistro and it was excellent. We also had a meal on one of the evenings and again it was excellent. Lovely stay and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Jeanette and her staff in making our trip to Morecambe a good one.

Absolutely fabulous. The manager was so helpful. We had to leave a day early and he sorted everything out for us and didn’t charge us for the cancelled night. The room was actually an apartment. Bed, sofa, big tv, fully fitted kitchen, lovely bathroom and a sea view. The meal on the night time was absolutely delicious and a lovely atmosphere Will definitely return

We rang to reserve a table for 14 at first she thought they could not fit us in but went out of their way to sort it out for us, it was busy with a nice atmosphere. The food was fresh, very nice and everyone enjoyed their meals, Laura and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. I would 100% recommend

Went to The Crown on Saturday night, as part of a group of 25. Could not fault it. Staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly, food was fantastic, great quality and very generous servings. Service was like clockwork, everybody ate at the same time, food was piping hot. The staff worked really hard to ensure we were looked after and prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

After a lovely walk from sandylands to bare village end of beautiful morecambe bay , I decided to try the Bow window . Lovely welcome really clean tablecloths, decorated really nice. Varied menu Roast dinners I tried the flapjack & cappuccino very tasty indeed. The sea view was great , definitely recommended try this if in bare / morecambe bay area. I will be back !

My husband and I have been coming here for many years. We have enjoyed many breakfasts/lunches/cakes and much more. Every single time we go the food is "spot on" - always enjoy our food. Beth and her team look after you very well and staff are always friendly and attentive. A warm welcome awaits and staff are always amenable if you need to change your order slightly. I have recommended the Bow Window to lots of people and it is definitely my favourite place to go for breakfast/lunch. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed !!

Been today with my husband mother &sister in law my husband & I have been before. My mother in law said how lovely it was and the food very good. It is a great place to eat with very large selection I was spoilt for choice. All tasted very good. Chips are really nice.

Found this place by accident. Parking ti visit is on.the main road not too bad when we visited but would imagine in the summer time might be difficult. We were lucky to get a table as it seemed most had been reserved which is always a good sign that tjetevatevaclot of regular visits. On entry youvate required to wear a favemask and sanitise your heads which is enforced by the staff. All the table coverings ate replaced after every sitting and the tables and chairs are wiped down. There is a unisex toilet whi is large and very clean. A decent selection of food is available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had the ham peas fried egg and chips which was very tasty. The wife had a jacket potato with prawns and salad Her potato was well cooked and tasty. We had apple and blackberry crumble with custard delicious, would have liked more pastry. Will definitely call again.

Went in for the second time last week. Not disappointed with either the staff or the food. Fresh chips, plenty of delicious ham and enough peas to sink a battleship. The staff here want to feed you, you don't leave hungry. Well priced food, staff very friendly. will use again

We stumbled across this establishment because our local (Hurley flyer wasn't servicing food) The Staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. The food was perfect. Of high quality in comparison to the price. Drinks reasonably priced. We would 100% recommend for anyone to visit for food, or a drink.

Excellent pub. Great service great choice great prices. Popped in last Saturday late afternoon for a couple of drinks after a long walk. The price of two pints was £5.30 cheaper than the Hurley Flyer along the road. I asked for a menu just out of curiosity and I explained to the lovely girl behind the bar I had coeliac disease (gutted I forgot to ask her name) and she was so so helpful and even took the time to sit with me and show me the allergies scan code and assured me they had a separate fryer and that any two meals from their menu was £12.49. for that price we didn't have high expectations but we both had the gammon and it was delicious. That girl gets the super star staff award from me I hope the owners recognise her. Great find we highly recommend

Just called into our local to try out the new menu, and brilliant food. 2 main meals for, yes 2 main meals for £12.49. Absolute bargain. Thought the plates would be a bit smaller for that price, but no. Fantastic value for money. The bar staff as always are welcoming and polite, and Trish and Steve have done a fantastic job. Would highly recommend to anyone. I mean what’s not to like at these prices.

Small function room, booked for a celebration of a friend's life. Whilst both sides of the bar were attended to, it didn't feel like a special occasion. The bar staff didn't smile, it felt a little like we were in the way.

Better than average definitely. I had a pizza with just salty Italian ham the name of which I can't spell. The meat was tasty. Little bit too salty for my taste but nice. The pizza base was tasty. Very floppy. They don't overload with toppings which I like. Not too much cheese which was tasty. The tomato base is nice. Nothing special. Needs bit more zing to it. I opted for oregano forgetting that fresh oregano isn't that nice when cooked like that and it tainted the taste a little bit. My fault for having it. The "homemade" garlic sauce is definitely not homemade. The tirimisu was average and not homemade. For the price it wasn't worth it. I'd have the pizza again maybe but it is quite expensive.

Honestly the best pizza I think I have ever had! The Napoli di Bufala was on the “authentic Italian” section of the menu and was absolutely delicious. We also shared a yummy garlic bread with cheese and a lovely, fresh caprese salad. We finished up with a Semifreddo (a delicious squidged together slab of strawberries of meringue) and an Oreo cheesecake pot. Fantastic pizza and very highly recommended!

Today I was here for the 3rd or 4th time. We also recommend it because the service is very nice! Today I forgot my hearing aid, and yet the gentleman serving was completely understanding towards my hearing aid. The food is delicious, great idea with water and lemon. There are also disposable finger wipes. The decor is very nice. I like the photo wallpaper the most. The wall of stones and the railing with ropes give great charm. The place is very clean!! So far I haven't been to a cleaner place in England, and I've actually been to many places, in different cities.

The food is excellent, made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is homey and the service is very friendly. I recommend it to all lovers of authentic Italian pizza.🍕❤️

Best Pizza I’ve had in the UK! This little gem is absolutely worth going to Morecambe for. Coming from the USA, it’s been hard to find good pizza, not anymore. Excellent quality and service.

Called in on spec. We were surprised. Quick and polite service with meals served within 10 minutes. Food was excellent; tasty well cooked steak as good as you can get for the price. Obviously the Kings Arms has competent cooks who can turn good food around and slick servers. Excellent beer. Do not overlook the Kings Arms. Better than the average pub. Went in here last Saturday afternoon for lunch with my family. The lunch was great. Dog friendly and couldn’t fault it. We returned that evening to watch a very good live band called The Section. It was a fantastic night. Big pub has lots of space. Great, friendly staff. So impressed returned on Monday for lunch before setting off back home to Hampshire. Thank you Kings Arms. I hope to come back again.

Is this the best pub in town? I dunno, I didn't go in any other. This earthy, no frills venue was perfect as I tried to hastily chuck as many pints as possible in the limited time I had there down my neck. It worked, I came away re energised. Boom.

What a great pub. We recently spent the weekend in Morcambe visiting friends and came here twice! Spacious, clean and welcoming pub with the added bonus that it's dog friendly! Great menu choices and the food came out quickly and fresh. Staff really friendly too. We had burgers, wraps, all day breakfast, a selection of sides and chocolate brownies. Good value for money as a few items on the menu also come with a drink. Great location opposite the Eric Morcambe statue. Would definitely return!

I visited the pub on Sunday lunchtime for a drink, the service was good and whilst there I perused the menu. I was impressed by the selection of food on offer and decided to return that evening for something to eat. I returned at about seven o'clock, I went to the bar and was ignored by the various staff who were obviously all on a mission of their own. I was about to leave when someone turned up and asked if I wanted anything. I ordered a drink and sat down to decide what to have to eat. I then returned to the bar to order food. I waited for a few minutes and the same person turned up and I ordered a mixed grill. The food came up quite quickly. I was very happy that it was so quick. As soon as I started to eat I realised the food was only Luke warm the chips were cold and the rest wasn't much better. I touched the plate and that was also cold which is obviously the reason for the cold dinner. The food was nicely cooked unfortunately ruined by the cold plate. I can only think that Sunday night is not a good time to visit. It really isn't hard to supply a hot plate, particularly as the pub had been serving food all day. I shan't rush back....

Great venue, plenty of tv's around the bar. Service was a bit annoying sometimes, one thing I hate more than anything is having to queue for beer, the staff done their best. It didn't stop us going back again.

Great service Clean pub Staff were happy to swap out my fries for salad. Very reasonably priced. We got 3 x burger meal deals which includes a drink each and a side of chicken wings to share. We paid around £27.

Just went in for a coffee, we sat near the window so had a great view of the bay, coffee was ok, just a little on the noisy side with the kids playing bowls, not really a place to visit if you want quiet

I always enjoy going to this Bowling Alley. You can choose who gets barriers/bumpers and who doesn't, with the system automatically switching between them. You can have your score sheet sent out to you, and they even have a Godzilla Pinball Machine.

Never had a bad experience here across multiple visits. Food has always been great, drinks cold, and games fun. I have had food delayed before, but it can get busy so that is perfectly understandable. As for the bowling itself, it is always fun, allowing for some customisation during the game too (blocking the gutters, changing names, etc).

Absolutely loved it here, the food was fresh, everything came out hot and on point! Great atmosphere and excellent service from staff, we were recommended some drinks by Cheryl and they were fantastic, highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Had a couple of games here whilst was raining. Alley was quite modern. Bar and restaurant joined on, can have drinks at your lane. Staff weren't the friendliest, but were polite

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here from start to finish. When we checked in Stephen and Jamie helped us with our bags as we were up two stories but their help made this very easy. There was no lift so anyone with mobility issues would have found this challenging. The rooms are lovely and clean, well appointed and functional with small touches such as USB chargers in the power outlets. The TV was a smart TV and very easy to use, the door entry is via a smart lock that was easy to use and the hotel uses energy efficient lighting. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Breakfast was included and both were excellent and reasonably priced. A great selection of beer, wine and spirits and cocktails. A pleasant atmosphere overall with great staff and located a short walk from the railway station and close to supermarkets and local attractions. An excellent stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Be careful of this cowboy hotel. My mother was unwell to travel and had to go into hospital, we was offered a refund as a goodwill gesture from the manager. The owner claims the conversation never took place. Don’t offer goodwill gestures and turn back on them, when you see fit. In future use proper chains, not cowboys. There is a reason premier inn makes millions and this place struggles to generate a profit. All the best.

Partner and I had a 2 night break .hotel is central .staff are friendly and most helpful. Food was amazing &tasty . Our room was on the 3rd floor, lovely sea view but all the stairs are nit gor the faint hearted .if your travelling by car. Call ahead to book a car park space .we hadn't done this although staff did arrange a space in the car park on the morning of our first full day .I definitely would recommend this hotel although morcombe it's self is quite run down area

Booked here when starting the Way of the Roses cycle route. They store cycles in one of their lockups behind the hotel. The room was fine, in fact very good for the price. Clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfasts are all cooked, no cereal or fruit salad. I opted for a full English and it was delicious. I did pay to add breakfast when I booked the room. This added £10 but you could buy any of the breakfasts on offer for less, and in some cases a lot less so I'd suggest not ordering this with the room. I had dinner at the hotel - Steak Frites and it was delicious.

Tldr: way too noisy. So we booked a Friday&Saturday stay here in Morecambe, having only visited the town a couple times before and not being familiar with this particular location. No viable parking, they had space at the back, for fiver a day. It got insured to move forward and be blocked in, which whilst maybe better for security did leave us a bit anxious on being trapped there. Chiming with other reviewer, found it a touch odd basically when In bar the v first thing was staff asking for full payment upfront, including the 2 days parking. Did make me wonder what but factors are coming next. Now we're basically trapped. I should state the good points in that room was decent seeming value for what it was with breakfast and the breakfast was good. The staff were generally fine and bright young people and I could see the building was well maintained and doors in the stairwells clearly did some effective soundproofing in that direction as possible. I think the cleaners deserve particular credit, this place is dog friendly but cleanliness wise seems to put most of Blackpool etc region to shame by comparison. But despite I think the windows being double glazed, what it was up against on the evening is v gl with that. Love band seemingly playing just outside until 2330-0000 with v heavy bass and also neighbours bar performances and bad boy racer drivers and general feral locals all made for quite the chorus. &I was awoken by arguing and feral local activity around 0130 and wife didn't sleep at all because this until the witching hour 0300-0400 or so. Picking up somewhat again quite early in the morning afterwards. With window closed the room became very hot and stuffy even with all heating off. We did have some local wandering earlier and saw some local feral sights. I myself grew up on a council estate and recognise some signs to stay safe enough. Coastal life seems to be something a bit else. I do gather this in late September is a part gasp of the summer season and visiting on a random Tuesday out of season we'd probably see none of this and all the charm to them generally match the reviews seen here. But quite the difference and no warning on the listing or in the messages at all like seem at other venues when wedding receptions etc on and they weren't anything as bad and impactful as this. We couldn't face another night like this on a Saturday and there's no reasonable adjustment possible to inform the staff of to correct this. When I stated checking out early they responded perfect, which was the succinct response I did want as I was already exhausted by that point and didn't welcome futile endeavours, although for them I bet that was. No premier Inn good night guarantee here seen, implied or delivered. I can put some things down to experience but I think so could the operators of the venue, and so not for us in summary on this occasion and corner cutting and omission by the operators and other such manger has to be heavily damned for me.

Won’t stay here every again. First issue was the ‘cat park’. You had to pay £5 per day for something that hardly resembles a car park. There is only 4 spaces and you have to park in a stack mode - meaning one car goes all the way up then the second one goes behind you. So if you are planning on leaving and someone is parked behind you and they already left, then you’re screwed. The rooms are spread between few floors and it feels like you are going to Narnia to get to your room. There is no lift so good luck with the suitcases! Anyone who has mobility issues will struggle on these narrow steps. Didn’t like that part. The room was extremely hot, even with the window open and all radiators off. Not only throughout the day but night too. I really do not understand how the hell could a room get this hot at the end of September?! There was one window with like two sections. Only the top section open and only on one side. Not enough to cool the room down. The room just stayed hot throughout the night. The bed was a small double and the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on. When you sat down on it, it felt like you were falling through. It was so soft it felt awful. There is no way two grown adults could fit on it. When we tried to sleep that night we had to sleep in the opposite direction to each other because we couldn’t fit on it. The bed was low as well so it was difficult to get up. Bathroom was relatively small. The shower although powerful and hot was rather small and it felt claustrophobic. The worst part about the place is the noise!!! We had earplugs with us but for those who sleep with earplugs you will know if the room gets hot, a pressure builds in the body and if you are wearing earplugs you will get very nasty headache. So they were useless to us. What we didn’t know - because it is not advertised anywhere, not on booking.com; not on google; not anywhere else - is that they have a live music!!! OMG!!! You could NOT sleep through that! Not only the music but the crowd, the vibrations throughout the building from electric guitar and the massive speakers they had!!! It was around 11.30pm when it stopped. We were still awake because of that. Awake, tired and annoyed as hell!! Then the crown leaving… another two hours of people walking by, singing, screaming, cars going off in the distance, some knobhead driving up and down in his loud car!!! My husband managed to get some sleep with the earplugs in. However, I didn’t. I stayed up until 4.30am because it was so hot in that room I felt ill. Eventually I managed to fall asleep and get 3 hours of sleep. This was all so bad for us as we were driving the next day and wanted some rest. I woke up with a migraine and felt ill. Couldn’t even eat much for breakfast. The breakfast was the only GOOD thing about this place. My husband enjoyed it. I couldn’t eat and to top it off they were playing loud music in the bar as well. I feel that the way they advertise the place is misleading and wrong. They do not tell you everything about the place and the pictures are done so it looks inviting and good. If you want quiet and comfortable night go somewhere else!

Polite staff Gluten free fish and chips Service slightly on the slow slide for takeaway I’d also say as nice as the food was the price and size not very reflective - ordered large fish and chips for 2 came to roughly £32. Picture is of one box - Lovely packed, tasty but by no means large and probably more closer to £10-12 for value I’d say.

Amazing food, lovely pub, great beer garden/outdoor seating and eating. My wife had the Smash cheese burger, I chose the Garlic mushroom Panko chicken, UNBELIEVABLE!! I couldn't even finish it. For the quality and quantity the price was excellent. (Beer was nice too). I happily recommend this place.

My husband and I have just had a fantastic meal. Great value on the lunch time deal and the warm scones were a treat. The quality and portion sizes were top quality as were the staff and service. I highly recommend and we will be back.

We turned up with a group of 7 and no booking but were welcomed and we'll accommodated without any fuss. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was lovely- fresh, tasty and nicely presented. A really enjoyable experience all round

Really great family- friendly find. Good value for money, there was a really varied menu. Staff were very attentive and ensured we were comfortable and had an accessible space for my son’s wheelchair. The playground/ beer garden was great and very close to the sea front etc.

Excellent Friday Tea ❤️ We came from work after a hectic week, and had such a great experience. The team looked after us well, and the food was incredible. We went for the hanging chicken and hanging steak kebabs and thoroughly enjoyed them. We love TMH and will no doubt be back again soon. Thanks all 🤩

First time visiting and the place is very welcoming. I was a little bit disheartened that the place doesn’t have any dark stout beers, they only have blonde beers which to me are just yuk! Anyway, we’d pre-booked our table and were shown by a young man who I can happily say had great communication skills and good banter. The menu is a little on the sparse side, not much to choose from, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. The starters were lovely, as were the mains (which I could not finish as they were just too immense). I would highly recommend this to anyone. Great place with lovely food and very friendly staff.

Always love going here on our regular visits to Morecambe. Wendy was fantastic as always, who took our last minute table booking, and she's a credit to the business just like Helen was. I think the menu needs to extend as it seems to be the same in recent years. The place allows dogs in too. Keep up the great work Wendy - see you next time!

Stumbled upon this establishment by accident when in Morecambe one Wednesday in June. There is free on road parking outside if you can get a space. Limited to one hour before six o’clock. Initial impression was the place was very clean. A visit to the gents confirmed that. Everything looked neat and tidy. When we arrived we were the only two in the restaurant but a few more did come in whilst we were dining so we had plenty of options on where to sit. For drinks ordered a pint of Peroni. £5.50 a pint. I think this is expensive but it seems to be the going rate these days and similar to other establishments. My brother was driving so he ordered from a range of soft drinks a glass of Fanta for £2.00. Much better value and nice to see non alcoholic drinks sold at a very reasonable price. I also ordered a large glass of red wine at £6.20. Again that’s pretty reasonable considering how much some places charge for a large glass of wine these days. They did serve wine by the bottle but appeared to be only two choices for red and the same for white but no information on what the wine was so decided to just go with a glass. We ordered Half rack of Ribs to share as a starter. I wasn’t over keen on the BBQ sauce but my brother enjoyed it. There was a decent amount of meat on the ribs and it easily came off the bone. For mains we ordered the Fusion Sharing Board at £18.00. Hopefully you can see from the picture what we got. It included pulled pork and beef. Fries, spicy rice, salad, coleslaw, various peri peri dips and some of the tastiest, most succulent chicken I have ever had. The sauces were really nice as was the home made coleslaw. The sauces / dips a nice kick to them without burning your mouth. The sharing board was very filling and enough for the two of us. It left no room for dessert. The service was very good. It might be different when it’s full on a Saturday night but we certainly had no complaints. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. She was able to make recommendations to us and answer any queries we had. Came over several times to check if everything was alright which I always like. So many places no longer seem to offer what to me is a simple courtesy. Overall we really enjoyed the food and the dining experience. It was certainly something different and good value for money. On a personal level would like to have seen a few more choices of wine and information on what country and region they came from. But perhaps the owners know their clientele and there isn’t much demand for wine in their establishment.

I visited Fusion tonight for a meal with my family, our first post lockdown get together. I would highly recommend this Restaurant. Food: I had a 3 course meal all cooked to perfection and flavourful. I particularly enjoyed the ribs starter and the crispy chicken burger. Chicken was succulent and tasty. All my fussy requirements (yes there were a few) was met with a smile and accommodated without complaint. Drinks: Huge menu choice for drinks. The merlot was really nice and there's no skimping on anything in this place, large glasses well filled. I finished with a mango frozen cocktail which was by far the best I've had in the area. I also tried my sister in laws "fusion" non alcoholic drink and this was also delicious. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is spot on, vibrant decor, the eye is never bored nor overwhelmed. Appropriate music at the right volume to create a nice background noise that doesn't distract from the conversation. The tables are well spaced so you have the privacy to enjoy your own conversation which hearing others. Service: The service was quick, efficient, polite and helpful throughout. Our waitress was friendly and did a great job. The staff don't seem to sit still! Consistently cleaning sanitising and serving. I dont remember having to wait for service at any point despite the place being fully booked and only its second night running. Drinks were replenished as soon as required. Other Info: We visited with my two young nieces and found the atmosphere to suit families. Accessible changing facilities, children's menu and colouring books to keep them entertained. Absolutely fantastic - food was delicious and different to the take away menu. Fresh, well balanced plate and really tasty. Gluten free versions of dishes available.

No review could do justice for this place. From my initial visit to make a booking, until leaving after eating, the attention my wifeand I received was beyond exceptional. She has a food allergy to soya and dairy. Pete the chef confirmed what could be adjusted if need be. He even made up mayonnaise especially for my wife. All the while, Kaitlin ensured we were looked after. I cannot praise the staff enough, but oh my, the food was amazing. We had the chicken breast with roast veg and rice, all made allowing for the allergy (including the aforementioned mayo). I had the cheeseburger with slaw and fries. My wife cannot describe the culinary experience she had. BEAUTIFUL. I will eat here again if ever in Morecambe and I urge anyone, with any dietary requirements to eat here.

What a letdown ! Went here for an evening meal yesterday. Ordering at the bar and paying before you get your food is too much like a pub. When the food arrived it looked good but mine was stone cold. The trout was a rectangular piece (like "boil in the bag"). The samphire was very poor quality and very woody. My husband had the partridge which was overcooked and very tough. His vegetables (one spoonful each of dry mashed potato, cabbage and red cabbage) were also cold. Then back to the bar to order and pay for desserts- we both had the crumble - very large pieces of hard apple. O.K. when we complained we were offered free coffees but that did not make up for the poor quality of the food. Not what we expected from The Midland. Definitely won't be going back or recommending it to anyone.

We requested a room for wheelchair accessibility and it was great! Even the street side of the Hotel had a good few. There was a nice point to walk around on the sea side. Staff was great. A full English breakfast was included. Great location with restaurants and shopping near by. A little dated but well maintained!

Came in today, had a meal. The last time we came it was cold and we kept our coats on. This time it was lovely and cosy, no coats. Good service, and quick service. We're booked in for a big family meal in December, so looking forward to our visit. This was a trial run.

We have just been for afternoon tea ( birthday treat for myself) with my son , daughter in law , granddaughter and my partner. What a disappointment. It was so very cold , we were moved from the location we wanted to an alcove ( no view ) which was still so cold. We had to sit with our coats on. The 2 men ordered roast dinners that came after 50 minutes. My daughter in law and myself had almost finished the afternoon tea. What should have been a joyous afternoon, turned into a very disappointing one.

Stopped for a drink in the gorgeous Rotunda bar. Served by the most charming young Irish man who was friendly, interesting and mixed me a lovely negroni. The art work and decor is really lovely in the bar so we were surprised and disappointed to see that the rest of the hotel was very dull and functional, with nasty plastic chairs and Formica tables in the dining room, very ordinary chain-hotel type upholstery elsewhere, and rather tacky decor in general. I used the toilets in the bar, which have separate staircases marked for men and women. Was therefore rather startled to find a man washing his hands when I entered through the ‘ladies door’. Turns out it’s a unisex toilet facility with cubicles and also an unmarked and open room with urinals (no door, but round a corner). While I’m sure the male clients at the Midland are above behaving aggressively in toilets, it’s still rather dishonest to not warm women that the toilets are a unisex communal arrangement, so that they can make an informed choice about whether to use them. Everyone, and especially women who have suffered trauma/assault/aggression/bullying/abuse from men, has the right to choose to use a single sex toilet/washroom area - for privacy, dignity, and safety. Public spaces like hotels have a certain duty of care to their users and I would have expected a higher level of honesty and transparency here. Please use signs at the top of each staircase to alert everyone to the fact that these toilets are unisex. Thank you

Food looks really nice but the taste is not right 😕 we staying on Sunday night £165 with 2 little dogs we've happy with everything except the food is taste not really nice chip really hard and taste awful i things you're need to training the chef in the kitchen for better belive me...

Amazing pita bread here! I felt like I had never had a real, authentic Greek pita until I came here - and man, was it worth the wait! Really good food - we had the chicken kebab with a side salad and fries (and of course the infamous pita bread!) followed by a Lemonkrema and an orange-soaked cake with chocolate ice-cream. It was all delicious, and the service was great, too! You have to plan your visit well though as when we visited it was only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Highly recommended!

Unhurried professionalism. What a lovely experience, began with drinks, then very tasty dips followed by excellent mains and because they looked so good, puddings. My wife and I agreed, we had eaten too much. Apart from the gluten free Pitta Bread, All was of a very high standard

We were lucky enough to dine in without booking, but I would definitely recommend you do make a reservation. The food was lovely, we had the set menu - meat option. All the food was super fresh and lots of flavours. The staff were lovely and very attentive. While we were there, there was a lot of regulars / returning customers which goes to show how well loved the restaurant is.

Accommodated 6 of us last minute. Menu was vast and authentic Greek. Lots of Veggie options too. The meals were incredible. Tasty, flavoursome and service was friendly and super efficient. A gem of a find for our one night stay in Morecombe.

Food is beyond amazing here! Atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. This was my second visit here and we were a table of 6. We was there on tuesday, wasn't busy l. We choice Happy Hour All you can eat for 2 people . Was very good and testy . We had starter twice , forget make a pic, then we had Aromatic Crispy Duck as well forgot male a pic. Then we choise few meal from main meals. No complain all good.

Very tasty meal. I had what was described as "noodles -dry", turned out to be like Chow Mein in any other Chinese restaurant - but didn't have much in it apart from noodles and a few bits of spring onion - it wasn't exactly "dry" it was in a small amount of a very nice sauce. My husband had beef in black bean sauce and he said it was really tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and chatty and we had very good service. Would definitely recommend this place.

Came on Friday night with my dad whilst in Morecombe for a meal, food was ok nothing to write home about had the set menu £27 per person mixed starter thing it was all bought in frozen stuff then duck pancakes they where lovely then I had steak it was cut into very small pieces staff where freindly enough they also had loads of delivery drivers in and out I think I counted 5 drivers in total so always a draft of cold air when they entered exited the restaurant. Had to wait for ages for the food, when the main courses eventually came waitress when to the wrong table then as we where nearly finished they came with the salt and pepper chips again to a different table from the first time said to them we aren’t paying as I’m nearly finished wanted them with my meal not as pudding.

Food is normally ok. Chicken fried rice has no ingredients in it its just boiled rice with egg, boiled chicken and peas fried very quickly. No garlic, onions or soy sauce. Most Chinese restaurants do this now to save money but still charge high price for rice.

worst Chinese I’ve ever had, The salt and pepper chips were Plain chips with onions and chilies on , The chicken chow mein was like pure slime and tasted like fish and overall it was a very bland with prawn crackers like cardboard.. avoid this rubbish Chinese

absolute rubbish food the chips went straight in the bin no seasoning and clearly frozen value pack i had a chow Mein that was tasteless and dried up it also had an aftertaste of old cooking oil two mouthfuls and in the bin my wife had chips and gravy one taste and in the bin and it wasn't the cheapest, I have had the odd bad element of a dish but never binned a full order avoid this place

This evening me and my fiancé asked for a actual receipt but someone was supposed to drop off the receipt for my fiancé support and no one turned up as we not happy with the issue that has not been resolved

Absolute gem of a place. But unfortunately, closing soon. Varied menu all looked so delicious. I had steak and was given one with the stilton which I haden't ordered but I said I would try. It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, could not fit in dessert. Washed down with a lovely Shiraz. I so want to return really hungry so I can have three courses. Try it before it shuts in August 😭😭😭😭

We called here on Sunday for lunch Amanda, the manager could not have been more welcoming and the bar staff were equally lovely. I had my 2 granddaughters with me who shared chicken and chips. The chicken was coated in a beer batter and was lovely. It came on 2 plates already shared out for them. I was going to have the Sunday lunch that looked fantastic but was taken by the tornado rossini that was totally divine. I certainly look forward to returning 😊

Great food. We had steak and it was cooked to perfection. Choice of starters I excellent. So many to choose from so we ordered four and shared. Will definitely be back.

We went on Saturday 27th September about 6.30. We had 3 starters & one main: -Popadoms with usual sauces & onions = Good! -3 x Very small Onion Bhaji = looked & tasted like frozen supermarket product. -3 x Chicken pakora = Hard small pieces of real chicken covered in breadcrumbs with No spices or flavour. - Chicken Biryani with a butter curry sauce = Wow!! The worst ever, we are well travel including many Holidays in India. Rice with hard bits in as if it was heated up under the grill… the chicken was not moist or fresh to taste! No spices Or Flavour. The buttered sauce was like a korma nothing like the regular butter curry sauce in Most Indian restaurants. We wanted to pay on card. Well, what a joke that was!! 2025 you run a restaurant business & your card machine has to be taken outside to complete transactions… The young girl was like us embarrassed, 3 times she went out to try & get the transaction to complete?? In the end we were so desperate to get out of the restaurant I said I’ll pay in cash. Which is what we think the Owner wanted to happen. As I refuse to believe that they have no internet/wifi facility in a business they run? The best of our visit was the delightful young girl that served us.

Our air BnB host recommended us to eat here and we could see why. Service was quick and friendly and all the staff were very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and good portion sizes. If we come to this area again we would revisit

Once again another fantastic family meal as always ❤️ We have been coming to dining here for the last 25 years. This lovely family run restaurant never fails. It adds class to the other Indian restaurants locally as they treat you personally to your required needs and are friendly and to us that is the most important thing. The standard of food is the best always never fails. The choice of being able to take your own alcohol too is also great. We will never dine anywhere else when it comes to a authentic Indian experience. See you all next week x

Recently went to Saffron while on a visit to Morecambe for a short holiday break. Found Saffron via Google maps and we were torn on going as we go to Indian a lot but it was very good. I had the king prawn madras which was good and my partner had the chicken jalfrezi which was Very good. The Bombay potatoes we're also nice. Would go again if we we're in the area.

The vibe of the restaurant is amazing and calming. Staff is amazing & polite. Food is good but Make sure it’s not a Desi Food. Their main customers are white folks who do not like spicy foods. Food is sweetened even Karahi & currys. But it was an amazing experience. Prices are just above normal, Quantity is just fine. Recommended for new experiences & enjoy the vibe.

We booked via Facebook, they where very helpful and friendly sent us the menus and told us what food was on the offers. Food was great (as always) - very helpful with picking a meal for my son as well who is 1. Service was great. No complaints definitely recommend

Came to Rita’s Cafe for a breakfast and it was really nice. You get a decent portion of food for your money and a friendly service. They also know how to make a good cuppa which is rare in cafes nowadays 😁 I recommend trying the cakes too as they’re all homemade! The trifle is amazing as I had to try one after noticing them! Thanks for having us and we’ll see you next time we’re in Morecambe! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a good hearty breakfast with the family one morning whilst stopping in morcambe. Friendly staff, plenty of tables/seating, good full English breakfast all round. Prices are very reasonable (cheaper than market cafes). Good location on front with outdoor seating. Only knocked it down for quality of the sausage tbh .... I like a good butchers sausage, BUT I understand it reflects in the price 👌🏻

Great little 'greasy spoon'. I mean that in the most affectionate sense. Great value, no frills, excellent service. Place was packed with locals which is a great accolade.

This place was recommend by more than one person, with good reason. Staff were friendly prices were good service quick enough for a busy Sunday lunchtime. Food was pretty good the bacon and black pudding in particular. It was only let down by the sausage, which was not the best quality I'd happily pay a bit more for the breakfast to get a better banger.

I was very excited about the idea of exotic meats here. I had a delicious sea bass stew which was perfect for the cold winter weather. I was expecting something more 'out there' with the meats, there was a kangaroo burger as an option. I'll have to try it again when I'm in the area to give it a proper review!

A real gem! Without exception the food was excellent, the starters and deserts in particular. The chocolate orange tart with orange sorbet was insane. Also a very nice wine list, exceptional service, and wonderful vibe. Can’t wait to come back here.

A cafe on the NW Coast serving a variety of breakfast choices and lunches. It's right on the shore and there are fabulous views across the bay. The ferry port is immediately left and it's not far from the power station - so keep your camera lense pointed right if you want beautiful scenery. Had bacon and egg buns and cappuccinos which certainly didn't disappoint.

Lovely little cafe right on the beach. A place of refuge from the wind! Food and drink decent quality and service quick. Not many tables inside but plenty additional outside. Dog friendly

Five of us called in for breakfast before going to Heysham power station for a morning tour, excellent choice, good food at a reasonable price, great staff and a great location, clean toilets. There is a large pay and display car park opposite at reasonable prices, well worth it for the location. Can highly recommend this cafe .

Phaal Jalfrezi was really tasty but in heat wise disappointing! They did offer me another 1 tho! !Phaal is 10 times hotter than a vindaloo,so expected to be man v's food type curry! However smashed it not even sweating or needing a drink!.Nice staff but Service was pretty poor as they didn't even offer us drinks! Then had to ask staff how long our food gonna be for our table with 7 customers on it! Staff replied how was your curry? Said we haven't even received it yet! Confused. Com! Not even a full restaurant! Men's toilets had no soap in dispenser! bad sign of hygiene for me! Decor well wicked & modern & the added bonus of taking your own alcohol! Definitely will go again tho & let them redeem there self's tho & charge my review

The food is simply excellent. Came here twice for dinner. Fridays definitely busier than Thursdays. The balti is exquisite. The specials are also very good - watch out on the level of spice - ask your waiter.

Ordered food for takeaway to a hotel I was staying at, picked up a menu and ordered for delivery. I was overcharged by £3. I called up after and was told that I have an old menu even though I just picked the menu from the restaurant. Food tasted nice but small portions for price, wont be returning!

Absolutely joke, no beer, no coffee, staff playing with the phone, no communication whatsoever apart from taking the order!! Food "average" at best. AVOID!!!

Travelling from Wales to Scotland and decided to come in here for lunch. After sitting for 15 minutes we had to ask someone to take out order. Eventually a server appears. Waiting another 15/20 minutes and no drinks had arrived by then. We decided to leave as god knows when the food would have appeared. I understand it's busy and I'm more than happy to wait but very frustrating watching the same 3 tables being served over and over again and people who were at the games next door getting served at the bar. Awful service and won't be returning.

Really enjoyed dining here with my missis. Food was good and reasonably priced. Beer, as always in any restaurant is a bit over the odds price wise but that's forgiveable. We didn't get the hot flannels to clean off with, but you seldom get that anywhere these days. But we didn't even get the wet wipes either and that was a shame because it let down otherwise faultless service. The waiters were dressed impeccably and they were attentive too. Overall this was a very good experience and only needs a couple of minor tweaks to hit perfection. No complaints though and I would recommend the place and come back again too.

We really enjoyed our visit here. We welcomed warmly and attended to quickly. The food came in a good timely manner and it was presented beautifully as well as being tasty. Taj and the team were very hospitable and we defo recommend a drop by here if you’re in the area or nearby! We had a thaali and the curry’s were nice! I was so full. But the portions were just right for what we paid for.

First time visiting this new restaurant and it won’t be the last. I booked shortly before going and was delighted with the experience. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The food was good quality and tasted very fresh. It is one of the nicest Indian meals I have had in a long time. The chicken was really succulent and tasty. It was good value for money too. I would recommend it and I will be back.It’s best to ring and book to guarantee a table but they are very accommodating.

We had the Morecambe Bay Chowder and it was a taste sensation, so tasty, warming, and filling, the sourdough bread complimented it perfectly, we would love to try the other chowders on offer but it was the last day of our holiday, hopefully we will return in the future to try them! The beers were great too, and a very friendly atmosphere 🍲🍞🍻

I tried the haddock chowder at their pop up at Haigh Hall Artisan Market - this was SO GOOD! My knowledge of chowders is admittedly pretty limited but it piqued my interest as soon as I saw it and it did not disappoint! There were topping options as well as garnishes - I had mine topped with bacon, parsley and lemon juice (which was served via pipette! A lovely little quirk) Pete was lovely and clearly passionate about his craft - he advised that everything is pretty much sourced locally in Morecambe which is great to hear and it was all cooked to perfection. I will certainly be visiting their main site if I ever visit Morecambe!

Superb chowder served with a smile! Delicious Morecambe Bay chowder (fish) and Salt Marsh Lamb Goulash served with excellent sourdough. The staff serving at both the chowder counter and the bar are excellent, friendly and helpful. Definitely the place to go in Morecambe for something a little different but most definitely delicious.

Very warm welcome when we arrived in Morecombe at the Chowder company. Delicious Chowder and sour dough bread. A bit expensive but delicious and unusual. The bar there has great beers and good tunes playing. Magic combination!

Never tried chowder before, here was my first time at the Bath Tap, I had the Morecame Bay Chowder with some bacon on top! It was bloody delicious, so so tasty . A one man band on too which was incredible too. Great atmosphere, such a good experience all round! Bravo to all!!

So glad we decided to stop for a chowder (with added shrimp) and a pint. The chowder really was perfect 10/10. Loved the live music too, will definitely be back.

We were a party of 4 and had 4 different meals, all of which were terrible. The chicken burger was burned, the ‘peri peri’ chicken was a very dry plain piece of chicken with grey skin, covered in oil. I ordered the kebab which was a dry plain chicken breast shredded in a wet pita. Clearly everything is pre-prepared so there’s very little quality and for a peri peri place I’ve never had such bland food. We are about 30% of our meals. The lad serving (who was really nice) did come and ask us how the food was and we told him it was very poor. He said he’d go back to tell the owner but they didn’t come to speak to us which I thought was really poor form after we had complained. The frozen chips were fine.

OMG spent £45 for the worst food I have ever had. It was supposed to be peri peri chicken( a bit like nandos) chicken that has been cooked in an oven and marinated that was a lie, the young man who served us ask us how the food was. You can imagine the reply. He continued to say the chicken we had received which was so anaemic, had been cooked in an oven and infused with a peri peri marinade. NO IT WAS DRY CHICKEN FRIED IN A DEEP FAT FRYER infused with fat. Please don't even try it, you will certainly spend your hard earned money on food that is only fit for the bin. The people at our hotel we were staying laughed as us and just said you should have eaten here! . So no its a disgusting place cold unprofessional.

We pre-ordered food for delivery at half seven - it arrived at half nine and the portion sizes were half the size they used to be. The app says that wraps are served with salad and coleslaw, turns out they aren't anymore but they haven't changed the menu yet. Good food, but doesn't represent value for money anymore, especially when it's 2 hours late.

Great value meal, great portions and cooked perfectly. Hot sauce choice was nice and lip tingling and the fries were delicious. Ordered for 7 and arrived right on time and still lovely and hot. I will definitely be ordering from again. Can't understand any ratings less than 5, maybe too fussy diners. Please give it a go especially during these hard times. Keep safe everyone.

I have been ordering 4 days in a row. Good food, salad is very fresh you can tell that by simply looking at cucumbers and tomatoes. Some other takeaway don't seem to care about state of salad, often you receive slimy salad. (Very Clean Food) - which is very important to me, especially as someone like me who eats healthy but has no time to cook. Thank you for your unbelievably quick delivery.

Beautifully clean and comfortable surroundings, excellent service, very friendly helpful staff and exquisite food. Very reasonably priced and generous portions. Would definitely recommend and return.Thanks for making out first meal out so great. It will be difficult to equal elsewhere.

Bacon is great as long as you enjoy chewing on old leather boots, toast is just warm-ish bread. Only good value is the sausages. Service was slow out of the kitchen but friendly staff behind the counter. Over priced breakfast won't happen again.

I've been to the cafe many times. My friend and I had double egg and chips, eggs were over cooked (crispy) and chips under cooked. Cook needs to be trained on how to fry an egg. Chip quality was very poor. In future, I think we will go to Morrisons. I've downgraded my previous score to reflect the poor quality of the food.

Had cod and chips and just couldn't eat it. Frozen square fish was tasteless and batter was soggy. Peas looked and tasted like they'd been on the boil for 6 months and chips were just horrible. No-one came to ask how food was after it had been served so didn't have the opportunity to ask for something else so putting my feedback here. £13.60 wasted.

The food here today was freshly cooked and looked lovely on the plate. My granddaughters meal of fish fingers and chips and beans wasn't over cooked as most children's meals look as if they have been In a deep fryer. Mine and my daughters were well presented. The only negative thing I would say Is, there were some tables far too small. Our first table could not have accommodated 3 meals, so we moved when someone left. The staff were pleasant and kept the tables clear. Ordering the meal was efficient and the staff lovely. This is appreciated.

Pretty average food and drink. Has an accessible lift to get to it and the staff are very good. Bit bleak in outlook and set up but does the job. (Watch out for the parking, you need to get a ticket and have it reimbursed in the store)

After seeing these reviews, I’m doubting everything about any review! The staff here were really lovely friendly etc.the food was appalling. The fish wasn’t any fish I know! Blanched chips! Holiday makers can’t do much and they don’t care they know you won’t be back anyway. We spent £50 and couldn’t eat them. Had to go to Morrisons and buy more food. The seagulls enjoyed them anyway. I own a chippy. I know what I’m talking about.

Visited whilst on holiday from Scotland. Our little boy is celiac and he loved the gluten free fish bites. Extra care is given to ensure his food was kept in a separate bag. Lovely food and staff. Would highly recommend

Fish was brilliant. Chips were awful, over cooked and dry, actually uneatable , they went in the bin. Probably cooked at opening time so 2 hours later crap. Had such high recommendation, definitely the chips were a big NO. The price of nearly £20 it was an expensive meal for 2 fish. Not happy

Fantastic gluten free fish and chips. Fish was fresh, batter was lovely and crunchy and not flakey like others I've had, and the batter wasn't bland. The chips were actually well fried with a lovely golden brown, and a nice crunch. The owners were also super helpful and accommodating.

The fish and fishcakes are awesome here, chips as well. Cooked in beef dripping for a great taste - so good we went twice on a midweek break in the area.

I have been using this take away for years and has always been piping hot, ordered tonight to find it was cold, I rang up to let them know my food was cold, the person who spoke with me was rude and said its impossible to be cold we cook to 99°, my main and rice was cold and chips warm, she offered me half refund, then snapped saying we will fully refund the money and collect the food to check temperature accusing me of lying! Then said find a new take away as we won't deliver again, with that attitude I be happy to take my custom elsewhere.

Everyone has their own opinions of this place but I’ve had nothing but good feedback to fast delivery, to good quality Chinese food. I always ask for certain request and they follow it every time. Absolutely brilliant Chinese and lovely staff. I would definitely recommend this Chinese, prices are average but worth every penny. There’s always plenty and packed full to the top.

So disappointed, food ordered at 17:40 and it was delivered by 17:55. The duck was dry and not eatable. The vegetables had a sour smell and taste. The food was cold. It is impossible to cook and deliver in the short period of time, therefore it must have been leftovers from yesterday or the day before and not even reheated properly. Never again !

The usual cash only nonsense. Which i wouldn't usually review about but the owner seemed very unhappy that I was looking at the wall menu to decide what I wanted. Seemed to me like she walked off in a huff when I said I was just deciding, so i decided to leave.

We stayed for 2 nights in this homely Inn which is a very old historical building run by a lovely couple. We were warmly welcomed by Janet and shown to our room which was a good size with an en suite shower room. The bed was very comfortable and was stocked with tea and coffee and complimentary bottles of water. There is a bar with a good range of well stocked real ales. Food is served on the evenings with the vast majority home made using locally sourced ingredients. It’s really good quality pub food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is included in the price and it is a quality full English with plenty of toast and tea/coffee. There is also a range of cereals and orange juice. Warton is a small village close to Carnforth and a great base to explore the local area and very close to the M6. The George Washington is excellent value and we look forward to staying again.

Huge room with a comfy King/Queen bed and even huge-er en-suite. Nicely decorated and loads of quality storage and new bathroom ! Surprisingly quiet nights rest with a fabulous breakfast. A true and real hidden gem. Tip> Sourced off the usual suspects and then booked direct so that James & Janet get the full fare.

A wonderful little breath of fresh air, real hospitality in a very comfortable pub! Dinner was great, with real home made food and a quiet, cosy room. Breakfast was "eggcelent", well worth the visit!

We booked a B&B night to break up a very long journey, found it friendly and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and we ate an evening meal at the bar too which was both good value and very tasty. The beer was good too!

We were staying nearby and was told by our host that it did really good food, so we booked an evening meal for myself, my husband and my 15 year old daughter. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Our starter and main meal arrived quickly and were good sized portions and very tasty. We also ordered desserts, which were really yummy! Highly recommended!

Great little find hidden in a village. Beautiful area train station not to far away. The bedrooms are very clean and beds are comfy. The food is very nice and they altered the evening menu for me as I have an eating disorder.. Breakfast is served 8, 30 till 9.00am we had scrambled eggs with mushrooms, and tomatoes my husband added bacon, served with toast. Nice and hot and fresh. Owners make you feel very welcome *****

Ordered quite a few times over the years, but recently less so but i keep giving them a chance as the pizza when its good is good. Lately the arrival time is late. This obviously affects how hot the food is on arrival and it's a shame as it used to be pretty good.

Ordered 2 garlic breads for me and someone else online and requested mine to be extra hot , you know as in make the thing hot so it doesn’t arrive stone cold at my door , they’ve smothered mine in chilli flakes and was inedible. Rang them up and the young lad was okay he said he’d send a new one and some drinks for free for the inconvenience. But I’ve rang back and the lad said the boss won’t let him send a new one. Very disappointing. Very bad quality too. It’s now the next day after eating the pizza and let’s just say I won’t be eating another one for a long time.

Could only eat half of it. Very little tomato base, mainly cheese and pepperoni on a meat feast - almost boiled meat that was there underneath cheese. Dough not cooked properly and raw in places. Usually good food but very disappointed with this order - wife had very tomato base too.

Quick service of food therefore chips wasn't cooked. Still hard. And kabab over cooked, plus didn't get yoghurt &mint sauce given another chilli sauce.

My mother is a regular to this cafe,make home made meat and potato pie and cottage pie,good helping. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. Make a good cuppa and coffee. Very reasonable and clean. Top marks,every time I go to Morecambe I go there, brilliant!

Passing through area. Tempted in by clean modern decor. The lady serving me and then later a lady tidying up were both exceptionally friendly. They didn't hurry me even though they were closing up. Food I had (toastie and chips) was tasty and good value.

Didn't enjoy the salt and pepper chips tonight, they were rather too salty. Felt like I was pouring a bottle of salt down my throat. Usually good but would say very poor tonight. Very well done too!!!

Special fried rice bang on could tell they were fresh prawns! Bbq sauce nice Beef chow mein a bit different to Chinese normal taste but beef in it was supperb! Salt and pepper chicken was 10/10 banging!!.

Wow , absolutely delicious tasting food, arrived within time and still hot. Best tasting curry sauce i have personally tasted from a Chinese takeaway, King prawn omelette was delicious too. Great all round service, highly recommend.

My new regular Chinese takeaway. This place is great. When I try a new Chinese I go for sweet and sour. Simple. If they cant get that right I won't go back. So first time I got special sweet and sour, rice, noodles and won tons. First of all the portions are huge. Big tubs of main dish with lots of meat and the only one I know of that gives you three king prawns in a special instead of two. The sauce was rich and very tasty. Plenty of meat. The rice was as you'd expect. The won tons were nice and you got about 15 too!! So I went again and tried the special in honey chilli sauce Wontons and salt and pepper chips. The chips were not for me. Chippy chips should not be used for this dish in my opinion and these actually had vinegar on them too. But the honey and chilli was very very nice. Just the right amount of spice for me which is not too spicy. Wontons were great and 13 this time. Also they sent a bag of spring rolls for free which was nice. I'd highly recommend this place. I'll be going again

Biggest portions of chips for miles around, at a cheap price. Staff friendliness is average, occasionally miserable. Food generally tasty and I like it more than the other Chinese take-away a few doors away. Never had a bad meal from here. Cash only - no card payments - but there is a cash machine across the road, if needed. Nearby parking is sometimes busy.

Very slow service. Went in and was stood around for ages after placing our order. Really slow. Food wasn't too good either. Kebab meat was overcooked like crispy bacon. Shame as it used to be nice. Even garlic sauce was naff

Hmmm,food was disgusting.crispy shredden chicken was soft and bland,no crispiness at all...hot n sour soup was bland and had a weired taste..salt n pepper ribs 🙈 OMG... deep fried (wouldnt call em ribs) and then onion thrown on top...all unfinished and binned.......kebab on skewer looks like its seen better days and rubbish on fridge and service hatch...very scruffy.....didnt get service with a smile either..no goodbye or no contact on way out.......will never visit here again..🤮

Absolutely disgusting chips stone cold and chewy! sausage cold! Curry sauce oily greasy and Luke warm!! The worst thing is I actually went in to the shop so i carnt blame delivery which is even worse!! This so called fast food shop serves cold food and it’s a total rip off! I will never order from here again!!!

The only thing we ate was the fried rice and curry sauce which was pretty nice. The rest of it was abysmal salt n pepper chicken was dry and lacked flavour £8.30 , the salt n pepper ribs all fat no meat lacked any flavour £9.20, salt n pepper chips just chips with some onions peppers and some black pepper£6.00 absolute joke ? This is very poor takeaway at good restaurant prices. Maybe they are trying to do to much choice Chinese, chippy and kebabs which didn’t look great and I wouldn’t of tried it, at them prices I want a proper Turkish kebab. I usually don’t mind paying extra for good food however this wasn’t good at all.

Was never the best, but convenient. Went today for some lunch, £12 for rice noodles and curry sauce. £6.20 for chips and curry, £5.20 for pie and gravy. I could not beleive the pricing for very mediocre food. Customer after customer were questionning the pricing, so I feel people will not return as we really will not. We accept things are increasing but this jump is just ridiculous.

They've just recently put their prices up. £3.75 for a regular chips is absolutely ridiculous. £3.00 for a sausage. Pretty much all the fish&chip shops in the surrounding are all a pound or more cheaper on each item. £11.10 for fish and chips? I mean come on.. I understand things have gone up that's just taking the mickey. Maybe this business needs to do some market research and have a look what their competitors are charging before trying to rip off their customers that have used this fish and chip shop for many years.

Chicken Kebab was horrible. Delivered with everything already in the pitta. Pitta was soggy and inedible, ended up in the bin with the chicken which was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing meal and definitely not worth £11

It's a very, very long time since I was last here, I stopped going thanks to the food I was served all those years ago. I'll be back. New owners, may have had quite a few since my last visit 🤣 Quick friendly service and the fish 'n chips were lovely. Sep 2024 update. Called in this evening with my wife for some chips to eat on our walk along the promenade, my wife hasn't eaten from here before. Best chips we've had for a long time, wrapped in paper which didn't get full of grease as we've experienced elsewhere and just the right amount of salt & vinegar. There was a short wait but that's because they were cooked fresh.

We made a large order for a party we were having down the road. I phoned to ask if they would be able to cater for us, we exchanged WhatsApp’s to confirm our order the day before, we added a few extras to our order on the night and they let me know when it was all ready to collect, bang on the time we had agreed. Lovely helpful staff. All our guests enjoyed their food, and the portion sizes were just right - hardly any waste and full tummies all round. Thank you Poulton Square Chippy!

Great chips, fish is good. £5card spend minimum!!. Small sauce portion could be bigger. Pies are woefully, I would suggest a new supplier. Portions were good.

We ordered for delivery three 10” pizza, large fries and Garlic mushrooms. Fast delivery service, called to let us know they were on their way. And the food! Is fantastic.

Stayed at Regent Bay holiday park and ordered from here and the food is absolutely tasty, hot and delivery is quick. Would definitely recommend.

Just had Pizza King and I’m actually obsessed. The crust was spot on — crispy outside, soft inside. Cheese was perfectly melted, toppings were loaded, and everything tasted super fresh. The BBQ chicken one? Unreal. And don’t even get me started on the garlic dip… 10/10. Fast delivery, hot pizza — no complaints. Easily my new go-to. 👑🍕

I had a home delivery tonight, an half pounder chili burger and chips. It arrived within thirty minutes and was piping hot. It was all absolutely gorgeous, and I will continue to go to Pizza King to try its kebabs and pizzas. Thank you for, guys, from Ruth x

Ordered food for collection within 20 mins. We turned up to the address shown via Just Eat and it was closed and looked closed down. Tried contacting them and no answer. We then gave up and went home, another 45 mins later they start calling telling us to come and collect the order. We had already eaten by the time they bothered to contact us and are refusing to give us a refund. The person who called us was arrogant and wouldn't even listen to us. We have no idea why the shop was closed considering apparently open from 5pm and we went at 7pm, he refused to answer this. We will be contacting Just Eat for a refund. Do not order from these con artists.

Absolutely apauling! My order was wrong I complained because it tasted like perfume I said there was also no red salt or mayo until I used mine. He then went on to shout at me and tell me I’m wrong! NEVER EVER AGAIN. RUDE RUDE RUDE they need to get some manners

Ordered foor around 8pm tonight, told it would be delivered between 21:25pm - 21:45pm.... its now 11pm and still no delivery.... phoned both numbers several times with no answer from the takeaway... Will never be ordering from this dump again.

Good value for money, garlic bread was especially nice and the kebabs are huge. Probably wouldn’t order again because they shouldn’t accept online orders for delivery at a certain time if they know they can’t fulfil that time. Preordered well in advance as well.

Awful service tonight! Over 2 and a half hours for delivery, phoned twice during the wait to find out where my food was, the first time I was told "its nearly there"....second time I was told "ill find out and let you know"....then they stopped taking calls. 40 minutes later food arrived! Pizza and garlic bread were barely cooked. Won't be ordering from here again.

Used to be the best place to order from told everyone about it. But last couple of orders were yuk. I ordered Donna pizza and cheesey garlic bread it arrived after 1hour 15mins .... too long to wait for food on a Monday... Saturday you expect that .....anyway it arrived burnt .. BURNT yuk 4 bits of Donna on pizza burnt curled up dry it went in the bin NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN such a shame used to be amazing

Something has changed here as I just had the worst kebab ever. A simple order of dinner meat, chips and salad with mayo. Got food home, no salad, no mayo and hardly any meat. Total rip off and awful slow service. Ised to be so good. Don't know if it's changed hands but there was a scribbled note on the counter saying no curry at the moment. A shame.

Really nice meal from here, we had the sweet and sour chicken, crispy beef, chicken in black bean sauce, salt and pepper chips. All tasted lovely! Only thing was the chips are ‘fish and chip’ chips, not the Chinese style that we like.

I don’t ever comment on bad service. However I felt it was necessary to put my annoyance across. We placed an order for collection , sadly when we got home we realised the order was wrong , we’d ordered a crispy beef which the girl on the phone double checked they did, and confirmed (not all negative as she was very pleasant ) we even double checked after she confirmed that it was crispy. (We just got plain beef). When we called to say the order was wrong we were asked if it was an inconvenience to collect again , which it was as everyone else’s food would have gone cold in the meantime. They offered to deliver , however indicated there would be a delivery charge (surely not if this is their error!!!!!) the girl on the phone was lovely , and clearly only taking instructions from the owners/kitchen staff. But I can’t help but feel that the service was utterly shocking given the fact that this was their fault (a gesture of good will would have been to have delivered free of charge). I’m deeply disappointed given the fact this was my first time placing an order here upon good recommendations . I appreciate human error…. But the way they dealt with it was not acceptable! Note to all…. Check your food before you leave (not that you should have to) .

All of the food we ordered was consistent... Consistently bland. and flavourless. When we opened the box for the beef chowmien it looked grey and watery, tasted like it too. The spring rolls were filled with polystyrene like "meat granules" the Staff treated me like a chore and was as cold as the freezer that the meals were unearthed from. We shall not order again.

Is this is the best Chinese takeaway in Morecambe by far? I think so, it's where I always go. I love the food there and the owner's have run it for many many years, this is why it's so consistant. It has been good for many many years. I don't know why it's called new dragon town ? As it has been there for a long time.

One of the best Chinese food I have tried in UK. Unbeatable price and utmost delicious. One of the best tourist spots that u definitely don’t want to miss.

Great little sandwich shop. Recommend the sweet chilli chicken and the tuna melt. They do great hot food also and external catering. Had them for our wedding. Awesome! Great and reasonably priced cakes for special occasions made to your specification and design.

Ordered a buffet for my daughter's baby shower, the food and variety was of a very high standard. Everything was lovely and fresh and there was a great variety. Everyone at the party complimented the food. I would highly recommend Gills pantry

Not great, on two occasions we found a long strand of hair in the breakfast. Once isn't good but twice not acceptable. Won't return.

Had one of their rice boxes from the Mexican menu tonight which was soooooo good!! Really generous portions, delicious and reasonably priced. Delivery was quick too - Winner!! Will be ordering again :-)

Enjoyed every bite & have had several deliveries. Living a number of miles away doesn’t appear a problem for them as delivery is quick and food still hot.

Lovely sea views, large free car park, disabled ramp from car park to outside eating area. Staff friendly, dogs welcome. Basic menu very reasonably priced.

Food was good, delivery was good, but how can you be quoted a price over the phone, and then be dearer at the door.when I complained was told,don't know, probably delivery charge. I'm less than half a mile away. Shouldn't that charge,if there is one, be in original quote. Beware !!

VERY very disappointed with the food we received, was expecting more for £76!!!!!food for over 12 people and to think you would get more for what you paid.First of all, we was promised over the phone we would get a lot of freebies for over £30 and we spent £76 with a tip for the driver. and we received 5 wings and prawn crackers that are different colours. Some white and some yellow! THEN the food portions was shocking! over £5 for salt and pepper chips but ordered for 2x salt and pepper boxes and wasn’t much in little boxes and missing things from our order as well! PINEAPPLE IN SATAY !!! disgusting very very unsatisfied and the chips were rock hard very plain. they call them self a 4 and a half star rating but the food was awful and they didn’t even seem to care one. wouldn’t recommend going to anyone!

I got a beef chow mein from here as i was eating it i noticed the beef in it was hard and i have now been up all night with a feeling i can only describe as being stabbed in the stomach and ripped open and being sick absolutely awful place do not go here

Gorgeous pies! They were out of the Cheese, Onion, & Potato, but said to wait 5 minutes and they'd have some made fresh. 3 minutes later and we're served the most delicious, piping hot pies I've had. Absolutely bursting with filling. My friends had meat pies and said they were divine. Love this little place, I'm a little disappointed I'm only passing through, cause I'd love to come here again.

Omg! These pies are delicious! We were visiting morecambe for the week & we stumbled across this pie shop one morning and dropped in….the pies were still warm eeeek! Anyhow after each of our party ordering a pie or 2 each we were hooked on this deliciousness & we placed a big order via email to take home to London with us. The pastry is gooooooood, thin and very short just how we like it. Best pork pie I’ve had from one end of the country to the other :) and the beef n oil ion is very tasty too!

Called in yesterday while passing for the 1st time . Pies are very tasty accompanied by some real gravy . Even splashed out on 3 vanilla slices for later and they were excellent. Definitely be going again before we leave Lancaster 👍👏👏👏

Came in 30/08, appalled at customer service. Two colleagues in, one was lovely. The other (I think her name tag said Milly) needs to be taught some manners, she was rude and clearly didn’t want to be there.

Food was normal as always, however a male member of staff was very irate and made myself feel very uncomfortable. Understandably it was quite busy but kept throwing gloves and paper around and complaining that they needed more staff.
